Chapter 4
A rather incredible few days have come to pass. Galadriel has become quite the celebrity on Kuja island. At first, she thought it would take a while for the rest of the Kuja Warriors to forgive her for almost slaying their ruler and destroying a part of their fortress. Yet nothing of sorts happened. They were, in fact, ecstatic and utterly infatuated with her. Something about Galadriel curing the evil curse hanging on the Boa's sister's back, "The Gorgon Eyes curse", had something to do with her current popular status. Sandersonia told her later that the supposed curse was a lie. Obviously, one made up by then to protect their backs from prying eyes. It was a desperate measure for them. But one, they needed to in order to live on their home island.
Galadriel understood it, and the need to lie was comprehensible for anyone going through something similar. Still, they were thankful to her in more ways than Galadriel could imagine, to the point they seemed to forget she almost killed them. Still, Sandersonia and Marigold feared her abilities but, at the same time, also respected how powerful and "wise" she was. A sentiment that made her chuckle slightly. Galadriel did not see herself as wise but didn't want to break their fantasy. But, the Kujas took pride in having a strong and capable woman among them. Galadriel just nodded at them and waved with a smile. She thought a bit differently from them. Still, creating new alliances and friends was good, especially if Galadriel wished to achieve her goal of finding Nazarick without having to face the world alone.
There are enemies out there that are powerful and with unknown abilities. I can't let my guard down anymore. Galadriel thought, remembering Roger's words. The New World was filed with potential threats. She needed to be careful.
However, Galadriel did not expect the Pirate Empress to suddenly fall sick with a mysterious illness.
I just told her I was leaving... then she just got sick. This world is bizarre. Galadriel muttered internally, amused by the Serpent Princess's sudden reaction. Nevertheless, she didn't express her entertained thoughts since, for the looks of it. It was severe, like deadly serious.
"Big sister...!" Marigold's expression showed nothing but worry at her dear and beautiful sister lying on the bed. Sweating profusely, barely eating, breathing hard and looking delirious.
"This is such a horrible sickness! What can we do, Elder Nyon?" Sandersonia asked worriedly as the ancient Kuja sighed deeply.
"There's nothing we can do. Hancock has the Love Sickness!"
"What're you saying?!"
"Stop making stupid jokes, Elder Nyon!"
The sisters exclaimed angrily, as the elderly woman just shook her head. "I'm not joking. The previous Kuja Empresses died from this. Hancock is not the first one. I was also afflicted by this illness. But I left the island and survived."
Elder Nyon whispered, remembering the days of her youth. But now, watching the beautiful and prideful empress, Boa Hancock suffering from the same fate as her made her wonder if that illness was but a curse that ran deep in their Kuja blood. However, while everyone was thinking of that, Galadriel just sat near Hancock, looking at the beautiful woman on her supposed deathbed. All the while only thinking about one thing.
"So... Love Sickness means you're falling in love?" Galadriel asked as Hancock then stared at her. The Pirate Empress saw those golden eyes and felt her heart beat faster, her breathing increased, and her body felt on fire.
"Ga-Galadriel... I-!" Hancock tried to speak, but she wasn't able to. Galadriel scratched her chin as she hummed. The fact that Hancock was having such a physical reaction to the prospect of love made her wonder if that was because Hancock was a Kuja? Perhaps, since the Kuja warriors were all so prideful, so filled with arrogance and beauty. And that none of them have ever seen men before. Maybe, they never thought of the possibility or the need to "fall in love" with them or to even care for such emotions. So, when faced with the prospect of developing feelings for one of those men, those sentiments came to the surface as a deadly sickness, forcing them to "choose" or whatever. That could be a reasonable explanation, a good theory.
However, Galadriel was not a male. So, she needed to figure out why Hancock felt like that. I mean, I could use [True Cure] or a potion or whatever. Unless... Galadriel hummed before nodding. She was going to try something different. Half-amusement, and half-serious.
"Hancock," Galadriel leaned forward, moving her hair to the side of her ear. Hancock's breathing increased as Galadriel's was centimetres away from her face.
"Galadriel...? W-what are you doing?" Hancock whispered huskily. Almost in pain, but couldn't look away from those mesmerizing eyes. They draw her in. Galadriel's face just got closer, to the point in which Hancock could feel, Galadriel's breath on her skin. it made her shiver, with a sensation Hancock has never felt before.
"So close..." Hancock saw Galadriel's smile and made her body tremble for some reason as if she were simply succumbing to whatever illness her body was suffering.
"Easy there. I'm Just helping you, that's all," Galadriel replied before she smashed her lips into Hancock's.
"Eehhh?!" Everyone screamed, completely stunned by what was happening. Marigold and Sandersonia would usually kill anyone who dared to touch their sister. However, how could they stop Galadriel? They couldn't do anything of sorts. Only watch, with their mouth open, as Galadriel and Hancock's kiss prolonged more and more. Soon, they saw Hancock's body squirming, and one would think it was from disgust, pain, or whatever. But no, that wasn't it.
Hancock's joy couldn't be explained at all. She was tasting Galadriel's lips, those delicious big, red lips. And her mind seemed to have come out of a very thick fog. And when it did, Hancock could only think of Galadriel and no one else. An explosion of love. Pink hearts marked, Hancock's eyes. Her body has experienced Nirvana. Hancock has achieved enlightenment.
"Ah~!" Hancock let a small moan. "My first kiss~! You took my first kiss~!"
Hancock's blushed face let everyone know she was feeling happiness beyond comprehension. For the Pirate Empress, it was clear what she felt and for whom. Nothing made more sense than now. Hancock now understood all that was to life. And it showed, it truly showed.
"It couldn't be!" Elder Nyon whispered, realizing what had happened. "Those eyes...! Her reaction...! It can only mean one thing!"
Galadriel leaned back, finishing her "test." She licked her lips and couldn't help but like it. Cherry... her lips taste of cherry. Galadriel smiled triumphally. "Hope you like it... that was my first kiss too."
Galadriel replied softly. It was a lie. But not entirely. Those "kisses" she was forced to do back in her old world didn't count. They were forced upon her, ordered to do. Dirty, disgusting, humiliating. No, Galadriel refused to think of those as a proper kiss. So, she moved those ugly memories away before focusing on Hancock, who stared at Galadriel suddenly with big black eyes, wholly filled with affection and love.
"So, did that help you?" Galadriel asked again, caressing Hancock's hair tenderly as the Pirate Empress felt in heaven, sensing those soft fingers across her hair. Galadriel made a funny face, thinking Hancock was one of the most entertaining people she had met in the sea.
She's like a child. Galadriel thought, quite amused, that someone like Hancock could suddenly shift an entire personality in seconds.
Hancock just let a loud squeal. One resembling a schoolgirl. "Oh~! I know now the truth! It's clear as day!" Hancock cried in joy as the rest stared at her, wondering what had happened to her now. Hancock now looked healthy, brimming with life. Hancock stood up, putting her arms around Galadriel and hugging her tightly.
"I'll go wherever you go! I'll be anything you want me to be!" Hancock exclaimed, simply lovestruck. "I'll never leave your side... my love!"
Hancock has fallen in love with Galadriel.
Again, Galadriel did not expect things to change so abruptly. At first, she thought she had helped Hancock, figuring herself out. Perhaps, hoping to get an essential ally for her in the future. Yet, Galadriel could not predict that Hancock would fall in love with her. Having such a gorgeous woman like Hancock attached to me feels pretty good. I'm not going to lie. However... Galadriel thought nervously. as she watched Hancock, pretty much sitting on her lap, as Hancock was trying to feed Galadriel as an obedient wife would.
She's way too obsessed with me! Galadriel thought, a bit skittish by the beautiful woman's devotion. Galadriel has never experienced such an intense feelings towards her at all. Galadriel had never been in a relationship with anyone at all. She doesn't even know how a healthy relationship works. Of course, Galadriel's demonic side was overjoyed to have such a lovely and lustful "pet." for her to play with. Yet, Galadriel's human side, that small part of her that still lingers in her mind, was utterly terrified of it.
Love? Does someone love me? How? Who am I to receive such a gesture? Someone as dirty as me? Those thoughts lingered in the back of the human side of Galadriel. Her demonic side seemed annoyed and irritated by those wimpy thoughts of that side of her. However, one must truly understand that those who haven't experienced love or affection in their lives could feel incredibly attached to anyone who showed feelings towards them. It was one of the reasons why Galadriel truly started to enjoy Hancock's pampering and utter devotion and words of love. Although, they could be a bit too much.
"Please, my dear, say ah~!" Hancock's voice was so sweet, adorable and highly filled with adoration.
"Hancock, I'm not that hungry-!" Hancock didn't even let Galadriel finish her sentence as Hancock pushed the food into Galadriel's throat, gagging the poor white-haired woman.
"Ugh...!"
"There, my love! Eat as much as you want!" Hancock sighed sweetly before then glaring at the poor Kuja's serving the food. "Hey! Bring more food! My beloved is starving!"
"I'm not-!"
"Eat this now, my dear!" Hancock then shoved more food into Galadriel's mouth.
"Ugghhh-! H-Hancock, sto-p! Ughurururuhhgg-!" Galadriel's throat was filled with so much food she couldn't swallow properly. Yet, Hancock only blushed at Galadriel's cries for help.
"She's going to kill her!" The Kujas whispered, amazed.
The rest could only watch the scene with mild amusement. "I kind of feel sorry for Galadriel," Sandersonia whispered as Marigold and Elder Nyon nodded simultaneously. The Boa sisters were quite accepting of their sister new found love. They were content with it as long Hancock was happy and in Hancock's words. Nothing is purer in this world than two beautiful women loving each other! Whatever that meant. And since Galadriel was a woman, there wasn't really a problem with her staying there. Hancock has hit the jackpot by falling in love with Galadriel and keeping her title as Kuja Empress. Since she wasn't breaking any rule. However, would Galadriel survive Hancock's devotion? That was another question.
"Hancock, enough, I have eaten enough!" Galadriel pleaded with her new self-proclaimed lover. Galadriel liked eating. That wasn't the problem. The issue was that Galadriel was a slow eater and not one to shove food in her mouth as if she were an endless barrel. However, Hancock didn't know such a thing.
"I see! You needed something to drink. How silly of me! Don't worry, I'll bring whatever you wish...!"
Galadriel realized she needed to stop Hancock from bringing more food to the table. She's going to kill me with her love! Galadriel thought desperately before using her most potent weapon. One that has the power to calm down, the lovestruck woman.
"Hush, my dear, I'm full. There's no reason for you to worry," Galadriel brought Hancock closer to her, kissing the Serpent Princess softly. Hancock's face reddened, and she seemed on the verge of passing out.
"My love~!" Hancock cried with joy, blushing deeply. And while the scene was quite beautiful to see. Since both Hancock and Galadriel were just that attractive, their surrounding aura just brought all eyes to them. Galadriel's face was one of relief. There...! I shut her up! Galadriel thought nervously. Hancock kept hiding her face behind her hand while squirming on her lap.
"She's weaponizing her kiss," Marigold whispered, stunned. "She is using Hancock's attack against her!"
"Yeah... and I truly, can't blame her," Sandersonia replied, nodding sagely.
"Mm, you're truly wise, lady Galadriel," Elder Nyon added as Galadriel sighed deeply.
"Y-yeah," Galadriel muttered before noticing the newspaper on the table's edge. "Today's news?"
"Yes, just arrived," Elder Nyon replied as she picked it up and started to read it. Galadriel saw new wanted posters falling and tilted her head, watching them. A particular photo grabbed her attention as she picked her up, watching it with intrigue.
"Monkey D. Luffy..." Galadriel saw the straw hat with mild interest. But it was indeed his name that made her wonder about the possibilities. "Monkey D... I see. So, the will of the D. continues?" She muttered softly, taking a particular interest in the Straw Hat boy.
"The Straw Hat crew seemed to obtain the attention of the World Government by attacking the Judicial Island, Ennies Lobby!" Elder Nyon stated, much to the surprise of the Kujas warriors, except for Galadriel and Hancock.
Galadriel didn't know what Ennies Lobby was, so she just let a small "Ah" of surprise. At the same time, Hancock was simply in her dreamland world, incredibly comfortable on Galadriel's lap.
"Mm, it sounds like quite the crew," Galadriel hummed, watching the wanted posters.
"My love~! When should we get married? Oh! I must first make sure to prepare for the wedding!" Hancock muttered to herself, giggling while covering her blushing face.
However, Galadriel knew that this strange boy was exceptional. Call it intuition, but Galadriel could feel it. Still, it also proves that Galadriel couldn't stay there. Besides, finding Nazarick. Galadriel has made Roger a few promises. Making sure a new age arrived in the world, with everything that it convey. And to watch over his son. So, slowly she pushed Hancock aside, surprising the Serpent Princess.
"Galadriel? What is it...?"
"Hancock, I know you hate this, but I can't remain here," Galadriel said, and Hancock's hurt face was apparent. Galadriel quickly raised her hands, stopping Hancock's questions and pleading. "You told me what the World Government and the Navy would do if you had contact with me. It's dangerous for the Kuja Tribes and your sisters if I remain here."
"But...!"
"We can't risk it, Hancock," Galadriel told as softly as she could. "I know you're strong. I know the Kuja warriors are nothing to scoff at. However, risking a Buster Call and a fight against an admiral. You can see it, don't you? I simply can't risk all of your lives for me."
Hancock knew it, of course. She wasn't blind by her undying love. The potential for disaster was there. And she still had a duty to uphold as a Kuja Empress. Marigold, Sandersonia, Elder Nyon and the rest of the Kuja pirates, knew that as well. They needed to look at the bigger picture. And while they strongly believed, no one would ever tell the World government that, Galadriel was among them. It was better to be careful.
"I understand if this is what you want," Hancock replied softly as Galadriel chuckled, giving Hancock a small peck.
"Don't worry, Hancock. I told you I'll take responsibility and all it conveys. We are going to see each other frequently. It's just that I can only stay here for a short period. For both our safety."
Hancock's heart simply melted at the proclamation of love or marriage. Although, those weren't Galadriel's words, not entirely. Galadriel needed a base of operations, of sorts. A place where she could retreat in case of something big happened. So, Kuja Island was the perfect place for her.
"Also, there's something I'll like for you to have," Galadriel then pulled a ring. A particular type of ring and a necklace.
"A marriage ring?! Are you proposing?!" Hancock exclaimed, shock, as Galadriel allowed Hancock to have her moment.
"I guess... uh, well, it doesn't matter. I guess I am," Galadriel didn't bother correcting Hancock's assumptions. It was mostly Galadriel letting the woman just thinks whatever made her happy.
"Oh~! Yes! Definitely, yes!" Hancock exclaimed, already hearing wedding bells. "We are married now?! Are you my wife?! I'm your wife?!"
Galadriel just, hummed, deciding just to say yes. So, why bother saying otherwise? Galadriel, would just see where the rainbow takes her.
"Mm, I mean, well... I suppose we are married?"
"What kind of proposal is this?!" Sandersonia, Marigold and Elder Nyon just stood there, shocked.
"I did say I was going to take responsibility, so... it's better this way, no?" Galadriel just replied, a bit innocent and amused by the whole thing. Hancock was simply dancing and jumping around happily ever after.
"Weeding! I must prepare...! Weddings! LOVE! The dress...! I need a gown...! Flowers?! Where are flowers?!" Hancock exclaimed, just in her own little world. Galadriel just hummed, shrugging any concern away, also deep into her own little world. Thinking of what she should do now. The rest just stared at the strange new-married couple, with just pure shock.
"Ah... we don't care anymore," the woman replied, sighing deeply.
Galadriel was speaking the truth when she told Hancock she was now her responsibility. After all, Galadriel now had the Kuja Tribe, an island filled with influential Haki users, as her allies. And Hancock was one of the Warlords of the Sea and powerful in her own right as a loyal "wife". It was a no-brainer to just ride the wave and take this new partnership's positives. Who would deny Hancock's hand and love? Well, Galadriel wouldn't. She found Hancock amusing and very attractive. So, she would take the bullet for everyone else. And make sure Hancock's happiness was taken care of. Multiple times if needed.
The sacrifices, one must make in order to obtain victory. Poor little me.
"Marriage...! I'm a married woman now!" Hancock could cry with joy, and while just chuckling, Galadriel smiled at her before staring at her thoughtfully, thinking if she should give her some items.
Well, it will also be a good experiment and a safeguard. Galadriel thought as she gave Hancock a magical ring and amulet to see if Hancock could use Yggdrasil's items.
"Before you take this ring, there is something you need to hear," Galadriel said seriously. "This is not a normal ring."
"Uh?" Hancock looked at the ring on her hand and inspected it. It was a strange, golden right with one stunning emerald stone. Yet, there was some peculiar inscription on a language Hancock didn't know about. It was a gorgeous ring, no doubt. But it felt strange on her hand.
"This is [Ring of Connection and Companionship]. It's a way for us to be constantly connected. No matter the distance. You can talk to me through this, and only you, since I have the other pair. And also, no matter the distance, you or I can activate it, and I'll be transported wherever you are."
They all stared at the ring with amazement and confusion. "How...?" Marigold questioned, stunned.
"How such a ring can do that?" Sandersonia added, as stunned as her sister. "This sounds like... magic!"
"It kind of is," Galadriel replied.
Well, it's a Premium ring from San Valentine's day on Yggdrasil. It was pretty useless, there, since we had [Message]. Still, the novelty of transporting to wherever the other bearer of the ring location was allowed for some good exploits. Galadriel thought deeply, remembering what the ring was actually used for. It may sound cold and exceptionally cruel. But Galadriel gave that ring to Hancock to keep track of what was happening with the World government. Since Hancock was part of it, she could hear first-hand what was happening there. And it offers a quick getaway if Galadriel faces a powerful foe. Way faster than channelling, [Teleportation] or something else. And practical experimentation for future endeavours.
"I have never heard of such a ring to be able to do something like that," Elder Nyon asked, slowly looking at Galadriel. That woman was just a bag of surprises and mysteries.
"It's a special ring," Galadriel only replied.
"With this... we are going to be always together!" Hancock sighed in contentment as she wore the ring, like a wedding ring. A compromise and a sign of their love and holy union. Of course, that was only on Hancock's mind. Galadriel simply allowed Hancock's dreams to continue. Happy wife, happy life, right?
"Alright, now, let me put you this," Galadriel grabbed the necklace and slowly put it around Hancock's lovely neck.
"Whoa! It's beautiful!"
"Truly gorgeous!"
Hancock felt like melting away as the mirror showed the beauty of Galadriel's gift.
"Do you like it?" Galadriel asked as Hancock simply hugged and kissed her deeply.
"Oh, I love it, my dear!" Hancock exclaimed, overjoyed by the many gifts Galadriel was giving her. Although, they were more than just that. There was a reason for Galadriel to provide her with such items. And it didn't come from the bottom of her heart. Not entirely.
It should help her if something arrives. The necklace is [The Amulet of Health and Strenght]. It should give her a significant boost to her power and her health. Although, that was on Yggdrasil. And I wonder if Hancock could use it. Let's see what happens. Galadriel smiled as she looked at Hancock.
"Do you feel... anything different?" She asked as Hancock tilted her head, watching her hands and body.
"I... don't feel particularly... different?" Hancock frowned, sensing a sudden rush, inside her body. "Mm, just quite energetic. I think. More strong... I just feel stronger than before."
"What do you mean, big sister?"
Hancock couldn't explain it with words. It was as if her body was filled with more vitality. More capabilities. "I just feel stronger."
The Kuja warriors stared at each other, didn't know what to think. But, if their Serpent Princess felt better, more powerful. It was a good thing for them.
If this works, more would. Could I strengthen the Kuja Warriors if I use items with them? What'll happen if I give them Experience Scrolls or potions? Could they level up? Could they become more powerful? So much to think about. Galadriel hummed, wondering about the possibilities that lay ahead of her.
Galadriel stayed with the Kuja warriors for a week or so. She wanted to inspect how well her items worked and so far. They were positive results. Hancock took Galadriel's advice and practised her typical attacks. The Pirate Empress found out how strong they've become. It quite shocked her to see how much damage a usual kick of her does. For her part, Galadriel was pleased to see such good results. And decided to give some items to Sandersonia and Marigold to test more on them.
Galadriel didn't have much problem doing such a thing. Her inventory was tremendous and had an excessive quantity of items of all types.
Galadriel gave both [Ring of Vitality and Resistance] simple ones. But it would serve the sisters well. If Nazarick was there, Galadriel would definitely use her extensive collection of Experience Items and use them on the Kuja warriors. But since Galadriel didn't have enough for them. It would have to wait. Until she thought of something else.
I'll use [Tree of Knowledge] next time I come to see if it works on them. Galadriel hummed as she was getting ready to depart.
"All see you all later," Galadriel stated at the large crow of women waving at her.
"Be careful out there, lady Galadriel," Marigold and Sandersonia smiled at her. Already used to call her Lady Galadriel. Since she was technically married to their sister. She was part of the Boa family. And speaking about the Boa family. Hancock was truly sad about watching her beloved wife go.
"Ah~ this day has finally come," Hancock said, filled with melancholy and sadness. "My love is leaving home."
Galadriel rolled her eyes at Hancock's expression. The Warlord of the Sea was simply using her finger, playing with dirt, almost in a depressing manner. An almost hilarious sight for Galadriel to see. The last week has allowed her to know Hancock far better, and she saw that while Hancock could act like a lovestruck puppy. The woman was still incredibly fierce and arrogant. Hancock honestly had quite a strong personality as well. One side that Galadriel loved to see. The white-haired woman does love strong women, after all. And once Hancock discovered that side of Galadriel, it proved positive for their relationship. Whatever that relationship was, Galadriel had no idea. Hancock proclaimed they were married, and so everyone saw it like that.
So, it must be true. Galadriel just rolled with it.
"We are going to see each other soon, don't worry about Hancock," Galadriel stated as the Pirate Empress sighed, still sad. "Besides, you're also going to be quite busy soon."
Hancock hissed, annoyed at the call she received from the Navy. There was another meeting coming up soon. It didn't sound like an important one. The Navy just wanted an update on whatever issues were happening. Usually, Hancock wouldn't bother attending, but Galadriel told her to go and keep her updated about whatever was happening. Hancock, like a dutiful wife, would do so.
"Don't worry," Galadriel approached her and leaned forward, whispering in Hancock's ear. "I'll make it up to you."
Hancock blushed but now didn't behave like a simple schoolgirl. Now, Hancock grabbed Galadriel by her waist while her hand caressed Galadriel's lips. "Be wary, my love. I'm a pirate. I am very greedy," Hancock whispered, kissing a very amused Galadriel, who replied by putting her arms around Hancock's neck and enjoying the Pirate Empress's show of dominance.
All the Kuja there lost their mind. They all let a loud squeal of joy and an incredible piercing fangirl scream. As if they were watching their favourite TV Drama couple live. Which could be the truth for some of them. Since Galadriel and Hancock were the couples on Kuja Island. Nevertheless, it just amused Galadriel.
Hancock's dominant and stern face began to break as soon as her inner lovestruck puppy emerged. "Kya~! You're so cute! My wife is the most adorable woman in the world~!" Hancock exclaimed so, filled with joy and pride.
Galadriel chuckled as she prepared to fly away. "Take care, all of you. I'll see you all soon."
Everyone waved at her as Galadriel flew away from the Kuja island. Hancock's tears were visible the further away Galadriel went. A rather dramatic scene for everyone. But her, it truly changed everything.
Galadriel stared down and saw the island becoming smaller underneath her. "When I arrived at that place, I was just an unwanted visitor. Now, I leave with their loyalty and as a married woman," Galadriel giggled, shaking her head. I came, I saw, I conquered...? Still, I wonder how much my presence in this world has changed things.
"Truly, life takes weird turns," Galadriel sighed deeply, filled with contentment as the wind and the sea welcomed her. "Well... at the end of the day... I did put my head between Hancock's legs and much more. If that's not a victory. I don't know what it is."
Galadriel then flew away, watching her Log Pose and keeping track of her route.
On the New World, on a particular island, Perospero got ready to sail away. However, it was clear that it wasn't just a simple voyage to Paradise. Perospero understood clearly what was expected of him and what he was about to meet there. And it didn't have anything to do with the pirates there. They weren't on the level of the Charlotte family. It was the other pirates who were also going to sail towards there that he was concerned about.
"Quite the race this is, eh? Slurrrp~" Perospero chuckled as he glanced at his siblings. "It's going to be quite the turmoil in Paradise."
Soon, an incredibly tall woman emerged, slowly climbing into the ship.
"It's been quite some time since I travelled to Paradise," Charlotte Smoothie hummed. "I wonder, still, why Mama decided to send two of us."
Smoothie called, watching her older brother slowly climb into the ship. One of the Sweet Commanders. Charlotte Katakuri looked relatively unbothered by what would take place there. Yet, there was an apparent reason why he was going to that weak sea.
"King would definitely travel to Paradise and some of the Beast Pirates," Katakuri commented, looking at his siblings. "We must make sure to arrive first. But... if it comes to a fight, which it will. I'll handle him."
Katakuri stated, with no real fear in his voice. Those eyes of him showed no fear at the prospect of facing Kaido's right hand.
Perospero and Smoothie chuckled. They trusted their brother's words without second guessing. After all, Katakuri has never been defeated in battle.
"The Lunarian," Katakuri whispered, with his cold and severe voice. "Will come with us... even if I had to break her wings."
The Beast Pirates prepared their voyage on the other side of the New World. There, King looked ahead of him as their ship was preparing to sail away. The Lunarian has yet to be one to show anyone what he thinks or feels. Only Kaido could understand what he was feeling right now. King has been quiet since the news of another Lunarian appeared.
There wasn't much he could say about it. But with one look into his eyes, everyone could comprehend it.
"Only alive... of course, they want you alive," King muttered lowly as the fire surrounding his back became brighter. "I will not allow it. No matter what happens."
King then looked at the crew coming up with him. All strong Beast Pirates. All ready to kill, destroy, and achieve their goal.
"We are ready to sail!"
King watched then watched the sea one more time, and his eyes glowed intensely. "We will not fail, understood?" King growled, and everyone could sense this time was different from before. Especially since King was expressing way too much than he would regularly do.
Still, one thing was sure. Soon Paradise, and all of those rookies pirates, would taste the difference in power. And have a good look at what awaits them in the New World.
Garp smugly smiled at the fact that his grandson could escape him. Not that he genuinely tried. Garp was mainly just doing it because Sengoku was annoying him to do something about his family. He won't lie about it. Yet, Garp held quite the pride in his face, knowing that his grandson had made a name for himself. Although, sooner or later. Luffy and he would cross paths again. And it may not end on a positive note. That much, Garp knew.
"You decided to become a pirate... pff! What a troublesome grandson!" Garp laughed loudly as the marines on his galleon only looked at him nervously. Koby and Helmeppo just looked at each other, not knowing how to react to such words.
"You have quite the family, Garp," Aokiji stated, resting on his chair, looking unbothered by the whole thing. "Sengoku would like to hear about this... miraculous escape of him."
"Mmph! Let him ask away!" Garp replied, scoffing. "Old annoying man. Who does he think he is?!"
"The Fleet Admiral?" Aokiji replied, a bit amused.
"I didn't vote for him," Garp stated, scoffing loudly. "Still, how should we've known their new ship could fly? Buhahaha!"
"That was shocking," Helmeppo whispered as Koby nodded quickly.
"Luffy's ship is amazing!" Koby exclaimed, highly impressed.
Aokiji just let a slight hum, as he couldn't blame Garp's logic on that instance. Still, Aokiji wondered how far the Straw Hat crew would go. Their notoriety was only increasing, and it was only going to increase. And now that Nico Robin was with them officially. Aokiji simply felt he would hear from them a lot more for either good or bad.
"Mm, Garp, it's a huge possibility. They end up in the Florian Triangle."
"The Florian Triangle?!" Koby and Helmeppo exclaimed, shocked. "That terrifying sea, where ships go missing?!"
Garp scratched his chin, knowing it was their only other route. "Well, I'm sure he'll manage! Buahahaha!"
Aokiji sighed tiredly. "What kind of family is this?" He simply decided to stop thinking about something so bothersome. He merely put back his sleeping mask and hoped for a quick nap. However, just like Garp, Aokiji felt a sudden presence. A strong aura close to them. He quickly took his sleeping mask and looked around.
"Garp..."
"Yeah, there's something dangerously close to us," Garp replied quickly.
"Vice-Admiral Garp, Admiral Aokiji?" Koby, just like many, wondered where the sudden tension came from. It was heavy and stressful and filled them with anxiety. The marines looked around them but saw nothing but the sea ahead. No unknown ship was visible, nor even a sign of anyone persecuting them. But who would do such a thing? Who would be so foolish to attack Garp's ships? Especially with an admiral on board? However, the dread was palpable.
"Ararara!" Aokiji muttered, looking up to the sky. "She's there..."
Garp and Aokiji soon noticed who that person was and couldn't hide their surprise.
"That's..."
Up there, Galadriel, who was simply passing through, froze as she felt a presence down below her. A small Navy ship, and while Galadriel has seen many before, from just flying way above them up into the sky. This one felt like it contains two strong marines. Galadriel narrowed her eyes and looked at the two marines below her.
"Uhm, they look strong... their Observation Haki is good enough to notice me. Interesting. Could it be an Admiral?"
Galadriel decided to be more careful and suddenly shifted into her Thunderbird form, creating a powerful storm from which she used to escape away.
Next time, I'll check them out. Galadriel thought, leaving behind that particular marine ship under her storm just for them to not see where she was going. Although, she felt it wasn't needed. They didn't appear to have the intention to follow her at all.
"Mm, she left," Garp mentioned as the sudden storm started to hit his ship. "Her Observation Haki is nothing to be scoffed at."
"Mm, we can't follow her through this thunderstorm..." Aokiji replied with a tired tone. "I guess... we'll have to report to Sengoku that the Lunarian Queen is near us."
Garp scratched his chin tiredly. "Mm... well, I doubt we can do anything about it. But knowing, Sengoku, he'll send someone to find her."
Garp muttered, looking ahead of him to where the Lunarian was heading. He wondered what'll happen now.
Authors note
-Some of you have asked me about my other One Piece fanfic. One Piece: The Demon at the World End. And asked to make it into a full history. And like I say, it's just as of now. It's too much. I'm spread too thin. And just like I told you before. I'll change a lot of things and start from the beginning. So, the only way for me to make it into a full history is to drop another history. And I don't want to do that. Sorry. For now, it will remain as a One- Shot. That is, until I find the time or finish one of my histories. I'll let you guys know if that happens.
-Also, currently, Luffy and the company are on Thriller Bark. And I'll say it... I like that arc. I don't know why some people hated it. I genuinely like it. Also, I think Gecko Moria could have beaten Luffy easily if he weren't a slob and lazy fuck. This is the ark where we can see Luffy and the rest's weaknesses. That's why I love it. It's an excellent way to show us they aren't on that level yet.
-Also... Hancock's is hot.
-The next chapter will be a bit long, so expect it!
-I'll post a few arts about what Galadriel's Thunderbird and Basilisk form look like, stay tuned on my Tumblr!
