"I'm only here because I have a few things I need to say about the pain you have caused." Robert made it clear right from the start. He wasn't there to play any games, he was there to let her know exactly what he thought of her. "You know there was a time I considered you a friend."

Diane's smile grew, she knew she had gotten to be more than that. She also knew Holly was probably watching on the other side. Maybe this was another way to get at her, to try to hurt them. "Oh it was more than that, you know it."

The look of disgust on Robert's face could not be hidden. This woman had spent decades hurting them, hurting Holly, robbing them of raising their son together. If she thought he felt anything for her but disgust she was wrong. "It was all a lie, besides you know damn well where my heart was, still is."

Diane rolled her eyes, of course he was talking about Holly. If only she could have kept her captive a little while longer. "Yes with that con. You know it's not a good look for you."

"And this is a good one for you?" Robert quipped, he wasn't about to let anyone tear Holly down. She hadn't been dealt the best cards but she always tried to overcome it. He was proud of her. "Holly is the best thing for me." Robert meant that with all of his heart. When she wasn't around things just didn't mean as much.

"Oh save it for Holly. I know you Robert, I know you will get bored with her and want some kind of adventure." Diane stated, she knew Robert had the itch for adventure back in the day and that's how she was able to get to Holly. "You know I've got a lot more that I could tell you, things that will not only break your heart but also make you angry but I know as a lawyer I need to start keeping my mouth shut."

Frankly Robert had had enough of her, enough of these games. He could only hope that she really planned on staying quiet. "You know you are some piece of work. Going out of your way to try to fool this town, I won't say I didn't become your friend because I definitely did and to some degree I trusted you but not fully. Felicia and Laura I trust fully, Holly I trust fully not a mob lawyer who was always trying to use me, always getting onto me for preferring spending time with the love of my life, and I did. The only reason you and I would have ever became anything is it was easier, it wasn't much else. What you did to Holly and Ethan is the most unforgiveable thing in the world. You stole my son, made my wife think she had had an affair and for no good reason besides revenge. You tried to break Holly but she kept rising up, you tried to kill Ethan but you failed at that too. We have something you will never know, never even begin to know."

"Oh let me guess, love?" Diane made a gagging noise. She hated that they were brought back together. She also hated Robert being so sure in something that she had tried to mess up.

"Yes, I love her more than I've ever love any other woman and those other women do not include you. I did at a time care about you, considered you a friend but those days are long gone." Robert stated, he knew his heart had him holding back from anyone that wasn't Holly, it always had. He had tried to move on with Cheryl, Katherine and Anna but a big piece of his heart was always Holly's and always would be, especially with him knowing she was alive.

Diane rolled her eyes at Robert. She wanted to gloat, to get at him like she hoped she had with Holly but she was not in the mood for this. "I'm done with this conversation."

"Funny, I'm done with you." Robert walked out of the door to the room. There was more he wanted to say, he had so much anger and hurt but he knew right now it wasn't the best way to go. That is what Diane would want, for him to lose his cool. Robert walked over to Mac. "Where is Holly?" He asked him.

Mac shrugged and looked around. "Dante you see Holly?"

"Um yeah, she went out the door about five minutes ago. Didn't catch where she was going." Dante told them, he didn't think much of Holly leaving. Figured she wanted fresh air after what she had been through.

Robert hurried out the door to the PCPD, determined to find her.
