Robert decided to go to the airport to meet Ethan. He didn't want to risk him disappearing on him too. Ethan had been like the son he had never had, honestly he was his son. Robert would be lying if he said it didn't hurt that Holly had a child with Luke, even more so the timeline just never added up but what did it matter? They loved each other much like Holly loved Robin.

Sitting at the airport brought back memories, memories of Holly going to England and then Australia so they could start their new life. Their new life that was cut short. "Damn." He said to himself. He looked down at his phone. There was a picture him and Holly taken a few months ago. They were going to get it right, they had to. Then they didn't. Robert's mind flashbacked to them saying goodbye in 1985.

"I don't want to let you go." He remembered the tears on her face, her wanting to stay with him. Him wanting that more than anything but also wanting her safe.

"I've never loved anyone more than I love you right at this moment."

Damn, why couldn't life be like she had said. A straight line, happy and fulfilled. Instead someone kept going after her. Two months, nothing and he didn't even know. How could he? He was angry with himself. He pulled out her wedding ring. He kept trying to give it back to her since her return from the dead but then decided against it. Life kept getting in the way.

"We're never gonna be done with each other."

Robert didn't understand why he couldn't have just left things that way this time. He knew why though Holly wanted him to feel free to persue a relationship with someone else but the thing was there was no one else. It was Holly, it had always been Holly.

Robert felt a tapping on his shoulder, he looked up to see a blond young man with blue eyes looking at him with his mother's smile. "Ethan." Robert gave him a bear hug.

Ethan welcomed the hug. "You looked a million miles away." Ethan noticed that Robert was holding Holly's wedding ring.

Robert slid the ring back into his pocket. "I got a hold of Felicia. She's getting in contact with someone who can help us out." Robert wanted to focus on the task at hand. He didn't want to come undone.

Ethan knew what Robert was doing, he was very much like him in that way. "I am sorry I didn't contact you sooner but she had made it clear she needed to let you go."

Those words cut through Robert. They could never really let each other go. How could he be so stupid? "I should have..." He stopped, this would do no good. "I'm not mad at you Ethan, you were respecting Holly's wishes. I know when she doesn't want to be found she isn't found but this isn't her. She wanted to protect you."

"Let's just work on getting her back." Ethan suggested to Robert. He grabbed his bag.
