Now, let us begin this chapter...

On the outskirts of Askr Castle, Alfonse, Sharena, and Commander Anna accompanied Veronica, the Emblian Princess, to the Elyos Outrealm Gate. As they reached their destination, Veronica voiced her thoughts, her words carrying a touch of curiosity.

"So, this is the Outrealm Gate that has been the talk of both the Kingdom of Askr and the Emblian Empire," Veronica mused, her eyes scanning the grand structure before her.

Alfonse, ever the observant one, responded to Veronica's ponderings. "Yes, the Elyos Outrealm Gate appeared shortly after Kiran Pathfinder disappeared from the Kingdom of Askr," he said, his voice tinged with a mix of uncertainty and intrigue.

Sharena nodded in agreement, her gaze fixed on the gate. "It's been a topic of discussion among the Order of Heroes ever since," she added, her voice filled with a sense of wonder.

As Princess Veronica approached the Elyos Outrealm Gate, Sharena's curiosity got the better of her. "Princess Veronica, may I ask what you're doing?" she inquired, her voice filled with genuine interest.

Veronica, her demeanor stoic and composed, turned to face Sharena. "I am examining the magical energies within the Elyos Outrealm Gate," she replied, her voice steady and measured.

With purposeful intent, Veronica positioned her right hand on the stone slabs that formed the Outrealm Gate. Closing her eyes, she allowed herself to immerse herself in the flow of magic that resonated within. The world around her faded as she delved deeper into the pulsating energies, seeking understanding and insight.

Alfonse turned to Veronica, his voice laced with anticipation. "Princess Veronica, what did you discover about the Elyos Outrealm Gate?" he asked, his eyes fixed on her.

Veronica met Alfonse's gaze, her expression serious. "The Elyos Outrealm Gate is almost filled to the brim with magical energy, but there seems to be no way for it to escape," she explained, her tone filled with a sense of intrigue.

Commander Anna, always quick to analyze the situation, chimed in. "If the Elyos Outrealm Gate is already so magically charged, it might just need a catalyst to fully open," she suggested, her voice tinged with excitement.

Veronica nodded, her eyes gleaming with newfound knowledge. "Indeed, the catalyst required for the Elyos Outrealm Gate to fully open is the presence of two individuals who bear the divine blood of both Askr and Embla," she revealed, her words carrying a weight of significance.

Alfonse's eyes widened with realization. "So, the gate can only be unlocked by those who are of both Askr and Embla lineage," he mused, his voice filled with a mix of wonder and concern. "Those people are you... and me."

"Exactly, Prince Alfonse," Veronica replied. "But before we can attempt to do that..."

Veronica turned to Alfonse, Sharena, and Commander Anna, her voice filled with a mix of determination and hunger. "I must admit, I am famished," she confessed, her stomach rumbling audibly. "Could you please escort me to the Aether Resort's Dining Hall?"

Sharena, always ready for a good meal, eagerly chimed in. "Fair enough, Princess Veronica! I'm quite hungry myself," she admitted, a mischievous grin spreading across her face.

Commander Anna, who had been focused on the mission, released an exasperated sigh. "I suppose Princess Veronica has a point," she conceded, her tone laced with a hint of amusement. "It is nearly lunchtime, after all."

As the group made their way back to Askr Castle with the Aether Resort's Dining Hall as their destination, Veronica subtly moved closer to Alfonse, her voice lowered to ensure that only he could hear. "Alfonse, I want to thank you for inviting me here to investigate the Outrealm Gate," she expressed, gratitude evident in her tone.

Alfonse turned his attention to Veronica, a small smile playing on his lips. "Of course, Veronica. It's important for us to share information, especially now that Askr and Embla are allies," he replied, his voice filled with sincerity.

Veronica nodded in agreement, her eyes reflecting a newfound understanding.

Veronica's eyes widened with a mix of excitement and curiosity as she turned to Alfonse. "When I touched the Elyos Outrealm Gate, I felt a resonance with my Hero contract with Kiran Pathfinder," she revealed, her voice filled with wonder.

Alfonse's brows furrowed slightly as he recalled the events of the past. "I remember that not long after Lady Embla's defeat, you asked Kiran to summon you as a Hero," he responded, his voice tinged with a hint of nostalgia. "And Kiran did summon you, Veronica."

Veronica nodded, her expression thoughtful. "Yes, that's right," she affirmed, a glimmer of anticipation in her eyes. "If I felt that resonance, there's a chance that Kiran might summon not only me, but also you, Sharena, and Commander Anna in Elyos."

Alfonse's gaze met Veronica's, and his determination was evident. "If that's the case, we must be prepared for whatever lies ahead," he stated firmly, his voice resolute.

As they contemplated the potential summoning, the group couldn't help but wonder what adventures awaited them in the realm of Elyos. With their bonds of friendship and their shared desire to protect their worlds, they were ready to face any challenges that awaited them, united as Heroes beyond the realms.

Emblems And Heroes

A Fire Emblem Heroes x Fire Emblem Engage Crossover

Chapter 8: Big Damn Order of Heroes!

As the sun painted the skies above Florra Mill Town with a breathtaking display, Kiran Pathfinder found solace lying on the grass, his eyes fixed on the sun.

"We've made it this far, huh?" Kiran spoke, his voice carrying the weight of the recent battle.

In the depths of Kiran's mind, a voice emerged. It was Baldraz, a trusted advisor whose words resonated within Kiran's thoughts. "It may be wise for you, Alear herself, and our allies to prepare the proper strategy for retaking Firene Castle carefully," Baldraz said, his concern evident in his tone.

Kiran considered the suggestion, mulling over the idea of seeking respite in Somniel. He knew the value of strategy and advice after such a grueling fight.

"You might be right, Baldraz," Kiran replied, his voice tinged with exhaustion and gratitude. "I'll go ask Alear herself."

As Kiran made his way towards Alear, he watched as she turned around, her attention no longer focused on the merchants she had been conversing with.

"Alear," Kiran called out, his voice filled with a mix of anticipation and curiosity.

Alear met Kiran's gaze, a determined glint in her eyes. "Are you ready to join me and our allies in retaking Firene Castle?" she asked, her voice steady and resolute.

Kiran paused for a moment, considering Alear's question. "You're truly dedicated to the promise you made to Alfred, to help save the Kingdom of Firene," He said, admiration lacing their words.

Alear's expression softened, her commitment shining through. "I intend to fulfill that promise," she replied, her voice filled with unwavering determination.

The weight of their shared mission settled upon them, and Kiran felt a surge of conviction. "Count me in," He said, his voice steady and resolute. "Together, we'll reclaim Firene Castle and restore peace to the kingdom."

Alear nodded, a glimmer of gratitude in her eyes. "Thank you, Kiran," she said, her voice carrying both appreciation and a sense of camaraderie. "With you by my side, I know we can overcome any obstacle that stands in our way."

As Alear, Kiran, and their allies prepared for the arduous journey ahead, Kiran and Alear exchanged a determined glance, their shared purpose cementing their bond. Their destinies intertwined, they set forth, ready to face the challenges that awaited them and fulfill the promise they had made to save the Kingdom of Firene.

As the group ventured through the outskirts of Firene Castle, Alear's eyes widened in awe at the breathtaking sight before them. "Wow, Firene Castle is truly magnificent," she exclaimed, her voice filled with wonder.

Kiran, ever observant, scanned their surroundings and couldn't help but notice the eerie silence enveloping the area. "Something doesn't feel right," he voiced his concern, a hint of caution in his tone. "It's too quiet."

Celine, the Princess of Firene, stood beside Kiran, nodding in agreement, her expression growing serious. "Kiran's right. This silence is unsettling," she chimed in, her voice filled with a sense of foreboding.

Alfred, the Crown Prince of Firene, furrowed his brows as he contemplated the situation. "It's possible that the enemy forces have already infiltrated Firene Castle," he speculated, his voice laced with urgency.

Celine's voice trembled with worry as she voiced her concerns for the safety of Firene Castle's townsfolk and her mother, Queen Eve. "I can't help but worry about the townsfolk and Mother," she confessed, her voice filled with apprehension.

Alfred, always practical and quick to assess the situation, agreed with Celine's sentiments. "The longer we wait, the greater the danger for all of them, including Mother," he stated firmly, his voice tinged with urgency.

Kiran, understanding the gravity of the situation, spoke up with conviction. "We can't afford to waste any more time. We must make haste," he declared, his voice resolute.

Alear, standing beside Kiran, nodded in agreement, her determination shining through. "I agree with Kiran. We need to act swiftly," she affirmed, her voice filled with determination.

With a shared sense of urgency and determination, Alear, Kiran, and the Firene siblings, Alfred and Celine, set off on a desperate race towards Firene Castle.

In the corridors of Firene Castle, as she is surrounded by enemy forces, Queen Eve stood in a defiant silence as an arrogant soldier by the name of Nelucce tried to interrogate her.

Nelucce's eyes narrowed as he stared at Queen Eve, his voice dripping with arrogance. "I demand to know where your Emblem Ring is," he barked, his tone laced with impatience.

Queen Eve met his gaze with unwavering defiance, her voice laced with contempt. "You, a mere vermin, dare to speak to me in such a manner?" she spat, her disdain evident.

Nelucce's face contorted with anger as he retorted, "You are in no position to insult me, Queen Eve."

Before the tension between them could escalate further, the sound of approaching footsteps echoed through the corridor, catching their attention. Both Queen Eve and Nelucce turned their heads towards the source of the sound, uncertainty flashing across their faces.

Zephia approached Nelucce and Queen Eve with an air of authority, her presence commanding attention. She spoke, her voice carrying an ominous undertone. "Hold your hand, Nelucce. We shall not harm Queen Eve... yet," she stated, her words laced with a sense of intrigue.

Nelucce, taken aback by Zephia's words, stood tall but fell silent, his arrogance momentarily subdued in the presence of the powerful Mage Dragon. He listened intently, waiting for Zephia to continue.

Zephia's eyes flickered with calculation as she addressed Nelucce. "Queen Eve won't hold much value to us if we dispose of her now," she explained, her voice a mix of cunning and wisdom.

Turning her attention to Queen Eve, Zephia's gaze bore into her. "One of my soldiers saw your daughter fleeing the castle before our arrival," she revealed, her tone suggesting that Queen Eve's daughter may hold significant importance in their plans.

Zephia stared intently at Queen Eve, her eyes narrowing with a mix of curiosity and impatience. She spoke, her voice carrying a commanding tone. "Tell me, Queen Eve," she demanded, her words laced with authority, "did your daughter take the Kingdom of Firene's Emblem Ring with her?"

Queen Eve, refusing to succumb to Zephia's demands, remained silent. Her gaze, filled with defiance, locked onto Zephia's eyes, refusing to give in to intimidation.

Zephia, unyielding in her pursuit of information, sighed in frustration. "Since you're unwilling to disclose the location of the Emblem Ring," she declared, her voice dripping with a sinister undertone, "I shall have my soldiers slay the people in Firene Castle, one by one."

Queen Eve's defiance remained unwavering, her glare intensifying as she realized the dire consequences that awaited her people. Zephia's face twisted into a devious smirk, reveling in the power she held over the fate of Firene Castle.

Princess Veronica, adorned in regal attire, gracefully settled into an elegant chair at one of the more opulent tables in the Aether Resort's Dining Hall, patiently awaiting the arrival of Alfonse, Sharena, and Commander Anna. The room exuded an air of sophistication and warmth as the aroma of delectable dishes filled the air.

As Alfonse, Sharena, and Commander Anna approached the table, their hands carefully balancing trays laden with mouthwatering food, they exchanged nods of acknowledgment. With a smooth synchrony, they took their respective seats, joining Princess Veronica at the table.

With an air of stoic composure, Veronica broke the silence, her voice calm yet inquisitive. "May I inquire about the dish you three have chosen for our lunch today?" she queried, her eyes fixed on her companions.

Commander Anna, ever the organizer, directed her attention towards Princess Veronica. "For lunch today, we will be enjoying the Heroes' Special," she informed Veronica, her voice carrying a hint of excitement.

Veronica, intrigued by the mention of this dish, nodded in acknowledgment. "I see. Heroes' Special, you say?" she replied, her curiosity piqued.

Sharena, with a warm smile, reached out and offered one of the elegantly shaped Heroes' Special sandwiches to Veronica. "Here, Veronica, try one. You'll love it," she encouraged, her voice filled with genuine enthusiasm.

Veronica, appreciative of the gesture, accepted the sandwich with a gracious nod. "Thank you, Sharena. I shall give it a try," she replied, her voice tinged with gratitude.

As Veronica held the sandwich in her delicate hands, she marveled at its artful presentation. The aroma of the chopped lettuce, savory ground pork meat, and perfectly fried eggs wafted through the air, enticing her senses. With a sense of anticipation, she took a bite, savoring the harmonious blend of flavors.

A smile graced Veronica's lips as the delightful combination of textures and tastes danced on her palate. She looked at Sharena, her eyes shining with approval. "This is truly delicious, Sharena. Thank you for introducing me to the Heroes' Special," she expressed, her voice filled with genuine admiration.

As Veronica took a sip of water after eating her Heroes' Special, her throat felt refreshed as she cleared it. At that moment, her gaze wandered across the room and landed on a Hero who sat alone at a distant table, indulging in a Heroes' Special sandwich. The woman exuded an aura of regality, capturing Veronica's attention.

Intrigued by the presence of this noble-looking Hero, Veronica turned to Alfonse, seeking answers. "Alfonse, do you happen to know the identity of the elegant woman enjoying the Heroes' Special over there?" she inquired, her voice filled with curiosity.

Alfonse followed Veronica's gaze, his eyes falling upon the regal figure. After a moment of observation, he turned back to Veronica, his expression thoughtful.

"That woman, Veronica, is a new Hero named Lumera," Alfonse revealed.

As Lumera gracefully savored her meal, Veronica's curiosity burned within her. She turned to Alfonse, Sharena, and Commander Anna, seeking answers to the origin of this enigmatic Hero. "Do any of you know where Lumera comes from?" she asked, her voice filled with intrigue.

Sharena, always eager to share her knowledge, chimed in with enthusiasm. "Lumera is a Divine Dragon, and she used to be the Queen of a kingdom in a world called Elyos," she explained, her voice carrying a sense of awe.

Veronica's eyes widened in surprise, her mind racing to connect the dots. Just moments ago, they had been inspecting the Elyos Outrealm Gate, and now they found themselves in the presence of someone who hailed from that very world. The coincidence was not lost on her.

Unable to contain her astonishment, Veronica spoke her thoughts aloud. "If Lumera came from Elyos, that means she is the first Elyos to be summoned to Zenith," she commented, her voice reflecting a mix of disbelief and wonder.

Sharena looked at Veronica, and she smiled, knowing that Veronica was curious about the new Hero, Lumera, that was sitting on a faraway table.

"So, Veronica, do you want to chat with Lumera?" Sharena smiled as she asked Veronica. "I'll even escort you to Lumera's table if you want."

Veronica pondered Sharena's suggestion, her mind contemplating the idea of approaching Lumera for a conversation. After a moment of contemplation, she briefly closed her eyes, her expression stoic yet determined.

"Very well, Sharena," Veronica responded, her voice steady. "I will take your offer and accompany you to Lumera's table."

Meanwhile, on her table, as Lumera elegantly savored the last morsels of her Heroes' Special meal, her thoughts drifted to her homeland of Elyos: Alear, her daughter, and Kiran, the Summoner who helped Alear and summoned Lumera herself back to life as a Hero, occupied her mind.

"I wonder how my child and Kiran are faring in Elyos right now?" Lumera muttered.

Lost in her musings, Lumera was interrupted by Sharena's voice breaking through her reverie.

"Lumera, there's someone who wishes to meet you," Sharena announced, her voice filled with excitement.

Curiosity piqued, Lumera turned her gaze towards Sharena, only to find herself facing a sight that captivated her attention. Standing beside Sharena was a young woman with striking white hair, elegantly dressed in a regal black gown.

"It's good to see you again, Sharena," Lumera greeted with a warm smile, her eyes conveying a sense of familiarity and fondness.

Turning her attention to Veronica, Lumera acknowledged her presence. "Veronica, it seems you are the one who wished to speak with me," Lumera stated, her voice carrying a hint of curiosity.

Veronica nodded, her gaze meeting Lumera's. "That's correct. I am Princess Veronica of the Emblian Empire," she introduced herself. "Sharena told me about your connection to Elyos, and I wanted to learn more."

A gentle smile played on Lumera's lips as she listened to Veronica's words. "Indeed, Elyos is my home world," she confirmed, a touch of nostalgia evident in her voice.

Without hesitation, Lumera extended an invitation to both Sharena and Veronica. "Please, have a seat with me at the table," she offered graciously.

Obeying Lumera's suggestion, Sharena and Veronica settled themselves, ready to engage in a meaningful conversation with the Divine Dragon. As they delved into their discussion, the air around them buzzed with curiosity and the promise of newfound knowledge. It was a meeting that would forge bonds, unravel mysteries, and shape the course of their intertwined destinies.

Alfonse's gaze shifted from his table to where Sharena, Veronica, and Lumera engaged in lively conversation. A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he turned to Commander Anna, his voice filled with admiration.

"They seem to be enjoying themselves," Alfonse remarked, his eyes reflecting the joy he observed.

Commander Anna nodded, her own gaze fixed on the trio. "Indeed, they surely are," she replied, her voice laced with satisfaction.

A sigh escaped Alfonse's lips as he spoke, his voice tinged with longing. "I can't help but wish that we could meet with Kiran soon," he confessed, his desire for their reunion evident.

Placing her right hand on Alfonse's shoulder, Commander Anna offered reassurance. "The day will come when we'll reunite with Kiran," she assured him, her voice brimming with confidence.

As he watched Sharena, Veronica, and Lumera chatting on in their table, Alfonse's gratitude shone through as he expressed his appreciation.

"Thank you, Commander Anna," Alfonse responded. "Let's hope that we can help Kiran himself when that time comes."

As Alfonse and Commander Anna watched Sharena, Veronica, and Lumera continue chatting with one another, their determination to reunite and maybe even help Kiran in Elyos grew stronger.

As the huge door of Firene Castle swung open, a rush of determination filled the air. Alear, Kiran, Alfred, and Celine sprinted towards the entrance, ready to confront the looming presence of Zephia, Nelucce, and their soldiers. Queen Eve's face lit up with a radiant smile, her heart swelling with pride as she laid eyes upon her children, Alfred and Celine, standing by her side.

Zephia, with a hint of mockery in her voice, addressed Queen Eve. "Well, well, if it isn't your dear children coming home," she sneered. Alfred, the Crown Prince of Firene, his voice firm and resolute, spoke up. "Release my mother, Queen Eve, this instant!" he demanded, his eyes filled with unwavering determination.

With a smug expression, Zephia turned her attention to Alfred. "And who, may I ask, is going to make us?" she taunted, her voice dripping with arrogance.

Zephia's eyes fixated on Celine, her voice filled with a demanding tone. "Hand over the Kingdom of Firene's Emblem Ring, Celine," she insisted, her gaze unwavering.

Celine tightened her grip on the Ring of the Caring Princess, determination shining in her eyes. She took a step forward, ready to protect the symbol of her kingdom.

Queen Eve, her voice filled with a mix of concern and defiance, spoke up. "Leave my children alone," she pleaded, her words laced with a mother's love.

Zephia, never one to miss an opportunity for sarcasm, mocked Queen Eve with a cynical tone. "Oh, how generous of you, Queen Eve. I'll consider leaving your children be, but only if your daughter hands over Firene's Emblem Ring," she taunted, her voice dripping with contempt.

With a flick of her hand, Zephia signaled her soldiers to surround Queen Eve, ready to "escort" her away from the tense scene.

Zephia's soldiers forcefully escorted Queen Eve away, their grip tight as they led her out of sight. With a calculating gaze, Zephia's eyes fell upon Alear, her voice filled with curiosity and demands.

"And who might you be?" Zephia questioned, her tone sharp and demanding. Alear stood tall, her voice resonating with confidence.

"I am the Divine Dragon," Alear declared, her words carrying an air of power and authority. Zephia's eyebrows furrowed in skepticism.

"I find that hard to believe," Zephia scoffed, her doubt evident. "Lumera was the last of Elyos' Divine Dragons."

Zephia's attention then shifted to Kiran, her eyes narrowing as she addressed him. Accusation laced her words as she spoke.

"And you," Zephia sneered at Kiran himself. "You're the one who gave our little one trouble a few days ago."

"Oh, is that so?" Kiran retorted, his tone laced with mockery. "Then, I'm glad to be a nuisance to your schemes then."

Zephia's sneer deepened as she addressed Kiran, her voice dripping with disdain.

"You've got quite a sharp tongue, don't you?" Zephia taunted Kiran, her words laced with a mix of annoyance and amusement. However, her attention quickly shifted to Alear and Celine, her eyes gleaming with anticipation.

"But let's talk about something more important," Zephia declared, her voice filled with a sinister undertone. "You two have at least three Emblem Rings in your possession."

Alear, Kiran, Alfred, and Celine didn't back down in the face of Zephia's demand. Her voice carried a firm resolve as she responded.

"I won't hand over any of our Emblem Rings to someone as vile as you," Alear declared, her words resonating with defiance. However, Zephia seemed unfazed by Alear's response, choosing to ignore it entirely.

With a proud smirk, Zephia proclaimed her next piece of information, her voice filled with confidence.

"In that case, Fell Dragon Sombron has returned," Zephia announced, her words echoing through the air. "And the Kingdom of Elusia is allying with him."

Alear's glare intensified as Zephia mentioned the Fell Dragon's name.

"So, it's true that Fell Dragon Sombron has indeed returned," Alear stated firmly, her words carrying a sense of authority. However, Zephia wasted no time in shifting the blame onto Alear.

"It was all thanks to you waking up that Lord Sombron has returned," Zephia accused, her tone dripping with malice. Alear remained silent, her gaze unwavering as she knew Zephia's accusations held no truth.

Undeterred by Alear's silence, Zephia continued to taunt, her voice laced with arrogance.

"The time for chat is over," Zephia declared, her words cutting through the tension in the air. With a swift motion, Zephia's wyvern swooped down, and she effortlessly leaped onto its back. The wyvern soared further into the castle hall.

As Zephia rode atop her wyvern, a sinister smile played on her lips. With a flick of her wrist, she cast a spell from her tome, and the inner doors of the castle interior suddenly snap shut. And then, the ground trembled beneath them. In a matter of moments, multiple Corrupted beings emerged, their twisted forms joining forces with the Elusian soldiers.

As Alear, Kiran, Alfred, and Celine readied their weapons against the summoned Corrupted army, Zephia's voice carried across the battleground as she issued her command.

"Kill them all!" Zephia's tone was filled with malice, her words laced with a chilling determination. "And retrieve the Emblem Rings from their corpses!"

Nelucce, wielding his formidable axe, grinned with anticipation. He stepped forward, his voice dripping with dark satisfaction.

As the chaos ensued in the castle hallway, the retainers of Alfred and Celine, Boucheron, Etie, Louis, and Chloe, finally arrived on the scene. Alfred's voice rang out, calling their names with relief.

"Boucheron! Etie!" Alfred exclaimed, his eyes brightening at the sight of his loyal retainers.

Celine joined in, her voice filled with gratitude. "Louis! Chloe!" she called out, her tone filled with reassurance.

Etie spoke up, her voice tinged with a hint of amusement. "Apologies for our delay. Boucheron managed to get lost along the way," she explained.

Boucheron, his face flushed with embarrassment, chimed in sheepishly. "I apologize for the inconvenience," he muttered.

Louis, with a sense of duty, reassured the group. "At least as retainers, we have arrived in time to assist Prince Alfred and Princess Celine," he stated firmly.

Chloe, her eyes gleaming with excitement, added her own perspective. "This battle will be one for the storybooks," she declared, a sense of anticipation evident in her voice.

"I was hoping you'd say that," Nelucce declared, his eyes gleaming with a twisted delight.

As Alfred and Celine's retainers joined their side for the battle, Alear, with a determined expression, turned to Kiran and voiced her suggestion. "Kiran, we need to summon your Heroes to help even the odds," she urged, her voice filled with conviction.

Alfred, in agreement with Alear's suggestion, chimed in. "I agree with the Divine One. Kiran, we'll cover you as you summon your Heroes," he assured, his voice steady and resolute.

Celine, her excitement palpable, added her anticipation to the conversation. "I can't wait for you to summon your Heroes, Kiran," she exclaimed, a glimmer of eagerness in her voice.

Kiran, feeling a surge of gratitude, looked at Alear, Alfred, Celine, and their loyal retainers. "Thank you all for believing in me," he said sincerely, his hand gripping the Breidablik tightly. With resolve, he closed his eyes, focusing his thoughts on the Heroes he would summon to aid them in battle.

Meanwhile, Alfonse, Sharena, Anna, and Veronica stood together at the Elyos Outrealm Gate in the World of Zenith, having just finished their lunch. Veronica turned to Alfonse and shared a crucial realization.

"Alfonse, we are the only ones who can properly stabilize the Elyos Outrealm Gate," she stated, her voice laced with a sense of responsibility, "As we both carry the majority of the divine blood of our respective gods within our veins."

"Yes, we'll do this," Alfonse agreed. "We'll stabilize this Outreal Gate. For Kiran!"

Sharena, wearing a supportive smile, chimed in with encouragement. "You're right, Alfonse, Veronica. We'll be cheering you on every step of the way!" she said, her voice filled with optimism and determination.

Commander Anna, ever the strategist, added her thoughts to the discussion. "With this opportunity, we can not only rescue Kiran but also offer our assistance in Elyos," she suggested, her voice displaying a mix of hope and determination.

The four heroes stood united, their resolve unwavering, as they prepared to embark on their mission to stabilize the Elyos Outrealm Gate and provide aid to Kiran in Elyos.

Alfonse and Veronica stood side by side, their weapons raised high into the air. Alfonse's mighty sword, Fólkvangr, gleamed in the sunlight, while Veronica held her tome, Enclosing Dark, with a firm grip. Together, they channeled their inner power, their voices merging into one.

"As we carry the blood of the gods Askr and Embla in our veins," Alfonse and Veronica chanted in unison, their words resonating with ancient power, "We command this Outrealm Gate to stabilize and open its doors for us to cross to the world on the other side!"

Sharena and Commander Anna watched in awe as Alfonse and Veronica's bodies were enveloped in a soft, ethereal glow, a delicate shade of grey. The Elyos Outrealm Gate responded to their call, its previously dormant surface now pulsating with a mesmerizing blend of black and white light.

The Elyos Outrealm Gate began to creak open, its massive doors revealing a mesmerizing spectacle of light and darkness. Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and Veronica stood at its threshold, their eyes wide with anticipation. As the gate revealed its hidden realm, a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors engulfed them.

Sharena's voice rang out, filled with awe and excitement. "Look! Whatever Alfonse and Veronica did, it's working!"

Veronica, ever composed, nodded in agreement. "Indeed. Our efforts have proven fruitful."

Commander Anna, her eyes gleaming with determination, spoke up. "With the gate open, we can finally travel to Elyos and lend our aid to Kiran."

Alfonse's voice carried both hope and urgency. "I agree. Let us make haste and ensure we arrive in time to support Kiran."

As the Elyos Outrealm Gate fully swung open, its magnificent archway framed a path leading to the unknown. Without hesitation, Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and Veronica stepped forward, their forms gradually fading from the World of Zenith.

Their journey had begun. Their objective: to reunite with Kiran and provide the assistance he needed in the world of Elyos. With unwavering determination, they ventured forth, leaving behind the familiar realm of Zenith, as they set out to face the challenges that awaited them in Elyos.

But, as Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and Veronica momentarily left Zenith to Elyos, a dagger struck the Elyos Outrealm Gate, and a chunk of the Outrealm Gate fell into the ground. The one who threw a dagger was a Thief clad in black, who picked up the chunk of rock that detached from the Elyos Outrealm Gate and fled to parts unknown.

Back in Firene Castle, Kiran's eyes suddenly snapped open. Knowing what Heroes he needed for this battle, he raised his Breidablik upwards and began to chant.

"Gathering wishes to call people blessed by the gods of openness and closure!" Kiran chanted. "Become the path that light shines upon!"

Kiran's Breidablik fired four orbs, two red, one blue, and one green, which quickly descended into the castle floor, which quickly descended onto the castle floor.

As the 4 orbs descended into the ground, the whole castle interior was bathed in a white light that forcibly opened the doors that magically shut earlier. Alear, Alfred, Celine, their retainers, and even Zephia and Nelucce stood agape as the brilliant light faded away, revealing the four Heroes that Kiran had summoned.

Kiran's voice rang out, filled with confidence and purpose, as he chanted the words that would bind these heroes to the battlefield.

"Hero Summon! I bring forth Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and Veronica into the battlefield!"

As the light of the four orbs faded away, and in their place stood the four Heroes that Kiran had summoned, Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and Veronica, with their weapons ready to fight and assist Kiran in this fight.

Alear, Alfred, Celine, and their retainers stood in awe as they gaped at the four Heroes summoned by Kiran. Alear was the first to speak, her voice filled with astonishment. "These Heroes that Kiran summoned... They're different. I can feel it," she said, her eyes wide with wonder.

Celine joined in, her voice tinged with curiosity. "Indeed, three of them are dressed in similar white attire. It's intriguing," she remarked, her gaze fixed on the Heroes before them.

Alfred, wearing a satisfied smile, chimed in. "I'm relieved that Kiran summoned these Heroes. With their presence, I'm certain they will greatly aid us in this battle," he stated confidently, his eyes gleaming with hope.

The retainers, their expressions a mix of surprise and anticipation, nodded in agreement, eager to witness the power of the Heroes summoned by Kiran.

Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and Veronica stood before Kiran, their eyes filled with a mix of relief and joy at their long-awaited reunion. Alfonse, taking a step forward, addressed Kiran with a warm smile.

"I'm Alfonse, the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Askr. I'm glad that we're finally reunited with you, Kiran," Alfonse said, his voice filled with genuine happiness.

Sharena, unable to contain her excitement, approached Kiran with open arms. "Kiran, it's me Sharena, the Princess of Askr! We've all missed you so much!" She exclaimed, her voice filled with affection and longing.

Commander Anna, standing resolute beside Sharena, spoke with determination in her voice. "I'm Anna, the Commander of the Order of Heroes. We've arrived, Kiran. The Order of Heroes is here to assist you," she declared, her gaze unwavering.

Veronica, her stoic demeanor softened, looked directly at Kiran and spoke in a calm yet sincere tone. "I'm Veronica, the Emblian Empire's Princess Rising. You're no longer alone, Kiran," she stated, her words carrying a sense of solidarity and support.

Kiran, gratitude evident in his eyes, addressed his allies with a heartfelt expression. "Thank you, Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and Veronica, for heeding my summons," he expressed, his voice filled with appreciation and relief.

As she watched Kiran summoned his Heroes, Zephia, her eyes filled with a mix of anger and contempt, directed her glare towards Kiran and the Heroes standing beside him. She sneered at them, her voice dripping with mockery.

"Do you think that summoning reinforcements will make a difference? Even with your precious Heroes, you're still outnumbered by my combined Corrupted and Elusian forces," she taunted, relishing in her perceived advantage.

Kiran, seemingly unfazed by Zephia's words, responded nonchalantly. "Sheer numbers mean little when Emblems and Heroes are united," He calmly retorted, his confidence evident in his voice. He understood the power that their combined strength held.

Alear, standing beside Kiran, stepped forward and addressed him directly. Her voice carried a sense of determination and conviction. "With our Emblems and Heroes, we will stand a chance against you and even Fell Dragon Sombron," she declared, her words resonating with unwavering faith in their abilities.

Zephia's eyes narrowed with a mix of fury and disdain as she fixed her gaze upon Alear. Her voice dripped with venom as she addressed her. "How dare you mock Lord Sombron's name in vain!" She seethed, her tone filled with righteous indignation.

Turning her glare towards Kiran, Zephia's demand was sharp and piercing. "And you, having the gall to summon those so-called Heroes, who do you think you are?" she demanded, her voice laced with a hint of curiosity and challenge.

Kiran, standing tall and unyielding, met Zephia's gaze with unwavering confidence. "I am Kiran Pathfinder, the Summoner of the Order of Heroes," he declared, his voice resonating with authority.

Zephia's lips curled into a wicked smile as she addressed her forces with a chilling command. "Grant no quarter! Kill them all, Alear, Kiran, and their allies and Heroes!" she ordered, her voice carrying the weight of her ruthless determination. "Take away their Emblem Rings from them!"

With weapons drawn and determination in their eyes, Alear and her allies prepared for the battle ahead. Kiran, standing alongside the Order of Heroes, shared a knowing glance with his comrades. The time had come to retake Firene Castle, and they were ready to face whatever dangers awaited them.

As the clash of steel and magic filled the air, the fate of Firene Castle hung in the balance. The battle had begun, and the echoes of their determination reverberated through the castle halls, setting the stage for a fight that would shape the destiny of their worlds.

As the clash of steel and magic erupted, the enemy army of Corrupted and Elusians surged forward, their determination evident in their relentless charge. Alear, Kiran, and their allies stood firm, ready to defend Firene Castle at all costs.

One of the Corrupted Axe Fighters lunged at Alear, their weapon aimed for a fatal blow. With lightning-fast reflexes, Alear skillfully parried the attack, her Libération sword meeting the enemy's weapon with a resounding clash. In one swift motion, she retaliated, slashing her blade against her assailant, leaving a deep gash across their armor.

As Alear caught her breath, she caught sight of an Elusian soldier wielding an Iron Lance, dashing toward her with deadly intent. But before the soldier could reach her, a familiar face came to her aid. It was Alfonse, the Crown Prince of Askr, stepping in to intercept the assailant.

As Alfonse clashed with the Elusian soldier, he was silently thankful that Kiran inherited several skills from various Heroes to him to help tilt the outcome in his favor. With the skills granted to him by Kiran himself, Alfonse retaliated and kicked the Elusian soldier before readying his sword, Fólkvangr.

"My apologies," Alfonse muttered as he finished off the Elusian soldier with a slash from his sword, Fólkvangr.

As Alear watched Alfonse successfully defeat the Elusian soldier, a smile spread across her face. She then turned to Alfonse and expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you, Alfonse, for intercepting that Elusian soldier who was about to attack me."

Alfonse, with determination in his eyes, replied, "Any friend of Kiran is an ally to me and the Order of Heroes. We stand together." He then warned Alear, "But be prepared, Alear. More opponents are heading our way."

Alear nodded, understanding the seriousness of the situation. She tightened her grip on her Libération sword and prepared to face the incoming threat alongside Alfonse. As several Corrupted and Elusian soldiers lunged at them, Alear and Alfonse readied themselves, ready to defend their allies and fight with all their might.

As Alfred, the Crown Prince of Firene, rode on his trusty horse, swiftly striking down Corrupted and Elusian soldiers with his Iron Lance, his loyal retainers Boucheron and Etie followed closely behind. Together, they made a formidable trio, eliminating any stragglers that crossed their path.

Amidst the chaos, Alfred's keen eyes caught sight of Sharena, the Princess of Askr, valiantly battling against a group of Corrupted soldiers in the distance. Determined to assist the princess, Alfred turned to his loyal retainers and requested their aid.

"Boucheron, Etie, come with me!" Alfred called out. "We must lend our strength to Princess Sharena."

Boucheron, ever faithful and ready to serve, replied, "Prince Alfred, I shall follow your lead. Together, we shall ensure Sharena's safety."

Etie, a skilled archer, nodded in agreement. "I will provide cover and aid Sharena with my arrows. Let's go help her."

As Sharena battled against four Corrupted soldiers, she gripped her trusty lance Fensalir tightly, ready to defend herself. When one of the Corrupted lunged at her, an arrow suddenly struck its head, knocking the soldier to the ground.

Sharena looked up in surprise to see Alfred and his retainers Boucheron and Etie charging to her aid. Alfred and Boucheron engaged two of the Corrupted soldiers, while Etie's archery skills picked off another.

This left Sharena facing just one Corrupted soldier wielding an Iron Sword. "Thanks for the assist!" Sharena called out to Alfred.

Alfred flashed a smile. "Since you're Kiran's friend, we'll always have your back, Princess Sharena!"

As Sharena saw Alfred and his retainers, Boucheron and Etie took on two of the Corrupted, leaving her in combat against just one Corrupted soldier wielding an Iron Sword, the Corrupted soldier lunged at Sharena with their sword.

But as a co-leader of the Order of Heroes, Sharena readied her Fensalir for a riposte attack and parried the Corrupted's sword attacks. She then used her Fensalir lance to slash at her opponent, landing a solid hit.

"There's my opening!" Sharena exclaimed triumphantly as she defeated the Corrupted soldier.

As Sharena defeated her Corrupted opponent, Alfred approached her on horseback and said, "We made it to you just in time, Sharena."

Sharena smiled at Alfred and replied, "You must be one of Kiran's friends and allies from Elyos."

Alfred answered "That's right. Any ally and friend of Kiran is also an ally and friend of Friene and Elyos as well."

Then, Etie interrupted and said to Alfred and Sharena "I don't like to interrupt, but more Corrupted and Elusian enemies are heading our way."

Boucheron chimed in, "I'll do my best to protect both Prince Alfred and Princess Sharena."

Alfred and Sharena grasped their lances as they and Alfred's retainers readied themselves against the entourage of Corrupted and Elusian enemies that were coming their way.

As Celine and her retainers, Louis and Chloe, fought off droves of Corrupted and Elusian soldiers, they found themselves facing Nelucce and a number of his forces. Nelucce sneered at Celine, mocking her as the runaway princess.

"Well, well, if it isn't the runaway princess," Nelucce taunted. "I must say, it's quite amusing to see you still trying to resist. But don't worry, I'll make sure you flee this time."

Celine stood tall, her eyes filled with determination. She refused to back down. "I'm not running away this time, Nelucce," she retorted. "It is you who should be running like a coward."

Louis and Chloe stood by Celine's side, their weapons ready. Louis spoke up, his voice filled with loyalty and conviction. "You won't lay a finger on Princess Celine," he declared. "We are here to protect her, no matter the cost."

Chloe nodded in agreement, her eyes focused on Nelucce. "You underestimate us," she said, her voice dripping with confidence. "We won't let you harm our princess. Prepare to face the consequences of your actions."

Nelucce's expression twisted into a wicked grin. "Very well," he hissed. "Let's see if you can back up your words, Princess and her loyal retainers. I'll enjoy watching you suffer."

With that, the battle commenced the clash of swords and the sound of magic filling the air. Celine and her allies fought with all their might, their determination unwavering as they faced off against Nelucce and his forces.

As her retainers, Louis and Chloe, were busy fending off several Corrupted and Elusian soldiers, Nelucce said to Celine to prepare herself as he readied his Hand Axe and lunged at Celine. Just as Celine was about to defend herself, Anna, the Commander of the Order of Heroes, intercepted Nelucce's attack with her axe, Nóatún.

"Tch! Just who are you supposed to be?" Nelucce gritted his teeth as Anna managed to intercept his attack meant for Celine.

"Me? I'm Anna, the Commander of the Order of Heroes," Commander Anna proudly declared as she kicked Nelucce in the stomach, knocking off balance.

As the clash of weapons resonated in the air, Celine watched with relief as Anna thwarted Nelucce's attack. She gathered her composure and stepped forward, her eyes locked onto Nelucce.

"Nelucce, your reign of terror ends here and now," Celine declared. "You may have underestimated me before, but I won't run away anymore."

"Oh, how brave of you, runaway princess," Nelucce sneered, his eyes filled with arrogance. "But you forget, I still have Zephia's backing alongside the Corrupted and Elusian soldiers. Face it, princess. You're outmatched."

"It's not just me anymore," Celine declared as she tightened her grip on her sword and tome, determination burning in her eyes. "I have the support of my retainers, Louis and Chloe, and the entire Order of Heroes. We fight to retake Firene Castle and drive you back to where you came from."

Nelucce's laughter echoed through the battlefield.

"As if you can do that?" Nelucce mocked at Celine. "Your precious Kingdom and the so-called Order of Heroes are nothing but a band of fools."

Commander Anna stepped forward, her presence commanding attention.

"You seem to have a misunderstanding," Commander Anna spoke. "The Order of Heroes is not to be taken lightly. We bring justice to those who cause suffering and protect those in need. You will not prevail against us."

Celine looked at Commander Anna as she spoke to Nelucce.

"Thank you, Commander Anna," Celine said to Commander Anna. "Let's finish him off together."

"Since your retainers are busy fighting off those enemy soldiers that this fella brought along, I couldn't agree more," Commander Anna replied, and then she turned her attention to Nelucce. "Shall we?"

Celine nodded as she readied her Fire tome while Anna's grip on her Nóatún axe tightened as Nelucce was still aiming to fight them both, being too agitated to even consider backing off or standing down.

Being too agitated to consider running away, Nelucce lunged at Celine and Commander Anna with this Hand Axe. Commander Anna intercepted that attack again and wasted no time slashing Nelucce with her Nóatún axe, knocking him back several feet into the ground.

"Fools, strike me down as much as you like," Nelucce boasted as he picked up a strange stone from his pockets. "But I have my Revival Stones with me. With these items, I shall be more durable..."

Suddenly, the Revival Stone in his possession crumbled to dust in Nelucce's hand, making him panic.

"No! My Revival Stone! How?" Nelucce grimaced as the item that could've given him a second wind crumbled to dust before him, leaving him at the mercy of Celine and Commander Anna.

While Nelucce was grimacing about his situation, Celine wasted no time as her Fire tome began to glow red.

"You need pruning!" Celine declared as she blasted a fireball to Nelucce.

The fireball managed to hit Nelucce, scorching him and knocking him several feet into the castle floor. Nelucee groaned in pain as he felt that his end was drawing near.

"No... I... I failed her..." Nelucce muttered before he breathed his last.

As the smoke from the scorched floor cleared, Celine stood victorious, her Fire Tome still crackling with residual energy. She looked down at Nelucce's lifeless form and couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and sadness. Turning her attention to Commander Anna, who approached her with concern, Celine mustered a weary smile.

Commander Anna's voice was filled with both relief and admiration as she spoke to Celine. "Are you okay, Celine? That was quite the battle."

Celine nodded, her chest rising and falling with each labored breath. "I'm... I'm fine, Commander. Just a bit out of breath from dealing with that cretin."

Anna's eyes scanned the area, taking in the aftermath of the intense fight. "You did well. It's not easy going up against such formidable enemies. But you showed great strength and determination."

"I see..." Celine nodded as she remembered what Nelucee revealed about Revival Stones. "That cretin said that his Revival Stone would make him more durable, but it somehow failed to work on him."

"Princess Celine, I don't know how his Revival Stone failed him," Commander Anna replied. "Maybe we can both tell Kiran and the others about it later..."

And then, Louis and Chloe approached Celine and Commander Anna, their faces adorned with sweat and determination. Louis spoke first, relief evident in his voice. "Princess Celine, you are safe. We have vanquished our adversaries."

Chloe chimed in, her eyes sparkling with admiration. "Indeed, Princess, the way you and Commander Anna fought side by side was like witnessing a fairytale come to life."

Commander Anna smiled warmly at Celine, her gaze shifting to the retainers. "You have quite the interesting retainers, Princess Celine."

Celine nodded with a sense of gratitude in her voice. "Indeed, Commander Anna. Louis and Chloe have proven themselves to be loyal and capable retainers. I am grateful to have them by my side."

As she surveyed the castle, Commander Anna's eyes widened as she noticed Kiran engaged in a fierce battle against Zephia and her army of Corrupted. She turned to Celine, urgency in her voice. "Celine, Kiran needs our help!"

Celine nodded, determination etched on her face. "You're right, Commander Anna. We can't let Kiran himself face that many enemies alone." She turned to her loyal retainers, Louis and Chloe. "Louis, Chloe, I need you to finish off any remaining Corrupted and Elusian soldiers in the castle. We'll join Kiran in the fight."

Louis and Chloe exchanged determined glances before nodding in unison. "Of course, Princess Celine. We will clear the path for you and Commander Anna to help out Kiran."

With a plan in motion, Celine and Commander Anna rushed towards the battlefield, ready to lend their aid to Kiran against the onslaught of Zephia's forces. Meanwhile, Louis and Chloe swiftly moved to eliminate any remaining threats, ensuring a clear path for their princess and the Commander of the Order of Heroes.

Meanwhile, Kiran was facing off against Zephia and her remaining army of Corrupted. As the Corrupted lunged at Kiran, he quickly switched his Breidablik into its various forms as he defeated every single Corrupted that stood in his way.

As Kiran skillfully dispatched one Corrupted after another, Zephia's voice rang out amid the chaos.

"You, Summoner, are nothing but a nuisance to Lord Sombron's grand designs. It's time for you to die!" With a swift motion, she unleashed a bolt of crackling energy from her Thoron tome, aiming it directly at Kiran.

To everyone's surprise, the attack was abruptly deflected by a mysterious orb of dark, flaming energy. The orb hovered protectively in front of Kiran, shielding them from harm. Kiran looked up, their eyes widening in disbelief at the unexpected turn of events.

Zephia's eyes widened in shock as her powerful Thoron bolt was unexpectedly deflected, sparing Kiran from its devastating impact. Frustration and confusion etched across her face, she demanded, "Who dares to defy me? Show yourself!"

A voice echoed through the battlefield, cutting through the tension. It was Veronica, the determined Princess of the Emblian Empire. Her voice carried conviction as she declared, "It was I who deflected your attack, Zephia. You will not harm the Summoner."

Veronica remained composed as she unleashed another bolt of dark energy from her Enclosing Dark tome, aimed directly at Zephia. However, displaying her agility and quick reflexes, Zephia deftly evaded the attack, narrowly escaping its destructive path.

Zephia's eyes narrowed as she caught sight of her allies, Alear, sprinting towards the location where Kiran and Veronica stood, victorious over their fallen adversaries. With determination burning in her gaze, Zephia approached Kiran, her voice carrying a mix of defiance and warning.

"This isn't over," Zephia declared, her tone dripping with disdain. "You and your so-called Order of Heroes have made a grave mistake by becoming enemies of the mighty Fell Dragon Sombron."

Kiran remained unfazed, his unwavering resolve evident in his response. He met Zephia's gaze squarely and retorted, "Is that all you have to say before you make your dramatic exit?"

Zephia's eyes narrowed further, a wicked smile playing upon her lips. Without further hesitation, she conjured a dark and ominous spell, weaving her magic with practiced precision. The air crackled with dark energy as Zephia utilized her newfound power to escape the area, leaving behind a lingering sense of foreboding.

"You let her get away," Veronica stoically said to Kiran.

"To be fair, you often retreat when we managed to defeat you back in the day, remember?" Kiran retorted.

"I conceded to your point," Veronica nodded. "Still, this Zephia will return with a much stronger army."

"I agree with that, Princess Veronica," Kiran replied. "At least, the battle for Firene Castle has now concluded."

With Firene Castle now reclaimed and the echoes of battle fading, Alear, Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, Alfred, Celine, and their loyal retainers gathered together and finally reunited with Kiran and Veronica. Alear, her concern evident in her voice, approached Kiran and posed a question.

"Kiran! Did Zephia hurt you?" Alear asked, her eyes searching for any signs of injury.

Kiran shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips. "No, Zephia's attack was deflected by Veronica," he replied, his voice filled with gratitude for his fellow summoner's timely intervention.

"Yes, I did manage to save the Summoner from such an attack," Veronica nonchalantly said.

Celine, standing nearby, chimed in, her voice filled with determination. "Alear, don't worry. I'll go and check on my mother, Queen Eve. I need to make sure she's alright," she assured her friend.

Alear nodded, her expression filled with appreciation. "Thank you, Celine. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help," she replied, her voice filled with genuine concern.

As Celine quietly made her way into the back room of Firene Castle to ensure Queen Eve's safety, Alear stood with Kiran and the other members of the Order of Heroes, engaging in conversation. Feeling a sense of obligation, Alear turned to Alfonse, her voice filled with sincerity.

"You know, Alfonse, I never properly introduced myself to the Order of Heroes," Alear admitted with a tinge of regret in her tone.

Alfonse smiled warmly, reassuring her. "There's no need to worry, Alear. We understand that circumstances have been quite chaotic lately," he replied, his voice comforting and understanding.

Sharena, unable to contain her enthusiasm, interjected, her voice bubbling with excitement. "But now is the perfect time to start introducing ourselves! We're all in this together, after all," she suggested, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

Alear nodded, a determined look on her face. "You're right. We should take this opportunity to get to know one another better," she agreed, her voice filled with resolve.

Alear stood tall, her presence commanding the attention of the Order of Heroes. With a regal air about her, she spoke, introducing herself with pride.

"I am Alear, the Divine Dragon of Lythos," she declared, her voice resonating with power and grace.

Alfonse, always polite and diplomatic, stepped forward next. "I am Prince Alfonse of Askr," he introduced himself, extending a hand in greeting.

Sharena, with her infectious energy, eagerly followed suit. "And I'm Princess Sharena, Alfonse's sister," she chimed in, a warm smile adorning her face.

Commander Anna, the leader of the Order, stepped forward next, her voice carrying a hint of authority. "I am Commander Anna, and I lead this esteemed group of heroes," she stated, her tone confident and assured.

Veronica seemed hesitant, her eyes darting around uncertainly. However, as Kiran nodded in encouragement, she let out a resigned sigh, gathering her composure. She finally introduced herself, her voice tinged with a mix of vulnerability and determination.

"I am Veronica, the Princess of the Emblian Empire," Veronica introduced herself with her voice softer than before.

Then, Alfred, the Crown Prince of Firene, stepped forward, his regal demeanor evident as he addressed the Order of Heroes. With a polite smile, he introduced himself and clarified the whereabouts of his sister.

"I guess I should also introduce myself. My name is Alfred, the Crown Prince of Firene," he stated, his voice carrying a tone of authority. "The one who went to the castle's back room is my sister, Celine."

Alfred gestured towards his retainers, who stood behind him, ready to lend their support. "Allow me to introduce my loyal retainers," he continued. "This is Boucheron and Etie."

Boucheron, a seasoned Axe Fighter nodded respectfully towards the Order of Heroes. Etie, an elegant archer, offered a polite smile.

Alfred then turned his attention to Celine's retainers, who had accompanied her to the back room. "And these are Louis and Chloe, the trusted retainers of my sister, Celine," he said, acknowledging their presence.

Sharena, ever enthusiastic, couldn't contain her excitement. "I'm so happy to make so many friends here in Elyos!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with joy.

Alfonse, appreciating the sentiment, nodded in agreement. "Indeed, it's wonderful to have allies from different realms," he said, his voice filled with genuine warmth.

Commander Anna, always focused on the mission at hand, chimed in. "We're stronger together, no matter where we come from," she affirmed, her words carrying a sense of unity.

A few moments later, Celine, having checked on her mother, Queen Eve, returned to Alear, Kiran, and their allies. She approached Alear and spoke softly, ensuring her voice carried only to the intended recipients.

"Alear, I just checked on my mother. She's alright," Celine reassured, a relieved smile gracing her lips.

Alear let out a sigh of relief, her worry visibly dissipating. "I'm glad to hear that," she replied, gratitude evident in her voice.

Alfred, still processing the recent events, chimed in with a mixture of relief and concern. "I'm thankful that my mother is okay," he remarked, his voice tinged with lingering worry.

Turning to his retainers, Boucheron and Etie, Alfred issued a command. "Boucheron, Etie, I want you both to stand guard in the castle hallway," he instructed, his tone decisive.

Boucheron and Etie nodded in understanding, acknowledging their duty. They quickly moved to fulfill Alfred's request, positioning themselves strategically in the hallway to ensure the safety of the castle.

Celine mirrored her brother's actions, addressing her retainers, Louis and Chloe. "Louis, Chloe, I need you to do the same. Stand guard and keep a watchful eye," she requested with her voice firm but caring.

Louis and Chloe nodded in unison, their loyalty and dedication unwavering. They promptly followed Celine's instruction, taking their positions alongside Boucheron and Etie in the castle hallway.

With the retainers fulfilling their assigned roles, a sense of security settled over the castle, allowing Alear, Kiran, and their allies to go to the castle's back room to meet with Queen Eve.

In Firene Castle's back room, Queen Eve reunited with her children, Alfred and Celine, with Alear, Kiran, Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and Veronica accompanying them.

Queen Eve walked into the back room with a smile of relief on her face. "My dear children," she spoke fondly as she embraced Alfred and Celine.

"I am so grateful to be rescued safely," Queen Eve continued, looking at Alear, Kiran, and the Order of Heroes. "But even more than that, I am overjoyed to see both of you unharmed," she said, gazing proudly at Alfred and Celine.

Alfred cleared his throat and stepped forward, addressing his mother. "Mother, I would like to introduce you to Alear, the Divine Dragon of Lythos," he said with a hint of pride in his voice. "Alear has come all the way here to see you."

Alear herself nodded respectfully toward Queen Eve. "It is an honor to meet you, Queen Eve," she said, her voice carrying a gentle warmth. "I am relieved to see that you are safe."

Queen Eve smiled warmly at Alear. "Thank you, Alear. It is wonderful to meet you as well," she replied. "I have heard tales of your legendary status and the great slumber you have awoken from."

Alear nodded, acknowledging Queen Eve's words. "Indeed, I have been in a deep slumber for quite some time," she admitted. "But now, I am here to aid and protect those in need."

Queen Eve extended her hand towards Alear. "I am grateful for your presence and your willingness to protect our kingdom," she said sincerely. "I am Eve, the Queen of Firene. Welcome to Firene Castle, Alear."

Alear gently grasped Queen Eve's hand, a symbol of respect and alliance. "Thank you, Queen Eve. I am honored to be here," she replied, a sense of duty evident in her voice.

Then, Alfred took a deep breath, gathering the courage to share the news with his mother. "Mother, there's something remarkable I must tell you," he began, his voice filled with a mix of awe and excitement. "Alear herself brought forth Emblem Celica from her Emblem Ring."

Queen Eve's eyes widened with astonishment. "Bringing forth an Emblem? That is truly extraordinary," she exclaimed, her voice filled with wonder. She turned her gaze towards Alear, gratitude evident in her expression. "Once again, Alear, I cannot thank you enough for your assistance."

Alear nodded solemnly, understanding the weight of the moment. "You are most welcome, Queen Eve," she replied, her tone filled with a sense of responsibility. "Is there something else you want to ask of me?"

Queen Eve's face tensed with concern as she listened to Alear's words. "What happened to Queen Lumera?" she asked, her voice tinged with worry.

A brief silence enveloped the room as Alear gathered her thoughts. "I regret to inform you that Queen Lumera has passed on as she defended the Ring Vault from the Fell Dragon's forces," she finally replied, her voice carrying a note of sadness. "But fear not, Kiran himself was there to help me move past that difficult time."

As soon as Alear mentioned Kiran's name, Queen Eve's gaze shifted, encompassing Kiran, Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and Veronica. She addressed them with a sense of curiosity in her voice. "Tell me, are you the Order of Heroes?" she inquired, her eyes searching for confirmation.

Kiran nodded, a warm smile gracing their face. "Yes, Queen Eve, we are indeed the Order of Heroes," He replied with his voice filled with quiet confidence.

A look of relief washed over Queen Eve's face as she clasped her hands together. "I am deeply grateful for your presence and assistance in aiding Divine Dragon Alear in saving Firene," she expressed, her voice brimming with sincerity. "You have my heartfelt thanks."

Alfonse stepped forward, his voice firm and determined. "Queen Eve, the Order of Heroes cannot simply turn a blind eye when presented with an opportunity to help," he declared, his words laced with a sense of duty. "It is our purpose to assist those in need and protect those who cannot protect themselves."

Sharena nodded enthusiastically, her eyes shining with enthusiasm. "That's right! We're here to lend a helping hand and spread friendship throughout the realms," she added, her voice filled with optimism.

Commander Anna, always pragmatic, chimed in. "Not to mention the potential rewards and treasures that come with our endeavors," she teased, a mischievous glint in her eye.

Veronica, usually reserved, spoke up in agreement. "I may not have been a part of the Order for long, but I understand the importance of standing up for what is right," she stated, her voice carrying a newfound determination.

Queen Eve listened intently, a smile playing at the corners of her lips. "Your words fill me with hope and assurance," she replied, her voice filled with gratitude. "I am honored to have the Order of Heroes by our side."

Then, Queen Eve turns her attention to Alear, Alfred, and Celine as they listen intently to what Queen Eve has to say.

"There's also something that I should tell you," Queen Eve spoke. "The Kingdom of Firene has been given a second Emblem Ring."

"Mother, another Emblem Ring?" Celine exclaimed, her eyes widening in surprise.

"Yes, my dear," Queen Eve nodded solemnly. "The Kingdom of Firene has long kept the presence of the Ring of the Dawn Maiden a secret. It is a powerful artifact, much like Emblem Celica, but its true potential remains untapped."

Kiran's mind raced with anticipation as he listened to the conversation. He had a hunch about the kind of Emblem that might reside in the Ring of the Dawn Maiden. Alear, eager to know more, asked Queen Eve about the location of the second Emblem Ring.

"In which shrine does the Ring of the Dawn Maiden reside?" Alear inquired.

Queen Eve, her eyes filled with wisdom, replied, "The second Emblem Ring is housed in a shrine on the border of the Kingdom of Brodia."

Alfred's voice broke through the conversation, his tone filled with a mix of nostalgia and curiosity. "I remember that shrine, Mother," he said. "You took me there after Father passed away. But I never understood why you wanted me to remember that place."

Queen Eve turned her gaze towards Alfred, her expression gentle yet firm. "I wanted you to remember, Alfred, because I am preparing you to become a king one day," she replied. "That shrine holds significance for our family, and it carries the weight of our legacy."

Alfred's eyes widened with a mixture of surprise and gratitude. "Thank you, Mother," he said, his voice filled with appreciation. "I am honored that you have entrusted me with such a responsibility."

Alfred, his voice filled with determination, spoke up. "I suggest that after a day or two of rest, I should personally escort Alear, Kiran, and our allies to the shrine," he said confidently.

Celine, who had been listening intently, eagerly chimed in. "I'll join the group as well," she added, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

Queen Eve considered their proposal, her eyes scanning the determined faces of her children. After a moment of contemplation, she nodded in agreement. "Very well," she said, her voice carrying a mix of concern and authority. "You may accompany Alear and Kiran to the shrine. However, I have one condition: both of you must return alive."

Alfred and Celine exchanged glances, understanding the weight of their mother's words. They were prepared to face the dangers that lay ahead, but they also knew the importance of their safety to their family and kingdom.

Alear stepped forward, gratitude evident in her voice. "Thank you, Queen Eve," she said with sincerity. "I promise to do everything in my power to ensure that Alfred and Celine return safely."

Queen Eve nodded, her gaze softening. "I trust that you will," she replied. "May good fortune shine upon you."

Then, Queen Eve's gaze shifted towards Kiran, Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and Veronica a glimmer of curiosity in her eyes. "I would like to speak with you and the Order of Heroes in private," she said, her voice commanding attention.

Alear, Alfred, Celine, and even Kiran himself were taken aback by the unexpected request. They exchanged surprised glances, unsure of what Queen Eve had in mind.

Alfred, always the optimist, placed a reassuring hand on Kiran's back. "If Mother wants to speak to you and the rest of the Order of Heroes in private, Kiran," he said, a hint of admiration in his voice, "Consider it a great honor. She must have something important to discuss."

Celine, eager to lighten the atmosphere, chimed in with a playful smile. "Don't forget, Kiran," she said. "You still have tea with me tomorrow, right?"

Kiran couldn't help but smile at Celine's words. "Of course," he replied, gratitude lacing his voice. "I wouldn't miss our tea for anything."

Alear stepped forward, her voice filled with determination. "Kiran," She said, her tone resolute, "Alfred, Celine, and I will be waiting for you in the castle hallway while Queen Eve talks with you and the rest of the Order of Heroes."

Kiran nodded appreciatively. "Thank you, Alear," he said, gratitude lacing his words.

As Alear, Alfred, and Celine made their way out of the castle's back room, leaving Kiran, Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and Veronica alone with Queen Eve.

With the others gone, Kiran focused his attention on Queen Eve, curiosity etched on his face.

"Queen Eve, I am Kiran, the Summoner of the Order of Heroes, and this is Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and Veronica," He began as he introduced himself and his allies to Queen Eve with his voice steady, "What is it that you wish to ask from me and the Order of Heroes?"

Queen Eve's gaze rested on Kiran, a hint of curiosity flickering in her eyes. "Kiran," she began, her voice gentle yet inquisitive, "I must admit, I am quite curious about you and this Order of Heroes you command."

Alfonse, standing beside Kiran, spoke up, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Explaining who Kiran is and what the Order of Heroes represents may require some time," he said, his tone measured.

Queen Eve smiled warmly. "There is still enough time before nightfall sets in," she replied, her voice filled with patience. "Please, enlighten me."

Kiran's face lit up with a playful grin. "Seems like Celine inherited her curiosity from her mother," he remarked, a touch of amusement in his voice. "Very well, Queen Eve. we'll take turns to explain."

And so, Kiran began to weave a tale, describing the origins of the Order of Heroes, their purpose, and the bonds that united them. Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and even Veronica interjected at several points as they explained to Queen Eve what their home world, Zenith, is and what their nations, the Kingdom of Askr and the Emblian Empire, are to Queen Eve. Then, Kiran himself showed the Breidablik to Queen Eve, explaining that he could summon Heroes using the Breidablik.

"So, Kiran. You and the Order of Heroes are from another world named Zenith," Queen Eve iterated. "And using the Breidablik, you can summon Heroes from various worlds."

"That is correct, Queen Eve," Kiran confirmed.

"I see..." Queen Eve remarked. "It seems that the Breidablik and the Emblem Rings share some similarities."

"However, unlike the Emblems, which are spirits that don't have a physical form," Kiran clarified. "The Heroes that I summon are brought forth in physical form."

"Yeah, Kiran himself has summoned many Heroes back in the Kingdom of Askr!" Sharena chimed in. "And most of them are willing to defend Zenith and even here in Elyos if they are called by Kiran himself."

"A Hero is bound to Kiran under a contract," Veronica spoke. "The Hero-Summoner contract is not something to be taken lightly."

"How remarkable," Queen Eve smiled, and then she asked. "At what state can a Hero be summoned?"

"Queen Eve," Kiran answered. "A Hero can be summoned at various points in their lives. It doesn't matter if they're alive, dying, or already dead."

"As long as Kiran himself is alive, the summoned Heroes that he has formed a contract with cannot be truly killed," Commander Anna chimed in, explaining to Queen Eve. "However, even if this reverses the ravages of the battlefield, they can still feel pain."

Queen Eve fell silent as she took in what Kiran revealed about himself as the Summoner and what Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and Veronica said about the Order of Heroes. And then, Queen Eve recalled what she said to Alear about her children.

"You may accompany Alear and Kiran to the shrine. However, I have one condition: both of you must return alive."

And thus, Queen Eve had made up her mind as she stared at Kiran and the rest of the Order of Heroes.

Queen Eve spoke to Kiran, her voice filled with anticipation. "I have a request that only you, Kiran, can fulfill."

Kiran, intrigued, asked, "And what might that request be?"

"Since the Heroes you summon and form contracts with cannot be truly killed," Queen Eve smiled warmly and explained. "I would like you to summon my children, Alfred and Celine, as Heroes."

And there you have it! This is the latest chapter of Emblems and Heroes!

To all the people who offered advice in brainstorming this story, and now to this forum website, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

And here's another extra scene, a Stinger of sorts...

Meanwhile, Loki and Thorr, the Aesir goddesses from the Realm of Asgardr, stood near the entrance of the Elyos Outrealm Gate in Zenith. The two Aesir goddesses examined the Elyos Outrealm gate as it hummed with vibrant energy.

Thorr spoke, her tone carrying a sense of duty, "We are under Alfador's orders to observe the Outrealm Gate."

"Oh? You should lighten up a little, dear," Loki chimed in cheerfully. "I can feel the energies of this Outrealm Gate being at full capacity. It'd be a shame if I... tamper with it."

"Lokl, do not do something that would incriminate us," Thorr turned to Loki and said, "We are under Alfador's orders to observe this Outrealm Gate, not to tamper with it."

"It was only a jest, dear," Loki cheerfully agreed. "With the Elyos Outrealm Gate fully opened, things have gotten more interesting."

"Alfador's orders are absolute," Thorr sighed. "We must comply."

"Of course, of course," Loki smiled mischievously. "We live but to serve the great Alfador."

In an encampment hidden on the border between the Kingdom of Askr and the Emblian Empire, a male Thief approached the regal-looking woman with white hair streaked with purple. The male Thief handed a chunk of debris that he obtained from the Elyos Outrealm Gate to the regal-looking woman.

He respectfully addressed her, saying, "Shadow Director Ebony of the Curse Directive, the Elyos Outrealm Gate has fully opened, and we have successfully retrieved a fragment of the Outream Gate itself."

Ebony, the Shadow Director of the Curse Directive, replied "Thank you for your cooperation. You may return to your post."

As the Thief left her tent, Ebony drank water from her flask as she mused about the current situation of the Curse Directive.

"Ever since Letizia's death, the Curse Directive has become independent from the Emblian Empire," Ebony muttered. "Now, the Curse Directive has fallen into hard times, with even Princess Veronica trying to abolish the organization itself, in which I cannot allow."

Then, Ebony looked at her table containing the map of the Realm of Midgard and within it, the Kingdom of Askr and the Emblian Empire. As she put away the Outrealm Gate fragment into her pockets, Ebony grabbed a knife from the table and stabbed the map in the center.

"Now that my forces were able to retrieve a fragment from the Elyos Outrealm Gate, I can finally enact the next phase," Ebony mused as she dragged her knife across the map, tearing it apart into two pieces. "And not even the Kingdom of Askr and the Emblian Empire together can put a dent in my plans. I swear it as the Shadow Director of the Curse Directive."
