Chapter 1
Galadriel hummed, intrigued, tilting her head slowly, watching the bubbles coming out of the palms of her hand. They weren't simply bubbles, not the ones that burst when someone touched them. They were more like flying spheres, Galadriel would say. Still, it was one of the Devil Fruits' powers. She was experimenting and trying to learn more about what it does precisely. Back at Laugh Tale, she took more time developing and training her Thunderbird Devil Fruit than the rest. The reason for such action was that once she learned to navigate and operate those strange powers.
The rest would become more accessible because she would've learned how to sync them with her body and already power. That was one of Roger's suggestions. There was simply too much for Galadriel to comprehend, and it would prove quite troublesome if she tried to learn all of the Devil Fruits she ate simultaneously. Which in itself was the task.
"I don't even know how many I ate," Galadriel muttered, playing with the bubbles in her hand. "Like sixteen...?"
Still, Galadriel learned what her Thunderbird does and how far she could go with it. Her Thunderbird Devil Fruit was a Mythical Zoan type. One of the rares there was around. Besides, turning into a sizeable eagle-type creature. Her body was composed of lighting and fog. She couldn't be touched by anything on that form since her body was made of pure black vapour. Of course, it also depended on the Haki of her enemies. But the Paramecia's ability, which came with her Devil Fruit, allowed her to control her body at will. It gave her quite the inhumane strenght and resistance.
Although Galadriel already had inhumane strenght and resistance. This simply added more to her. And also made her immune to lighting. Not that it was necessary. As a Demon Empress. The highest level of her race, on Yggdrasil. Galadriel was inherently immune to lighting and fire of all sorts. Unless it was Holy Fire.
But in her opinion, more was always welcome. So, if Galadriel were to describe this Devil Fruit, Galadriel didn't have much to say. She could transform into a bird that could shoot lighting and be engulfed in smoke. It may not sound quite impressive at first, or at least for someone like Galadriel, who saw more incredible things back at Yggdrasil.
However, Galadriel discovered more than just that. This Devil Fruit was quite powerful. Galadriel could craft a storm around her. In the very literal sense of the word. A giant, Thunder Storm. The rain, the thunder, the wind, all of it. But, in her Awaking state, Galadriel becomes the storm itself. It was a rare sensation. But, she could become pure lighting, like thunder, a bird of pure electricity, pure raw energy. And inside a thunderstorm, she was unstoppable. Which was the reason why Galadriel loved this Devil Fruit in particular.
"Awakening, such an amazing concept," Galadriel giggled. "But, I wonder, why doesn't everyone achieve it?"
Roger told her that reaching the awakening state of a Devil Fruit was a rare thing. When Galadriel asked him why that was the case. He simply shrugged. Roger simply said that having your Devil Fruit awakened was a random thing. And it could be done by doing many things or by a matter of circumstances. It was a rarity in itself.
And many people didn't even know it was possible.
Some achieve the Awakening state, the complete control of the Devil Fruit's power by pushing one's body to the maximum. Learning all one could do about the Devil Fruit itself. The experience of using it for years. Training none stop until one's body adjusts to it. However, Roger has seen many who couldn't achieve it in its totality by simply using this means.
Another theory was that sometimes, those who achieve it. Did it on their near-death experience. When they were in the death's hallways. Only then those users unlocked their true potential.
Other users could awaken their Devil Fruits quite quickly, sometimes too fast for their own good. But it wasn't a successful awakening. It was halfway there. And it could lock them in such a state, sometimes rendering them mindless. Or getting themselves killed by their own abilities they couldn't fully control.
Galadriel nodded, remembering those words. It was clear that there wasn't a specific guide for it. The Awakening of the Devil Fruits was still highly unknown and unexplored territory; everyone had different theories about it. Depending on the fruit and the user, it was clearly a different experience.
Galadriel thought that the reason she had such an easy time doing it was that. Since she wasn't human or from that world. And her body didn't need the training to adjust to the downside of the Devil Fruit itself. That may be why she could obtain her fruit's awakening state without much difficulty. She only needed to utilize her new-acquire power and learn how to operate it with her body and how it worked with her other abilities, like exploring a new Skill Tree.
That, at least, was what Galadriel thought and how she felt it.
"In anycase, it also proves that I can achieve it. I must first learn how my Devil Fruit's powers work in great detail."
Galadriel smiled, holding the bubbles in her hand. "I wonder who imagined having bubbles as a power?" She chuckled, liking the colour of her quite entertaining ability. However, Galadriel noticed that, inside the bubbles, she could manipulate things there. Air, compression, pressure, something like that. Curious, Galadriel guided one of the bubbles towards a rock. The pebble was sucked in and floated inside the bubble-like sphere. Galadriel tilted her head, noticing how the tiny little rock became big or smaller at her command. Then, she controlled the bubble inside pressure to obliterate the stone until only fine dust was left behind. Then, she compressed the dust into smaller rocks.
"Ah... I see," Galadriel nodded. "I see that, with these bubbles, everything inside them can be condensed to my will. And so the opposite. Interesting. I wonder, what else could I do with it?"
Galadriel sighed, enjoying the clear sky above her as she rode on top of that strange moving island. Or, that giant sea turtle with an island on its back. However, Galadriel quickly tilted her head, looking at the vast sea ahead of it. In the direction she was watching, she could feel someone approaching her.
"Oh, mister turtle, could you stop for a bit?" Galadriel called, as then the moving small little island stopped moving. "Thank you."
Galadriel smiled before glancing back at the horizon. "[Sixth Eye] [Greater Perseption]" Galadriel could then see everything clearly, and sense everything around her with even more detail than before. Her normal passive abilities usually allowed her to perceive more than the naked eye would. Her five senses were always cranked all the way up. Surprisingly, it didn't overwhelm her at all. Again, perhaps because she wasn't a human. Those things were simple and part of her. However, she needed to add even more power to her senses because of who was coming. Galadriel knew it wasn't a simple pirate anymore.
"He has an incredible Observation Haki," Galadriel whispered, smiling brightly. "I wonder who could it be?"
Far away, very far away. One of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. Dracule Mihawk followed the moving island with mild interest. He was summoned by the World Government, and he usually wouldn't even bother going. But now, Mihawk felt inclined to do so, just for now, to kill his boredom and because he was mainly interested in a couple of pirates he met a while ago. But as he was sailing, he felt a strong presence. Near him. A mighty aura. That piqued his interest, and he followed the trail until he saw a moving island, and on top was a woman that he recognized from the bounty.
"Galadriel, the Lunarian Queen... wanted Only Alive. Reward 320,000,000 Bellys."
Mihawk was incredibly surprised by such a reward, especially in this sea. But more, that she was wanted alive. "I wonder, what could that be the reason."
Mihawk stared before him, and while usually. One person would only see the sea ahead and nothing more for, Mihawk, the Strongest Swordsman in the world. He could see, without any problem, directly where Galadriel was. And from the looks of it. She could see him too.
"Mm, interesting."
Mihawk expressed, watching how the woman stopped the island, or whatever it was, and seemed to be as curious of him as he was of her. The woman didn't run. She waited for him. Mihawk applauded the woman's courage, and he would lie if that didn't amuse him already. So after a short while, he closed the distance between them until both met face-to-face.
It was then that Mihawk could see the woman in more detail that he had to admit a simple truth. She was beautiful. Mihawk wasn't one to gawk at people while staring at them. He did not lose his mind or act like a baboon before a stunning lady. He sometimes barely paid attention to remembering people's faces. Yet, Mihawk was still a man and could recognize and accept when a captivating woman was in front of him. And she was just that beautiful. She was definitely on the same tier as Boa Hancock, although he hated her arrogance and sometimes childlike behaviour.
"Good day," Galadriel waved curiously at him. "You've been following me for a while. May I ask why?"
Mihawk didn't sense any malice or threat coming from her voice. She just sounded incredibly intrigued by him. "You noticed. Your Observation Haki is truly above anyone else in this particular sea."
Mihawk stated as Galadriel nodded slowly. "And so do you," she replied with a slight teasing in his voice. "To what I owe this sudden peak of interest?"
Mihawk huffed, tilting his head but frowned as he inspected the woman before him. There was something, an odd sensation about her. That he couldn't be quite articulate about it. Hard to convey with words. "You're a Lunarian. I haven't seen one, just like the rest of the world."
Galadriel chuckled softly, spreading her long black wings and ensuring that the small fire on her back looked adequate. Galadriel did put some effort into looking like one of those Lunarians. "I see," she replied. "But what do I feel as if...? There's more than just asking for my autograph?"
"I was bored."
"It's that so...?"
"But I won't lie and say that... I am intrigued about how you obtained such a high bounty on the first try."
"Are you now?"
Mihawk's eyes glared at her intensely. He could feel it inside him, a sensation of this person, this woman hiding more, being more. It's been a while since he felt this drive to see just how noteworthy a person was. An addictive feeling of the unknown. "The World Government has put quite a large sum for your captivity. Alive, they want you. That in itself is already curious. That barely happens at all. Many would love to have the opportunity to capture you."
Galadriel chuckled. "I think so. But you aren't one of those people searching for gold."
"You don't know me; maybe I am," Mihawk replied as his eyes became sharper than before. "I am a pirate, after all."
"Oh, it's that so? Normally pirates have a large ship and travel in groups."
"I like doing things myself."
Galadriel raised an eyebrow as she then took her time to stare at Mihawk. Both have golden eyes and stare at each other for a few seconds, saying nothing. Only the waves crashing near them and the shadow of the clouds above them.
"You want to fight me, not to capture me," Galadriel stated, smiling amusingly. "I can see it in your face. Your eyes. Trying to measure me, aren't you?"
Mihawk now tilted his head at her, raising his eyebrow before smirking in a very minimalistic way. "That depends if there is anything to measure at all. I have faced so many weaklings and arrogant warriors before. I then do not get excited about things or people."
"Now, that's insulting," Galadriel replied, scoffing. "But, before that. What is your name?"
"Dracule Mihawk."
"Galadriel Melkor, a pleasure to meet you."
Mihawk noticed that the woman didn't know who he was. That was surprising and made him even more interested in her.
Galadriel had her own interest as well. It could be an excellent opportunity to test things out. Especially since this man looked nothing like the rest. "Can I ask you something? Do you know Armament Haki?"
Mihawk narrowed his eyes at her. "Obviously." He replied almost insulted by the question.
"Great!" Galadriel clapped her hands. "However, could we do it in a different place? I don't wish to harm my turtle friend."
Mihawk just shrugged. "Fine by me."
Galadriel turned around and looked over to the sea. "There," Galadriel pointed far away, and Mihawk could distinguish a lonely island far away. "We could fight there."
Mihawk didn't say more; he just nodded and went along. The trip was utterly silent, although the woman asked him random questions a few times. He didn't even bother to answer her. Making her scoff a bit. Once they arrived on the small island, they noticed there wasn't much there. It looked like a desertic type of island, with nothing of life. A perfect place for them.
Galadriel sighed happily, spreading her arms, trying to remove the soreness of being in a sitting position for such a long time. She then glanced at Mihawk. "Mister Mihawk, could I see your sword?" She asked.
Mihawk raised an eyebrow, quite amused that she had asked him that question. Usually, he would just ignore such a request, after all. He wasn't one to simply show his sword around. But, he indulged her. Maybe, it was because the woman amused him, and he found her intriguing that he shrugged it off.
Mihawk showed Galadriel the sword he carried with him. The famous or infamous Black Blade, Yoru. One of the Twelve Supreme Blades in the world. Galadriel inspected the sword, looking at it fascinated.
"This is a great sword," Galadriel whispered. This sword looked quite decent. A Top class Item, or even perhaps a Legacy Item. Very strong. Galadriel then put her hand on the edge of the sword. Mihawk stared, confused at what the woman was doing.
"Do not touch the edge unless you wish to lose your hand," Mihawk warned before Galadriel did just that. She squeezed the edge instead of blood pouring out like Mihawk had seen and done so many times before. Nothing of sorts came.
Mihawk looked and saw how her hand seemed to have an injury. Strange wound, like a gash, with strange dark blood, that didn't spill on the ground, before being healed immediately.
"Mm, definitely, Legacy Item... perhaps even a Relic Class Item. Very good."
Mihawk stood there, confused at the woman's words.
"You have a very outstanding blade, Mister Mihawk. Truly incredible. It can hurt me. That's impressive."
Galadriel smiled at him, but for Mihawk, it was more than just a curious scene. The fact she healed immediately from a wound like that meant that she had special abilities. Maybe a Devil Fruit that allowed her to heal her body from damage. Or something else. That lured more interest to him in this woman with large black wings. "You're truly captivating." Mihawk then smiled.
"Impressive. A cut from this blade is not something to be scoffed at," Mihawk chuckled, now staring at Galadriel intensely, which made her raise an eyebrow.
"You have my attention now," Mihawk declared. "I do hope you prove to be an interesting challenge."
Mihawk presented his word, pointing at her. Those eyes were indeed something else.
Now, Galadriel chuckled. "Challenge...? Well, let's see."
It's been approximately two hours since both started to fight. Although, it wasn't indeed a fight. A skirmish, perhaps. Galadriel was genuinely taking it all, learning, and testing all she always wanted. Galadriel felt relieved to have Mihawk as a dancing partner. And so was Mihawk. The swordsman wasn't genuinely fighting. No, but neither was Galadriel and he knew it as well. She was using her basic Yggdrasil abilities to test them out on someone who knew Armament Haki and was strong enough to test her Devil Fruits. And since, Galadriel didn't have Haki but had something close to it. [Grand Armament] and [Iron Will] those abilities were working wonders on this little testing ground of hers. Maybe, [Shooting Star] would allow me to learn Haki? I'll test it out later.
Still, Galadriel wanted to see and test a bit more.
On Mihawk's side, he felt joyful to have good practice with someone capable of containing his attacks down. But pushing back as well. Clear evidence that the Lunarian Queen wasn't just a pushover.
Mihawk has never seen attacks like that before. They were strange, weird. Was it a Devil Fruit? Or something else? Mihawk wasn't sure, but they were indeed something else.
Mihawk was incredibly fast and agile as well. The man with Hawke's eyes flew quickly around her, then with just one hand, at an abnormal speed. His sword quickly clashed with Galadriel's Arcane sword. One made out of pure Arcane energy. The clash created a powerful shockwave that caused a powerful wing to spread around them, throwing trees away.
"Nicely done," Mihawk complimented, there was pure honesty in his eyes, and Galadriel saw it as she smiled at him.
"Why, thank you."
Galadriel then used [Arcane Expansion Force II]. The pirates on the receiving end of that ability were pushed too far away. Sometimes, their weak bodies couldn't handle the pressure this ability does in close range. But Mihawk took it with no problem. He didn't fight the shockwave. He seemed to fly away with it, elegantly swinging around his sword, dissipating Galadriel's ability.
"Nicely done," Galadriel now complimented.
"Mm, thank you," Mihawk replied with an amused scoff.
It felt good to spread his muscles after such a long time. However, he wanted something more serious.
Mihawk's sword sliced the air as his attack approached Galadriel. A large greenish light, cutting things down.
"[Arcane Shield]" Her shield deflected the attack, causing the shockwave to go past her. The white-haired woman smiled as she then pointed her hand at him. "[Arcane Blast II]"
Mihawk saw the strange attack again heading towards his direction. A rather large sphere of peculiar energy. He smiled, and using his sword, he sliced the ball of light in two before the two parts collided with the sea behind him, causing a large explosion.
Galadriel hummed deeply, watching how easily Mihawk could do things like that. Clearly, the man was ahead of everyone else when it came down to swordsmanship. "You're a swordsman, right?"
Mihawk scoffed, now offended. "You mentioned it now?"
"Sorry, I am shy."
"Sure you are," Mihawk replied, amused. "The people in the seas called me... The Strongest Swordman in the World. A fitting title, I suppose."
"Truly humble," Galadriel teased.
"This title holds meaning for me. I'll wear it proudly until someone surpasses me. A challenge for myself, but for every swordsman who dared to achieve for the top."
Galadriel glanced at him, humming deeply. "You want to be defeated?"
"Never said that," Mihawk replied quickly. "But I am the one holding the title. One that everyone wishes to face and cross swords with. One day, someone will come and take it from me. And until then... I shall be this wall for everyone to climb."
Galadriel was surprised to hear that, but from what she had seen from Mihawk in the last two hours. He wasn't arrogant or truly one to believe he was invincible. Mihawk knew his powers and what he could do and was incredibly confident in his swordsmith skills. Yet he remains humble and on the look for the new age of swordsmen to come. Galadriel sees him as a man who achieved his dreams and respected his craft. Something she could admire.
That's why she decided to be more serious. Galadriel owned him that much. She has tested her skills thanks to him. Besides, she noticed that her [Arcane Sword] could not compare to Mihawk's sword. Every time he blocked her attacks, her arcane sword lost strenght. It was understandable.
[Arcane Sword] wasn't a potent ability. It helped against lower individuals, sure. And it did its job decently. But against someone like Mihawk, it wasn't cutting it.
Galadriel has quite a lot of swords. Powerful, weak, experimental gifts and a few others Galadriel bought at the Cash store on Yggdrasil. The so-called "Premium" weapons, sue her. However, Divine Class Weapons were the height of Yggdrasil's items. The strongest, only below World Items, Guild Weapons and World Champion items. Galadriel had two swords in her inventory currently that were in her opinion, the strongest ones she possesses. And also her favourite, since they held sentimental value for her.
Items like those should be quite powerful in this world. But I wonder... what about my other ones? Like World Items? Galadriel wondered, taking her time to think carefully.
Galadriel has two World Items with her. [Ouroboros] and [Demoniality]. Galadriel hunted World Items before Yggdrasil shut down. She wasted so much money and time to get them. She got so many of them, 41 in total, one for each of the members of Nazarick. Quickly reaching more than six figures for them, maybe a bit more. The reason for such a relentless pursuit? Galadriel thought that with that, her friends would come for the last day and be impressed by her achievements. A pathetic lie she told herself. However, she saved them in Nazarick's treasury and were not with her currently, besides the one she kept. [Demoniality] was an item everyone in the Demon race would love to have, and everyone who hated Demons would like to obtain it.
With that item, Galadriel Demon's attributes increased. She could also change even Racial classes and Demon-type at will or uses whatever ability of that race without downsides. And when activated, one could surpass one's level gap for a brief period. It was a glorious item. However, if one had that item and was not a Demon. It became the perfect item to eliminate them. It does the opposite. It became the ideal item for destroying Demons. It was unfair. It didn't matter if one was a Level 100 Player and was against a level 40 player. If that player had [Demoniality] and that 100-level player was of the Demon race. He or she couldn't do anything to them. No harm them or even attack them. And would be killed when that item was activated. She does remember reading the forums when that item was announced. The mayhem on the Demon player base was epic. They were all furious for such a thing to exist, including her.
But leaving that aside. Galadriel's World Champion weapon and armour wasn't one she wore all the time. No, that was her "serious" battle armour. She wore it when she was facing another player and when she was battling a high-priority enemy. However, she was going to use one of her two weapons of the Divine Class. Her two strongest swords, Galadriel used a lot during her time on Yggdrasil. [True Midnight Catastrophe Blade] and [Wrath of the Demon Linch]. Her most precious weapon. She needed the help of her most dear friends, Warrior Takemikazuchi and Nishikienrai, to make them. And Galadriel decided that Mihawk had earned to see one of them.
"Let's get a bit serious, Mister Mihawk," Galadriel whispered as Mihawk saw a strange thing like she was pulling something out of the air. Galadriel pulled. [True Midnight Catastrophe Blade], a weapon of reddish tones, like blood dripping from the edge. Everything screamed, darkness and chaos.
"What's that...?" Mihawk whispered, sensing something inside the sword. A sort of entity with a demonic soul wanting to destroy, kill, and eat. But on her hand, it settled peacefully. Answering the call of its master.
"Master Mihawk," Galadriel called him, adding the title of master to his name, a sign of respect from her. "Test my abilities and judge them yourself."
As a [Arcane Magic Warrior], Galadriel required staff and a sword to fully access her abilities; currently, only half of her skills were accessible. But she wasn't going all out. She would try and see how powerful her weapons were and how far a part of her power went in this world.
"[Master Warrior: Strenght] [Swordship Talent] [Swift feet] [Greater Endurance]."
Galadriel smiled. That should be enough. I already activate some of my others abilities. Let's see. Show me how strong you are.
"Here I come," Galadriel stated, and Mihawk stared at her with a severe incredible face. The air around him felt heavy, and the sun was blocked by Galadriel's Fruit Power.
"A thunderstorm," Mihawk whispered, but he felt something else. Her aura was heavy on him. Galadriel was glowing, her surroundings were slowly being crushed by her aura. Everything felt heavy and dark.
Conqueror Haki...? Mihawk thought before smiling I feel a tremor of excitement. It's been a while since I had a proper fight. Mihawk smiled internally. "Come... show me your power." Mihawk and Galadriel stared at each other; before their swords clashed in a blink of an eye. The moment the edges touched. The sky, earth and air splinted in two. It was time for them to take it a bit more seriously.
Mihawk smiled, and so did Galadriel. What a skirmish that small battle was. Both of them stared at the sea before them. The small island, sadly, didn't make it. Galadriel levitated above Mihawk's boat, looking down at the sword master, using her wings to keep her above the sea.
"That was a good duel, Master Mihawk," Galadriel stated with a joyful smile. She has genuinely tested a great many things and was incredibly happy.
"Mm, I'll admit. It's been a while since I have had a proper duel. Sadly the island couldn't handle a few hours more," Mihawk replied, and even he seemed pretty content. "However, next time. I would like to see more of your power."
Mihawk glanced at her, and those eyes demanded she shows what she could do. Galadriel chuckled. "And I expect the same from you, Master Mihawk."
Mihawk nodded. However, before anything, he then stared at her. "Those powers of you. Are they from a Devil Fruit?" Mihawk saw many attacks, but they were so unique that he couldn't quite grasp the concept. So curiosity was normal. Galadriel hummed, wondering what she could say, but she got a great idea. A giggle almost escaped her.
"The powers you saw... are part of who I am. They are me. They are not Devil Fruit powers."
Mihawk tilted his head upon hearing that. "A Lunarian ability?" He asked. Mihaw didn't know much or anything about that specie. So he was intrigued.
Galadriel shook her head. "No. However, I do have abilities from Devil Fruits. I have eaten... four Devil Fruits," Galadriel lied quickly, not truly saying how many she honestly ate. But that number alone made Mihawk simply stare in shock.
"How is that possible?" He muttered, stunned for the first time in a long time.
"I don't know, truly," Galadriel answered. She was telling the truth. She didn't honestly know why that was the case. "But my body can assimilate them without a problem."
"The thunderstorm, the lighting," Mihawk nodded, muttering.
"A Mythical Zoan, the Thunderbird. I also can create these bubbles," Galadriel said playfully as she showed Mihawk her abilities like a small child. "And I can transform into a Basilisk too. I think it's another Mythical Zoan. But the most powerful of all my abilities... the one is the most important..."
Galadriel glared at Mihawk with a rather severe and deadly face before pointing her finger to one of Mihawk's candles, the ones resting on his boat. Soon, it transformed into a cheesecake. "I can make everything I touch into any dessert I want!" She declared proudly. "You're lucky I didn't use it on you."
"Yes... a terrifying prospect," Mihawk drawled. Yet, he couldn't hide her shock at the fact that this woman had eaten four Devil Fruits. He knew she wasn't lying. Maybe, she was hiding more, no doubt about it. However, Mihawk truly believed what Galadriel has told him.
No wonder the World government wants her alive. He thought. "So, what are you exactly doing? What are you aiming for?" Mihawk asked then, staring at the woman before him.
"Mm... I am searching for something important," Galadriel stated.
"Are you searching for that treasure?" Mihawk questioned her. "The One Piece?" Mihawk expected her to say "yes" like many people worldwide. He wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. But Galadriel simply chuckled.
"No, the One Piece is not something I want or need. I am searching for what's precious to me, home," Galadriel smiled at him.
Mihawk nodded, taking his time to see those eyes. Those eyes were telling the truth. However, he was surprised that someone as strong as Galadriel dismissed the most wanted treasure in the world. "Not many people would say something like that," he chuckled. "Everyone wants it."
"Why would I want the One Piece when I know what it is already? I was technically born in Laugh Tale," Galadriel replied, a bit amused. Before hearing her own words. "Ah... I should have not said that."
Ah, some of Roger's behaviour stuck with me. Galadriel thought nervously. However, Mihawk just stood there, frozen in place, staring at her as if she were loony. But those eyes again told the truth.
"You... were there?" He asked, dumbfounded. "You know what the One Piece is?"
"Ah... well, yes."
They both stared at each other for a few minutes. Only a few seagulls flying above them made the silence less eerie. That was before, Mihawk started to laugh loudly. It was strange to see someone as serious as he chortles like that.
"Something funny?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Nothing," Mihawk finally stated. "Nothing at all. I didn't expect this at all. Truly, what a fun day this has been."
"Mm, I'm happy I have entertained you," Galadriel replied with a huff. "Mm, could you please keep that bit a secret? I don't want the World government to hunt me more."
Yet. Galadriel added mentally.
Mihawk smiled at her and nodded. "Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me."
Galadriel tilted her head, now curious. "Aren't you interested in knowing about Laugh Tale? You stated that you're a pirate. Don't you want to claim the One Piece?"
Mihawk shook his head. "I have no interest in it personally. However, I do find myself interested in the one who will. Destiny will find its way."
"Destiny," Galadriel hummed. "I guess that's true. Destiny surely does have a big role here."
Galadriel chuckled at the thought of it. Roger used to tell her a lot about it. Galadriel didn't know much about "destiny" or something like that. But maybe destiny brought her there. Who could say?
"I guess we'll see. Oh, Master Mihawk, don't you want me to heal you?" Galadriel asked, pointing out Mihawk's wound on his chest. It wasn't a deadly one that would genuinely harm him. So, Galadriel wondered why he wasn't showing any concern about it.
Mihawk just scoffed. "Don't worry. This is proof of our encounter. And that next time. It shall be me, the one who will make sure to draw first blood."
Galadriel grinned. "I sure hope so."
Then a sudden sound was heard across the sea. A bell, a large bell.
"What's that sound?" Mihawk wondered, looking up into the sky. "A bell?"
Galadriel then smiled. "Someone has found Skypiea and Shandora."
Someone is following your steps, Roger. Who could it be? Galadriel thought, intrigued to meet such a person in the future.
Would they be able to read your words?
Galadriel happily flew over the sea. Her turtle friend seemed to have vanished when her little duelling began. Maybe he got scared. But besides that, she was thrilled to learn that her skills served the same as Haki. They have the same reaction. Although, if she was honest, she hasn't faced a Logia user. Still, while she was flying. Galadriel saw at her rings. [Shooting Star] and [Ouroboros] were two items with immense power that could let her do and change almost anything. However, in different scales.
Galadriel flew over the sea, taking her time to think, still as she stared at her [Shooting Star] ring she wondered what could she do. "Back at Yggdrasil, there were only 200 possible wishes. There were some restrictions in place. But it was still quite a powerful and very wanted item. Still... How would it work here? And [Ouroboros] is... just too powerful to use. One of the twenty."
Galadriel sighed, thinking deeply. "What to do?"
[Ouroboros] was better and quite an unrestricted version of [Shooting Star], but she wasn't sure to use it. If the item worked like Ygdrassil, then after activated, it would disappear from her inventory. And that wasn't something she wanted to happen.
"Then it could appear somewhere in the world... and having a World Item lying around waiting to be found is not a prospect I would like to deal with." Galadriel looked at ahead of her, muttering under her breath.
"I don't think sacrificing a World Item to learn Haki is worth it. But then again, I don't know if Shooting Star would also work. Aha... what should I do?"
Galadriel hummed, wondering where she'll go head first. Galadriel saw her Log Pose and the direction ahead of her. "Let's think what I should do... I have time."
(Authors note!)
-People asked me about the other One-Shot One Piece: The Demon at the World's End. I like the idea. But if I were to make it a full history. I'll start from the beginning and focus a bit more on the year Galadriel spent with them, and expand some of the interactions among other things.
-Also, I don't know what it's called. "Bellys" or "Berrys". I mean, in the English wiki, is stated as Bellys, but it's pronounced Berrys. So, I don't know... sorry for the confusion.
-Also about the Awakening of the Devil Fruits, I tried to explain it the best I can with the information we have. I know there are so many "Fan theories" about how it works and all of that. But I don't want to dive into that. But feel free to add your theories or how you think it's achieved. Also, I am a Novel reader of Overlord, so I took the information we have from there. But also what we have on DnD and from Wiki.
See you all next update! Don't forget to visit my Tumblr, you can ask or we can chat there! I'll put an art about Galadriel's swords so check it out!
