Uniquely Specialist 2 - or 'How this is not what I wanted for my Isekai, what do you mean Fairies are OP?' (Winx Club Specialist!SI)

Notes: This is an old chapter from an year ago. Previously a QQ exclusive.

It's been just two days since my first move against the Trix and, if I have to be honest, I didn't expect much to happen anytime soon.

The first season of this series was known to be paced in a manner where the world wasn't getting screwed on a daily basis. While that didn't give me a reason to be lazy over my role, it allowed me to plot on how to mating press the plot until it gave up from trying to make my life a living hell. Because, if I have to be honest, there were plenty of reasons to try and derail the first two-three seasons through a couple of planned missions.

I wasn't entirely confident on what I was doing since I was venturing on some lore-stuff that may as well have never been entertained by the show but... the Trix could be beaten through the use of their own families. If there's something I remember about them from the very beginning was the fact that their parents are never mentioned, but that the Cloud Tower's Headmistress had something to do about guardianship and stuff like that.

Were the girls orphan? Not truly. I decided to focus on their leader since she was the main drive and the arch-mean girl which was behind the whole mess. Neutralizing her would break the Trix apart for good. So, how did she end up Headmistress Griselda's ward? The answer to that question manifested right as I was asked by Professor Codatorta to visit his office through my personal communicator.

He was pretty much the action man of Red Fountain, the strict soldier-man that was actually a good guy once you manage to impress him for long enough. With months wasted suffering under his infernal training schemes, I could rightfully say that I wasn't worried on why he wanted me there.

And I was right, the man was actually interested in some searches I have been doing through one of the advanced terminals in the library, and he was rightfully concerned on what I found at the end of this digging.

"Cadet Bukharin, take a seat. Now."

Everything was an order. Not in a formal sense of it, but rather in the 'I am the owner of this place, you are my guest. Don't piss me off' sort of take. I complied without hesitation and the man was quick to bring up some of the pages I found as the result of my search. He gave me a serious look which could have frozen the Dragon Fire due to how intense it felt.

"Do you understand that this is worthy of concern from me, Cadet Bukharin? Looking into reserved material, all because you wanted to know something about one of your current issues' backstory?"

I blinked. "I am just trying to neutralize the threat entirely without allowing escalations to ensue."

"Pray tell, how do you plan to do so if the planet you are trying to go to is considered a 'Lost Cause' by a years-old dimensional decree?"

That had been a peculiar thought to have. But seriously, how was I supposed to know Icy's backstory connected to her birthplanet having been encased in pure magical ice and snow? Still, it wasn't a genuine issue since the cause of it was known by the authorities- A Shaman-Witch that used a powerful spell which drained her of most power she harnessed from the planet's own lifeforce.

In layman's terms, if you send a good team there, the planet can be cleaned up within a week time.

Sadly, there was some hesitation from the higher-ups to attempt something like that. Maybe it had to do with the fact that the recent decline on new recruits is forcing older generations to stay around a bit longer than usual. That meant the available manpower pool for both Specialists and Paladins was growing more slim by the month.

"By taking steps on having such a classification rescinded for good."

Codatorta's eyes were murderous- or appeared murderous as the man had the whole 'tough guy' emotion set down to a fucking T and at times it was difficult to tell if he was purposely exaggerating or not. In this occasion, i could tell he wasn't joking around.

"You will not go to Dyamond."

Dyamond, as the name may entail, was a prosperous world with numerous high-density crystal mines which allowed it to be quite rich and one of the dimension's most renown stops during the holidays. Mostly around December, the cold temperatures were just right to allow for ski resorts to be a thing. Then crazy witch bitch came by and caused massive issues around.

I held back a huff, but allowed a dismayed nod as a reaction. "Duly noted. Am I allowed to keep this as a potential option in case things get out of control?"

"...You may."

Small victory, but even there Codatorta looked reluctant to give me permission with the 'only in case things go stupidly retard' option. I wasn't sure how I was going to sell if once the Trix got a bit more serious, but I was now going to get a bit more cunning to avoid more issues to come in my way due to my little intermission. I doubt they will be so stupid to fall for the same trick once again.

So, I just planned a way to get them to trip on the same trick again. I mean, where was the fun in dealing with the same foes so frequently if I don't get to dominate their brains with my mindgames?

And it just so happened to be the very day when the Trix tried something while Bloom and co. were outside of Alfea.

Bloom was confident, and yet she was nervous.

She had just recently unlocked her fairy form, and while she was powerful enough to match up with Icy, she could tell that brute force wouldn't help them in this situation. She should have known that this place was set to be a perfect ambush that took into account their current advantages- the Trix were a dangerous trio after all, cunning and malicious to the core.

Stella was being held in an uncomfortable electric prison, and she could get hurt or worse if they didn't surrender her ring to the witches. Bloom's transformation faltered, she knew she wasn't ready yet to take a gamble by fighting and she believed the fake ring was going to convince the witches to free Stella.

Or... at least that was the plan when three familiar nets descended from the dark ceiling and upon the unaware witches. Cue some screaming as the nets suddenly produced electricity and the villains falling on the ground. Bloom was familiar with this setup, and as Stella's magical prison faltered, her semi-conscious body was caught by a very familiar figure to the Fairy from Earth.

It was the same boy from before, and he looked quite... calm. Very collected, very at ease- it almost felt insulting how unfazed he was before the troublesome trio, but she was more glad that he was there to help.

"So, I do recall saying something about not straying. It also meant as a group wandering into a clear trap," The brunet commented as he helped Stella to stand up. "Now, I don't blame any of you- after all, you are quite strong and all, but perhaps you should not waltz into a trap meant to counter that."

"Why are you here now? Why weren't you there when they attacked me at Alfea-"

"Faragonda's precise instructions," The boy interjected Bloom's line of questioning. "She told me to be the one keeping an eye on you while you are not at school. I believe she is super-confident, if not arrogant to an extent, that her school is Trix-proof or something like that."

Stella blinked a few times, but nodded at him as he asked her something with a whisper as he let go of her and she could properly stand.

"What are you going do to with the witches?" Musa asked, slightly unsure what was going on. "Also, who are you affiliated to?"

"Red Fountain, I am a student there- a solo Specialist you may say. And these troublemakers will go back to their headmistress."

"She did nothing to stop them the first time around, why would it matter now?" Bloom pressed on, knowing this may be a futile action.

"Well... first thing first, it's the legal thing to do. Second thing, I believe you are familiar with baseball so you should now the three strikes rule. It applies here too- just let the headmistress catch them in their wrongdoings."

The others were ready to now ask for more, but the young man huffed, picking up the nets.

"Also, gotta go. I have homework to do back at the dorms. Ciao~!"

Once again, he shifted the nets through a portal and left through it himself. There was quiet at first, but then Stella, already recovering from her brief kidnapping, was upon her with a very familiar look that suggested much teasing and extreme embarrassment on her side of things. And Bloom was wrong with that assumption.

"Bloom~," Stella mumbled, a finger pressing by the side of her lips as she gave her most recent friend a cheeky smile. "Could it be that you weren't really dreaming about Brandon yesterday~?"

The girls jumped at this topic, and Bloom really wanted to hide at that point due to how many things were being hurled at her poor embarrassed mind.

Stupid mysterious boy and his stupid dream-worthy abs!

AN

Bloom shall have no mercy in that teasing.

Also, the first half about Dyamond is legit lore just from one of the latest seasons. How do I know? There's a wiki, and I learned that Icy has a legit family. Expect some headpattable entities to appear through that story arc.
