The three of them looked up as Dante opened the door. "Hey guys, sorry to interrupt. I need to get some statements from you all about what happened last night." He looked at Holly. "Glad to see you are alright. Diane seems to have taken great pleasure in telling us what she did to you all through the years." Dante shook his head.
"Thank you." Holly said as she held onto Robert and Ethan's hands. "Nothing can break us though."
"You don't have to answer this but is what she is saying true? Are you really not Luke's?" Dante asked Ethan.
Ethan was so annoyed that she was running her mouth about that to anyone who would listen at the PCPD.
Holly decided to answer after Ethan gave her hand a squeeze. "Yes it is true. I don't have to tell you what poison The Cassadines are."
Dante shook his head then looked back at Ethan. "As far as I'm concerned you will always be Rocco and Charlotte's uncle. They know you, they love you and so does Lulu."
Ethan smiled and nodded. "I love them too."
The three of them gave their statements, Holly's being more in detail about what Diane had done to her while keeping her in there. Robert and Ethan were so angry with what she had gone through but also so glad to just have her back and know she was safe.
When Dante was finished getting the statements he left. Annie woke up and saw everyone there. "Good morning." She smiled at them.
"Why don't you go grab a shower, something decent to eat? We aren't leaving Ethan for a while." Robert suggested.
"I don't really want to go but since Seana and mom will be here later today I probably should." Annie's face lit up at the thought of her little girl actually getting to meet her father.
"Wait I have something to tell you before you go." Ethan said as he put his free hand out, Holly still had a hold of the other.
Annie took his hand. "What is it? Did something happen when I was asleep?" Annie asked them, unable to hide her worry.
Ethan took a deep breath, he was still letting this sink in but knew the mother of his child needed to know. "I'm not a Spencer."
Annie looked at him and then Holly. "What are you then?" She asked.
Holly looked at Ethan. "I can tell her if it's easier."
Ethan nodded.
"The Cassadine's implanted memories of an affair that never happened, Ethan is mine and Robert's son, he's a Scorpio." Holly didn't feel the need to go too into detail, she figured Ethan could do that later if he chose to.
Annie was shocked. "Wow, that family! You know my mother has never been a fan of them and I can see why." Annie looked back at Ethan, squeezing his hand. "Are you okay?"
Ethan gave another nod. "I won't pretend I'm not having to get used to it but Robert's a good man, he's been like a father to me for years."
"Because of this beautiful woman we've always had that connection. What's part of Holly is part of me." Robert said.
"Quite literally in my case." Ethan gave a small smile, looking at Annie. "Go take care of yourself. Mother and Robert aren't going anywhere." Ethan smiled at Annie.
Annie gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I'll be back in a little bit." She left the room.
"I'm so excited to meet your daughter." Holly said as she looked at Ethan. "I hope you don't mind if I'm a very involved grandmother. Not overstepping but just the spoiling part."
Ethan's face lit up, he knew what was stolen from Holly and Robert and he genuinely wanted them to play a big role in Seana's life. "I'm counting on it. Annie gave me some more pictures of her. Do you want to see them?"
Holly nodded, a big smile on her face as she pulled Robert over. "I would love to."
Ethan took out the pictures.
"Oh I can definitely see your mum in that one." Robert said, referring to a picture of Seana pouting.
Holly laughed. "You know I would argue that but I can only hope I'm that adorable."
Ethan laughed. "Annie said she is very stubborn but also sweet. I really can't believe I am a father."
"It's a great gig isn't it?" Robert smiled, looking at his granddaughter.
"Yes and I haven't even got to the part where I get to hold her yet."
Holly kissed his head. "You know you are going to make the best father, you are going to make sure she is so loved and safe and she has three grandparents the are going to do the same."
Ethan smiled. "Yes she does. I'm going to do my best. Might need some advice if you are up to it Robert."
Robert nodded, returning his son's smile. "Always."
The three of them sat, just marveling at the little girl that was sure to bring so much joy to their lives, what happened the day before not seeming as important. Obviously they were going to seek justice against Diane but for the time being they were just being a family, waiting to meet the littlest member.
