-Damian POV-
He'd never been more bored out of his mind sitting there during detention, waiting for it to finally be over. Ewen and Emile had been making faces at him the whole time, but he'd just ignored their stupidity. He didn't have time for foolish things. The time to act was soon. He couldn't let his guard down so stupidly again, especially to someone like Alistair.
When his punishment ended after what felt like eternity, he scrambled down to his car where Jeeves was waiting for him.
"Young Master, are you okay? You seem paler than normal."
Damian shook his head,
"Don't worry. Let's just go home, Jeeves."
Jeeves nodded, shifting the car's gear,
"Actually, Jeeves," Damian stammered, "I have something I want to ask you."
Jeeves eyes widened from what Damian could tell through the mirror,
"What is wrong, Young Master? I am sure I can help you."
Damian nodded and took a deep breath,
"Jeeves, how do I tell someone I like her?"
Jeeves smiled in the mirror, his eyes not leaving the road,
"Well, you could start by being nice to them and trying to help them out as much as you can. Girls like guys who are polite to them. However, you must also make sure that you don't make her feel uncomfortable. If you are too overbearing, then she will feel very uncomfortable. You should try to give subtle signs that you like her too, but also if she asks, be honest with her. Girls hate liars. Be yourself, Young Master Damian, because any girl would be lucky to have someone as caring as you, but also accept her feelings if she does not feel the same way as you do. Never force your feelings onto someone."
Damian nodded his head in agreement as Jeeves stopped at the house,
"Jeeves, have you ever had someone that you loved so much that you just can't stop thinking about them?"
Jeeves shook his head,
"Of course, Young Master. That was a long time ago, long before I came to work for your family."
Damian's head shook from side to side slowly,
"Okay. Thank you."
He leapt out of the car as Jeeves went to park it in the garage besides the Desmonds' fourteen other cars, heading inside. No one else was home. His brother was probably out with his boyfriend, his mother somewhere else, and his father doing something top secret as usual. Not even his dog Max was around; he was at the dog groomer's. Damian flopped onto his bed, sighing deeply. God he wished she was here with him, so he wouldn't be so alone for a moment at least.
As he was just starting to settle down for a nap, his phone buzzed. He ignored it, but the noise kept going. It was buzz after buzz after buzz. Annoyed by the nuisance he grabbed his phone to look at the notifications.
DAMIAN IS IT TRUE?

The messages just kept going on and on and on. What the hell was going on? He swiped open his phone (the latest model of course) and quickly texted his group chat with Emile and Ewen:
Damian: Hey, what's going on?
Emile: Boss, apparently there's this rumor that you like Becky
Ewen: Yeah it's really weird, especially since we thought you liked uggo
Emile: BRUH DON'T TELL HIM THAT
-Ewen has deleted a message-
Damian: Where did it come from?
Ewen: Check the Stella Star group chat
He quickly went to the Stella Scholar group chat that all of the Stella Scholars in their grade were in and an unknown number had sent a picture of him and Becky Blackbell kissing. The picture was obviously fake, but of course everyone had taken it in stride, eager for some gossip about Damian. He rolled his eyes, but then panic set in.
Anya definitely had to have seen this. What would she think? Especially after she had just forgiven him. No. No one sane would believe that he and Blackbell were a thing. Anya was intriguing, but Becky was just straight up crazy.
He reopened the Stella Scholars group chat:
Damian: I'm sorry, but I like someone else.
Unknown Number: But does she like you?
Damian: Who are you?
Unknown Number: Your worst nightmare.
Damian: If you hurt anyone I care about, I'll become yours real soon.
Unknown Number: I wonder if you can guess who I am.
Damian: Alistair, it's pretty obvious, you can drop the act now.
Unknown Number: You think me so lowly? You are so sad, silly little Damian Desmond.
Damian: Then, who are you?
-Unknown Number has left the group chat.-
Damian threw his phone across onto his bed; it landed with a soft thud. He needed to go see her and set things straight.
I am so sorry that this chapter was shorter. I am really busy right now but I really wanted to get this chapter out and I'm still working on trying to make longer ones. So much stuff has happened lately. I finally talked to my crush for the first time! He hung out with my friends and I and he's so silly. I also got a tarot reading the other day and I'm going with my friend soon!
Also if you're an ao3 reader, I publish this story on there too and I might not be able to post everything on here in the future because of guidelines, so I will make sure to add a note for those chapters. If you want the full thing, please look there in those cases. Luckily we haven't gotten there yet though so we're still good!
Thank you for reading!
