As the sun rose the next morning and as Miracle's Reach entered the Faelands, Nature Davis and his Pack bid farewell to their friends and allies temporarily as they departed the airship in search of the Fallen King Alacard, while the remaining heroes and heroines arrived at Cerine's kingdom.

Arriving at the fairy kingdom's capital, many of those newer to Nexus found themselves commenting that they felt as though they had just walked onto a Lord of the Rings' movie set, a comment they learned that Nature Davis, Fire Davis and even Light Davis made when they first laid eyes upon the city.

Surrounded by trees and the wildness around it, with only a large and imposing stone wall separating the wildlife from the city, the capital was made up of thousands of stone and wooden structures, all elegant in design, that circled around a gigantic tree at the centre, one covered with elven-like structures and walkways, with Cerine's palace toward the top of the tree.

Likewise, the Great Tree itself seemed to pulsate with Nature energy, which showed its deep connections to the flow of Mana within the Nature realm as a Guardian Lodge was built near the roots of the large tree.

After Miracle's Reach docked alongside the Fire Realm's embassy within the Great Tree, those on board were allow free access upon the city, though Dark Davis, Water Davis and Henry were asked to remain onboard the airship, for many within the Fae had long memories and could not forgive the trio's actions against their home so easily.

Fortunately for Kari, Cerine had allowed the Dark Empress the freedom to roam the city, as long as Fire Davis was closely within her presence, a request the former Digidestined was more than comfortable with as she, alongside the fire variant of her beloved, Julie, Caleb, Jun Veemon, Gatomon, Tai, Sora, Cody, Yolei, Ken, TK, Catherine and their Digimon partners made their way through the city and took in the sights, as well as the people who made up the capital.

In many ways similar to the Beast Confederacy's city, the group saw that the fairy kingdom's capital was filled with many forms of life, from fairy, elven, human, beastkin and giant merchants offering various trades and goods to those who walked by, to blacksmiths who used a combination of small forges and Nature Mana to produce armour and weapons for the soldiers defending the city, while druids of various races healed the wounded from those arriving at the city and fleeing the Dark Realm invaders attacking the Faelands.

The sight around them caused the group to turn their attention to the gathering forces around the city, to see legions of fairies, elves, humans and beastkin taking up arms as they prepared for the battle ahead, while Ungala's tribe, the Leionians, joined with their allies, the half beast, half plant based warriors ready to do their part to protect their home.

Along with the various creatures they recognized forming the army to protect the Faelands, Kari and the rest of those newer to Nexus saw a number of plant-based creatures as well joining the fight, from elven-like beings that looked to be made completely out of leaves, to massive treemen that walked along the outer walls of the city, ancient creatures that were greatly connected to the flow of Nature Mana and would do everything in the power to protect the realm from any and all enemies.

Nature Dragons, Wild Beasts and Titans stood alongside their Guardian partners and waited for the upcoming battle, who all sent Kari a glare as many wondered why a Dark Lord was roaming the city so freely, before nodding to Fire Davis and his Fire Team, to know that the Dark Empress and those with her were being escorted by their allies.

As he nodded toward his Nature Realm allies, Fire Davis then looked toward Kari, where he saw the solemn expression on her face as she looked around and took in the sights, to seeing the innocents that had fled their homes because of the being that had favoured her for her Trial of the Dark Lords and felt responsible for the events that were about to happen.

A few months ago, the Dark Empress wouldn't have cared about the loss of life, of innocents losing their homes and loved ones for the sake of her vengeance and her desire for power in order to avenge her beloved.

But these individuals were not her enemies, they were not tools to be discarded in her now forgotten quest for power, these were people that the nature variant of her beloved cared for and would do anything to protect.

And now, even with full control over the Obscarian power running through her body and the additional power of Dark Mana she had obtained, there was nothing Kari could do to help Nature Davis against this darkness, not without causing a war that would ruin her chances of being with all of her Davises and causing harm to her friends and allies.

Kari felt useless and weak, a feeling she hadn't felt since the day she first lost Davis, a feeling that was driving her to darker thoughts.

But feeling a comforting hand rest upon her back, Kari snapped out of her inner troubles as she turned her head and saw Fire Davis smiling with empathy toward her, the sight of one of her beloveds showing his love for her bringing comfort to the brunette.

"First off, Kari, none of this is your fault or your doing." The fire champion said to the Dark Empress, adding as he told his beloved. "This is just life in Nexus. It's been this way for eons and will continue to be this way. Noctus was planning this long before you even knew we were still alive."

"Second, I know how you feel, because I am in the same boat as you." Fire Davis then went on to say as he looked around and toward the civilians that were being treated, where he sighed and told Kari. "These people are my allies, some even friends, but so too are those coming to fight them, and just like the battle we witnessed in the Dark Realm, I can't interfere, not without causing major issues for the Fire Realm."

Nodding her head to her beloved's words and understanding his own feelings on the matter, Kari let out her own sigh as she told Fire Davis. "I just feel so useless… so helpless… That I can't do anything for him…"

Feeling her beloved's hand rest under her chin, Kari allowed Fire Davis to tilt her head up so his red eyes could meet her own, where she could see the love and care within his expression as the fire champion then told her. "Have faith in him, he's me after all. The five of us have been in tough scrapes in the past twenty thousand years, but now, more than ever, he has more to fight for, he's fighting to come back to you, just like all of us will."

Keeping a soft smile toward the love she felt toward the fire variant of her beloved, Kari leaned herself forward and captured Fire Davis' lips in a tender kiss, one he found himself returning with a matching passion, the romance causing the others amongst the group to hold soft smiles themselves.

Breaking from their kiss after a moment, much to Kari's disappointment, Fire Davis remained with a sense of confidence as he gestured to the other Guardians around them and told the brunette with a further determination in his voice. "Besides, the Grand Guardian doesn't stand alone. Every Guardian here has dedicated their lives to fighting Noctus and his servants, and with Ticahlla sending the Beast Confederacy's armies to join them and the Wild Horde on their way, they will face Noctus head on."

"The Lord Champion is right!" A tall female Guardian who looked like she had wolf ears and a tail then remarked, her voice gaining the attention of the Dark Empress and the others.

As she swung a large axe over and allowed the blade to rest upon her shoulder, the canine Guardian expressed her determination further as she then said. "We've driven that skull-faced freak back before and we'll do it again! He has underestimated us for the last time and tougher, we'll send his bony ass screaming back to the Dark Realm!"

At the female Guardian's declaration, the remaining Guardians let out their own cheers and battle cries, expressing the evident confidence to take on the undead hordes of the Eternal Lord and to defeat their enemies, a sight that brought smiles to the fire champions, who knew that at the very least, their allies in the Nature Realm would give Noctus and his followers a hell of a fight.

"Now we just need to pray that Nature Davis and his group have luck with Alacard." Caleb said with a small and concerning sigh, his words gaining the group's attention as they looked upon him with uncertainty.

"Do you think they won't be able to find him?" Patamon inquired as he tried to understand what was worrying the fire champion.

"Oh no, I am more than confident they'll find him, I'm just worried about how they will find him." Caleb told Patamon in reply, which only added to the concerns of Patamon and to the rest of those newer to Nexus.

"You know all those stories about terrors within the woods, those strange, hideous creatures or spirits that make people disappear or worse?" Fire Davis then questioned as he looked amongst his friends.

"That is what lurks in the deeper parts of the woods where Alacard resides, acting as his protectors when he is in his elven form, while following him as their alpha in his beast form when he goes on the hunt." The fire champion went on to say.

"Um… how bad is this 'beast form' of his?" Agumon questioned, the Digimon of Courage trying to make sense of the kind of danger Nature Davis and his Pack were walking into.

Thinking for a moment as he tried to figure out the best way to explain the form the fallen elven king took in his beast persona, the fire variant of Davis then looked toward his friends from the Digital World and asked them. "Do any of you know what a wendigo is?"

While many amongst the group from the Digital World looked upon the fire champion with confusion, Ken and Cody, who had both heard the name before then paled.

Remaining with a sense of fear, the Digidestined of Knowledge and Reliability then asked. "You mean the spirit-like monster that is supposed to be related to cannibalism?"

To what Cody had said, Kari and the rest of those present from the Digital World now shared in the young boy's shock and disbelief, where Fire Davis then nodded in reply and informed the younger Digidestined. "Yes, but think of that creature around the same size as Paildramon."

This information did not help calm the group of Digidestined or their Digimon partners down, at least until Julie spoke up and said. "Sakuya's family have ways to calm his rage and suppress the beast, they are not going on this hunt ill prepared."

Nodding in reply to the information Julie had shared, Fire Davis then grinned as he added with a small chuckle. "And if that doesn't work, we all know the Grand Guardian will beat some sense into him."

Getting the reactions he was hoping for as Kari and the others laughed from his remark, remembering the superhuman strength of Nature Davis, Fire Davis mentally frowned as he knew well what his nature variant was up against, and could only wish him luck in his hunt.

The fate of the Nature Realm depended upon it.

Hundreds of miles away from the fairy kingdom, and after Jiraiya and Shinon's butterfly-like Wild Beast partner brought them to the ground, Nature Davis, Erik, Garen, Alicia, Lyna and Shinon walked behind Sakuya as the elven Guardian led her pack deep into the darkened woods.

Though walking with her eyes closed, Sakuya was able to remain focused upon the world around her.

Keeping a necklace she wore drawn out with her right hand, the item consisting of a glowing green gem encased in a pair of green metal leaves, an heirloom from her family which allowed Sakuya to track and locate those of her bloodline, which in this case included Alacard himself.

"He is close… very close..." Sakuya informed the others within in a hushed tone, one that her fellow Guardians could hear as they slowly made their way through the forest.

"Ok, Jiraiya, you and the others remain in your crystals unless we call upon you." Nature Davis told his partner with a fair seriousness within his voice. "We don't want to harm him, just talk."

"No argument here, but call on us if you need us." The Nature Dragon said in reply, knowing that things could get rough if the fallen king was in his beast persona.

As the Pack continued to follow Sakuya and keep their eyes peeled for any of the hostile creatures which served as the fallen king's guards, Garen broke the silence as he looked toward the Grand Guardian.

"I must admit, I have more respect for your mate now, Davis. Any other Dark Lord would have willing pledged themselves to Noctus in the battle to come. But then again, she is not any other Dark Lord." He told Nature Davis.

"She has proven herself not to be an enemy of our realm, but I cannot imagine the pain she is currently going through." Shinon then remarked with her own sincerity as she kept her eyes on the lookout.

Smiling lightly to himself and to seeing the trust established between his allies and the woman he loved, Nature Davis continued to keep his eyes on guard.

"Before I arrived on Nexus, Kari… well, calling her an angel would be an understatement. She was kind, sweet and compassionate. She dreamt of a world where humans and Digimon could live in harmony and desired for herself to teach children. Whenever she smiled, she brought warmth and happiness to those around her… and it pains me to know that I was the one who took all that from her." He then said to his fellow Guardians.

"That's in the past now, lad." Erik said with a reassuring tone, adding as he looked upon the Grand Guardian and told him. "She may have done some terrible things in your old world, but even I can see that her heart has healed, now that she is with you and your counterparts again. And you are not to blame for her actions, they were her choices, driven by her grief and rage, so for now, you two need to think about your futures."

Briefly turning her gaze upon Nature Davis as she saw the smile upon his face, Lyna sighed a little as she asked the Grand Guardian with a soft smile of her own. "You really do love her, don't you?"

"She is the one who brought light into my life, the first person I ever truly felt a connection with, and I'll do anything to protect her." Nature Davis said in reply, his words causing Alicia, Sakuya, Shinon and Lyna to sigh dreamily, the female Guardians sharing in a sense of awe toward the love which their crush expressed, accompanied alongside a further sense of jealousy toward Kari for being the recipient of Nature Davis' love.

Walking for another twenty more minutes, Sakuya quickly came to a halt, her actions the others then mirrored.

"We are not alone." She said with a fair warning within her voice.

Going into defensive stances and mentally preparing themselves, the Pack then heard a series of growls, snarls and shrieks from the woods around them, before over a dozen sets of glowing, eerie eyes could be seen all throughout the area.

Stalking out and into the light, Nature Davis and his allies saw that the creatures were large, almost bear-like creatures, creatures which had great and powerful muscular bodies, black fur and claw-like hands, while spikes ran down their backs and added to their fearsome appearances.

But it was the creatures' faces that were perhaps their most striking features, for their heads were actually skulls, with rows of razor sharp teeth and two large tusks emerging from their lower jaws, while their hollowed eye sockets illuminated with an eerie green light, showing that they were more spirit than animal.

"Hallowed Ones." Sakuya commented as she moved to be back to back with her Pack members as she kept her eyes over the dark woodland spirits. "Which means Alacard is close."

As the Hallowed Ones shrieked and snarled at the Guardians before them, the sound of a loud thud on the ground, followed by a loud and deafening roar, this causing the Pack to turn their heads and see some of the trees rattle as a massive beast moved pass them and into the clearing.

Resembling the Hallowed Ones, the beast was four to five times their size, lacking fur and having a pair of massive antlers emerging from its head, while Nature Mana flowed through its being and creature a spiral designed within the centre of its chest as it gazed down upon those below it and let out a fearsome roar, its hollowed eyes blazing with a dark green glow.

A great concern then filled the Guardians as they realized what they were looking upon, while Nature Davis narrowed his eyes to the fact that they had indeed found Alacard and that his beast persona was in control at that moment.

Looking upon the dreaded beast, Davis remembered the story of Alacard and Azara, where he remembered hearing about an even larger version of this beast tearing the Nature Realm apart in the elven king's mad rampage, before he finally calmed down, his mind shattering over what he had done and by who had pushed him to do such horrible acts.

Taking charge and knowing that they would need to subdue the fallen king, Nature Davis quickly issued commands as he told his fellow Guardians. "Erik, Garen, Alicia, take on the Hollowed Ones while the rest of us try and knock some sense into the big guy."

Nodding in reply, Erik, Garen and Alicia let out battle cries as their weaponry glowed with a bright green light, the trio then charging at the Hallowed Ones as they rushed to attack the intruders, where the Guardians dodged and parried strikes from the beasts' claws and cut them down one by one.

With his servants battling the intruders, Alacard let out a fearsome roar as he swung his right claw down to strike at the rest of the trespassers, the action causing Sakuya, Lyna and Shinon to jump away, while Nature Davis withdrew the Shield of Unity, blocking the strike as the clashing energies sent out a shockwave of air.

Despite holding his own, the Grand Guardian could feel the strength of the beast pushing against him, while Alacard snarled as he felt the soothing energies of the Nature Mana within the shield holding him back.

"Try to calm down, King Alacard, we are not your enemies!" Nature Davis growled as he pushed the powerful claw back, before Nature Davis had to duck as the beast swung its other arm around to tried again to strike him down.

Bringing his hammer up, Nature Davis then swung at the beast's leg, striking at the creature and causing the fallen king to let out a cry of pain, before swatting at the Grand Guardian, who quickly used the shield to block the attack as he was sent skidding a few feet back.

Letting out another fearsome roar, Alacard moved to strike at the maroon haired Guardian, only to let out a shriek of rage as Shinon and Lyna unleashed a volley of Nature Mana arrows upon the fallen king, the magical projectiles clashing against the beast's skin but not doing any true damage as they distracted and enraged the fallen king.

Moving quickly around her mad relative, Sakuya slashed her blade against Alacard's legs in an attempt to knock the beast off kilter, but found the beast's hide to be much tougher than her blade could pierces, this causing the elven Guardian to quickly dodge and avoid Alacard's strikes.

Nearby, Alicia, Erik and Garen continued to move in sync with one another as they cut the Hallowed Ones down, watching as their bodies dissolved into mists and seemingly reappearing within the forests around them, which only began to infuriate the trio of Guardians as they knew they could not keep up this fight against the spirit beasts forever.

"Davis, this isn't working, we need to try my family's method!" Sakuya declared as she dodged another strike from the beast, leaping between a pair of trees as Alacard crushed them with his claws.

Looking between Shinon and Lyna, Nature Davis gave the pair a nod and silently informed them to go through with the plan they discussed before entering the forest, before the Grand Guardian rushed forward and toward the fallen king, his hammer glowing with a light green aura.

Slamming his hammer into the ground, and with a mighty battle cry, Nature Davis then watched as pillars of sharp rocks surged toward Alacard's left leg, the action startling the beast as he lost his footing and fell to one knee.

At the same time, Shinon and Lyna unleashed another volley of Nature Mana infused arrowed at the beast, which formed into ropes of energy that quickly restrained the fallen king, who began to thrash about and try to escape from his bindings.

Quickly moving in front of Alacard, the Grand Guardian brought forth the Shield of Unity, which began to glow with Nature Mana and caused the fallen king to shriek in rage as the shield's power tried to subdue him.

"Sakuya, now!" Nature Davis then bellowed as he struggled against Alacard's rage and could feel the beast's energy clashing with the power of the shield.

Acting quickly in order to put an end to this fight, Sakuya held her crystal out and closed her eyes, before she began to sing a soothing and enchanting song, one passed down by her family in order to bring peace to the fallen king's mind, even if were for a short time.

Ignoring the irony that the song was created by Azara herself, Nature Davis watched on as Alacard stopped thrashing with such rage, his shrieks dying down as his body began to be consumed in a dark green mist.

At the same time, Alicia, Erik and Garen expressed sighs of relief as the Hollowed Ones turned and began to return within the forests, disappearing from the Guardians' sight as they resumed their roles as protectors over hunters.

Watching the massive cloud of dark mist, Nature Davis placed his weaponry away as he watched the mist shrink in size, before fading to reveal an elven figure now standing in place, one with long raven hair and ears like Sakuya's, a man clad in regal green armour that showed his status of royalty and authority.

But upon opening his green eyes, the Grand Guardian could see the madness that afflicted the elven king clear as day, his eyes quickly darting between Nature Davis and his fellow Guardians with a growing insanity in his expression.

"What are you, man, beast, illusions? More lies from the imposter, the witch?!" Alacard questioned through his insanity as he looked amongst those before him, his words causing Nature Davis to frown a little.

The Grand Guardian had heard from many within the Nature Realm that, in his delusions, the elven king believed that the being Azara had become was an imposter, a dark being pretending to be his beloved, a belief he held in order to justify his original actions against her and discarding their love, while also using this mindset to tell himself that his real beloved would never do such horrors as Azara had done.

In his own mind, the Grand Guardian did not feel any pity for the elven king, who should have known that it was his own demise that drove his beloved to her dark and twisted actions.

Azara gave up everything to mend her broken heart and find him again, and Alacard spit upon that love because he could not accept what she had become, an action that Nature Davis, having now been in a similar position as the fallen king, could never agree with.

But putting his personal feelings on the matter to the side for now and focusing on his duties, the Grand Guardian knelt on one knee before Alacard and informed him. "No, my King, we are not illusions, nor servants of… her, we are Guardians of the Nature Realm, myself the Grand Guardian, and the Realm needs your aid."

"It is true, my King, our home needs your aid." Sakuya pleaded as she moved and knelt beside Nature Davis, where the pair watched as the elven king turned to look upon her with wonder within his insane eyes.

"Azara, my beloved?!" Alacard questioned, where the nature variant of Davis could only guess that Sakuya held some resemblance to what Azara used to look like, and thus adding to the fallen king's delusions.

"No, Grandfather, it's me." Sakuya said in reply, her words causing Alacard to tilt his head as he then asked. "Little one? Why…?"

"My King." Nature Davis then cut in, gaining the fallen king's attention as he then told Alacard. "The Nature Realm is in peril, Noctus is invading the Faelands, he claims to know where the Spark of Karnus is and plans to corrupt it with Mordrakus' darkness, we need to find it before he does."

"The Spark…?" Alacard inquired, acting as if he was being tricked, before shaking his head as he informed the Grand Guardian. "The Spark never stays in one place. It always moves, always flows with the realm, it appears anywhere within Karnus' reach!"

Nodding his head as he understood what the fallen king was saying, Nature Davis realized that one of the main reasons no one ever found the Spark before was that it was never in the same place, but rather appeared all throughout the realm, giving its power whenever it was present.

Looking back upon the fallen king, the Grand Guardian then questioned with a continued seriousness within his voice. "Then where would it appear within the Faelands, my King?"

Thinking for a moment, it looked as though Alacard was about to give them an answer as Nature Davis and his Pack waited patiently.

However, before the fallen king could speak, his eyes widened and the madness seemed to return as he all but screamed. "Liars, illusions! You brought the imposter here!"

Startled at first by the outburst and failing to understand what Alacard was talking about, Nature Davis and his fellow Guardians then felt an immense darkness, a cold chill that ran down their spines, before the group turned to look behind them, to see a sight that left them all in fear.

Merely a few feet before them was Azara, the Eternal Lord herself, the dark and dreaded being gazing upon them through her skeletal mask.

Leaping from the woods, the Hallowed Ones moved to strike down the Eternal Lord, only for Azara to flick her wrist, where the beast-like spirits howled in agony and dissolved into nothingness, before the former elven queen took a few steps forward.

"I will not fall for your lies… I will not fall for your deceit…!" Alacard bellowed in a further maddening rage as his form was consumed in the dark green mist once again, his body reverting back to his beast persona as he gave a fearsome roar, then rushed back into the forests.

"No, wait!" Nature Davis called in desperation and frustration as Alacard disappeared once again into the forests before he could tell the Grand Guardian what he needed to know.

"Run for now, my beloved… I am not here for you today…" Azara said as she looked upon the retreating form of her broken lover, before turning her dark gaze upon the Pack.

Raising their weapons, the Grand Guardian and his allies couldn't believe their luck, with first Noctus being a threat and now Azara herself, the sight of which only frustrated Nature Davis to the idea of now facing two Eternal Lords at the same time.

"Figures she would aid Noctus." Garen growled, the wolf Guardian doing his best to keep his cool as he looked upon yet another Eternal Lord and was ready to do what he could to protect his friends.

"I am not Noctus' ally this day…" Azara then remarked, her words confusing the Pack as Alicia found she had to ask. "Then why are you here?!"

"Before I answer… I have a question for you, Grand Guardian…" The Eternal Lord then said as she pointed a finger toward Nature Davis, who remained confused, but still kept his glare upon Azara as she continued.

"Your beloved… my favoured… in your absence, she descended into Darkness and abandoned the Light… she brought war and death to your world and others, slaying thousands… and yet, you accepted her… why…?" Azara then asked, her inquiry surprising all but the Grand Guardian himself.

Chuckling lightly to himself, Nature Davis looked upon the Eternal Lord and told her with pure honesty. "I cannot speak for Alacard or his decisions. For me, it is simple, I love her, and I know that buried under that darkness is the woman I feel in love with, a woman who was hurt by my actions, by my loss, and I would gladly take on the consequences of her actions onto myself. I love her and I will always stand by her."

Keeping his gaze upon Azara, the Grand Guardian could sense the understanding and, to an extent, the envy the Eternal Lord felt toward him and Kari as Nature Davis hoped that one day, the story of Azara and Alacard could change for the better.

"I am here because a mother never abandons her children… even if they have abandoned her…" Azara then said, her words causing Nature Davis' eyes to widen as a realization hit him.

Azara, like Alacard, also knew where the Spark was, and came to help stop Noctus in her own way, to protect her and her beloved's children amongst the Fae and protect the balance of Nexus intact.

"You know where the Spark is, don't you?" He asked, his question causing his fellow Pack members to look upon him with shock and disbelief, while Azara merely nodded in reply.

"When the Spark first touched what would be the Faelands… A Great Tree grew over its sanctum… a tree you know well…" The Eternal Lord told the Grand Guardian and his allies.

To Azara's words, a lightbulb went off within the nature variant of Davis' mind as he began to pale, an action his fellow Guardians mirrored as they understood what they had just heard and had come to acknowledge.

"Go, champions of the Realm… the battle is about to begin…" Azara then said, before disappearing within a dark wisp, the feeling of darkness and dread disappearing alongside her.

Looking between the members of the Pack, Nature Davis could see the concern within their eyes, before he withdrew the communication device he used to contact his variants.

Back within the fairy kingdom and within Cerine's throne room, Fire Davis, Water Davis, Dark Davis, Kari and the rest of those who had been traveling aboard Miracle's Reach stood off to the side and watched as Celine, who sat upon her throne with Ungala standing next to her, listened to the generals, the Guardians and various other leaders as they discussed their various battle plans and tried to figure out where Noctus would strike.

Having received word from Tichalla and Tigris Khan, the alliance of the Faelands knew that the Beast Confederacy and the Wild Horde would arrive the next day and would aid their allies in the fight against Noctus, wherever such a battle would be.

However, the meeting was then interrupted by a loud beeping sound, one that caused everyone to look upon Fire Davis, where the fire champion was confused for a moment, before realizing it was his communicator that was going off.

"Oh, it's the Grand Guardian." The fire variant of Davis informed the others after he withdrew the device and saw which of his two remaining variants was contacting him.

"Hopefully this means he's found where the Spark of Karnus is." Fire Davis remarked.

As everyone then kept their attention upon him, Fire Davis activated the device as a holographic image of Nature Davis appeared before him, his presence causing the fire champion to question. "Hey, did you guys find…?"

"Get everyone back on board the airship NOW!" Nature Davis yelled in panic as he cut his fire variant off, before shocking them all as everyone within the chamber heard the Grand Guardian announce. "The Spark is under the Great Tree, Noctus is heading for the city!"

As soon as Nature Davis finished his declaration, there was a growing sense of dread and despair that seemed to cover the entire city, causing the three Davises, Kari and everyone else in the chamber to look out the nearest window, to see what appeared to be a massive black and darkening cloud now heading toward the city.

But from the darkness, however, the group saw Noctus' fortress and an armada of Dark Realm ships emerge from the shadows, along with swarms of flying Dark Realm creatures, led by the Dread Wyrms.

On the ground, meanwhile, Noctus' Wightborn army and undead legions surged from the darkness charged toward the city, ready to bring death and ruin to the enemies of their Master.

As the Dark Realm forces approached, Notcus' dark and wicked laugh could be heard in the air, the Eternal Lord laughing menacingly as the battle for the Nature Realm had begun.
