Percy POV
I was walking with my daughter Zoe to the edge of our boat. When I got there, I saw a woman standing with a child.
"Hello. Who are you?" I ask.
"Someone who has been waiting for their boat trip." She said.
Now, I built the boat and bought the books that are on board, so I thought she was talking about the tours of our boat we've been doing.
"Sorry, ma'am. The tours are done and my daughter and I are just going to get ice cream." I told her.
Then the most idiotic thing happened. She said, "What tours? We need our family boat trip. Yours is over." I frowned.
"Ma'am, I own this boat." I said.
She seemed upset by this, and started to climb the ladder that went up to the deck.
"Ma'am, get down or I will have to force you to." I said.
"You don't own this boat! You must've stolen it!" She yelled. She got to the top and pulled the ladder out of my reach before I could stop her. She then ran to the room where I control the boat from.
"What?" I muttered confused my, pulling out my phone.
Ten minutes later, the cops arrive.
"Hello, sir. Are you mister Jackson?" The first officer asked.
"Yes." I respond.
"Are these your children?" The second officer asks, festering to the Karen's kid and Zoe.
"The blonde one is. The brunette is the daughter of the person who climbed onto my boat and pulled the ladder up." I responded.
They walked to where the ladder usually hangs. The first officer looked up and yelled, "Ma'am, you need to come down now." He yelled.
"That thief won't get up here with me protecting the boat." She yelled.
He turned to me. "Do you have proof of purchase, sir?" He asked.
"No, because I made this boat myself." I responded.
"Ok. Is there any proof?" He asked.
"I left an imprint of my finger and my wife's finger in the wood. Over here." I guided them to the side of the boat. Under the boat's name was a pair of fingerprints.
After about two hours, they found that my fingerprint matched one of the ones on the boat.
"Ma'am, come down." He said. When she arrived, the officer asked her what she was going to do.
"If I had the keys, I would've sailed away. Then called the coastguard."
"So, trespassing and attempted theft. Does that sound right, Mr. Jackson?" He asked.
"Yes. And can I press charges?" I responded.
"Yes, sir." He said.
Two hours later
When Annabeth arrived, I told her about the woman.
"So, a woman tried stealing our boat because you wouldn't let her have a trip? Even though you built and own the boat?" She asked.
"That sums it up." I said.
"Well, Charlie had fun at the park. And he asked for blue ice cream." She said.
I chuckled at that.
"I'm going to bed. Goodnight." I said.
Sorry, guys. I've had a bit of trouble coming up with original ideas for fanfics. I recently came up with the idea to do something like this. Now, there will be more chapters soon. I have an idea for chapter two already, bye.
