Shock continued to fill almost everyone who took in the sight of not one, but two Davis Motomiyas now standing amongst them.

Looking between the Davis they had been with since they first arrived on Nexus and this newer one, the group could see notable changes within the Shadow and his appearance.

While the helmet still covered most of his head, those who looked at him could still see the exact same features as the Davis of the Fire Realm, the only real differences between the Davises being the dark purple hue within the darker Davis' eyes compared to the red hue of the previous Davis.

"Wait, there are two of them?!" Jeremy questioned in pure shock and confusion as he looked upon the screen and between the two Davises.

Sighing slightly as Julie's words resurfaced themselves within his mind, Thomas said in reply. "No, there are five of them, one in each Realm."

Still shocked by what he was seeing, TK was then snapped out of his stupor when it seemed like a text message was sent to his cellphone, where he quickly withdrew it and saw that Yoshi had sent a message, one simply stating that there were indeed five Davises.

His eye widening even further to this news, the Digidestined of Hope turned to see Izzy, who was looking over his own communicator as Mikey had just informed him of the same news, this leaving most of the group present with a further sense of shock and awe.

Looking over this new Davis however, Kari could feel the differences between him and the one she had been travelling with this whole time.

Where the Davis of the Fire Realm held a warmth to him, a powerful inferno within his being that reflected within his courage, the Davis of the Dark Realm had the chill of death emanating from him, a powerful darkness that could and would consume everything that stood against him.

"What's the matter? No tears of joy for seeing me again? No rushing to hug me after not seeing me after all this time apart?" The Davis of the Dark Realm questioned with a small glee in his tone, as though enjoying their shock and horror, while letting those present know that he knew of their actions upon arriving in Nexus.

Feeling a chill run down his spine from the sadistic glee within the second Davis' voice, TK gulped, before summoning the strength to speak.

As he looked to the Davis of the Fire Realm, TK said. "Sorry... we just didn't know you, or any of the others existed."

A wicked chuckle then brought TK's attention back to the Shadow, who held an equally wicked smirk.

"Oh, there are a few of you who knew beforehand." He told TK.

Shocked by this information, TK immediately turned to Kari, who merely smiled and said in reply. "I was told all of this before we left the Fire Realm."

Nodding in understanding, though upset that he wasn't told earlier, TK's eye once again widened as he realized the new Davis said a few, his words causing the Digidestined of Hope and the others to look at the only two individuals who weren't as freaked out as they were, being Jun and Veemon.

Looking at one another, the older Motomiya and the Digimon of Miracles nodded to each other, before Jun looked back at TK and told the DDF Commander. "When you left us with our parents, he contacted all of them and we spoke with them."

Each of the Digidestined and Digimon of the DDF looked at the pair with shock, to now knowing that both Jun and Veemon knew this entire time that there were multiple versions of Davis within Nexus.

"Why didn't you tell me!?" TK all but shouted as he demanded an answer amongst his friends.

The information changed everything to him and TK felt that it was too important to have just kept it as such a secret.

"Because we promised we'd keep quiet about it." Jun said in reply, before the maroon haired girl went on to say with a seriousness within her voice. "And after all this time, I am not going to betray my brother's... brothers' trust, not for anyone, let alone to a corrupt organization that can't get their act straight."

To Jun's reply, TK felt as though he was about to have a mental breakdown, the Digidestined of Hope shaking as he began to chuckle with an almost insane tone, believing the universe was out to get him and finally allowed its biggest joke yet to fall upon him.

While many of the Digidestined and Digimon looked at TK with concern, the Davis of the Fire Realm frowned in response to his friend's breakdown, before narrowing his eyes as the Shadow expelled a small and dark chuckle.

"Oh, now this was worth the wait." The Dark Lord said with great amusement in his tone.

Closing his helmet as he then turned and aimed his blade towards Nanami and Ivan, who each panicked upon seeing the action, the darkness and dreading feeling continued to circle around this newer Davis.

"Send them home now, or they will join the rest of their 'allies' in the grave." The Shadow then commanded with a cruel voice, before lowering his blade and telling his fiery counterpart, alongside the others. "Then you can come onboard the Dark Citadel when you are done."

Walking back toward his forces, the Davis of the Dark Realm then looked over his shoulder and said to the fire champion. "Oh, and the rest of them can enter the Dark Realm, we will wait here for their little airship to arrive, and your Fire Team and the two young heirs are allowed as well."

"Don't take too long, we have much to discuss." The Shadow then said with a small laugh, sparing Kari a quick glance, where the brunette felt that instead of a sadistic glee directed at her, she felt love and hope, before the Dark Lord turned into a dark mist and shot up toward the floating dark fortress in the sky.

Looking around and seeing the surprise which remained upon the faces of his friends, the Davis of the Fire Realm sighed as he told those present. "I'll let the others know, you guys take all the time you need to process this."

Left in silence as Kari, Jun and Veemon moved to follow the fire champion, to not only alert their friends to what had happened, but to make sure Nanami and Ivan were sent home, and to a medical facility, the rest of the Digidestined and their Digimon partners remained in shock as they tried to wrap their heads around the idea of five versions of their friend existed within this world.

And from what they just witnessed, the Davis of the Dark Realm wouldn't be as... kind as his fiery counterpart.

A few hours later and upon their custom airship, which headed toward the Dark Realm, the remaining Digi-heroes and heroines of both the DDF and Dark Imperium were seated within the airship's briefing room, while Julie, Caleb, Victor and Kenji sat in the back and allowed their new friends to converse about all they had just learnt.

Moving and standing before the large screen, Kazu and Guardromon looked ready for a presentation as the screen turned on, showing five photos, one of the Davis they had been travelling with since arriving in Nexus, while another showed a photo of the Shadow.

Beneath those images, meanwhile, were three old photos of Davis, all the same image and with a question mark over them.

"Ok, for the sake of talking to them and being able to tell them apart, I say we call the Davis we've been with so far Fire Davis, since he is from the Fire Realm, while the new one is Dark Davis, and we go on from there with the others. Any objections?" The brown haired Digimon Tamer then questioned as he looked around and upon his friends and former foes alike, Kazu half expecting someone to remark about another of his ideas.

"Actually, it sounds good." Rika said in reply, this surprising Kazu a little to hear the red haired hybrid out of everyone agreeing with him on something.

"It'll make any reports or being able to speak with them individually much easier." Thomas then said.

"So... that leaves a Water Davis, a Nature Davis and a Light Davis." Tommy then theorized as he looked at the remaining photos, the Warrior of Ice trying to wrap his head around the idea that there were indeed five versions of Davis now.

"This is messed up." Airu whined as she slumped into her chair, Tagiru agreeing with the blonde haired girl as he asked. "But how did this even happen?"

"No, I mean it's messed up that there are five smoking hot hunks out there and they all want Kari, it's not fair!" Airu then replied with a small pout, the Digimon Hunter ignoring the glares sent her way, despite a few of the girls having similar thoughts and also being envious of the Dark Empress.

Breaking from her more jealous, and perverted thoughts, Yoshi then stated as an idea came to mind. "Wait, we thought that Fire Davis couldn't pass through the Veil even though we could establish a Digi-port. What if we try with all five of them together?"

"You want to bring that home?!" JP questioned as he pointed to the Dark Davis photo, the Warrior of Thunder still rattled by the carnage he witnessed earlier and feared what could happen if the Shadow was brought back to the Digital World.

Hearing a light chuckle, the Digi-heroes and heroines turned toward Caleb, who commented with a growing grin. "Now that would be an interesting sight."

Remembering now that they had four individuals that were a part of Nexus with them, individuals who most likely knew about there being five versions of Davis and kept it from them, Takato then looked to Julie, Caleb, Victor and Kenji as he questioned. "What can you guys tell us about this Dark Davis?"

"To most of us, he's... what was the word our Davis used...?" Victor questioned himself as he tried to remember the term he was told, before remembering as it finally came to him. "The boogeyman."

"Of the five, he is considered the most cruel, brutal, cunning and manipulative." Julie then remarked, getting everyone's attention as she went on to tell the others. "He takes great pleasure in tormenting and torturing his foes, stripping away their hopes, courage and even their sanity."

"That said, he is also, like our Davis, loyal to those who earn his respect and a powerful ally." Caleb told the others, who nodded their heads in reply, each left with the same worrying thought.

Did this Dark Davis see them as his friends and allies, or as foes to crush beneath his feet?

After informing the rest of their friends to head toward the Dark Realm and sending Nanami and Ivan back to the Digital World, where they were met with a security detail that would bring them to a medical facility and to eventually stand trial for their mutiny, Fire Davis, Kari and the rest of the Digidestined and Digimon boarded their transport and were brought to a hanger within the Dark Citadel, which would remain in place until the others arrived.

Exiting their transport, the group was then met by what appeared to be a human clad within a series of black robes.

However, taking in the features of the individual, the group could see the figure's eyes held a pitch black and deep emptiness within them that left most of the humans and Digimon amongst the group in a state of unease.

Keeping silent and simply beckoning for them to follow, the being led the group down the corridors and down the hallways of the dark fortress and toward its Master.

Following the robed figure, Kari, TK, Jun and the others looked upon the walls of the hallways, some slightly creeped out to see what appeared to be human skulls embedded within the dark material, but most found themselves intrigued to see many murals painted upon the walls, with many having tales and connections to the Dark Davis in one way or another.

Within each painting they passed, the Digidestined and Digimon saw imagery of the Shadow, of the Dark Davis, in various battles, most showing him with his helmet as he was depicted as a Dark Lord in some sort of fairy tale, one emerging victorious over the forces of good as they showed him battling what appeared to be a gathering of angelic-like beings or creatures of the wilderness.

Other imagery showed Dark Davis standing tall as other beings bowed before him, a sight that left TK and most of the group wondering if these paintings were a sign of the reverence the Dark Realm showed the Shadow or an expression of his vanity.

Quickly dismissing those thoughts for now, the group eventually arrived at a massive pair of doors made of pure bone, which slid open and revealed a massive chamber that Fire Davis and the others walked into.

Walking down the chamber, Kari, TK and the others quickly took note of the guards within the room, seeing more of the black robed figures, each with a black cloth around their noses and mouths, while several of the six-legged skeletal creatures were moving around the floor and ceiling of the room.

But what was most noticeable to the newcomers to Nexus were the appearance of the guards within the chamber, each being six to eight foot tall creatures that looked like roman centurions clad within bone-like armour.

Each of the beings were equipped with a shield and halberd made of the same material as the blades glowed with a dark aura, and upon a closer glance of the skeletal faces of the guards, Izzy and most of the Digidestined quickly realized that these beings weren't wearing armour at all, that their entire bodies were make out of bone, that they were in fact each a living construct of death itself as they followed the newcomers with their hollowed eyes.

'That is her...'

'The one who holds his heart... his love...'

'Praise her coming…'

All around them, the Digidestined and Digimon heard dark whispers, each realizing that they were directed upon Kari, who kept a smile upon her face to the knowledge that even through the darkness within and around him that the Dark Davis still held a place for her deep within his heart.

Arriving at the end of the chamber, Fire Davis, Kari and the others found themselves standing before a black throne, one with skulls arranged along and around the dark object which sent chills down most of the groups' spines, before the group looked to see Dark Davis seated upon it.

His helmet now removed and allowing his face to be seen, Kari, TK and the others now saw a black mouth guard made of bone covering the Shadow's mouth and nose, giving him a menacing appearance as they took in the sadistic glint within his eyes.

To the Dark Davis' right, meanwhile, was a figure in black armour and robes, with spiked shoulders and what appeared to be a scythe in his right hand, one with dark purple runes upon the blade, while a pair of bat-like wings and a spiked bone tail emerged from out of his back.

Remembering this individual as one of the Dark Lords that fought alongside the Shadow, Kari, TK and the others looked to see his head covered in a black hood, while a mask made of bone with twin spikes coming out of the top covered his face, leaving only a pair of dark purple eyes to be seen as he glared upon the new arrivals.

To the Shadow's left, meanwhile, was a female Dark Lord, one in bone armour that covered her entire body, though still showed off her feminine features, with several spine-like tendrils coming out of her back and a slimmer shadow blade similar to Dark Davis' strapped to her hip.

Her head was covered in a helmet of bone with two wing-like horns coming out of the top, while what looked like a death mask covered her face, leaving only the dark purple glow of her eyes to emanate from the eye slits.

As the Digidestined and the Digimon of the DDF and Dark Imperium continued to follow Fire Davis and approached the throne, from Cody's camera, the DDF Provisional Council continued to watch with a mix of worry, fear and intrigue as to what could happen between their allies and the Dark Davis.

Carson, meanwhile, kept silent and his arms crossed as he watched the screen before him, mentally planning on how to cover up his involvement with the failed attempt to capture the Dark Empress, knowing that several of his allies on the council would back him up.

"Such interesting times we have here in Nexus." Dark Davis said with an amused tone as the group stopped before the throne, where the Shadow looked to his fiery counterpart and to Kari and then said. "I am reunited not only with my fiery counterpart after what... five hundred years, give or take, as well as the love of my life."

Seeing Kari smile at his words, Dark Davis then looked to the others as he gained a sadistic glint within his eyes and said with a growing smirk behind his mask. "And most of all, the ghosts of the past come barging into Nexus and crawling before me, begging me to save them from their own sins."

Flinching slightly to the words, and to the tone of the newer Davis, TK and the others knew that the Shadow wasn't as forgiving as his Fire Realm counterpart, while Cody found himself slightly glad that this wasn't the first Davis he ran into.

"And still self-absorbed I see." Fire Davis remarked as he moved to the side with a small frown on his face, to which Dark Davis spared him a glance before seeing his fellow Dark Lord to his right move and speak.

"My Lord, these insects are not showing you the respect you deserve." The dark being said, before turning and facing TK and those before them with a remaining sense of authority.

"Kneel!" The Dark Lord suddenly called out, his voice sounding distorted in the process.

Instantly, the Digidestined and Digimon were shocked as their bodies moved without their permission, the group all forced down to their hands and knees and knelt before the Dark Digidestined.

While somewhat amused to see those before him in such a position, Dark Davis, and even his fellow Dark Lords were intrigued, all knowing that Fire Davis would not be affected, but they were somewhat surprised to see Kari unaffected as well, leaving the Shadow and his servants interested in seeing what power the Dark Empress now wielded.

"That is enough, Desred." Dark Davis then said, his command causing the male Dark Lord to nod in reply and to then wave his hand, allowing TK, Patamon and the others to regain control over their bodies and to allow them the freedom to return to their feet.

"I apologize for my right hand. He can be a little... overzealous when it comes to serving me." The Shadow said to his guests, though TK could sense the smirk behind the Dark Davis' mask.

"So, you're the Davis that remained a jerk then?" The DDF Commander remarked as he got to his feet, where he noticed the other Digidestined sending him worried glances as they looked between him and the Dark Davis in fear of his retaliating for the blond's comment.

"What? He's not going to kill me." TK said as he then glared at the Shadow and told the others. "After all, I can't suffer if I'm already dead."

"Are you sure about that?" Dark Davis asked in reply and with a devious glint in his eyes, his words causing TK to rethink his line of thought, before the Dark Lord gave another amused laugh and then said to TK. "That said, after everything I have heard you go through these past few years, to what Kari has done to all of you, I really don't see what else I could do to outdo her."

Clenching his fist in order to control the rage continuing to build within him, TK then sighed in frustration, part of him knowing that this Davis had waited a long time to get back at him for the past and was enjoying himself at the moment.

However, that sadistic glee then turned into a dark seriousness as Dark Davis then said. "Now, before we can begin our talks, there is still the issue of the DDF trespassing and launching an assault upon the Dark Realm."

Not only did the DDF members of the Digidestined and their Digimon gulp upon hearing this, but so did the members of the Provisional Council, each knowing that the Shadow would want someone to pay for the unwarranted attack upon his domain.

'As long as I cover my tracks, they'll never know of my involvement.' Carson thought to himself as he mentally started to strategically plan his next moves.

Regaining his confidence, TK then said to the Shadow with a professional tone. "As I said, we will find the ones responsible for this and..."

"Richard Carson." Dark Davis cut in with a cold fury within his voice, where TK and the other DDF Digidestined and Digimon raised their eyes in shock.

Back within the Provisional Council chamber, Carson paled as he heard his name spoken by the second Davis, seeing his fellow council members look at him as the raven haired politician mentally questioned in a panic. 'How?! How did he know...?!'

"H... how do you know...?" Tai found he had to ask with growing concern, mostly because the Dark Lord had just called out the name of one of the most prominent members of the DDF Provisional Council as the one responsible for the attack upon them and somehow even knew that name.

Holding out his right hand, Tai and the others then watched as a light green glowing orb appeared within Dark Davis' hand, almost ghostly in appearance, before everyone heard the echoed voices of Carson and Markson discussing the entire operation, much to the shock of the Digidestined, the Digimon, and to the horror of Carson, who all realized that the orb within the Dark Lord's hand was Markson's very soul.

"The dead do not lie." Dark Davis said simply, before clenching his fist as the orb faded, narrowing his eyes upon TK and the others, while Jun, Veemon, Kari and Fire Davis watched on from the side of the group.

Recomposing himself after learning of this revelation, as well as getting over the fact that the Shadow could literally summon the dead, TK looked toward Dark Davis and told him with determination within his tone. "I promise you, Carson will be brought to justice for this, he will stand trial and..."

"And what? One of his puppets gets him off the hook?" Dark Davis inquired as he stood up from his throne, his eyes narrowing upon TK as he then told the Digidestined of Hope. "No, he will face our justice."

"I may not be able to leave Nexus, but..." The Shadow then said, right as a dark portal opened next to him, where the Dark Davis reached in with his right hand.

At the same moment, Carson felt a hand grab the back of his collar as he was pulled backwards and out of his chair, his vision obscured for a moment by darkness, before he slammed into the ground and fell down a series of stairs.

Raising his head, the raven haired politician then staggered backwards on his hands and knees as the six-legged skeletal creatures shrieked at him, before Carson looked in shock to see Takashi and the rest of the Digidestined standing before him with pure shock written on their faces, while the Fire Davis and the Dark Empress glared down at the man who ordered the attack upon them as Carson realized he had been pulled into Nexus.

Back in the DDF Provisional Council room, the remaining members of the council and Carson's bodyguards were left horrified and panicked to see the council member pulled through a dark portal that opened behind him and to now see him on the screen.

His shock then quickly turned into fear, Carson, still on the ground, turned as he saw the Dark Davis walk down the stairs from his throne and approach him, the look of a predator who just found his helpless prey within his eyes.

"Stay back! You... you can't touch me! I demand a fair trial, I...!" Carson screamed as he slowly crawled backward and away from the approaching Shadow, while Fire Davis signalled for everyone else to back up, a suggestion TK and the others complied with, even though the DDF Commander was concerned about the repercussions of what he thought could happen next.

Ignoring Carson's rant, Dark Davis knelt before him, his eyes still holding a dark and malevolent glint within them as he brought up his right hand and snapped his fingers.

Instantaneously, the raven haired politician exploded in blood and body parts, a sight that nearly caused TK and the other DDF members to all but scream from terror, only to stop as Fire Davis held his hand out as he too continued to watch the intense scene before him.

From the Shadow's fingertip, a drop of Carson's blood then dripped onto the floor, where a dark purple energy seal formed upon the ground, and from it, Richard Carson emerged alive and well as the blood and body parts around the area seemed to dissolve into shadows, the sight of which shocking the Digidestined and their Digimon partners even further.

Carson himself even seemed shocked and confused as he moved his hands around his body, the pain of his entire being exploding still fresh in his mind, before refocusing as Dark Davis, who gave a small chuckle.

"A Seal of Resurrection." The Dark Lord informed, adding as he told the council member. "So long as a drop of blood remains, we can bring you back as many times as we want."

About to remark and yell once again, Carson was silenced as the Dark Davis snapped his fingers once again, causing the council member to explode once more and then reappear once the seal reactivated.

"Perhaps I'll have you skinned alive next." The Dark Lord mused as he snapped his fingers, ending Carson's life once again and bringing him back as he continued with his thoughts.

"Or perhaps have you fed to the insect swarms?"

Snap

"Maybe I'll have your bones pulled out of your body next, one digit at a time."

Snap

"Or have you burned alive, letting you watch as your own flesh melts from your body!"

Snap

Watching from the side, the majority of the Digidestined and their Digimon partners shared expressions of horror and disgust as they watched Carson, regardless of his crimes, dying repeatedly before their eyes, while each also unnerved by the growing sadism within the Dark Davis' eyes.

Meanwhile, Kari and the Fire Davis merely watched on with different emotions, with the Dark Empress enjoying the suffering of one of her enemies, while Fire Davis, though enjoying seeing the one who tried to take Kari from him suffer, knew his counterpart was enjoying himself too much.

"Every hour, every day, a new way to die! An eternity of never ending deaths, unable to do anything as you always remember what you tried to take from me!" Dark Davis declared with a deranged look in his eyes, his words causing a few of the Digidestined to look toward Kari, who held a small smirk upon her face.

Panic and horror filled Carson's face, his mind cracking after the several deaths he had just experienced as he tried to plead for forgiveness, but was cut off when Dark Davis then called out. "Zabrik!"

Hearing the sounds of heavy footsteps, the Digidestined, Digimon and Fire Davis looked to the side, where Carson turned his head and nearly passed out to see an eight foot tall skeletal creature with horns on its head and four arms, each with a butcher's cleaver or knife in each hand.

"Fresh meat...!' The creature said in a deep and inhuman voice, freaking out Carson even more, before a pair of guards moved toward him and grabbed his arms, dragging him as they followed the beast out of the chamber, his screams and cries echoing as they left.

"Welcome to Hell, Mr. Carson!" The Shadow declared with a dark glee as he got to his feet, with all his subjects letting out dark chuckles in reply, while everyone else but Kari and Fire Davis remained unnerved by what they had just witnessed.

"I can see why they call this place Hell now…" Matt remarked in a hushed whisper as he remembered what Fire Davis had said when he told Kari about the plan to come here.

Looking back toward TK, Dark Davis then said with a glint in his eyes. "Don't worry, I'll have him returned tomorrow."

Doing his best not to laugh in despair, TK found himself wondering what condition Carson would even be in the next day, believing he would be a shell of the man he once was, which left the Digidestined of Hope wondering if Dark Davis should have killed him instead.

Looking back at his fellow Dark Lord, the Shadow then commanded. "Desred, Sythial, escort our guests to the grand hall and wait with them for the rest to arrive. Myself and those that will remain will join you soon."

"As you wish, my Lord." The female Dark Lord, Sythial, replied with a respectful tone and matching bow, before she and Desred moved away from the throne, the second Dark Lord flapping his wings as he floated a few feet off the ground, where they approached TK and the others as the female Dark Lord made a gesture, the Digidestined and the Digimon quick to follow as they were unsure as to what would happen next.

Looking back, however, TK saw that Fire Davis, Kari, Jun and Veemon remained, where the Fire Champion then informed the Digidestined of Hope. "We'll meet you guys at the grand hall."

Understanding now that this was the group the Shadow wanted to stay behind, TK nodded his head in reply as he continued with the others out of the throne room and followed Dark Davis' allies to their next destination.

Making a gesture with his hand, Dark Davis then watched as the rest of his servants within the chamber also departed, leaving himself and the four others before him all alone.

Turning to face those left with him, Dark Davis looked on as Kari approached him, seeing within her eyes the love and warmth he had longed to see from the love of his life, where the Dark Empress reached up and slid his face mask off, revealing the small smirk he held upon his face.

"I may still have my charming looks, but I can understand if you see me as a monster, as..." The Shadow started to say, only to be silenced as Kari leaned in and kissed him deeply and passionately upon the lips.

Feeling a warmth within him he hadn't felt in a long, long time, Dark Davis wrapped his arms gently around Kari's waist as she continued to kiss him, while the Dark Lord did his best to fight back some of his other emotions and just allowed himself to enjoy the moment.

Watching the scene with uncertainty, Jun and Veemon both turned and looked at Fire Davis, who shrugged to their unasked questions as he merely remarked. "Technically it's not cheating."

Breaking from the kiss and keeping her arms wrapped around him, Kari gently caressed Dark Davis' cheek as she said with nothing but love in her voice. "You aren't a monster, not to me. You're still the man I fell for the day we met."

Turning and reaching her hand toward him, Fire Davis then approached and took Kari's hand as she told them. "On that day, so long ago, I fell in love with Davis Motomiya, and no matter what happens to him, or how many of him there are, I will always love him, this just makes things a little more interesting."

Hearing the love within Kari's tone, Jun couldn't help but smile at knowing that there was someone who truly cared for her brother and would go to such distances for him, leaving the maroon haired girl thankful to have Kari in their lives.

"We'll work out the sleeping arraignments later." Dark Davis then said with a small grin, one that caused Fire Davis to roll his eyes, before the Shadow then moved toward Jun and Veemon, where the older of the Motomiya siblings hugged the second version of her brother tightly.

"I can't even comprehend what you have been through, any of the five of you, for all these years, but I am here for you, Squirt." Jun said with as much love and affection as she could muster within her voice.

"I only hope that whatever resentment or anger you feel is not directed toward me." She then told Dark Davis.

"I made peace with you and our past long ago, my anger remains focused on the others." Dark Davis replied as he let go of his sister and looked upon her with an honest smile, before focusing upon Veemon who held a somewhat nervous expression upon his face.

"Do... Do I count as a part of that?" The Digimon of Miracles found he had to ask, worried that this version of Davis held a grudge against him for one reason or the other.

Kneeling before his Digimon partner however, Dark Davis placed a comforting hand upon Veemon's head and told him with a sincere and trusting tone. "Of all the things in my life, Vee, meeting you was among the greatest moments and I could never hold anything against you, partner."

Tearing up a little, once again feeling the weight of his fears and doubts lifted from his being, Veemon then hugged Dark Davis as the Dark Lord returned the gesture, to allow some peace and tranquility to reign over the moment for a while.

Eventually releasing Veemon and rising back to his feet, Dark Davis then turned to Fire Davis as the fire champion then said to his double. "You should cut the others some slack too. They've been through a lot and went through a lot of trouble to come here and find us."

"They came here so we could fix their problems." The Dark Lord remarked with a scowl, his anger returning as he then told his fiery counterpart. "They wanted us to be the judge and jury so they could put Kari in a cage and prance around, acting like they are the big heroes."

"Do you think, after all this time, after finally being able to hold her in my arms, that I will just let them lock her up for eternity?" Dark Davis then questioned as he looked at his fire double and pointed to Kari, before all but shouting in rage. "I will burn them all before I let them take her from me!"

Clenching his fist and his teeth as he reigned in his anger, Dark Davis then corrected himself as he then said. "... From us."

"Which is why it's not only up to you or me what happens after this." Fire Davis then said as Dark Davis glared at him, where the fire champion then informed his dark counterpart. "All five of us have a right to have a say in what happens next, which is why after we help Kari here, we'll be meeting up with the others."

Chuckling in amusement, Dark Davis gained a grin as he remarked. "All five of us in one place once again, oh, this will be entertaining to say the least."

Around them, Jun and Veemon smiled at the idea of meeting and being with the rest of the Davises, while Kari mentally sighed at the idea of uniting with the remaining copies of her beloved.

Sensing the presence of the others, Dark Davis grinned and then suggested. "Let us go meet with the others, we have a lot of work ahead of us all."

Taking his face mask back from Kari and placing it over his mouth and nose, the Shadow then escorted his counterpart, Kari, Jun and Veemon to meet with the others as the next step in their quest to help Kari was about to begin.
