So much for their relaxing night out! Dee and Ryo weren't even on duty, they'd clocked off at the end of their shift four hours ago, gone home to freshen up and change, had a meal at the Vietnamese restaurant they liked, and then, since the queues were so long, had decided to skip the movie and go to a club instead. A couple of drinks, some dancing, get their engines revving for later, back at Dee's place…
It was a good plan, and they'd picked a gay club in order to avoid any chance of having to deal with drunken, homophobic assholes. Unfortunately, assholes came in every shape, size, color, and orientation, so here they were, two off-duty detectives just looking to unwind, stuck trying to break up a barfight.
"Lemme at him, I'll tear him a new asshole! You hear that, Nicky! I'll teach you to cheat on me with that little tart!"
"What, I can't even talk to my friends now? You don't own me, Nathan! I'll talk to whoever I want!"
"Gotta love the drama," Dee muttered, helping Ryo restrain Nathan.
"Doesn't this place have a bouncer?" Ryo grumbled.
"Yeah." Dee chuckled. "We're sittin' on him."
