Summary: 20 contestants battle it out on a private resort in a tropical paradise hosted by the amazing Chris McLean, and his assistant, Chef Hatchet. In a brand new season of twists and turns, who will walk away with the prize?

Episode 1: Meet The Cast

Honolulu, Hawaii

Chris McLean would be sipping on his coffee, before noticing that the camera was on. "YO! I'm Chris McLean, and we're here with a brand-new season of Total Drama! Just like usual, we've brought in a brand new cast of twenty contestants from around the world who are gonna battle it out for a mystery grand prize…that will be revealed once our contestants arrive!"

"But with a brand new season comes a brand new location! After hearing the original cast complain about their first season not being at a fancy resort, I thought a bit and figured that we should have a season at a resort! So here we are at the renowned Honua Lani Resort on a small island just off the coast of Honolulu, Hawaii, where we've been granted usage of this island for the whole season! Ain't that awesome! Anyway, I'm sure all of you watching at home are dying to check out the resort itself, but we'll go into detail into everything there is to see in it when everyone gets here."

The sound of a yacht's horn blared in the distance, getting Chris' attention and bringing a smile to the man's face.

"Right on time!"

On the first yacht was a woman who had icy blue eyes, and platinum blonde hair tied into a braid. She wore a white hoodie with blue ripped jeans, white socks, and white and blue running shoes. She had a fanny-pack around her waist, which carried her Epi-Pen. The girl also wore a bracelet with the Lesbian flag on it.

"Rebekah Vellark!" Chris McLean introduced the girl.

"So you're going all out this season, huh? Cool," the girl said briskly, stepping onto the dock with her luggage.

"Were you expecting anything less?" Chris laughed as the 2nd yacht approached. A young man stepped onto the dock with a confident smirk as he looked at the resort, his smile widening. The man had neatly combed dirty blonde hair and almond shaped hazel eyes that were hidden behind a pair of designer sunglasses. Shown clearly within his smile were perfect, pearly white teeth which lined his perfectly clear skin. A button-down black shirt fit snugly around his figure, as did his blue jeans and sneakers, all high-end designer brands, of course.

"And here he is, the male model himself!" Chris greeted. "Welcome to the show, Fernando!"

"Now this, this is a place I can get used to!"

The next yacht would soon arrive…and on it, would be a girl in a wheelchair. The wheelchair was black and violet. The girl has a fair skin tone, brown eyes with black eyeshadow and eyeliner, and very messy long brown hair. She was wearing a navy blue dress with white vertical lines running down the dress and black and white sneakers, as well as silver earrings and a matching silver necklace.

"Lucille! Welcome!" Chris let out, as a ramp would come down from the yacht. Lucille would easily roll herself down the ramp, with her luggage, along with a violin case.

"Thanks, Chris! I'm so glad I'm able to compete! I'm really hoping that me being in a wheelchair won't hinder me while I compete," Lucille let out, before wheeling herself over to Fernando and Rebekah.

The fourth contestant was a rather tall man that nearly towered over the girls and was just a fair bit taller than Fernando. His hair was neatly shaved into a brown buzz cut and his calculating brown eyes scanned everyone and everything he could see. One would think the scar above his left eyebrow bothered him, but he acted like it didn't even exist. He wore a plain gray t-shirt, olive green pants and brown work boots. A pair of dog-tags hung from his neck.

"Walter, at ease!" Chris greeted. "Welcome to the island!" The soldier huffed and gave the host a nod as he stood with the others.

On the next yacht were two people. One stern, looking adult female, and a girl who nearly looked exactly like her mother. The girl had a fair skin tone, and a slim, slender body, like a female model's. She also had a little bit of muscle, due to working out from time to time. She had auburn, waist-length hair, styled in a really fancy way, and she wore a white blouse, white leggings, lilac skirt, and black flats.

"This is-" Chris began, before the woman would clear her throat in a menacing way. Chris gulped. "God, I hope I don't screw this up. Abigail Phillippa Prior-Chauncey the Fourth."

"Thank you," the woman replied stiffly. "I trust that you will agree to my terms."

"I suppose I don't have any choice, do I?" Chris asked himself dryly.

"Now, behave, Abigail," the woman said.

"Of course, mother," the girl replied.

Abigail would soon step off the yacht with her luggage. "I don't want to hear about any funny business. You are here to win," the stern woman continued.

"I know that, mother," Abigail let out again, before joining her fellow contestants.

Then, the yacht would leave.

Abigail sighed again. "Hi guys," she said.

"Yeesh, she's as bad as Courtney!" Chris groaned to himself. Fernando lowered his sunglasses a bit to get a good look at the young woman while Walter politely raised his hand to Abigail.

"Good afternoon." He said, his voice deep and powerful.

"Hello there," Abigail smiled. "You all don't have to use my full name. Only Chris and Chef Hatchet have to refer to me by my full name." She sighed again. "Hopefully, we can get along."

"Oh, thank heavens," Rebekah groaned. "I would literally kill myself if I had to use that mouthful of a name."

"Well I think it's a lovely name for a lovely lady!" Fernando commented. Abigail was about to respond when the next contestant was coming through.

The next boy was about the same height as Fernando, but this boy was more muscular. He had short, black hair that was ruffled and a bit unkempt. His round, deep green eyes had a certain ferocity to them which was only compounded by the numerous scars lining his hands. He wore a forest green American football jersey with the number 76 and his last name, 'Weston', on it. Along with his jersey, the young man wore navy blue jeans and green sneakers.

Abigail would blush a little at the comment, before focusing on the next contestant.

The boy that stepped onto the dock looked at the contestants that had arrived before smirking.

"This it?" He asked, eyes locking onto Walter. "Looks like only this guy'll be an actual threat!"

The soldier raised an eye as the green wearing boy approached him, ignoring some of the glares the other teens were giving him.

"I appreciate you stirring up drama so early, Butch, but let's wait until everyone gets here first." Chris said, separating the two. Butch laughed a bit before going to his own little section of the dock.

The next contestant would soon arrive, and she had a menacing look on her face. She had a peach skin tone, along with a slender and attractive body, as if she were a dancer. However, there were some slight muscles. She had teal eyes that glared into the soul of a person, and long, black hair tied into a waterfall braid. She wore a black blouse, with fishnet leggings, a black skirt, and black high-heeled boots with laces that go up her legs. Next to the girl was a stern looking Dobermann. It was black and tan in color and had a hardened look on its muzzle.

"Whoa!" Chris let out in shock. He cleared his throat. "Everyone, meet Brittany Drake, and…" he trailed off, not knowing the name of the dog.

"Avalanche," she replied coolly.

"Okay then. Go and join the others," Chris said.

Brittany would make her way over with the dog. It would growl at Butch, who looked back at the dog with an unimpressed look.

The next yacht soon arrived, its occupant being another man who looked as serious as Avalanche did. The boy himself had shoulder length dark brown hair and almond shaped, light brown eyes. His skin was naturally tan and tribal tattoos akin to those of Pacific Islanders lined his arms and chest, though most were hidden under his gray t-shirt that had the words "The One" written in solid black letters on it. Alongside his shirt, he wore black jeans with a gold belt and black sneakers with black accents and laces. On his left wrist was a rather old looking silver watch that looked like it had seen better days but still worked like new.

What struck some of the contestants was this boy's size. He was about the same size as Walter with just as much muscle. Butch smirked to himself and silently cracked his knuckles at the sight of him. Once this beast of a young man set foot on the dock, it was as if the very air itself tightened with his presence.

"Joseph! Glad to have you!" Chris greeted, forcing himself to smile just a little bit. Joseph looked at the various expressions of the rest of the teens with an unreadable expression on his face. Upon seeing Brittany's dog though, he actually smiled at the hound.

Avalanche turned to the newcomer, growling.

"Avalanche! Heel!" Brittany's sharp voice would command, and the dog would stop growling.

"I see he's well-trained." The Samoan man commented.

"Avalanche is actually female. I call her Ava for short," Brittany responded.

"I see, well my mistake. I like dogs, I have a couple myself so I know how some of them can be protective of their owners."

"I have a couple more myself other than Avalanche. There's Harley, who is Ava's mother, Khaos, a male, and Karma, another female," Brittany replied. Joseph gave the girl a genuine smile as he listened intently, bothering Chris who clapped to get everyone's attention back on him.

"OK, enough about the flea-bags, let's get to the next contestant!"

The next contestant would actually come from a jet. Her luggage would be brought down by parachute. A girl would jump off from the jet, and make her way to the island. Upon nearing the island, she pulled a string on a backpack, and a light blue parachute would come out from the bag. She had a fair skin tone, and icy blue eyes, with black hair tied into a very tight bun. She was currently wearing a light blue catsuit, with a silver belt that said HAP on it. But when she landed onto the beach, the girl took out a high-tech smartphone, and pressed a button, changing out of that into a white blouse, white tights, a skirt in the colors of the British flag, and beige Victorian boots.

"Fresh from saving the world, Ilyria Song everyone!" Chris exclaimed.

"Good day everyone," Ilyria said, with a crisp, clear British accent.

"Sweet jump." Butch praised. "You do that often?"

"An agent always has to be prepared," Ilyria smirked.

"Just as a good soldier always is." Walter nodded in agreement.

Ilyria gave a satisfied smile while Chris looked annoyed again.

"Hey, hey, hey! Remember who's the real star here!"

Before anyone could comment, the next contestant arrived without anyone even noticing. Towering over Chris was a boy with Shaggy brown hair that had a streak that was dyed purple. His eyes were a clear blue color and he had a mole on his left cheek. He wore a black shirt with a dark purple arrow on it, black jeans and white sneakers. Just like the taller boys, he also had a fair bit of muscle.

"Gah! Dante, when did you get here?!" Chris yelped.

"You… didn't hear me? I said hi but nobody said anything."

"Did you?... Well whatever, just go stand with the others for now."

The next contestant would actually be a male. He had an olive skin tone, with a muscular torso, defined muscles, chiselled abs, strong arms and strong legs. His eyes were dark blue, and he had shoulder-length, straight black hair that is currently dip-dyed halfway with shades of steel blue. He wore a blue bomber jacket over a white shirt, ripped black jeans, and black boots. He also wore a fanny pack around his waist, which carried his Epi-Pen.

"Everyone, meet…" Chris trailed off a little. "Uh…Spikke?"

The man nodded, smiling. "Hello," he said, with a clear, Greek accent. He would join the others without saying much else. For a moment everything was silent until…

"YEEHAW!"

A girl with what looked to have her hair dyed in a rainbow tied into pigtailed jumped off of the approaching yacht and face planted right onto the dock. She wore a yellow blouse and brown pants with suspenders despite looking like she didn't really need them. She also had on brown hiking boots with bright purple socks sticking out. From the few seconds they were visible, the teens could see that her eyes were hazel.

Everyone looked at the girl in a stunned silence before Butch started laughing hysterically, Chris joining him after a second.

"Ahahaha, ah man that was good! Everyone, this is Terra!"

"Not funny," Rebekah glared at the others laughing, going to help the girl up. Before she could get in close though, Terra quickly turned around and sat cross-legged on the dock, a big smile on her face as she looked at everyone, a few scratches on her face that she seemed to completely ignore.

"Hiya!" She greeted. "Do you like cheese! I like cheese! Must be why I'm so cheesy!"

"I'm sorry, what?" Butch continued laughing. "This girl just completely ate sh*t and is just gonna say that like nothing happened?!"

"Well, let's move on to our next contestant!" Chris let out, trying to stop himself from laughing.

A handsome male would soon arrive, and he had a dazzling smile, along with dazzling, ocean blue eyes. His skin tone was tanned, and his body was very fit and athletic, with a visible six-pack. He had brown shoulder-length hair tied into a small ponytail, and he wore a light blue dress shirt that is unbuttoned to show off his abs, black ripped jeans, and black dress shoes.

"Our movie star from Spain, Miguel Alejandro Muñoz!" Chris exclaimed.

"Hola," he let out, with a sexy, smooth Spanish accent.

Abigail would sigh dreamily seeing the actor. "Oh my god! My favorite movie star is on the show!"

Brittany rolled her eyes in annoyance, as Rebekah huffed seeing the actor.

Lucille was in awe seeing the male actor as well, and Ilyria just looked at him. She wasn't interested in someone famous like him.

"Hola señor, qué pasta!" Terra greeted cheerfully.

Miguel would help Terra up, and kiss her hand, like a gentleman. "It is a pleasure to meet you."

Miguel's eyes went wide in shock for just a moment when Terra's hand seemed to come off completely! The clown laughed before revealing her real hand from her sleeve, allowing the movie star to look at the fake prosthetic he was currently holding.

"What on earth?" Miguel let out, giving the fake hand back to the girl. "I thought…that was your real hand…"

"Y-You thought I would give you my real hand so soon?! But Senpai, we just met! B-Baka!"

Miguel would quickly join the others, a little creeped out. He hoped that the clown wouldn't be on his team. Walter and Joseph both gave the girl unamused glances while Fernando shared a confused look with the movie star.

The next contestant soon arrived with everyone hoping the girl they could see on the approaching yacht was more sane than Terra. Interestingly though, it took a while before anyone could actually see the girl as she was probably the shortest among the entire cast so far. Her hair was dark brown and messy as it sprawled down to her shoulders. Despite the mess, her hair seemed to almost accentuate her green, almond shaped eyes. She wore a lavender long sleeved shirt, gray jeans and lavender sneakers. She also appeared to have a necklace that had traces of real gems embedded into it.

Once she stepped onto the dock, some of the teens couldn't help but raise their eyebrows in confusion or tried to remain silent at the sight of the girl. Being who he was though, Butch was the first to say something.

"Who invited the homeless kid?"

"She's not homeless, Butch." Chris chuckled. "This is Linnea."

"OK, first off, screw you." The tiny girl hissed as she looked at Butch right in his eyes with an unwavering ferocity that actually looked to impress the boy. The sound of her voice reassured everyone that this girl was a teenager. "Second, just call me Lin."

"Lin, go and join the others!" Chris announced, as the next contestant would arrive. It would be a man, who was 6'4, and 105 lbs. He was muscular, and athletic, wearing an amber colored, V-neck, t-shirt, white shorts with a yellow stripe on each side, and yellow and white running sneakers. His hair was black, and tied into a long ponytail. His eyes were a brilliant dark green. He too, had a fanny pack around his waist, which carried his Epi-Pen.

"Demetrius! Welcome!"

"Thank you," the man smiled kindly. "I'm glad to be here." He would join the others, as Ilyria's eyes widened.

"Sh*t. That's the guy my boss warned me about." the agent thought silently.

As Demetrius approached the others, the next contestant was arriving. It was a girl with dyed purple hair that was extremely long, going all the way down to her upper thighs, tied into a ponytail. She wore a red t-shirt with purple flowers on it that were surrounded by a black outline, blue jeans that accentuated her curves and red sneakers. Her round eyes were a light brown and filled with wonder as she took in the sight of the resort. Even from the dock, some of the teens could tell straight away that she was a dancer.

"Woah…" The girl said, as she slowly stepped onto the dock, still gazing at the resort. She took a good three steps forward before tripping and face planting right onto the dock. Once again, Butch broke out into a laughing fit.

"Bahahaha! That's two, can we shoot for three?!"

"Nice wipeout, Shauna. Good to see you're excited for the season."

With an embarrassed blush, Shauna stood with the others and tried to avoid eye contact after what just happened.

"Not funny," Rebekah glared at Butch.

The next male would arrive on the docks. He was of Italian descent, and was 6 '0, and weighing 120 lbs. He had a visible six-pack, and he had green eyes along with shoulder-length brown hair tied back into a small ponytail. Along with his luggage, he would carry a soccer ball with him. He wore a white t-shirt with Italy written on it in the colours of the Italian flag, black shorts and white running shoes.

Miguel would perk up seeing the man.

"From Italy, meet Antonio, the soccer superstar!" Chris announced.

"I'm no superstar yet," Antonio blushed a bit, his Italian accent clear to hear.

"Yo, Tony! What's up?" Miguel asked.

"Hey, Miguel," Antonio smiled.

"Hold on, you two know one another?" Lucille was wide-eyed.

Miguel would nod. "Yup. Tony here is dating my co-star and best friend, Christina Star."

"You mean the famous teen actress?!" Abigail let out.

"Yep, that's right," Antonio nodded.

"Are half the people here famous?" Shauna asked.

"Technically, I'm not famous yet, but I want to be like one of those famous rappers," Spikke spoke up. "But my annoying parents kicked me out because of it. They wanted me to become a stuffy, boring lawyer. I didn't want that."

"Well I can think of worse ways to get kicked out of the house…" Lin commented.

"Thankfully, I have the support of my siblings. They send me money every month, and I rap on the streets of Las Vegas," Spikke said. "They even helped me change my name from my birth name."

"Faaaascinating." Chris said with fake enthusiasm. "Anyway, moving right along, here's someone Spikke might have actually heard of during his time in Vegas. Ladies and gentlemen, presenting the Queen of the Night herself, Ms. Jerusha Saturday!"

In a puff of smoke, a young woman with elbow length black hair and almond shaped blue eyes appeared on the dock. She wore a white blouse under a black vest that had a raven logo on it, a black knee-length skirt with fishnet leggings and black dress shoes.

"I've heard of your father," Spikke commented.

"Ahahaha, everyone has, darling! But I am an entirely different artist. Through sleight of hand and a pinch of horror, I aim to be the top performer of Vegas someday!"

"Horror?" Dante asked.

"Why yes! Every performer needs that special something that makes them unique! For me, it's the mystery of the night, the darkness of the unknowable, the-"

"Alright, save the spiel for people who care." Chris groaned, gently pushing the magician over to the others. "NEXT!"

Another magician would appear in a puff of smoke on the docks. But it was a male. He had a peach skin tone, and black shoulder-length hair. The bottom of his hair had permanent red-blonde highlights, and it was sideswept, to show off his bangs. He wore a blue and white striped t-shirt, with jeans, white socks, and white running shoes.

"Christopher Greenwood, everyone!" Chris announced. "Who's the older brother of pop star sensation, Countess Contessa!"

"Thanks for having me on the show," Christopher smiled.

"Hold on one second!" Jerusha proclaimed. "I've seen you with your sister before. You… You're a magician as well aren't you? Sometimes a performer can tell when they're in the presence of another!"

Christopher laughed. "Yup. I'm more known for a special trick that involves magic and reading," he replied. "And also revealing the card someone picks on my shirt, with their picture on it. Long story. I did it for one of my cousins."

"I see." The female magician nodded, snapping her fingers and revealing a skull from seemingly nowhere. "It's always splendid to perform for an audience. Especially one that is as close as family!"

"Perhaps we might team up to do a magic trick one day?" Christopher would somehow make a bouquet of roses appear, holding them out for Jerusha, who took them with a smile.

"Perhaps we shall."

"Alright people." Chris announced. "This should be the last contestant arriving, so look alive because I'll be explaining the rules once they get here!"

"Hellloooo~!" A cheerful female voice called out. The Cast all turned to see a young woman quickly approaching the island. She had short light brown hair, gold earrings and bright green eyes hidden by her designer pink sunglasses. She wore a black tube top and a long pink skirt that reached all the way down to her ankles. She also appeared to be one of the few contestants to be wearing sandals rather than sneakers or designer shoes.

As the girl stepped onto the dock, she brought an assortment of different suitcases and even a drink cooler with her.

"Uh, Patricia, I can get the luggage, but what's with the cooler?" Chris asked.

"Well I just had to bring all of my summer outfits if I'm going to be staying at a resort in Hawaii, but I know that you probably don't have the Peruvian spring water that I love. It's, like, the only thing I drink, so I brought some from home! Also, you don't need to say my full name, just call me 'Trish'!"

"Wow," Ilyria let out. "That's…intense."

"Intense? Oh no, I just like living the good life! Trust me, once you get to know me you'll be wanting to live the same way, promise!" Trish explained with a sweet smile as she handed Ilyria a bottle of water. "Here, try some and you'll see why I like it so much!"

"I'll pass. I prefer natural spring water," Ilyria replied.

"And I usually drink sparkling, flavoured water from Greece. It's actually pretty good," Spikke said.

"Oh well, more for me then! Hehe!" Trish giggled.

"Actually, I'm with Trish here." Chris added. "That spring water is supposed to be, like, super high quality and- UGH! Don't distract me! Come on, let me show you around the resort so we can get started!"

The resort would be huge! There was a beach, with crystal, clear, blue water, and there were actually a few sea turtles that were relaxing on the beach. The teens would go into the resort, where a member of staff would be there.

"Welcome, everyone. Here, you'll all be given the five-star treatment. When you are eliminated from the competition, instead of leaving the island, you'll be taken to a different room away from the contestants, and you'll all remain on the island until the finale."

"I'm guessing those who are eliminated are not allowed to interfere in challenges or any other part of the competition?" Walter asked.

"That is indeed correct. Now, you'll also have five-star meals. However, if you have allergies, please let us know as soon as possible, so our chef can prepare your meals to your exact preference. You might actually know her quite well."

"Who is she?" Ilyria raised an eyebrow.

Chris would sigh. "Chef actually had to cut a deal to get his niece to do the show, as she's pretty particular, and hated the scrap and rotten foods he cooked previously. He'll still be around helping me with challenges and all that."

"So he won't be cooking?" Lin asked. "At all?"

"Only if his niece falls sick. But she's made sure to teach him her ways of cooking," Chris replied.

"I can cook just fine and you know it!" Chef called out from within a nearby room.

"Uncle Hatchet, you do realize that your food handler's certificate expired years ago?!" a tense voice demanded. She looked just like Chef with the dark skin, though she had black hair tied into a tight ponytail, and hazel eyes. She was dressed in a typical chef's jacket with gold on it, and black pants, along with black high heels. A nametag was on her person, which read: 'Alexis Greene'.

"I don't need no hippie-dippie 'handler's certificate' to cook food, just to make a livin' as one! But you're lucky I love ya' missie! Make me proud!"

"You know I don't poison people, or get them sick," Alexis winked at her uncle. "I work at a five star restaurant!"

"Intentionally, sweetie. You don't get people sick intentionally! But with Chris, you'll have the chance to let that Hatchet blood in ya' shine through!"

"I think I like that girl," Miguel smirked.

"I don't know if I should be relieved or terrified that Chef isn't cooking." Shauna gulped.

"I'm both." Dante added.

"I'm scaroused!" Terra chimed in, getting a few uncomfortable looks.

Alexis would wave the group inside, where they would see a five-star meal already waiting for them. "Go ahead, and try this dish, my famous Moroccan Apricot Chicken!"

The group would sit down to try it.

"Whoa! This is actually pretty good!" Christopher let out as he took a bite.

"Like, of course it is! I've actually been to a ton of five-star restaurants and the food is always good!" Trish replied, happily taking another bite.

Alexis would even serve some to Chris and her uncle.

"Mmm, excellent quality as usual, Alexis!" Chris smiled, happily stuffing his face. "While we enjoy the food I should at least let you know about this season's confessional cam. It's the only place where you all have the opportunity to share your own personal thoughts about the challenges, other contestants, or the game as a whole. You can find it in a room that's in the lobby! It'll have a big sign on it, saying 'CONFESSIONAL'. Alternatively, there's also a special hut out on the beach with the same kind of sign on it just in case the lobby confessional is busy, or maybe you just like the beach more."

"Now what about the teams?" Ilyria raised her hand.

"Excellent question, Miss Song. Mr. McLean has given me this bag. Inside are 20 stones. 18 of them are normal stones. Two of them are different colors. One is teal, and the other is pink. If you happen to get one of those stones, then you'll be the captain of your team. As captain, you'll basically be immune from all elimination ceremonies up until the merge and be able to pick who will be on your team." Alexis would reply, as she pulled out a bag, filled with rocks.

"Fancy," Demetrius smiled.

"One by one, come up and grab a stone from my bag. Don't reveal it until Chris tells you too," Alexis said.

Lucille would be first, wheeling herself over to Alexis, while reaching into the bag to pull out a stone. She kept her hand closed as she would wheel herself away so that the next person could pick a stone.

Joseph took a stone next with Lin and Butch getting one each right after him.

Miguel, Antonio, Christopher, and Rebekah would follow right after them.

Terra was about to grab a stone next but was stopped by Chris.

"No rock puns!" He said sternly. The rainbow-haired girl gave the host puppy-dog eyes before grabbing a stone and walking away.

Ilyria, Demetrius, and Brittany each grabbed a stone from the bag.

Trish, Walter, and Dante all took a rock next. As Jerusha went up to the bag of stones, she stopped and didn't reach for one. Instead. She turned to Chris and Alexis and revealed that she had somehow grabbed one without anyone even noticing, though she avoided looking at it and made sure none of the other contestants could see it.

Abigail and Spikke grabbed a stone from the bag. Fernando and Shauna were the last to grab their stones, the latter tripping again but managing to stop herself from falling completely. With another blush of embarrassment beginning to creep onto her face, the dancer hurried back to her seat.

"Alright, on the count of three, reveal your stones! One, two, three!" Chris shouted.

Rebekah opened up her hand, to reveal a teal color stone. She breathed a sigh of relief, thankful that it wasn't the pink stone.

One by one, each contestant revealed their stones, some more disappointed than others to see that they had a regular brown rock. It wasn't until Joseph revealed that he had the pink stone that Chris brought everyone's attention back to him.

"Looks like Rebekah and Joseph will be our captains! You two, stand up, and we'll do a coin flip to see who gets the first pick. So, call it you two. Heads or Tails?" Chris said.

"I pick Tails." Rebekah said simply.

Chris brought out a half dollar and flipped it, everyone watched in anticipation as the coin spun in the air multiple times before landing on the floor tails side up.

"And Rebekah gets the first pick! So who will it be?"

Rebekah glanced at the group. "Dante," she said.

"W-wait? Me?" The young adult asked in shock and confusion as he walked over to Rebekah. "First pick, wow!"

Rebekah smirked, glancing over at Joseph. "Your turn."

The Samoan nodded and gave his new rival a respectful smile before giving the rest of the contestants a stern look. He silently looked over at everyone until…

"I pick Brittany." He said.

"A wise choice." Brittany smirked, walking over to Joseph, Avalanche trailing beside her owner.

"I'll pick Shauna next," Rebekah said. The dancer gasped and squealed a bit before hurrying over to her new captain, falling on her face again as she reached her.

Rebekah would help her new teammate up, sighing to herself quietly as Shauna quickly thanked her.

"You wanted people to say your whole name, right? Abigail Phillippa Prior-Chauncey the Fourth?"

"Only the hosts do," Abigail smiled, approaching Joseph. "My mother doesn't care if the contestants give me a nickname."

"Good to know," Ilyria said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.

Rebekah would glance at the others, thinking for a moment. "Trish," she said.

"Yes! We're gonna be, like, the most glamorous team ever!" The post girl cheered.

"Spikke, you're with me." Joseph called out.

Spikke grinned, going over to Joseph's team.

"Walter," Rebekah stated. The soldier nodded as he went over to his new team and reached a hand out for his new captain to shake.

"A very smart move, let's do our best to win!"

"At ease," Rebekah took his hand. "I'm a police chief's daughter," she smirked.

After taking a moment to look at everyone that remained, Joseph nodded to himself and made his next choice.

"Christopher."

The magician grinned, going over to his new team.

Rebekah would look over at the others. "Butch," she said.

"Finally! Took one of you long enough!" The brute said, rolling his eyes and heading over to his team.

"Hmm…" Joseph hummed. "Miguel, you're with us."

The movie star would go over to his new team, smiling.

"Lin," Rebekah said. The Street girl silently went over to the rest of her team, unintentionally standing next to Walter and looking up at him. A few of the others, including Chris, couldn't help but hold back a laugh at the sheer difference in height.

"Jerusha." Joseph said. The horror fanatic tossed a small smoke bomb on the floor and instantly appeared at the side of her new captain.

"Ilyria," Rebekah said, as the agent would go over to her team.

"I pick Fernando." The male model flashed a smile while silently seething at the fact that he was picked so late.

Abigail felt her heart flutter a little when she saw Fernando would be on the same team with her. Rebekah glanced over at the remaining contestants. "Demetrius," she said.

"Wise choice," Demetrius nodded, hiding a wicked smile as he approached his new team.

Antonio and Lucille waited to see who would pick them while Terra played with her pigtails patiently. Joseph looked between the two mentally stable teens and sighed to himself.

*Confessional*

Joseph: "OK, so no matter who I pick, I'll probably end up with the clown girl… Here's hoping she actually puts in some sort of work…"

*End confessional*

"I'll pick Antonio."

Antonio would go to his new team, while Rebekah sighed to herself. "Fine, Terra, you're on my team."

"Wait what?" The clown asked, genuinely surprised. She looked over at Lucille, who looked just as surprised before casually walking over to her team.

Lucille seemed disappointed to be the last pick. It figured, since she was handicapped. Once she made her way to her new team, Joseph looked at her for a moment before looking away, clearly embarrassed.

"I figured I'd be the last pick. I usually am," Lucille sighed gently.

"It's not that I don't think you'll be a good teammate." He tried to reassure her. "It's just that-"

"I can handle myself well, thank you very much," Lucille said cooly. "Despite being in a wheelchair."

*Confessionals*

Joseph: "Well now I feel like an ass… I thought Rebekah would pick her. I'm sure Lucille can handle herself just like she says, she's probably a lot smarter than we might expect."

*Static*

Jerusha: "That was certainly a bad first impression, perhaps I can cheer Lucille up with a show just for her! If she wants one, of course!"

*Static*

Abigail: "Goodness, Lucille seems to be upset with Joseph. But who knows? I just hope that she'll be good on our team."

*Static*

Terra: "Rebekah actually picked me… Over someone who doesn't play around like I do. I… I don't know what to say."

*Static*

Brittany: "My new team seems interesting enough. Here's hoping that we can win some challenges."

*Static*

Dante: "I was the first pick! That's so cool! That's never happened to me before! Ah man now I gotta give this game one-hundred and…" Dante's irises suddenly began to change to a diamond shape rather than natural round ones.

?: "Finally, some space to myself! Alright little Dante, let's see how your new 'friends' like dealing with me!"

*Static*

Demetrius: "My team seems cool, but I have to keep an eye on that Agent Song. She might ruin my plans. But for now, let's play."

*Static*

Antonio: "Wow, tension seems high between Joseph and Lucille. I'm glad that Christina and I don't fight as much."

*Static*

Miguel: "Thank goodness the clown is not on my team…"

*Static*

Butch: "Hah, not even a day and the other team's already falling apart! The fact that my team has that older guy and myself means that we can pretty much carry the team in terms of muscle. We could probably carry them all literally too!"

*End Confessionals*

"Just so you know, there will be no elimination for today," Alexis let out. "The first official challenge will begin tomorrow."

"Hey, who's the host of this show?!" Chris whined.

Alexis giggled, holding out two flags, tossing them to Chris. One was teal, and the other was pink.

"Anyway, now that everyone's been picked, I can officially say that the game is on. Rebekah, your team will be known as…" Chris began, handing the young lady the teal flag. "...The Pretty Peacocks."

"I can live with that. I like peacocks," Rebekah said.

"I can't!" Butch groaned. "What guy wants to be called 'pretty'? I'm handsome!"

"You're an idiot…" Lin hissed.

"Besides, it's the males who have the beautiful feathers," Rebekah stated.

"Don't feel bad!" Terra added. "We can make you pretty!"

"As for Joseph's team…" Chris continued, handing the Samoan his team flag. "From now on, you'll be known as the Fantastic Flamingoes!"

"Awesome!" Abigail smiled.

"Eh, that's fine," Brittany nodded.

"Now how about our sleeping arrangements?" Miguel raised his hand.

"Your rooms are on the upper floors, one floor will be for the Flamingoes and the other for the Peacocks with one side of the floor for the ladies and the other for the guys. Each of you will share a room for two so you'll be paired up with a roommate. The other floors will be used for challenges later down the road. There's more to them, but I'll explain that later on."

"Can we pick roommates, or are we assigned a roommate?" Lucille asked.

"You guys can pick when you go to your rooms," Alexis stated.

"That's right! For now though, I'll need you all to follow me, there's one last thing I want to show you all before you head to your rooms."

The group would follow Chris to the elevators, which took everyone all the way up to the roof. When the doors opened, they would all see a penthouse suite below them via a skylight.

"Don't worry about the penthouse for now, that won't be important for a while. What I wanted to show you all was the view!"

Chris spread his arms outward towards the sprawling island around the resort. The rooftop had a somewhat clear view of the entire island, with only a small forest of palm trees covering part of the island.

"This whole island will be used for challenges throughout this season. Even though you're allowed to enjoy some of the luxuries of the resort during your time here, you're encouraged to go out and explore this island, it is a tropical island in Hawaii after all! Who knows, you might find something interesting!"

"What do you mean by that?" Joseph asked.

"I'll answer that tomorrow, before the challenge begins. That's all I wanted to show you, as of now the introduction to the resort is over, you're free to pick your roommates and relax for the day."

"Wait, what's the prize for being the last one standing?" Rebekah asked.

"You really don't know?" Chris asked. "Have you ever seen this show before?! If you manage to outlast the rest of the competition and be the last contestant standing, you'll win the grand prize of ONE. MILLION. DOLLARS!"

Rebekah nodded simply. The contestants would soon pile back into the elevators, the two floors each team would be staying on having a colored sticker to mark them. As they began their descent, Chris turned to the cameras.

"We've met our cast, and what an assortment of colorful people they are! How will they all survive this season? How will they all survive each other? What will our first challenge be?" Chris asked the camera. "Which team will win the first challenge? Which team will lose and head to elimination? Find out, next time, on Total…Drama…HAWAIIAN RESORT!"

LaViolaViolaRosa: What a way for me to return to the Total Drama fandom! I was thinking about it, but when I found out the show would be rebooted with a new cast, I decided that the best way for me to come back to the fandom was to do a collaboration with another author! Allureon has done a couple of stories for the fandom, and I even participated in a few of his SYOCs with some of my characters.

Allureon: And by "a couple of stories" that means about half of the total stories I've published… I don't have a problem I swear!

I'm kidding! But both of us were inspired to come back after the 2023 season and when I was asked to collaborate, I was more than happy to! Here's hoping it's enjoyable for everyone to read and we hope you'll eagerly await the next chapter!

LaViolaViolaRosa: Let us know your thoughts on each member of the cast! Who do you like the most? Who do you like the least? We'd love to hear your opinions! Until then, see you in the next chapter! Don't forget to review!
