Coming back from the final commercial break, the Dwayne Duo heads to the speedboat. At the same time, Kitty makes a comment on the little castle, which upsets Macarthur.

"Really?" Emma asked. "You like it?"

"It's exactly what we had to make," Kitty answered.

Macarthur: Hold the sand phone. It doesn't have to be big?

"Not really," Dwayne Junior said.

Emma tells Kitty to follow the cadet's move.

"Did you have to be like a second us?" Sanders asked.

"If it keeps us in the race," Emma started answering. "Then it's worth a try."

"Didn't think that would work," Macarthur said.

"Looks like it's working so far," Kitty said.

At the speedboats, the Dwayne duo got one, but it wouldn't start. Trying to fix it found itself to be a challenge of its own.

*Interview break* Dwayne Junior: My dad tried to attach a bell to my bike once. When he was done, the wheels were gone, just gone.

Dwayne Senior: It was a Swedish bell. Very tricky instructions.

The interview break ended with Dwayne Junior confirming it being why he walked everywhere one summer.

"Swedish bell my foot," Stephanie said. "Not the best idea for building a bike."

"No kidding," Dwayne Junior said.

They finally find one and get going.

"Sweet!" Dwayne Senior said. "I just didn't want my son driving the boat too quickly."

"Kind of figured that," Dwayne Junior said.

The bloggers and ice dancers are now off to the chill zone. As for Devin and Carrie, it took a few seconds, but they started speeding off in one of the boats too.

"I love this race," Carrie said.

"What a day you guys are having," Mary said.

Then, the cadets and stepbrothers cruise off. Meanwhile, Devin and Carrie run into a problem with the engine.

"Not good," Carrie said.

"I hate it when engines malfunction like that," Ryan said.

This allows the Cadets to pass Carrie and Devin, and the Dwayne Duo to arrive at the chill zone first.

"We did it!" Dwayne Junior said.

He then hugged his dad. Everyone else clapped for them.

"We're so proud of you," Ellody said.

"That was amazing," Owen said.

Don: Unfortunately, you broke a rule when you read the travel tip before reuniting with Junior on the beach.

After a failed negotiation, the Dwayne duo got a 20 minute penalty.

"So much for that," Dwayne Junior said.

"Yes!" Kitty said.

"This opened up the door for more teams to make up some ground," Carrie said.

"Thank goodness," Crimson said.

As more teams head to the boats, the geniuses are hung on details for the castle, and the surfer dudes barely even start making the castle.

"Thanks for causing the penalty," Geoff said.

"No problem," Dwayne Senior commented. "But I'm not proud of it."

Meanwhile, it allowed the ice dancers to come in first place.

"Laugh now, ice dancers," Macarthur said. "I still have an eye on you."

The bloggers then arrive. However, because they stepped off the train instead of staying on, they too got a 20 minute penalty.

"Still worth it!" Jen said.

Owen and Noah then arrive, and they claim second place.

"Radical!" Owen said.

"We made up for lost time that day," Noah said.

"Great job," Erin commented.

The cadets show up in third place. For the bloggers and Dwayne duo, the penalty ended. The Dwayne Duo are in 4th place, and the bloggers are in 5th.

"Beyond worth it!" Tom said.

"I can't wait to go on that yacht again," Jen said. "You guys should come too."

"I'm in," Brody said.

"Same here," Geoff said.

"As am I," Carrie said.

"Me too," Emma said. "I could use some more time with my sister."

"That's so sweet," Kitty said.

6th place: Daters.

7th place: Stepbrothers.

8th place: Goths.

9th place: Sisters.

"Yeah!" Kitty said. "We live to see another day."

"Thanks for the lead, cadets," Emma said.

"No problem," Macarthur said.

2 mystery people then show up, confusing Don.

"Who are those people?" Emma asked.

"No one knows," Erin answered.

"That's just wacky," Ennui commented.

Kelly and Taylor got 10th place.

11th place: Vegans.

12th place: Adversity twins.

13th place: Rockers.

It then cuts to Carrie and Devin, who fear it's the end of the race for them.

*Interview break* Devin: So unfair that it's because of a faulty motor, not something we did wrong. We're a great team.

Carrie: We really are. *End interview break*

"You guys did forget there's still the geniuses and surfer dudes, right?" Emma asked.

"That's right," Carrie said. "We can still finish strong enough to stay in the game."

The surfer dudes' engine then malfunctions.

"You have got to be kidding me," Geoff said in frustration.

*Interview break* Brody: I never should've let myself get stuck in that shark's mouth. Now, we're gonna be eliminated because of me. That was my biggest fear.

"Maybe not," Mary said.

"Oh yeah," Ryan said. "You two never finished making that castle."

"Meanwhile," Macarthur said to Brody. "I thought sharks were your biggest fear."

"It was a joke," Brody said. "Breaking my teammates' hearts is my biggest fear." "Oh," everyone else said.

"That makes more sense," Emma said.

Geoff: Hey! We win as a team. We lose as a team. I'm not sure what I'm trying to say because I'm really disappointed right now.

"Wasn't your fault," Brody said.

Brody decided to jump start the engine himself. It works to perfection, but he gets electrocuted in the process.

"Electrocuting yourself to keep the engine going?" Miles asked. "Nobody thought that would work."

"It's working so far," Geoff said.

Carrie and Devin reach the chill zone before the surfer dudes, and it was enough to claim 14th place.

"Yes!" Carrie said while hugging Kitty. "This is the best race ever! I feel so alive."

"Guess we're not so lucky," Brody said.

Don: You are second to last a.k.a. 15th place a.k.a. Still in the race.

"Yes!" Geoff said.

"Totally rad!" Brody said. "Just wish I didn't have to electrocute myself like that."

Geoff then tried to pat Brody on the back, only to get shocked.

"How long is that gonna last?" Stephanie asked.

"I'm just lucky we survived," Geoff said.

"We're so blessed," Brody said before hugging Geoff.

"Guess we're not blessed," Mary said.

Back at the beach, Don arrives in a helicopter to tell the geniuses they have been eliminated.

Ellody: How ironic? Our strength and urban planning was also our downfall.

Mary: That just proves how flawed this show is, but we played our part.

Mary and Ellody are then seen walking off into the sunset before the credits roll in.

"So much for being the smartest of the gang," Macarthur said.

Everyone laughed.

"You got that right," Mary said.

"And yet, it's those flaws that make the race part of what it is," Erin said.

"Still worth the penalty that day," Jen said.

"I agree," Tom said.

Up next is Bjorken Telephone.
