Chapter 3
Jewelry Bonney and Trafalgar Law stared at each other nervously as Galadriel ate her chicken stew without much problem. The three sat at the same table for an unknown reason. It may be because Galadriel asked them to accompany her since she was curious about them. Galadriel had a good eye for people and immediately saw that these pirate captains weren't just like the rest. There was uniqueness in them, and more importantly. Determination. One that she noticed the moment they spoke to her.
"So, you came from South Blue, and you from North Blue?" Galadriel asked, eating her chicken stew, with happiness. "That's quite the voyage."
Trafalgar raised an eyebrow, wondering why he bothered to sit beside the Lunarian. Perhaps, it was his curiosity speaking for him. Maybe his need to learn more about the world forced him to approach her. Who could say? Nevertheless, Bonney and Trafalgar were shocked and intrigued by the Lunarian's powers. They weren't ordinary at all. Especially for it to be a Devil Fruit. Or could it be that it wasn't a Devil Fruit?
"You could say that," Trafalgar muttered back, leaning on his chair, while Bonney continued to eat her suspicions away. "Although, I am more intrigued about where you came from, honestly."
Galadriel smiled at him almost teasingly. "Are you now?"
Bonney swallowed a bit piece of chicken before staring directly towards her. "Your bounty... it's pretty high, especially for it to be first. What did you do to get one so big? Especially since they want you only alive."
Bonney's eyes were sharp, and Galadriel could see it. "Mm, the World Government is obsessed with me for certain things."
"Oh, what could that be?" Trafalgar asked.
"If I were to tell you," Galadriel warned slightly. "You'll be hunted down and killed. I doubt this is what you two would like so soon."
The tension came down on them quickly. Those eyes of Galadriel felt quite stern for rookies like them. "It's too early for either of you to know this. Where I came from, or my power," Galadriel said, giggling at their expressions, helping the tension to leave slowly.
"It's that soo," Trafalgar muttered, deciding it was for the best if he did not ask more from her. "Then is fine."
Trafalgar knew when to stop. For now, it was better not to bite more of what he could chew. He has his own goals for the future, after all. Having the World government over him would be quite a nuisance at this stage.
"Mmph!" Bonney scoffed, a bit childlike. "I'm not scared of no marine!" The Big Eater kept eating, wanting to feel less intimidated by her. However, Bonney understood something, and it was that, currently. The Lunarian Queen was ahead of them in terms of power and knowledge. What does the Lunarian know that they didn't? Why was the World government so focused on capturing her so much? Where did she come from? Those questions elude her. And discouraged her from learning more. Nevertheless, part of Bonney knew that Galadriel wasn't threatening them or trying to become their enemy.
Galadriel seemed mildly curious about them. Still, the pink-haired woman had to be strong in front of potential rivals.
"As long you don't stand in my way, I'll leave you alive!" Bonney exclaimed, carrying a big ego. "And that goes for you too, Trafalgar Law! I'll let you and your crew leave this little island unscathed!"
Trafalgar just scoffed, amused by the pink-haired woman's comment. "Jewelry Bonney, the Merciful. Thank you for your compassion," he replied, his voice dripping with sarcasm. Earning a glare from Bonney.
"Keep at it! I'll kick your ass and that dog of yours!" She yelled.
"I'm a panda," the panda replied quickly.
"Shut the hell up! You whatever the hell you're!"
"Sorry!" The panda replied, apologizing quickly.
Trafalgar just raised an eyebrow.
"From what I've seen, you're only good at eating, woman, and nothing more," Trafalgar drawled, unimpressed.
"Eh?!" Bonney exclaimed loudly, putting the fork down. "Alright, you punk! You wanna fight?! Eh?! Let's go!"
"Mmph," Trafalgar scoffed. "Not interested in fighting with the likes of you."
Bonney saw red as she glared back at him. "The likes of you?! What does that suppose to mean?! Eh?!" The pink-haired girl looked rather aggravated by the whole chat.
Trafalgar just leaned back on his chair, almost teasingly smirking at her. "If I had to explain it to you... then just prove my point."
"You bastard...! You pirate-looking hobo!" Bonney yelled, incredibly furious.
While both were throwing snarky remarks at each other, the Lunarian stared back at them, incredibly entertained by the whole thing. Galadriel leaned forward and cleaned a bit of food from Bonney's cheek, which seemed to take the pink-haired pirate by surprise.
"He-hey, what..." Bonney muttered, confused and slightly blushing.
Galadriel chuckled at the exchange. "I'll make sure to remember both of your names." Galadriel smiled at them as both pirates stopped fighting to stare at her. Galadriel then pointed her finger at two empty cups before they turned into a cheesecake.
"Here, a farewell gift," Galadriel said, standing up from her chair. "Hopefully, we'll see each other soon. Take care, Jewelry Bonney and Trafalgar Law," Galadriel said, glancing at both of them.
Galadriel smiled before taking off to the next island. Bonney and Trafalgar only saw the mysterious woman depart, leaving behind many questions. It was a strange encounter that took place in such a vast sea. One that both of them would remember.
"Very interesting," Trafalgar muttered, watching the Lunarian fly away. "I wonder... if she suspected of me?"
Bonney touched her cheek and whined. "I hate she's hot!" She groaned before eating the cheesecake Galadriel left for her.
Galadriel flew over the island; high above the sky, she glanced down one last time. "Mm, a Devil Fruit capable of changing one's ages and another allowing a user to change whatever configuration of anything or anyone. Very interesting."
Galadriel chuckled to herself. "These two were... quite interesting."
Galadriel then looked at her Log Pose and flew to the next destination.
Boa Hancock, the Pirate Empress, the most beautiful woman in all the seas, boringly peered over, looking at the sea. Her mood wasn't a good one at all. Not only was she forced to attend Sengoku's urgent meeting, but now, she was given the order to capture a certain Lunarian running wild at all costs.
"Tch, who do they think they are?" Hancock muttered, annoyed.
"Big sister," Marigold approached her. "We have received... an update from the Lunarian's Queen bounty."
Hancock, scoffing, took the wanted poster and narrowed her eyes. "From 320,000,000 to 420,000,00 Berrys. They truly are desperate to get her," Hancock muttered as she earned a few glances from her sisters.
"A 100,000,00 increase in just a few weeks. What is that?" Sandersonia asked, quite intrigued about what was happening with such a person. Especially the obsession with the World government was showing up. "Big sister, what they said during that meeting?"
"The fact that they force you to attend such a meeting must be for something important, right?" Marigold added, and Hancock only nodded as she stared at the sea before her.
"From what I heard, the Lunarian has the ability of four Devil Fruits," Hancock replied, to the shock of her sisters.
"What?! How could that be?!" Both sisters exclaimed, stunned to hear such a thing.
"I suspect it had something to do with her status as a Lunarian... maybe, she's special. I don't know; however, that is not all. That's just part of her power, a part of who she was," Hancock sighed, still thinking about her conversation with Mihawk. She didn't like him or pretty much any other men out there. Yet, Hancock knew that he wasn't a liar or someone to make things up just for the sake of it. Suppose he said that the Lunarian was powerful enough to wound him and duel him for hours without using her Devil Fruits. Then Hancock believed it.
"Just a part of her?" Marigold whispered. "What do you mean, big Sister?"
"It seems that her power is quite hard to explain. She's capable of creating stars with her hand. And even shifting reality at will, well, that's what they told me in anycase," Hancock stated, not genuinely wanting to get involved in the "Hunting the Lunarian" mission. In fact, Hancock believed that the rest of the Warlords had their own agendas. One had to look at Doflamingo and see his mind already working on something.
"We are going to ignore this... request," Hancock announced. "I have no intention to follow those Wolrd government officials... at least, as much as I can."
Marigold and Sandersonia looked at each other and shrugged. It seemed that their big sister had made up her mind already. So, there wasn't a reason for them to concern themselves with what could happen in the future. The Kuja Pirates would remain on their island, unbothered, unconcerned by the exterior world.
Hancock, however, looked at the picture of the Lunarian Queen and let a child-liked scoff. "She's not that pretty... maybe a little."
Hancock and her sisters simply continued with their route. They would soon arrive at Amazon Lily, where she could finally rest and stop worrying about whatever those in the Navy and World government feared. Let them burn, for all I care! Hancock thought, with no love for them, yet she hated that they gave her quite the ultimatum. Hancock must capture her at all costs if she ever encounters the Lunarian. That was an order, one that she couldn't refuse. At the same time, while Hancock kept thinking about her hatred of those who dared to put chains on her. Marigold and Sandersonia just looked at each other. It looked like Hancock's anger would take a while to vanish.
Galadriel frowned deeply, watching the sea below her as she flew over the vast ocean. "Uh?" Galadriel looked at her Log Pose and whined loudly. "I think I went the wrong way!" Galadriel groaned as she noticed that for hours flew the other way. All because she let her mind wonder about what else to discover, her plans, or everything Roger told her. Galadriel honestly had a remarkably absent mind sometimes. It could be hard to focus on things.
"I also fell asleep while flying... uh, I didn't know I could do that," Galadriel muttered, surprised at her ability to fly while sleeping. Nevertheless, she glanced below and noticed how strange the sea was behaving.
The sea looked highly unperturbed, calm and without even a breeze of air. Galadriel frowned, noticing rather large shadows deep into the water. "Ah, so this is Calm Belt? Impressive." Galadriel had to admit that she finally understood why pirates avoided such a deadly sea. There was no wind for them to sail, and the Sea Kings were enough to destroy any ship.
"Now that I look at it. The Sea Kings are huge... like truly big," Galadriel said, amused as she kept flying. "So, I think I should turn around and keep track of what the Log Pose is telling me to go."
The supposed Lunarian Queen was about to turn back and leave the peaceful Calm Belt before noticing an island ahead of her. It looked like quite a strange place from the looks of it. Especially in the middle of the Calm Belt. Which caused Galadriel's intrigue to increase. "Mm, an island...? Interesting!"
Galadriel then decided to take the opportunity to investigate said place, hoping to find out something fascinating. Because what could be the worst she could find there? Galadriel wanted to explore the world and would not leave any island unscathed out of her curiosity. So, with that in mind, Galadriel approached the island and noticed as she got closer. That something was written on one of the mountains.
"Kuja...?" Galadriel tilted her head, reading the engraving on top of the big middle mountain. The one sculptured into a strange giant statue.
"Uh, that looked like a... serpent? A mountain shaped into two serpents? Weird," Galadriel hummed, watching the surroundings as she landed nearby. "Mm, it looks like the cliffs make for the perfect natural barrier for this island," Galadriel has seen many islands so far. This world truly makes sure to keep things fresh and new. No island was the same as the other. And sometimes, some of those places were rather impressive themselves, with strange and rare fauna and climate. Hopefully, the island Galadriel was currently visiting would be just like that. So, because of that, Galadriel allowed herself to go inside the island. She entered from the east side, where a large forest welcomed her, and it looked like no one was there, only wildlife that seemed to run away from her.
"Those are some strange mushrooms," Galadriel whispered, watching the fauna of the place. Nothing looked out of the ordinary, and Galadriel would use that word in a dyspeptic manner. Since the world she was currently living in was quite irrational. Yet, amusing and filled with excitement.
"Mm, I wonder where are the inhabitants of this place?" Galadriel wondered out loud before sensing a few presences getting closer to her. She stood still and waited for whoever was approaching her. The whispers became apparent, and they were feminine. Soon, the unmistakable sound of an arrow being knot was heard before it struck Galadriel.
Of course, the arrow wasn't strong enough to hurt her, so it bounced out of her. Her passive skill acted accordingly. But that gave Galadriel a good indication that whoever attacked her knew Haki.
"Oh," Galadriel looked over and saw a group of women with arrows pointing at her. "Warrior woman?"
"You!" One of them yelled. "Who are you?! How did you arrive here?!"
Galadriel noticed those warrior women surrounded her, but she wasn't just going to start on a rampage. She was, after all, the one entering someones else home without permission. Galadriel then raised her hand, giving some peace of mind to those who had come to see her.
"I apologize," Galadriel told the group around her. "I come in peace."
Suddenly one of the women jumped down and, still pointing her bow at her, introduced herself. "I am Kikyo, of the Kuja tribe. You're trespassing!" Kikyo said, slowly approaching her, keeping her guard up, watching and inspecting Galadriel's body.
"Not my intention. I was merely passing through," Galadriel announced, wondering if she could learn more about the Kuja tribe. So far, she only saw women around, which was strange. "If I could be shown around, that would be great. I have no intentions of fighting... if possible."
Galadriel stated, and it was clear that she let a small warning. Kikyo looked around at her fellow Kuja, and all of them could sense danger from the mysterious woman before them.
"Kikyo, what should we do?"
Kikyo stared at Poppy and the rest, and all looked troubled. "You saw the arrow? It bounced back!"
"Y-yeah, I saw it."
Galadriel hummed, wondering if it would be better to present herself to ease their worries. "My name is Galadriel Melkor. If I could speak with... the leader of the Kuja tribe. We could both arrange something... I am here to explore and nothing more."
Kikyo looked troubled. "Well, you're a woman, right? So it should be fine..." she muttered.
Galadriel raised an eyebrow, wondering why her being a woman was good with them.
"Alright... follow me, but don't get any crazy ideas! If you do something that threatens the tribe, we'll eliminate you!"
Galadriel smiled at them softly and gently nodded. "Of course, I'll make sure to behave." Galadriel's angelic smile worked wonderfully since the Kuja warrior couldn't believe how beautiful she was. Now that the sun was allowing them to see Galadriel's features better. It was clear how gorgeous she was.
The Kuja warrior just stood there, watching her, before they almost fell to the ground.
"She's so cute!"
"B-beautiful! How can she be so beautiful!"
"She is shining! Her smile is shining!"
Galadriel snorted, a bit amused. It was strange hearing people about how attractive she was. Almost quite disturbing, but honestly, it felt good. However, Galadriel wondered if her passives a [Demonic Seductress] had anything to do with how others perceived her. It mainly served around low-level NPCs and gave her some persuasion points when it came down to doing Quest or other business or whatever. Yet, that ability increased how people see and react towards her. Making her, in their eyes, more beautiful and desirable.
Mm, good to know. Galadriel thought happily.
"Alright... please follow us."
Galadriel nodded and started to follow the group of warrior women.
It took no long before Galadriel arrived at a city or fortress. It looked like both. The place she was visiting was impressive, an actual fort with those hills serving as walls. However, Galadriel noticed in minutes that all around her were only females.
"Why are no men around?" Galadriel wondered out loud.
"Men are forbidden here," Kikyo replied to her. "No men are allowed to set foot on this island."
Now, that bit of information surprised Galadriel. "Well, that's surprising to hear. But... I see small children. Little girls... so, if no men are allowed here. How...?"
"We travel outside to conceive. But, we Kujas, only birth girls."
Galadriel had a funny reaction to their blatant honesty of them. But she was pretty surprised to hear that they only conceive girls. Mm, it may have to do with them being a Kuja. I wonder... Galadriel hummed as soon the rest of the females there shouted something loud.
"They are arriving! They are here!"
"Our empress is arriving!"
"Our Snake princess!"
"The Kuja Pirates are here!"
Galadriel tilted her head, wondering who they were referring to.
"Our Empress should decide what to do with you. Follow us," Kikyo declared. Galadriel wondered who that Empress was supposed to be.
Yet, she would find out soon enough.
Boa Hancock and her sisters arrived at Amazon Lily, and like always, all of the Kujas received them with open arms. Nevertheless, Hancock had quite the headache. And wanted to do nothing but rest. Still, as she got off her ship, she was met with one of the hunters who was quite out of breath.
"Snake princess! Grave news! We have captured an intruder!"
"An intruder?" Marigold replied, stunned.
Hancock and her sisters were shocked, but Hancock was surprised and stunned by such a thing. "Who is the intruder?!" Boa exclaimed urgently, fearing a man had entered their island.
"She told us... her name is Galadriel Melkor!"
Hancock stood there, stunned to hear such a name, on her island. But quickly, jumped into action.
"Big sisters!" Marigold saw Hancock's face and knew it was urgent.
"I want the entire island close! All of it! And bring the prisoner to me immediately!" Hancock ordered, and quickly all followed her commands. How is she here?! If the World Government finds out...! Hancock hissed as she swore to make sure to do whatever she must in order to protect her island.
The Kuja pirates quickly went to where the intruder was waiting; Hancock and her sisters were the first ones to arrive at the throne room. There, they met an amused woman standing in the middle of the hall, surrounded by warrior women. Yet, that wasn't just all. The woman in question, Galadriel Melkor, was as beautiful as Hancock had heard and honestly, the wanted poster didn't show how truly gorgeous she was. Annoyingly so, for Hancock to admit.
However, like Hancock, Galadriel thought the same for her, as the pirate Empress looked divine with that famous dress of hers, exposing her skin and long and strong legs. Yet, there was this aura around Hancock. A quite childlike one. An arrogant one. From a person who knew how beautiful she was and took more than just pride in it. But use it to her advantage.
"You," Hancock pointed her finger at her. "How dared you invade my island?"
"I was just visiting," Galadriel defended herself. "I have no intentions of fighting you...? Who are you?" Galadriel asked; she wasn't lying. Galadriel didn't know who Hancock was, but from what she had heard from the Kuja Warriors, she was supposed to be their leader.
That question itself offended everyone there. Especially Hancock, who seemed almost injured at the fact that someone didn't know her.
"She doesn't know who our big sister is?!" Marigold exclaimed, shocked.
"She may be truly lost! That's all!" Sandersonia added. "Everyone knows about our sister's beauty!"
"How can this homeless woman not know who I am?" Hancock exclaimed dramatically. "The horror...!"
"I'm not homeless!" Galadriel exclaimed, insulted. "Well... I can't find my home... but that doesn't make me homeless!"
Hancock sighed, but soon she glared at the woman before her. "Nevertheless... your presence here is not wanted... Lunarian Queen, Galadriel Melkor," Hancock walked towards Galadriel, and since both women were almost of the same height. They could easily see each other's eyes. "The World Government has put a high bounty on you. And since I am a Warlord of the Sea. I'm bound to take you in order to secure Kuja island's safety."
Hancock wasn't one to listen or obey the World government. Still, Sengoku's words at the last meeting made her realize that he won't tolerate letting her go if she didn't capture Galadriel if she had the chance. They were sincere about it. And they'll find out if she ever had any contact with Galadriel, sooner or later. And the moment they do, they'll strip her of the Warlord of the Sea title and call a Buster Call on the Kuja Island. They were that serious about this. They were leaving; no choice to Hancock, as much as she hated to admit it.
"So, why should I let you go...? Tell me?"
Galadriel's golden eyes carefully inspected Hancock's. "That would be quite a horrible idea for your part, Snake Princess."
"Oh, and what could that be?" Hancock hissed threateningly. "It seems you don't understand your circumstances and who I am."
Galadriel simply stared at her, wondering what does that even mean.
"You see, on sea, earth and air. I can do whatever I desire it. And you know why it is?"
"Uh, no?" Galadriel replied, a bit confused by the weird woman.
"Because... I am beautiful," Hancock said before making a heart-shaped symbol with her hands. "Mero Mero Mellow!" Soon, a strange heart-shaped beam appeared, unexpectedly reaching Galadriel's body and surrounding her. Everyone expected Galadriel's body to turn to stone. After all, everyone who stared at Hancock's body would immediately feel lust for her. That was the norm, what would typically happen. Yet, in this case, Galadriel remains unaffected.
Everyone stared at her, and even Galadriel was entirely confused by the heart beam. If that was an attack, then why she doesn't feel like she took damage at all? A question for the philosophers.
"Uhm... mm," Galadriel looked around and noticed nothing had happened to her.
Hancock and the rest just stared at her for a few seconds. Before, Hancock attacked one more time.
"Mero Mero Mellow!"
Again, the attack reached Galadriel but did nothing. The white-haired woman hummed loudly, glancing around her and inspecting her body. "Mm, so... what is that supposed to do?" Galadriel asked, quite shocked and amused by what was happening. Especially the faces those women were making.
"Wh-why won't she petrify?!" Hancock exclaimed, completely stunned. "Don't you feel any excitement from seeing a beautiful woman like me?! Don't you feel some lust for my body?!"
"Well, you know what they say... there's more than just a pretty face," Galadriel replied, a bit merry by the situation itself. "But you do make a good question. And I don't know the answer."
It could be because of [Belt of Stone and Heart]. Galadriel thought, watching the golden belt she was wearing. It can block any CC, Stun, or anything of that manner below the Seventh Tier. But, if I had to guess as well. My Basilisk's form may have a hidden ability. Maybe that petrification attack won't work on me because of the nature of a Basilisk...? Interesting. I'll have to test it out.
"Impossible!" Hancock replied, denying that a person in the world could resist her power or, more importantly, her. It was just impossible to think about. "Yes... of course, you're a Lunarian! Maybe...! Maybe that's why my Devil Fruit doesn't work on you!"
"Y-yeah, that's a right, big sister!" Marigold also added that she did not want to believe someone couldn't find her sister attractive. "That's the only reasonable explanation!"
"What a lucky woman!" Sandersonia exclaimed too. "The fact that she is not a human may be why she is alive!"
Galadriel rolled her eyes at their words. "That's... quite the coping mechanism," Galadriel say in response.
Hancock quickly realized that the woman before her was dangerous. Even more, than she initially thought. "Kuja pirates! Captured her!"
Galadriel sighed deeply. She wasn't genuinely keen on fighting with these warrior women. She quite liked them. The whole Amazonian style they were showing up charmed Galadriel. It could also be that Galadriel enjoyed the sight of strong, muscled and semi-naked women. But if they want to taste her power. Galadriel would be inclined to show them.
"[Arcane Expansion II]" The Kujas pirates were thrown away quite far. Some of them collided with the walls of the throne room, causing them to lose consciousness. "I don't want to fight, but I'll defend myself if I had to."
"So be it!"
"Die!"
Soon, Marigold and Sandersonia attacked, and they were more skilled than the other Kuja pirates. And it was clear their Haki also was stronger. Galadriel evaded their attacks. However, Hancock also joined them.
"You're not getting away!" The Snake Princess' kick was quite something. "Perfume Femur!" Hancock's attacks were relatively fast, one after another, yet each was potent enough to push Galadriel slightly. Hancock truly wanted to hurt her. It seemed that her words hurt Hancock's pride. Galadriel paid little attention to the two sisters, whose attacks didn't hurt her. However, Hancock was above them. Galadriel hummed as the Kuja empress attacks were starting to get faster.
"Perfume Femur!" Galadriel caught Hancock's kick on the receiving end with her hand. "Mm, it seems you're quite strong," Galadriel teased as she pushed Hancock away. "But you need to do more if you want to hurt me."
Her Haki is quite strong. And her kicks have quite the punch. Galadriel thought as another kick came down on her. Is she still holding back...? I wonder if she doesn't want her sisters to get caught in the middle of her attacks? Galadriel then received another powerful kick on her face, much to her irritation.
"Not good enough," Galadriel replied, as Hancock grew angry at the fact her attacks were having any effect on Galadriel.
"Insolent!" Hancock yelled loudly as she was now pushing more behind her attack. "You want it to hurt?! Then it will hurt!"
"Perfume Femur Magna!" Soon, Hancock's attack took Galadriel by surprise. Galadriel's body slammed on the wall quite far away, on the other edge of the throne room. Their fighting was destroying the poor throne room. And after such an attack, one would expect the poor person receiving such a powerful kick to be hindered for life. Hancock did expect as such. But to see that white-haired woman come out of the debris like nothing did make her enraged even more.
"Now, that was truly a powerful kick," Galadriel remarked, cleaning some of the rubble from her shoulder. "That did quite the damage. Look, my poor clothes are messed up because of you. But, to be expected, my gown is only a Top Class Item. There's only so much they can take before breaking down. I'll have to wear something stronger than this from now on."
Galadriel saw how her abdomen was exposed now. Her gown was slowly breaking down. But she was unharmed, all things considered. Nevertheless, she realized that Hancock was a powerful individual, and it seemed the woman was holding back. "I should have expected nothing less from a Warlord of the Seas."
Hancock hissed, watching the Lunarian before her. "How insolent you're, girl. But I'll admit it. You're strong. I can see why the World Government wants you so badly. Those dogs are throwing money for you all over the place... disgusting."
Galadriel noticed the disdain in her tone of voice. "For someone who dislikes the World Government, you seem keen on doing their dirty work. Like a good little dog."
That struck a nerve as Hancock approached her, using her long, muscled legs to attack Galadriel.
"[Arcane Shield]" Galadriel saw that face and was contorted in pure fury.
"How dare you?!" Hancock yelled, increasing the speed of her attacks and the power behind them. "How dare you judge me?! Who are you?! Who gives you the right to judge my actions?!"
Galadriel's Arcane Shield stopped each attack. Yet, Hancock increased her agility, moving and almost dancing at the tune of her anger. She's fast and incredibly agile. Galadriel realized she must use something to keep up with the woman. However, Galadriel was still enjoying her time, watching this woman, filled with fury, fight.
Oh my, she's pretty cute when angry. Galadriel thought's reflected her current actions. I want to put my face between those thighs.
Hancock's kick almost made sure to let her know otherwise. "You don't know anything about me!"
Hancock then practically jumped towards her, aiming her legs directly at her. "Femur Twin Break!"
Ah, focus! Focus! You stupid closet lesb-oh! they are black. Galadriel saw Hancock's glory as she practically used both legs to throw a powerful kick directly to her face. Galadriel's body was thrown towards some of the columns, breaking them into pieces. Hancock's power seemed to increase depending on how angry she was. The fact that that did cause some damage to her made Galadriel realise she needed to take Hancock seriously now.
"Ah, I deserve that... Hancock's has destroyed my clothes; her Haki truly something else," Galadriel muttered as she lay on the floor. "It's time to be serious."
Galadriel stood up and watched Hancock and her sisters turn into enormous serpents.
"You're not getting away now," Marigold exclaimed as she covered herself on fire. "Medusa Hair... Salamander!"
"Say your goodbyes! Medusa Hair... Eight-headed Serpent!" Sandersonia yelled, too.
"You should have turned to stone," Hancock exclaimed smugly. "But it's too late for that now."
Galadriel looked at them and nodded. "I guess that's true. It's too late for any of that," she whispered as the three sisters started to see how Galadriel's body began to alter. Some strange lights were appearing around her body. Of course, they didn't know; Galadriel was simply buffing herself up.
"This should be enough. There are things I wish to try," Galadriel muttered, watching them. "I did tell you... it was going to be a bad idea."
Hancock frowned. "What do you mean?" Hancock and her sisters were watching where Galadriel was standing. They saw it right there. But then, in a blink of an eye. Galadriel wasn't there anymore.
"Wh...?!" Hancock had no time to exclaim when she felt someone's hand behind her.
"[Arcane Shockwave III]" From Galadriel's hand, a powerful arcane attack came, but that wasn't enough. Galadriel focused a part of her Devil Fruit and smiled when she infused some of her Thunderbird's ability with it. So, Hancock's body wasn't just struck by a mighty Magical power, but pure raw energy simultaneously.
Hancock's body flew across the room, slamming into one of the far-away walls. Her body was jerking, filled with pain and static.
"Big sister!" Marigold exclaimed, shocked.
"Ho-how dared you!" Sandersonia's hair attacked Galadriel, but the white-haired woman didn't care. She pointed her finger at her, and soon a giant bubble emerged, enveloping Sandersonia incredibly fast.
Then, inside the bubble, a fog began to appear. The smell of wet air made Sandersonia wonder what was happening.
"I see... I can combine the Devil Fruits' power," Galadriel muttered as she smiled. "I wonder... [Arcane Binding]" Inside the bubble, Sandersonia's body was constrained by strange blue light chains. But that wasn't all. Soon, inside the bubble, a mini-thunderstorm started to appear.
"Wh-what's happening!" Sandersonia yelled, afraid, yet Galadriel only smiled at her.
"I did say... I didn't want to fight, didn't I?"
Soon, Sandersonia was struck by multiple lightning strikes inside the bubble. And that wasn't all. Galadriel also filled the bubble sphere with water, rendering Sandersonia's Devil Fruit useless.
"Sonia!" Marigold exclaimed, genuinely terrified of what was happening. The fire serpent attacked Galadriel, who wasn't paying attention to her. The fire attacks were utterly useless against Galadriel. She, as a Demon, was immune to any attack that included fire.
Galadriel was taking notes of the multiple combinations she could do now. "Truly interesting. However, there's something I wish to test."
"You...! Stop it!" Marigold yelled, horrified at whatever Galadriel was trying to do.
Galadriel's then glanced at Marigold. The Boa sister froze when she took a glimpse of those golden eyes. The pupil of Galadriel's eyes were of a reptile nature. They seemed to become even brighter than before. Lucky for Marigold, before she could take a good look into Galadriel's pupils. Galadriel quickly closed her eyes. Yet, it was enough for Marigold to become stone.
"Ups, that was close," Galadriel muttered apologetically.
Sandersonia, who was inside the bubble and slowly being filled with thunderstorm water, saw everything happen. "Mari! Mari!" She yelled, utterly terrified and shocked at what she was watching.
"Basilisk's eyes... you're quite lucky that I choose to petrify you," Galadriel stated, watching the stone figure of Marigold. "If you had stared at my eyes directly. I could've killed you."
"Mari! Sonia!" Hancock finally stood up from the debris. Only two watched her sister's downfall. "H-How dare you!" Like before, Hancock's speed was not to be scoffed at, and Galadriel knew it. That's why she prepared for it.
"Now, enough of this, [Arcane Prision IV]."
Soon, four large pillars made of pure Arcanic power appeared around Hancock's body. Suddenly, magically binding chains appeared, trapping Hancock inside. Her arms, legs, neck, and all her body were entangled in the powerful binding. Hancock also noticed four spears floating above her, ready to strike her if she dared to escape, which she couldn't do. Hancock's body was unable to even breathe properly. And she tried, honestly tried to move.
"What's this?!" Hancock hissed furiously, while Galadriel only touched Hancock's forehead.
"[Drain Stamina] [Reverse Invigorate]" Soon enough, Hancock's energy left her body. Exhaustion set in like venom in her body. Her legs gave up, and her body limped, fragile and powerless, like a puppet whose strings had been cut down.
"Wh-what did you do to me," Hancock's voice was barely audible. A murmur a best. The only thing keeping her talking was her bitterness.
"I did tell you it would not end well for you," Galadriel replied, looking the Serpent princess down. "I'm just... way above you."
"Big Sister-!"
"Sonia...!" Hancock's voice was barely audible. She wanted to stand up and break these strange chains. But Hancock couldn't keep her eyes open by the sheer diabolical fatigue.
"She'll die," Galadriel remarked as the bubble was soon filled with water. Sandersonia, incapable of breaking free, slowly started to drown. "Your sister is about to die, Hancock. What are you going to do?"
Galadriel's voice was devoid of any emotion. It was cold and cruel. Hancock tried to scream but couldn't even move her arms in fury. The only thing she could do, with whatever strenght she had left, was to weep in defeat. Ashamed and guilty.
Don't underestimate her. She is hiding more power than we realize. Those were Mihawk's words. And Hancock, like a fool, ignored them. Believing her strenght alone would be sufficient.
Galadriel just watched the beautiful woman's tears and sighed. It ends now. Galadriel thought, sad that it came to this. But they attacked her first. She only defended herself. But, as Galadriel was about to finish it. She noticed, on the back of Sandersonia, a strange mark. The poor woman was on death's door. She was floating inside the giant bubble, making her cape unable to protect her vulnerable back. But that may have been their saving grace.
"Wait... it's that...?" Galadriel touched the bubble with her finger, and then it burst, dropping Sandersonia on the ground.
Sandersonia was barely alive. Not only was she throwing up, all the water she swallowed. But she was still burned and injured from the lighting and other abilities.
"Your back," Galadriel called as Sandersonia froze in place. "That brand... that's a slave brand, is it?"
Sandersonia's body didn't respond. The disgrace pushed the hurt aside. Hancock's just stood there, fearful of what it could mean. Galadriel walked behind her, and Hancock's tried her best to move and to stop her, but her body didn't obey her. Galadriel moved Hancock's cape and clothes and saw the same brand there.
"I see. It all makes sense now."
Hancock's tears were visible now as she heard Galadriel's words. The worst that could happen has taken place. Hancock's slave brand has been seen by an enemy. Her sisters, and her, those horrible memories. The terror they endured as children. They were marked by them and seen as less than a human. A toy, a pet, a thing. It was all coming back. The shame, the pain, were now for Galadriel to pay with.
Would she laugh about them? Mock them? Use that information to blackmail them? Send them back to Mary Geoise? Tell the world that the proud Pirate Empress was nothing but a slave?
Hancock didn't know, and neither did her sisters. Yet, that was not quite what was happening.
Galadriel waved her hands, releasing Hancock's of the bindings. She then walked towards the petrified Marigold statue and touched it. Returning her back to normal.
Hancock just stood there, watching.
"Here, drink this... it will help you," Galadriel said, giving a red potion to Sabersonia.
"Wh-what's this?" Sabersonia asked fearfully.
"A health potion."
Sabersonia didn't know what to think. She glanced at Hancock, her big sister, who lay there on her knees, not knowing how to react. Simply dumbfounded.
"Don't hurt my sister! I'll drink it! But don't hurt my big sister!" Sandersonia pleaded to a quite amused Galadriel.
"Nothing will happen to you... it just going to heal you," Galadriel replied, amused. Sabersonia simply decided to jug the potion and wait for the worst. But it didn't happen. Soon, a greenish light surrounded her body, and her wounds vanished.
"Sonia...?" Marigold asked, still confused about what had happened.
"I'm... I am healed," Sandersonia whispered, stunned. "It's like I never was in a fight."
"Of course, it's a potion made for this," Galadriel chuckled as she approached Marigold. "[Lesser Restoration]" Soon, another greenish light surrounded the other Boa sister, healing her from whatever damage she obtained from Galadriel.
"W-whoa!" Marigold simply reacted, not knowing what was happening or what Galadriel was doing.
"Better?" Galadriel asked gently.
"Mm-yeah," Marigold replied, unsure of how to react.
"Good," Galadriel then walked towards Hancock, who was lost. Utterly stunned. Her brain couldn't adequately react to what was happening.
"[Greater Restoration] [Second Wind]"
Soon, Hancock's wounds vanished slowly, but the fatigue she once was a prisoner of disappeared immediately. Hancock's body was filled with pure energy, as if she had woken up from a long nap. But while Hancock's body felt reinvigorated. Her mind was still quite shocked and bewildered, especially when Galadriel offered her hand.
"Here," Galadriel said, but Hancock couldn't, in good faith, accept it. She stared back at the woman with white hair and long black wings.
"Why...? Why are you doing this?" Hancock muttered at her. "Why... after everything, you offer your hand?"
"I'm afraid I don't understand your question," Galadriel replied. Roger, told me about this, about them. He didn't like them, and neither will I. Galadriel thought, watching Hancock's troubled face.
"Don't play dumb with me!" Hancock snapped. "You could have killed us! At any moment, you could have done whatever you wanted with us! Is this pitty? It's because we are slaves?! You found us weak?! Not even worthy of an honourable death?!"
Galadriel stared at Hancock's angry eyes and understood why Hancock felt like that.
"No," Galadriel replied. "I don't find you weak at all."
"Then why?!" Hancock cried at her. "Why are you showing us mercy?!"
"Because I know how it feels... being a slave."
Galadriel replied, and those words seemed to have pierced into Hancock's soul, and so did the rest of her sisters.
Maybe, not in the same way as them. But the pain weighs the same. Galadriel thought, remembering those days. Back in her old world, she was a sheep for a mega-corporation. Another number for them, a slave in every sense of the word. She was beaten, assaulted in every way possible, and humiliated daily. It was paid work in which she had no choice but to sell herself in order to not die on the streets of the toxic mega-city. She could never say "no" to her bosses. No matter how much she tried. Galadriel was as easily replaceable and quick to sell. Because women in a mega-corporation didn't get fired, no, they get sold as a "bribe" to one of the big cats. If lucky. Sometimes, they'll disappear, mostly killed somewhere, and their organs sold off in the Black Market. Perhaps, it wasn't fair to compare each other. But, Galadriel believes the experiences could resemble one another.
Roger... you would have done this, too, right? You would have saved me from them... right? Galadriel wondered about that quite often.
"It's not easy to overcome it. The humiliation, the pain, and the sorrow those memories bring. It will never go away," Galadriel smiled at Hancock, as the Serpent princess just couldn't believe it.
"Wh... what do you know about our pain," Hancock whispered at her, not wanting to believe someone could understand.
"Some scars don't need to be visible for them to hurt, Boa Hancock. And just like you, I have my own scar to be ashamed of."
Hancock then glanced back at Galadriel and saw honesty in her golden eyes. "You..."
"We start on the wrong foot. Let's start again; what do you say?" Galadriel beamed gently at her.
Hancock didn't know what to say or do. She only did the only thing that came to her mind. Hancock took Galadriel's hand and noticed how soft her palms were. She is... beautiful up close. Hancock finally accepted that another person was more graceful than her.
After Galadriel and Hancock's rather tumultuous introduction, the females allow some privacy for Hancock. Of course, once Galadriel healed them. Now, an eerie silence was left in the throne room, that and the rubbles left behind. Galadriel sat in front of Hancock and her sisters and said nothing.
Uwah, what's with this silence? Galadriel gulped nervously.
Hancock was refusing to look at her eyes. Ashamed? Guilty? Or something else? Marigold and Sandersonia simply looked at each other with worry. Still unsure of how to put everything together.
Thankfully, soon enough, another person arrived at the throne room. A very old lady came barging in, bringing attention towards her. "I was asked to come here after a strange incident."
The elderly woman then looked at the mess inside the fortress, where the throne room was located.
"Mm! What's that ruckus? Whaaa! The throne room!" An old lady exclaimed, surprised.
"Elder Nyon," Sandersonia whispered, watching the previous Empress of the Kujas.
"What happened here?" Elder Nyon muttered as she soon watched Galadriel sitting there, who awkwardly waved at her. "Whoaa! Such a beauty!"
"Hello," Galadriel saluted the elderly woman.
"W-who are you?" She asked.
"Galadriel Melkor, please to meet you... Elder Nyon?" Galadriel said slowly, noticing how the elderly woman seemed to ignore her.
"Hancock?! Why is she doing here?" Elder Nyon shook her head after the introduction. "What happened here?!"
Hancock sighed, annoyed. "She a Lunarian," she told her.
"A Lunarian?"
"And she defeated us," Hancock declared, much to the surprise of Elder Nyon, who was quite surprised by such a statement. Especially coming from someone as prideful and arrogant as Hancock. "And she knows about our slave brand."
Elder Nyon was now shocked to hear that. "I see..." she replied nervously, watching the reaction of the other sisters.
"As I say, don't have to worry about people knowing," Galadriel added.
"That's..." Hancock muttered. "We attacked you, and yet you don't see us as enemies?"
Galadriel sighed. "I never saw you as enemies."
Hancock's lip quivered, again looking down. "Then... you see us as less than human?"
Galadriel raised an eyebrow. Ah, I see... the slave brand.
"I see you for what you are," Galadriel smiled as Hancock glanced at her, confused.
"For what I am...?" Hancock whispered as Galadriel reached and touched her cheeks, smiling at the hurt woman.
"Yes, I see you, Boa Hancock as a beautiful, strong woman. Leader of the Kuja Pirates and Pirate Empress and leader of the Kuja Tribe."
Those words struck something deep inside her. It even hurt Hancock. But she couldn't look away from Galadriel and those beautiful golden eyes.
Galadriel then hummed. "Hancock, could you please show it to me? There is something I would like to do."
Hancock and her sisters were confused by her request and a bit worried.
"H-how dared you ask big sister to do that?" Marigold exclaimed, quite aggravated by it. She truly believed Galadriel would do something that would hurt Hancock and wasn't the only one.
"That's cruel!" Sabersonia added, insulted and angry. "Are you trying to shame her even more?!"
"Sonia, Mari," Hancock stopped them both. "It's okay."
"But-!"
"It's fine," Hancock replied, slowly turning around. She took her clothes, revealing her naked back towards Galadriel, who could now see the Slave Brand entirely.
Galadriel sneered at it. To brand people as if they were nothing but... things. Those World Nobles. Those Celestial Dragons...! Galadriel took a deep breath. She would make sure to make them regret everything they'd done. Mm, still, if this wound wasn't healed with the other abilities... then...
"Stay still, Hancock," Galadriel muttered, wondering if the ability she was about to use would work.
"What are you going to do?" Elder Nyon now asked as Hancock's sisters stared worriedly at Galadriel, who put her hand on their sister's naked back.
"[Remove Lesser Wound]" Soon, a small yellowish light appeared on Galadriel's hand. Hancock shivered at the strange sensation on her back. It felt cold, yet warm at the same time.
However, what was happening, stunned the rest.
"There, finally, perfect," Galadriel removed her hand from Hancock's back only to reveal that the Slave Brand had gone away. Removed from Hancock's perfect skin like it was never there.
"What happened?" Hancock asked, glancing back at her sisters and Elder Nyon.
"Big sister...! The Slave Brand, the mark...! Is gone!"
Hancock quickly turned around, stunned, only to watch Galadriel chuckling.
"H-how?" Hancock muttered, almost unable to speak.
"The slave brand is, at the end of the day, a burn—a deep wound, especially since it been years since it was put on you. I just remove it," Galadriel replied gently. "It may not take the memories away. But at least now. No physical mark should chain you to that past. Never again."
Hancock lay there, on her knees, hugging her body as Sandersonia brought a mirror, where she could see that the horrible mark that reminded her of those years was no more. It may not erase that past, that was true. But for Hancock, to see herself without shame, without having to see that brand on her back, a painful reminder of her being considered nothing but dirt, and less than a human, felt like someone relieved her of that weight.
Hancock's lips trembled. Her tears couldn't stop coming.
Galadriel looked and felt quite compelled to do something. She wished someone had done something like that for her in the past. Maybe, it was why she was bothering to do all of this. A therapeutic activity to herself. Allowing her to feel better and that someone else could have some peace of mind just like she would like to have during those times.
"Hey," Galadriel whispered, reaching over Hancock, cleaning some of those tears. "Don't cry. Those tears are ruining the face of the most beautiful woman in the world."
Hancock, again, felt as if something had pierced her heart. She clenched her chest for the first time in a long time. She cried as she hugged Galadriel tightly.
Ah, this is definitely not what I expected to happen.
Authors note!
-I'll let you all decide how to name Galadriel's devil fruits! Since I have no imagination, I think it's an excellent running gag for her not to call them since she is horrible at naming things.
-Also, I am taking DnD lore about the Basilisk things. And borrowing some of the Overlord Wiki.
-And I think, Albedo and Hancock are one of the same when it comes down to love and obsession. I'll fight anyone on that hill.
-I'll post some artwork soon, in the coming days, about what her Thunderbird form looks like and her Basilisks form as well. Please check it out!
-And I invented Hancock's attack, "Femur Twin Break!" Because I believe Hancock deserves more attack. And I use her attack from that movie, where she faces Bullet.
