Unleashing their firepower, the various undersea battleships, cruisers, drones and manta ray fighters of the Water Realm released a barrage of plasma energy upon the aberration, while the shark mounted troopers quickly moved around the beast and unleashed their own bombardment upon the beast, which shrieked in anger and annoyance.

At the same time and during the assault, the D-Brigade Digimon unleashed their own forms of attack upon the beast, the Commandramon, Hi-Commandramon and Tankdramon opening fire upon the aberration, before the Cargodramon moving in and quickly picking up their allies as their foe flailed about, the wretched being crushing the rock formations the military Digimon were stationed upon.

Moving in and aiding their allies, the Brigadramon quickly flew around the aberration and released thousands of bullets per second at its scaly hide, before pointing their left arms at the beast as their claws opened and a barrage of missiles rained down upon their foe.

Adding their own might to the onslaught, Blaze unleashed a barrage of missiles at the aberration, which was followed by cannon blasts from Ferox and fire blasts from Phirox, the trio of Fire creatures desiring to power their own might to the temporary allies in the Water Realm as their fiery attacks rushed through the waters unharmed and slammed into the aberration's body.

Nearby, Belezar brought his hands up and unleashed a barrage of dark energy blasts, while Kurdoss flew around the aberration, spewing a ghost flame upon his foe's being in an attempt to harm up, combining his efforts with Belezar's own as they pair worked together for the first time since being partnered with the Shadow and the Wraith.

All the while, Faustian remained next to Belezar, the second Shadow Demon waiting and observing, keeping his eye upon the aberration as he waited for the right moment to strike.

At the same time, those newer to Nexus got their first look at Cybrian in action, watching as the Cyber Avatar moved at near impossible speeds through the water, his crystal-like spikes glowing with a blue energy that was then unleashed upon the creature that had been causing so much trouble in this area of the Water Realm, before firing a volley of blue plasma energy from his hands as he quickly avoided the beasts tentacles.

Joining in the fight themselves, the heroes and heroines of the DDF and Dark Imperium then moved to attack, the humans using their DSF subs and firing plasma blasts upon the beast, while the Digimon and Appmon combined their efforts to take the aberration down.

Working together and remaining united, Omnimon, GrandGoldramon, Gryphomon, MetalSeadramon, Phoenixmon, Ophanimon: DM, TyrantVeedramon, Rosemon, HerculesKabuterimon, Vikemon, Submarimon, Aquilamon, Stingmon, ShadowGallantmon, Rika, Justimon, HiAndromon, Cythllamon, Antylamon, Susanoomon, ShineGreymon: BM, Rosemon: BM, MirageGaogamon: BM, Ravemon: BM, OmniShoutmon, ZekeGreymon, Arresterdramon: SM, JetMervamon, Tuwarmon, Cho-Hakkaimon, Gaiamon, Posidemon, Ouranosmon, Hadesmon, Rebootmon, Siriusmon, Diarbbitmon, Amphimon, HoverEspimon and Arcturusmon unleashed a powerful onslaught upon the aberration's face, an attack that would normally wipe out even the most powerful of foes as the creature's face was consumed within an almighty blast.

But much to the shock and horror of those newer to Nexus, the smoke quickly cleared as the aberration expelled a rage filled and fearsome roar, pushing the cloud wave with a powerful force, before the shadows that made up its back fins morphed and became a series of dark dragon heads, which unleashed a series of powerful blasts, each a mixture of Dark and Water Mana as they fired wildly all around the chasm.

Moving quickly, the ambush forces quickly scattered to avoid being hit by the attacks, while one of the Water Realm's cruisers ended up being grabbed by the beast's hand, where it was quickly crushed by the beast's might.

"Nothing seems to be working here!" Astora all but screamed into the comms as he quickly manoeuvred his DSF to avoid being crushed by the aberration's tentacles and rock debris from the chasm, the Apptuber than questioning through his panic. "What the heck is this thing even made of?! So not groovy!"

Looking over the data from his position within the Cyber Fortress, Water Davis began to speak as he explained to the group. "The creature appears to have an exoskeleton that is hard enough to reflect most of our attacks, it might be prudent to…"

Before the Arch-Savant could continue, however, the aberration expelled another roar as it straightened its body, spreading its arms and turning its head upwards as its lower jaws spread even wider.

It was then that, much to even Water Davis' surprise, that everyone watched as the aberration's chest spread open, splitting into six spikes as a wave of bones and skeletons spewed out from the opening, a collection of various sea creatures, as well as the remains of Water Realm citizens the creature had eaten in the past.

Barely a moment later, the bones and skeletons then glowed with a dark aura as the eye sockets of the skulls glowed with a dark purple light, before the remains either came to life or came together to form horrid abominations, which began to spread out and attack the undersea Armada.

"Interesting." Water Davis remarked as he looked over the scene and the data, where he then began to say through theory. "The aberration is regurgitating its previous victims and utilizing Dark Mana to form a collective force that…"

"English!" Michael yelled through the comms as he refused to have a complicated answer to the horrific sight before him.

"It's throwing up everything it ever ate and raising them as an undead army." Fire Davis then said in reply, his words causing a few among the Digi-heroes and heroines to express their disgust. "Eeww!"

"Isn't that what I was explaining?" Water Davis then questioned as he looked to his fiery counterpart, who sighed and told the Arch-Savant with an understanding expression. "Yes, but remember, not everyone thinks on your level, so try and use smaller words."

Back outside the Cyber Fortress, the newly risen swarm of undead sea life surged toward their foes, the dreaded creatures struck at the unified hunting forces which caused the Water Realm ships, creatures and drones to retaliate.

Opening fire upon the risen dead, while also moving out of the way to avoid being overwhelmed by their new attackers, a great battle had begun.

"Come and get some, you rotting freaks!" Blaze yelled with a primal fury as he rushed towards several larger undead creatures that rushed towards him, amalgamations of bones from whales and even cyber dragons as the Fire Dragon slammed his fists into several of the creatures' faces, before moving back as he unleashed a powerful blast of fiery energy, destroying several more of the undead creatures in the process.

"Hey, save some targets for the rest of us!" Ferox bellowed as he moved by Blaze's side and unleashed his own barrage upon the undead swarm, while Phirox flew around her comrades and set form a stream of fire upon her foes as she joined her allies in battle.

"Hell no! I had to sit around and watch while everyone else got to fight back in the Dark Realm! I'm cutting loose!" Blaze yelled in reply, the partner of Fire Davis still annoyed that he had to miss out on such a fight and let Belezar take all the glory while he was stuck with his partner watching that fool of a vampire get his ass handed to him.

About ready to unleash his wrath upon a fresh wave of enemies rushing toward him and his allies, Blaze then growled with a fair frustration as a barrage of blue energy quickly struck the undead down, where the trio of Fire Creatures turned to see Cybrian float down and beside them.

"I will never understand how Fire Creatures can act so reckless and carefree." The Cyber Avatar commented as he quickly brought his hands out, forming a protective energy shield around himself, Blaze, Phirox and Ferox as several undead sea dragons unleashed attacks upon the group, the shield easily repelling the attacks and keeping the group safe.

"And with your damn computer mind, you never will!" Blaze yelled in reply as he unleashed his own attack upon the undead dragons, shattering their forms as the Fire Dragon rushed into battle, while Cybrian merely shook his head in response to the Dragon's actions.

Despite being from two opposing Realms, Blaze and Cybrian had never fought against one another due to the bond between their partners.

However, neither viewed the other as an equal, and thus a small rivalry came into existence between the Fire Dragon and Cyber Avatar, one that has lasted over the past twenty thousand years and would not die down any time soon.

Within another part of the battle, a swarm of undead sea life rushed toward Faustian, the mindless horde of skeletal beings seeking to rip the Shadow Demon apart and to feed his remains to the aberration.

However, Faustian remained unfazed as the Shadow Demon merely waved his hand, watching as the undead coming towards him quickly dissolved into dust, leaving only several undead whales and dragons, where Faustian then brought his hand forward as a series of dark tendrils shot out of his palm and wrapped around his foes, the darkness consuming them as they dissolve into nothingness.

All around, those who watched the Shadow Demon in action were shocked and impressed by Faustian's power, while some amongst the D-Brigade were slightly concerned by the sight and knowing that this being was allied with the Dark Empress.

Hearing a faint roar, Faustian looked to his side as Kurdoss flew toward him, the ghostly Death Dragon circling around his ally, before glaring into the Shadow Demon's eyes.

Despite what the Wraith might claim, Faustian knew that the Death Dragon did indeed have a voice, it merely required the right knowledge to hear his voice.

'You were such a feeble acolyte… always with your head in your books… how do you have such power…?!' Kurdoss questioned through his link amongst his fellow Dark kin, the Death Dragon unable to understand why Faustian held such power within him.

"There is power in books, if one accepts humility first." Faustian said in reply, adding as he merely moved his hand to the side and dissolved more undead sea life. "I have given myself fully to our Dark Father and his will, and he has seen many great things with the Dark Empress, and I will see his will done."

'Indeed… I look forward to seeing this for myself…' Kurdoss then said, the Death Dragon also curious to see what will become of Kari now that his partner's role in the Dark Emperor's plans has come to fruition, freeing both the Wraith and himself to see the grand designs of Mordrakus and the other Dragon Gods.

Refocusing upon the battle, however, Kurdoss flew back into the fight, the ghostly hands emerging from his back lashing out and crushing many of the undead sea life in the process.

Nearby and able to move freely due to his ghostly form, Henry quickly moved through the water and cut down a large number of his foes, the ghostly Dark Lord chuckling as most of the undead sea life was unable to harm him due to his spectral form.

However, noticing several undead sea dragons rushing toward him, the Wraith took a more serious stance and knew that the Dark Mana within their fiery breaths would be able to damage his being.

But before his enemies could strike, Henry looked surprised as a series of plasma blasts struck down the attackers, the sight causing the Wraith to turn and see two of the DSFs coming toward him, along with Antylamon, this allowing Henry to know who had come to his aid.

"Don't worry Henry, we're here to back you up!" Terriermon yelled from the cockpit of one of the DSFs, the sight causing the Wraith to raise an eyebrow in slight confusion.

'Terriermon…? How are you even piloting that…?' Henry found himself questioning as he knew that a DSF was not made for being of his Digimon partner's size.

"I got a Commandramon helping me in here." The rabbit-like Digimon informed in reply as he looked and nodded to the cyborg Digimon whose lap he was sitting on, the Commandramon giving Terriermon a friendly thumbs up as he helped with the control.

"I might not be able to Digivolve until we can get your D-Power here, but that doesn't mean I can't fight alongside my partner!" Terriermon then declared, his words causing Henry to smirk behind his ghostly mask.

"We are not running and hiding, Henry, not after finally finding you again, so you better get used to us coming to your aid!" Suzie then declared from her own DSF, her words earning a nod of agreement from Antylamon, who turned her gaze upon the Wraith with an expression that let him know that there was no room for arguments.

Chuckling lightly to himself, Henry turned and faced the next wave of enemies as he told his sister and their Digimon with a small hint of both concern and respect. 'Just don't die on me… as you already know, death is not the end here in Nexus… and I do not want you three to become a part of it…'

Giving their affirmation, the two DSFs and Antylamon rushed after Henry as he took off to fight more of the undead swarm, each eager to end this battle quickly and to move on with their journey through Nexus.

However, and much to the frustration of many within the Armada, not only were the undead swarm causing a handful of issues, with many of the skeletal beings reforming after being broken apart, but the aberration itself was still a major problem as the creature swung its arms, tail, tendrils and shadowy dragon heads, destroying several more Water Realm cruisers and a flight of manta ray fighters and drones as the beast continued its rampage.

Within Submarimon, who did his best to dodge the attacks of the aberration, Cody activated his comms device and spoke to those upon the Cyber Fortress with a growing concern. "Nothing seems to be affecting this thing, we need to find another way to stop it!"

"Indeed, and I have already calculated a plan." The Arch-Savant stated as he then turned and faced his variants, Kari and the fire champions with a serious expression.

"It is time for us to join the battle." Water Davis then informed the group, who all nodded in confirmation.

"What's the plan then?" Fire Davis questioned, the fire champion already knowing that his counterpart already had an idea in mind to bring the aberration down.

"I will need all of you to distract the aberration." The Arch-Savant said in reply, his words causing Julie and Caleb to frown, before their eyes widened as Water Davis then informed them. "While I make my way inside of the creature's form and to its core."

"Striking at its heart." The Shadow then commented with an amused look within his eyes, while Water Davis nodded in reply to his dark variant.

"Its outer form is too strong for us to attack directly, but with the openings around its being, I should be able to enter and locate its power source and terminate it." Water Davis then explained, his words gaining a few nods from the group.

"How will you do that?" Kari questioned with a growing concern, one each of the Davises sensed, each knowing that she was worried for Water Davis' safety.

"By using the same method you saw the two of us use the other day." Fire Davis said in reply as he pointed to himself and toward Dark Davis, where the Fire Champion then said with a grin. "His Mana Form."

"Indeed, it will protect me and allow me to accomplish my mission without any issues." Water Davis then said in reply, before looking upon Kari as he gained a softer smile and told her. "I will not do anything reckless… and I will return to you, you have my word."

Biting her lower lip but trusting the water variant of her beloved, Kari nodded her head in agreement, before the gem upon her right hand glowed with a dark purple light, this causing a shadow to emanate from the item and consume Kari's form, transforming into her full Dark Lord attire as she held Voidrender in one hand and Darkbringer in the other, where the Dark Empress looked upon her beloveds with a fiery determination within her glowing dark purple eyes.

Looking to one another and nodding, Fire Davis, Julie and Caleb's heads were surrounded by flames that formed into their own helmets, while shadows emerged from Dark Davis' helmet, forming back into his own nightmarish helmet as he gazed upon his watery counterpart.

Seeing Kari, his variants and allies ready, blue energy formed around Water Davis' head as his own helmet reformed, before the Arch-Savant held his right hand out, this causing shield generators to appear upon Kari, Fire Davis, Dark Davis, Julie and Caleb's chests, the items activating and forming a protective barrier around the group's beings.

Looking upon Finubar and seeing the Cyber King nod to him, Water Davis then teleported the group to the battle outside, the six disappearing in a flash of blue light as they moved to help turn the tide of the battle against the aberration.

Back outside of the Cyber Fortress, the battle continued to rage on as several of the Water Realm warships began to project energy barriers between them, the aberration and its undead swarm, with the skeletal abominations clawing against the opposing energies in an attempt to reach and tear their foes apart.

At the same time, the DSFs, the Digimon, Appmon and the soldiers of the D-Brigade moved closer together as part of the swarm turned their attention upon them, with Henry moving to aid his friends as Blaze, Belezar and the other Nexus creatures were busy with their own battles.

As the Commandramon, Hi-Commandramon, Tankdramon, Cargodramon and Brigadramon prepared their weaponry, the Digimon, Appmon and the pilots of the DSFs prepared to fight back, no matter the cost.

Fortunately, before the swarm could get any closer, a series of dark energy blasts and fiery attacks struck the undead abominations, wiping them out completely, the sight of which caused the group to turn and to see Kari, Julie and Caleb shot past them, the trio unleashing their Dark and Fire Mana abilities upon the undead and giving the DDF and Dark Imperium forces a boost in moral as they rushed after their allies.

At the same time, Fire Davis and Dark Davis, both in their Mana Forms, surged through the battleground, shattering the undead swarm with their powerful might as they attempted to clear the way for their watery counterpart.

While Kari, his two variants and the remaining fire champions joined the battle, Water Davis materialized not too far from the aberration, where a school of undead sea life took note of his presence and began to charge at the Arch-Savant.

Bringing his hands up as blue data particles surrounded his arms and formed energy cannons, Water Davis then released a barrage of energy blasts upon the swarm, taking down many of the undead beings, before the floating parts of his armour then moved and attached themselves to the energy cannons, the effect increasing the overall power of the weaponry which the Arch-Savant then fired as a combined energy blast that tore clean through the swarm and decimated the undead before the water variant of Davis.

As more undead abominations made their way toward the Arch-Savant, the armours bits from his outfits separated from his cannons and reshaped themselves into their own energy blasters and began to swirl around the water variant of Davis which fired off as another wave of energy beams toward the undead swarm, while Water Davis' cannons reformed into a pair of blue energy blades and allowed the water variant to cut through the swarm as he surged forward, his armour bits continued to swarm around him and to open fire firing upon his attackers, whole the Arch-Savant cut down any who got past them.

At one point, a group of undead sea dragons unleashed a fiery blast upon Water Davis, where the armour bits then circled before him, forming an energy shield that absorbed the onslaught of dark fire, before returning the attacks tenfold as the barrier fired a powerful blast upon the undead beasts, dissolving them instantly.

From their positions upon the battlefield, the DDF and Dark Imperium heroes and heroines watched when they could with intrigue to see Water Davis fighting, to seeing a methodology within the Arch-Savant's fighting style as opposed to the forward thinking of Fire Davis or the brutality of Dark Davis, while also still showing the same determination and commitment they all could see each of the Davises expressed.

Clearing through the undead creatures, Water Davis looked upon the aberration, to see the beast's attention upon the various warships around him and ignoring his presence.

However, the Arch-Savant also knew that if he approached the creature right now, the focus could turn directly upon him and thus cause an issue with his plans to stop the beast.

Without even looking, Water Davis sensed Cybrian appear behind him, the Cyber Avatar looking upon the aberration as he told his partner. "While our allies are providing an adequate distraction, a much larger diversion will be needed."

"Indeed, I am calling in our reserve force." The Arch-Savant said in reply as he closed his eyes and sent out a mental signal, one that echoed briefly throughout the chasm and beyond.

A moment later, a loud and great boom sound, mimicking the sound of a whale sending out a distress call was then heard, this briefly stopping the battle as even the aberration turned to see something that matched itself in size coming down into the chasm from above.

"Um… is that a big fish… or a small continent…?" Angie questioned in shock as she looked upon the creature entering the battlefield, one that resembled a massive, massive whale that rivalled the aberration in its immense size.

Bigger than even the King Whamon he was used to seeing, Shoutmon saw that the large sea creature had six massive fins along its body, a series of fins running down its back and three massive horns protruding from its head, giving the large underwater behemoth an imposing appearance.

"What the hell is that?!" Susanoomon questioned with his own astonishment, the fusion of the Legendary Warriors expressing the shock and bewilderment of those that made up his mind as he looked upon the new arrival to the fight.

"That is a Leviathan, one of the Children of Tritonius." Dark Davis replied as he briefly stopped to see the massive Water creature join the battle, adding as he then informed the others. "They are among the most powerful creatures in all of Nexus and should not be taken likely."

"I don't see any cybernetics upon it." Kari commented as she looked over the massive Leviathan, her observation noticed by a few amongst the Digi-heroes and heroines as they saw that the creature appeared to be a natural form of sea life.

'No Leviathan has cybernetics.' Finubar's voice then said through the comms as the Cyber King explained. 'Though we Cyber Kings and the Water Emperor are the rulers of this realm, the Leviathans rule the depth. One does not command them, they can only ask for their aid.'

"And Depthion here has been a powerful ally for many years." The Arch-Savant added as the Leviathan surged toward the aberration, taking a deep breath, before sending form a blast of pressurized air, one that slammed into the corrupted beast and caused it to crash into the wall of the chasm, the Armada's forces nearby quickly moving out of the way to avoid being crushed.

Letting out a roar as it tried to pull itself up, the aberration was then pinned down as Depthion slammed himself into the beast, using his horns to pin the creature down and using its might to hold the beast at bay for the Arch-Savant to enact his plan.

"And that's what makes me so glad that most of those guys can't leave the oceans." Caleb commented as he looked upon the pinned aberration and the Leviathan keeping it down, the fire champion knowing that a creature of a Leviathan's strength would cause a lot of issues if they were present when the Water Realm invaded the Fire Realm or Nature Realm.

'The aberration is pinned down, now is your chance, Arch-Savant!' Finubar declared, the Cyber King wishing to end this battle before too many of their forces could be lost.

"Affirmative." Water Davis said in reply as his armour bits returned to him, before the Arch-Savant's entire being was consumed in a cocoon of blue data particles, which then burst a moment later as those around him took in the Mana form of the water variant of Davis.

Retaining a human form and much of the outer bits of his armour, Kari and the others saw that in his Mana Form, the rest of Water Davis' being was made of blue energy that pulsated and coursed through his being, leading up to a silver face mask that only showed a pair of glowing blue eyes, while a series of cybernetic tendrils spread from the back of his head like hair, giving the Arch-Savant an otherworldly appearance.

Guided by a sense of logic and higher understanding as opposed to his other variants, Water Davis sensed that many of the undead abominations were heading straight for him, where he brought his hands up, causing a series of blue energy orbs to appear around him that unleashed an onslaught of energy blasts upon the undead, wiping them out, before the Arch-Savant surged forward and toward the aberration, Cybrian following his partner closely as they approached the beast.

Unleashing his own power in order to aid his partner, Cybrian drew the attention of the undead swarm as he released a series of energy blasts upon the abominations, allowing the Arch-Savant to get closer to the aberration, which continued to struggle against the Leviathan pinning it down.

Seeing a softer tissue area between the scales of the aberration and seeing his way in, the orbs around the Arch-Savant came together around him and formed a drill, allowing the Mana Form of Water Davis to drill into and push inside of the beast, which paid no mind to what it considered an insect bite as it fought against the Leviathan.

Allowing the energy drill to fade, Water Davis continued to surge through the interior of the aberration, sensing its heart as he moved toward his destination, flickering in and out of existence as he dodged a series of tendrils that seemed to be part of an internal defensive system within the creature.

Firing a series of energy blasts forward and breaking through a bone-like wall in his way, Water Davis then arrived at the heart of the aberration, seeing it as a circular organ that pulsated with Water Mana and Dark Mana.

Though a part of him desired to study this organ, to see how it came to be and learn how to utilize its ability to combine two different types of Mana, the Arch-Savant knew that the aberration was too dangerous and needed to be stopped.

Gathering his energy into his chest, Water Davis then unleashed a powerful blast straight at the heart, the beam eventually blasting through the organ and leaving a massive hole within.

Outside, the aberration let out a pained and agonizing cry as its heart was destroyed, the undead swarm losing the dark energies keeping them alive as they broke apart and dissolved into nothingness.

Looking upon the beast, the Armada watched as its cries died down, its eyes stopped glowing and the energy pulsating within it stopped flowing, showing that the aberration was indeed dead, before its body began to petrify and break up.

Within the aberration and sensing that his job was done, Water Davis was about to leave and return to the outside, to rejoin his variants, Kari and his friends and allies to enjoy their victory.

However, upon looking at the dead heart and even in his Mana Form, the Arch-Savant's eyes widened in shock and a hint of fear as he saw something that shook his core.

From the opening he created within the heart, Water Davis noticed that the organ was bleeding, and that the blood it released was black in colour.

This alone terrified the Arch-Savant, for it allowed him to know exactly how this aberration came into existence and how it remained undetected for so long, while pointing to a far greater threat, not just to the Water Realm, but to Nexus as a whole.

Making certain to quickly document this finding, especially as the black blood dissolved into nothingness, Water Davis then teleported away in a blue light, just as the chamber containing the heart began to collapse.

Reappearing not too far from the aberration, Water Davis watched as Depthion pushed himself away from the beast and swam away, where the Arch-Savant then watched as the aberration dissolved into nothingness.

Expressing a relieved sigh, Water Davis returned to his normal form, an action his fire and dark variants copied as they moved over to him, while Kari moved toward the variants of her beloved, the Dark Empress holding a look of relief and love within her eyes to see that all three were alright and that the battle was over.

Seeing the Leviathan leave and the aberration defeated, the Water Realm forces and the trio of Dark Realm creatures where pleased to see their foe defeated, while the Fire Realm creatures all cheered in celebration, and action mimicked by the Digi-heroes and heroines, alongside the D-Brigade Digimon, each happy to see that the battle was over and to the knowledge that Water Davis would soon be joining them on their journey throughout Nexus.

Behind his helmet, however, the Arch-Savant kept a frown upon his face as he replayed the knowledge of the black blood within his mind.

The battle was over and the aberration had been stopped, but now, the future of Nexus remains uncertain.
