As night began to fall upon the Fire Realm, the heroes and heroines of the DDF, accompanied with the Dark Imperium all followed Davis and his fellow champions to the last place they had expected, a large hot spring resort within the capital.

After everything they had been through, the maroon haired hero suggested they all unwind and try to relax.

As Eri, Ruli and Jellymon tried to relax within the comfort and seclusion of the women's side of the hot spring, the trio found themselves nervous as they sensed the tension around them, with Catherine and the majority of the DDF heroines and their Digimon partners glared at the females of the Dark Imperium on the other side of the spring, Suzie glaring directly at Kari as a growing hatred continued to grasp her heart.

Despite their old friendships and bonds, most of the Digi-heroines still held resentment from the actions of the past five years and knew such feelings would not disappear overnight.

The Dark Empress, however, paid no mind to the tension, nor to the angered glance Suzie continued to direct to her, instead Kari just looked up into the skies of Nexus and allowed the warm waters to embrace her.

Remaining with a soft smile as she continued to relax naked within the waters, Kari's mind focused solely on Davis and their reunion.

Sighing softly and with a continued content, the former Digidestined of Light thought back to the events that happened less than an hour ago, to finally speaking with Davis once again, to feeling his arms around her and to the kiss they shared, it was all perfect to her.

Even when she learned that Davis was still alive, the former Digidestined held little hope of sharing a future with him.

She was willing to sacrifice herself and rot in a cell until her power consumed her if it meant her beloved would come home, but now, there was a future, one here in Nexus, and a future where she and Davis could be together forever, a thought that left a peaceful glint deep within Kari's loving eyes.

Not forgetting their loyalty, however, Kari knew she would think of something for the Imperium, but until then, she would allow her time back with Davis to be her main focus.

"Ah, nothing like a relaxing soak after a long, brutal day." Julie declared with a content sigh of her own as the silver haired champion closed her eyes, relaxed in the warm waters and ignored the tension within the air around her.

The tension then broke as many of the girls turned their attention toward Julie, many feeling a shared sense of jealousy as they took in the sight of her developed form, which seemed to rival Mervamon's slender figure within their eyes.

Shaking her head clear of her envy toward the silver haired girl, Rika then refocused on Julie as she decided to distract everyone by asking the silver haired champion. "So... have you known Davis long?"

Grinning lightly to Rika's question, Julie opened her eyes and said with a soft smile. "Most people in the Fire Realm can say they have known Davis their entire lives, but for me... he's always been an inspiration."

Seeing the intrigue within most of the girls, Julie decided to share her story and told them with a continued kind smile on her face. "I was born the third child of a noble family, meaning my path in life was to look pretty and wait for the day I was to be married off in some business deal between my family and a chosen suitor."

Hearing this, most of the girls frowned, but Julie remained with her smile and then said. "It's the nature of nobility, no matter what world you are from."

"However, I refused to allow myself to just accept that fate, so I began studying. I taught myself about the magical arts of the Fire God and became quite skilled in them." The silver haired champion went on to say with a small sense of pride within her voice, before Julie expressed a small sigh and then told the others. "But despite my best efforts, my parents refused to see me as anything other than their little girl and refused to believe I could do anything more than follow the path they chose for me."

"That changed one day when, on our way to a gathering, my family's convoy was attacked by Orkkron raiders." Julie then told Rika and the others as her eyes softened, the memories of that day coming to her mind. "Using the magic I had learnt, I held the beasts back while my brother and sister managed to escape, but I was unable to hold the brutes back or save myself."

"It was then, like a knight in fiery the hero he was, that Davis showed up. Already having been at the gathering and hearing about the attack, he quickly arrived to offer his assistance and saved my life." Julie said as her smile only furthered itself to the memory of the first time she and Davis met.

"It was like a dream, having the legendary hero of the Fire Realm arrive to save the day. I was in awe as I watched him defeat the Orkkron, and with such power, before he turned to help me to my feet, even praising my skills in Fire Magic, which inspired me on the path I now follow." Julie told the girls with a bright and sincere smile.

"I took the trials, became a fire champion and worked to become a member of Davis' Fire Team. He even remembered me after all the time that had passed and welcomed me into the team, and I have not regretted my decision since." The silver haired champion informed, her smile never leaving her face as her mind remained focused solely upon the maroon haired champion.

"Is that when you fell in love with him?" Kari then questioned with a firm seriousness within her tone as she continued to look into the sky, sparing the silver haired champion a side glance as she spoke her mind and asked her question.

Upon hearing the question, Rika and the rest of the girls tensed up a little, each afraid as they shared a sense of concern to how Kari would react or deal with a potential rival for Davis' affection, especially with her past conflicts with the red haired hybrid.

But instead of showing any fear, panic, or even a sense of worry, Julie looked at Kari with a soft smile and asked with a continued warmth within her voice. "What's there not to fall in love with?"

"Forget his handsome features and eternal good looks." The silver haired champion then said with a laugh, especially to the way many of the other girls blushed, where Julie then said. "He is kind, compassionate, has a personality that pushes you forward, makes you want to give it your all and puts others before himself."

"However, I have learned and accepted the fact that I will never have his love." Julie then remarked with a soft sigh, which brought a shared confusion upon the girls' faces.

"He has been on Nexus for twenty thousand years and he has never had children, he never married, let alone dated as far as I know." The silver haired heroine then told the girls, her words surprising those present.

"Maybe he isn't that into girls." Jellymon commented through a teasing voice.

Instantly, the jellyfish Digimon let out a startled 'eep' of fear as she felt the killer intent sent her way from Kari and from several other girls present.

Laughing lightly at the situation, Julie told her new friends and allies. "Oh, trust me, Davis is into women."

"How do you know?" Jeri found she had to ask as she looked away from Jellymon, who allowed herself to relax a little as the killer intent toward her eventually died down.

In response, Julie looked toward Kari and informed the Dark Empress. "The way he talks about you. Whenever he talks about his adventures in your world, whenever he talks about her, there is a light in his eyes that is hard to describe. Nearly every woman that has tried to be with him has found themselves competing with a ghost, one that is apparently now very much alive."

"I am sorry for the pain and suffering you have all experienced." Julie then said as she looked amongst everyone present, before looking back upon Kari and telling her. "But I am beyond happy to see and hear that the love he has held for twenty thousand years is returned with an equal love."

Keeping her head back as she remained relaxed within the hot spring's waters, Kari closed her eyes, a feeling of love and sorrow surfacing.

Kari felt love and joy to know that Davis had held his feelings for her all this time, but she too felt a deep sorrow to know that he had essentially been alone and refused to let anyone replace her within his heart.

'Davis... you will never be alone again, my love...' Kari mentally thought, vowing to never leave the side of her beloved again.

"Momentai..." Terriermon said with a relaxed voice as he floated in the warm waters of the men's side of the hot springs, the rabbit Digimon's eyes closed as he allowed himself a moment to relax, knowing that even though Suzie was in the same room as the Dark Empress, she was safe amongst the rest of their friends.

Feeling his head then bump into something, Terriermon opened his left eye to see Davis looking down and smirking at him, before the maroon haired hero lightly pushed the rabbit-like Digimon aside and allowed him to continue to float around.

Relaxing himself next to Veemon, who also allowed himself to relax after the long day, Davis remained deep in thought.

Around the fire champion, however, a silent tension remained as TK and the DDF heroes were on one side of the spring while Takato and the Dark Imperium heroes were on the other, both groups silently glaring at one another as the resentment of the past five years remained.

"If the rest of you all don't relax soon, I might just use you for target practice." Caleb simply said as he held his hands behind his head, his eyes closed as he continued to relax, though the veiled threat was enough to cause both DDF and Dark Imperium groups to look at him with a shared sense of confusion and unease.

"He's not joking, he will do it." Davis merely remarked as he kept his eyes closed and allowed his mind to wander, to think further on Kari and hoping his Dark Realm contact would eventually reach out to him with a way to help save her.

Wishing to change the subject to a more positive mood and to remove the silent tension amongst his friends, Mikey then looked to Davis and questioned with intrigue. "So, Davis, since we didn't get the initial introduction, what is it like living in the Fire Realm?"

"Hold on." Thomas suddenly cut in, this causing the group to look at him as he reached over and retrieved his tablet from his belongings which rested on the side of the spring, and began hitting a few buttons, before a familiar voice was then heard through it.

"What is it, Thomas?" Yoshi questioned in annoyance, wondering why the blond was contacting her as she and the other girls were on their side of the hot spring and were trying to relax.

"Davis is about to say more on the Fire Realm, so it might be better this way so he doesn't have to repeat himself." The blond DATS member informed Yoshi in reply.

"Oh, good idea." Yoshi replied from her end as the guys heard a beep from Thomas' tablet, followed by Yoshi's voice again. "Alright, It's now on speaker."

Seeing as how he now had everyone's attention, Davis shrugged his shoulders and told the others. "Well, Mikey asked me what's life like in the Fire Realm. As some of you are already aware, the Fire Realm is made up of various tribes, city-states and kingdoms that all swear allegiance to the Fire Emperor and worship Voldrakon."

Raising his hand and getting Davis' attention, Gumdramon then questioned him with growing curiosity. "Yeah, we remember that whole origin story you told us, but is it even real?"

Upon asking the question, Gumdramon gulped lightly as a pair of growls could be heard that emanated from Blaze and Ferox from inside their gems, which caused Davis to chuckle lightly and to then tell everyone present. "Look up into the sky and tell me the first thing you notice."

"There are five moons." Kari said in reply as she kept her head back and looked into the skies above, her words causing everyone but Davis, Julie and Caleb to look upward and to see that there were indeed five moons, each in various phases above Nexus, one red, one green, one gold, one blue and one black that each emitted with their own unique lights and energies.

"Oh... Oh!" Tagiru suddenly called as realization hit him and the others, the group now in shared understanding that the five Dragon Gods of Nexus were each within the moons above.

"Their bodies slumber, but their power and spirits are ever present." Julie then told the others with a small smile, listening in as Davis continued with his explanations.

"From Voldrakon, not only do we have Fire Mana, and thus Fire Magic, but also the power of his children, the Fire Dragons, Magma Dragons and Phoenixes." The maroon haired hero then said/informed, his words earning approving nods from Blaze, Ferox and Phirox.

"Magma Dragons?" Yoshi had to inquire as she was unsure if she or the others had seen these beings just yet.

"Unlike Fire Dragons like Blaze and Ferox, Magma Dragons are made entirely out of molten rock and lava... and are a little more feral." Caleb said in reply and with a small chuckle, which grew when Blaze all but bellowed furiously. "What do you mean by a little more?!"

Ignoring Blaze's rant, Davis continued and told his friends. "Of those that serve under the Fire Emperor, aside from the dwarves and automations, who I'll tell you more on later, there are the lizardmen tribes, who are the most numerous of all the warriors in the Fire Realm."

"The smaller lizardmen you have seen, the ones without wings, are called Drakkon." The maroon haired hero went on to say as he continued in his explanation, who remembered the red scaled lizards that were rushing through the Orkkron ranks during that first battle they had encountered. Their tribes live in hunter based societies, and their chieftains elect who will represent them as Fire Lord when the seat becomes vacant."

"The larger lizards, the ones with the crescent bones on their heads, are known as the Krogar." Caleb then informed as everyone remembered the larger lizardmen which wielded flaming hammers, where Davis' fellow champion then commented with a growing grin. "They're more muscles than brains, but they're loyal to a fault."

"The last lizardmen, the ones with the wings, are known as the Draconoids. Since they have an actual blood link to the dragons, they tend to have a superiority complex, but are powerful warriors and excellent commanders." Davis then said as the group were reminded of the winged lizardmen.

Grinning as he changed his focus, Davis kept his focus toward the DDF and Dark Imperium heroes and heroines, telling them. "Then you have the humans, and before you ask, no, I have no idea how there are human societies on Nexus. Some believe they are descendants of humans brought here by the Veil, others believe they were created by the Dragon Gods and have been here ever since."

"Now, there are many city-states and kingdoms of humans in the Fire Realm, but three stand out the most, Furansa, Asahi and Ignisia." The maroon haired hero went on to say, getting everyone's attention as Davis explained about the nations.

"Furansa is the largest of all the human kingdoms, self-styled the Kingdom of Man. It is a roman-styled kingdom that provided the most troops to the Fire Legions and is led by a High Lord or Lady, who has since before I have been on Nexus always been a member of the Cameron Family." He then said, the latter of his words intriguing most present.

"So Furansa is Lelouch's home?" Thomas inquired as he thought of the young, arrogant and yet powerful Fire Lord, his question earning a confirming nod from Davis in reply.

"Yes, he is the elected Fire Lord to represent Furansa and the other major kingdoms, while his sister, Euphemia Cameron, serves as the current High Lady of Furansa." The maroon haired champion said in reply, before continuing in his explanation about the next kingdom.

"Asashi, meanwhile, is the kingdom of the Fire Samurai." He said as Cody and Armadillomon remembered the red armoured samurai they witnessed in the battle against the Orkkron.

"Asashi is ruled by the Shogun of the Kurita Family, and are powerful, noble warriors who follow their own code of bushido based on the philosophies of the Fire Realm." Julie then cut in, before she allowed Davis to continue and finish in his thoughts.

"Finally, Ignisia is the kingdom of the Fire Knights, ruled by the Sun Kings of the Darion Family, proud nobles who serve as a fiery example of chivalry and knighthood." The maroon haired hero said as he finished for a moment and to allow his friends to digest the information as the DDF remembered the knights they saw fighting against the Orkkrons earlier.

Intrigued as he remembered something Davis had said, Hiro found himself growing curious and inquired. "You mentioned the philosophies of the Fire Realm, what are those?"

Smiling at the question, Davis informed the brown haired boy. "All of the Realms have two ideologies that they follow based on the Dragon Gods. For the Fire Realm, the first is called the Will of Fire, the drive to move forward, the sense of honour, chivalry and to protect those close to us, to use our passion and emotions to better ourselves and the world around us."

"And the second one?" Shoutmon inquired, the Digimon King noticing how Davis and Caleb shared a glance, before the maroon haired hero then explained in reply. "The Wrath of Fire, the flame that burns away all fear, doubt and weakness, the raging flame that always demands more fuel, more sacrifice, a flame whose followers seek to claim the world, but to do so would be to see it burn first."

Seeing the shocked look on his friends' faces, Davis then informed the others. "Along our borders, especially with the Light Realm and Water Realm, various warlords occasionally raid our enemies and/or defend our lands from their assaults, but often aren't as noble as those you have met within the Fire Realm thus far."

"As much as I despise them, I am forbidden from interfering with the Warlords' actions, unless they directly threatened the Fire Realm itself, and thus I am forced to keep myself focused on the defense of the Fire Realm as a whole and not concern myself with what happens beyond our borders, save for threats to the Nature Realm and Dark Realm." Davis said with a small growl, mentally believing there could be more peace if he was able to act more in stopping the constant skirmishes and mini wars that raged across Nexus.

"I get it now!" Tagiru then declared with a growing enthusiasm, drawing Davis' attention as the Superstar explained. "The Will of Fire is what bonds you guys with the Nature Realm, while the Wrath of Fire is how you all and the Dark Realm are friends."

A smile gracing his face to hear Tagiru of all people explain it best, Davis nodded his head and then told the brown haired Superstar in reply. "In simple terms, yes, but the bonds do run deeper than any ideology."

"Now, I know I have told you guys a lot, and there is more to cover, but it should be enough for you guys to be alright tonight." The maroon haired hero then remarked with a sly grin, one that caused everyone to look nervous and for Tai to ask on everyone's behalf. "Davis... what do you mean?"

"There is a gathering happening here at the capital in about two hours." Davis said in reply, before he told the rest of his friends. "The leaders of most of the kingdoms, city-states and tribes, as well as nobles and other political leaders, will be gathering at the Palace for food, talks and most of all, meeting all of you. Hope you all brought some nice clothing."

Most in the groups paled slightly to hear that they were about to attend a major social gathering, while Kari held a small smile, looking forward to meeting more of those who were a part of Davis' life within Nexus.

.

.

.

Two hours later, TK and the heroes and heroines of both the DDF and Dark Imperium were dressed in their various uniforms and standing to the side of a massive chamber, the chamber resembling a grand ballroom of a palace back on Earth, where indeed, the group saw many nobles, dignitaries and other more regal beings conversing amongst one another, often sparing a glance at the group, which left them nervous and unsure what would occur.

"I am feeling stressed out here. So not groovy..." Astora whispered with a small sweat drop, one many amongst the group seemed to share, especially the Digimon and Appmon as they saw the eyes of many within the room upon them.

"Relax, you guys will be just fine." Julie then assured, her kind and sincere voice getting everyone's attention as many of the guys all blushed after taking in Julie's new attire, to see the silver haired girl now wearing an elegant and beautiful black dress that only showed off her slender figure and her ample breasts.

"Yeah, though there is a possibility that you all will be the entertainment of the night." Caleb then said with a sly grin as he approached and stood alongside Julie.

Standing beside his friend and remaining with his calm demeanor, Caleb paid little to no attention to the way a few of the girls seemed to stare and almost drool as they looked over the clothing he now wore.

Dressed in the black military uniform, one with red trimmings that now ran along his uniform and with the Fire Realm's crest upon his chest, Caleb continued to hold a grin as he held a glass of champagne in his hand.

Remaining calm and collected, Caleb kept his grin as he too was looking forward to the main event, but also to what he knew would happen in a few moments.

Looking around, however, Cody then spoke up as the Digidestined of Knowledge and Reliability had to point out. "Wait, where are Davis and Kari?"

Looking around, the DDF and Dark Imperium heroes and heroines couldn't find the maroon haired champion or the Dark Empress anywhere, but all soon looked over at Julie, who simply chuckled in reply.

"Don't worry, they'll be here in a moment." She promised with a trusting voice, before she added with a sly and growing smirk. "Around here, the Emperor's Champion has to be introduced properly in such events."

Confused by Julie's comment and about to question what exactly she meant, the group then fell silent as the sound of royal horn then blew and echoed throughout the room, the sound of which the group had heard several times as different nobles were introduced and proceeded to enter the chamber.

"Presenting The Emperor's Champion, the Daimyo of the Outer Reaches and the Duke of the Frontiers, Lord Davis Motomiya and his guest, the Empress Kari Kamiya!" One of the guards announced regally, his words causing TK and a few to sweat drop at hearing Davis' many titles, before the chamber doors opened and revealed the former Digidestined.

Taking in Davis' appearance first, and save for his sister, many of the heroines of the DDF, as well as the Dark Imperium, found themselves drooling as they took in the appearance of the handsome maroon haired hero, who was clad in his own version of the outfit Caleb was wearing and too showed off his muscular figure.

However, unlike Caleb's outfit, Davis had a red cloak that went down his back, accompanied with several regal medals that were pinned to his chest, these being various awards for his many, many years of service to the Fire Realm and its inhabitants.

Meanwhile, TK and a few of the Digi-heroes found themselves blushing as they took in Kari's appearance, to see the former Digidestined of Light now adorned in a black dress that showed off her amazing figure, while a black silk sash had been wrapped around her arms and along her shoulders.

Her hair was tied in a ponytail that went down to her lower back, framing her face and giving the brunette an elegant, regal and seductive appearance.

But for Tai, Gatomon, Agumon, Sora, Jun and Veemon, the best part of the sight before them was seeing how Kari had both of her right arm wrapped gently around Davis' left and how the brown haired Digidestined held a content and a true smile upon her face as she and her beloved happily entered the chamber.

Despite the sight of the happy couple, some such as TK found themselves slightly annoyed by the situation, before the group then heard those around them whispering about the couple before them.

"That's her? That's the one he is always talking about?"

"Wow, she's even more beautiful than I imagined."

"She's not that pretty."

"You're kidding, right?"

As the whispers of intrigue, as well as jealousy, continued to form around her, Kari found herself completely ignoring them as she was too content at being at the side of her beloved.

Holding her arm and guiding the love of his life through the chamber, the pair moved towards a small group that seemed to be waiting for them.

Recognizing Fire Lord Lelouch, the Dark Empress then turned to see that by his side was a young girl who too was clad in a black dress.

She had purple hair that trailed down to the floor, violet eyes and held a bright smile on her face through her amazing beauty.

Turning his head towards the rest of his friends, Davis gestured to TK and the others to join them, where the DDF and Imperium heroes and heroines, alongside Julie and Caleb, approached the maroon haired hero and did their best to ignore the glances that were sent their way.

Once they were close enough, Davis then allowed Kari to slide and remove herself from his gentle embrace and to make introductions as he gestured to the young girl. "Everyone, this is High Lady Euphemia Cameron of Furansa."

Bowing in respect to the young ruler, TK and the group watched as Euphemia bowed her own head in respect and said in reply with an endearing smile. "It is a pleasure to meet all of you."

As Davis was about to then introduce the two older men within the group, the maroon haired hero found himself cut off as Euphemia bent down and looked upon Veemon, the purple haired noble questioning with a continued kindness. "And you must be Veemon, am I correct?"

"Yes, my Lady, I..." Veemon started to say in reply, the V marked Digimon of Miracles trying to show his best manners and respect, but stopped in his sentence when he recognized the look within Euphemia's eyes, a similar expression which Julie had reflected within her eyes, right before...

Quicker than he could even react, Veemon found himself lifted off the ground and pulled into a tight hug as Euphemia cuddled and happily held him close to her, rubbing her cheek against his own as the young ruler suddenly squealed. "You're even more adorable than I ever imagined!"

"Lady Euphemia, please, save some cuddles for the rest of us!" Another female noble declared, before around thirty to forty of the female guests in the room surrounded the pair with excited squeals, each desiring their own turn to cuddle with the cute V-marked Digimon they had all heard about their entire lives.

As Davis chuckled lightly at the sight, the other heroes and heroines, along with most of the male guests, sweat dropped to what they were seeing, while Gatomon's eye twitched a little as she fought back the urge to tear through all the unwanted fangirls and save the Digimon she loved from their clutches and unwanted advances.

Fortunately though, the awkward event seemed to break the ice as the other nobles, the tribal leaders and other political beings all approached and began to talk to and amongst the DDF and Dark Imperium heroes and heroines as many seemed eager to meet the individuals and the digital beings Davis had often talked about, while Gammamon, Terriermon, Lopmon, Offmon and even Guilmon, despite still wearing his filter mask, also being the centre of attention as many found them to each be adorable.

As the excitement eventually calmed down a little and Veemon was finally saved from the clutches of his new fan club, Davis and his friends all sat along a large table.

As Euphemia sat and acted at the head of the table, Davis sat to her left, with Kari at his side, Lelouch on his sister's right and the two gentlemen Davis was going to introduce sat next to his right hand side.

"My apologies for that unforeseen display of affection." Euphemia then said with an apology in her voice, before explaining herself. "But to finally meet all of you, especially the Digimon after all this time, I couldn't help myself."

"I can still remember when Lelouch and I were little as we sat on our beds at night as Lord Motomiya would tell us all about your adventures within the Digital World, so it is almost like meeting fairy tale heroes in a sense." The purple haired ruler then remarked with a dreamy sigh, which left Kari, TK and the others to each share the mental image of a younger Euphemia and Lelouch sitting on their beds with starry eyes as Davis regaled them with tales of their adventures and endeavours, once more cementing the fact of how old Davis was compared to all of those around him.

"Likewise, I am glad to see many of you enjoying yourselves here." Euphemia then said with a further hospitality as she looked down upon the table and to see Gammamon sitting with a plate before him, one with a giant piece of chocolate cake, decorated with chocolate ice cream on top and chocolate syrup drizzled on it, the sight that left the small Digimon with stars in his eyes as he dug his fork in and took a bite, furthering Gammamon's joy.

"Tasty champions!" Gammamon bellowed in joy, which brought a smile toward Hiro's Digimon partner and his cuteness.

Looking back at Euphemia, Mimi gained a sly smirk and questioned with interest. "Aren't you one of the sisters that...?"

"Don't... you dare finish... that... sentence..." Lelouch growled with an intimidating tone, which caused his sister to giggle slightly toward her brother's mental trauma.

Rolling his eyes to the antics of the Cameron Family, Davis then focused on the two other nobles sitting at the table and proceeded to introduce them. "Now, as I was about to say before our little... interruption, may I also introduce to you the Shogun Daisuke Kurita of Asashi and King Luthor Darion of Ignisia."

Instantly looking toward and upon the pair, TK and the others took in the older man who appeared to be of Japanese descent and was wearing a series of red samurai robes with a symbol of a dragon's head on his shoulder pads.

Beside him was a man who looked to be of European descent and was wearing an outfit somewhat similar to Davis' own, only his upper clothing was decorated with a badge showing a sword surrounded in flames in place of the Fire Realm's main symbol.

Quickly realizing they were in the presence of further royalty and wishing to show his respect, Tai quickly got to his feet and bowed.

"My apologies for not showing you the proper respect, my Lords." The older Kamiya said, speaking for and on everyone's behalf.

Laughing lightly and waving his hand dismissively toward Tai's behaviour, Luthor replied with a kind and assuring smile. "Given what had occurred, it is quite alright, young Kamiya."

Expressing a deep sigh of relief, Tai sat back down, before looking toward Kari, who in turn looked at the Shogun and then looked upon Davis with a curious expression on her face.

"Daisuke?" The Dark Empress inquired with a small smile, as the name was Davis' Japanese name.

"Yes, he was named after me." Davis informed Kari with a small chuckle, one the Shogun also shared.

Looking upon the leaders of Asashi and Ignisia, Davis then inquired with a friendly tone. "So, how are the boys doing?"

"Both are doing quite well, each continuing in their studies for the day they take our places." Daisuke assured with a soft smile, while everyone else listened to and with intrigue as Davis conversed further with the two rulers about their heirs.

Eventually and as everyone enjoyed the meals brought to them, the conversation turned back to Davis as Euphemia inquired with an understandable curiosity. "So, Lord Motomiya, what are your plans now that your kin are here in Nexus?"

"We are waiting to hear back from my counterpart in the Dark Realm, but until then, I was going to show them around the Fire Realm a little longer." Davis said in reply, adding as his attention was drawn back to Lelouch and said. "I was planning, after showing them more of the Capital tomorrow, to take them to see Forgras and Charenji. Mind if we borrow an airship?"

"Of course, I'll make the arrangements for tomorrow." The Fire Lord said in reply as he held his glass up and took a small sip.

"May I also make a request?" Daisuke then inquired, receiving Davis' attention as the Shogun asked. "May a small squad of our warriors join with you in your travels?"

"This way your allies can see the strength of the warriors of Asashi and Ignisia firsthand." Luthor then added, the request receiving a nod from Davis, much to the two rulers' delight.

It was then that music began to take place within the chamber, courtesy of a band playing in the corner as soft and almost romantic music began to play, one that brought a smile to Davis' face as the maroon haired hero stood up and faced the woman he had always loved.

"May I have this dance?" He offered kindly as he extended his hand toward the brunette, the romantic action being one that Kari immediately responded to as she rose to her feet and followed Davis to the dance floor, to which the pair began to slowly dance at the centre, together and alongside several other couples.

"This is the first time I have ever seen him dance." Euphemia said with a dreamy sigh as everyone watched Davis and Kari move in sync with one another, this earning a small chuckle from Julie, who added. "This is the first time he has ever had a date to one of these gatherings."

Staring into each other's eyes as they danced together and ignoring the looks of awe, joy and even envy sent their way, Davis and Kari enjoyed the moment with one another and looked forward to their time together, no matter what would happen between them.

Deep within the waters that separated the Fire Realm from the Water Realm, a vast naval armada made its way towards the lands of their mortal enemies, ready to bring war and victory for their Realm and their Emperor.

Alongside the various submersible cruisers, thousands of cybernetic sea life swam alongside their allies, while larger constructs moved with great speeds through the waters.

Lastly and with some resting upon the larger ships, were the Cyber Dragons, the children of Tritonius, the Water Dragon God, each a combination of blue scales, fins, cybernetics and internal circuitry as they prepared for the upcoming conflict.

And on the bridge of his command ship and ultimate weapon, Krytus looked on with his own determination, believing that with logic on his side, he would prevail over the barbaric forces of the Fire Realm and bring victory, no matter what the Arch Savant believed.

Victory would be his, and Krytus would clean the lands of the Fire Realm and drown them in the seas.

Author's note: As the small peace amongst the heroes and heroines of the Digital World remains uneasy, Davis continues to show them his world, unaware of the approaching threat. What else will Davis show his friends in the Fire Realm, and what will happen once Krytus begins his invasion? Stay tuned as the adventure continues.
