Chapter 2
The holy land of Mary Geoise currently held a crucial meeting between the Navy officials and the Seven Warlords of the Sea. Although, for one side of the coin, on the pirate's side, such arrangements were utterly dull. Hence why only two of the Seven Warlords of the Sea bothered to attend. Don Quixote Doflamingo, and Bartholomew Kuma. Each one was ruthless, vicious and brilliant in one way. Yet, filled with arrogance and power. One of them, Doflamingo, was a clear example of this. He played around with his Devil Fruit power, forcing two marines to fight each other for his entertainment.
"Hey! Stop! What are you doing?!"
"I-I can't stop my body!"
Doflaming chuckled, half-bored and half-amused. He noticed Vice-Admiral Tsuru just sighing, too old for her to deal with such a young child. Nevertheless, he would stop soon when it bored him as well.
"Doflamingo, you bastard! This is your doing! Stop it at once!"
Doflamingo chuckled at the unknown marine's gall to demand anything from him. "Then start talking already, or I'll end this lousy get-together!" He smiled and laughed, although there was a lingering warning underneath his tone of voice. He moved his fingers more, and the marine officers soon began to pull his swords out. Those marine officers clearly don't know how to use Haki or even fight. Officers, children of highborn families who paid their way up. Doflamingo has seen so many of them. Corrupt, easily frightening and easily bought.
The real marines were out on the sea. These were stuck in offices, drinking and eating. Doflamingo hated them, arrogant, a lot of them. Even more than him. But they were entertaining enough for him to not get bored.
"Enough!"
Doflamingo then smiled at the new person arriving at the meeting. "Doflamingo, don't be a fool. Did you come here to start a war?" Sengoku, the Fleet Admiral of the Navy, spoke with a warning tone.
Doflamingo only chuckled as he left alone those two poor marines. "There, happy?"
Sengoku scoffed. "Pardon my late arrival. But at the same time, thank you for coming, scum of the sea."
"Oh, my. Listen to the big-shot talk..."
Kuma closed his bible and quietly sat down on his chair, ignoring Doflaming entirely. However, the Dressrosa king noticed something different in his colleague. Kuma looked less friendly than before. And seemed rather stiffly walking, almost as if he was in pain or if he had something on him. Not many would see those little things. But Doflamingo did, but he kept quiet about his suspicions.
"Let us begin. I don't want to spend more time with scum like you than I should. Besides, I doubt any more will come."
Sengoku stated, knowing that currently. Boa Hancock would definitely only come if she had no other choice. And that Gecko Moria and Jimbei were now off the radar and had a hard time finding them. Nevertheless, they were more pressing matters.
"Two out of six is better than I expected."
"I bet," Doflamingo replied, sitting almost mockingly on the table. "I didn't plan to come either. But my island's business is going so well... that I didn't have much to do. However, I am a bit interested in someone in particular."
Doflamingo chuckled, and Sengoku frowned deeply.
"I see. That's disconcerting to hear. Nothing is as depressing to us as a booming pirate industry," Sengoku drawled, mocking in sarcasm. "But shouldn't you should be worried? Your family doesn't seem particularly smart or capable."
Doflamingo laughed the jab at him. "You're quite the loudmouth," Doflamingo replied, twisting his fingers around. He wasn't about to clash with the Fleet Admiral. He wasn't an idiot. But he wasn't one to take insults openly against his crew members.
Thankfully for both Sengoku and Doflamingo, another person approached the meeting room. Perhaps, the last person either of them thought it would come.
"I hear some childish bickering," Mihawk exclaimed. "I thought this was a meeting between Navy officials and renowned pirates."
"Oh, my! A most unexpected man has arrived," Doflamingo replied, a bit amused to see him there. However, he soon noticed a bandage around his chest, with fresh blood lingering there. That was in itself quite the surprise, to be sure. Even Kuma, who seemed to not pay attention to anything, was taking mental notes about Mihawk's wound.
"Dracule Mihawk, you're the last person I expected here," Sengoku said, noticing Mihawk's wound.
"Mm, I am simply an onlooker. But I am interested in a certain topic to discuss," he remarked. "That's all."
Mihawk then sat down, ignoring the looks of everyone.
"My! What do we have here?! A wound?" Doflamingo practically sat in front of him. "Who was the enemy capable of injuring the Strongest Swordsman in the World?"
Mihawk just glared back at him. His eyes, those golden eyes, didn't move or close. "I found a certain person while coming here," he said, glancing at Sengoku and the rest of the Navy officers. He scoffed mentally, remembering the last words of that strange white-haired woman.
"Oh, who could that be?" Sengoku then asked.
"I met the Lunarian Queen, Galadriel."
The room stood in shock. Kuma started to pay vital attention now, and so was Doflamingo.
"You met her?!" Sengoku exclaimed as he then frowned. "Why didn't you capture her?"
Mihawk scoffed. "You mistake me, Fleet Admiral. I'm not your dog. I had no intention of capturing her for you. And besides... this wound is proof that she is not to be underestimated."
Doflaming started to laugh widely. "She took you by surprise?" He asked, licking his lips, wondering about that Lunarian's power.
"No," Mihawk replied. "We had a duel. She drew first blood. The island we fought on is no more. That's all."
"Sengoku," Tsuru then spoke. "Sit down, you old man."
Sengoku sighed. "I apologize, Tsuru. But since the Lunarian appearance, the Five Elders have been quite adamant about capturing her at all costs. But to know she is strong enough to face you... that's quite the news to take in."
Doflamingo chuckled slightly. "I do wonder, why would that be...?" He smirked teasingly. "Why would those old men want her so bad?" Doflamingo earned a frown from Sengoku.
"There is more," Mihawk added as everyone stared at him. "She has the power of Devil Fruit. A Mythical Zoan, a thunderbird and three other Devil Fruit powers."
"What?!" Everyone stared at him in shock. Even Doflamingo glared at him, stunned by what he heard.
Mihawk now sighed. Why do you want them to know that? He thought deeply as he decided to tell the things she wanted to World government to know. What are you planning? Mihawk didn't know, but a part of him found it amusing, a small part.
"That's...! That's impossible!" One of the marines exclaimed.
"No human alive has ever taken two Devil Fruits at once!"
"Are you sure about this?!"
Mihawk just glared at them. "Do you take me as a jester?" He hissed threateningly.
"W-we... no!"
"We just wanted to know..."
"That is the truth," Mihawk replied coldly. "Whether you decide to believe me or not. That's on you."
Mihawk glared at everyone in the room, pirate or not. He pretty much challenged anyone there to call him a liar. Sengoku's thoughts were in disarray, this wasn't what he expected. He had no reason to distrust, Mihawk's words. Maybe, if he were just another pirate scum, he would have thought twice before believing in anything he said. But, Mihawk had a good reputation for being direct and open with his thoughts. Tsuru glanced at him, and Sengoku sighed deeply.
"I believe you," Sengoku quickly replied. He sat down and pondered about what to do. "Do you know... why? How is she able to... have multiple Devil Fruits?" He asked slowly.
Mihawk hummed. "Your guess is as good as mine. But... it's something to do with her. Her body seemed to take in those Devil Fruits without a problem. She could eat as many Devil Fruits as she desired without dying. She is not normal. I don't know if it is because she is a Lunarian or a special type of Lunarian."
"That's... a lot to take in," Sengoku whispered. "Never in the history of our world... there's have been a user with more than one Devil Fruit."
Doflamingo started to chuckle, but it wasn't the tiny chortle he did. No, it was a huge laugh. "Marvellous! Truly incredible!" Doflamingo exclaimed with utter joy.
"I don't know if I see this as joyful," Tsuru whispered to Sengoku.
"Mihawk, do you think she is searching for more Devil Fruits to eat?" Sengoku asked worriedly.
"I don't know... she didn't look particularly interested in it."
Mihawk said, remembering when he asked her if she would eat more. She made a disgusting face, telling him she had no intention of doing that any time soon, however, for the looks of it. Galadriel wanted to avoid such evil fruits, no doubt.
"However, those Devil Fruit's power isn't what makes her powerful," Mihawk said. "Her abilities aren't like anything I have seen before. They aren't normal."
"Normal? What do you mean by not normal?" Sengoku asked for more information.
"Besides the power of the Devil Fruits, she ate. She held more than just that," Mihawk's eyes told the truth from someone who saw it first-hand. Those strange circles, her abnormal power. Those things she could do were something he had never seen across the sea, and he had sailed for a long time. "The best way I can describe her... she can throw stars and create small spheres of light, even shifting reality with her hands. She is capable of destroying an island. But that's just what I saw from our small duel. Her Haki is mighty. If you wish to capture her, Sengoku. You should send an admiral and many galleons."
There, I said it. I hope you're happy with this, Galadriel... Melkor. Mihawk thought, almost smiling, wondering what that woman would do now.
Sengoku and the rest just sat there, deep in silence.
"Mihawk," Tsuru glanced at him. "What can you tell us about her when you meet her? What type of person is she?"
Mihawk hummed deeply. "From what I saw in my short time meeting her. The Lunarian is not someone who is looking for a fight. Unless threatened, she is happy to avoid fighting. She's quite cordial and calm."
"That does bring a bit of calm," Sengoku sighed. "Although, that makes me wonder, why did she kill those pirates?"
"Who knows, maybe they tried to attack her," Mihawk shrugged Sengoku's concern off.
"That could be," Sengoku whispered. "She is alone?"
Mihawk nodded slowly. And that did make him remember how she seemed pretty lonely. There was something melancholy around her. It was hard to say. But it made him feel quite glum for her. And Mihawk didn't know why.
"She didn't call herself a pirate. And has no crew. So, yes, she is by herself."
Sengoku hummed, glancing at Tsuru, who nodded at him. "Thank you for the information, Mihawk."
Mihawk wondered what Sengoku was thinking, but he truly believed that Galadriel had a pretty good idea of what the World Government wanted with her. But what was it? That intrigued him. And for the looks of it. Mihawk wasn't the only one thinking about the Lunarian Queen. Doflamingo and Kuma didn't show it. But those two were thinking about their own goals.
"My, my, I have heard some interesting things."
Soon, everyone stared at the balcony, where a strange man was standing.
"Well, I supposed this little meeting proved to more of what my captain thought," the man chuckled, dancing to the rhythm of his thoughts. "He is going to be quite pleased about this."
"Who... who are you?"
"What are you doing here?"
The man smiled. "My name is Laffitte, and I come here... to join you all in this meeting."
Laffitte grinned as he stared at them all. "If that's possible."
Far away, Galadriel sneezed loudly as she wondered who could be talking about her. "Um, I didn't know I could sneeze," she muttered, confounded. "Well, anyway."
Galadriel kept on flying around and started to get hungry. It wasn't that she was physically hungry or that she needed. It was more of her mind just trying to do something. Maybe, pretending that food was something she still needed. A part of her humanity still clinging to her demonic soul. Or it could be that Galadriel just wanted to eat. But then she looked down and saw a ship near an island, where a small town was nearby. From the looks of it. The island was small, and pretty far away from any other of the big islands. The ship itself wasn't truly threatening to look at, or big enough to hold hundreds of men. However, Galadriel could smell food from where she was flying.
"Ah, well, the Log Pose points there, so! Maybe there's food there!" Galadriel smiled. It's been a while since she visited a town. Watching the blue sea could be tiresome, and while it was indeed beautiful. Galadriel wanted to see what the world had to offer.
"I'll ask if they could give me something to eat!" Galadriel exclaimed happily. "I'm pretty; give me food!"
Galadriel flew down, hoping that she'll meet friendly people.
There, on the island's shore, a group of pirates began their preparation to attack the nearby town. A pirate with a red nose amongst them seemed to scoff awkwardly.
"Listen, your bastards! There's a town ahead of us! I want you to show me some guts!" Buggy, the Star Clown, exclaimed as his crew all screamed loudly for him.
"Are, captain Buggy!"
Buggy hummed smugly. "Gyahahah! Now...! Let's prepare our attack! And show the Grand Line the power of Buggy!"
"Captain Buggy! Captain Buggy!"
"Say my name!"
"Buggy! Buggy! Buggy!"
"Gyahahaha! That's right, I am Buggy, the strongest pirate of East Blue! Gyahahaha!"
"Captain Buggy! Captain Buggy!"
Everyone was chanting and didn't seem to notice Galadriel among them, eating a large piece of pork. She just landed and started to eat, they pretty much ignored her presence, which was weird and a bit insulting.
"You hear me?! We are going to make sure to start my legend here! Gyahahaha!" Buggy exclaimed loudly as his crew all started to chant his name. Galadriel just stood there, watching how everyone ignored her. They truly were bonding with their strange-looking captain. Yet, they also seemed quite, anxious about the whole thing. Why would that be? Galadriel wondered, curiously as she didn't think these particular pirates were smart enough to realize that some of the inhabitants of the small island already send a help signal to the Navy. They didn't see those two townspeople spying on them...? Ah... I think they were too busy screaming their captain's name to notice they were very loud. Like really, this island is small... you sneeze on one side of the island and you can be heard on the other side. Are these just idiots? Galadriel hummed, taking big bites of the quite delicious meat they cooked.
"Mm, do you have more of this?" Galadriel asked gently to one of the pirates who looked like a sheep or something like that. He did seem to have an animal pet.
"Oh, yeah, is there; please take as much as you want," the sheep-dressed man stated before returning to the chant.
"Ah, thank you," Galadriel replied, smiling surprised. "You're so kind! Stupid... but kind!"
Galadriel beamed, eating her heart out while staring at the quite jovial crew of pirates.
"You hear me?! Let's rob them of all!" Buggy yelled as his body started to separate randomly and fly around. Galadriel saw it and gave a small "Oh!" as she watched arms and legs fly around. Buggy's crew kept chanting, and Galadriel felt like joining because, well, Galadriel didn't know. She thought it was fun. So, behind them, with a piece of chop pork in her hand started to chant. "Buggy! Buggy!"
"What is my name?!"
"Buggy! Buggy!" The crew exclaimed proudly. "Yes... that's right... you're Buggy, whoo!" Galadriel added during the chant.
"Yeah...!" Buggy laughed loudly, before looking at the woman who he didn't recognize. "Uh...? Who are you?"
Then, suddenly, everyone stared at her. One by one kept turning back at the strange, incredible, beautiful girl with long black wings and a piece of pork in her mouth chanting their captain's name.
"Uh...?" Everyone looked at her.
"Uh...?" Galadriel replied, staring back while taking small bites.
"Uh...?"
"Mm... hello."
"Who the hell are you?!" Everyone yelled stunned.
"I am new!"
"The hell you are!"
The crew exclaimed back, as Galadriel kept on eating, unbothered by their reaction.
"Stop eating!"
Buggy growled at the woman as he then flew over her. "You...! Who are you?!" He growled. His face was almost a few centimetres away from Galadriel, who tilted her head at the strange clown-like pirate. She stared at that red nose and couldn't help but squeeze it slightly.
"Oh, it's so soft!" Galadriel said, amazed by Buggy's nose. Everyone in the crew stared at her like a madwoman or a dead woman. Yet, Galadriel kept squeezing that nose gently, like a plush toy.
"She's dead..."
"Captain Buggy is going to kill her!"
The crew stated, ready to see that poor woman meet her face.
"You...!" Buggy's anger kept rising to levels he hadn't felt in such a long time, not since meeting that Straw-hat. "I'll kill you...!"
Buggy was ready to explode and show the woman she was installing with such behaviour. But soon enough, Galadriel smiled at him with the most beautiful and gentle smile Buggy had ever seen.
"It's such a cute nose, it suits you so well," Galadriel stated with a slight and very honest and gentle voice. The softness of her voice and how she gently smiled at him, could break any men's heart, since Galadriel was that beautiful, she could easily get away with anything she wanted. "You're so lucky." She added holding that bright and angelic smile.
Everyone stared at her for a few seconds. Needing to figure out what to say or think. They thought, that Buggy, their captain would kill the woman who dared to insult him in such a fashion. After all, Buggy wasn't one to forgive such a sin. That was until they saw their captain on his knees, crying his soul out.
"N-no one has ever...! No one has ever called my nose cute before!" Buggy cried loudly, and his crew could only stare at the scene, quite stunned. Years of people making fun of him. The torment he endured at the hands of someone like Shanks and more who looked down on him. Never in his life has someone looked at him with so much kindness. Maybe, only his captain when he was younger. But it was a sore point for him. Buggy, the Great, couldn't hold it in. Such gentle people do exist in this world. That's why he cried. Like a man would, after finally being told their imperfections makes them perfect. "This-! This is a man's pride! Whuaaaaah!" Buggy cried loudly.
Galadriel feeling bad started to pat his back.
"It must have been rough. Sorry," Galadriel gently patted his back, remembering how one of her old guildmates had a rather long nose and was incredibly self-conscious about it. He used to tell her how much bullying he had endured. No one deserved that type of bullying. That's why she felt terrible about the pathetic clown pirate.
"You don't know the half of it!" Buggy cried loudly. However, he suddenly snapped back to reality, remembering the strange woman.
"Y-you, who are you?! How dare you try to seduce me?!" Buggy yelled, as his entire crew just glared at him.
"She was not, oi!" They yelled quickly.
But one of them, the only other woman currently there. Picked the Bounty portrait she picked a while ago and saw the picture there.
"She!" Alvida whispered, pointing at her. "Buggy, look!"
Then Buggy looked at the wanted poster and had a small heart attack. "W-what?!"
All of the Buggy's crew stared at the poster and had the same reaction.
"320.000.000 Berrys!" They exclaimed loudly.
"Oh, so you have the wanted poster," Galadriel hummed as she took another piece of meat, much to their annoyance. "Don't I look good there?"
"Stop eating our food!"
Galadriel decided it was common courtesy to let them know. She wasn't one to search for troubles. Besides, she could feel that these pirates were not a threat to her. They were amusing, and that's good in her book.
"Don't worry... I am..." Then Galadriel realized something. "Wait... you said your name was Buggy...?" She muttered frowning deeply before realizing where she heard that name before.
Galadriel gasped loudly. "You're Buggy! One of Roger's apprentices!" She exclaimed, and soon, Buggy grew pale. He looked stunned as he quickly turned around and saw how his crew mates weren't really putting one and one together.
"Roger?"
"Who... Roger?"
Galadriel then smiled. "Well, Gold-" Buggy quickly shushed her frantically before she could finish. Panic was written all over his face.
"Shh! Shh! Don't say it!" Buggy said frenetically. He didn't know how or why this woman knew that particular information. But he honestly didn't want it to be spread around.
"Why?" Galadriel muttered while moving Buggy's hand our her face.
"F-follow me!" Buggy quickly took her far away from the rest, who stared at them, confused.
"Where did you learn that?!" Buggy hissed. He kept that part of his life a secret, not wanting to get higher forces to search for him. So, he was terrified of this unknown woman knowing such a thing.
Galadriel tilted her head, wondering why he was so upset about it. Ah, should I tell him? If I remember correctly, he wasn't there at the end. Galadriel hummed before smiling.
"I can't say much... and if from what Roger told me it was true. Then, this knowledge would be something you surely don't want to know."
Buggy then just stared at her, confused. "Captain... Roger?" He honestly didn't know what to think of this, yet he had been a pirate for a long time. Buggy knew when to see a liar, and Galadriel didn't look like one.
"How...?" He asked.
"Let's say... I met him a while ago," Galadriel smiled at him.
The Buggy pirates needed to learn what Buggy and Galadriel spoke about. It was a short conversation, one that Buggy quickly tried to evade. They only heard a loud scream of horror from their captain.
"Gyaa! Idiot, don't tell me about it! I don't want to die!"
Then, Galadriel simply chuckled as she waved goodbyes, flying away. Not before taking a bit more of their food.
"Captain," Alvida approached him. "You allowed her to leave... why is that?"
Buggy growled and sighed. "Enough! This is my decision! She's more trouble than she worth!"
"This is the same situation we faced when we met Whitebeard's second division commander, Ace," Buggy whispered. "This is way above our leagues."
Buggy may be a coward, liar and quite a self-centred individual. Yet, he wasn't a fool. He knew that the Lunarian would bring him more troubles than he wanted to deal with. Buggy didn't even want to know how she talked with her deceased captain. But, wondered. "What is she going to do?" He muttered as he watched fly away.
"Hopefully, this is the last time I see her," he muttered before suddenly a giant cannonball landed nearby.
"Captain Buggy! Marine ships are coming!"
"Everyone for themselves!" Buggy yelled as everyone ran in different directions.
He definitely was a true mastermind. And it won't be the last time Buggy met her at all.
In the New World, a certain pirate stared down at her son. Big Mom, one of the Four Emperors of the Sea, beamed happily. Staring at the bounty of the new-upcoming member of her crew, or that's what she thought.
"Mama! Ma! haha!" Big Mom laughed. "A Lunarian, here! And a Queen, at that. I wonder what type of secrets she knows."
Big Mom's obsession with creating a utopia where every race would live happily in complete harmony never ceases to be her main goal, that's the reason why Totto Land exist in the first place. She had almost all of the tribes in her land. Almost all. Two races elude her. The giants despised her for her wrongdoings many decades ago. Regrettably, but she still hopes. they'll forgive her one day. Yet, the other specie lacking in her dreamland was the Lunarians. And in the past, she only knew of one. Kaido's right hand, King.
Big Mom tried hard to recruit him, but King was loyal to Kaido. She could respect that. King was, after all, a strong pirate. But hiding her jealousy was hard. Big Mom wanted her own Lunarian but more importantly, she wanted to know, if this particular Lunarian knew anything about the One Piece or the Poneglyph. However, Big Mom's thought began to wonder about something else.
"I wonder," Big Mom scratched her chin. "King and the Lunarian Queen are the only two Lunarians left. It should be normal... for them to meet. If they do... wouldn't they want to bring more Lunarians to the world?"
Big Mon allowed her mind to wonder about the possibilities. Then, she smirked widely before being interrupted by her oldest.
"Mama! We are prepared for the travel! Sluuuurp~" Perospero stated with his usual smirk.
"Good, Perospero, good!" Big Mom replied, smiling. "Remember, we are trying to recruit her, not kill her."
Big Mom warned, knowing how far in between those words could possibly be taken. If Big Mom could go herself, she would. However, she felt it wasn't necessary or something she needed to do. Besides, if she does move, the Navy would follow. And she didn't want to leave Totto Land unprotected.
"Don't worry, mama! I'll make sure to bring her to you, sluuurp~!"
Big Mom smiled, but soon, arriving with grave news, one of her children ran towards her. "Mama! Mama!" The son yelled, almost without breath.
"Uh, what is it, Mont-d'Or?"
"It's... We have heard the news that Kaido's ships are also preparing to travel to Paradise!"
"What?!" Big Mom exclaimed loudly, confused for a few seconds before realizing what was happening. "Bring me a Den Den Mushi now!" The Queen of Totto Land had to move fast. If things were going as she predicted, Kaido had his own agenda to fill. And she was not going to let him beat her to it.
The Navy became agitated when their intelligence network picked up an open transmission between powerful foes. Two Emperors of the Sea, Big Mom and Kaido, had their discussion open to the public. They seemed to care too little that the Nayy may be hearing them. In fact, they wanted people to listen to them talking about that topic. A threat, maybe, for everyone who dared to stop them.
"{Kaido! I know what you are doing! Don't dare to think, I don't see it! That Lunarian is going to be part of my crew. Stay away from her!}."
The poor marines hearing that conversation were utterly terrified of what they were hearing. Some have never heard one of the Emperors of the Sea speak. Listening to two of the most wanted and powerful criminals was a foreign concept for some, especially youngsters. But the veterans there, hearing the conversation, knew it was something they must notify immediately.
"Alarm Fleet Admiral Sengoku!" One of them yelled as he glanced back at the Den Den Mushi.
"{Stay away from the Lunarian!}." Big Mom stated, cackling, while an annoyed Kaido reply was heard across the room.
"{It's this a joke? I refuse!}"
"{This doesn't concern you, Kaido. King is on your side, so you can let this one slide. And I'd like to know much about this Lunarian Queen. Especially where did she come from and what she knows.}"
"{Linlin, I'm warning you, stay away from this. King and I have been waiting for this for a long time. I am not going to let you do as you want!}"
"{Well, do as you want. You've always been a pretty stubborn man. Yet, let me warn you... that Lunarian is going to be mine!}"
"{Linlin! If you continue with this, I'll march towards Totto Land and kill you!}"
"{Mama ma! You're welcome to try!}."
Those bits of news quickly reached the Five Elders, who could feel a storm slowly forming across the seas.
"Big Mom and Kaido. They are willing to kill each other just to reach the Lunarian first. That's not what I expected to happen."
"I dread the thought of what will happen once they realize she ate four Devil Fruits. That on itself is already worrying."
"Never in history such a thing has occurred. This is the first time. If we aren't careful, the Lunarian could disrupt the balance of the world."
"The balance is already disrupted. A Lunarian appearing after such a long time... we let King go because if we had dared to go after him, it would have meant war against Kaido. If we let her be captured by either Big Mom or Kaido. It would mean a strain of new horrible compromises for us."
The Five Elders were put into a position where they couldn't allow the Lunarian woman to leave to either side. It would be disastrous if it did happen, especially since everything surrounding her was hard to figure out. It was a mystery. The fact that a Lunarian arrived out of nowhere with the power of four Devil Fruits and could consume more if she chose. But holding the ability to bring down and create stars out of her hands made the Five Elders nervous. They didn't doubt Dracule Mihawk's testimony, and neither believed he was lying just to mess with them.
No, everything was too outrageous for it to be a lie.
"The only saving grace is that she doesn't seem particularly violent," one of them added.
"For now, that is," another replied. "I'm more concerned about what else The Lunarian is hiding."
"We searched for them everywhen and found nothing of the Ancient Tribe. But now... after so long one appeared. We have sections of the Cipher Pool excavating information about her wherever they can find it. But they had not found a trace of where she came from. It's like... she simply pop out into existence."
"Her powers... are we sure they aren't just another Devil fruit?" One of them asked nervously.
"I doubt it. That ability... it's unique... I believe. We must ask him how we should proceed. We must beg our king for direction."
The Five Elders stared at each other for a few minutes. "If she is indeed one of them. Then, everything the World Government stand for is in jeopardy."
"The more reason we must ensure she is captured at any cost."
"So be it."
The Five Elders said, knowing there wasn't a way out of their predicament. The World Government. The Empty Throne. It must keep going. All for the sake of the King of the World. The one ruling behind closed doors, above everyone else. Unmatched and unchallenged. Yet, in his secluded palace. Where only some people were allowed to enter. That man stared at the picture of the Lunarian. Those eyes showed nothing but a mysterious spark of curiosity. He then glanced and watched another photo he had of a baby with blue hair, a child from a betrayer. Then those eyes became sharp as daggers.
Soon, he would get what he wished for.
Far away, Galadriel once again sneezed loudly.
"Shiii!" Galadriel looked around, annoyed. "Mm, people are talking about me. Or, what were Yamaiko's words? Only idiots get colds?" Galadriel sniffed, remembering the words of her old friend and teacher. Still, she paid no attention to it. She was pretty busy, just looking around the small island town. Behaving like an ordinary tourist. Of course, since her bounty was extensive, she wore a long cloak and avoided showing herself too much. Not that Galadriel was afraid of bounty hunters of anything of sorts. Galadriel just wanted to have enjoyed her day, looking around, eating and relaxing on the beaches.
"Sometimes, it is good to stop worrying and enjoy life," Galadriel giggled slightly as she took a bite of the barbeque stick she bought recently. "So good!"
Truly humorous to think about how the entire world was currently losing their collective minds and plotting and going to war with each other while Galadriel seemed to enjoy her time on a tropical island eating delicious food and just acting like a tourist.
Galadriel then hummed slightly. Then, she walked among the people who seemed to ignore the mysterious cloaked person strolling next to them. She heard something coming out of a bar or a restaurant.
"Mm?" Galadriel's curiosity got the best of her. She entered the place and immediately sensed two pirates sitting in different locations. One far on the left corner and the other one on the right corner. "My, my."
Galadriel saw a pink-haired girl eating her soul out in the most unflattering way possible.
"I want more Pizza! Bring me more!" The woman yelled, as her crew seemed to try to keep her calm.
"Captain, please, don't bring more attention to us!"
"Shut up! Bring me more food!"
Galadriel chuckled, amused at the young pirate woman, who seemed to not care about anything else. "That's quite the appetize," she smiled, sitting before the bartender on the bar.
"Good day," the bartender waved. "Sorry for the disturbance about the pirates."
Galadriel waved those concerns away. "Don't be. As long they don't cause trouble, right?"
"I guess that's right," the bartender sighed. "What can I get you? Beer? Ale? Sake? Whiskey?"
"Mm, apple juice, please, whatever your house speciality is," Galadriel said, paying up front. Noticing how the other pirate sitting on the other side of the room studied her with his eyes. Interesting. Wait... is that a bear? Galadriel thought, amused.
The bartender looked amused when she asked for apple juice but simply nodded. "Alright, apple juice and chicken stew coming right on."
Galadriel hummed a song while keeping her ears sharp. The pink-haired girl kept eating, but she had slowed the pace and was currently staring at her, for the looks of it. That pirate was experienced and savvy. She noticed right away something wrong and out of place.
Mm, those two are definitely different types of pirates. Galadriel smiled, looking happy at the bartender who brought her drink and food.
"Here it is. Please enjoy."
"Thank you."
Galadriel enjoyed her meal and drink while wondering what those two were doing or trying to do. However, before any of that came to pass. Suddenly, a group of pirates burst into the bar. Loud and without scrupulous, demanding, wanting and doing whatever they wanted. A good representation of the low of society.
"Hey, this looks like a good island," one of the pirates commented. "They have nice food."
"Yeah, that's true. Hey! Bartender, give me your best!"
The leader resembled a strange tiger or something strange. Galadriel didn't pay too much attention and ignored him and the rest.
Ah, this island is a hot spot for pirates. Galadriel hummed slowly, eating the quite delicious chicken stew.
But survival instincts didn't seem to be on the side of the pirates, who slowly noticed the strange cloaked woman, ignoring them and looking quite happy to drink her juice. Galadriel's cloak may cover her body, but her curves were still quite visible. So it let those pirates know that a gorgeous woman was next to them.
"Hey! Pretty lady!" One pirate said, slowly approaching her and sitting next to her. "Why are you hiding under that robe? C'mon, let me see that pretty face of yours."
Galadriel, who was ignoring them, kept on eating. That annoyed the pirate for what it looked like.
"Hey!" The pirate yelled angrily. "Look at me when I am talking to you!"
Galadriel sighed, annoyed that she couldn't finish her meal, but she wasn't someone who enjoyed being touched by others. But decided to take a positive direction and let some bubbles appear out of her hands. A good test for one of her Devil Fruit abilities.
"Uh, what's this?"
Galadriel beamed under her cloak as some of those idiots allowed themselves to be sucked by those flying globes.
"H-Hey?! What's this?!"
"Let me out! Let me out, I say!"
Galadriel turned around, facing the poor soul trapped inside her bubbles, while the lucky few who remained free stared, afraid and confused. Since they couldn't free their crew mates, no matter how much they shoot those bubbles, or used their swords. Nothing had any effect on Galadriel's bubble. Galadriel tilted her head, watching both the pink-haired woman and the other pirate with tattoos on his knuckles. They were watching everything with perceptive eyes. So, she decided to introduce herself.
There's something... I wonder.
Galadriel took her cloak and showed her black wings. That was an easy giveaway of who she was. Not that it was needed. They knew who she was without her saying a word. "Sorry, this going to be quite graphic."
Galadriel announced, smiling when she then clutched her hand, causing the pressure inside one of the bubbles to increase. The sound of bones crushing was oddly unnerving.
The bubbles, whose size was big enough to hold an adult male, were now the size of a marble. Galadriel tilted her head, watching the many tiny bubbles of red colour. Before bursting them. The blood was so condensed that it left behind a single blood drip.
The pirates, whose friends perished in the most brutal way possible, just stared, stunned, shocked. Before snapping back from whatever nightmare they just dreamt. Soon enough, they all found themselves attacking Galadriel, who stood still, unbothered by their attacks.
"I see, so that's what happens when you compress a living being. Mm, I wonder..."
Galadriel hummed, deep in thought. The pirate's swords went through her like they were fighting a cloud itself. The reason for that was simple. Galadriel discovered her logia form made for the first layer of defence, meaning that if one were to attack her and didn't know Haki. It would go through her without a problem. But if they knew Haki, then they'll meet her natural defences. Her passive skills, rings, armour, physical defences and magic defences, among whatever ability she had, would nullify any damage towards her.
But Galadriel also learned that even if they knew Haki, but weren't strong enough to hurt her. If they weren't on her "level" or even near it, so to speak. Their attacks would bounce back as if they were hitting a wall, doing no damage towards her. Galadriel tested out with Mihawk by allowing him to harm her. His Haki and sword were enough to hurt her, which surprised her. Meaning that Mihawk was above the 50-level threshold. Of course, It didn't mean, Mihawk was level 50, it just that he was above that tier, and had the capabilities to penetrate her passive skills. Galadriel was unsure of how strong Mihawk was since their little fight was pretty much a testing ground for both of them. He was testing her out, and Galadriel was doing the same to him. Making their next encounter quite exciting for Galadriel.
Although Galadriel wondered what would've happened if she had used one of her armours and most powerful items. Galadriel fought Mihawk with what she had on, which was only basic items and mid-range level armour and only her passive skills. Yet, perhaps next time, they'll fight more seriously in a place where it would hold for longer than a few hours and truly test how far can she go with only basic items.
An experiment for another time.
Galadriel felt content with that information, but there was yet a lot to learn and discover.
"Logia?! But... what were those bubbles?!"
"Hey! What are you?!"
Galadriel returned from her dream state and stared at the pirate crew leaving. "Ah... sorry, I was deep in thought."
Galadriel then raised her hand. "[Arcane Light]" A beam of light appeared from her hand, killing every pirate standing before her. A seemingly quick and painless death for all intent and purpose. Perhaps, something those types of people didn't deserve. It didn't matter. They were dead now.
Galadriel then sighed, looking at the quite shocked and traumatize spectators.
"I apologize for the mess," Galadriel stated before glancing at the room. "You two... have been looking at me for a while. I wonder what the reason is?"
Galadriel's black wings were quite large when spread wide open.
"May I know your names?"
The pink-haired pirate smiled, bitting a piece of meat, although she was nervous. The same could be said about the other person, who looked at the woman with black wings and knew immediately. She was above their level.
"Jewelry Bonney."
"Trafalgar... Water Law."
Galadriel tilted her head, watching them. "Mm, please to meet you."
