"Mother?" Ethan's faint voice said, hearing Holly's. He smiled keeping his eyes shut, knowing that his mother was safe.

Holly's face lit up as she moved close to her son, taking his hand in hers. "I'm right here Ethan, you all saved me."

Ethan's smile left his face, he opened his eyes. "Robert wouldn't give up and neither would I." He felt the ring on her finger then looked at Robert. "You did it?"

Robert moved closer too, a big grin on his face. "Yes, I told your mum I had some great advice too. Someone who told me to quit being such a knucklehead."

Ethan laughed a little. "I didn't put it that way but I can't argue with it."

Robert chuckled, putting an arm around Holly.

Ethan noticed the IV on Holly. "Are you alright?" He asked.

Holly nodded. "Yes, I'm perfect now. A little dehydrated but this is fixing that up. How are you feeling?"

Ethan could feel some pain but was very happy. "I've been better but I've also been worse. I didn't think Diane would shoot me." Ethan didn't trust Diane, that was no secret but the last thing he expected was to be shot by her.

"You know, it's a long story. One your mum and I will tell you all about once you are rested up." Robert didn't think now was the time to explain everything,

Ethan nodded, he wasn't in the mood to argue. "Mum should probably get some rest too."

"I've rested enough." Holly held onto his hand.

"Ethan is right, you have been through an ordeal." Robert added.

Holly looked between them both. "So it's like that? You two are going to team up here?"

"When it comes to looking after you? Yes. Besides we make a great team." Robert looked at Ethan, the son he had never had who was actually the son who was stolen from him.

"Robert's right. We didn't fight to get you back for you to not take care of yourself." Ethan quietly said.

Holly shook her head and smiled. "You both win this time but don't get used to it."

Ethan smiled and reached out for Robert's hand. Robert took it. "Write this down, it's a historical moment."

Robert started laughing.

Holly laughed too. "What am I going to do with you two?" She asked, looking over at Robert.

Robert gave a shrug. "All I know is you and I are going to quit running from each other and since I took your advice Ethan. I think you should take mine, have a talk with Annie."

Ethan nodded. "I would like that."

"I think we should give them a moment." Holly placed a kiss on Ethan's cheek. "I love you."

"I love you too." Ethan told her.

Robert, Holly and Laura left the room.

"I'm so glad you are okay." Annie smiled at Ethan, she wanted to take his hand but wasn't sure how he would feel about that.

Ethan put his hand out to her. "I'm so glad you are here."

Annie took his hand. "Do you need me to get the doctor?"

Ethan shook his head. "I need to listen to Robert. I told him not to hold back his feelings for my mum. I know he was telling me to do the same with you. I know we just had a fling but it meant something to me. When you were there for me, comforting me about thinking I lost my mum, telling me all those stories about your father. I really felt we had a strong connection."

"I did too, then I didn't hear from you." Annie frowned.

"That was not on purpose. Victor Cassadine's men got me when I was trying to save my mum. I spent years being held." Ethan told her. "I know I had a few months I could have contacted you but I was so hell bent on proving my mum was still alive. I won't apologize for that because we never quit on each other."

"I don't expect you to. I wouldn't quit on my mom either." Annie told him. "I do have something I need to tell you though."

Holly's hospital room

Laura had some things to take care of. She said goodnight to Robert and Holly then left. Holly had gotten back on the bed. The doctor came in and told her there was no reason to keep her unless she wanted to stay and be observed overnight. Part of her wanted to because of Ethan but part of her didn't want to stay in the hospital over night.

"What are you thinking?" Robert asked her.

"I'm thinking I go back home with you and borrow those pajamas again after we say goodnight to Ethan." Holly smiled at him.

Robert had a grin on his face, remembering just how adorable she looked in those pajamas. He leaned in and whispered. "I won't try to sleep above the covers this time and I'll stay the whole night."

Holly blushed and laughed.

Ethan's hospital room

"What is it?" Ethan asked Annie, hoping everything was okay.

Annie knew she had to tell him about Seana, especially since Robert, Holly and Laura knew. She took out her phone and pulled up the picture, handing him the phone.

Ethan looked at the picture, unsure of why she was showing it to him. "Cute kid, looks a lot like my mu..." It hit him. That wasn't just a kid, that was his kid.

Annie smiled at him. "She does look a lot like her grandmother."

Ethan had tears in his eyes. "Ours? That's my little girl?" Ethan was clearly choked up.

"Yes she's our. Seana Mae." Annie smiled at him. "I wanted to tell you as soon as I found out but I couldn't figure out how to get a hold of you, my dad also wasn't doing well. He got to see her though."

Ethan smiled up at her. "I'm glad to hear it. I know how much you love him."

Holly's hospital room

Holly had gotten dressed in the clothes Laura brought her while Robert changed into the pair she had brought him in the bathroom.

"These fit nicely, I'll have to thank Laura again." Holly smiled, looking at her ring once again.

"So will I. You can make anything look gorgeous." Robert admired her, still so in awe that he had her back.

Holly blushed. "You! You clean up pretty nicely too."

Robert grinned at her. "So I've been told. It's never meant as much coming from anyone but you."

Holly felt her heart skip a beat, could this be real? If it wasn't she was going to keep this dream going. "Still such a flirt."

Robert walked over to her, taking her hand. "Only with you." He kissed it tenderly. "I love you."

Holly looked at him lovingly. "I love you, before we go I want to say goodnight to Ethan. Make sure he has your number and that he knows to call us if he needs anything."

Robert nodded. "Of course. You ready to go see our boy?"

"Always." Holly took his hand, leading the way back to Ethan's room.

Ethan's room

"I hope our daughter has the same relationship with you. I asked Robert if he could be a grandfather to her since both of hers are gone, I hope that is alright with you." Annie pulled up another picture of their daughter.

"Of course. Robert is like another father to me." Ethan's whole face lit up seeing his little girl. "When can I meet her?" He asked.

"I can see if my mom can bring her here. She's in Ireland with her right now." Annie told him.

There was a knock on the door. Robert and Holly walked in.

"Mum, I'm a father." Ethan already knew Robert and Holly knew but still wanted to tell them too.

Holly's face lit up at the smile that was on Ethan's, her beautiful boy was so happy. "Congratulations, I'm so happy for you." She went over and gave him a hug.

Ethan wrapped his arms around her, holding her tight. "Annie is going to see if her mother can bring her to meet me, meet us."

Holly's couldn't help but smile. She hadn't seen Tiff in so long. "I would love that and to see Tiff again."

Ethan realized Holly had on regular clothes. "You busting out?"

Holly nodded. "Unless you want me to stay. I need a nice long shower and a comfy pair of Robert's pajamas."

"No, you need to be in tip top shape grandma." Ethan grinned.

"I'll take good care of her." Robert told Ethan.

"I know you will. I can't wait for Seana to meet you either grandpa." Ethan reached out to shake Robert's hand.

Robert shook his. "Yes, I can't wait to meet the little darling,"

"Go home and get some rest." Ethan told Holly. "You both deserve it."

Robert and Holly said their goodbyes to Ethan. giving Annie Robert's number incase Ethan needed them before heading back to the Metro Court.
