Note on Missing Logs:
Due to the Temporal Event present at Site ██α the Logs of prior tests not kept in Off-Site backups have been lost until such time as the Effect has ended. The Exclusion Zone is holding. Luckily, SCP 674 itself was not damaged by the event, and was discovered in MTF-Omega 9's convoy shortly after the Exclusion Zone went into place.
Of note, during the event, one of the the three members of Omega-9 equipped themselves with the SCP object, and proceeded to use the weapon against the so called 'Clock Roaches' that emerged from the Event's epicenter to a fatal effect on the otherwise nearly impervious creatures. It is unknown HOW SCP 674 had an effect on creatures that exist on this pataphysical layer of reality, perhaps somewhat aided by 'The Scrubs' own existence on another layer themselves.
As such, for the first time since the Persona 5 Royal Incident (Which consequently provided the data used to create the armor that allowed Omega-9's egress from the aforementioned Site, and has been instrumental in allowing their rapid deployment in at least 18 operations since), the object will be tested with a prior media, in order to see its effects under different conditions.
Dragon Ball, being the longest and most 'successful' test of the object was selected, as it stands to provide the largest amount of data. It should be noted, while we do not presently have details of them, we do know tests were performed with Orochimaru of Naruto and an unknown antagonist of the series One Piece. Both resulted in fatalities, and as such are deemed too volatile for this test. The former produced a serpentine entity from the media, a 'summoned snake' that was dispatched, and consequently turned into a charged smoke like substance(Anomalous Item ███). The latter simply exploded the viewing device with a force of █.█ megatons.
As always, the Rules established by Dr. ██████ to prevent the media from becoming antagonistic towards our layer of reality are to be followed. Only antagonists or 'villains' of the media are to be targeted, and not in an event detailed to be a 'flash-back', to prevent temporal paradoxes within the fiction itself.
Test 674-23(Extended)
Subject Matter: Dragon Ball(Original Anime)
Target: Commander Red
D-Class selected for this test(A caucasian male of a mixed background and of early middle age) had no prior knowledge of the media in question beyond general cultural osmosis. He was allowed to watch the series in general over the course of the first twenty-nine episodes, and given SCP 674 before the thirtieth in order to proceed with the test, with the instructions to shoot the 'mysterious leader' of the antagonistic force that steals the Dragon Ball.
He proceeded to do so, claiming that he'd never seen a kids show(which he believed the media to be) to be so violent, as the character, Commander Red, was blown clear in half by a rocket, shocking everyone else in the room, and causing them to seal the meeting, down to even recalling teams that were operating in the field at the time to harden the defenses, as there seemed to be no source for the attack.
The following episodes still had a general plot that remained the same, as the forces of the Red Ribbon Army at Muscle Tower had been allowed to hold position. As such, beyond some mentions of the death of Commander Red, and Commander Black taking over, there was nothing significantly different about the arc, until the protagonist, Goku, was captured, and studied in the tower.
This was, in part, due to the demands of an unknown character, who, upon seeing the force the young boy could create, mixed with reports of martial artists with extranormal abilities, wanted to investigate him. The figure, eventually revealed to be Dr. Gero, is disciplined by Commander Black later on, who called the study a waste of time, as they still had to gather the DragonBalls in order to make their wish.
Interestingly, over the next few episodes, other than Black taking Red's place, the only real difference was a few cutaways to Dr. Gero, who went over the data being offered by Goku and the Red Ribbon's own engagements. However, during an event in his lab while his son 'Sergeant Gold', real named Gedo, was visiting, he convinced his father to leave the army, claiming that, with Black in charge, they had less resources, and no real attachment, as Red had been a friend of Gedo, bonding, according to his statements, over a 'Ginger Camp' incident that went undescribed.
Gero, feeling short changed himself, decides to agree with his son, and the pair, telling his assistance(The Parents of Androids 17 and 18's human selves) they're leaving, and encouraging them to do the same, then depart, and the arc otherwise proceeds as normal, as Commander Black faces Goku twice in mechs designed by Gero, once ejecting and getting out of the way. The second being destroyed as the young boy fires a powerful energy attack at the man who refused his mercy, vaporizing him, in a manner similar to Frieza's first defeat in DragonBall Z.
Afterwards, the series proceeds completely without alteration, to the point where several episodes have the exact same animation errors, while others have been altered slightly. After several days of viewing, it is determined to let the D-Class finish the series, believing that the series itself is simply not going to alter significantly, and they can be terminated, with the test deemed a failure. However, at episode One-Eighteen, a new scene is added in, replacing a scene from near the middle of the episode, after King Piccolo decides to destroy West City, via a drawn lot system.
Interestingly, the number drawn is now 18, instead of the original 29. However, King Piccolo still declares he's going to destroy 'Sector 28' where West City stands. Whether this is an animation error, or some kind of joke is not known at this time, though the latter is now implied thanks to the error repeating in the alterations.
Regardless, the scene added in is Gero and Gedo in a lab that is a perfect resemblance to the one seen later in Dragon Ball Z. The pods along the wall that housed the Androids numbered 17, 18, 19, and 20 are not present, instead having several large screens with schematics on most of them, but the central one showing King Piccolo's transmission, and his declaration. Gedo, on hearing it, tells his father it's time to test his 'greatest' creation, to which Gero agrees, activating a humanoid figure with red glowing eyes.
The next episode's events, with Tien Shinhan engaging King Piccolo outside his 'castle', finds the warrior being beaten by Drum, a newly created child of Piccolo. However, in the middle of the beating, a figure, with legs that end in flames rather than feet, arrives, and fires a powerful energy blast, on par, according to Tien, with the Kamehameha, and at first, he turns to the one who fired it, who stands in silhouette, and thinks it is Goku.
When the figure is revealed, it is a woman with red hair, green eyes, and a finger that is smoking, as a port has opened at the tip of it. She identifies herself as 'Perfect 10', as she lands and her feet appear to replace the flames. She then proceeds to lay into Drum in a way that puts Tien's own efforts to shame, beating him like his namesake, and then slicing him in two with her finger beam attack, the two halves, lost in shadow, falling to the sides, as she faces down King Piccolo himself.
Tien attempts the Mafuba, or Evil Containment Wave, technique against King Piccolo during the distraction, but Piano, one of his attendants, intervenes, the move taking him, but Piccolo using his movement to spot the Electric Rice Cooker that Tien was attempting to seal him in, and destroying it by doing something to Piano that caused him to explode with force, the blast knocking Android 10 and Tien to the ground.
When Goku arrives, the two are of little help, as it appears Tien is exhausted from the Evil Containment Wave technique, which would have killed him had it succeeded, but as it failed in mid use, it left him without enough energy to move instead. Android 10's 'Ki Engine' that she uses for her attacks is likewise at minimum, as she had to use a lot of it to protect herself from the blast, but carries Tien off as Goku engages with King Piccolo.
That fight proceeds in almost the exact same way, despite lacking Piano to help at one point, and only alters at the end, as King Piccolo, launching the egg that contains Piccolo Jr.(Later simply called Piccolo for simplicity), gloats, the 'camera' briefly shows a figure grabbing it out of the sky. Afterwards, Android 10 asks to accompany Goku on his journey back to 'The Lookout' which she is aware of, though refuses to disclose how.
Her addition to the journey doesn't change anything significantly, and she arrives with him, showing that her feet 'retract' into her legs in a similar way to the popular 'Astroboy' character to allow her flight, turning her legs into rockets. It is impressive to Goku, who flies using the 'Nimbus Cloud' , a magical object. The pair land on the Lookout, high in the sky and she is introduced to both Mr. Popo and Kami, King Piccolo's Good Half.
The green man and the genie both claim to have seen the battle, and offer to repair the 'Dragon Balls' that King Piccolo destroyed before the day before, lamenting the fact that the egg contains what Kami describes as the reincarnation of King Piccolo, Piccolo Jr. if you will. He believes the thing is lost, but 10 proves his overwatch on the battle wasn't perfect, as she pulls the egg out from behind her back, though how she kept it there, given its as large as her torso isn't commented on.
She, knowing some of what has been offered to Goku somehow, asks if she might make a request of the Guardian of Earth herself, and Kami, said Guardian, agrees, with her asking for her father and brother to be allowed on the Lookout to study them. Not invasively, she is quick to point out, but more…scanning them as they use their abilities, which are unique even amongst users of Ki.
Kami and Popo both agree to this, as neither believes it will result in anything bad, and as Popo repairs the model of Shenron that was destroyed when the dragon itself was killed by King Piccolo, reactivating the Dragon Balls, 10 goes off to tell her family the good news. By the time Goku returns to the Lookout, having gathered and used the Dragon Balls to summon Shenron, making a wish to revive all those killed in the wake of the Demon King's war against the world, the trio of people is already there.
Gedo, wearing a uniform that Goku recognizes as the one used by the Red Ribbon Army, asks him about it. Not on guard, as the large, red headed man doesn't 'feel evil' to him. Gedo explains that he and his father worked for the Army back before Goku showed them how strong an individual could be. Gero, offhandedly as he sets up some kind of console, comments on Goku having already bested one of his creations, the Android 8, otherwise known to Goku as Eighter, as well as a lesser model, Major Metallitron.
Goku is happy to meet his friend's family, which 10 comments on having not met her 'older brother' but Gero tells her she can go and visit him once he's made some adjustments to her Ki engine, which was still not quite back to full, despite more than a day having passed since the battle with King Piccolo. He already has ideas for the Ki Engine, Mark II, and laughs in a way just this side of evil as he begins her 'upgrades'.
The final arc of the series, the Piccolo Jr. Arc, is changed in many substantial ways, as many scenes are altered with Goku interacting with the trio on the Lookout, as well as them interacting with Kami and Popo. The biggest change, however, is that 10 is now his 'training partner' for most of it, the two constantly seen clashing, with one of their final bouts before a time skip actually being strong enough to be felt on the Earth many kilometers below.
When the story picks up after the time skip of three years, to a tournament arc, the cast of others is confused when Goku shows up, not only far taller than he was, almost three times as tall, but also with a woman at his side. She introduces herself, but then says her brothers and her father are coming too, she and Goku just arrived first because they were racing to the finish, as she reveals she's been his partner for the last few years.
Gero arrives before anyone else can say anything, informing that the word 'training' should be put in front of that, and Bulma recognizes him as a leader in the field of biomechanical robotics. Gedo sighs as he arrives with two men who are unknown to the audience, and are introduced as 'the Twins' Androids 11 and 12, who both bow and congratulate their father on finally finding a fan, something the older man literally shakes his cane at them for saying.
Where 10 appears to be a young, red headed woman, and is easily seen to be the 'daughter' of Gero, and Gedo's 'sister' the other two have no resemblance at all, and are, instead, very much similar to Goku in their looks, having a similar hair and build to him. They are also twins, as their identical appearance makes it all but impossible to tell them apart, save for the 11 and 12 written on the uniforms they're wearing.
Upon having the D-Class attempt several drawings of the pair, it was found that, through process of elimination and showing him some art of them, that they are perfect matches for Shallot and Giblet, a pair of saiyans that appear in a video game spin off of the franchise called 'Dragon Ball Legends'. They lack the tails, of course, though, on asking this, it turns out Goku still has his own, for some reason, given he had permanently lost it by this point in the original narrative.
The twins, and 10, along with Gedo, were wearing what was easily identified as slightly modified Red Ribbon Army uniforms, with the symbol of the organization replaced with an omega symbol, around their number. They are soon introduced to Krillin, a smaller bald man, Yamcha, a scarred man with a heavy build, and Tien, another bald man, with three eyes that look them up and down.
The group then detail what is going on, that the others have spent the past three years training to beat Goku, while he, himself, has been training simply because there was training to be had. He details, in brief, Kami's methods, to which Gero scoffs, pointing out that technique was good, but power, that was better, and points out that Goku was almost ten times as strong as he was when he'd fought King Piccolo three years ago, mostly thanks to Gero and his 'children'.
Gedo was quick to correct him, as he was only about five times as strong, and then only for short bursts, but Gero maintained that he could go beyond that. And even if he couldn't, his 'children' were stronger still. The twins having some very strong gimmicks of their own, and 10 herself being his 'perfect' creation, with his latest, Mark IV Ki engine powering her attacks, allowing her to hit levels above anyone else they'd observed.
The group is curious if, given their artificial nature, the androids would be allowed to compete, something that actually brings the older man up short, as he had, apparently, not thought about that, given the tournament, the Strongest Under the Heavens, was one that did not allow equipment, so he and the rest are soon taken inside, and a brief explanation of the trio is had with the tournament staff.
Interestingly, the announcer, who dressed in a business suit and sunglass in sharp contrast to the eastern monk attire the rest of the tournament staff wore, brings out a set of small bowls, which hold candles, passing them out to the three, and then asking them to close their eyes, and imagine a flame. The brothers, to their shock, produce tiny flickers on the candles, not strong ones, but there, but 10 herself creates a full on flame, causing Brother Max, the announcer, to declare them eligible for the tournament.
The explanation, as the candles are put away, is that the tournament is open to humans and others, including spiritual and undead entities, and so the candles test to see if something has a 'spirit' and thus, can be said to be able to fight. The brothers, he notes, are just on the cusp, but there is no difference between anyone in the room and 10 on a spiritual level, something that has Gero asking questions that are answered by an annoyed monk.
Later, during the preliminary matches to test their strength and determine the eight finalists that will fight in front of the large crowd outside, it is shown that Goku, the androids, Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien are top of the heap, tearing through their opponents with seeming ease, and we are shown 11 and 12's unique powers, as they used them liberally in the fights, rather than hiding them away.
11, as it turns out, can convert Ki not only into attacks, but into raw kinetic force, meaning telekinesis. He uses this ability to knock more than one opponent out of the arena without moving, and those that he doesn't have it demonstrated to them that he is no slouch in hand to hand either, executing picture perfect martial arts moves on them that send more than one to the floor in a groaning heap.
12, to contrast, can convert Ki into matter, an ability he uses to not only make plates and weapons, allowed for the same reason as an earlier combatant, Giren, was able to use gunk that came out of his body, because it's being created in the ring. In addition, however, he gets creative, and makes blasts of air, fire, and lightning, directly converting the ki into various elements to make it impossible to hold him down.
10, it would seem at first, would be the odd woman out, as her brothers beat down opponent after opponent, but it is soon clear that SHE is in fact, Goku's main rival when it comes to strength, as the two of them literally overpower their opponents, sometimes blowing them out of the arenas with just their auras, which shocks the remaining members of Goku's friends, who are in awe at just how much he's grown in three years.
When it comes time to the finals, the matches are set between Goku and a mysterious woman in a blue gi with red lining, Tien and 12, Krillin and 11, and Yamcha and 10. The eight combatants meet in the back of the arena, and are excited to see the roster so stacked, as the woman and Goku walk out, with the woman berating him for forgetting her as she takes her place, and the two begin their match.
It lasts longer than an instant only because her accusations keep throwing Goku off, who is finally forced to remember her as being Chi-Chi, the daughter of the Ox King, and a girl who he'd promised to marry one day, though at the time, he'd been ignorant of the meaning of the word. Still, she is quite strong, and after demonstrating her power to him, he does remember her, and the two agree to the ceremony AFTER the tournament, which leads to Chi-Chi losing her rage, and Goku to handily win the match.
Tien versus Android 12 was an interesting setup, as the pair spent almost half an episode staring each other down, before launching into almost perfectly mirror katas against one another, fist hitting fist, and ankles colliding during kicks. The three-eyed man was taken aback by how strong his opponent was, not significantly more than himself, but still strong enough to make it difficult to keep up with him.
Then he let the other shoe drop, as the places where they'd collided suddenly felt heavier, Tien's body feeling like it weighed a ton, as he looked down, and noticed small bands around his wrists and ankles, 12 revealing that, while he couldn't 'project' his creations outward, by touching his opponent, he could make them on him, creating the bindings that slowed Tien enough for him to knock him from the stage.
The next match saw Krillin versus 11, and it was far faster, as the smaller bald man leapt right into the fray, firing off energy attacks, and keeping his opponent off balance for most of the first half of their match, before, 11 rallied, and then, with a smirk, held up his hand and seemed to 'freeze' all of the ki blasts in the air between the two of them, before spinning them all into a single massive ball, and sending it back towards Krillin, who dodged it, only to be knocked out of bounds by the force of the explosion it made.
Yamcha versus 10 was even shorter, not because of Yamcha being the weakest, though he was, but because 10 proved her superiority, pointing out to him that, strong as he was compared to normal men, she was equipped to match Goku, and that was by no means an easy feat. She literally blew the scarred man from the ring with a single punch that struck him in his middle, knocking him away.
The crowd ate all this up, as the matches were quick and 'punchy', every one coming with their own attacks, or in the case of Chi-Chi versus Goku, some nice drama. They were ready for more, and as the next match was announced, they went wild with cheers, as Goku and 12 stepped onto the stage, and then, after a quick bit of banter, surged at each other, crashing together in an explosion of force.
Goku didn't let 12 get close enough to use his touch attacks, instead dodging his blows, and hitting back where he could, forcing openings with superior speed, and even using the arena itself to his advantage, smashing his fist into it to unbalance the android, before upper cutting him and sending him off his feet and onto his back, where he stayed down for a five count, before coming up, and smiling.
He declared himself the winner, as Goku suddenly sagged forward, his hands bound in the same way Tien's had been, the android having been slowly covering them every time they touched him, until now, he was literally carrying half a ton on each hand, and he could barely move, allowing 12 to beat on him for a few moments, telling him it was time to just lay down and take it.
And then Goku screamed, his power spiking, his aura flaring, and he hit the android with his fists again, this time paired with the material coating them, the stuff shattering on impact with 12's body, sending the other man reeling for a moment, before he recovered, and Goku, no longer wanting to get close, fired off a series of ki blasts at him, forcing 12 to deflect them skyward to avoid hitting the audience, before he countered in a strange way.
He whipped out his arm, which grew in length, as if it were unwinding out of his shoulder like a rope, and it twisted around Goku, who was quite shocked, commenting that Piccolo, the son of King Piccolo, had done something like this in their training with him. 12 admitted, it was where he'd gotten the technique from, and with cry, he yanked his arm back, treating Goku like the ball on the rubberband, and his fist was the paddle several times.
Goku eventually turned his head aside just enough to avoid one of the punches, and used the momentum to headbutt 12 in the face, causing the android to cry out, as Goku finally landed on the arena floor, and found that, while he couldn't escape the grapple he was in, with 12's arm wrapped around him several times, he could still move with it, and began to spin in place rapidly.
12 was picked up by the action, not having a chance to try anything else, or extend his arm out farther to perhaps weigh Goku down. Instead, he was taken off his feet, and spun around until he and Goku became a seemingly top in the center of the ring, before finally, 12 was forced to let go, falling to the arena floor, rather than getting tossed out of it, while Goku, spinning a few times afterwards, looked ready to throw up.
Goku fell onto his butt, but 12, for all that he was obviously trying to get to his feet, remained firmly lying down as Brother Max, the announcer for the tournament, did a ten count, and with that, Goku was declared the winner, even though was unable to climb to his feet without aid from Chi-Chi, while 10 came out to help 12, the four of them coming together as they left the arena floor.
The man in the orange gi apologized for going so hard as 12 was brought back to his senses, but the android admitted to deserving the hit, especially since he'd honestly thought it was a winning strategy he had. The pair, having been settled backstage of the arena, shake hands and then watch, if somewhat still dizzy, as 10 and 11 walk out onto the ring floor, the pair bowing to each other, before assuming an odd stance.
Both of them, rather than going into a 'ready' state, held out their hands, palms wide, and then just stood there, making Max and the crowd antsy, thinking, perhaps, something was wrong with them. Then Max reported he could hear a strange popping sound, and felt heat coming from them, and adjusting his sunglasses, let out a cry of alarm, as he jumped backwards, and then began to explain into his mic.
The pair were firing attacks at each other. Not like, one or two, but what he thought might be MILLIONS of them. 10 was small needles of ki coming out of her palm, flying in the air between them, while 11 was obviously countering with kinetic force, the only reason he could see that was the needles deforming as they collided, and exploded in the air, creating the heat he was feeling.
He idly mused he wished everyone else could see it, but then got his wish as the pair, either growing unable to keep up with the rapid dance, or simply wanting to put on a better show, began to make more visible blasts, as golfball sized ki orbs flew from 10's hand towards her brother, only to pop with enough force to start kicking up a good wind, especially as there were hundred of the things still.
Max was suitably impressed with the show, calling it a fireworks display the likes of which you didn't see but once in a lifetime. However, he was also the first to notice as the line of explosions moved forwards slowly, towards 11, as 10 pushed him back, farther and farther, until the wall of flickering lights was mere inches from where he was standing, his body trembling with the strain of it all.
Finally, one got through, exploding on his shoulder. It was a small hit, a tap all things considered, but it was an opening, and suddenly dozens more followed through the gap in his defenses, forcing the other android back, and tossing him out of the ring with a cry, as smoke engulfed his whole form, leaving everyone staring, unable to decide if he was alive or not, before he hopped out of the smoking crater, and dusted himself off.
The siblings were smiling, and 11 complimented his sister for her tactics, before climbing back onto the arena, giving her a bow, and wishing her luck in the final match, which Brother Max offered her an hour break for, but she declined, saying that she was all warmed up, and wanted to give Goku a beating, explaining that in all their years training, they had a perfectly even match record, one she planned to start tilting towards herself today.
Goku, smirking, said she'd have to try really hard to beat him, as he'd been waiting to get the gold at this tournament since he was a child, and he wasn't about to lose for a third time. The Announcer, almost shaking with glee at seeing two fighters who both were about to go all out, was smart enough to step back…and even advised the audience to do the same, before he told them to have at it.
The pair then clashed, not even bothering to throw punches, instead leaping forward, their arms outstretched, and colliding with enough of an impact that there was a brief spark as the air between the compressed until it caught fire, which made the announcer giddy, as he described it for the audience, watching in delight as the pair hopped backwards, and then began to go through a series of intricate punches and kicks.
They are locked in a close range martial arts match for what feels like hours, as their bodies shake and jitter, the air around them literally lighting up with how fast their moving at times, and the people cheering with every impact, before the pair, blown apart by a spark between them, smile at each other, and then take to the air, adding a third dimension to their combat that sees them literally flying circles around each other.
It took a full three episodes for the fight to come to its conclusion, as the two, battered, bruised, and their clothing tatters that were barely hanging on their bodies, gave each other one look, and then charged their Ki attacks. Goku, the classic Kamehameha Wave, a signature attack of his first martial arts teacher, while 10 held out her hands, and all ten digits irised open at the ends, glowing inside.
Blue light clashed with green, as they let loose, and the people below, not scared at all it seemed, began to shout encouragement to the pair, as the beams pushed and shoved at each other, 10's body shaking as she put more and more of her power into the attack, while Goku's form dripped with sweat, as he pushed himself to his absolute, and then with a blast, the struggle ended.
Both combatants fell to the ground, their bodies slamming hard enough into the ring that they were in small craters, and both were exuding smoke. The crowd, hushed to silence, watched as they both shook, and tried to rise, Goku's body looking like it had been through a meat tenderizer, covered as it was in wounds, while 10 herself sparked from patches of her skin that had come off, exposing her insides.
They both shook, heavily, but it was Goku who finally fought his way to standing, and with a gulp of air, made his way over to 10, who looked up at him, gritted her teeth, then gave him the thumbs up, before her eyes went dark, and she fell over, making Goku shout out in surprise, but Gero merely groused that, for all his genius, the young warrior had indeed proven the victor in the contest, as he, and the other tournament participants rushed out onto the arena floor.
It took a few seconds for him to pull a bottle of some glowing stuff, marked with a kanji that read 'Ki' on it, that he poured into 10's mouth. A second later, he eyes lit back up, and she looked up at her father, her brothers, and said a very bad word, complaining that she had been going all out, and Goku had STILL been able to beat her, which got some laughs from them, and the crowd, as she and Goku were both helped to stand, and giving a bow to the crowd.
Goku's marriage to Chi-Chi is mostly the same story arc as the primary iteration, but with one interesting addition near the end, where Goku, on saying he wants to move back to his old home on Mount Pauzu, is instead told that Gero and Bulma both want him to move to West City instead. Bulma had offered a job to the good doctor, and would need test subjects…like ones to fight his androids, to help improve them in the coming years.
Goku was on the fence, not really caring for city life, but Chi-Chi is won over when they mention West City has some of the best schools on the planet, and that any kids they wind up having, an idea that makes the warrior blush, can get one of the best educations. And besides, with Capsule Corps., the company that Bulma's family owns, resources they could build him a state of the art training room, and offer him a salary on top, so he'll be able to buy all kinds of food.
That last pushes it over the edge, and the pair agree to the plan, the group having a lovely wedding arc, with characters they'd met along the way, including not only their friends and family, but Kami and Piccolo as well, the latter wearing an outfit similar to Kami's save that it has the word 'Angel' on it in place of the kanji for 'God'. The ending, as in the original series, with a promise of more adventures to come in the sequel series of Dragon Ball Z.
