"Laura, I need your help." Robert's tone told her exactly how serious it is.

"Robert you know if I can you've got it." Laura told Robert.

Robert went back to his car, getting inside before he spoke. "Do you think you could fix it so that we can search Spoon Island?"

"Why?" Laura was confused by this question.

Robert sighed as he began to speak. "This stays between us but we have reason to think Holly is being held there."

"Held? What do you mean? You told me she went to help Ethan." Laura was confused but also concerned.

"That's what I thought. Ethan got a hold of me. Holly had called him but never left Port Charles." Robert tone told Laura just how worried he was.

"That was three months ago!" Laura stated what she knew was obvious. As someone who had spent the better part of her life being tormented by the Cassadines, she was never one to sit by and just let this happen. "Have you contacted the PCPD?"

"No, you know I believe in the law and what's right but they fumble things quite a bit, Holly's life isn't going to be one of them. Her kidnapper made it clear this was about revenge." Robert trusted Laura completely and knew this would go nowhere.

"Let me make a few calls. I'm going to come help you look." Laura told Robert

"Thank you." Robert ended the call. He looked at his passenger seat, running his hand over it.

Flashback to May 2023 in his office, Holly had kissed him.

Robert's arms immediately wrapped around Holly, pulling her closer until there was no space between them. Feeling Holly's arms around his neck felt so right, felt like home. The fact she initiated this kiss was even better.

This is where Robert's imagination often took over and Diane never showed up.

Robert cleared off his desk with one swift movement from his arm, moving his beloved Holly onto the edge of it. He still wanted her to take control.

Holly's hands found their way to his shirt, quickly unbuttoning it while her hands explored his chest.

Robert pushed Holly's skirt up, rubbing her leg while his lips never left hers.

Holly laid back on the desk. "I want you, Robert. I love you." She whispered, nibbling at his ear.

Holly's location

Holly was having the same fantasy.

"I love you." She mumbled in her sleep hugging herself. She always felt so safe in Robert's arms.

Holly opened her eyes and the fantasy was over. She was in that same room but she knew now Robert was moving heaven and earth to find her.

The Waterfront

Ethan knocked on Robert's car window. Whatever he was thinking of he was clearly deep in thought.

Robert's fantasy

Holly had reached for his belt removing it when they both heard someone knocking on the door.

"Bloody hell."

Robert mumbled, having to break the kiss from Holly. He kept staring into her eyes, in them he saw everything he could ever want. His home, his future.

Another few knocks.

End of fantasy

Robert opened his eyes to see Ethan at his window. He waved him over to get in on the passenger's side.

Ethan got in on the passenger side.

"Is Laura going to help find mother?" Ethan asked Robert. He felt his existence was a sore spot for Laura.

Robert nodded. "Despite what happened between your parents Laura and Holly are friends and even if not Laura would never let Holly suffer as some sort of revenge."

Ethan was relieved. "I know my existence is a sore spot for you both."

Robert shook his head. "I'm not going to pretend I wasn't hurt when I found out what happened between your mum and Luke but you are a part of her. In 85 she had to accept the fact that not only did I keep being married before from her I also had a child. Of course the latter being news to me as well but she accepted Robin fully, loved her from the start just like I love you."

Ethan gave Robert a weak smile. He was happy he had him but he wanted his mum.

"If I hadn't called her she would be here with you, happy." Ethan felt so defeated.

"Worried sick about our boy. She would do whatever she could for you, without hesitation. Don't beat yourself up. We all could have handled things differently." Robert told Ethan.

Ethan nodded, he wouldn't know what he would do without Robert.

There was a soft tapping on Robert's window. Robert was pleasantly surprised to see Laura. He rolled down his window.
