At the estate, I was reading the newspaper and it was getting interesting.
Me: Lets see here. "Team Loud Phoenix Storm does it again. M.A.D. Physician who had Ties with the evil Organization M.A.D. was captured and jailed for life." Good riddance.
I read more and more stories and then Jack Atlas, Carly who had a huge belly now and Laney and Lily came back from the doctor.
Me: Hey guys. How did the appointment go?
Laney: Carly is really excited!
Carly Carmine: I'm expecting Triplet girls!
Me: WOW!
Lori: Triplets!? (Squeals) I'm literally excited for you Carly.
Jack Atlas: (Australian Accent) We all are and I'm excited to be a father.
Lana: It's gonna be awesome!
Lola: It sure is.
Me: When is she due?
Jack Atlas: In 5 weeks.
Me: Wow. We're counting down the days.
Then we heard groans coming from Nico's room!
Me: Uh oh! Sound like Nico's in trouble.
We went up to his room and we saw him curled up on his bed in a fetal position.
Star Man: You ok, dude?
Nico: No! (STOMACH GRUMBLES) I have pain radiating from my navel to my lower right abdomen. I'm nauseated and feverish. I think I have cholera.
Maria: There's no way you could've gotten cholera.
Nico: Well, if it's not cholera, then based on an Internet search, the other explanations could be Hirschsprung's Disease, botulism, a 30-foot tapeworm or accidental ingestion of chrysanthemum blossoms.
May: How do you know all that?
Nico: Lisa been teaching me this stuff. (STOMACH GRUMBLES) Oh, God, my belly!
Maria: Have you ever had your appendix out?
Nico: I haven't. I've been meaning to, but who has the time?
Me: Let's get you to the infirmary.
Nico: So this is how it ends. I find it ironic that after fighting bad guys for a long time, getting blown up, shot at, and beaten up, I die thanks to my appendix betraying me!
Irma: Funny how things turn out, huh?
Nico: (STOMACH GRUMBLES) Oh, God, I think it's about to burst!
FFFAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTT!
Nico: (Blushes) Oh, that's right. I had Brussel Sprouts for dinner.
Me: (Coughs and Gags) Oh man! That is rank! And I thought Lori's farts smelled bad!
Lori: (Offended) HEY!
Me: Well they do!
Later Nico was eating more and more Brussel Sprouts and as he was playing video games with me and then he released another rank fart and it smelled horrible! Same thing with everyone that he came into contact with. With Lori while helping her with her Trigonometry Homework, Leni with her clothes making, Luna with her jams, Luan with her jokes, Lynn with basketball, Lincoln with comics, Linka with her stuffed animals, Lucy with her poems, Laney with her art, Lana with her working on Vanzilla, Lola at a tea party, Lisa with her experiments and Lily with her photography. It was mega bad.
Later Nico just fell on the ground while jogging with Jen and Shrapnel.
Shrapnel: You ok, boss?
Nico: I'm fine.
Jen: Let me help you up.
Nico: Thank you.
Jen helped him up and then he farted.
FAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRTTTTTT!
Shrapnel: Ok, I think you may need to cut back on the Brussel sprouts!
Later we had a meeting and talked about Nico's really bad flatulence and we decided to have Nico stay back from our next mission until he gets this Brussel Sprout problem under control.
Nico: You want me to stay back!?
Me: I'm sorry Nico but I'm afraid this is for your own good. Until you get this toxic flatulence under control, you have to stay back.
Nico: (offended) I see. I get how it is now. You want me to stay behind on the next mission so you guys will be free to be reckless and angry. Is that it?!
Me: Nico-
Nico: Well, it's not like I have a choice right now! (Storms out of the room)
G1 Bumblebee: You sure you guys made the right decision?
Me: Not really sure.
Later we were watching a movie and it was the first movie from Ghibli Studios that we were watching. We were watching Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away and it was an awesome movie from 2001.
Ten-year-old Chihiro Ogino and her parents are traveling to their new home when her father decides to take a shortcut. The family's car stops in front of a tunnel leading to what appears to be an abandoned amusement park which Chihiro's father insists on exploring, despite his daughter's protest. They find a seemingly empty restaurant still stocked with food, which Chihiro's parents immediately begin to eat. While exploring further, Chihiro finds an exquisite bathhouse and meets a boy named Haku, who warns her to return across the riverbed before sunset. However, Chihiro discovers too late that her parents have metamorphosed into pigs, and she is unable to cross the now-flooded river.
Haku finds Chihiro and has her ask for a job from the bathhouse's boiler-man, Kamaji, a yōkai commanding the susuwatari. Kamaji refuses to hire her and asks worker Lin to send Chihiro to Yubaba, the witch who runs the bathhouse. Yubaba tries to frighten Chihiro away, but she persists, so Yubaba gives Chihiro a contract to work for her. Yubaba takes away the second kanji of her name, Chihiro (千尋), (Great Depth), 尋 (Fathom), renaming her Sen (千), Thousand. While visiting her parents' pigpen, Haku gives Sen a goodbye card she had with her, and Sen realizes that she had already forgotten her real name. Haku warns her that Yubaba controls people by taking their names, and that if she forgets hers like he has forgotten his, she will not be able to leave the spirit world.
Sen faces discrimination from the other workers because she is still a human and not a spirit; only Haku and Lin show sympathy for her. While working, she invites a silent creature named No-Face inside, believing him to be a customer. A "stink spirit" arrives as Sen's first customer, and she discovers he is the spirit of a polluted river. In gratitude for cleaning him, he gives Sen a magic emetic dumpling. Meanwhile, No-Face imitates the gold left behind by the stink spirit and tempts a worker with gold, then swallows him. He demands food and begins tipping expensively. He swallows two more workers when they interfere with his conversation with Sen.
Sen sees paper Shikigami attacking a Japanese dragon and recognizes the dragon as Haku metamorphosed. When a grievously injured Haku crashes into Yubaba's penthouse, Sen follows him upstairs. A shikigami that stowed away on her back shapeshifts into Zeniba, Yubaba's twin sister. She mutates Yubaba's son, Boh, into a mouse, creates a decoy Boh, and mutates Yubaba's harpy into a tiny, flylike bird. Zeniba tells Sen that Haku has stolen a magic golden seal from her, and warns Sen that it carries a deadly curse. Haku attacks the shikigami, which eliminates Zeniba's hologram. He falls into the boiler room with Sen, Boh, and the harpy on his back, where Sen feeds him part of the dumpling she had intended to give her parents, causing him to vomit both the seal and a black slug, which Sen crushes with her foot.
With Haku unconscious, Sen resolves to return the seal and apologize to Zeniba. Sen confronts No-Face, who is now massive, and feeds him the rest of the dumpling. No-Face follows Sen out of the bathhouse, steadily regurgitating everything he has eaten. Sen, No-Face, Boh, and the harpy travel to see Zeniba with train tickets given to her by Kamaji. Yubaba orders that Sen's parents be slaughtered, but Haku reveals that Boh is missing and offers to retrieve him if Yubaba releases Sen and her parents. Yubaba agrees, but only if Sen can pass a final test.
Sen, No-Face, Boh, and the harpy meet with Zeniba, who reveals that Sen's love for Haku broke her curse and that Yubaba used the black slug to take control over Haku. Haku appears at Zeniba's home in his dragon form and flies Sen, Boh, and the harpy to the bathhouse. No-Face decides to stay behind and become Zeniba's spinner. In mid-flight, Sen recalls falling years ago into the Kohaku River and being washed safely ashore, correctly guessing Haku's real identity as the spirit of the Kohaku River (ニギハヤミ コハクヌシ (饒速水琥珀主/饒速水小白主), Nigihayami Kohakunushi, lit. "master of the swift-flowing amber [river]" or "master of the swift-flowing little white [river]"). When they arrive at the bathhouse, Yubaba forces Sen to identify her parents from among a group of pigs in order to break their curse. After Sen answers correctly that none of the pigs are her parents, her contract disappears and she is given back her real name. Haku takes her to the now-dry riverbed and vows to meet her again. Chihiro crosses the riverbed to her restored parents, who do not remember anything after eating at the restaurant stall. They walk back through the tunnel until they reach their car, now covered in dust and leaves. Before getting in, Chihiro is shown to still be wearing the hairband No-Face, Boh, and the harpy spun for her at Zeniba's home.
We absolutely detested the way she was treated by Yubaba and more and we were really happy for her that she beat her and regained her family and more. Chihiro was an awesome force and more. She was a true hero for saving her family and Haku. When the movie was done we cheered wildly!
Me: So awesome!
Nico: This is one of my all time favorite movies!
Lori: Literally an awesome movie.
Roxy Santiago: You said it mommy.
Laney: It's awesome how Chihiro saved her parents and showed that monster Yubaba a thing or two.
Me: Yep.
Yusuke: I'm glad she did. Also the Spirit World put out a huge hit on Yubaba.
Boton: (British Accent) It's true. King Enma hates Yubaba with a vengeance and decided to put a stop to her crimes.
Boton pulled out a wanted poster of her and showed it to us. She was a B Class demon out to ruin the spirits of the Spirit and Human worlds.
Me: Wow! She is that dangerous.
Lola: Looks like my Penpal is gonna need our help.
Lily: Chihiro is your penpal Lols?
Lola: She sure is. And she is a very kind and awesome friend.
Cornelia: Sounds like me and Megan.
Megan McAllister: Yeah.
Me: Lets see what it says about Yubaba.
I pulled up her information.
Yubaba is the main antagonist of Hayao Miyazaki's 12th animated feature film Spirited Away. The character makes her first appearance when she is met by Chihiro Ogino.
She is a greedy witch, the proprietor of the Bathhouse, the identical twin sister of Zeniba and the mother of Boh. She has a bird servant affectionately referred to by fans as Yu-Bird, an apprentice by the nickname of Haku, Spirit-like pets named Kashira and is the employer of countless other bathhouse workers.
She was voiced by Mari Natsuki in the original Japanese dubbed version. In the English dubbed version, she was voiced by the late Suzanne Pleshette in her final role, who also played Dr. Rachel Walters in A Twist of the Knife, and Zira in Disney's The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride.
Background
Yubaba is an elderly witch with an inhumanly large head and nose, who supervises the bathhouse. Yubaba has an overbearing, ostentatious and authoritarian personality, but does show a soft side toward her giant baby, Boh (whom she spoils beyond belief). Yubaba lives in opulent quarters and is only interested in taking care of guests for money. Despite being rather despicable and repugnant, Yubaba is not completely without human traits, and seems to warm up to Chihiro somewhat by the end of the movie.
Yubaba has a twin sister named Zeniba. Although identical in appearance, their personalities are almost polar opposites, Yubaba being merciless and greedy while Zeniba is generous and kind, though Zeniba is very vengeful when someone tries to steal her magic seal.
Meeting Chihiro
Not introduced until after being mentioned by both Haku and Kamajii, Yubaba quickly establishes herself as a very terrifying authoritarian figure to Chihiro during their first face-to-face meeting (Yubaba is first heard in this scene talking through the gargoyle knocker on the door to her office). During her interview with Chihiro, she uses various methods to intimidate Chihiro into speaking about those who have helped her, and is quite annoyed that the latter repeatedly asks for a job, forcing Yubaba to make good on an oath to give anyone a job who asks for one. Calling Chihiro stupid, useless and spoiled, Yubaba's tirade ends abruptly with one of Boh's tantrums, during which she reluctantly gives a contract to Chihiro. Remarking on how beautiful (and long) Chihiro's name is, Yubaba quickly removes several characters from the signature, renaming Chihiro "Sen". She is then seen ordering a very stoic and distant Haku to take Chihiro to the lower floors.
Yubaba is next seen in the movie as a bird. By wrapping herself up in a cloak, she transforms her body into one similar to a bird's and flies off into the distance, allowing Haku to visit Chihiro without interference.
She returns to realize that a "stink spirit" is trying to walk into the bathhouse during the rain and orders her workers to chase the spirit away. Realizing later that the guest is in fact not a stink spirit, she orders Chihiro to serve him. After Chihiro successfully removed large amounts of junk and debris from the spirit, Yubaba hugged her in happiness, revealing that the dirty spirit was actually a River Spirit, and a very wealthy and powerful figure in the Spirit Realm. Some time later, she orders Haku to steal a golden seal from Zeniba.
With No-Face causing an uproar in the bathhouse, Yubaba angrily blames Chihiro on the phone for letting No-Face in, and promptly tells her subordinates to dispose of Haku, who was gravely injured after being cursed by Zeniba and of no use to her anymore. She is then seen coming out of a rampaging No-Face's guest room and quickly dismisses her (then transformed) son, Boh, for being a "dirty mouse" and pushes Chihiro in the room to face No-Face alone.
As No-Face regurgitates all the food and other matter he has eaten whilst chasing Chihiro, Yubaba remarks that what No-Face has done is unforgivable and tosses a fireball at him only to be puked on by the monstrous spirit.
Final Defeat
She is next seen in her office having washed herself. Realizing that "Boh" was really just the Three Heads and that the "gold" she received from No-Face was merely mud, she storms into Boh's room looking for her son and asks Haku, with blazing anger, where her son is. When told he was at Zeniba's place, Yubaba immediately extinguishes the flames in her mouth and seats herself in a chair, striking a deal with Haku to have him return Boh in exchange for Chihiro's freedom.
She is then seen pacing on the bridge entrance to The Bathhouse with a contract in her hand, waiting for Chihiro and Haku's return with her son. Having completed her deal with Haku and with the contract destroyed, Yubaba spitefully tells Chihiro to leave. Unlike her workers and son, Yubaba does not bid a friendly farewell to Chihiro, but nonetheless remains to see her off. And as Chihiro and Haku leave, Yubaba is briefly seen to turn and give an impressed smile.
Appearance
Yubaba is Zeniba's twin sister and, as such, is almost completely identical to her. She has an inhumanly large figure and a large mound of discolored hair combed into a bun-like style. Her age is never stated, but Yubaba is very wrinkly. She has dark brown eyes accentuated with lavender eye shadow as well as a prominent crooked nose drawing attention to a bindi-like mole between her eyebrows. She also wears golden earrings identical to those of her twin sister's. Unlike her sister, Yubaba is not shown with glasses in the film.
Personality
As the main antagonist of the film, Yubaba is extremely overbearing, intimidating and authoritatian. Like many other workers of her infamous bathhouse, Yubaba obsesses greedily over gold and is shown to be willing to view gold as a priority over her own family (especially Zeniba, whom she expresses hatred for). However, she has in some instances shown a greatly quantitative amount of motherly care for her son Boh, and is seen completely devastated when the latter states that he "won't like [her] anymore" if she continues to treat Chihiro (Sen) unfairly towards the end of the film.
She is quite selfish and frugal (when it comes to workers), having given herself an opulent office with immeasurable amounts of unoccupied space and her many workers a single cramped room as living space. From the other side, however, she also readily takes both disgusting and dangerous tasks herself (like meeting the stinking Unnamed River Spirit or attempting to shield her workers from the rampaging No-Face). She also appears to be highly professional in these tasks.
Her magical capabilities have allowed her to "steal" the names of her workers, binding them in a contract to her bathhouse forever unless they manage to miraculously recall their full names (the only two people seen doing so are Haku and Chihiro, both of which relied on each other to remember). She is also seen to be able to spit fire when angered to a certain extent (seen when Haku mentions that her precious son Boh has been "taken" from her).
While her attributes are seen as incredibly antagonistic in the film, Yubaba has occasionally shown several redeeming qualities, such as her willingness to praise Chihiro after her excellent work with helping the Unnamed River Spirit and motherly softness for her son Boh. In the end she simply places gold over most things, causing others to disagree with her due to their varying mindsets.
Powers and Abilities
Yubaba is a powerful and feared witch who displays a vast array of magical powers, including:
Curses: Yubaba's dark magic involves casting curses including Name-Stealing and Mind Domination and more that she can possibly do.
Magical projectiles: She fires a blast of energy at No-Face, though it doesn't seem to do any damage to him.
Stealing one's true name: She can take away one's name and replace it with a more convenient one. The true name will be forgotten by everyone, including the victim, who will be forever trapped in the spirit world at Yubaba's service.
Telekinesis: She can remotely open doors and move people and objects.
Metamorphosis: She can turn humans into animals and possibly do the opposite as well. Yubaba can drape herself in a cloak resembling a large bird.
Mind domination: She injects Haku with a parasite, apparently to ensure his loyalty.
Flight: Yubaba can fly, both in her normal form and in her bird form.
Speed: Yubaba can run and fly at great speeds.
We gasped in shock!
Me: Yubaba is a monster!
Nico: I've always hated Yubaba because she's a total bitch.
Naruto: I don't blame you. I hate her too.
Laney: Me too.
Me: But lets head on over to Japan and take that witch down for good!
Everyone: YEAH!
Me: I know it's rough but we can't have you gassing up everything Nico.
Nico: I understand.
We went off to Japan. But little did we know that Nico was following us.
TOKYO, JAPAN
We arrived in Tokyo, Japan and we were right outside the house of Chihiro Ogino. We saw her working in her garden. She was now a 17 year old girl still living with her parents and she was now working hard to protect her family no matter what.
Me: Excuse me.
Chihiro saw us.
Me: Are you Chihiro Ogino?
Chihiro: Wow! Team Loud Phoenix Storm! (Bows) It's such an honor to meet you all and yes I am Chihiro Ogino.
Me: (Bows) Pleasure to meet you too Chihiro.
Lola: Hey Chihiro. It's a pleasure to meet you in person.
Chihiro: Lola!
They hugged.
Chihiro: It's a pleasure to meet you.
Lola: It's awesome having you as a penpal.
Laney: We watched your awesome movie Spirited Away and it is awesome!
Me: It sure is. We love how you bravely saved your parents from the evil Yubaba.
Chihiro: I know. I can't believe we accidentally wound up in the Spirit World.
Kuwabara: That is pretty unusual.
Yukina: I believe it.
Hiei: It sure is weird.
Chihiro: I'm glad you're all here. Because I think my parents went into the Spirit World again.
Me: Looks like we got here just in time.
Chihiro: Yes. Where's Nico? Isn't he usually with you?
Me: He's having a day off because he has really bad gas. He eats Brussel Sprouts and it gives him really bad gas.
Chihiro: Oh man.
Lori: Yeah.
Lola: Can you lead us to the door that leads into the Spirit World?
Chihiro: Of course. Be right back.
She went back into her house and she put on a beautiful red warrior Kimono and she had a magical Samurai Katana on her left hip.
Me: Nice outfit.
Chihiro: Thanks J.D. I found it shortly after I rescued my family and I trained very powerfully to protect my family.
Lola: Wow! You were busy.
Chihiro: Thanks. I've mastered an ancient style called the Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū 飛天御剣流.
Me: The Heavenly Flying Sword Style.
Jared: I know that style. That's a powerful Samurai Sword Technique Style that was made during the Sengoku Dynasty of the 16th Century.
Chihiro: That's right. How did you know about that?
Jared: I've learned a lot about the Samurai Fighting Styles during most of my training.
Jared went over the power of the Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū.
Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū is an ancient kenjutsu style from the Sengoku Jidai, developed to allow a single samurai to defeat numerous foes single-handedly, created by Hiko Seijūrō I. Rooted in the concept of ichi no tachi, or to strike in a single blow, practitioners of this style use a combination of immense speed and agility, battōjutsu, and acquired, observation-based pseudo-clairvoyance that permits a practitioner to anticipate an opponent's movements. Both offensive and defensive maneuvers are executed with minimal movement to increase a practitioner's ability to counter-attack and to conserve energy. As such, made with efficiency and spareness of exertion in the face of warfare scale battles yet with powerful and coordinated movements to easily fell threats in long and undetermined periods of time, it is among one of the strongest and oldest kenjutsu styles in Japan, once known as the signature style that defined Hiko Seijūrō The I as The Man Who Could Cut One Hundred In One Stroke.
The style commonly has the user keep one hand on the sheath at all times and stresses two-step attacks to ensure that the practitioner is never off guard while executing said attacks and allows the user to use the sheath as a shield to block attacks. Practitioners are also trained in honing their senses and to recognize movement, as well as to react in kind with their opponent's emotional disposition to efficiently fend them off accurately, a process in short that can be called "utilizing one's ki" or the internal way of the martial arts, allowing the practitioner to dynamically flow in turn with their opponent's own energy and use their own pace against them. Arguably, its most well-known trait is the surreal speed practitioners of this style use in battle (known as Shinsoku, or Godspeed), allowing the user to accelerate, maneuver, and strike at speeds most eyes are unable to properly follow. This allows the user to close considerable distance in seconds and strike down enemies before they can react. Despite each successor to this style becoming true masters of its teachings and skills, rarely have any of them be able to use this style to true perfection and bring out its full potential. Only Hiko Seijūrō I and XIII (and in the anime only Amakusa Shōgo) are able to surpass the normal limits of this style, such as going beyond god-speed without the need of battōjutsu strikes, letting them accelerate to speeds faster than the human eye can detect.
The techniques of Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū have only been held by a select few through the course of its entire history. In the face of its tremendous power as a style, this is due to its adherence to the strict yet responsible practice of isshi soden, which involves a single master training a single apprentice exclusively. This master-apprentice dynamic continues to point of succession in which the apprentice graduates into his mastery through a special rite of passage, in which they inherit the style's secret technique (ōgi) and the mantle of "Hiko Seijūrō". This process, however, results in the death of the current master at the hands of the apprentice who must use of the this secret technique - Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki - against them. Succession also awards the newly-appointed master an heirloom mantle which acts as the certification of mastery. This special mantle is also weighted which enables the master to continuously train their strength when worn, even with everyday activities.
Due to its tremendous power and speed, Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū has been nicknamed "The Black Ship of the Land" in that it would almost certainly secure absolute victory for whichever side might wield it in a conflict. In light of this probability, the practitioners of Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū have historically maintained the independence of any and all political entities, stressing highly the importance of wielding its expertise in the name of their fellow man. Under this duty, all generations of practitioners receive a great deal of insight regarding the human condition from the school's teachings. This includes instruction regarding the relativism of morality and the idea that perceptions of good and evil are not absolute; a potentially "good" human being can have any number of beliefs that may not mesh with those of the practitioner without necessarily being wrong. Other core tenants of the style include the idea the art of swordsmanship ultimately amounts to nothing more than a way to kill other human beings, regardless of the practitioner's intentions or beliefs, and that the Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū should never be used to improve a practitioner's social standing, acquire wealth, or obtain political power. Finally, while heirs are encouraged to protect the innocent, the defenseless, and less fortunate, the Hiten Mitsurugi school encourages its users to understand even foes to garner accurate judgement and resolve conflict with mercy and the least amount of violence, while in more extreme cases, ultimately permits its practitioners to execute individuals whom they deem to be truly deserving of death.
As powerful as it may be, Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū can also be detrimental to its practitioners. Medically speaking, the physical demands for Hiten Mitsurugi are tremendous. For anyone ill-equipped, such as Himura Kenshin, simply employing their techniques causes cumulative, physical damage to their body. According to the physician Takani Megumi, the style is essentially a "superman's sword art", requiring someone with an incredibly athletic body to use effectively in the long term. Normally, the training provided during apprenticeship enables a practitioner to condition themselves properly.
In turn, Hiko Seijūrō XIII is an example of the necessary conditioning for practitioners of the style to perform without incurring the cumulative trauma from regular usage, having developed an extraordinarily resilient physique with an incredible musculature over years in tenure as a Hiten Mitsurugi master proper. Himura Kenshin, by comparison, having left his training early, stunted his body's development resulting in a leaner, more fragile frame which culminated into progressive issues after mastering the Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki. After using the technique only seven times, he caused irreparable damage to his muscle tissue, decimating the agility and speed needed to exercise the more advanced techniques of the Hiten Mitsurugi. Furthermore, due to the immense stress imposed on the body, along with one not having the proper physique necessary to use the sword style to its fullest in the long run, continuous use can result in the user eventually being crippled and eventually no longer capable of using the style without it posing a risk to their life.
But, with proper and regular training, the style serves as a veritable "fountain of youth" enabling practitioners to suppress the ageing process. Kenshin, for instance, at nearly thirty years old, looks almost no different from the way he looked while in his late teens and his master, Hiko Seijūrō XIII, is 43 years old but looks exactly the same as he did when he was in his mid-twenties.
Techniques
Ryūtsuisen (龍槌閃, Dragon Hammer Flash) – Usually initiated by a powerful jump, this technique places its user above the opponent, thus opening up more vulnerabilities in the latter. This technique's practitioner uses the momentum of his fall to strengthen a two-handed sword swing that brings his blade down on his enemy's head or shoulder. Ryūtsuisen is arguably Kenshin's favourite attack, as once noted by Kamiya Kaoru.
Ryūtsuisen ● Zan (龍槌閃・惨, Dragon Hammer Flash: Disaster) – Beginning in the same way as Ryūtsuisen, the user positions the sword as to initiate a downward stab to the head instead of a downward swing. Kenshin is first shown using this against Shigekura Jūbei in the manga (though in the Trust & Betrayal OVA, he performs an upward stab instead since he does not jump in the air).
Ryūkansen (龍巻閃, Dragon Coil Flash) – Most effective when surrounded by enemies as this technique has the user spin to attack in all directions. It can also be used as a counterattack against a thrust or charge, one sidesteps a forward-moving opponent and moves past them. In doing so, one spins in a full circle, adding momentum and centrifugal force to the strength of the sword swing, which is then aimed at either the opponent's back or the back of the neck. The first two kanji used can also be read as tatsumaki, a Japanese term for "waterspout" or "tornado", and is often written with two different kanji used for "ryū/tatsu" (竜巻 as opposed to 龍巻).
Ryūkansen and its variations can also be performed as battōjutsu techniques, as seen in the video games Ishin Gekitōhen, Meiji Kenkaku Rōmantan - Enjō! Kyōto Rinne, Jump Super Stars, Jump Ultimate Stars, J-Stars Victory Vs. and Jump Force.
Ryūkansen ● Tsumuji (龍巻閃・旋, Dragon Coil Flash: Hair Whirl) – One of the variations of Ryūkansen, Ryūkansen Tsumuji, like its other variations, is most effective as a counter attack (seen when used to defeat Sawagejō Chō: Cho-the Sword Hunter), but can be used as an offensive attack. Unlike the original, Tsumuji involves a forward horizontal spin in a drilling motion like a torpedo, from which the user is able to strike at the opponent's midsection while in flight. Tsumuji is the full kun'yomi reading of the kanji 旋, which is usually used as a term for "the whirl on top of one's head".
In J-Stars Victory Vs. and Jump Force, two variations are used: the usual head-on version for his weak-strong combo finisher, dash attack and sheathed blade state strong attack (where it is unnamed) for the former game, and a version where Kenshin tumbles around past his target through the air with a single slash when used as the second input to his neutral special move sequence in the former game (or as his second heavy attack string input in the latter game).
Ryūkansen ● Kogarashi (龍巻閃・凩, Dragon Coil Flash: Wintry Wind) – An alternate version used in Kenshin's Five Hit Combo against Shishio. Involves a single small side-step coupled with a 90-degree pivot turn inward and a back handed slash that quickly blasts the foe away; unlike the original version which is a full 180-degree full spin and slash. The Kogarashi is the quickest of the four variations, however, the weakest as well. It is the ideal Counter Attack when dealing with a faster or unreadable attack (as seen when used against Han'nya of the Oniwabanshu, due to his 'Shin-wan Spell'). Depending on the form of media (mainly the video games), Kogarashi can be performed as either a simple mid-way-stopping slash, or a full-coverage wide-slash; either way, it only involves a mere single turn. Kogarashi is a unique climate that is only in Japan.
Ryūkansen ● Arashi (龍巻閃・嵐, Dragon Coil Flash: Storm/Tempest) – A variation of the normal Ryūkansen, this technique places the swordsman in a full rolling somersault slash while attacking, making it an effective counterattack against downward slash attacks and/or from above. The attack often varies with its momentum in its appearances, and in some cases (such as in J-Stars Victory Vs. and Jump Force compared to both Jump Super/Ultimate Stars), the attack can possibly hit more than once to shred apart the opposition. However, as seen in most other media, this is the only Ryūkansen variation that cannot be performed from battōjutsu. In the PSP game Meiji Kenkaku Rōmantan Saisen, Kenshin performs this variation standalone in midair where he somersaults stationary and ends it with a falling slash, similar to a Ryūtsuisen. While in Jump Force, when used as Kenshin's final heavy attack string input, he is able to move forward through the air with it with the same animation used in J-Stars Victory Vs. as such.
Ryūshōsen (龍翔閃, Dragon Soar Flash) – The opposite of Ryūtsuisen, Ryūshōsen is a rising attack meant to strike the jaw from below. For additional power, one uses one's free arm to apply force to the back of the blade and utilizes a powerful upward jump during the attack akin to an anti-air attack. Originally this move was designed to slice into the opponent's chin and kill them, but Kenshin has since modified the technique to strike with the sword's side; consequently, Senkaku, Shishio and Aoshi have all survived the attack, though the very former was instantly knocked out by it.
Ryūtsui ● Shōsen (龍槌・翔閃, Dragon Hammer-Soar Flash) – A combination of Ryūtsuisen and Ryūshōsen, Ryūtsui-Shōsen begins with the powerful jump and supported upswing of Ryūshōsen, giving the leap enough power to pass one's opponent in mid-air, and on the returning drop, Ryūtsuisen is performed. it is unknown if this move can be performed effectively without using a sakabatō, as the initial Ryūtsuisen would already be fatal if landed correctly with a normal katana. It can also work the other way around at times, where the Ryūtsuisen performed first instead, followed by a reversal-slash styled Ryūshōsen, in the case of Jump Super Stars, Jump Ultimate Stars and J-Stars Victory Vs., which also acts as the starter of his "five-hit combo" against Shishio Makoto.
Ryūsōsen (龍巣閃, Dragon Nest Flash) – A massive flurry of strikes delivered to the opponent. The sheer speed of the slashes makes this technique difficult to counter or defend, and is considered best to wear down more sturdy and enduring opponents with (Seen during Kenshin's battle against Sagara Sanosuke). There is an alternate version called:
Ryūsōsen ● Garami (龍巣閃・咬, Dragon Nest Flash: Gnawing) – A technique that which targets the foe's head.
Doryūsen (土龍閃, Earth/Land Dragon Flash) – A ranged attack, Doryūsen strikes an opponent outside of the user's range by striking the ground and sending earthen debris at said opponent with knockout force.
Kuzuryūsen (九頭龍閃, Nine-Head Dragon Flash) – A dashing attack that uses Shinsoku (Godspeed) to simultaneously strike all nine vital spots on the foe's body from a normal kendō stance, as each of these nine points are the main targets for different swordstyles (only different styles target different ones). It is said to be unavoidable and nearly unblockable, and is taught as a prerequisite for the succession technique. It is also Hiko Seijūrō XIII's signature move. Users who are faster than the Hiten Mitsurugi, however, are able to evade the attack head-on, as seen with Sōjirō. The strength of the move's "nine heads" will differ greatly depending on the speed, force and even weight of the user. Kenshin's Kuzuryūsen is powerful but is countered at one point by Yukishiro Enishi, due to the speed being matched, while Hiko's Kuzuryūsen easily overcame Kenshin's due to Hiko's weight advantage. And Hiko's God-like Strength allows him to instantly down the immense Fuji despite such a huge weight disadvantage and not being able to perform the attack at godspeed due to the wearing of the Heirloom weighted cloak.
The nine heads of the targets are in counterclockwise while looking towards the target from the user's view (shown more clearly from Kenshin's viewpoint when used in J-Stars Victory Vs.):
Karatake (唐竹/幹竹, Tang Bamboo/Tree Trunk Bamboo) Aimed at the above head with the downward strike: 壱 (ichi, one)
Sakagesagiri (逆袈裟切り, Inverted Kasaya Cutter) Aimed at right shoulder diagonally: 弐 (ni, two)
Miginagi (右薙, Right Mower) Aimed at right arm's center from the side: 参 (san, three)
Migikiriage (右切上, Right Cutting Lift) Aimed at right arm's bottom/right wrist diagonally: 肆 (shi, four)
Sakakaze (逆風, Inverted Wind) Aimed at groin area from below via upward stroke, or straight from front: 伍 (go, five)
Hidarikiriage (左切上, Left Cutting Lift) Aimed at left arm's bottom/left wrist diagonally: 陸 (riku, six)
Hidarinagi (左薙, Left Mower) Aimed at left arm's center from the side: 漆 (shichi, seven)
Kesagiri (袈裟切り, Kasaya Cutter) Aimed at left shoulder diagonally: 捌 (hachi, eight)
Tsuki/Shitotsu (刺突, Thrusting/Thorn Thrust) Aimed at center of the chest, at breastbone: 玖 (kyū, nine)
Ironically, the attack in some cases can be avoided entirely when out of attack range (such as jumping over it in J-Stars Victory Vs. and Jump Force or even blocked in the case of the Jump Stars games on the DS); but regardless, trying to avoid and/or block the attack head-on is impossible most of these cases meaning it must be avoided entirely; as aforementioned only Sōjirō was able avoid the attack head-on in this case.
In the manga re-telling, Tokuhitsuban (Rurouni Kenshin: Restoration), this technique is referred as the ōgi (secret skill/technique) of Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū, being called Kokonotsu Kashira no Ryū no Hirameki, which is an alternative kun'yomi or native Japanese form of reading of the technique's original name (九頭龍閃, ここのつ かしら の りゅう の ひらめき).
Hiten Mugen Zan (飛天無限斬, Flying Heaven Infinity Slash) – An ancient and seemingly lost move used by the original Hiko Seijūrō, Hiten Mugen Zan is a mighty charging onslaught of unrivaled power. Requiring the prerequisite of attaining the capability of natural beyond Shinsoku without the use of battojutsu, the user performs a myriad series of slashes that accelerate faster than other rapid slashing techniques like the Ryūsōsen, and are executed to beyond the spectrum of visible motion the naked eye can detect within splits of a second. Due to the nature of the required speed and force required to naturally accelerate beyond Shinsoku, pushing the user to the limits of their bodily ability, the final slash is augmented with such strength that it creates such tremendous impact capable of smashing, shifting, and razing the nearby earth before the user and crush rock, and the force with which the blade lands into the earth with is powerful enough to send its foe flying into the air, before the attack's full effects can take hold. In the eyes of bystanders, the sheer immeasurable execution speed of the technique gives the impression the final slash is seen as the only single slash delivered by the user, and in turn makes the collateral damage the attack leaves behind as the only spectacle of its evidence of performance. The move is first seen used by Hiko Seijuro in the Sengoku Period during the wars of Kitakata and Nagumo as the technique that singlehandedly earns the odds for inevitable victory for his domain of Kitakata, as the killing blow to the despotic leading Nagumo damiyo warlord Hirosaki Iwano.
Battōjutsu techniques
Sōryūsen (双龍閃, Twin Dragon Flash) – Seemingly a simple Battōjutsu strike, Sōryūsen is the first of Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū's two-step Battōjutsu moves. After the first strike with the quickened sword, the user wields the empty sheath along the same path as a blunt weapon. After the sword strike lands, the sheath strike delivers a pulverizing blow capable of crushing bone and shattering wood, but if the sword strike misses, the sheath strike acts as powerful insurance, preventing an opponent's attack and delivering a crushing blow when it's least expected. This move is first seen being used by Kenshin against Udō Jin-e.
Sōryūsen ● Ikazuchi (双龍閃・雷, Twin Dragon Flash: Thunder) – An alternate form of Sōryūsen wherein the sword is wielded while still inside the sheath. The first strike is made with the sheathed sword and, once it makes contact and occupies the opponent's sword, the sword is drawn using Battōjutsu for a second strike. While the original Sōryūsen is designed to make two strikes for versatile mobility in the heat of confrontation, Sōryūsen Ikazuchi appears designed with the assumption that the first strike will be blocked, and uses the full combined mass of a sheathed sword to strike to catch foes off guard and unbalance them vulnerable for the second strike. This move is first seen being used by Hiko Seijūrō XIII against Himura Kenshin.
Hiryūsen (飛龍閃, Flying Dragon Flash) – After assuming a Battōjutsu stance, one rotates one's body rapidly and then stops, aiming the sheath at one's target. The force shoots the sword's grip out of the sheath like an arrow, allowing one to strike a target outside of one's zone and reach. As a battōjutsu move and as one that requires one's sword to be shot at the enemy, it can be assumed that accurate aim is required for this move (or else the weapon can easily be lost), and that the sheath can then be used as a melee weapon in a second strike, but the latter is not seen. Hiryūsen is first seen being used by Kenshin against Isurugi Raijūta only in the manga.
Ryūmeisen (龍鳴閃, Dragon Cry Flash) – An unusual technique in which one uses the Godspeed of Battōjutsu to sheathe the sword rather than to draw it in a practice known as Shinsoku Nōtōjutsu (神速納刀術, Godspeed Sheathed Blade Technique). The speed and force create a miniature sonic boom that can be used to temporarily stun opponents with particularly sensitive or acute hearing by affecting their auditory nerves. This move is only seen once, used by Kenshin against Yukishiro Enishi. While this attack would normally only deafen the target for a while, due to Enishi's unusually sensitive nervous system, Ryūmeisen managed to affect his equilibrium as well. In Jump Super Stars and Jump Ultimate Stars, it paralyzes the target for no damage instead.
Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki (天翔龍閃 (Original Translation: 天翔ける竜の閃き), Flash of the Heavenly Soaring Dragon) – The secret ultimate technique, a.k.a. the ōgi (奥義, secret skill) of Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū, Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki is a powerful Battōjutsu technique whose secret lies in discovering both the significance and insignificance of one's life, the penultimate requirement needed to master the Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū.
Though its form is that of any other Battōjutsu strike, the Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki differs in that - while a normal strike is performed by drawing the katana from its sheath on one side while stepping forward with the opposite foot, using a single step, this strike adds yet another step (a second step) mid-draw with the foot adjacent to the sheath (creating a Stutter-Step) which momentarily creates an instantaneous acceleration to the forward-charge as well as the sword draw. Meanwhile, the range of the attack is increased and the timing of the attack changes slightly, which can throw off the opponent.
Although truly, a super-sword attack, it endangers the user by possibly putting the adjacent leg into the free sword's path and draws one even closer to an opponent's sword than usual, but on the other hand, boosts the speed of the sword draw to beyond-Godspeed and even greater is the boost in force of the strike. By realizing one's insignificance and risking life and limb to protect something else while, at the same time, taking one's own, fragile human life into consideration, the user is able to step into the small margin behind one's own drawn sword and in front of the sword of one's opponent without fail, delivering a beyond-godspeed blow of monstrous power.
Additionally, like other Battōjutsu moves of Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū, Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki is a two-step move and, if its secret should be anticipated and the strike itself blocked or dodged, the second step comes immediately into effect. The immense force of the enhanced draw cuts the air in front of it and creates a powerful vacuum in its wake as the deflected air rushes back into place. Any opponent able to deflect or dodge the first swing will automatically be subject to this vacuum and inexorably pulled closer to the user, all the while this vacuum creates intense winds powerful enough to overwhelm and catch their opponents off balance. With the great amount of force being applied to the Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki, a missed swing leads naturally into an accelerated spin of such centripetal force akin to the Ryūkansen. The added momentum of the spin in addition to the pulling force of the vacuum on both side results in a second strike that greatly dwarfs the first in power. This is best explained to Kaoru by Hiko Seijūrō XIII: "Even if you avoid the fangs of the flying dragon the gusting winds strip away the freedom of movement and the claws would rip you apart".
Although the Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki is one of the most powerful and profound attacks of the series, to learn such a technique is not without its weaknesses, cost and consequence. Those who learn the ways of Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū, and walks its path long enough to learn this technique, must undergo a final test, to be pitted against their master's unrestrained Kuzuryūsen, placing them in a true life or death situation. Faced with life or death, the student must perform the Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki without flaw, being the only attack in the repertoire of Hiten Mitsurugi that surpasses the Kuzuryūsen in speed and execution- else the apprentice fails and is ultimately slain for naught. Should they succeed, they will have mastered both this technique, and how it is a testament, the entire style of Hiten Mitsurugi itself, but at the cost of the preceding master's life.
While the attack is incredibly powerful and seemingly undefeatable, the basis of Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki, the fighter's will to live and compassion for others allowing them to stand on the edge of life or death, must be strong, free, and unwavering of any doubt and turmoil that lies in the heart of the user. This state of mind is the only condition that will allow the Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki to be executed flawlessly and guarantee their victory, as being out of this state only allows the user to execute lesser and flawed versions of the ultimate technique (as is the case when Kenshin faces Yukishiro Enishi and his Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki fails for the first and only time against the Watōjutsu ōgi Kufuku Zettousei).
The Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki is first seen being used by Kenshin against Hiko Seijūrō XIII, and his master is the only known master in the school's history to have survived the final trial. Its second strike is first seen being used by Kenshin against Shishio Makoto. Yukishiro Enishi is the only other opponent who has faced this technique twice.
In the manga, it was stated the Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki can kill even when wielding a sakabatō. In the anime, it was not stated directly, but it was hinted when Seijurō explained why he didn't die from being hit with the attack.
In the manga re-telling, Tokuhitsuban (Rurouni Kenshin: Restoration), this technique is referred as the "fastest of all battōjutsu", but not as the ōgi of Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū, being called Tenshōryūsen, which is the on'yomi or Chinese adopted pronunciation alternative form of reading of the technique's original name (天翔龍閃, てんしょりゅうせん).
Anime-only Techniques
Karyūsen (渦龍閃, Vortex Dragon Flash) – A seemingly improvised battōjutsu technique used by Kenshin in his duel with Takimi Shigure. Wrapping his wounded arm and sheath to the belt and taking the stance for the Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki, Kenshin leaps high into the air, and begins a free-fall. Knowing there is no stability while airborne, Kenshin utilizes the free-fall to multiply the torque of his rotating body to accelerate the draw of his sword for the decisive strike. This technique is more accurately akin to a battōjutsu variant of Ryūkansen: Tsumuji, in that it uses the body's centripetal force to counter any adversary's assault with a lightning-swift counterattack accelerated by the controlled head on the momentum of the user. Sagara Sanosuke was the one to coin the name "Kenshin-Ryū: Kaiten Battōjutsu" (Kenshin-Style: Rotating Battōjutsu).
Rairyūsen (雷龍閃, Thunder Dragon Flash) – A technique invented by Amakusa Shōgo. The technique involves using one's chi and swordsman's spirit, forming a light from the sword in a style of a violent thunderstorm, attacking opponents by overwhelmingly striking their sight with such sensory overload to the point that it knocks them out. Should it be used to its full intensity, the Rairyūsen rids them of their eyesight forever leaving them with grey-empty eyes; unless the one blinded can overcome the Rairyūsen's user in an Amakakeru Ryū No Hirameki clash in a test of true spirit, it is only then their eyesight will return. Kenshin was first hit by this, but quickly adjusted to being blind, and eventually overcame Shōgo in their eventual clash.
Anime-only "Secret Dance of the Umbrella" Circus Techniques
An improvised version of the Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū, used with an umbrella when Kenshin and the group were entertaining a large crowd to help Marimo prepare for her cannon launch main act against the Sumidaya entertaining group. Comedic and humorously entertaining in its style, yet as effective as the real art, the Secret Dance of the Umbrella is also likely used to provide a front to maintain the secrecy of Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū's real repertoire with a deal of humility.
Umbrella Spin - Kenshin immediately opens the umbrella, and faces the top in front of him, spinning it. At such a velocity, the umbrella can deflect various projectiles, including razor-sharp knives and blades.
Ball Throw - Used with a heavy rubber ball, Kenshin makes an upward swing, using it to send forward a ball to his unsuspecting opponent with the umbrella.
Wild Boar Evasion - When faced with a charging enemy, Kenshin swipes a feint at the eyes when the opponent is at such a range where the umbrella barely touches the opponent's face. When distracted, Kenshin then immediately uses the opportunity to go to behind or aside the rushing opponent.
Umbrella Drop - Leaping up into the air, Kenshin then comes back down and swings a downwards smack on to the opponent. This more or less is a comedic toned down version of the Ryutsūisen used with an umbrella.
Other techniques
Hiten no Yomi (飛天の読み, Flying Heaven's Reading) – A battōjutsu counterattack technique only seen in Jump Super Stars and Jump Ultimate Stars, where Kenshin readies himself in an upright battōjutsu stance as he nearly reaches for his sword. If he is hit during the stance, he'll instantly strike with a single fast-slash which has him re-sheathing his sword, akin to iaidō. Used as his Special Attack B via his 4 Koma version in the said games.
Hiten Gorengeki (飛天五連撃, Flying Heaven Five Chain Attack) – A named version of Kenshin's "five-hit combo" vs. Shishio Makoto in Jump Super Stars and Jump Ultimate Stars, where he performs a Ryūtsuisen, Ryūshōsen, then the three Ryūkansen variations (Kogarashi, Tsumuji then Arashi) in that order (used as either his Special Attack A in Jump Super Stars or Special Attack B in Jump Ultimate Stars, both as his 6 Koma version). Can also be replicated in J-Stars Victory Vs. when done from either version of his Ryūshōsen (which can only be done from either the midair attack or the fourth input strong-strong-weak combo version of the Ryūtsuisen in that said game). Though in Jump Force, only the Ryūkansen portions of the chain attack are reused (animation-wise) as Kenshin's heavy attack string.
We were amazed.
Me: Wow! That is lethal.
Naruto: No kidding.
Laney: Amazing.
Jared: Yep. I studied these techniques and they pack a devastating punch.
Chihiro: They sure do. (Holds up sword) This is the legendary Sakabatō sword that once belonged to the famous Kenshin Himura. He was known as the legendary Hitokiri Battōsai.
Jared: The Manslayers.
Chihiro: Exactly.
Me: Kenshin Himura was a powerful and invincible samurai and a true man of honor.
Chihiro demonstrated some of her sword moves for us and she was really swift and deadly with the sword and style and she was really powerful as well. She cut a bunch of trees down with one deadly swipe. The sword was so razor sharp that it swift and powerful.
Me: Wow!
Laney: Amazing!
Lola: She is good!
Lana: Incredible!
When it was done we were amazed.
Me: Wow! Well done Chihiro.
Chihiro: Thank you J.D. I also know about how to use Fire Style Jutsu as well.
Sasuke: Impressive. What level would you say you are at in terms of power?
Chihiro: Not really sure. Most of my techniques are ones that I picked up on the fly in Magna, TV and in your adventures.
Me: Wow! You have a photographic memory.
Chihiro: Yes.
Me: Good work. We'll have to see them in action when we get there.
Lynn: This is gonna be awesome.
Me: Lets roll.
We were off and we arrived at the gate that brought Chihiro and her parents into the spirit world. We went through what looked like an old train station that looked like it wasn't used in years.
Me: Wow. It's an old train station.
Laney: Looks like no one has been in here for years.
Yusuke: Sure looks old.
Kuwabara: I'm picking up Spirit Energy in here.
Keiko: I feel it too.
Boton: This is a gateway into the spirit world. It looks like an old run down train station but it is a gateway into the spirit world.
Me: Wow.
Chihiro: I can feel the energy too. We're getting close.
Me: Yeah.
We got out of the gate and we saw that we were in what looked like a carnival.
Me: It's some kind of carnival.
Chihiro: It's all a front to attract people to eat here.
Laney: I remember that.
We saw huge piles of meat and pork on the table of one of the stands.
Nicole: Look at all that meat!
Chihiro: Don't eat it or you will be turned into a pig. It's a terrible curse that turned my parents into pigs when I was here the last time.
Me: Oh man. I remember seeing that in the movie.
Laney: Yeah.
Nicole: It won't effect me. My powers are far too strong to be cursed.
Nicole ate and ate and ate and ate and ate and ate and ate until she was full.
Nicole: Ahh. BBBBUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!
Geoff: Nice one!
Nicole: Pardon me.
Laney: Wow! That's a lot of meat even for you.
Nicole: I know and I'm stuffed.
Me: Now that you've had your little snack lets go.
We arrived at the bridge that Chihiro knows and we crossed it and went into a temple and it was beautiful.
Me: Wow! This building reminds me of a cool temple I saw from over in Taiwan in pictures.
Atchara: (Thai Accent) It sure is. It looks like the Jiufen Old Street buildings. They looks so much like that.
Chihiro: They sure do.
?: Chihiro!
We turned and we saw a boy that Chihiro knows. It was the Spirit of the Kohaku River, A.K.A. Haku!
Chihiro: Haku!
They went and hugged for the first time in 7 years.
Haku: It's great to see you again Chihiro.
Chihiro: I've missed you so much Haku.
Me: It's a pleasure to meet you Haku.
Haku: Team Loud Phoenix Storm. It's an honor to meet you.
Me: Same here. We came here to kill Yubaba.
Haku: Good. I will gladly help you all kill that witch.
Me: Awesome.
We went into the temple and we saw Chihiro's friends Lin, No Face, Kamaji, Zeniba, Aogaeru and Boh. It was awesome!
Chihiro: It's great to see all of you again!
Boh: Same to you Chihiro.
Aogaeru: You are doing well.
Chihiro: I know.
Lin: It's great to see you again Chihiro.
Zeniba: So what brings you back to the Spirit World?
Chihiro: We came to rescue my parents and take down Yubaba.
Me: That's right.
They saw us.
Lin: Wow! Team Loud Phoenix Storm!
Aogaeru: It's an honor to meet all of you.
Me: Same here.
Chihiro: Let me show you all the Pig Pen.
We followed Chihiro and we were at the Pig Corral and we saw numerous pigs there and we saw that they were all cursed people.
Me: This is insane! Yubaba must be stopped at all costs.
Hiei: I agree. She is a demon on steroids.
Me: Let me see here.
I concentrated and sensed for Chihiro's parents auras and I found them.
Me: (Points to two pigs) Those two there.
I snapped my fingers and they reverted back instantly and they were human again.
Chihiro: MOM! DAD!
She went and hugged them!
Yūko: Chihiro!
Akio: Thank goodness you're safe.
Me: You were turned into Pigs. You're here in the Spirit World.
I revealed everything and Akio and Yūko were shocked.
Yūko: Wow.
Akio: I can't believe that we're here in the spirit world.
Me: It's not your fault. You wound up in here by accident. But after we kill the evil witch Yubaba, we'll free everyone and get you out of here.
Akio: Thank you J.D.
Me: Lets go.
Chihiro: Thank you all so much for saving my parents!
Me: It was no trouble Chihiro. Now lets get Yubaba.
Everyone: YEAH!
We went to the building she was in and she was doing more and more paperwork.
Yubaba: So that Lin is up to no good.
Then her name disappeared from the paper and freed her and then it bursted into flames.
Yubaba: What!? This isn't my doing.
KRABBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM!
A massive fiery explosion blasted the door down and a phoenix cry was heard and then we came in and we were ready to fight!
Me: The game is over Yubaba!
Yusuke: Time for you to pay for your crimes!
Yubaba: Well, it's a pleasure to finally meet you, Team Loud Phoenix Storm. (smirks) Or should I say, Lex Luthor?
Lincoln: What the Hell are you talking about?!
Yubaba: (laughs) Oh, don't play dumb with me, Lex. Rotwood told me that you used a mind transfer to put your mind into the bodies of Knudson and his friends. At first, I didn't believe it. But the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. You kill most villains just to get rid of the competition. And you're reckless because you always were the arrogant one.
Lincoln: You shut the fuck up right now!
Yubaba: Say what you want, Luthor. But we all know the truth. You can do as much good deeds as you please. But you will never be Team Loud Phoenix Storm or any kind of hero for that matter!
Me: Lex Luthor is dead. He died of extreme Kryptonite Poisoning on his way to one of our prisons.
Laney: Rotwood is dead too. He was Hakaied forever.
Then Professor Calamitous, Cheese Shogun Roquefort and Katnappe came.
Me: Professor Calamitous, Roquefort and Katnappe.
Calamitous: It seems you're all short one Saiyan.
Laney: Nico's at the estate because he's come down with some gas due to some brussel sprouts.
Katnappe: (in disbelief) Are you serious? Nico's been through more serious crap before. And he's one of the most powerful out of all of you. And you guys make him take the day off because he got a little gassy?!
Me: His gas smells worse than Lori's.
Lori: (Offended) HEY!
Me: Well it does! Now we have to fight Yubaba.
Nico: (Offscreen) Not without me you won't.
We turned and we saw him.
Me: Nico, I thought I told you to stay back because of your gas.
Nico: Sorry, guys. I know you told me to stay at the estate. But I couldn't let you guys take on Yubaba by yourselves!
Me: Well you arrived in time. I was wrong to keep you back. Lets get that bitch!
Bell Org then appeared.
Me: Bell Org!
Bell Org: Been a while guys.
Me: We can't thank you enough for helping us a while back.
Bell Org: It was nothing. Lets have fun shall we? BELL TRAPPER!
Bell Org just trapped Nico in a bell.
Bell Org: I know this won't hold you for long. But it'll at least give you some privacy to get all of those farts out.
Nico: Thank you.
Chihiro: Yubaba, you will pay for hurting me and my family! I will never forgive you for your crimes.
Yubaba: Then come and get me.
Troy: Time to get some more magic in this fight!
Megaforce Rangers: Legendary Ranger Mode: Mystic Force!
The Megaforce Rangers transformed into the Mystic Force Rangers!
Devon Michaels: Lets do it guys! IT'S MORPHIN TIME!
Beast Morpher Rangers: ACTIVATE BEAST POWER!
The Beast Morpher Rangers transformed into their ranger forms.
Beast Morpher Rangers: UNLEASH THE BEAST!
Me: Lets get her!
We went at them!
Battle 1: Katnappe
Starfire was facing Katnappe.
Starfire: Lets do this Katnappe.
Katnappe: With pleasure.
Starfire went at Katnappe and punched her in the face and she fired starbolts at her and they hit her and exploded!
KRABBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM! KRABBBBOOOOOOOMMM! KRABBBOOOOOOOOOMMMM! KRABBBBOOOOOOOOMMMM!
Starfire kicked her in the face and knocked her out.
Starfire: Clorbag.
Battle 2: Professor Calamitous
Lisa Loud was facing Professor Calamitous.
Lisa Loud: This is gonna be one scientific fight to remember.
Professor Calamitous: Indeed.
Lisa formed a ray blaster and fired it at Professor Calamitous and the blasts hit him and exploded!
KRABBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM! KRABBBBBOOOOOOOOMMMM! KRABBBOOOOOOOOOMMMMM! KRABBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!
Professor Calamitous was knocked out.
Lisa Loud: My science is far more superior.
Battle 3: Cheese Shogun Roquefort
Raven was facing Cheese Shogun Roquefort.
Raven: No cheese ninjas this time for Nico. He ate a lot of Brussel Sprouts and they gave him really bad gas.
Cheese Shogun Roquefort: I don't blame him. Is he on a big health kick or something?
Raven: He told me that he was eating too much cheese and decided to eat Brussel Sprouts only. But he has to learn how to eat everything in moderation.
Cheese Shogun Roquefort: I can tell. I hope he gets better.
Raven: Me too. Lets do it.
Raven fired waves of darkness and they smashed into Roquefort and knocked him around all over and knocked him out.
Raven: Nice.
Battle 4: Bell Org
Me and the Megaforce and Beast Morpher Rangers were facing the Bell Org.
Me: This is gonna be good.
Bell Org: And I'll give you my hammer when we're done here.
Me: Thank you.
I fired energy blasts and the Megaforce and Beast Morpher Rangers fired energy blasts and they hit the Bell Org and he was being overwhelmed.
But then Nico had huge gas.
Nico: Uh oh!
FFFFFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTTTTT!
The Bell lifted off of him like a rocket and trapped the Bell Org inside it and he dropped his hammer.
Me: Now for the fun part like on TV.
I took his hammer and banged the bell!
BONG BONG BONG BONG BONG BONG!
I smashed the bell and activated my capture mode on my S.P.D. Morpher and captured the Bell Org into a prison card.
Me: Yeah!
Bell Org: Prison for me is better than being destroyed.
Me: Yep.
I picked up the card and put it in my pocket.
Devon Michaels: Virus Eliminated.
Me: Yep.
Battle 5: Yubaba!
We regrouped and we were facing Yubaba!
Me: You are finished Yubaba!
Yubaba: We'll see about that Luthor!
But then she saw Lucy Loud and she started thinking that she was her Great Grandmother Harriet!
Yubaba: YOU! HARRIET LOUD! YOU RUINED MY LIFE! YOU MADE MY LIFE A LIVING HELL AND MADE ME AN AMATEUR WITH NO HEART! NOW I WILL KILL YOU!
Me: I didn't know that you had a bad history with the Loud's Great Grandmother.
Yubaba: SHUT YOUR FUCKING TRAP!
Me: Make me you fucking old crone!
Lucy Loud: (to Yubaba) I might not be Great Grandma Harriet. But I possess all of her supernatural abilities and her strong sense of justice. So, still think that me and my friends are really Lex Luthor's mind implanted into our bodies?
