I'm really sorry this chapter is so short, I've had a lot with school going on, and my stress levels were really high. I would love to hear about your dance proposals since that season is soon and that's what's happening soon in the story. I got asked to prom last year but it was by this creepy dude that couldn't respect my boundaries, so I said no. I hope this year someone okay asks me, but I've never talked to the guy I like right now tbh. T_T I don't think I'll get asked again now. Good luck to the people that plan to ask.
Happy reading.

-Damian POV-
She was the most infuriating girl he'd ever met. Even that Blackbell girl had nothing on her, despite how annoying she was, he thought, throwing his bag onto his bed. The way her short pink hair swished from side to side when she talked, the silly horns on her head, her voice, the way she treated him, the way she didn't care at all about him, it infuriated him so much. Couldn't she care a little?
Every other girl had always done whatever he wanted. They were all the same.
But she was so different.
He hated her.
No. Who was he kidding? Even Emile and Ewen, two idiots who couldn't take a hint were starting to catch on that he didn't hate her as much as he claimed, or rather, at all.
He flopped onto his bed running his fingers through his dark hair. He needed to make a move soon or else someone else would take her. He'd already heard rumors that some other brat planned to ask her to the sole dance Eden hosted for seniors only. He needed to talk to her.
Just as he thought that, her words rang through his head,
"Don't bother talking to me."
He'd messed up so badly this time, he thought, burying his head in his pillow. She just couldn't understand how he felt. He could never tell her, but maybe he could stop that worthless fuck from asking her out. He couldn't lose to someone like him.
He grabbed his phone, clicking on his group chat with Ewen and Emile,
Today:
Damian: Hey, I heard that someone wanted to ask that runt out. Help me mess up his plan.
Ewen: Boss you are starting to become kind of obsessed with that girl. You're really scaring us.
Emile: Shut up, Boss asked us to do something important. What should we do to uggo?
Damian: We need to mess up his dance proposal.
Ewen: How?
Damian: We need to be there at the right time. Emile, find out when he plans to ask. Ewen, make sure that the area is free on that day.
Ewen: Yes Boss.
Emile: Of course, Boss.
Damian shut his phone off with a smirk as he got up to go find his going out jacket. He needed to plan a way to apologize to her. One that would be more overtop and interesting than anything he could do. Maybe he could even ask her out in the process.
His head throbbed at the thought of the other guy liking her. Maybe she liked him too. Maybe everything would be for nothing. Maybe he was just not enough.
No. He was Damian Desmond. He couldn't think like that. No average person would take Damian Desmond's girl. He pushed the negative thoughts away, zipping the black jacket up and grabbing his dog, Max, leash, and the duo walked casually out the door, towards the flower shop. He'd make the best apology ever.
