As Bikky's bedroom door slammed shut, Ryo turned to his lover, blushing scarlet.

"I can't believe you let me just sit here like that!" he muttered from among the folds of the duvet he'd used to cover up his nakedness.

"Hey, don't blame me! I was enjoyin' the view; how was I supposed to know the brat would show up?"

"Bikky lives here! I shouldn't have let you persuade me to…" Ryo trailed off, his blush deepening. "Not out here, where anyone could've walked in on us!"

"Not just anyone. I locked the door; I'm not an idiot. You, me, and the house ape are the only ones with keys, and I thought he was stayin' with your neighbour."

"I told him last night he could come home today."

"I didn't know that. Anyway, don't know what you're so upset about, can't be the first time the kid's seen ya naked, gettin' ready for bed."

"What about all of this?" Ryo gestured at the pillows and bedcovers Dee had arranged on the living room floor the night before. "We should have put everything back where it belongs after. Then Bikky would've never found out!"

"He already knows we're sleepin' together, not like it's a surprise. Besides, you fell asleep, and I didn't wanna wake ya just to send ya to bed. Figured you needed the rest. I know I did."

"That's not the point! You could have…"

"Could have done what?"

"I don't know, reminded me I didn't have anything on, or covered me up. Something!"

"How could ya not know you were in the buff? That's the sort of thing I would'a figured you'd notice."

"Well I didn't!" Ryo sighed, exasperated, and stood up, still clasping the duvet around himself. "I'm going to shower and dress."

"Want company?"

"NO!"
