62. Uninvited Guest

Somin and Teho

Saturday morning was a chaotic mess. Somin finally decided after she paced for an hour in the flat like a mouse in a zoo cage that she'd have to take a train. The prospect of being crowded in a school bus with her classmates terrified her.

Too many people.

Some other students went by their respective cars.

It's only for two days.

Her mind raced as she battled with her bag, folder, and smaller handbag to the train station. Pink hair was tamed into two messy down buns, small strains sticking out from it like spikes, there was no room for elegance in a heavy dark blue coat on.

We're going up the hill, It'll be cold.

A knee-length warm checkered dark blue skirt made her calves visible in shiny dark gray stockings with a subtle stripe pattern. Under the coat, she wore a light pink knitted sweater with an oval neckline.

Do I only have clothes Cholsu picked out for me?

Mia was already gone, volunteering to be the early one with other assistants, helping prepare the hut with teachers.

She seemed distant since that last incident.

Their days passed without any quality friend time, Somin got scared that Mia decided to "unfriend" her however she was still being her nice self to the pink-haired cockblocker.

Something was clearly troubling her.

This will do her good and the teachers already love her so much. The spotlight will surely fix her mood.

...

"Ya, Somin-ah, it looks like the bags are trying to mug you." That laughter was wicked.

"Aren't you going by school bus? You need supervision, it shouldn't be legal to leave you without a leash," Somin remarked, knowing he had a reserved seat as it was supposed to be arranged in advance.

"Aren't you going by bus too?" he questioned her back.

"I'm not in the mood to watch you being in love with your own bullshit." He passed this on with no reply.

"Ya, let me show you how strong and manly I am, so you can love me even more," Teho let out.

It sounded awfully corny. Teho got caught by surprise, feeling this awkward.

Somin rolled her eyes at him dramatically as he took her backpack and big folder with ease.

"Keep telling yourself fairytales, it is the only thing you can do best." The small girl allowed him to help her.

It'll be a pain to get to the train station in time.

"Well, you haven't given me a chance to show you, so you can't judge." He couldn't let it go.

"You showed too much already," Somin said.

Jeez, that sounded weird. She cringed.

The memory of thrusting Teho showing his legs and arms invited itself. All ruffled, flushed, and seductive, tight dark boxers packed, her shocked self couldn't unsee it.

She eyed him up shyly as he battled to figure out how to carry all of her stuff.

An unbuttoned caramel coat showed a snow white turtleneck with a subtle pattern,
making him seem like a snow prince charming.

Her eyes trailed lower to his matt black pants and stylish brown shoes.

"I saw that..." the dashing photographer said softly, barely noticeable and his stomach fluttered a bit.

...

Teho finally found a comfortable pose to walk, barely stable. Somin wanted to praise his gentleman-like effort so she got closer and boldly took the heavy camera off his neck.

Meeting his eyes up close, "I'll be gentle," clumsily trying to comfort him, seeing the question in his eyes, taking away his baby.

"I hope you won't be." His answer cut the air and their eyes briefly met, both heated with the unspoken implications.

Somin put the camera on her neck and got going. Fuck, that's heavy.

They arrived a bit earlier at the train station and Teho went to buy himself a ticket.

"Let's go, Somin-ah, somebody has to watch over you, or else you end up in a different part of the country." He energetically walked over to the train.

"Wait... what?" The shy Somin ran behind him.
