THIS TAKES PLACE IN THE SEASON THREE EPISODE 'MY SON BO HOGG'. THIS PART IS IN BETWEEN THE TIME WHEN BOSS HOGG TELLS BO THAT THE DUKES ARE HORRIBLE AND WHEN BOSS AND ROSCO LEAVE BO TO TAKE NAP AT THE BOAR'S NEST. ALSO I RE-DID THE END OF HOW HE GETS HIS MEMORY BACK. TAKES PLACE IN 1981, SINCE THAT IS WHEN THIS EPISODE WAS. OCD LETS ME NOT PUT THE AGES BC THIS IS FROM AN EPISODE, IDK WHY THAT IS BUT I'M THANKFUL FOR IT. ANYHOW I DON'T OWN THE DUKES.

'Daddy' Hogg and 'uncle' Rosco had just forced Bo into the barber's chair to take a nap, and they were about to leave, when Bo stopped them.

"Daddy, uncle Rosco?" Bo started, fear in his voice.

"What is it, sonny?" Boss asked.

"I uh, can't breathe..." Bo wheezed. Since Bo had amnesia, he didn't know that he had asthma and had no idea what was wrong with him.

Dang it, what to do now? Boss thought.

He's just faking. Rosco went to his default thoughts, and then remembered that Bo had no idea who he was, he'd have no reason to fake an asthma attack. He probably didn't even know that he had asthma.

"What's the matter with me?" Bo wheezed, grabbing at chest.

Boss just stood in silence. He hadn't counted on Bo having an asthma attack while he was 'borrowing' him and he had no idea what to do. Rosco had seen Luke help Bo many times and decided to see if he could.

"Take it easy, Bo, I'm gonna help you." Rosco knelt next to the barber's chair.

"Whassa matter with me...?" Bo wheezed, leaning his head back in an attempt to get air.

"You've got asthma, is all." Rosco dug through Bo's pockets until he found an inhaler.

"Good idea, Rosco, good idea." Boss came over closer to watch. Rosco put the inhaler in Bo's mouth.

"Take as deep a breath as you can on three. One, two, three." Rosco released the medicine and Bo did as Rosco had told him to.

"Is that any better?" Rosco asked.

"A little." Bo panted.

"Alright, you should have some more." Rosco handed it to Bo.

"What was the matter with me?" Bo asked after he caught his breath.

"You have asthma, sonny, we forgot to tell you. But you're alright now?" Boss asked.

"Yeah, I think so." Bo leaned back in the chair.

With that, Boss dragged Rosco out to the car and they were on their way.

THE REST OF THE EPISODE PLAYS OUT AS NORMAL UNTIL THE PART WHERE THE DUKES HAVE FOUND BO AND THEY HAVE HIM LAYING ON THE GROUND AT THE END:

Luke had Bo laying on his knees. Jesse had just arrived and the three Dukes were trying to bring Bo around.

"Here we go." Luke whispered as he saw Bo's eyes flutter open. Then they all heard a cough, which lead to wheezing.

"Daddy, uncle Rosco?" Bo wheezed.

"Ah, great." Luke rolled his eyes and pulled an inhaler out of his pocket, putting it in Bo's mouth and using it.

"Uncle Rosco?" Bo wheezed, trying to sit up.

"Take it easy." Luke held him down and continued to use the inhaler.

"Where..." Bo wheezed, attempting again to get up.

"Stop it, lie down." Luke ordered, restraining Bo to the ground.

After a spell the inhaler'd done its job and Bo was breathing normally.

"Dukes?" he asked as he sat up.

"Can't we talk for just a minute?" Luke asked.

"Where's my daddy's van, where have you taken me?" Bo shouted, standing up. Luke sighed and looked at Jesse.

"Bo, listen. My name's Jesse Duke. I'm your uncle." Jesse stated calmly. He sounded so sincere and that was because it was true. Bo had a hard time not believing him.

"My daddy told me that-"

"That man ain't your daddy." Jesse interrupted him.

"What do you mean?" Bo became irritated again.

"I mean that that man ain't your daddy, Bo. I'm your uncle Jesse and these are your cousins Luke and Daisy. You don't have parents, you grew up with us on the Duke farm. Your name is Bo Duke." Jesse explained.

Bo just looked at them, trying to tell if they were lying or not. Luke stepped towards Bo and showed him is right hand.

"See that scar there? You look at your right hand and ther'll be one just like it." Luke said, and Bo did find the identical scar on his right hand.

"You and I did that when we was young'ins. We cut our hands and rubbed 'em together so's we could be blood brothers." Luke explained. "Why else would you have the same cut that I have?" Luke reasoned.

"My names Bo Duke?"

"Yes it is." Daisy stated firmly.

"We can go into town and ask the towns people if you like." Jesse suggested.

"Bo Duke?" Bo asked again.

"Yes, Bo Duke." Luke smiled.

"Everyone's tellin' me my names something different. How I am suposed to know who to trust?" Bo asked.

"We can go into town like uncle Jesse suggested and ask the towns people what your name is." Luke brought it up again.

"And pretty soon, you'll remember who you are anyway." Daisy smiled.

"Alright, lets go on into town and see." Bo sighed.

"Alright, why don't you ride in the General Lee, it might jog your memory." Luke suggested.

"General Lee?" Bo looked at him.

"The General Lee is just about the fastest car in Hazzard. You and me built him up from nothin'." Luke showed him the car.

"Looks smart. We built this thing?" Bo ran his hand over the hood.

"We sure did." Luke replied.

"Wow." Bo looked over the car that he loved so much like he'd never seen it before in his life, but he still loved it.

"Get in, let's go." Luke climbed through the driver's window.

"Like a NASCAR?" Bo laughed.

"Yeah, the doors are welded shut." Luke explained.

Bo jumped in and they were off.

Once they arrived in town, Luke took Bo into Rhebottom's general store.

"Mr. Rhebottom, can we have a few minutes of your time?" Luke asked.

"Sure, what is it?"

"He has amnesia and he don't trust me to tell him what his name is. Would you tell him?" Luke asked.

"Sure thing. Your name's Bo Duke, son." Mr. Rhebottom replied.

"Ya see?" Luke looked at him.

"Maybe I really am Bo Duke..."

"Of course you are, ask anyone in town!" Mr. Rhebottom said.

"Thanks Mr. Rhebottom!" Luke waved as they left.

"If I'm Bo Duke, than why did J.D Hogg tell me that I was his son?" Bo asked once they were in the car.

"J.D Hogg is our county commissioner. He owns just about everything in Hazzard. Anyway, he's just about as crooked at they come. He was looking for a moonshine driver so, when he found out that you had amnesia, he took advantage of the situation and told you that you were his son so that you'd drive for him." Luke explained.

"What about uncle Rosco?" Bo asked. Hearing Bo say 'uncle Rosco' made Luke want to throw up.

"He ain't your uncle neither. He's the sheriff, and J.D Hogg's brother in law. He corrupt, too." Luke explained.

"How'd they know that I have asthma, then?" Bo asked.

"Everyone in Hazzard knows that Bo Duke has asthma." Luke told him. "Here we are at the next stop." Luke had driven Bo out to Artie Bender's place.

"Hey, Arite!" Luke called as they walked up to the porch, where Artie was painting.

"Howdy boys! I ain't seen y'all Dukes in a while, where you been?" He asked.

"Oh, you know, keepin' it 'tween the ditches." Luke replied and then turned to Bo. "See, he called you a Duke."

"Uh, Artie, he's got amnesia and he don't think I'm telling him the truth when I tell him his name. Would you tell him what his name is?" Luke asked.

"Of course. You're name's Bo, Bo Duke." Artie replied.

"Thanks, Artie." Luke took Bo back out to the General and they took off.

"Sorry I didn't believe you." Bo said.

"Hey, it ain't your fault."

"Where we goin' now?" Bo asked.

"Back to the farm." Luke replied.

"What's it like?" Bo asked.

"You'll see when you get there, cuz." Luke replied. "Hey, I've got something I think you're gonna like." Luke started towards Bo's favorite place to jump the General Lee.

"You gonna jump this dang thing?" Bo asked as it became apparent what Luke was doing.

"You do it every day!" Luke laughed and stamped the pedal.

"YEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAW!" Bo hollered as the General took off flying.

"That was great! We do that all the time?" Bo asked after they landed.

"Yes, we do!" Luke smiled.

"I think I'm gonna like being Bo Duke." Bo chuckled.

That night, the Dukes had fed Bo and showed him where his bed was. Around 2am, Bo awoke with no memory of how he got there, why it was night time, or anything else. But he knew who he was, with no memory of not knowing. He was a little bit scared, seeing as how he had no idea how he'd gotten where he was, butLuke was probably there too, and could explain... he hoped.

"Luke?" Bo asked, turning on the lights.

"Are you alright?" Luke got out of bed.

"I, I uh... I don't know how I got here..." Bo stuttered.

"Alright, take it easy. You were gonna go boar hunting remember that?" Luke asked.

"Yeah... so how'd I get here?" Bo asked, rubbing the back of his head.

"Ya hit yer head when ya ran off the road. You got amnesia an"..." Luke proceeded to tell Bo about the day.

Bo became madly enraged with Boss and Rosco and confronted them the next day.

I HAD MADE AN ENDING FOR THIS EPISODE A WHILE AGO. IT WAS LIKE MY SECOND STORY EVER AND IT WASN'T VERY GOOD AT ALL. I HAVE MADE SOME RULES IN MY MIND OF HOW THE DUKE'S LIVES ARE AS I'VE BEEN WRITING THIS STORY SO, THE OLD ONE NO LONGER MADE SENSE. (IT NEVER REALLY DID) I DELETED IT BC IT WASN'T VERY GOOD ANYWAY WITH THE INTENT OF ADDING A BO HOGG CHAPTER TO THIS STORY WHICH I HAVE DONE NOW. NOW MY OCD IS HAPPY AGAIN. YEEEHAW! :)
