Devil Honest Truth

Vaggie woke up feeling more content then she ever was when she was alive. Not surprising when the closest thing that Hell has to an angel is sleeping right next to you. Fully naked too. It was a reality almost too perfect to be true. Every moment she felt like she would wake up and realize that it was an unobtainable dream.

But it was funny, cause she's had nice dreams before, and none were as beautiful as Charlie. So by that logic it had to be real, Charlie was here, beside her and Vaggie had just woken up after another night of lovemaking with the Princess of Hell.

"Like what you see?" Charlie asked without opening her eyes. Of course she could feel her looking, she had a very sharp sixth sense despite how she might look at first glance. "Is it morning already?" The Princess sat up, sheet falling and revealing every mark on her pale body. And how could Vaggie do anything but stare. She was a simple woman at the end of the day.

With a pleased groan Charlie stretched her arms above her head and her wings too, two pretty white, soft wings. One of which ended up smacking Vaggie right in the face.

"Ups! Sorry about them!" Immediately she collapsed and did away with her wings, her apple cheeks blushing a bright red. "It's been a while since I shared a bed with someone in the morning. Guess I'm still getting used to you… staying here." Before Vaggie would stay for the night but always left as soon as the sun was up.

Her staying was a recent development when her and Charlie's relationship began getting deeper then just nightly fucking. That was still fun but Charlie was a cuddler, a really big one and when she held Vaggie close and hummed her songs there was no strength in the sinner to leave. Not only did that began to get more frequent but so were their dates. At least Charlie gave her the impression they were dates, it was never stated but from the way the Princess looked at her, held her by the hip, took her to places so pretty it was hard to believe she was in Hell and always handled her with so much care it couldn't be just fun in the sheets anymore.

Right?

"Hell to Vaggie. Where'd you wonder off to?" Charlie leaned her head against Vaggie's shoulder and snuggled close. She always seemed genuinely interested in whatever Vaggie had to say, always holding onto her every word and asking questions.

"Nowhere. Where could I go when I have a hottie right next to me?" Such a simple thing could make Charlie stutter. She suddenly seemed to remember she's naked and pulled the sheets to her chest, "Oh, now you're hiding from me? You were really eager to get naked last night." Vaggie should stop. She should get dressed and leave but she can't with Charlie's skin already healing and begging for more kisses.

Charlie's little button nose twitched and her mouth feel open as she sensed what her lover needed. "I want you to meet my parents!" She exclaimed with Vaggie's hand not even an inch away from her breast.

"W-What?" Vaggie? Meet her parents? Charlie's parents? The King and Queen of Hell? "Charlie…"

"Come on! It's the perfect opportunity! You could have breakfast with us! I really want you to meet them. We've been… dating…" Charlie looked back at Vaggie to see if she would deny this, she didn't say anything yet, "...for a while now and I think they're gonna like you. You're amazing, and really brave and-"

"A Sinner. I'm a Sinner Charlie. And you're the Princess." There it was. The thing that Vaggie tried desperately not to think about. How far she and Charlie were in Hell's hierarchy. It wasn't that shameful for Royals to sleep with lower demons or Sinners, but it was always for pleasure, sex and lust. Dating? That came with a lot of eyes on them. On Charlie most of all.

Said Princess narrowed her eyes and pursed her lips together in a thin line, "I don't care about that Vaggie. You know I don't, I never did."

"Yeah, that's cause you're a practically a saint. But come on Charlie, you can't be naive and think people aren't gonna talk and use this against you somehow. That's why I…"

"Why you didn't want to go on dates with me for so long, I know. And I'm not naive, I know people stare at us, I don't care if they do. I love… being with you Vaggie, I'm happy with you, I want my parents to meet you and like you too." That was so easy for Charlie to say, she was such an honest soul, wanting to see the good in people. Vaggie couldn't do that so easily.

"Charlie… I… will that make you happy?" Charlie nodded with stars dancing in her eyes. After a long breath Vaggie put her hand over Charlie's, "Fine. But if they don't like me I'm gonna see you in secret." That's more or less what they've been doing this whole time.

"How romantic. Just like the novels I read." Charlie sighed and cupped her cheeks all dreamily.

"You know that a lot of those end in tragedy right?" This reminded Vaggie, for the next date she should get Charlie some new books, better ones with a happy ending like the Princess liked.

"I never read the tragic part twice, that way I can make up my ow where they lived happily ever after." Much like she hopped her and Vaggie would. Yes, Charlie was a huge romantic, she got that from both her parents.

Vaggie was a romantic too, at least with Charlie, which is why she kissed the back of her hand, but the reason why she then pinned her to the bed was an entirely different one, "If I'm gonna meet… my girlfriend's parents then I need a little more courage. And it just so happens to be," Her knee pressed between Charlie's legs, "right here."

After another hour had passed the two lovers finally made their way downstairs.

"You left too many hickies, how am I gonna cover these up?" Charlie complained as she set her bowtie in place, Vaggie following beside her. The moth demon looked pleased despite it all.

Good for her she was too cute to be mad at. Vaggie had been to Charlie's home before but she never took time to look around, always in a hurry to get to Charlie's bedroom or get out she was spotted. Now she took in all the decorations, the pictures, sculptures, art and posters on display. Sin of Pride indeed, she expected not less.

"And this is where we eat!" Upon opening the door, instead of breakfast on the table it was Lucifer bent over while Lilith looked to be in the middle of taking his shirt off, "Mom! Dad! What in the name of Go-"

"Ah, ah! None of that guy here Charlotte." Lucifer grinned and gave his wife a kiss on the cheek as she backed off, "We didn't think you'd be down here yet."

"Or that you would bring a friend." Lilith was tall, more then a head taller than Lucifer now that Vaggie saw them standing side by side, "Is that the lady you've been sighing and fawning over for the past few months?"

"Mom! This," She did indeed sigh as she looked over at her lover, "is Vaggie, we've been dating for a little bit." Charlie said this with her whole chest, not a hint of embarrassment, fear or any sense that she would regret making this public knowledge to anyone.

Lucifer snapped his fingers and summoned his cane, slowly walking over to the couple. He looked Vaggie, intimidating despite his short stature, his very presence demanded respect even though she just saw him fawning over his wife moments before. "You're the woman my little Charlie's been seeing?"

"Uh… y-yes, yes Sir… er… Highness… Majesty… uhm…" Now joined by Lilith it only added to the looming presence and tension that Vaggie felt just by standing there.

As if that wasn't bad enough Lilith tipped her head up by her chin and made eye contact. "A Sinner. Charlie." Was Charlie wrong? Would they actually say no to Vaggie? Yes after Seviathan they have been more strict when it came to who they wanted Charlie to date but it wasn't like Vaggie could do anything to her, or would. "If she has you singing and dancing and humming I don't think you've made the wrong choice. However," Lilith now turned to Vaggie, "I'm not sure if you're aware but my daughter's been though a lot in these past years. Normally there would be a vetting process for you but I see you've far progressed past the kissing and cuddling stage."

Charlie's blush returned tenfold when she felt the heat of her mother's gaze on her neck. Now she regrets this, it was a horrible idea because she will be teased for eternity for showing up to a family breakfast like this.

"I would never hurt Charlie, but I would protect her if someone tries."

Hollering laughter echoed through the room, it was Lucifer's. It sounded both haunting and melodious, fitting of an angel who was cast from Heaven. "I like this one. I'm sorry, I know you were serious, and it's sweet, but oh man… as a dad I appreciate that you're willing to stand up for my kid."

"I'm not a kid." Charlie mumbled under her breath, cheeks puffing out in an adorable pout. "And I think I lost my appetite. I want to show her around the house some more."

"Huh? Oh. Uhm… thank you for having me!" Vaggie shouted at Lucifer and Lilith who smiled and waved at the couple, making a remark about young love. "That went better then I thought. With the exception of me seeing your mom and dad about to fuck."

"Please don't mention that ever again. I want to burn it from my memory." The Princess came to a halt in the middle of the hallway and turned to face her lover, "But I'm glad they weren't against us dating. They were right, about the vetting process."

"Cause of your ex, I know. So why skip it with me?"

Charlie smiled, walked close and cupped Vaggie's face in her hands, "Cause I had a really good feeling about you and I wanted to see if I was right."

"And were you?" Vaggie's eye closed as Charlie leaned in, a smile splitting both their lips and right before they touched she heard a faint 'yes' whispered against her mouth.
