1983... LUKE IS 27, DAISY 26, AND BO 25. THIS CHAPTER STARTS RIGHT AFTER THE DAY THAT DAISY'N BO LET THE OTHERS SLEEP AFTER TAKING CARE OF THEM WHILE THEY HAD FOOD POISONING. THIS IS THE NIGHT OF THAT DAY, AND THE CHAPTER AFTER THIS THAT I ALREADY POSTED AGES AGO IS THE CONTINUATION OF THIS (NOW THAT I'VE EDITED IT A BIT) LOTS OF GOOGLE SEARCHES WENT INTO THIS SO I HOPE ITS NOT TOO UNREALISTIC.

It'd been a long day for Daisy and Bo, and they were happy to finally be going to bed.

"Goodnight, Daisy." Bo yawned as he leaned on the doorframe of his and Luke's bedroom.

"You sure yer okay now, honey?" Daisy asked.

"Sure, I'll be okay." Bo assured.

"You've had a real go of it today. You need anything, you come get me okay?" Daisy offered.

"Yeah. Thanks, Daisy."

"Don't you mention it sweetie." Daisy said as she kissed Bo's cheek. "G'night, honey."

"Night." Bo waved as they both shut the doors to their rooms.

Bo wasted no time undressing and getting into bed. He and Daisy'd been on their toes all day pulling their own share of the load along with Jesse and Luke's, cause they needed some rest from being up most nights while Bo and Daisy were sick. Bo'd had a rough day with his asthma: whenever he got sick, it went straight to his lungs and lingered there for a spell even after he was better. He hadn't thought of it until now, but he'd probably taken more of his inhaler today than he normally would in a week.

After laying in bed for an hour or so, Bo found that he couldn't get to sleep. His heart was racing for no reason, and he was having a heck of a hard time breathing. He remembered this happening on several occasions when he was younger so, he wasn't too concerned. He also knew that if he told Jesse it'd get blown out of proportion and he'd end up at docs. He rolled over and quietly pulled an inhaler from the side table.

After using the inhaler for a while, Bo managed to get his breathing under control for the most part, but his heart was beating out of his chest, and his body was starting to shake slightly. His wasn't really scared was he? Okay yeah, he couldn't stop his body from shaking and every now and then his arm or leg would move randomly. Okay, yeah... it was time to wake Daisy up.

Bo shakily got to his feet and started walking for the door. Not a few steps from it, his leg gave out on him for no apparent reason.

Luke was awakened by the noise that 185 pounds falling to the floor made, and the lights were on within seconds.

"Bo, what'r ya doin?" Luke asked as he got out of bed.

"I kinda fell." Bo explained as Luke tried to help him to his feet.

"Bo, what's wrong?" Luke asked, fear suddenly gripping his voice when Bo's legs seemed to not want to hold him up.

Bo just remained still, a blank look on his face as he began to make more uncontrolled moves with his arms and legs.

"Bo?" Luke asked, tapping his face.

"L-Luke? I feel funny..." Bo's voice trailed off.

Luke grabbed Bo under the arms and hefted him back into bed to inspect him for injuries. "Are you hurt?" he asked as he started looking him over.

"Nah, Luke... I'm just dizzy. I know whats wrong, it's-"

"What?" Luke interrupted.

"My inhaler, I had too much." Bo explained, gasping as his arm jolted randomly.

"Ohhh, okay..." Luke sighed, slightly relieved. Until he noticed the next problem.

"Bo, calm down, kay? Yer heart's doin double the speed limit." Luke instructed as he laid a gentle hand on Bo's arm. He could feel Bo shaking, and all of a sudden his arm made a random movement.

"Alright, you stay right there. I'm gonna go get Uncle Jesse, okay?" Luke took a few steps towards the door, glancing back at Bo.

Bo nodded and Luke took off for Jesse's room.

Well there went everything they'd done that day... now all that rest Jesse an Luke'd gotten wouldn't do them any good: they were gonna be up all night with him again.

"What seems so be the trouble, Bo?" Jesse asked calmly as he walked in and took a place next to Bo's bed. As always, his uncle wasn't frustrated with him, he wasn't annoyed... just so dang caring that you wouldn't believe he was human. How could he still be like that after all of these years of dealing with Bo's problems?

"He can't stop shakin, his heart's poundin out of his chest, an look at his arms..." Luke pointed as Bo's arm randomly jolted.

"You havin trouble breathin?" Jesse asked.

"Yeah." Bo panted.

"Okay. Seems to be you've had too much inhaler, huh?" Jesse asked.

"Think so," Bo sighed.

"Well what'r we gonna do?" Luke asked impatiently. When Luke got worried about Bo, you couldn't expect much from him.

"Relax, Luke. I swear, you're more afraid than Bo hiself here." Jesse chuckled slightly.

"Well what are we gonna do?" Luke asked again.

"We're gonna drive him to docs." Jesse decided calmly.

"What?" Bo sat up quickly.

Luke rushed forward and pushed Bo back to a laying position "down," he ordered.

Bo felt how cold and shaky Luke's hand was, Jesse was right: Luke was more scared than he was.

"Bo, ya need to be put on some medicines, I believe. This happened a few times when you was a youngin,' ya remember?"

"Yeah." Bo sighed.

"When? What?" Luke asked.

"When you was in the marines," Jesse explained. "Get him in my truck with some blankets." Jesse instructed as he went to call the doc to tell him they were coming.

"Don't be so scared, Luke. I'm okay, cousin." Bo laughed.

"You should be scared Bo. Look at ya, you can't even control yer own body." Luke sighed as he wrapped Bo's upper body in a blanket.

"It'll be okay. This ain't no different from last time." Bo sighed as Luke picked him up and started carrying him outside.

"I don't know what all happened last time, cause I weren't here." Luke reminded him.

"Well, I'm okay. Ya don't gotta be so scared." Bo offered.

"Bo, listen to yourself! Ya can hardly breathe and you're havin some kind of convulsion... and you're trying to tell me not to be scared?"

"This ain't nothin new to me. I was fine last time, I'll be fine this time." Bo decided.

"Don't talk so much, just breathe." Luke instructed as he set Bo in the truck cab.

Bo shut his eyes to try and relax, but Luke took that very badly: "BO! Open yer eyes!" He demanded, taking Bo's face in his hands.

"Geez, Luke..." Bo mumbled as he slowly opened his eyes again.

"No, don't you start mumblin..." Luke ordered as he tapped Bo's face.

Bo curled into the blanket and into Luke, trying to tense his muscles against the random movements, but it didn't help much.

After several minutes pain started to build up in his back and neck, the trembles became more fierce, and he was finally scared. Breathing was almost imposible, and everyting started fading.

Luke sensed Bo's fear and pulled his cousin closer to him.

"Alright, here we go." Jesse said as he got in, quickly followed by Daisy. "How is he, Luke?" Jesse asked.

"I-I think he passed out." Luke sighed.

"Alright, change of plans then. We're just gonna take him to the hospital." Jesse decided.

"Yeah, good idea. He ain't hardly breathin." Luke urged.

so the next chapter is right after this when they get Bo to the hospital. I posted that ages ago, and this is just a pre-story of how he ended up there, and also a sort of an ending for the chapters before this one. Sorry if all this makes no sense, lol. it makes sense to me, but idk about y'all.
