Test 674-3(Extended Part 6)

Subject Matter: Dragon Ball(Original Anime)

Target: Pilaf(A.K.A. The Great King Pilaf or Emperor Pilaf)

Results:

Lapis enters the arena, and his first opponent is already waiting there, a green, fennec fox-like being with large ears, and a smile on his muzzle. He is also carrying a large khakkhara(A staff with several rings hanging on it), as well as closed eyes. At first, Lapis believes the eyes to simply mean he's acting like he's asleep or something, but then he realizes that this being is blind as he watches how he moves.

The being, Majora by name, seems undisturbed by his disability, and offers a greeting to Lapis that seems genuine, introducing himself as the fighter from Universe 4. Lapis returns the greeting, though he does ask if Majora is okay fighting. He's seen fighters with disabilities before, in the Tournament back home, but they're usually not considered the 'strongest' by any means and he'd never fought one.

Majora seems to find some amusement in this, and as if in answer, he swings his staff around, and the rings along its tip creating a silvery peal throughout the arena. When it was over, Majora then made a show of describing the floor of the ring to him, every tile and blemish, as well as the makeup of the, as it happened, fairly large crowd watching them, Lapis nodding as he did so.

That satisfied Lapis, who then got into a fighting stance...only to come out of it as the announcer climbed on stage and it was Brother Max, the same guy who was announcer at the World Martial Arts Tournament, and the Universe Tournament back on Earth. When Lapis asked him what he was doing here, apparently he'd heard about this, and begged to be included in this role, and since no one else really wanted it, he got it by default.

All the surprises out of the way, Lapis, smiling, asks if Majora would be offended if he slipped into something a bit more powerful. Without getting an answer, the Enhanced Human turned into his God Form, actually getting a rise out of most of the stands, all of whom had known on an intellectual level that that was what this whole events was about, but to see someone not in the God of Destruction position so casual call on their power was still a shock.

Majora, for his part, seemed amused, and whipping his staff around, seemed ready to begin, Max quickly introducing himself, and then welcoming everyone to the show, before giving a rundown of both fighters for this match, wishing them both a good fight, and then quickly running off the stage into a glass bunker type thing just off it, made by the Grand Priest himself, for the man's safety.

The moment he was out of the danger zone, Lapis went right at it, first surging forward, as if to simply knock Majora off the stage without any chance to let him fight. Majora, however, swung his staff, and the moment the tip of it touched his body, Lapis seemed to pop like a bubble, proving that he hadn't really been there at all, using a barrier shaped like himself as a decoy.

Lapis then appeared right behind Majora, his fist blocked by the staff, which sparked and crackled with the impact, before the fox was indeed forced backwards hy his opponent, his feet leaving ruts in the floor of the arena, as he swung his staff again, and then slammed it hard so the rings were clattering against each other. The moment that happened, Lapis felt his energy ebb, hard.

He was able to stay in God Form, but it was difficult, and he complimented Majora, admitting he'd actually kind of expected this to be an easy time, outside of the other two Destroyer apprentices, and that he hadn't been taking the other warrior seriously. That was changing now, however, and suddenly, from the cog on his back, several orbs pulled themselves free, and began to float around the arena.

The orbs, looking like simple ki blasts, but held, began to fire shots at Majora as they surrounded him, the fox man easily blocking each attack with his staff, swinging it around till it was nothing but a blur. As he blocked, however, Lapis got behind him, and then, with a series of punches, nearly tossed the fox from the arena right then and there, Majora complimenting his skill, and asking when he'd figured it out.

Lapis, smirking again, told him sensing ki was something his father in law did. He'd never met someone who could do it like Majora though. Able to feel it through the air like he did. But he was Enhanced. His strength wasn't just in his body, but in the Infinity Engine inside himself, so it was something he could turn on and off without a problem, leaving Majora unable to sense him.

The fox, nodding at that, simply raised his staff, and then struck at the floor of the arena again, but the rings did not collide, and when he looked up, he noticed tiny barrier spheres between each of them, the same spheres that had been blasting at him a moment ago. He again complimented Lapis, before the human surged forward, and with a single blow, cast him out of the arena.

The enhanced human was smiling as he took a moment to recover, brushing some dust from his face. Majora, meanwhile, took a bit longer, rising from the dirt outside the arena, though seemingly without any malice at all to his defeat. After all, this had been a friendly match, though in front of a crowd. For his part, the fox man bowed to the human, thanking him for the fun, as he walked back into the stands, and Lapis' next opponent walked into the arena.

This next fox was a tall, red robot being, called an android by his own admission, from Universe 3, named Biarra. His universe, as he put it, had a thing for mechanoids, with organic life being in the minority, a fact he wondered might grow true in their universe, given he could sense something artificial within Lapis' own body, and Lapis nodded, pulling down his shirt to show a scar on his chest.

He explained to Biarra the Infinity Engine, built by one Dr. Gero, his mentor of sorts in the Red Ribbon Army. Lapis and his sister had been his lab techs, though it had been Lazuli who'd understood more than him. He'd been a simple wrench monkey, though he had to admit, looking at Biarra, he was wondering if he'd made the right choice, given even he could see the fantastic construction in that metal body of his.

Biarra actually seemed embarrassed by the compliments, waving it off, before the pair were told to stop trading words and start trading blows by Brother Max, and they obliged, almost instantly filling the air with impacts, as Lapis charged forward, smashing into his foe with enough power than he sent shockwaves that rattled the arena itself, and even sent small tremors through the ground into the stands.

Leaping away, Lapis commented on Biarra's body, recognizing what it was. A K-Sink, something he'd read about from earlier battles. It absorbed kinetic energy, and Biarra laughed, pointing out 'his' body could absorb any kind of energy. It was a fortress, built to withstand any assault, a walking Asgard. He himself had endured over a day of pounding by his universe's God of Destruction to test it, and he'd not suffered a single scratch.

Lapis, nodding at this, asked if he'd tested it against barriers of its own, and when Biarra asked what he meant, the enhanced human moved his hands before him, and seemed to 'draw' a circle with his fingers around the opponent, a bubble like barrier forming around him, lifting him off the arena stage, and even as he protested, Lapis literally just rolled him off the stage, not having to expend even a fraction of the power he had against Majora.

Biarra, as he landed heavily off the arena, laughed, rubbing the back of his head and admitting, his modifications worked best when he was with his combat unit, either in general or in a combined state they had. Still, he complimented the young man's ingenuity, as no, his maker and brethren had not thought of such an attack, and he would have to design a counter to it.

So saying, the metal man walked away, but before he was even in the stands, a sudden wind kicked up, one that blew dust and debris over the whole area, forcing Lapis to shield his eyes, as a form soared in from above, wings on its back helping it to move the air as it flew. When it reached the apex of a sweeping motion, he suddenly spun, and we could see it in full detail.

It was another character, but not from Dragon Ball. The D-Class identified it as Gabiru, from another anime known as That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime. Interestingly, he was in his 'Dragon Newt' form, and wielding the trident of his people, neither of which would have happened before this episode aired, and would have only happened a few weeks previously in the manga from which the anime was based.

That said, he did indeed identify himself as Gabiru, claiming to be the strongest warrior from Universe 5, and a potential apprentice to its God of Destruction, Arak. He complimented Lapis on how far he'd come in this tournament, but with his 'Storm Lance', he would skewer any hope that the dark haired young man had of true victory, his boasting ending as Brother Max told them they could begin.

Lapis immediately tried to trap the Dragon Man in a barrier, as he'd done to his previous opponent, but Gabiru proved to be quick enough to literally outpace all the spheres that he tossed at him, literally dodging through them, until he was right in front of Lapis, the lance pointed in his face, and surprising him enough that he was almost tossed from the arena with a single blast from the thing, taking the form of lightning.

Lapis caught himself, however, complimenting his opponent's speed, as he then switched tactics, drawing forth two minigun constructs from his back halo, and then aiming them at Gabiru before firing. The 'bullets', taking the form of small Ki blasts, exploded as Gabiru tried to black them with his lance, forcing him back farther and farther as Lapis advanced, until finally, the Dragon Man was at the edge of the arena.

He then spun his lance above his head, and brought the end down, in a similar way to Majora's staff, but instead of hurting Lapis, this action spawned a swirling tornado in front of Gabiru, one that swirled towards Lapis, and forced him to end his assault, as his explosive shots did little to disrupt the funnel. Leaping to the side, dismissing his weapons, Lapis' eyes went wide, as the single funnel soon divided into several.

Typhoon Barrage, Gabiru named the attack, and had the funnels track through the arena, literally tearing the floor to shreds as they passed, while Lapis was forced to almost dance between them as they divided, combined, and divided again, filling the arena with their mass, until finally, they seemed to close in from all sides around him, hiding him from view as Gabiru smiled, calling the match.

Of course, he was shocked as Lapis, surrounded by his barriers in a protective way, emerged from within the funnel, breaking out, looking very damaged, but still strong enough to tackle Gabiru out of the arena, the pair landing out of bounds, as the funnel dissipated, and they were just laying there on the ground outside the ring, the two breathing hard, before Gabiru rolled onto his side, still smiling

He called it a good match, and offered Lapis his hand, the two pulling each other to their feet, and then lifting their joined hands, before Max announced that, by the rules, they were both eliminated, so the next match would feature two brand new contenders. This episode's credits also held a special thanks for FUSE Media, the creators/owners of the Gabiru character, thanking them for the use of him.

The time between the next match was given a full episode, catching up on a few subplots, including Bulma schmoozing several Gods of Destruction and Supreme Kais, as well as just in general meeting with some of the leaders of the universes. At one point, she is stopped by a young looking Kai, identified as the Apprentice Supreme Kai of Universe 10, Zamasu, who confronts her with what he saw as a lack of respect for the Divine from her universe.

This led to a small plot where she offered to talk to him in regards to how she saw things, sitting with him and explaining how the universe was where she was from. He, having the opinion that mortals were unnecessary, was given a lecture by the business woman on how the universe functioned outside of his purview, as he seemed to only see things from the perspective of a Kai.

As it came out, his own universe had problems. The God of Destruction was, to put it kindly, a lazy bum who barely did his job, allowing mortal races to stagnate, and thus, he saw little in the way of growth. It took her showing him how far her own universe had come, within her lifetime, for him to start to see the possibilities. That it took effort for Mortals to grow, but when they did, the heavens could be moved by them.

When he watched, thanks to a holographic book, the evolution of her world over just the last few decades, Zamasu actually felt his outlook on Mortal life change, especially when he realized that some of the impetus for the change had been the God of Destruction and the Heavens getting involved. Supreme Kais encouraging Kais to assist Guardians to assist Mortals, the domino effect that had.

It was, to his embarrassment, that he'd never once bothered to learn the name of a single Guardian, that Gowasu, his master, had not ever done so. Bulma, encouraging him, told him to look into his Universe when he got back to it. Maybe take a few centuries, and talk to as many Guardians as he could, and heck, encourage Gowasu himself to become more involved, through the proper channels of course, in the growth of his universe.

This left Zamasu with much to think on, as the next match started, Krillin getting into the ring. His opponent, from Universe 2, was another winged figure, this one female and named Bikal, who had a cloak that was made of a see through, gossamer-like material, that seemed to flow with her every move as she climbed into the ring, and Brother Max, from his box off the arena, told them to begin.

Krillin actually didn't move at first, instead looking the woman up and down, seemingly ogling her at first, but then apologizing when she called him on it. He was admiring her body, to be fair, but it was about her power. He could sense it, the same ability in Burter's race, the power to turn her Ki directly into momentum, but hers was most impressive, as he could literally feel waves of force flowing from her body.

She thanked him for noticing, before vanishing, and then reappearing behind him, her cap now draped over him, as she pushed him with a single motion into it. It was obvious as he was shoved backwards, that something was wrong, as she didn't hit him, instead simply touching him with her fingers, but all the same, he shot into the cloak, and vanished from sight, leaving her laughing.

She told Brother Max to begin the count, as he would not be returning to the ring any time soon, and Max did oblige after a moment or two, getting up to six, before the cape suddenly popped, some of the strands making it up snapping, and then, with a crack, the whole thing burst apart, Krillin reappearing, now in his god state, so standing a good three times taller, with his same proportions, making him look like a compact mountain of strength, the halo on his back sparking.

He complimented her on the trick, as he brushed some of the remains of the cloak off himself. A vector trap of sorts, altered space, using her momentum ability, she'd literally tossed him into it at light speed, causing him to fly millions of miles in a few seconds away from the arena, which would have taken him over an hour to fly back through in all honesty, as he would have had to push himself the whole way, with nothing to 'push' against.

Luckily, he had God Ki on his side, allowing him to literally destroy the pocket dimension linked to the cape. He smiled at her, as she growled, and then took off, using her wings to start making blades of wind as she flapped them, applying her power to the air itself, but Krillin just countered each shot, blowing her attacks away with his own, before finally vanishing himself, and then giving her a single strike from behind, knocking her from the air, and slamming her into the ground outside the arena.

Bikal seemed rather frustrated with this turn of events, slamming her fist into the ground, but Krillin encouraged her, telling her that it was luck she'd been fighting him, as he knew for a fact that attack would have removed Goku from the game, as he would have taken a while to figure it out. That seemed to mollify her, and she was even smiling a little as she rose to her feet, and walked back to the stands.

The next combatant the D-Class says resembles someone with water powers from an arc present in the original Dragon Ball Z story, the Otherworld Tournament, where Goku went up against warriors who had passed away. Aqua was the name of the fighter there, though this one, a taller, more feminie version, was named Aquata, and seemed a bit more cheerful as she got up next to the ring, and then did a handstand flip into it.

Standing there, Aquata identified herself as the fighter from Universe 12, and wished Krillin good luck, as she approached the center of the arena, and then turned to Brother Max. Before the fight, she asked him if his box was waterproof with its own supply of air, a fact he quickly confirmed, pointing out if his box let anything in, he'd have been reduced to paste by some of the force of the blows already thrown in this competition.

She giggled, said she just wanted to make sure, and then suddenly put her hands up to her face, fingers spread, and shouted 'Terror of the Depths!', before a huge light filled the arena, and when it cleared, Krillin was floating in an oceanic environment, deep under the water, with the sun overhead barely visible, despite the fact that, outside, the arena was only covered in water, so it should have only been at most three meters deep.

The moment he starts towards the surface, a sudden shadow passes by the viewer, and then another, and finally a third. Krillin, obviously sensing these things, spun around, and was faced with several large monstrous forms, identified as a Reaper Leviathan from Subnautica, a large whale like entity eventually identified as a 'Leviathan' from the Dishonored Franchise, and Aquata herself, now grown to a much larger form.

Krillin deals with dodging ki blasts, as well as sweeping attacks from the three figures, each shot seemingly amplified by the water around them, and forcing Krillin to take damage even if he avoids the shot, as the water seems to conduct the heat and force into him regardless. Worse they do attempt to attack him physically, and while he himself is slowed in the underwater environment, none of the three are.

It soon becomes obvious why there are three enemies, as Krillin proves easily able to keep one at bay using a variety of his techniques, but with all three lashing out, he is kept on the defensive for most of the episode, until a sudden opening allows him to use a Solar Flare technique, creating a blinding flash, and giving him all the time in the world to charge up an actual attack, a seldom seen move from Master Roshi called the 'Thundershock Surprise'.

This technique is usually used to stun opponents, but in the water environment, the electricity converted from Krillin's ki slams into all three forms, dispelling the two monsters, and eventually stunning Aquata, who almost fights her way through, before finally passing out into his arms as the arena returns to its previous state, leaving Krillin to hand her off to a few attendants, while shaking his body, which sparks and twitches from the left over electricity in his system.

He is given no time to recover, however, as his next opponent comes to the ring, a large, walrus looking man, named Toppo, the leader of the Pride Troopers from Universe 11. He greets Krillin as a fellow apprentice to a God of Destruction, and asks how long he's been such, hearing it to be only a year and some change, impressing the large man, who claims to have been in his apprenticeship for several centuries.

Toppo asks if he feels ready to taste the full might of what a Destroyer Candidate has to offer, and Krillin, though still a little frazzled, tells him to bring it on, and with a hearty laugh, he allows the God Ki to fills his own body, growing into an almost literally mountain of muscle, with a symbol blazing on his chest as his uniform tears away, allowing him to flex a bit, before he charges forward.

Despite Krillin's own growth, Toppo's fist is almost as large as his whole body, and the first blow creates a blast that flings him away, only stopping when he's above the larger fighter, already thinking of ways to counter him, only to be knocked from his thoughts by Toppo's aggressive attacks. The Pride Trooper Leader certainly lives up to the hype of having titles makes him sound, as he easily starts forcing Krillin to block, rather than dodge.

Each blast, punch, and blow causes Krillin's already tired body to shudder, and finally, Toppo was able to completely body him, slamming him hard enough into the arena floor to make a crater. He did not let up, however, and continued to pound on the smaller warrior, until a familiar cry echoed over the arena. Kaio-Ken. The first time Krillin had used it in this arena, and the last, as he surged out of the crater, and launched his counter-offensive.

The monk's body moved like a poem of martial arts. Each movement, each motion was deliberate, but anyone who knew him could see the tremble in his form, and could tell the toll it was taking on him. He would not stop however, and finally, drew back his hand, joining his fingers into two pairs, while declaring his fist was burning with an awesome power, it's loud roar telling him to grasp victory. The Technique name was 'Erupting God Finger'.

His hand, in the 'three fingered' grip, slammed into Toppo's chest, lifting him off the arena floor, and holding him over Krillin's head, as a new theme played(Identified in the credits as Burning Finger), when he was all the way up, Krillin shouted 'Heat End!' and the halo on his back seemed to 'phase' through his body, working up his arm, and forming into a small orb in his palm, in the small space between it and Toppo's chest.

A powerful explosion then rocked the whole of the arena, as all of Krillin's God Ki was used in the attack, his form returning to normal, even as Toppo was shot out of the ring, landing hard enough to make a crater, while Krillin's own form tettered, and then fell towards the ground, finishing returning to normal, just as Brother Max shouted that he was the victor of the match.

Toppo, having to fight to rise to his feet as his God Ki was let go, his body returning to its more rotund appearance, looked to the arena with concern, as a pair of Angels, Whis and Vados, floated towards Krillin. The monk, however, only asked for a hand up, and then seemed to 'flick' his wrist, a bean appearing in his fingers, stored in some kind of alternate space. He downed it, and while healed, he was still obviously weak, and had to have Whis help him from the arena floor.

The pair passed by Toppo, who forwent this 'Senzu Bean', saying his injuries were not so severe as that. Still, he was surprised at how jovial Krillin was, though he admitted as they went to the stands, Krillin had been weakened before. At his full power, he likely would have won their match, something the smaller human disagreed with, complimenting Toppo's own strength, as the two watched Goku take to the field.

The fighter, wearing his blue, Capsule Corp jumpsuit, smiled at Krillin, giving him the thumbs up as he passed him, and even having a few encouraging words to say to Toppo, before he leapt into the arena, finding his opponent coming in soon afterwards, a wolf man named Bergamo from Universe 9. He respectfully bowed to Goku, and the match began with the two crosscountering each other.

The impact, almost as strong as the fight between Toppo and Krillin, rang throughout the arena, and the two went into a flurry of fists and feet, breaking with a great blast, as Goku breathed heavily, wiping a bit of spital from the side of his mouth with his wristband, while Bergamo seemed, if anything, energized by the exchange of blows, laughing as his body trembled with barely controlled power.

He charged forward again, but this time Goku instead of trying to fight him, kept his distance, even using his own martial arts prowess to turn blows aside, eventually simply leaping over the wolfman, and spinning in the air. When he landed, he revealed that Bergamo was now looking a bit weaker than before, proving to him that the fighter was using his own energy against him, absorbing it when they clashed.

He shot a ki blast at him, saying he'd seen this before, and even nodded as the wolf caught the blast in his clawed hand, the glowing sphere fading, and causing Goku to tell him it was an impressive ability, and in all honesty, he doubted he could overload the wolf man as he had his previous opponent, an alien man named Recoome, the first and only reference to him in the franchise since his demise.

However, knowing that, he made an effort to keep away from Bergamo for a bit, leading the wolf to grow weaker as the fight went on for almost ten more minutes. Finally though, Goku baited him into a charge, and just before he was able to get near him, the saiyan's hair turned gold, and his power surged. Caught completely off guard by this, and before he could adjust to the strength on display, Goku kneed Bergamo in the jaw, and sent him flying.

He tried to catch himself, his body slowing in the air, before before he could do more, Goku appeared above him, and kicked him full in the chest, punting him into the ground, as he smiled warmly towards the opponent, who landed out of the arena's bounds. He climbed to his feet, his fur glowing where Goku had struck him, as he absorbed the energy from them, and felt his own power surge.

Bergamo noted, as he climbed to his feet, that had he known Goku could do that, he'd have been able to adapt, and it showed him an important lesson in not taking the fight seriously from the outset. Goku brushed it off, pointing out he could sense how powerful Bergamo was already, and he'd ruled out overloading him at the start, but figured a sudden surge up could still catch him off guard. In the end, he'd gotten lucky.

The wolfman smiled at that, and then waved off, as the next warrior came up to the stage, a most unusual being, the seemed to be made of liquid crystals of a maddening variety of colors, that shifted and moved in a humanoid shape, without really being connected. When they arrived in the ring, the being gave its name as 'The Pure One' from Universe 1, claiming it had studied for a million lifetimes to come to its current state.

Goku, unsure of what to say to that, decided to make the first move, and as their match was started, he leapt upwards, and fired three ki-blasts in rapid succession. The crystal thing held up its hand, and rather than absorbing them, as Goku and some in the audience had obviously expected, the hand turned into a large shield, refracting the shots in such a way that they literally looped back around towards the Super Saiyan.

The blasts weren't particularly strong, as Goku hadn't put a lot of power behind them, and so he was easily able to deflect them away, before moving towards his opponent. The crystalline creature 'shifted' the arm drawn back into it, the whole humanoid shape turning into one large 'shard' of crystal, before it shifted again, becoming a bulkier humanoid, all as Goku got into range to hit it.

The moment he touched it, his hand nearly broke, as his fist impacted the thing, whose hands were in a crossblock in front of it. The strike of flesh to crystal was obviously not even reaching the crystal, instead, the blow was reflected back into Goku, who leapt backwards, and shook his obviously sore hand, even as 'The Pure One' came forward, floating above the arena, not moving its legs at all.

When it was standing right before Goku, the creature 'shattered' towards him, flecks of crystal flying into him, slashing into his jumpsuit, and making him cry out in pain, as he kept them all distant from him, trying to bat them away, only to have them bury deep into his body, forcing Goku back until he was at the edge of the arena, with the crystalline entity raising a large fist above him, ready to strike the final blow.

However, this seemed to be what Goku was leading him to, and just as the hammer came down, Goku's hair faded back to black, before surging into red, his whole form slimming down, as he looked at his enemy, and then smiled. Even as 'The Pure One' brought its fist into the ground, Goku braced himself against it, and then lifted his foot up, placing it right against the crystal skin of the thing.

He then, in one fluid motion, used the momentum of the attack to fling 'The Pure One' over him, flipping in the air, and then leaping off him, his own momentum canceling meaning Goku never even made it to the ground, meanwhile, the crystalline entity touched it, gently it should be noted, but still, it was out, and it knew it, as he slowly reassembled itself into its 'shard' form, and floated into the arena.

Goku tried to compliment it, but 'The Pure One' seemed upset, if the sound of its tone was anything to go by, as it floated away from the arena, passing by the next opponent, even as Goku rubbed at his arms, covered in cuts. This opponent, a green humanoid man, introduced himself as Obuni of Universe 10, bowed to Goku in respect, and then waited, allowing Goku a moment to recover, before Brother Max called on them to start.

The moment he did, Goku was attacked by not one, but hundreds of his enemy, who seemed to divide up into multiple selves as he came forward, Goku caught flat footed as he tried to block every blow, only for one of them to get through, the others vanishing a moment later, as the 'real' one started to pummel him, striking him everywhere he could, before leaping away as Goku finally found his footing to counter attack.

Before he could advance on the being, Obuni hit him again, dividing into only a dozen this time, and striking not just with fists and feet, but several leaping away and launching ki blasts, forcing Goku to dodge them, until one in particular hit him, the others vanishing as it happened, and leaving Goku to be blasted several times, the shirt on his jumpsuit tearing away from his chest, even as he finally countered.

This time, Obuni divided again, the various selves moving in all directions, and Goku hitting a few of them, before the rest vanished, and the one remaining one, without a scratch on him, launched another dividing attack, everyone shocked as he seemed to push Goku back, pummeling him from all directions, though as before, only one of his 'selves' proved real, yet always it was the one that got through.

Finally, covered in burns and bruises, as Goku did another attack, this one striking out as many of them as he could, leaving only one to dodge him, Goku smiled, and held up his hand, to get Obuni to pause for a moment, as he had figured out his trick. Obuni, seemingly amused, asked him what it was then, and Goku stated he didn't know the word for it, but Bulma had talked about it once.

He was 'dividing into possibilities' and then taking the one that did the most damage during an attack, or was able to dodge him, when he countered. That meant that technically, all of his 'selves' were real, until the blows landed, then only the optimum path would become the reality, and the others faded, something about quatluuns or something, and Obuni, laughing, informed him the word he was looking for was Quantum.

And he then complimented Goku, as he was correct, that was exactly what he was doing. Still, it wasn't like Goku could hit him if he could divide into a hundred at a time, there was simply no way. And blocking that same number of blows? There simply wasn't a technique that could defend you from all angles at once, something Goku asked if he was sure about, as he got into a stance, and motioned for him to bring it on.

Obuni, amused, did just that, seemingly dividing into millions at this point, enough to fill the entire arena with himself, firing ki blasts of every sort, from beams to balls to disks, wall also striking at Goku, burying him beneath all the various visions of Obuni, when they faded, however, Obuni was left shocked, as the one version of him able to do the most damage was still not actually hitting Goku, who smiled, as his body sparked.

He then explained something. His yellow haired state was Super Saiyan, a state of extreme emotional distress, allowing him to purify his Mortal Ki, to its highest state. His red haired state was his God Ki form, his body suffused with the power of a God of Destruction. But, back when he'd been training, he'd had a thought, and wondered, what would happen if he combined the two?

At that, he suddenly shoved Obuni away through the sheer force of his aura, his body literally shaking the planet, as he powered up, the red hair fading to black for a moment, then going yellow, then red again without turning black, then yellow, and then shifting through all three colors in rapid succession, almost enough to cause a reaction in the D-Class, before Goku's power suddenly exploded, his whole body lost in blue fire.

When the shining light faded enough to see, Goku was standing there, his aura still looking like blue fire, and his hair colored a light blue. He actually then wondered, as he looked at Obuni, what he should call this state. Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan was a mouthful, after all, but then decided, Super Saiyan Blue, that sounded powerful, right? And he smiled, as he immediately shot forward.

Obuni tried to divide again, tried to dodge, but this Goku was so fast, that he himself seemed to divide, using after image to hit every single one of the Obunis, and one in particular taking the brunt of the blow, driving him down into the arena floor, where he groaned in pain, before finally rising up, and then smiling. He needed to see no more, and decided to give up here, as he had only one trick, and that was simply not enough to overcome this wall he had found himself against.

Goku, smiling, suggested he get stronger, and maybe they could go again, something Obuni agreed to, waving to him as he left the stage, holding his side where Goku had punched him. The next opponent, a purple alien in a black trench coat, was soon walking to the arena, a stern expression on his face as he very nonchalantly walked to his position, and then stood there, pulling a toothpick from his lip, and flicking it towards Brother Max's booth.

He declared his name to be Hit, Hit the Assassin. He'd seen Goku and his friends fight, and was impressed, even he had to admit, they were all skilled. Everyone here was top of their game. But they were fighters, warriors, and simple showmen. They fought for fun, honor, or something more nebulous. He was a killer. He fought for money, and had been paid a lot to see Goku defeated, but he'd been told not to hold back. Goku would likely die, was that okay with him?

Goku, laughing, not only told the Assassin to bring it, but then told him they had a way to bring him back, even if Hit were able to literally tear his body to atoms, he could come back. Sure, no one HAD died yet, but that was because of their skills, everyone here knew what they could take, so no one had pushed themselves over that edge. Still, if Hit wanted this to be all out, he was game.

The purple bald man seemed taken aback by this, but then laughed, commenting that his universe, Universe 6, had saiyans like Goku, and they had the exact same attitude. Idly, he wondered if Goku had somehow crossed between 6 and 7 to arrive on his Earth, but then shrugged, simply placing his hands in his pocket, and nodding to Brother Max, who declared the match start.

The moment he did, Goku was struck, Hit slamming a fist into him. The strange thing though was, Hit did it without seeming to move. Not teleportation, as that would not have allowed a blow to land, but also not moving through the intervening space, as the dust and debris that had settled on the arena from the previous fight seemed undisturbed, even as Hit's fist buried itself in Goku's chest.

Goku staggered backwards, every one of his friends and family in the stand surging forward, wondering if Goku had been taken out in a single blow, as he clutched at the wound on his chest, blood dripping from the sides of his mouth. He was grimacing, as he went to a knee, and for just a moment, it seemed that he would surrender right here and now, before finally, struggling, he got to his feet.

He had to admit, whatever Hit had done was powerful. He felt like his insides had been torn up, but he wasn't quite out of this yet, and as he'd said, this was until one of them gave up. So he, still swaying a little, got into another combat stance, and Hit then nodded, accepting this, and 'flickering' something that was briefly present before. This time, however, as he did his 'trick' he found Goku ready for him.

The blow still struck Goku's chest, but Goku himself was able to counter, bringing his arms together, striking at the exposed wrist of the assassin, who pulled back at the last moment, and 'flickered' again, reaiming his blow, and slamming it, hard, into Goku's shoulder, making the saiyan cry out, as his right arm now hung limply at his side, the bone damaged, though perhaps not broken.

Goku, as he pushed back, nodded again, poking his shoulder a bit, and wincing at it, commenting that he'd had worse injuries, but not a lot lately, not since he'd started with Beerus anyway. Hit was as good as he claimed, but Goku still wasn't down, and the Saiyan raised his still working arm up, telling Hit to try it, one last time, which the assassin smirked at, before doing his trick again.

This time, however, Goku moved faster, his hand shooting out, and forcing Hit to fly from him, 'flickering' several times as feet and fist flew in his direction, the force of each blow kicking up swirls of dust, before Hit finally was able to counter one, striking Goku in the hip with enough force that his right leg joined his left arm as dangling uselessly, forcing Goku to float above the arena floor.

Mind, he now claimed to understand Hit's technique, claiming he'd thought it was stopping time before, but he could now see it was more…'breaking' time. He was literally skipping the intervening moments between each blow, so that the attacks technically landed instantly, giving little time to counter. But Goku was pushing him. His first strike had barely been a tenth of a second, but now he was up to almost half of one.

Hit, nodding, admitted that Goku had the right of it, while likewise giving him praise, saying a tenth of a second had been his limit, or so he'd thought, before this match. No one had ever pushed him farther, but Goku was special. The saiyan was pushing him so much more than he'd ever had before that he'd expanded what he'd thought possible. Still, down two limbs, while he had yet to even touch Hit? This was not a match he could win.

Goku agreed, he'd lose this one, no way around that now. But he didn't see Hit winning either. Even if he could boost himself to a full second. Hit, intrigued by this declaration asked if he was willing to die to prove it, and Goku nodded, spitting a bit of blood out, and then making a 'bring it on' motion with his one working hand, a dare to which Hit rose, and then 'flickered' one final time.

This time, however, he found himself caught. Goku had been reading his movements, even as he kept his hands in his coat's pockets to hide what he was doing with them, he'd been watching them closely. With a surge of magenta in his aura, Kaio-Ken, boosting his speed, he'd been able to match Hit, and with his knowledge of just where he'd be aiming, he had grabbed the blow before it could finish.

Still, he had no other hand to use, and needing to stand on his good leg, so Goku struck out with a headbutt, the blow landing just slightly before Hit's free hand could connect with a strike to his heart. The crack of their skulls echoing over the arena, even as Goku let go, and Hit was sent flailing out of the arena, landing on the ground just beyond, out cold. Of course, the moment Brother Max declared that, Goku himself collapsed into a heap of limbs.

Goku required an Angel's own healing to not die of his injuries, or the Ki Disorder he'd brought onto himself using all three boost techniques like that. Goku himself admitted that it had been a long shot, as he'd never tried doing all three at once like that. Still, as he and Hit got back to their feet, he shook hands with the man, and said he'd love to fight him again. Hit, smirking, told him to start saving then, as his services as a fighter did not come cheap.

The pair wobbled off to the stands, still drained from their finish, as Goku's daughter, and the final challenger from the other universe's took the stage. This one, the only other Destroyer Candidate than Toppo, looked...rather weak honestly, a scrawny creature, with silver fur and black stripes, explaining his name, Silver Tiger, and needing to fight to climb onto the arena stage, making the audience boo him a little as he smiled.

He waved to Liquiir, before turning to face Bulla, who seemed a bit...off put by his power. She mentioned she could sense ki, even her husband's artificially produced stuff, but Silver was weird. She could sense a lot power in him, but it was like, only a smaller part of it was on the surface, something Silver Tiger complimented her for, and decided to explain to her exactly why this match was not going to go in her favor.

In his universe, a Dr. Myuu had had a dream, to create the ultimate fighting machine. A living being, designed from the atoms on up, to surpass even the Creators and Destroyers of his universe. It had taken him millions of years, trillions of test models, but, in the end, he'd created Silver Tiger, and set him loose onto the plane of Universe 8. And oh how it had gone so right for what the Doctor had wanted.

Worlds, seemingly infinite numbers of them, had fallen to him. Militaries, warriors, even the Gods themselves, had blunted themselves on his body, as he took their powers, and made them his own, not as Bergamo had done, but in a way that was even more potent. Each battle had fed him more power, more data, and soon enough, even Liquiir had had to face him, and he'd have been found wanting, save for one thing.

Myuu himself. The doctor had never given Silver Tiger even a name, Liquiir had given him that, and so he had no sense of self, no drive, save to fulfill the Doctor's orders, and Liquiir, sensing this, had done the one thing Dr. Myuu had not counted on. He killed him, simply wiping him out with a Haki attack, literally erasing him from existence, and leaving Silver just standing there, unable to think of anything else to do.

It had taken time for them, with the Supreme Kai, to fix the universe, righting the damage that had been done, but at the end, they'd been left with Silver himself to figure out. Silver, at that time, was beyond their ability to simply destroy, and sealing him away...well, it might have worked honestly, as no one could give him orders, but the Angel, Korn, had seen potential in him, and offered him a place in the God of Destruction's court.

That had been over five million years ago, and since then, he'd gotten to do so much, seen so much, and each experience had given him data, fed to his body, converted into energy. Knowledge was, quite literally, Power to Silver Tiger, and he had seen and learned much over the course of this Tournament of Destroyers, which he smiled about, as he suddenly did several things at once.

As if he were a living record, he did every move, every technique, every transformation shown off, including Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan God, Kaio-Ken, all using Obuni's Quantum power to show it off, creating one version of him to show off each power, until they all collapsed back into his original, scrawny body, leaving him smiling, and offering her the out, as he wasn't honestly sure, with all this new power, he could refrain from hurting her.

Bulla had to stare in awe at the display. Krillin could probably have learned to do all that, but it would have taken him months, maybe years of studying to replicate the things done here. This guy had done it all in seconds, and she doubted he was still 'learning' how they worked, as he seemed in full control of himself. This guy was a monster in battle, and she had to take a step back for a moment, just to take it all in.

She then got into a stance, and smirked, pointing out that he had seen a lot, learned a lot, but some of those powers had drawbacks. She could sense it in him. He was strong, but any flaw in the technique, like stamina drain, was still there, even when he used it. That meant she still had an advantage over him, and as if to show that off, she powered herself up, her aura going pure white.

Silver Tiger, who had looked confident to this moment, had to step back himself, his eyes flickering for a moment, lenses covering them in pure black, before sliding back into the sides of his eyeballs. When they were gone, shock was present on his face, as he declared he couldn't copy what she was doing, his system could tell him what it was, but the ability itself was something beyond them.

She nodded, declaring this was 'Ultimate Form' a gift from a Supreme Kai, one of a kind. Silver nodded, saying his own gift, the lenses she'd noticed, were similar, made of painstakingly gathered atoms from the Angel's Staffs, that allowed him to copy the things he did. He'd seen one or two things in his time he couldn't copy, including a body swapping ability, but this was the first time it had been a form change.

Impressed, he offered to still let her back down, but when she just smirked at him, he smiled back, and suddenly his body exploded with red ki, the power of destruction filling his form. In an instant, what had been scrawny limbs were bulky with muscles, and a chest that was as wide as Bulla was tall, and red eyes that gleamed with power, as he licked his lips, showing a glint of wicked fangs, before he charged.

The moment his foot left the arena floor, he divided, each version of him turning into something different, doing something different, dozens of attacks hitting Bulla at the same moment, and yet, not one connected fully. Oh, some of them hit her, but not enough to even knock her back, the best, a copy of Hit's power, was the one to actually become 'real' an instant later, but he then had to use the same ability, dividing into dozens of selves, to avoid her counter stroke.

Bulla, forgoing subtlety, was instead striking with raw power, her blows creating blasts of wind that rattled Brother Max's box, and sometimes even the larger box that kept the arena separate from the stands of on-lookers. Max himself was shouting excitedly, even standing on his desk as he gave color commentary, listing off what techniques he recognized from the feline, and giving Bulla credit for her skillful counters.

Goku and Krillin, in the stands, had flashbacks above their heads, playing out the final battle between the two of them in the original Dragon Ball series, showing how this match mirrored that. Skill vs Power, though to such a degree here that it dwarfed their efforts. In the arena, the stone construct was soon nothing but rubble, as the pair shot through the air, keeping just above the ground as they danced.

It was soon apparent who would win though. Silver Tiger was strong, massively so, but each encounter was straining him. He was, in fact, stronger than Bulla, that had become obvious, but each blow, each block, each technique, was draining his stamina. Surging with Kaio-Ken every few moves to increase the power gap didn't help him at all, as Bulla's Ultimate Form, while not completely free of strain, was still no harder to maintain than her normal form.

Finally, the pair, with the arena thoroughly destroyed, climbed into the air, and Bulla pulled her hands back in a familiar way, her aura flickering blue, as she goes for a Kamehameha wave attack. Silver Tiger, seeing this, counters with the same, the pair of beams shining so bright that all twelve angels present move immediately, with Whis teleporting into the box and grabbing a surprised Brother Max, as the others use their staves to not only create more layers of barrier around the arena, but also to tint them, so the light wasn't quite so blinding.

The reason became obvious a moment later, as the twin beams shot out, and the moment they connected a bright flash lit space around the whole planet, while Brother Max's box was completely obliterated, along with the innermost layer of the barrier. Worse, cracks were forming in the next, and Whis left Max behind to join his siblings in holding in the sheer scale of the power the two were using against each other.

The second layer soon cracked to nothing, then the third, as the Angels strained against this, all of them commenting on how this was a Destroyer Level of Power from both fighters, while inside the arena, Bulla's clothing, a t-shirt and jeans, were literally blown away, her body shimmering with power to prevent a need for a higher rating to the series, even as Silver Tiger's entire body seemed to turn into energy.

Finally, after almost ten minutes of struggle and back and forth, Bulla won through, her power spiking unexpectedly, and her beam going back towards Silver, who had to use Obuni's technique to dodge out of the way in time, the wave of her Kahmehameha slamming into the barrier behind him, burning a whole straight through it, and then sailing off into the heavens, where it burst like a spectacular firework.

Still, Silver Tiger, watching her, was able to keep himself from falling to the arena, even after he'd lost the contest of power, but Bulla was spent. Everything she'd had had been in that attack, and the other warrior rushed forward, grabbing her as she finally fell to ground, his power creating a cloak around her, and making sure it was his feet that touched it first, giving her the victory, as he pulled out a Senzu Bean from nowhere, and gave it to her.

She was still out of it as she came awake, but the saiyan-human hybrid was ecstatic at her victory, smiling, and even kissing Silver, who blushed, and nearly dropped her as he shrank back down to his scrawny form. Luckily, by that point, Lapis was on hand, and caught her, and before he could say anything, she was kissing him too, much more passionately than the peck on the cheek she had given to other warrior, just to show whom she loved.

As everyone gathered in the arena, fifteen warriors from the Tournament, including a very reluctant 'The Pure One' which insisted its name included the 'The', each fighter bowed the audience, in turn receiving a bow from the Gods of Destruction, and even the Kais of the various Universes, all of whom had not seen the like of this battle in all their time alive, and that covered quite the epoch considering some were tens to hundreds of millions of years old.

Still, even as everyone was celebrating Bulla's final victory, and just the togetherness that came from such a competition, a sudden shout came from Champa, who pointed to one of the cracks near the arena floor, which had a shimmering orange tint to it, revealing that the Nameless Planet, which had existed for eons between Universes 6 and 7 was the final 'Super Dragon Ball' he had been searching for.

His excitement, and going over to Beerus to claim the thing, as, to be fair, he was the first one to notice it, was interrupted when someone else appeared in the air above the arena, clapping his hands and shouting with childlike glee at the preceding events. Above them was a being that was as small as a toddler, with a football shaped head that had a blue section with two purple along the side, while his robes, according to the subtitle, read 'King of All'.

Most of the mortals were confused by the sudden appearance, especially as he was soon joined by two attendants, much thinner, taller beings wearing purple robes that seemed like less intricate versions of child like being's own, and what looked like an Angel, though a bit smaller than the ones they were used to, however, with a halo that seemed a darker shade of blue, indicating something about him.

Then every God of Destruction, Kai, and likewise dropped to one knee, everyone doing likewise, including Goku at Bulla's insistence, as they were introduced to Omni-King Zeno, his attendants, and the 'Father' of all Angels, the Grand Minister. Even Goku, on hearing that, had to let out an impressed whistle, which got his foot stomped by Bulla to tell him to shut up, Beerus complimenting the daughter's intuition.

Zeno, as he descended, complimented everyone who had competed, he'd loved watching the show, and it had given him some real ideas for something he was planning later. Before he could say more, however, the Grand Minister reminded Zeno that, as amusing as it was, they were here for a reason, and Zeno seemed confused for a minute, before suddenly remembering, and floating over towards Champa.

The catman was most concerned as Zeno floated before him, and asked him just what his wish was going to be on the 'Singing Spheres' a.k.a. Super Dragon Balls, and while nervous, Champa revealed he was planning on reviving the Earth of his own dimension, to see if he and his Supreme Kai counterpart could encourage growth in their own universe, the same as Universe 7 had seen over these last few decades.

Nodding, Zeno turned to the Grand Minister, who nodded in turn, and moved his hand, suddenly an Angel's Staff, one far more intricate than those held by Whis and his siblings, appeared in his hand, and he waved it a few times, while he looked through the orb at the center. Finally, he seemed to find what he was looking for, and then made a motion with his instrument, a hum coming from it.

With that, he declared that Earth of Universe 6 had been revived, along with its people, and set back approximately four years from the point of its destruction. That was enough time to repair the social problems they were having, and perhaps elect a new Guardian for the planet while they were at it, as that seat had laid vacant on that world for some millennia even before the destruction had become inevitable.

The Universe 6 God of Destruction thanked Zeno for his generosity, and the Grand Minister requested, as they had been able to fulfill his wish, that Champa relinquish the other Super Dragon Balls to him. The Omni-King had a use for them. Champa immediately agreed, and had Vados, with a wave of her own staff, summoned the other six orbs, all the size of planets into the sky above, the sphere all starting to hum, thus their name.

With all that done, Zeno told everyone what a fun show they'd put on, and he'd hope to see them do it again sometime, maybe even more of them at once, but for now, he would need the world they were on, so he was giving them ten minutes to say goodbye, before he took it back to his palace. With that, Zeno vanished along with his attendants, the Minister smiling as he shook his head at the little man's antics, advising that they should indeed wind this event down, but reiterating what a fun show it had been, before he vanished as well.

This resulted in a comedy sequence as everyone scrambled into the Chariots of the Gods, eventually lifting off just as the Nameless world shattered its outer shell, revealing the Four Star Super Dragon Ball, before all seven of them vanished from sight. The other universes then all get a wave goodbye sequence, before the Universe 7 team heads home themselves, landing on Earth, with Beerus and Whis taking the Kais to their homeworld, saying they had some things to discuss.

The arc ends with everyone happy enough to have gotten to show their stuff, though those who hadn't gone with the four for God Training now had some questions for them, after seeing their power in action. This soon resulted in a quick spar between Goku and Bulla, as Krillin and Lapis watched, laughed, and then joined in themselves, as everyone watched the fighters dance in the sky, ending the arc on a high note.
