The first scene of the second arc picks up right after the final scene of the first, as Bulma, Gero, and Gedo arrive to survey the damage, Bulma being the one to spot the petrified body of Krillin in the rubble. She only does so thanks to it standing in the center of a massive crater, and then flying towards the horizon where the air car's built in power level scanner, along with the androids built in trackers, said they were.

Finding the group, including the two saiyans, standing in the midst of some rubble, they are shocked as Goku is still in his 'Great Ape' form, sitting down, looking very dire, despite the obvious victory. Bulma does understand it cost them, as Krillin being gone is one of those things you can't reverse, since he'd been dead and brought back before, a fact that shocked Gero, whom she berated for having been told that, several times, before, and having forgotten it apparently as one of the flaws in the Dragon Balls.

However, on landing, and rushing out some stretchers for the biological and technological warriors they find out that the battle cost them more than just Krillin. As if it wasn't bad enough to lose a friend like him, they were all injured, the damage Nappa and Vegeta inflicted being quite extensive, as Tien was missing a hand, Yamcha nearly an eye thanks to a piece of rubble, and the androids were in various states of disrepair, only 10 herself not missing a limb or having large holes in her chassis.

The fact that the two saiyans were beaten all to HFIL and back was just not enough in repayment. Even Raditz, who came out of the car to assist Gedo commented that he'd miss the little bald guy. 10 then mentions they lost more than that, as this battle had come down to the wire. Vegeta, not getting his victory, had attempted to blow the planet up, and the Guardian of Earth had needed to step in when they'd simply not been up to the task, Kami giving his life to defend them all.

Yamcha, favoring his left leg, as his right is pretty much shredded, points out what he had at the end of the prior arc. Kami and Piccolo came from this Namekia place, right? All they have to do is figure out where that is, and then they can head out and see if they can borrow their Dragon Balls to bring everyone back. Raditz is all for this plan, pointing out that he could help, as he thought he had an idea of where it might be, as it was on the Frieza Force's 'to invade later' list in his pod's old computer.

Waiting a few minutes for the fake moon to finally end, and Goku to return to normal, they load everyone, including a slowly awakening Nappa as it turns out, into the ship, and fly off. The two saiyans strike up a conversation, Nappa himself sounding…rather lighthearted, considering the circumstances that brought him here. Still, as he notes, he's alive, that's more than he expected to be once he lost a fight, so he's very much willing to cooperate with his captors, just to see if he stays that way.

The group retires to Capsule Corp, where medical pods are set up, based on tech that Raditz' ship computer had listed. In fact these were 'enhanced' with some good old human ingenuity(and analysis of Senzu Beans), to be a bit more effective. They slip the human warriors into them, astonished at the sheer power of the devices, as their bodies are already on the mend, with Yamcha's leg healing before their eyes, and Tien's lost hand growing back visibly.

Bulma notes they're looking good, but by her estimates the humans will be out of action for a few weeks, maybe a month or two, as they suffered a lot of internal damage. Goku, meanwhile, was a bit less torn up internally, and the pod estimated he'd need a few days tops, giving them time to interrogate the two new saiyans, with the help of the first one they caught, which Raditz objects too. Technically he was second, Goku was caught first. He had, after all, met ChiChi by this point.

Regardless, the members of the group soon strap Vegeta to a chair, with the help of Nappa surprisingly, who was well aware his boss was going to be livid when he woke up. And he was quite correct, as the Prince of All Saiyans(4 including himself at this moment) demanded their respect and fear, despite the fact that, as Nappa noted, the human's were now stronger than them, as the loss of their tails weakened them, and worse, they were injured.

Vegeta would hear none of it of course, and even as Nappa was passed a fruity drink by Raditz, who promised to show him what real living was, the Prince continued to rant and rave, refusing even the most basic of questions, finally forcing them to just leave him strapped down as they did what they would without him. Luckily, his cooperation wasn't really necessary, as the computer databases in Nappa and Vegeta's pods easily had the info that wanted.

Sadly, while not encoded, since the Frieza Force was just that arrogant, it also wasn't labeled with the things they wanted to know, so they were back at square one. Luckily, Mr. Popo, the genie like assistant to Kami shows up, having been told what was going on when he asked after the group, and he, along with Bulma, soon go to the mountain range that was the first memory of Kami, from before he split into himself and Piccolo, where he remembered a great insect statue standing.

Bulma quickly identifies the 'insect' as a vessel, and Mr. Popo, with knowledge of Kami's language of Namekian, is able to command it, not only demonstrating a whole new tech base, far different from the engines of the space pods they'd studied before, but also giving them access to the computer, and finding the specific coordinates of Namek, the planet's actual name, which meant a jaunt into space was soon to be on the horizon for the group.

This does result in a discussion on WHO exactly was going to be going, as Bulma points out, she doesn't feel safe on Earth without someone here strong enough to defend it, and it wasn't like the others were in any shape to take on anyone from the Frieza Force who came by. Gero, after some cajoling as he very much wants to study Namekians on their home planet, to see what abilities they might have, is convinced to wait a few weeks before everyone is up and about, before deciding who would go.

During the downtime, he adjusts the Androids, adding in the now tested features of 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 to 10's body as well. Though not as specialized for their roles, she will be his new test bed for mixing abilities, allowing her to perform every action he can get working on them. Better, Goku healing up early allows them to test her upgrades against the saiyan, the month of training, mixed with pushing the pair to the brink and beyond bringing his gains up several fold.

By the time the month-long recuperation of the rest of the cast is done, Bulma and Gero had already decided. Goku, Bulma, along with 10, 11, and 12 would go on the mission. While Gero WANTED to go, a lot, if only to see how his new designs performed in space, he was more than aware that either he or Bulma would be needed with the other group, and in the end, she was the space travel expert. With 12 to make spare parts on the fly, and 11 allowing them to manipulate the outside without EVA, allowing her to keep it in good condition no matter what.

He would instead focus on upgrading the ki engines in the rest of the Androids, having been inspired by the Namekian ship's core on a new design that would be nearly infinite in capacity thanks to an organic component it had. He could even see using that same technique to improve the androids' chassis directly. Not perhaps to the point of being able to 'train' to get stronger like biological life forms, but at least able to take strains for short times rather than breaking as non-organic tech did the moment you stressed it too far.

The group of five were sent off with fanfare that was deserved of mankind's first interstellar mission, even if most people had no idea WHY it was being undertaken. Still, she had messages from the King of the World before they even left orbit about seeing if he could purchase some of those himself, making her smile, as they shot off in the sphere shaped vessel into the void, on a mission to bring back dear friends.

In the original Dragon Ball Z, the time from the saiyan attack and the arrival on Namek was about a month and a half. Here, that first month was spent on Earth, but the trip would take only four days, as they're in an advanced version of the Capsule Corp ship. During that time, Goku would train with 10, 11, and 12 almost constantly, the three pushing him hard under a gravity level that went from twenty times, all that way to one-hundred times Earth's gravity.

They arrived, as it happens, about one week early on Namek compared to the original, and found the planet peaceful and calm, with the natives welcoming them with open arms. The Namekians were, as it turned out, far more like Kami than Piccolo, though the Warrior clan there proved to be impressed with Goku's power, as he had gone from the twelve-thousand of only a few days ago, to well over two-hundred-thousand thanks to the other three's help in pushing himself to his limit. Not to mention some Senzu Beans to heal up between bouts of such.

The Namekians were glad to hear one of their own had escaped the devastation of their world in a solar event, and would gladly allow the Earthlings to use their Dragon Balls, provided they passed the spiritual and mental trials that the elders put on them to prevent overuse of such things. Bulma was confused by that concept, and the Namekians pointed out that using the Dragon Balls too much built up…Karma you could say, and the results of that could be wildly unpredictable.

Still, the group eagerly started their quest, and had four balls, which were almost ten times the size of their Earth counterparts, in hand by the end of the first day, only to suddenly get an urgent message from their comrades back on the blue planet. Five power levels, each stronger than even Vegeta, were on their way to Earth, and while they were preparing, they wanted to know if 10 could use that teleportation ability she learned from King Kai to return to Earth to back them up.

Unfortunately, due to the new scanner installed in her head, which she couldn't turn off, the android proved incapable of using the technique, which required absolute focus and surety of one's place in the universe. With so much data rolling around in her head, it was simply impossible to find that much focus, meaning the group on Earth, Tien, Yamcha, 13, 14, and 15 were very much on their own.

Not that they had been spending the time lying down while the others had gone off. The two humans had been sparring almost constantly with the three androids, who had been upgraded substantially based not only off the fight with the saiyans, but with the new biosynthetic ki engines based off his study of the saibamen, which proved to be even greater than Gero had imagined. With them, while the androids weren't significantly stronger, only double what they had been compared to the three and five times gain of the humans, they could use Kaio-Ken far more effectively, up to times five, though with some strain.

The group went out to meet the five visitors, whom Nappa and Raditz, over a communicator, identified as the Ginyu Force, one of the Frieza Force's most elite units. They were the type of guys they sent in when Lord Frieza himself was busy, but wanted absolutely everyone dead on some mission. The five had been a thorn in Vegeta's side for decades, as he could grow stronger than them via the Great Ape, but technically each of them was greater than him on an individual level.

The five defenders of the Earth, braced for a lot from that description, were taken aback as the five aliens climbed out of their pods on the island they landed on, and then proceeded to do a song and dance routine, before posing in front of them, making the Earth group just stare at them in shock. 15 was very clear that, goofy as they were, the Ginyu Force was no joke, as he listed their power levels out, revealing that even their weakest was ten-thousand, and that was on top of the weird readings he was getting from them.

Captain Ginyu, a large purple alien with black horns, is quick to question the group, wondering which amongst them took down that lout, Vegeta, speaking with a very formal accent and speech pattern. 13, taking the lead here, informed him that it was a group effort, and sadly, cost them dearly, but in the time since, they've grown quite a bit stronger, and he even opines that he thinks they could take his group out with some effort in one on one matches, if he wants to try them on for size.

The purple alien is intrigued by the idea, and the battles are soon drawn, with 13 and Ginyu facing each other here, while the others would go to some nearby islands to face each other. 15 vs Guldo, a small alien, the shortest of the group, green with four eyes. Yamcha vs Recoome, who looked like a large muscular human, with orange hair. 14 vs Burter, a tall blue lizard creature with red eyes, and finally Tien vs Jeice, a shorter white haired, red skinned alien.

We follow each battle in a set of clips that are seemingly inspired by wrestling of all things, as the matches cut back and forth, showing the ebb and flow of the battles, through cuts and 'floating' windows. The Earthlings get to show off their newly acquired strength in each match, while the Ginyu Force show off that each of them is unique in some way, with their own methods of using Ki to enhance themselves or uniquely combat their enemies.

For Guldo, he can stop time, a useful ability, save for the fact that his power level was only about ten-thousand. That was elite level, to be fair, but it wasn't anything compared to his companions or the rest of the group he was facing. Worse, his ability required him to hold his breath for extended periods to make it work, and he simply lacked the lung capacity to hold it for more than a few seconds at a time.

15 was quick to point out these flaws, as Guldo, frustrated, kept trying to hit the purple man. The android simply danced around him, literally hopping up and over the four eyed lizard with ease a few times, and even predicting where he'd go with his time stop, before finally appearing right behind him the moment he came out of another frozen moment, and with a glint behind the sunglasses he was always wearing, he gave him a sharp strike to the back of his head, causing his eyes to roll back, and him to fall to the ground unconscious.

The fight with Recoome was a bit more in keeping with the 'wrestling' tone, as Yamcha and the large bruiser actually traded blows, each noticing the others' names for their attacks, and even smiling as they had fun with it. This actually kept going until they began using 'joke' moves against each other, including tickle attacks, the dance of confusion, and others, evoking the comedy of the original Dragon Ball series throughout their fight, before Ginyu chided his man to get on with it.

Disappointed, Recoome, respecting his opponent's strength, offers Yamcha a big finale, and the other warrior takes him up on it, Recoome firing off his Eraser Gun from his mouth, while Yamcha counters with a Kamehameha Wave attack, the signature move of the Turtle School in which he'd trained with Goku and Krillin. The two blasts, blue and purple collided, causing the sun to appear to dim for a moment with how bright their powers were, as the two pitted themselves directly against each other.

Yamcha, who had been the weaker during most of the contest, but not enough to ensure Recoome's victory, suddenly busts out his Kaio-Ken, having held back on using the technique until now. The power of it causes his beam to simply blow away Recoome's the blast consuming the larger warrior, who emerges, his armor gone, his body covered in burns, and still smiling. Giving Yamcha a thumbs up, he compliments his power, before collapsing in a heap, only a few seconds before Yamcha himself does as well, rising with some effort, and collecting the unconscious body.

The next fight sees Burter facing off against the taciturn Android 14, who can't talk, something the blue lizard man realizes, saying he'll talk enough for both of them, explaining his power is speed. He might not be the strongest of the group, but his species possesses the ability to convert ki into motive force. Essentially, he could literally boost his speed to insane levels without needing to be the best at anything else, something that lets him take down people far outside his own weight class power wise.

He comments on how the Androids don't have power levels according to his scouter, but thinks it's just a quirk of their biology or something, not questioning them being artificial. Still, he wants to test the other man, and is soon zipping around, being nothing but a blue blur around him. 14 stands stoically in the center, and then suddenly moves his arm up, blocking a blow from Burter, and forcing his opponent backwards as he hadn't been expecting that at all.

He comments on 14's reaction speed, and really puts on the turbo to counter, but finds that, even as he zip around him, the other man is able to seemingly predict his every move, frustrating him enough to finally call a halt to the battle, and demanding to know what the deal is. Holding up his hand, he picks up two stones, quickly demonstrating his gravity control as he tosses them, one floating in the air, the other slamming into the ground hard enough to crack it.

Realizing what he's up against, and surmising that he's feeling gravitational waves from when Burter moves so fast, something he nods at, the blue alien is shocked, but then smiles, telling him he'll go all out with this next one, just to see if he can block it, and 14, whose face had been blank the whole time, smiles in return, motioning for him to bring it on, the pair actually laughing to themselves before Burter blasts off with enough speed a shockwave is created.

A tornado forms around the android, as the alien builds up speed, even faking an attack a time or two, getting the desired motion from his opponent, before finally, he leaps high into the air, and then comes down in an overhead strike hard enough that 14 is driven into the ground, cracks spreading along the island until it all but falls apart into the ocean, leaving the alien gasping for breath, only to go goggle eyed as the android rises from the water, still grinning.

Burter comments that he really is built different than anyone he's ever fought before, and then passes out, forcing 14 to catch him in his arms, and then carry him off to safety. They pass by the island where Jeice and Tien are going at it, hard, the pair having started strong, and never letting up, as the red skinned alien with the aussie accent keeps flinging attacks at the three eyed man, who defends himself no matter what angle he uses.

It seems Jeice's claim to fame is ki sculpting, as he uses his ability to generate everything from solid orbs that he smashes into Tien, to full on blades, even knives that he keeps moving around him. Yet nothing seems to break the three eyed man's guard. Even coming straight from behind, while hitting him from both sides, only forces him to grow a second set of arms, a technique he hadn't shown since the days of Dragon Ball, deflecting each attack with a grin.

Jeice becomes frustrated, and begins swearing in aussie…probably. His dialogue is hard to parse even with several rewinds. Still, he's certainly unhappy, and finally just creates one massive blade, several meters in length, that he sweeps in front of him, Tien easily leaping over it, only for the 'blade' to break into a dozen attacks that launch right up at him, Jeice smiling as the three-eyed man holds out his hand to block the strike, before he's lost in a cloud of explosions and smoke.

When it clears, Jeice is shocked to see that Tien is still alive, even if he's beaten all to hell now, his body covered in slashes and burn marks. Breathing heavily, he compliments the red warrior's power, but if that was his best, it wasn't enough, and with a cry of Kaio-Ken, he suddenly surges down, smashing his fist into the other man's stomach hard enough to make blood come from his mouth, and making him pass out.

Four for four, the defenders of Earth drop their opponents off on an island, clapping the ki-blocker anklets on each of them, before flying off to find that Ginyu was still very much up and about. His power level, more than one-hundred thousand, and thus far more than any other opponent, was allowing him to actually damage 13's body, which couldn't quite cancel the whole of the damage being sent against it by his opponent.

Sadly, with their own bodies currently exhausted, it wasn't like they were much help against the leader of the self-titled Force, who was significantly stronger than any of his men. Not that he let their failures get him down, as he took all five on at once, countering Yamcha's techniques, overpowering Tien's strength, breaking the gravitational pull of 14, and simply moving too fast for 15's predictive algorithms to keep up, leaving them on the ground, injured but not dead.

13, seeing his brothers and friends unable to cope, decides it's desperation time, and activates an emergency protocol. The two androids, nodding, soon pull bits of themselves free from their bodies, looking like small cylinders as well as a large computer chip from 15's brain. Without them, the two just sort of fell over, seemingly dead, but 13, catching them, pressed the components into his own body, which seemed to turn into a goo like form to absorb them.

A moment later, 13 screamed, and his body changed, a dark blue color spreading over his skin, and his white-blonde hair turning a dark red color. When he closed and opened his eyes, they had turned into simply yellow orbs, and his expression turned to something akin to absolute rage, as he let out a scream, and shot forward, his aura taking on a violet tint as he slammed hard into the purple man, pushing him back.

Gero, it turns out, was aware of the protocol, after all, it was his idea, but he'd never finished it. Linking Ki Engines together the way they were doing he'd theorized would have an exponential multiplying effect on their power. The big thing was that he'd never gone beyond the 'theory' stage since none of their bodies could handle that strain, or so he'd thought. 13 and his brothers had apparently out thought him, however, utilizing the kinetic canceller in 13's body to hold it together.

Barely, it should be noted, as the blue shift to his skin was a sign that it was literally trying to tear off his form, but for the moment, it would work, and the now silent warrior tore into Ginyu, breaking one of his horns off in the struggle, and leaving both combatants covered in marks as they finally broke apart, the Captain laughing, complimenting his opponent's sheer drive to win this one, and then, to the shock of everyone, stabbed himself in the chest with his own fist, driving it through his torso.

He pointed out they had yet to ask what trick he had that allowed him to command this force of his, as it would have gone to another and left him as simply a strong man on his own. But no, he had a technique too, one unique beyond all others, and he smiled as he opened his mouth, raised his arms to the sky, and screamed to the heavens two words that rippled through the air. 'Change Now!'

A beam soon connects the android and the purple alien, images of the two of them flashing behind each other for a moment, before they all but collapse. It takes a moment for them to seem to get their bearing, but as he rises, Ginyu's accent changes to the southern american one that Android 13 had, and both Tien and Yamcha, not being idiots, immediately realize what happened, as the tall, blue body of the upgraded 13 starts to laugh, flexing his fingers, and then without a word, poking the ground beneath him.

An explosion of force comes from that simple action, and Tien is forced to grab the still disabled 14 and 15, while Yamcha grabs 13 in Ginyu's body, commenting that this looks bad to his friend, who notes that it would look that way, but looks can be deceiving, and asks him not to repeat what he's about to say to Goku. He shouts over towards his body, drawing Ginyu in it to look at him, before he begins to rattle off a series of seemingly nonsense words, transcribed below.

'Monkey, ook ook, gimme nana, banana ook eep!'

The moment he's done, Ginyu in 13's body starts to seize up, his form twitching and jerking at random, before the borrowed pieces of his brothers fall from him, and then float back over to the two disabled droids. Sadly, they can't simply be slotted back in, as Tien has no idea where in particular they go, but takes hold of them, as 13's body transforms back to its normal state, and then drops like a rock out of the sky, landing, seemingly frozen in a hunched over position, back on the island below, creating a crater.

13 in Ginyu's body reveals that he and the others were…not as confident as their father in their ability to control themselves. Their personalities WANTED to help people, but the power they had, it could easily intoxicate them, so each of them had, without Gero's knowledge, programmed in three types of shutdown codes into their bodies. Audio, visual, and radio types, just in case they thought to block the other two, given doing all three would leave them blind anyway, and thus largely impotent.

Gero, hearing this as they haul 13, 14, and 15's bodies to him, where the other Ginyu are waiting, is furious at his children. They should trust their father and his designs more, but Yamcha points out that it was a big help this time, since it saved them a fight with an opponent they probably couldn't have beaten, which Gero points out is ALSO something he doesn't approve of, his children modifying their schematics like that…but he admits after grousing that they did good, and he'll be trying to figure out a way to restore 13 to his proper body.

They are soon contacting Bulma and the others on Namek, where they'd gotten one more ball to add to their collection, missing only Elder Mori and Grand Elder Guru's now, who's tests of their spirit would be the most taxing. Bulma is elated to hear that everyone survived, and even more so that Gero is already working on modules to install in the androids to give them powers like what the Ginyu Force had, not wanting to make a whole new model for each, since really, they're just conversion abilities, similar to 11 and 12's already potent powers.

However, even as she receives the upgrades over their connection, the Ginyu Force members…mostly Recoome and Guldo, with a somewhat reluctant Jeice being cajoled by Burter to help too, had provided them all the info they had on the Frieza Force's deployments over the galaxy. Most interesting was that Lord Frieza himself, the Emperor of all he surveyed, was on his way to the sector Namek was in, and while they couldn't confirm, they suspected he was going to be a problem for them shortly.

That revelation, and the idea that he was hundreds, if not thousands of times stronger than the Ginyu Force and Vegeta combined, was enough to nearly get Bulma to request the balls now, and they could just wish everyone somewhere else in the galaxy. Goku told her that wouldn't work, however, as they'd only be able to save one world that one, Earth OR Namek, considering Frieza knew where they were at the moment. Worse, he probably wouldn't stop hunting them if they slipped his grasp now.

No, they had to face him, head on. At least now, they knew he was coming, and he was sure with Gero's upgrades to 10, 11, and 12, along with Goku's own training, they'd be able to take the tyrant down. After all, they'd not met a foe that was so strong that they couldn't at least hurt him before, right? Bulma, not nearly as confident, agrees, and even has the Namekians scatter the balls they'd gathered, while advising the population to hide as best they could, while she worked on installing the new modules in the androids.

The Namekians, both agreeing with the idea that running from a tyrant like Frieza would only result in them being hunted, and also wanting to train with Goku, do so. They even take him to the Grand Elder, who, after some cajoling from Bulma about his damn pride, allows Guru to 'unlock his potential' a power increase that maximizes the gains he's been making, causing his power level to climb to unfathomable heights, even if he wishes he'd earned that power himself through hard work.

Still, he's actually glad for it, as it takes Frieza only three days to arrive, the contingent of warrior Namekians, Androids, with Goku, led by Nail, the personal guardian of Grand Elder Guru, meet the tyrant, who arrives in a floating hover throne, black horns and a purple/pink design filling his seat, and he looks shocked at getting such a welcome. His right and left hand aliens, Dedoria and Zarbon respectively, one a purple/pink spiked creature, the other an otherwise human looking gentleman save for his blue skin and green hair, opine that, perhaps, they have come to surrender.

Nail debases them of the notion, pointing out that, thanks to other sources, they'd heard Frieza was coming here, and they were here to ask him to leave. They would upgrade 'ask' to 'force' if he proved unreceptive to the request. Still, Frieza is actually curious, given only a select number of his best men, almost all of whom are with him now, knew of his mission to this backwater location. How exactly did they learn of it?

Goku is the one to spill that the forces Frieza sent to Earth had been defeated, and one of them had informed them of his coming, which caused Frieza to raise an eyebrow, floating his throne down a little, and asking his minion to see what the power levels were. Dedoria steps up, claiming she'd find out just how strong everyone here was, only to be shocked as the scouter she was using blew up after less than a second of scanning the crowd, causing Frieza to actually start laughing, covering his mouth with his hand.

Finally, he ordered his minions back into the ship. They would be useless in this fight, after all, and he abhorred unnecessarily wasting his resources. Climbing out of his hover throne, he rolled his shoulders, cracked his neck, and proposed that the people before him give him what he wants. After all, he has been a good sport and removed his people from the board. Besides, all he really will wish for is something simple if he gets those wishing spheres.

When pressed, he says he's after what ALL people are really after in this universe. Immortality. Some pursue it through their children, others through great acts. And to be fair, his species lives a long time, but even that is a blink in the eyes of the universe. So, give him his wish, and he will simply depart. He'll even take this planet with its…lack of anything resembling resources his empire needs, and Earth off his list of to be invaded planets. Neither would be worth more than his prize.

To be fair, they'd be tempted to give it to him, if they didn't know his reputation from his minions. After all, Nappa said it was Frieza who destroyed the saiyans, people who had served him and his family faithfully for generations by that point. Frieza, seemingly confused for a moment, snaps his finger, acting like he'd forgotten all about the species in the twenty and some change years they'd been extinct.

He pointed out that while he had been good to the saiyans, ensuring their planet was filled with the luxuries they craved…mostly food and drink to be fair, but more than a hundred times what their population number would normally need given what bottomless pits they were, but he'd gifted them technology the likes of which they'd have never develop on their own, and even seen their star in the universe rise until they came to the attention of those far above their station.

And how did they repay him? They plotted rebellion. It was most disheartening, actually. He had been fond of them, and their brutal ways. When they took a planet for him, it was a treat to watch. However, King Vegeta, the Prince's father, had always chafed at having someone above him, and the rest of the species spent their time pushing against what few boundaries he'd laid out for them. Honestly, he was shocked it took them this long to earn death at his hands.

Still, if they weren't willing to concede to his demands, he would 'encourage' them to do so personally, and smiled as he suddenly powered up, his aura flaring out, and his body shining with malice, before he surged forward, his arm curling back, as he readied to land a blow on the nearest Namekian, that being Nail, who smirked at him, causing Frieza to look shocked, before the green man slammed his fist into Frieza's chest, causing the tyrant to fly backwards, nearly hitting his own ship, and making him growl as he stood up.

Zarbon, over the speakers, asked if his master required aid, but Frieza, standing up, regained his composure, and wiped a small bit of blood from his lips, before shaking his head. He ordered the ship to wait in orbit…maybe a bit away actually. As it ascended out of view he floated back to stand before the gathered defenders of Namek, complimenting the power of their greatest warrior, before he crouched down, screamed, and then…changed, his body rippling with power.

For a moment, his armor crackled, as lightning played over it, before shattering completely, and his horns, formally pointed outward, turned up, giving him an almost demon like visage as he stood upwards, and kept going up, his body swelling and expanding until he stood almost twice as tall as he had a moment ago, with far large muscles, and power that sent several of the Namekians in the group of defenders backing away a step, as they felt it.

One-Million was the power level he gave for the form, and 10 claimed it was closer to nine-hundred-thousand, but yeah, it was pretty substantial. Worse, Nail, for all his training in the past few days, was no match for it. The Namekian was actually logical about the idea of Frieza being better than him, and stood aside, placing his hand on Goku's shoulder, and encouraging the saiyan to finish this monster, before he and the others flew off, leaving only the black haired man, and the red haired android.

The tyrant laughs, pointing out that they have nowhere to hide on this planet, and we will personally blow away any vessel attempting to leave this ball of water and mud. Goku assures Frieza that, like him sending his men into orbit, they're only moving away because this is about to get very violent. Then, without a word, Goku powers up, and even Frieza goes wide eyed, seeing the power he's up against, not able to sense the energy, but able to see the way it causes the world to flow around the saiyan.

The next moment, the pair are engaged, Goku and Frieza trading blows with enough force that the air around them ripples, creating small pockets of vacuum that then rush to be filled, causing them to look like they were creating small black holes with every exchange. When they finally come apart, the pair look covered in dust, and for a heartbeat, it might seem that they were evenly matched, but then Frieza had a coughing fit, and stumbled down, his skin showing several bruises, while Goku was barely touched as the dust finally settled.

Frieza admitted he was impressed with this saiyan, and he almost regretted the circumstances that had forced his hand in destroying his pathetic race. Still, he had a reputation to uphold, and now that he'd seen what Goku was capable of, he forced him back with a shot against the ground, and then, before Goku or 10 could intervene, he transformed again, his had elongating, and his limbs lengthening, becoming something akin to a xenomorph from the 'Alien' franchise, who smiled evilly at the pair.

He then began another assault against Goku, and this time they really were evenly matched, with the slight edge going to Frieza, who leveraged that for all it was worth, as he tossed the saiyan around, spearing at him with his tail, and using his longer limbs to get deep, powerful blows against the warrior, even slamming him hard into the ground, before pummelling him with ki blasts that left Goku's gi in tatters, and his body covered in burn marks.

It was Goku's turn to compliment the tyrant, who had honestly expected his three-million power level to be enough to deal with him all on its own, and Frieza, smirking eerily in his third form, asked if that meant he had one of those silly little fake moons to use, which would not only drain a lot of his own power, but was also useless against someone who knew the trick and could counteract it.

Goku, however, told him that while that sounded cool, he hadn't learned that one yet. His trick came from Other World, and was a bit more versatile. He then screamed Kaio-Ken, to which Frieza, curiously, asked 'Kaio-What?' before finding Goku's fist impacting his face, sending him flying away from the battlefield like a cannonball, slamming into a mesa nearby with enough force to split the rock clean in two, and leaving him to rise out of it shock evident on his face.

Now he sounded genuinely angry, asking what that was, as he'd never encountered a skill that could just double someone's power like that had done, and Goku smiled, telling him it could do more than double, as he shouted Kaio-Ken times two, and surged again, this time going into a full routine on the alien, as his magenta aura flared around him, making 10 wonder if she really needed to be here now, as Goku seemed to have this whole situation well in hand.

Frieza, meanwhile, coughed up blood, and then glared at the saiyan, before acknowledging his power. He'd not had a reason to do this next trick for some time himself, and he hoped Goku understood the honor it was to view what he was about to do next, as he flared out his own aura. Suddenly, the sky turned dark, as clouds began to gather from all over the planet, and the seas around the islands churned, tossing like they were caught in a storm.

Frieza's form began to grow cracks in it, and 10, in desperation, ordered Goku to kill the bastard before he could finish, but Goku was unable to move against the pressure waves coming off Frieza's body, allowing the tyrant to smash the form around him, revealing that, in some way, his body had been a suit of sorts around his real form contained deep within, a bulbous headed thing, with purple jewel like grafts on his grey skin, and piercing red eyes.

Frieza commented on this form being special, his true self, which was so strong that he rarely had reason or opportunity to wear it. Still, Goku had pushed him this far, and asked him to go all out against it, causing the saiyan to immediately leap to Kaio-Ken times five, the strongest variant of the technique he could sustain. And yet, his fist was stopped, caught by Frieza's own hand, and held there as the alien stared at him, smirking with a chuckle.

Now that he was in this form, less than half its full output was necessary to put Goku in his place, and he proceeded to smash into the saiyan into the ground repeatedly, Goku forcing himself into Kaio-Ken times twenty, the current limit of his ability with it, but even that proved incapable of felling the tyrant, who merely seemed amused by the sudden boost, and just kept wailing on Goku.

10 was desperate to help, but if her power level hadn't let her intervene with Frieza's third form, it sure wasn't going to be enough to do more than distract the fourth one. Worrying, she finally tried out one of her newest powers, using mind to mind contact with not just Goku, but several of the Namekians and Bulma. The desperate convergence of minds eventually results in an equally desperate plan, as Goku remembers King Kai taught him more than just the Kaio-Ken.

With the idea in mind, 10 herself leapt into the fray, using 13's power as a kinetic canceller, mixed with Recoome's species ability to convert ki into raw endurance, she took on Frieza herself, as Goku tagged out, and went towards the edge of the battlefield. He raised his arms in the air, and with his spirit reached out to all the plants, animals, people, and even worlds and stars inside the Namekian system, begging them for just a smidge of energy that he began to collect and shape.

10 meanwhile, was resisting Frieza as best she could, but her abilities were simply not up to the task, as the alien effectively beat the stuffing out of her, confused when she began to spark and shake when he laid in a particularly hard blow to her shoulder, revealing her artificial nature. This intrigued the Emperor enough to ask after how she was able to do what she did, with 10 herself praising her father's genius in the construction of her and her brothers' bodies.

The tyrant noted that he would have to take Earth personally, then, if their people were able to build things like 10. She was an impressive feat of engineering, and with his resources, mixed with her design, Frieza would have an unmatched army. 10, of course, asserted her father used his genius for the betterment of the world, but Frieza pointed out he wanted a better world too. For him first and foremost, but he wasn't against allowing those under him to have good lives.

10 reminded him they'd had time to talk with Raditz and Nappa, and saw what 'good lives' his minions lived, which Frieza was quick to say was just saiyans telling tales again, but it was plain as day he was lying, as he walked up towards her, prepared to finish her off, only to have something glare up at him from below. A reflection, on the water, of a fourth sun in the sky, this one a shimmering blue, and looking up, Frieza was in awe to see a mass of energy, the size of the planet, hanging in the air.

10 was almost as shocked as Frieza, having not anticipated the sheer scale of the thing, as the ones Goku had made on King Kai's planet had fit in his hand. She recovered from her shock faster, and with a cry, using Burter's speed, she was able to get behind Frieza, and grab him in a full nelson, curling her arms up, and holding him in place, telling Goku to fire that thing now, while they still had a chance, and Goku, nodding, knowing what she was planning, loosed the sphere.

From orbit, the view shows the orb slowly descending on the pair right beneath it, Frieza struggling to pull himself away from 10's grip, and the android, even as breaks appear in her skin, refusing to let him go. The ship, observing all this, moves back from the world, not sure what to do, as even if they got in the way for their lord and master, this was simply too much for their vessel to take, but they kept sensors trained on the spot, watching in the monitor, as Frieza, 10, and the whole of Namek were eclipsed by the spirit bomb.

A flash, brighter than the explosion of a star lit space around the pale green orb, and when it was over, the planet was scarred. A deep hole in its surface, the seas rushing in to fill it, leaving them staring in awe, Dedoria saying no one could survive that sort of hit, while Zarbon insisted it had to be a trick of some kind. Nothing in the universe was as strong as their master, after all.

On the planet, Goku was gasping for breath, his body looking all but drained, and his face one of concern as he slowly settled on the ground, calling out for 10, looking desperately about the world for her, and finally, spotting something, he forced his tired body into the air. A slow trip over saw him grab 10's extended arm, and then he flew her towards the nearest chunk of rock, the two spilling out onto it, landing in a heap, and laughing.

The android is in bad shape, most of her skin having peeled off to reveal the electronic bits beneath, and her face being 'Terminator' like with one half gone, revealing the metal endoskeleton. Still, they are alive, and their enemy isn't. Much as Goku hadn't wanted to kill anyone, and had wished Frieza would have just backed down, he was okay with this outcome, and after a few minutes spent recovering, he had 10 loop her arm around his neck, and started to fly off.

The pair got less than four meters into the sky before they were blown out of it, a wave of pressure forcing them down, and they turn around, shocked as 10's sensors and Goku's senses tell them that this wasn't over. Frieza, missing part of his left arm, his tail, and having a burn mark over the left eye that seems to have damaged it permanently, is breathing heavily, but very much alive. He also looks quite put out with the pair, raising his finger and trying to shoot them.

10, seeing what's coming, tosses Goku back to the ground, and then takes the shot full on, her body consumed by a flash of red light, leaving nothing but dust behind, as Frieza, coming off his fury, takes a deep breath, and finally speaks. He comments that he never expected anyone, let alone a tin can or a saiyan, to be able to damage him this much. He'll have to spend weeks in a healing pod now, but before he naps, he'll make sure he has sweet dreams of killing these two, and this whole planet, having all but forgotten his original immortality goal.

Goku, barely hearing him, walks over to where the few scraps of 10's body fell to the ground, looking through a small handful of processor cables, and even a single microchip. He knows it's not her core processor though, having seen that when Gero worked on her a few times. 10 was gone. And he wasn't sure even the Dragons could bring her back. That thought sparked through his mind, along with the loss of Krillin and Kami, and he let out a roar that shook the horizon.

It was Frieza's turn to be pushed back by the pressure, and recovering, he stared in awe as flecks of golden light spread through Goku's aura, his body standing still, as it seemed to absorb every bit of the strange lights into his skin. The alien, muttering something about Super Saiyan, fires beams of ki at the target just standing there, but is shocked as none of his shots seem to find the mark. They weren't being dodged, they were just…missing him, like his very presence was twisting them out of the way.

With the ending of the roar, Goku's aura exploded with gold, his hair turning into the same color, as he closed his eyes, and finally opened them, revealing they'd turned into a chilling blue color. Frieza, staring into them, declares he doesn't care if the monkey HAD fulfilled some ancient prophecy of his people, he would still die at his Lord's hands, and with that, Frieza fired blasts out at the ground around him, causing them to detonate right beside Goku, and covering him in the explosions.

And yet, none of them so much as touched him. His body, torn and battered from earlier, seemed to part the sea of flames coming up around him as he ascended into the sky, and stared at Frieza, declaring that he would remove him from this universe. The two then clashed like never before. Their blows shock the heavens, the clouds parting around them, and brief glimpses of a starry sky could be seen as the air itself was blown clear with every exchange.

It was obvious that Frieza was on the losing end here. Goku's power was lower than it would have been had he transformed like this earlier, but lacking a limb, and with injuries already covering him, Frieza was not in good condition either. Even when he went into his full power form, bulking up, he was unable to quite match Goku, who continued to pummel him. Finally, pushed to his limit, Frieza pulled out his trump card, and fired a blast straight towards the planet, declaring that he would destroy it all.

The blow rocked the world, and Guru, sensing it, ordered the Dragon Balls brought to his home, telling the other Namekians to make ready for them to leave. Bulma was clear she wasn't happy with this decision, neither was Nail for that matter, but Guru was quick to point out, this world was now doomed. He could feel the core churn and cry out in pain. It would explode in minutes, and that was an event none here could survive.

Bulma hoped Kami and Krillin were okay in the Other World, but agreed. Guru comforted her with some knowledge that they had apparently not been clear on. Their Dragon Balls allowed for more than a single wish. They would transport everyone on this planet to…Earth seemed the safest at the moment, with the first and with the other two they could revive the young woman's friends. Once they were safe, then, with Kami's own set, they could repair the damage done by Frieza to this, and many other worlds.

The scene shifts back to the pair, brawling still. Frieza is frustrated, pointing out that if he'd done that from the start, he'd have blown the world itself away in the blink of an eye. Now it will take several minutes for this planet to realize it was dead, and blow itself to kingdom come. He then asks Goku to keep him entertained until then, as he will survive the death of this world, his species being capable of living in the vacuum of space. His ship will return, and he will leave behind a graveyard, before claiming the Dragon Balls of Earth for his wish.

Goku mocks Frieza for thinking he'd let him live that long, but Frieza points out, neither of them is significantly advantaged here. He was, honestly, curious if Goku could have beaten him had they both gone into this fight fresh, but he was certain now that there was not enough left in him to take out the tyrant before the world died. However, before they could test that theory, the sky turned dark, not with clouds, but simply like the world itself had been transported to another space.

In the distance, a glimmer of golden light appeared, just as shiny as Goku's own, and out of it emerged a gigantic green being. For a moment, Frieza thought it was some kind of super weapon the locals had been sitting on until it was too late for them, something that had happened more than once. But Goku smirked, telling him it was simply the dragon, summoned by the Dragon Balls, and his friends were likely making a wish right now.

Frieza, growling in frustration, finds Goku blocking him at every turn, and finally, as the world starts to explode around them, pillars of molten lava dancing into the sky, Goku is teleported away in a flash of light, leaving Frieza to scream into the heavens, before the world he was on detonates around him. The magnitude of the blast reached out into the system, disrupting the flight of Frieza throne ship, before it moved into the debris of the planet to retrieve its master.

On Earth, the group arrives in a secluded forest area, with Goku recounting, sadly, what had happened to 10 to the rest of them, causing 11 and 12 to wish they'd stayed, but only their sister had been installed with the powerful secondary modules. They couldn't have helped even if they had been there. And luckily, as it turned out, bringing back Kami did indeed bring back Earth's own Dragon Balls, with Krillin coming back as well, having spent the month training with King Kai and mastering a few techniques of his own. They then had Kami modify the Earth Dragon Balls for two wishes, so they retained the ability of multiple revives at once, compared to the Namekian's three which could bring back a single person.

In short order, 10 was brought back once more, and with the final wish, Bulma, knowing Frieza was still out there, wished not for the tyrant's death, a wish beyond the power of even the Namekian dragon, but instead that Earth's location was erased from every database and backup that Frieza had access to. The logic being that without that information, he'd be stuck looking for Earth for centuries, given how big space was.

That gave them time to prepare, and while Gero was angry that he only had a few cursory scans of Frieza's biometric data, he was very excited about the things from the Ginyu Force. Mixed with the stuff on the Namekians, he was planning on a whole new chassis for his creations, a new level of biomechanical beyond even his Perfect 10's body. He cackled like a mad scientist, which made a few people nervous, but he was quickly shuffled off by his son, saying he'd keep him from going too far with it.

In the meantime, the Namekians, rather than going to find a new world, or wishing for one, were invited to stay on Earth. They numbered only two-hundred after all, and there were plenty of spaces on the planet where they could live in peace, with Kami saying he would be delighted if they'd stay, which Grand Elder Mori, who had taken the position after Guru had passed on, was happy to accept, eventually building a colony on an island off the coast of West City.

The Earth moved on, the people changing in many ways, as the knowledge that the stars had predators amongst them made its way through the upper echelons of power, but for now, peace reigned. In those stars, however, a recovering tyrant was quick to demand something of his scientists, showing them what had been his downfall as much as the legend of the Super Saiyan, and telling them that they had best make use of this information to…improve his odds the next time Goku and his friends made themselves known.
