The next morning and as Miracle's Reach continued to head toward the border to the Water Realm's territory, many of the Digi-heroes and heroines, alongside Henry, Julie, Caleb, Victor and Kenji, were within the airship's cafeteria as they enjoyed the breakfast the cooks prepared for them, even if some wished that one of the Davises was the one doing the cooking.

As many amongst the group of those new to Nexus wondered what they encounter within the Water Realm, some like Takato, Jeri and the other Infected hoped that they would finally find a cure to the virus plaguing them and be rid of the hunger that afflicted them, even if they felt more control over the urge since their arrival within Nexus.

Hearing the door to the cafeteria open, the group first looked to see Rika enter the room, the red hair hybrid seemingly tired and out of place, but otherwise she looked fine.

Bowing politely to everyone and moving to get a cup of coffee, Suzie approached the red haired hybrid, a smile she had rarely used in the past five years upon her face as she asked with sincerity. "Hey, Rika, how are you this morning?"

"Good, good…" Rika merely said in reply as she took a sip of her coffee, the red haired hybrid trying to get her mind together and not to think about the night she just had, or the pleasure, or the…

Hearing the door open once again, everyone then turned to see Kari enter the cafeteria, the Dark Empress holding a dreamy smile upon her face, while those within the room took in her new appearance.

Having no true need for her Dark Lord attire when not in combat, Kari's outfit consisted of a black dress that had golden web-like designs running all along the outfit, while her shadow cloak only draped down her left side, allowing only three of the shadowy spider-like appendages to emerge from the flowing darkness cascading down her back.

Although she kept her crown and her face mask off, the Dark Empress wore a golden gauntlet upon her right hand, a more elegant version of Lilithmon's own, which bore the dark purple gem containing Faustian upon the forehand.

Overall, the new attire gave Kari a more relaxed appearance, yet left her looking regal at the same time.

"Well, how do I look?" The Dark Empress inquired with a continued smile as she noticed the looks she was receiving.

"Not bad." Zoe replied, the Warrior of Wind adding with a sly smirk. "And you seem to be glowing. Did someone get some action last night?"

Hearing the question, Tai started to gag a little on his coffee, the Digidestined of Courage trying not to think about the idea of his sister having sex, a sight that caused many to chuckle in response, before everyone refocused on the Dark Empress, who continued to smile dreamily to the question.

"Maybe…" Kari then said with a small giggle as she moved further into the room, moving next to Rika as she went to get coffee for herself.

At the next moment, the door opened once again, where Fire Davis and Dark Davis then entered the room, the fire champion greeting everyone as he said with a familiar enthusiasm. "Morning!"

While most in the room nodded to the two Davises, Kari grinned as she noticed how Rika tensed up upon hearing Fire Davis' voice, the Dark Empress having no doubt that the red haired hybrid was having flashes from the previous night fill her head.

"You ok, Rika?" The Dark Empress asked almost teasingly, the question earning a small glare from the redhead in reply.

"I'm alright, thank you." Rika merely said back as she turned to face the two Davises, seeing Fire Davis send her a small smile, while Dark Davis held a mischievous glint within his eyes as she felt him smirk behind his face mask.

On the outside, Rika remained calm and acted like her normal self, but on the inside…

'Dai-sama, Dai-sama! Rika's been a good girl! Please bend her over and…' A more perverted side within her mind all but screamed in lust and desire.

Pushing this new perverted side to the back of her mind, while also fighting the fact that her body was becoming aroused just by the presence of both Davises, Rika remained flustered and tried to do what she could to keep herself and her body under control.

But try as she might to act normal, Rika knew the truth, that between Fire Davis' passion and Dark Davis' dominance, as well as having nearly five hours of mind numbing sex, that the red haired hybrid belonged to the two Davises and she loved it.

At the same time, Dark Davis continued to grin as he noticed Rika's tail swaying happily beneath her attire, despite her best attempts to act like her normal self, with the Shadow knowing that he just needs to say the word and Rika would practically drop to her knees and beg him to take her.

But deciding to enjoy the moment, and let Rika squirm a little, Dark Davis sat next to Kari's left, while Fire Davis sat to her right as the trio enjoyed breakfast with their friends.

Completely oblivious to Rika's mental struggle and focusing on the two Davises and Kari, Shoutmon looked to the fire champion and the Shadow as the Digimon King then questioned with understandable curiosity. "So, what is the Water Realm like?"

"Yeah, I don't want to be kept in the dark like we were coming here to the Dark Realm." Matt then cut in, the Digidestined of Friendship still shivering as he remembered the brutal slaughter of the rogue DDF forces, before Gabumon voiced his own thoughts alongside Matt's and then questioned. "We got a little bit of information when we watched the invasion back in the Fire Realm, but is there anything else we should know?"

Listening to the questions, Matt and the others heard deep growls emanating, not only from Fire Davis, Julie, Caleb, Victor and Kenji, but from the gems within the hands of the fire champions, the subject clearly angering Blaze, Phirox and Ferox.

Chuckling toward the reaction of his fiery counterpart and his allies, Dark Davis spoke up.

"While I will leave some info for 'Water Davis' to tell you and taking in what I know you were told by the Fire Lords, the most that I can add is at their core, the Seven Grand Kingdoms of the Water Realm seek to understand the universe and how it works. The Children of Tritonius, the Water Dragon God, value science and logic over spiritual and religious beliefs, while many within the watery realm find emotions and passion as a hindrance in their quest for knowledge and advancement." He told Shoutmon and the others.

'For them, the Multiversal War was a chance to explore the Multiverse, while also gaining resources to continue their research…' Henry then remarked, having had many encounters with the Water Realm Savants while serving under Maligon.

Nodding in response to Henry's words, Dark Davis then returned his focus upon the others and commented. "I'll leave it there and let Water Davis explain more when we meet up with him."

Deadpanning as they realized that they weren't told much more than they already knew about the Water Realm, most amongst the DDF and Dark Imperium grumbled and glared at Dark Davis, who continued to hold a mischievous glint in his eyes to their reactions.

Shaking her head in annoyance and refocusing, Yoshi then changed the subject slightly as she looked upon both Davises and asked with intrigue. "Well then, can you guys at least tell us what Water Davis is like?"

"Yeah, I mean, you two might be the same guy, but your personalities are so different, so what's his deal?" Marcus asked, the brunette voicing the curiosity of many within the room.

Looking upon one another, Fire Davis and Dark Davis shared an understanding expression between them, before the fire champion spoke up.

"Fair enough, only three others in this room have spoken with him, so I guess it's only fair you guys know what to expect with that." He informed in reply.

Looking upon everyone in the cafeteria, Fire Davis then told the others. "I admit, I wasn't the brightest individual back during our time in the Digital World, but if you gave thousands of years to focus on learning and researching, I can probably be one of the smartest people in the world."

"As the Arch-Savant, the champion of the Water Emperor, our watery counterpart sees the world with a scientific mind, processing information and running trillions of scenarios in his head in the blink of an eye in order to predict the best outcome in any situation." Dark Davis then informed, his words causing most in the room to look upon him with shock and awe.

"He sounds like a human version of Quantummon!" Kiyoshiro exclaimed in shock, which only furthered itself. "But a human mind shouldn't be capable of processing that kind of information like that!"

"And that's the beauty of the Water Realm's cybernetic technology." The Shadow remarked, adding as he looked at the silver haired boy. "The implants our water counterpart has pretty much make him a living quantum computer, allow him access to the vast knowledge residing within their Network and the ability to come up with solutions at a faster pace than most humans could."

"Unfortunately, due to the same implants, his social skills have sort of devolved to that of a computer." Fire Davis commented, before adding with a small chuckle. "So, while he will greet you, don't expect him to have our charm."

"I don't know." Zoe then remarked, the blonde's words getting the Davises attention as she sent a sly grin in Kari's direction and suggested. "Maybe he just needs a certain someone to break his new shell."

Hearing this comment, a few of the girls giggled lightly, Rika was left in a daze as she envisioned another Davis joining the nightly pleasure, which left her a little horny, and Kari merely smirked at the idea of being in bed with all of her beloveds simultaneously.

At the next moment, the atmosphere within the room changed when the cafeteria doors opened once again, revealing TK and Patamon, where everyone could see the look of frustration and annoyance upon the face of the DDF Commander.

At the same time, the group also noticed Patamon holding his hand out to the side, as though informing someone with them to remain there until they were called in as the Digidestined and Digimon of Hope entered the room.

Looking around with a serious expression, TK then expelled a small sigh of frustration as he informed everyone. "So, Gennai returned to the Provisional Council and explained everything that happened, verifying that Kari and the Dark Imperium forces that have travelled to Nexus are now stuck here."

"However, more than half of the Council is still not satisfied with this and are demanding further actions be taken." The blond Digidestined then commented, his words shocking and angering many within the room.

"Excuse me?!" Takuya asked in anger as he pulled himself to his feet and asked with a growing annoyance. "We are stuck here and unable to ever go home again, what the hell more do they want from us?!"

Sighing in reply, TK looked to the Warrior of Fire and informed him. "Some of the members that were allied with Carson have convinced the others that this is all a ploy and when the moment comes, the Veil will be torn down and the Dark Imperium will strike at us again with the Dark Realm's power at their side. They've used this line of thinking to convince some major world leaders to put pressure on the DDF to have more oversight over all of this."

Listening to what TK had just said, most present, especially those among the DDF, were left with a shared sense of shock and anger.

The war was finally over, yet the higher ups wanted it to continue in any way possible.

"I told them that I was keeping an eye on all of this, but those who sided with Carson feel I am 'too close' to the matter." The Digidestined of Hope told the others with a growl, before Patamon added as he told the others. "As such, they have sent a secondary commander to help keep an eye on Kari."

"Do I need to remind them of what I am capable of?" Dark Davis then questioned with his own frustration, where many within the room then shivered as they remembered what had happened to Carson.

Holding his hand out, TK replied with an urgent tone. "No, no, that would only make things worse."

Seeing the Shadow stand down, TK sighed once again and continued in his explanation. "Fortunately, Hashima, Gennai, Sampson and Yamaki had a say in who was sent. He's someone we all know and is on our side in this matter."

Seeing the relief upon most of the group's faces, the Digidestined of Hope then left the group with a sense of confusion as he looked upon Kari with concern and pleaded. "Kari, please, please do not kill them."

Looking upon Kari, who held a confused expression, Fire Davis and Dark Davis then looked as Patamon gestured for whoever was waiting outside to enter, before two individuals then made their presence known for everyone to see, where everyone from the Digital World had mixed emotions toward the pair.

The first was a young man around TK's age, dressed in a DDF commander's outfit and had blond hair and blue eyes, while beside the young man was his Digimon partner, the sight of which surprised both Davises as they easily recognized the pair and stood up to greet them.

"Michael, Betamon!" Fire Davis said with a friendly smile, expressing a welcoming kindness to seeing the American Digidestined he had befriended all those years ago, the friendly side of the fire champion further expressing itself as he looked over Michael's partner and caused Betamon to beam with joy to see the two Davises before him.

Blinking as he took Fire Davis' hand and shook it, while also looking between the fire champion and Dark Davis, Michael then chuckled a little as he confessed. "Wow, I read the reports, but to actually see that there are two of you is something else. And to know that there are three more out there is an entirely other thing to get used to."

About to comment more and ask how Michael and Betamon had been, both Davises then sensed a powerful killer intent within the room and quickly turned to the source, to see Kari now surrounding herself within a powerful dark aura as everyone from the DDF and Dark Imperium around her quickly moved away in fear.

The pleasant mood Kari had expressed not so long ago had been erased and was now replaced by pure rage and a sense of hatred.

Gulping lightly, Michael bowed respectively toward the Dark Empress as he started to say with a mustered respect. "Kari, I…"

But before the American Digidestined could speak any further, Kari's eyes glowed with a dark purple light as dark energy began to form within her right hand, the Dark Empress ready to lunge at and kill Michael without a second thought.

"Kari, wait!" Tai called out quickly as he moved to stop his sister, the Digidestined of Courage followed by a few others from both factions as they tried to calm Kari down, while TK quickly grabbed Michael and pulled him out of the cafeteria as Patamon and Betamon quickly followed.

Looking between Kari, to see the rage upon her face, and where Michael once stood, both Davises looked upon one another, before following their fellow Digidestined in search of answers.

Hearing the heavy footsteps behind them, TK, Michael and their Digimon partners turned to see Fire Davis and Dark Davis approaching them, the pair looking upon the American Digidestined and expressing their shared confusion. "What did you do?!"

Remaining with a growing nervousness, Michael looked to TK first, who merely nodded in response to the unasked question, where the American Digidestined sighed and faced the two Davises before him.

"Three years ago, before we learned you were alive, it was one of the high points in the war." Michael began to say, explaining the reason for Kari's resentment. "The DDF was starting to lose the war and Kari's wrath was tearing apart everything in her path, all in anger over your death."

"So… I suggested an idea, one I am still not proud of, but I thought it was the best solution to try and end things peacefully." Michael then informed, his nervousness growing as he gulped lightly and told the fire champion and the Shadow. "I proposed that we use the mind tech of a few Ebemon to erase Kari's memory of you, to wipe you from her mind and make it as though you didn't exist in order to end her grief and bring peace to the Digital World."

There was a brief moment of silence as both Davises just stared at him, which only intensified Michael's fear, before they skyrocketed when Fire Davis looked upon his dark counterpart and offered with a hint of rage in his tone. "You skin him and I'll burn what remains."

"Deal!" Dark Davis said with a shared anger within his emotion as he summoned Shadow's Wrath.

However, TK quickly moved before them and held a hand out to stop the Shadow, while Michael waved his hand frantically before him, the panicky gesture Michael hoped would calm the rage he knew the copies of his friend would most likely express.

"It was a stupid idea and one that backfired spectacularly!" Michael then confessed as he took the blame, a growing resentment and self-shame reflected within as he told the Davises. "That power within Kari protected her from the Ebemon's tech, and when she realized what we were trying to do, everyone in my unit was slaughtered, including the other American Digidestined and their Digimon partners. Betamon and I barely escaped with our lives."

"Since then, the two of us have not only been targets for the Dark Imperium, but black sheep in the eyes of the rest of the DDF. The only reason I have the rank I have was because Carson thought he could use me to run some of his black ops projects." The American Digidestined then said, before adding as he looked toward the Davises and pleaded. "I messed up and I must live with that, but I want to set things right. The council wants me to be a second set of eyes here, but as fair as I care, everything is fine now and I am not going to try to ruin things just because some greedy assholes want things to remain the same. I promise, I won't let them ruin things for you or for Kari."

Sensing the determination and the honesty within Michael's words, Fire Davis put his hand on Dark Davis' and had him lower his sword, before the fire champion then said with a firm seriousness. "Alright, but you are going to have to prove yourself, Michael, and not just to us."

Michael nodded in reply, knowing that he would have to work to earn back the trust of his old friend and the rest of the Digi-heroes, but the American Digidestined was determined to do so.

Glowingly lightly, however, Dark Davis put Shadow's Wrath away, turned and began to walk away, his actions causing Fire Davis to question. "Where are you going?"

"I still feel like hitting something." The Shadow told his fiery counterpart, before he re-entered the cafeteria and found that everyone had managed to calm Kari down, before Dark Davis turned his eyes upon the Appli Drivers, Team Lirurun and their Appmon and Digimon partners.

"All of you, find Arcturusmon and meet me below the airship, I promised him a fight and I want to see what all of you are capable of!" The Shadow declared as he turned and left, his words leaving the two groups, along with everyone else in the room, surprised and somewhat afraid of what a spar with Dark Davis would entail.

.

.

.

Roughly an hour later and with the airship hovering in the air above, most of the DDF and Dark Imperium heroes and heroines, alongside Fire Davis, Kari, Henry, Julie, Caleb, Victor and Kenji stood around a small rock formation as they watched the sight before them, seeing Dark Davis on one side and the Appli Drivers and Team Lirurun, accompanied by Arcturusmon on the other.

As per the Shadow's request, the groups' Digimon and Appmon partners evolved for this spar, with Siriusmon, Diarbbitmon and Amphimon standing by Arcturusmon's side, while Hiro, Ruli and Kiyoshiro were once again safely upon HoverEspimon's back as to support their partners.

Next to the group, the Appmon had all changed into their Ultimate forms, believing that changing into their God Forms would only cause some issues due to their immense sizes, and thus, Globemon, Oujamon, Entermon, Revivemon, Shutmon and Bootmon stood ready to prove their strength against the Shadow, while Haru and his friends also stood nearby and too acted as emotional support.

Out of the corner of her eyes, meanwhile, Kari continued to glare upon and held a sense of resentment toward Michael, the Dark Empress still feeling her hatred remaining toward the American Digidestined and for what he tried to do to her, to erase her memories of Davis, and then to try and make it as though her beloved never existed to begin with.

And that alone angered Kari more than anything, that after all he had done for the Digital World and for the Real Worlds, they just wanted to write Davis off like he was nothing.

There was a part of Kari which knew she would never forgive Michael or the DDF for that, for trying to take away the man she loved from her memory and to force her to live a life without having ever known him, and she would never forget what they tried to do either.

Feeling Fire Davis tighten his hold on her hand, however, Kari looked upon the fiery variant of her lover, who continued to look upon the Shadow and the two groups of Digi-heroes who were about to spar with him, the Dark Empress then expelled a soft and gentle sigh, knowing that Fire Davis wanted her to calm down as he further expressed his emotional support in his own way.

It would take time, but now that she had her Davises with her, the Dark Empress knew she would get past her hatred of Michael and the DDF leadership in the end.

Looking upon Fire Davis, however, Kari was confused by the concern the fire champion was expressing upon his face as he muttered almost silently. "Don't do it, don't do it, don't do it…"

"Now then." The Shadow then commented as his full helmet formed upon his head and Shadow's Wrath appeared in his right hand, where he pointed it toward the group of Digimon and Appmon as he said with a dark glee in his tone. "Show me what you are capable of."

Taking a leadership role over his friends and allies, Hiro started to inform the others. "Ok, we need a strategy to…"

"Screw that! Just stay out of my way!" Arcturusmon bellowed with a wicked laugh as he launched himself straight for Dark Davis, the GRB and the Dark Mana within the Dark Digimon coating his drills as he believed he could strike down the Shadow with one single and devastating strike.

"Black Death!" He declared as he brought his drill forward with a dark laugh, which quickly turned into surprise as the Shadow easily blocked the strike with his sword, treating Arcturusmon's own power as though it was nothing against his own.

"Is that all you have to muster?" Dark Davis then questioned with a small chuckle, edging Arcturusmon on as the Dark Digimon flew into a fit of rage, where he and the Shadow began moving at speeds most could barely keep up with.

Trying to strike at his opponent, Arcturusmon continued to place more and more of his dark power within his movements, while Dark Davis seemed amused and easily repelled the further onslaught of the Dark Digimon.

Looking upon one another, the rest of Team Lirurun and the Appli Drivers nodded in shared agreement, before the Digimon and Appmon rushed in to join the battle themselves.

'I can't believe we're in a situation where we'd actually help Arcturusmon.' Kiyoshiro thought in disbelief and hinted with a further sense of fear.

'Show that fake that We're the real deal here!' The voice of GulusGammamon then shouted within Siriusmon's mind as he found the sight of his dark doppelganger's eventual defeat as one of humiliation.

"Cosmic Sword!"

"Trusgain!"

"Thunder Break!"

"Sword Cutter!"

"Golden Fang!"

"Portee Melos!"

"Saviour Beam!"

"Luna Impulse!"

"Sun Knuckle!"

Combining their offensive strategy with Arcturusmon, the group of Digimon and Appmon tried to strike at the Shadow, who easily parried or swatted the series of attacks away as though they were nothing, the sight of which continued to shock those watching and left many in awe to witnessing the sheer power Dark Davis wielded on his own.

"Prodigious! He's fighting the equivalent of ten Mega level Digimon all on his own." Izzy remarked with his own sense of awe as he continued to watch the battle rage in front of him.

'And he's still holding back…' Henry then added nonchalantly, his remark causing many among the group to look at him with surprise.

"Don't do it, don't do it…" Fire Davis continued to murmur under his breath as he watched the battle, his silent concerns causing Kari to look upon Fire Davis with an understandable confusion as she wondered what it was he didn't want his dark counterpart to do.

Growingly in frustration as he and Siriusmon clashed blades with the Shadow, who easily pushed the attacks aside, where Arcturusmon then yelled with a growing rage. "Stay out of this, all of you! This is my fight, my chance to prove myself, to prove I am the strongest! The strong who devours the weak!"

"Oh, is that your philosophy?" Dark Davis asked with a sense of amusement as crossed blades with Globemon and Diarbbitmon without even looking in their direction, before grabbing the rabbit knight Digimon by the face, turning him and slamming his body into Globemon, sending both flying backward and crashing into Entermon and Oujamon, the four falling to the ground with a powerful crash.

Continuing to look upon Arcturusmon, Dark Davis then commented with further wickedness. "I admit, I've never eaten a Digimon before, but it sounds like it would be an interesting experience."

Taking in the Shadow's words and hearing that he would devour him, Arcturusmon flew into a further fit of rage, desiring only to bring Dark Davis down and show that he was the superior one, where a vast majority of energy gathered within his drill as he prepared to unleash his final and most destructive attack.

Sensing how strong their opponent was and knowing that they all needed to work together, the Digimon of Team Lirurun and the Appmon worked together and unleashed everything they had against Dark Davis.

"Black Confession!"

"Quasar Break!"

"Twin Spear Pursuit!"

"Frozen Crystal!"

"Shining Gazer!"

"Golden Fang!"

"Portee Melos!"

"Saviour Beam!"

"Luna Impulse!"

"Sun Knuckle!"

Remaining united, unleashing their attacks simultaneously and striking from every angle they could, the ten Digimon and Appmon sent forth their combined energies toward the Shadow, who remained standing in place as the attacks collided.

Due to the combination of powerful and unstable energies clashing and combining, there was a massive explosion, which concerned many within the area to the condition of Dark Davis.

"You idiots! We weren't supposed to kill him!" Eri all but screamed with a great sense of fear and concern, mostly out of fear of what Kari would do to them if the Shadow was seriously hurt or worse.

"Don't do it, don't do it!" Fire Davis merely said as he grit his teeth, part of him continuing to pray that his dark counterpart would not use THAT now.

However, much to the fire champion's annoyance and the shock of almost everyone else, a powerful sense of dread swept throughout the area, followed by a darkness that shot out from the smoke, crushing the ground beneath and forcing the Digimon and Appmon to quickly move away as the darkness began to swirl around, which was followed by a dark and malevolent chuckle.

"Now that was amusing, but it's time to get serious." The voice of the Shadow then said, only this time, it held a darker and more ominous vibe within as the darkness faded, revealing a shocking sight to all save Fire Davis, Julie, Caleb and Henry.

Now several feet taller than he previously was in comparison, Dark Davis now appeared to be made completely out of Dark Mana, his body composed of dark purple energy with a shadowy cloak coming down his back and a dark purple flame radiated from out of the top of his head and flowed like a dark mane in the air, this giving the Shadow a dark and wicked appearance, as though he was now a being of pure darkness.

"What the heck is that?!" Takuya questioned through a combination of confusion and concern as he saw the change within Dark Davis, the Warrior of Flame sensing his power skyrocket in just a few moments.

"This is my Mana form, an ability only the five of us have as Champions of the Rulers of Nexus. We become beings of pure Mana and have near unlimited power at our fingertips for a time." Dark Davis said in reply as he flexed his right hand, clenching his fist and allowed his dark energy to flow around it.

Turning his attention toward Fire Davis, Kazu then questioned. "Wait, you can do that too? Why haven't you used it yet?"

'Because he's a raging lunatic in that form with no control over himself…' Henry said in response, the Wraith looking to see Fire Davis glaring at him, where the ghostly Tamer then went on to say. 'Don't give me that look… I still have nightmares from the time I had to run the last time I saw you in your Mana Form…'

Shaking his head in frustration about being reminded of the last time he was forced to work with Maligon in a joint defense of the Fire Realm and Dark Realm from a Light Realm assault, Fire Davis refocused his attention upon the battle as Dark Davis held his Mana infused hand outward and drew his finger at his opponents.

"Now then, let me show you all the true meaning of fear!" The Shadow declared as a series of shadowy tendrils shot from his hand and upon the Digimon and Appmon facing him.

Although everyone just managed to dodge the attack, the intense energies of the darkness could be felt and left a chill within the Shadow's opponents.

As he refocused, Arcturusmon then felt a sense of dread as he realized that Dark Davis had appeared behind him, his shadow cloak now resembling wings as he looked upon the Dark Digimon, who turned to strike at his foe with his drill.

However, much to the horror of the Dark Digimon, Arcturusmon watched as not only did the Shadow grab his still spinning drill, but he then crushed it to bits within his tightening grasp.

Furthering in Arcturusmon's humiliation, Dark Davis delivered a swift and powerful kick to the Dark Digimon, the impact and force of the attack sending Arcturusmon crashing before Siriusmon and the others, a sight that shocked and horrified many watching.

When the dust cleared, the DDF and Dark Imperium members looked in shock to see Arcturusmon's damaged form on the ground, the Dark Digimon barely able to move as his body twitched and writhed in evident pain.

Seeing one of their oldest foes taken down so easily, the Appmon and the Digimon of Team Lirurun slowly looked upon the Shadow with shared terror and concern as the Dark Mana infused being began to slowly approach them.

Their fears growing to the presence of the Shadow, Siriusmon and the others could see the very shadows of the ground, move and come to life around Dark Davis, before forming tendrils of darkness, while darkness gathered within the Shadow's palm and transformed into a larger and more terrifying version of Shadow's Wrath.

"I don't want to die!" Kiyoshiro screamed in panic, the silver haired genius gripping tighter to HoverEspimon and pleading with further cowardice. "Protect me, Ampimon-sama!"

Growling to himself and to the events playing out, Fire Davis was not going to just sit back and watch his dark counterpart torture their new friends just so he could blow off some steam over what they had learned in regard to what the DDF had tried to do to Kari's mind.

If his dark variant wanted a real spar, then the fire champion would give him one.

Feeling Fire Davis release his hold over her hand and turning to face the fire counterpart, Kari wondered what was wrong with her fiery lover, only for her eyes to then widen upon seeing the great flames building within his eyes.

"I admit, this was fun, but to be fair, you were all just an excuse for me to blow off some steam, so I hope none of you take this personally." The Shadow then informed the Appmon and Team Lirurun, each of whom held a further fear within their expressions as Dark Davis then swung his dark energy blade and sent forth a shockwave of energy toward the group, who braced themselves for the pain they were about to feel.

Before the energy could collide with their beings, however, the two groups of Digi-heroes were then shocked as what looked like a meteor crashed on the ground before them, the intense heat blocking the dark energy attack, while the Shadow chuckled in amusement.

"Finally." Dark Davis remarked as the flames died down and to reveal that Fire Davis now stood before him.

With his helmet back on, Fire Davis' entire body looked as if it was made from molten rock and fire, which gave the fire champion a powerful and imposing stature.

Likewise, and similar to Dark Davis' own stature, four more arms, each made of lava extended out of the fire champion's back.

Expressing his raw power, the fire champion let out a fearsome and inhuman roar toward his dark counterpart, the sight leaving many in silent awe to see the two Davises now within their Mana forms and facing off against one another.

"Ok, you guys grab that egotistical idiot and get out of there! You do not want to be stuck between them fighting!" Caleb called out to the Appmon and Team Lirurun, who quickly did as they were told.

As Siriusmon and Globemon quickly flew over, picked up Arcturusmon from off of the ground, carrying him away from the intense conflict, the two groups retreated to the safety area and back amongst the rest of their friends and allies, watching with a group silence as the two Davises went at it.

Letting out another fearsome roar and showing that his rage and inner fire were getting the better of his judgement, Fire Davis charged at Dark Davis, who brought his dark energy sword up as he dashed toward his fiery counterpart, their attacks meeting in the middle as the Shadow clashed his blade with Fire Davis' lava arms, each strike sending out shockwaves of energy.

"Holy crap, this is intense!" Terriermon all but screamed as he held onto Suzie for dear life so that he wouldn't be blown away.

From the sidelines, everyone watched as the two Mana infused forms of the Davises fought each other with a sense of unstoppable power.

Remaining with a look of intrigue, however, and watching the two variants of her lover spar, Kari chuckled lightly, her laughter gaining the attention of almost everyone around her as she then commented lightheartedly. "They are just sparing, neither are taking this seriously, they're just blowing off steam."

Continuing to clash against one another, the two power forces of Fire Mana and Dark Mana continued to clash against each other, both Davises sparring further as the pair sent forth blasts of fire and dark energy upon one another, before closing the distance as fiery fists struck against shadowy claws and blades.

"He said they could only use this power for a time, how long is that exactly?!" Thomas questioned with understandable concern as he looked at Julie and Caleb, the blond haired DATS officer remaining with worry as to how long this fight could last and the damage it could potentially cause.

"About an hour!" Julie replied as she shielded her eyes briefly from the dust that was flying from the attack, her reply horrifying many as they realized how bad this fight could get, while Kari had to keep herself from rushing in and stopping her lovers before they hurt one another too much.

Landing a few feet from one another, Dark Davis and Fire Davis prepared to give each other one more powerful strike, where the Shadow's blade turned back into darkness and formed into a massive sphere of dark purple energy within his clawed hand, while the fire champion brought his hands together and formed a massive fireball within his grasp.

Moving simultaneously, the two Davises then charged at one another, the duo ready to strike at each other with their attacks, while the spectators braced themselves for the impact.

But before they could deliver their strikes, however, Dark Davis and Fire Davis came to a halt as a massive wall of blue energy formed between them, the sight surprising all as the DDF and Dark Imperium members recognized the energy as an energy shield of the Water Realm.

Looking to the side, the Mana forms of the two Davises saw that the wall was being projected by a Water Realm drone, one similar to the ones the newcomers to Nexus saw during the Water Realm Invasion of the Fire Realm they witnessed.

"Of course, just when things were getting good." Dark Davis remarked with a small sense of frustration as he and Fire Davis reverted from their Mana forms, the fire champion panting lightly from the exhausting effort of keeping himself under control in his other form, before watching as the intruding drone dropped its shield, flew down and before the Shadow, where it projected a holographic screen before him that seemed to be showing a message.

Waving to Kari and the others and signaling them to come over and that it was indeed safe, Fire Davis then waited for everyone to arrive, including the injured Arcturusmon, before he looked at his dark counterpart with curiosity.

"So, what does the Arch-Savant want?" The fire champion asked with a fair interest, knowing that his water counterpart had sent the drone to find them and deliver whatever message he wanted relayed.

Looking over the message, Dark Davis then informed his fiery counterpart and the others. "So first, he sent coordinates as to where we will be rendezvousing with him, and second, he has a request for the DDF to bring something to him."

Confused, TK and Michael, as the highest ranking members of the DDF present, looked at one another, before the Digidestined of Hope asked in understanding. "Sure. So, what exactly does he need?"

Looking over the message, Dark Davis raised his eyebrow as he informed in reply. "Ten tons of uranium."

To this request, everyone from the Digital World, as well as Fire Davis and Henry, blinked in confusion and concern as they wondered what Water Davis wanted with the nuclear material, while Julie, Caleb, Victor and Kenji just held a shared confusion within their expressions.

"Did he say why?" The fire champion then questioned, his words only causing the Shadow to shake his head in response.

"Nope, but one, uranium is not found in Nexus." Dark Davis said back in reply, his words surprising some like Izzy and Thomas, before the Shadow added. "And two, whatever he needs it for, you can be sure it'll be interesting."

Still confused and remaining concerned, TK and Michael looked toward Fire Davis, who just shrugged his shoulders in reply, the two DDF Commanders remained wondering what awaited them all within the Water Realm and what would occur within.
