Nearly an hour after Nature Davis had finally recovered from his battle with Noctus, the Grand Guardian and his Pack stood alongside Tichalla, Ungala and Tigris Khan before the gathered forces of the Faeland Defenders, the Beast Confederacy and the Wild Horde, accompanied with Jiraiya, who now stood within his new form alongside the other bound partners, while the Grovewarden flew in the air with the other aerial forces of the Nature Realm.

Before the gathered warriors of Nature was a vast clearing that lay just outside of the forests that made up the Faelands, while on the other side of the field, the vast armies of Noctus prepared themselves for battle.

With their Master out of commission for the time being, the floating Fortress retreated toward the borders of the Dark Realm in order to protect Noctus' resting place, which left Argoth to lead the massive army of dark invaders, to continue the battle and to punish those who dared defy the Eternal Lord.

Along with the Dark Realm airships and flying beasts in the skies, Dharak, Nergul and Senagos expelled fearsome roars as they glared upon their enemies, their eyes drawn particularly toward the Grand Guardian and his partner, the trio sharing a great rage toward the pair for defeating their Master.

Finally, and once again floating above the soon-to-be battlefield, Miracle's Reach remained just out of reach of any potential danger as Kari, Fire Davis, Dark Davis, Water Davis and the remainder of the group watched the scenes below from the monitors within the briefing room.

"Man, these Wightborn guys don't know when to give up." Astora then said as he sat beside Eri and Musimon as they watched the screens and kept their eyes upon the two opposing armies.

"They have a reputation to maintain, otherwise it would ruin Noctus' image and they would be the ones to suffer his wrath once he returns." Dark Davis said in reply, the Shadow knowing full well that if Argoth didn't at least make the attempt to destroy the fairy kingdom that the Eternal Lord would punish his servant severely once he regained his physical form.

"But now, the Faeland Defenders have the Beast Confederacy and Wild Horde backing them up, along with Jiraiya's new evolved form and the Grovewarden on their side." Fire Davis remarked as he scanned both sides of the upcoming battle and then added with a great confidence within his voice. "Plus, Noctus is out of the picture for now, so I'd say the odds are in the Grand Guardian and his allies' favour."

"Analyzing the strengths, firepower and diversity of both combative forces, both sides are actually equal in terms of strength and power." Water Davis then informed the others, before he added with a remaining calculated voice. "However, with the addition of our nature variant and his newly evolved partner as variables, the statistics still are within the Nature Realm's favour."

"He still sounds like a robot." Airu remarked in a hushed whisper toward Sora, Rika, Zoe and Yoshi.

Keeping a sly smile upon her face and retaining her slyness, the blonde haired Digimon Hunter added with a small giggle. "If Kari hasn't taken him to bed yet, maybe some of us could offer to help out."

While rolling their eyes toward what Airu had said, Zoe and Yoshi shared a spared glance toward Rika and Sora, the Warrior of Wind and the DATS officer both sweatdropping to see the dazed and lustful expressions upon the Digidestined of Love and the red haired hybrid's faces from the more perverted thoughts which entered their minds.

Ignoring the banter around her and keeping her focus upon the screen, the Dark Empress looked upon the nature variant of her beloved as she continued to pray for his safety, his quick victory and his return to her side so that they could move on and meet up with Light Davis, where she and her beloveds would discuss their future together.

Back upon the ground, Nature Davis clenched his hammer within his right hand as he narrowed his eyes at what remained of Noctus' dark forces, the Grand Guardian desiring to end this battle quickly, not only so he could protect the Faelands, but so he could return to Kari and her loving embrace.

All around him, Jiraiya, his fellow Guardians of his Pack and their partners knew how badly their friend wanted to get back to Kari, and even though the girls were still jealous of the love the Dark Empress received from the man of their dreams, the Pack was ready to end this battle, both for Nature Davis' sake and for the safety of the Nature Realm.

With a furious battle cry, Argoth pointed his blade toward the Nature Realm forces arrayed against him, the call causing the Wightborn, Dread Wyrms and the rest of the Dark Realm forces to surge forward, ready to avenge Noctus and make the Faelands pay for their defiance.

At the same time, Ungala, Tichalla and Tigris Khan expelled a share of fearsome roars, the actions causing the Nature Realm forces to let out a collective battle cry as they too charged forward, ready to meet their enemies head on and drive them out of their lands.

For those upon the clearing and those watching on board Miracle's Reach, the moment was tense as the two opposing forces rushed against one another and prepared to clash once more in battle.

As he rushed alongside his allies, Nature Davis then noticed the light around him changing, where he briefly looked up to see the sun above darkening, a sight that caused his eyes to widen.

"It looks almost as if a solar eclipse is happening." Hiro remarked as he and the others saw the imagery upon the screen, the remark of the brunette shared amongst Gammamon and their friends, despite the fact Gammamon remained somewhat oblivious to what Hiro was talking about.

"Solar eclipses are not natural within Nexus." The Arch-Savant informed, his words causing many to look upon him and the other two Davises present, while Kari and the group then noticed a shared concern within their eyes.

As the Nature Realm and Dark Realm forces drew closer, the Grand Guardian returned his gaze forward, where he was then filled with pure shock and terror as a bolt of red lightning shot out of the ground and directly to the sky above.

Instantly, the two armies came to a complete halt, the rage and desire for battle instantly replaced with fear and confusion, with the Dread Wyrms and the Grovewarden expelling fearsome roars toward the spot they saw the lightning emerge from, while Erik, Alicia, Sakuya, Shinon, Garen, Lyna, their partners and Jiraiya looked amongst one another and Nature Davis with a growing concern and dread.

"Um… what was that?" Takato found himself questioning as he and the others newer to Nexus then turned their gaze upon the three Davises with them, where their curiosity quickly changed to concern as they saw the fear and panic within the trio's eyes, which was accompanied alongside Julie, Caleb, Henry, Victor and Kenji.

"Oh fuck, not now!" Fire Davis said with a growing dread within his voice, one that only increased the concern within his friends as they returned their gaze upon the screen, gaining their own shock upon seeing what happened next.

At that moment, several more bolts of dark red lightning shot up from the ground, before a massive vortex of the same energy formed upon the very ground, a deafening shriek filling the air as the portal seemed to tear at the very fabric of reality, growing in size to be as big as Quartzmon to those watching above, while the Nature Realm forces and Dark Realm invaders began to panic.

"We have a Breach! We have a Breach!" Someone on the bridge of Miracle's Reach screamed with a great dread and panic over the intercoms, the fear and concerns within their voice alarming TK and the others.

Looking upon the Davises with them, Kari and the others saw all three bringing their right arms up and activating their gems.

"There is a Breach at my location, get here now!" Dark Davis commanded a holographic image of Desred, the Shadow's right hand nodding in reply as Henry moved to stand next to the dark variant of Davis.

"To any and all Water Realm forces within the area, there is a Breach at the following coordinates…" Water Davis said through his own communication network, reaching out to any and all available Water Realm units within his range of communication.

"This is Lord Motomiya to any and all Fire Realm forces within the Nature Realm, there is a Breach at my coordinates, proceed here immediately!" Fire Davis said through his communication system with a growing seriousness as Julie and Caleb moved closer to their Fireteam member.

As Kari and the others confusion continued to grow, the Dark Empress then watched as Fire Davis withdrew the communication devices he and his variants use, before activating it as a holographic image of Light Davis appeared before him and the others, the sight shocking most of those from the Digital World as they didn't know they could contact the Archon so easily.

"Breach at our location, get here now!" Fire Davis merely said, his words causing his light variant to look shocked for a moment, before he gained a serious expression and nodded in reply, before the hologram disappeared, which left more questions than answers for the remainder of the group.

Putting the device away, Fire Davis then turned his gaze toward Kari, seeing the growing confusion within her eyes, before the fire champion told his beloved with a growing concern. "It's Them."

As her confusion remained with her for a moment, the Dark Empress' eyes then widened as the realization hit her, that the creatures she had seen within her vision, the ones who created the aberration that attacked the Water Realm, were coming.

'Kari, we're going to need you and Faustian for this one…' Henry said with his own seriousness, his words causing the Dark Empress to nod as she allowed her Dark Lord armour to form around her being.

Looking past Kari and toward the others, Fire Davis then told the group with a continued seriousness within his voice. "The rest of you remain here. That goes for you two as well, Victor, Kenji."

As both heirs were about to protest and offer their aid, the fire champion held his hand out and informed the pair. "No, this is not up for debate, not with Them involved. Your fathers will never forgive me if They get their claws on you."

"Just stay here, all of you, we will be back." Fire Davis commented, before he, Dark Davis, Water Davis, Kari, Henry, Julie and Caleb all disappeared in flames, dark wisps and blue light, thus leaving those newer to Nexus with a further sense of confusion and concern.

Down below, Dark Davis, Water Davis, Kari and Henry appeared before Noctus' forces, a sight that startled Argoth a little as Belezar, Cybrian, Faustian and Kurdoss were summoned around them, while Fire Davis, Julie and Caleb appeared beside Nature Davis, with Blaze, Phirox and Ferox appearing before them as they too prepared themselves for battle.

"As champion of the Dark Emperor, I am taking command. Any objections?!" Dark Davis inquired as he looked between Argoth and the other Dark Lord around him, who all looked amongst one another, before Argoth bowed his head in conceit, giving command of Noctus' forces to the Shadow.

At the same moment, a trio of portals opened in the sky, where from one, the Dark Citadel and its fleet, along with forces from the Dark Imperium, arrived, unleashing their forces to reinforce Noctus' own.

Along with the Dark Citadel, a Cyber Fortress and a Fire Fortress also arrived, allowing transports to land and release Water Realm and Fire Realm forces that surrounded the vortex with the Nature Realm and Dark Realm armies, their focus remaining solely upon the Breach.

"Wait… what's going on here? I thought they were all enemies?" Tagiru found himself questioning with an understandable confusion as he and the remainder of those upon Miracle's Reach watched the scene and found themselves sharing in the uncertainty to see forces from the Nature Realm, the Fire Realm, the Dark Realm and the Water Realm standing side by side, with the four Davises they had been traveling with leading the forces below.

"They are the only things that can force the Realms to work together." Victor said with a mixture of concern and seriousness within his voice, his words surprising and shocking most within the room as they refocused upon the screens.

"Stay at my side, Kari, no matter what." Dark Davis whispered to his beloved as he kept his eyes upon the Breach, his words causing the Dark Empress to nod in reply as she held her blade and staff close to herself, the brunette ready to do her part for the battle to come.

A moment later, she heard it, the sounds of hundreds of thousands of shrieks and insect-like noises, the buzzing of wings and the stamped of claws and pincers coming from the Breach, where Kari's eyes widened in shock and horror as the first of Them emerged from the vortex, either flying into the air like a swarm of insects or crawling from out of the edges of the rift.

The most numerous amongst the creatures appeared to look humanoid, but their appearance was that of a cross between an insect and a machine, the overall appearance of the creature consisting of green scales, chittering pincers which burst from their jaws, alongside bladed hands, each shrieking loudly as they began to charge toward the lines of forces arrayed against them.

Alongside these horrid abominations were other creatures of fearsome design, from giant praying mantises, to spiders, ants, rhinos, giant warriors with blades and other types of beasts which held a similar body structure as what appeared to be t-rexes and even dragons of a similar fusion of insect and machine emerged from the vortex and proceeded to charge forward within Nexus.

Along with the ground beasts, flying versions of the unknown forces also emerged from the Breach, from giant scarabs to beetles and monsters that resembled birds, bats and dragons, all resembling the same green scales and mechanized body parts as they pierced the skies with horrid shrieks and began to charge toward the battle lines.

To the Dark Empress, as well as those watching on board Miracle's Reach, while these creatures appeared to resemble beings from the Nature Realm, the sight of them, their mere presence, it all felt wrong to them, as if these creatures were not apart of the natural order of the world and that they only existed to bring ruin.

As the newer beings began to spread out from the vortex and make their way toward the Nexus forces with a mindless rage and a killer intent radiating from their beings, Dark Davis aimed his blade toward the creatures charging toward the Dark Realm's army and commanded with fury. "Drive the Urgothians back into their abyss!"

Sharing within a collective battle cry, the various forces of Nexus began to charge at and open fire upon the newer beings, the Urgothians, with energy blasts of darkness, fire and water, alongside Nature Mana infused arrows, being unleashed upon the swarm of creatures, the attacks striking many of them down, where their bodies expelled black blood, before dissolving into the substance themselves as the liquid moved back into the Breach.

And yet, for every one of the Urgothians that seemed to fall, many more took their place as the vile creatures charged forward, crashing into the lines of Nature Realm, Water Realm, Fire Realm and Dark Realm forces as Blaze, Belezar, Cybrian, Jiraiya, Faustian, Phirox, Ferox and Kurdoss unleashed their own barrage of attacks upon the ground and aerial Urgothians in an attempt to thin their numbers, their efforts aided by the Pack's partners, the Grovewarden, the Dread Wyrms and the others bound partners upon the battlefield.

Fire Champions, Guardians, Savants and Dark Lords even worked together to strike down the Urgothians that charged at them, a sight that shocked those newer to Nexus watching from on board Miracle's Reach as they had become used to the many conflicts between the realms.

However, one sight that caught TK and the others' attention brought sheer horror to the group as they saw one beastkin warrior surrounded by the insectoid-like beings, with several holding his head back, before one spewed the black blood into his opened mouth.

At first confused by the action, the heroes and heroines of the Digital World then were horrified as the beastkin began to shake, the black blood pouring from his eyes, nose and mouth as it coated his body, reshaping it, before the warrior resembles an Urgothian version of his original self, as though the substance had warped him into one of the vile beings.

As horrifying as the sight was to watch, TK, Tai and the others were somewhat relieved to see that whatever pain the beastkin was in was short lived as he and the Urgothians around him were brought down by a series of Nature Mana arrows, the archers looking upon his body with pain and pity as it dissolved into the black blood.

Keeping up with their temporary allies, Erik, Garen, Alicia, Sakuya, Shinon and Lyna found themselves fighting alongside Desred, Cyoton, Sythial, Orphiais, Julie, Caleb and Henry as the group of Realm warriors cut down the Urgothians charging at them, while their partners unleashed their own fury upon the larger abominations that made up the swarm surging from the Breach.

Fighting alongside Dark Davis and Water Davis, Kari unleashed a barrage of dark energy blasts upon the Urgothians, the Arch-Savant remaining close by Kari's side as he fired several energy blasts from his hand cannons, accompanied alongside the Shadow who cut down any that tried to pass the barrage.

During the time Kari and the two variants of Davis fought alongside one another, the trio united as a team and keeping a close and protective eye upon the other's backs, Fire Davis, Nature Davis, Blaze, Jiraiya, Belezar, Cybrian and Faustian all moved to form a larger circle around the Dark Empress.

"Why do I feel like I've killed the same one three times already?" Kari found herself questioning as she swung her blade and beheaded one of her attackers, one whose life she was confident she had ended.

"They just reform within their realm." Nature Davis said in reply as he swung his hammer around, the impact sending a larger Urgothian flying backward and back into the Breach.

"As long as the vortex remains open, they will just keep coming, we need to seal it." Water Davis then remarked, before he, his variants, Kari and their partners looked on to see a large wave of the Urgothians swarming toward them.

Moving themselves before Kari and to ensure her protection, Fire Davis, Dark Davis, Water Davis and Nature Davis prepared to take the brunt of the Urgothian assault in order to keep their beloved protected.

Endeared by the bravery of the Davises, but refusing to stand back, Kari's eyes began to glow with a dark purple light, the Dark Empress ready to give it her all in order to protect her lovers from this vile threat.

Before the Urgothians could reach the Davises and Kari however, a sudden and powerful beam of light collided with the ground, incinerating the Urgothians before more pillars of light came crashing down from the skies, thinning out the numbers of the evil beings and causing the fighting to stop briefly, all then turned their attention toward one area of the clearing to see that another army had joined the battle.

Looking upon the monitors within the briefing room onboard Miracle's Reach, TK and the others were in awe as they looked upon the new arrivals, hearing them speak in chanting that reminds a few of a sermon in a cathedral as the ground forces of the new army consisted of humans, elves, dwarfs and what appeared to be a cross between humans and elephants clad in hi-tech golden armour, each adorned with holy icons and symbols of the Light Realm as some wielded spears of Light and shields, while others held energy rifles within their hands, the attire giving the soldiers a look that was a mixture of a knight and a Roman soldier.

Alongside these warriors were beings clad in black armour which was decorated with gold trimmings, while openings within their armours showed the creatures to be beings of pure light, each accompanied with the same weaponry as their allies as they stood in a line, chanting alongside robed priests and priestesses that moved through the rank and file.

As several of the soldiers moved to the side to allow a single woman, a high priestess of sorts to move to the front of the army, the woman stopping in her prayers and looking upon the Urgothians with narrowed eyes as a bright light began to shine behind and above the ground soldiers, this causing maybe to turn their gaze upward and above the ground army.

Within the skies, a massive fortress, similar to the Dark Citadel and its counterparts, floated within the air, a circular golden craft with three pillars around it and a large eye at the front, while around it was an armada of airships that looked like crescent moons, each releasing smaller fighter craft that resembled eagles with their wings spread.

Around the armada were legions of angelic warriors and beings that appeared to be elementals of light encased in armour, alongside massive creatures that were undoubtedly the children of the Light Dragon God, which included golden dragons that had energy wings and appeared machine-like in nature, the Light Dragons.

Along with these newer dragons were beings that appeared to resemble floating weapon platforms, seemingly floating around their centre forms, along with their golden wings, showing that these beings were the Arch Angels Verathiel had mentioned to Kari.

Finally, and amongst the children of Alpharius were beings that were close in appearance to the Arch Angels, but held the appearance of holy statues given life, their ornate faces and forms surrounded by light wings and floating weapons, the Seraphic, beings of light and honour that fought for the protection of all Alpharius' creations.

"The Host of Justice." Water Davis informed as he looked over the new arrivals, his words causing Kari's eyes, along with those watching onboard Miracle's Reach, to widen as they realized that the Light Realm had come to their aid.

Amongst the warriors of Light were individuals adorned with ornate armour, from humans to angels and all in between, each bound to a Child of Alpharius, the Arbiters.

And looking amongst them, one warrior stood out to the Dark Empress, a being floating just above the ground forces, a humanoid being clad within golden armour that appeared to be a cross between a monk and a knight.

A large scroll was tied to his back, white beads attached to a rope was tied around his waist, a pair of gauntlets with wings came from out toward the elbows and held golden gems upon them.

A similar rope with white beads rested around his neck, while a pair of winged like ornaments emerged from the being's shoulders, along with a series of light strands that formed wings emerging from the being's back.

Finally, the being's head was covered in a helmet which was adorned with four wings which emerged from the sides, while a pair of glowing golden eyes could be seen from the eye slits of the helmet, giving the warrior a powerful and imposing appearance.

Despite his fearsome appearance, Kari felt her eyes tearing up with joy as she knew that this was the Archon, that this was Light Davis, and that he was finally with her.

Behind the Archon, meanwhile, floated a large Arch Angel, one that held a humanoid form with two white wings emerging from its back, its body made of gold with blue trimmings as it looked upon the Urgothians with piercing golden eyes and looked ready to bring them down with a single strike.

Looking upon the Urgothians, Light Davis brought his right hand up and clenched his fist, the gem upon his gauntlet lighting up and sending out a shockwave of light, one that covered the area and, while not harming the warriors of Nexus, seemed to irritate the Urgothians, who expelled shrieks of rage as a large swarm of the vile creatures began to charge toward the Light Realm's lines.

"May we fight true in Alpharius' holy name." The high priestess then declared with a seriousness within her voice as she turned to face the soldiers behind her, uncaring of the swarm of Urgothians rushing toward her.

Moving her hands in prayer, the high priestess added with a further conviction within her voice. "Blessed be the Light!"

The priestess then turned and faced the oncoming abominations, falling to her knees in prayer as those watching onboard Miracle's Reach thought that she was crazy, especially as she remained in front of the soldiers instead of behind their shields.

But just as the Urgothians reached her and prepared to strike, many were skewered by the light spears, while others were struck down by blasts of light energy, the soldiers working in harmony as they began to strike down their enemies before they could even reach their lines, while the aerial forces began to move and strike at the flying Urgothians.

As beams of light and as his warriors struck down the Urgothian threat, Light Davis scanned the battlefield, before his eyes landed upon his variants, as well as the love of his life.

'Kari…' The Archon thought, before turning his head toward the Arbiter floating near him, his lieutenant within the Host of Justice, who nodded her head to silently let her commander know that they had things covered here.

Nodding a reply in thanks, Light Davis and his partner took off, the Archon flying towards Kari and his variants as they were once again surrounded by Urgothians, which all shrieked in pain from the light emanating from off of the Archon as his light based tendrils slammed into the ground, allowing him to safely land on the ground and before Kari and his variants.

Bringing the light wings upward, Light Davis then spun around quickly, the tendrils of light slashing through the Urgothians, before the Archon brought his gauntlets out, causing blades of pure light to form around his wrists, reminding those watching from the Digital World of UlforceVeedramon's weapons, before the Archon proceeded to cut down the vile abominations charging against him, against his variants and against Kari.

Taking a few Urgothians down, Light Davis then brought his right hand into the air as a spear of light then formed within his possession.

Throwing the weapon, the light pierced through and destroyed several Urgothians, before it plunged clean through the head of a giant warrior some distance away, the attack earning a painful cry from the giant as it fell backwards and into the Breach.

Back aboard Miracle's Reach, TK and the others watched on with awe and amazement to the power of the Archon, the group eager to see what else Light Davis was capable of.

"Show off." Dark Davis mumbled under his breath as he, his other variants and Kari moved closer to Light Davis, who merely spared his dark counterpart a glance as he remained alert for more Urgothian attacks.

"Let's save the banter for later." Fire Davis then suggested, looking up as Belezar turned his head toward Light Davis' partner.

"So nice of you to join us, Alcadeias." The Shadow Demon said to the Arch Angel, who merely glanced toward Belezar as he took in his newer form, alongside Blaze and Jiraiya's altered appearances.

"It is Alpharius' will that we fight together this day, may his divine will and that of the other Dragon Gods be fulfill this day!" Alcadeias declared with might, before the sounds of shrieking caused the five Davises, their partners, Kari and Faustian to turn as the Urgothians' full attention seemed to be on them, the abominations shrieking with pure rage and anger to see the five champions of Nexus now standing before them.

Standing in a circle alongside Kari, the five Davises prepared themselves for battle, before Blaze and Jiraiya expelled fearsome roars as they stood amongst Faustian, Belezar, Cybrian and Alcadeias, the twelve prepped and primed for battle as the Urgothians rushed against the group.

"The five champions of Nexus stand together once again." Ungala said with awe as many upon the battlefield watched as the five Davises, their partners, Kari and Faustian began to battle the Urgothians.

Moving together, Fire Davis and Light Davis used their blades to cut through many of the charging Urgothians, before Alcadeias' hands glowed with light energy that spread into his wings, where he unleashed a barrage of light energy blasts alongside blasts from Belezar, Faustian and Cybrian, striking down many of the flying abominations.

Seeing several Urgothian dragons heading their way, Blaze joined with Alcadeias, Belezar, Faustian and Cybrian as the fire dragon gathered energy into his torso canon, while his companions brought their hands together and gathered energy, which they then all released as powerful blasts of energy that consumed and annihilated the twisted dragons.

Below, Jiraiya moved at lightning speeds and cut through several larger Urgothian beasts, before he leaped into the air and was back to back with Blaze as the pair unleashed streams of flames upon their foes in a circle, clearing the way for their partners to continue the battle.

Seeing an opening, Nature Davis leapt into the air and brought his hammer down into the ground, shattering the earth and sending many of the Urgothians flying into the air, which Water Davis quickly anticipated their trajectories and fired a barrage of plasma energy upon his foes, destroying them before they could even hit the ground.

As more Urgothians surrounded him, the Arch-Savant looked to see both Light Davis and Dark Davis landed on either side of him, where Water Davis then brought up an energy shield around him as his light and dark variants brought their hands up and fired blasts of light and darkness at him, the barrier reflecting the attacks as they hit multiple Urgothians, they abominations dissolving with painful shrieks, before the Shadow and the Archon leapt into their air, with Dark Davis' cloak turning into shadowy wings as he and his light variant began to cut down more of the vile forces attacking them.

Back on board Miracle's Reach, Victor, Kenji and those from the Digital World watched with amazement as the five Davises, Kari and their partners worked together to take down the Urgothians, with many in awe to not only see all five Davises together, but their combined power and teamwork as well.

Returning to the battlefield, Kari's eyes glowed with dark purple light as the Dark Empress floated into the air and unleashed a series of dark fire dragon heads upon the Urgothians, burning many of them into ashes, before she invoked the Hunger of Mordrakus, watching as the shadowy image of the Dark Dragon God consumed more of horrid abominations.

Taking a moment to catch her breath, Kari then looked up and smiled behind her face mask as Light Davis descended to the ground and landed beside her, where she could sense his own warm smile behind his helmet.

"It's still going to take me a while to get used to this." The Archon confessed, the light variant of Davis still wrapping his head around the fact that his angel was now a being of darkness, a fact which didn't disturb him too much.

Refocusing as Fire Davis, Nature Davis, Dark Davis and Nature Davis surrounded them, Light Davis and Kari rejoined the fight as the five variants of the Motomiya and their beloved fought against the swarming Urgothians.

"I've got to admit, I am surprised you got here so fast." Fire Davis remarked toward his light variant as he cut down several Urgothians with his blades, the fire champion having believed that the Archon would have had to get approval and gather forces before he would be able to aid them.

"The Host of Justice was already on route to aid against Noctus when you called." Light Davis informed in reply as he cut down a large Urgothian with his blades, his words causing his variants and Kari to look at him with understandable surprise.

"Why the hell didn't you say anything?!" Fire Davis then questioned with a growing frustration within his voice, which he unleashed upon a group charging scarabs, the twisted insects shrieking as they burned away in a fiery inferno.

Looking briefly upon Dark Davis, the Archon said in reply. "The Conclave feared word reaching Noctus of our plan, and thus forbid me from informing you of our arrival."

"Plus… I was kind of hoping to make it a surprise, as I had received permission to join all of you once the battle was over." Light Davis added through his confession as he summoned another light spear and impaled a series of Urgothian warriors.

"Well, you are extremely late then, Noctus attacked hours ago." Dark Davis remarked as he swung his blade and unleashed a massive shockwave of darkness that consumed several charging foes, his remark surprising the Archon.

"Wait, seriously?!" Light Davis questioned in reply.

"Yes, he attacked the fairy kingdom's capital and almost succeeded in his goal, thrashing the Grand Guardian until he took his Mana Form and defeated the Eternal Lord." Water Davis told his light variant as he unleashed his drones, which began to fire a series of energy blasts upon the Urgothian waves.

"He didn't thrash me!" Nature Davis growled in annoyance as he swung his hammer at a group of charging foes, before slamming it down upon another as it splattered into a puddle of black blood, which then quickly retreated into the Breach.

"He most certainly thrashed your ass and we got it on film!" Dark Davis then announced as he struck down another foe, the Shadow ignoring the glare his nature variant sent his way.

"We also got it on film of you kicking his ass, so we'll show the Archon after we're done here." Fire Davis offered as he continued to fight against the attacking Urgothians.

As the Davises continued their banters, Kari couldn't help but smile to herself and to allow the love she felt to further consume her.

At long last, she had all of her Davises with her, and once this battle was over, they would sit down and plan out their futures together, a thought that left the Dark Empress feeling excited and happy, a feeling she felt that nothing could ruin.

Pushing through the Urgothian lines, the Host of Justice began to march forward and join the other Realms' forces in battle, the Arbiters joining their counterparts in battling their does as the High Priestess held her hands toward the sky and called out to the soldiers around her. "See now, the work of your faith!"

From her part of the battlefield, Ungala crushed several of the Urgothian abominations with her summoned vines, before the arch druidess felt a powerful and dreaded force coming from the Breach, one she had felt before, when the Urgothians last invaded, a power she knew all too well.

"He is coming!" Ungala shouted toward the Davises, who looked in her direction in surprise, before they too sensed the power, one Kari felt as well as she and her beloveds turned to face the vortex, watching as a massive beast crawled out of the abyss.

Being as large as MaloMyotismon, the being looked like a cross between a bear and an insect, consisting of a creature with two powerful arms and two smaller ones which emerged from its torso, while a mane of dark hair could be seen around its head, the appearance of the creature was a dreading sight.

The being's chest was completely opened, revealing a hollowness within, while a series of black vines wrapped around the creature's form, which furthered the creature's horrid appearance.

But most frightening, perhaps, was the creature's face, a skull with hollow eyes and a jaw lined with razor sharp teeth, a skull with large antler-like horns extending like tusks and from out of the sides of the beast's head, this giving the creature a nightmarish appearance.

"Velgoth." Light Davis growled as he and his variants prepared themselves for battle, while Kari remained behind them, ready to fight herself despite her confusion as she sensed a great and terrible power emanating from the wicked entity.

"Hunger… it Hungers… WE HUNGER!" Velgoth bellowed as he then expelled a fearsome and inhumane sound, a mixture of a shriek, roar and battle cry that echoed throughout the area, one the rest of the Urgothians joined in upon.

Steadying themselves, the five Davises, Kari and their allies prepared themselves for whatever horrors this new nightmare would bring.
