"What're you having?" Ryo asked, digging out his wallet. He'd already made his decision.

"Gimme a minute, would ya?" Dee was still poring over the list; it was so much easier when there were only a few potential choices, but this place seemed to have every flavor under the sun. Hell, they even had pineapple and coconut, not to mention peanut butter.

"If it's that hard to choose, get a double scoop, or a triple. I said I'd treat you to whatever you wanted." Ryo sounded amused.

"Contrary to popular belief, that doesn't make choosin' any easier. Then it's all about which two or three flavors are gonna taste best together. I mean, would salted caramel go well with rum & raisin? Or cookie dough with key lime pie? Who even decided key lime pie would be a good flavor for ice cream?"

Ryo snickered. "By the time you make up your mind, this place will be closing."

"It's not even noon yet; place is open until six."

"I know." Ryo's grin widened.

"Fine, I'm gonna have two scoops of the chocolate cherry deluxe. What about you?"

"One scoop each of orange sorbet and Belgian chocolate."

Dee grinned. "Decadent delights!"
