Test 674-2-1
Subject Matter: Lion King(Film one)
Target: Scar(Antagonist of Film)
Results: D-Class discharged the weapon the moment Scar appeared on screen. The 'shot' took the form of a large rock, approximately 3 feet in diameter, weight unknown. It proceeded to land on Scar's head, instantly killing him. Zazu, a bird character, came upon the body, and when Scar's brother, Mufasa arrived as well(The pair there to ask after Scar's absence from an early showing of Simba, Mufasa's young son), they were both saddened.
The remainder of the film proceeded without Scar's influence, instead allowing Simba and Mufasa to stay together, the latter training the former more properly to be King when he passes. The film has 3 major 'time skips' going from Cub to Teen then to Adult, and finally ending at Father, as Simba grows into the role under his father's guidance. The antagonist of the film is switched to a rebellion of 'prey' animals, instigated by the hyenas, Scar's minions in the original film.
The hyenas are eventually found out to be behind the trouble, and after a small war sequence, during which several characters are seen dying, though never in very violent ways, mostly falling or cut away as they're torn apart by lionesses, or stomped on by elephants. The hyenas, led by Shinzi, are chased from the Pride Lands, the triumph of the lions is celebrated, oddly adding in a detail of the elephant's being partners in running the Pride Lands, something from the sequel series, the Lion Guard.
Follow up to above test: The D-Class was allowed to view both the second movie, turned from a Romeo and Juliet style play into something more akin to a date movie, and Lion King 1 and 1/2 this changing from comedy into what the D-class described as 'Braveheart' for kids, as the Meerkats are attacked by the fleeing Hyenas, and they drive them off using battle tactics. No deaths are noted to occur during either film.
The Lion Guard, a pseudo mid-quel series, taking place between the first and second halves of Lion King 2 is altered into a much more dramatic series, the D-class describing it as more suitable for teenagers than the original intended audience. It now details a 'war' between the Hyenas and other tribes of animals in the Outlands, and the Pride Lands. Kion, the star, still becomes the leader of the titular Lion Guard, but the makeup is now all lions, rather than the mixture of animals in the original.
The war, being propagated by Shinzi, missing an eye from the previous film, has Kion facing down the Out Guard, led by a hyena named Jaziri, who's members include both Timon(Meerkat) as a grizzled veteran, as well as Bunga(Honeybadger), as his adoptive son. These two having been protagonists in the original show, are now used to make the 'Out Guard' seem more sympathetic.
Eventually, it is revealed that Shinzi is receiving advice from Scar through a process shown in the original series that allows him to exist as smoke and fire in the shape of his head. The D-Class refused to watch more, however, as he claimed 'that demonic head' was staring at him from inside the television. Smoke particles were found emitting from the screen, and given Dr. ██████'s passing during initial testing, it was deemed advisable to cease this test.
