Chapter 7
Though Saboady Archipelago may experience intermittent disruptions from external forces like piracy, slavery, and clashes between the Marines and pirates, the general atmosphere of the area was one of tranquillity and stability. The residents of this region were typically able to carry out their daily routines without much interference and enjoy a relatively peaceful existence. As dark as reality could be. Nevertheless, it was something else that bothered Galadriel.
Galadriel simply stared out the window of the restaurant she was currently at while enjoying a delicious meal. It's been days since she arrived, and she has yet to find Roger's previous right hand. It was becoming quite annoying.
"Like really, when you told me he was troublesome, I didn't expect this, Roger," Galadriel muttered, annoyed while taking bites from her meal. However, her thoughts returned to the meeting she had with the members of the Revolutionary Army. The conversation was brief, but it helped her understand that these individuals were not simply rebels fighting against the World government for the sake of rebellion, especially that Dragon, their leader.
This Dragon seems to be this cautious man. He knows that the World government is hiding more and that nothing it's like it appears. Galadriel hummed deeply, wondering how much this Dragon knew about what happened 800 years ago. She doubted he knew it all. But Dragon may have had a few ideas, but something needed to be more concise. Still, it was good to let the door open for future talks. Galadriel would like to meet him in person. However, first, she must meet Rayleigh. She promised Roger she would ensure he was still alive and not deep in debt. But, as Roger told her. That was quite a challenging quest.
"An old retired pirate, drunk and neck deep in debt, who is addicted to gambling," Galadriel muttered with a scoff. "Where should I find someone like that?"
Galadriel has sent some Shadow Demons to search for Rayleigh. Still, since it was quite a large Archipelago, searching for the old pirate would take some time. An annoying endeavour but one she wanted to take care of before leaving.
Still, where could he be...?
Galadriel wondered deeply before standing up from her chair. "Thank you for the meal," Galadriel said, paying the bill before leaving the restaurant. However, before she left, she saw a small man entering with many people behind him. They all looked like a group of a Chicago mafia syndicate from the early 50s. She stood there, watching with her jaw open.
"They look so cool!" Galadriel whispered excitedly. Of course, she hid underneath her cloak but kept on looking.
"Could you move?" The small man, who seemed to be the leader, stated coldly.
"Oh, sorry," Galadriel replied quickly, allowing the little man and his entourage into the restaurant. "So cool."
It may look silly for someone like Galadriel to act like that, but she was a sucker for what she considered cool outfits or styles. A hobby of hers, maybe, an innocent one. But one she enjoyed when she could. Galadriel sighed and saw that more pirates were arriving at the archipelago.
The new batch of young pirates is arriving to set sail to the New World. Galadriel thought, wondering how many of them would actually survive those seas. Maybe she was being negative; she knew only of the New World because of what Rogert told her. But, still, she was sure she could survive there without a problem. However, those walking on the streets with smirks would face challenges that few would survive.
Galadriel hid her face under her cloak and walked on the streets since it was hard to find Roger's past friend. She decided to simply look around and waste time. Galadriel didn't have much to do as of now. Besides the past little meetings and happenings, Galadriel's little adventure was on standby. It was more of a waiting game for her to see what would happen. But something will take place. Otherwise, it would become boring relatively fast.
However, if she has learned anything was that this strange world was anything but boring. The number of new pirates arriving on the island would soon cause chaos. One Galadriel hoped to be entertaining.
Galadriel continued walking on the street, trying to remember something about Rayleigh. A little piece of information that she recalled being told before. But couldn't quite grasp it. "Ah, what it was...?" Galadriel muttered slowly, humming deep in thought.
"Am I growing old?" Galadriel muttered to herself, trying to remember. "Maybe, I should ask Hancock to remind me..."
A sudden voice soon stopped Galadriel's attention. "The chances of meeting a unique individual is 72%. The Survival rate if facing such an individual is of... 0%."
Galadriel turned around and saw, sitting near a fountain, a pirate shuffling some cards. The pirate was trying to catch his luck for the future and was meeting low numbers. Galadriel was quite intrigued about it. It could be a unique ability of sorts. So, with that in mind, Galadriel approached the strange man, who soon glanced up at her.
"Hello there," Galadriel spoke softly, removing her hood. "What type of ability is that?" She asked with genuine interest.
The man reshuffled the cards. "It's normal for one to present itself before asking questions. But that is no longer need it. Galadriel, the Lunarian Queen, bounty... 420,000,000 Berrys."
Galadriel raised an eyebrow as she saw the man looking at the cards again. Is this like some Tarot thing? Galadriel wondered. "I apologise for not introducing myself early," Galadriel stated, earning a slight nod from the man.
"My name is Basil Hawkins, a pleasure to meet you."
Galadriel had an amused look as she watched the quite polite pirate look at his cards again. He seemed deep in thought, watching his cards, playing with destiny. A genuinely fascinating individual, no doubt.
"How does it work?" Galadriel asked him. "It is a special ability? A Devil Fruit?"
Hawkins glanced at the card of the Devil on his hand and frowned slightly. He then stared at the woman before him, and those golden eyes seemed to reflect more than just power. It was a shivering sensation of being below her. Galadriel didn't have to say anything, but Hawkins just felt it. "It's not a Devil Fruit," he only replied. "It's destiny, and we are pawns to it."
"Pawns, uh?" Galadriel hummed. "I guess it some way. But in my humble opinion and experience. Sometimes, the randomness of life is destiny throwing darts into the night."
Hawkins glared at her with a deep frown, clearly not understanding her statement. "There's no randomness in destiny. That's not how it works."
"That's why I say in my experience," As Galadriel reflected on her past struggles and changes, she couldn't help but wonder if fate or some other force led her to where she was now. In the past, Galadriel didn't believe in any higher power or luck, but now she's not so confident. Maybe, there was a higher power, or maybe it was the universe being chaotic as always.
"It's possible that we're all just being used in a bigger plan, or things just happen without a clear explanation. It could be that we're at the mercy of fate, or we're just making foolish choices on our own. Who can say for certain?"
Hawkins didn't agree with Galadriel's words, so he reshuffled the cards, hoping to find an answer on his own. Eventually, he pulled three more cards that made him pause and think.
"The Tower, Judgment and the World."
Upon coming across the cards, Hawkins felt a sense of confusion and being overwhelmed. The situation left him feeling uncertain and unsure of how to proceed. He slowly glanced up to where Galadriel was simply smiling at him. "Do you believe in those words?" He asked her, which made her chuckle again.
"Our convictions and decisions determine our joy and sorrow in life. Sometimes we can't choose what happens to us. But, sometimes, it is within our power to shape and choose what happens next."
Galadriel was feeling inspired due to her upbeat mood. She firmly believed that anyone could change if they truly wanted to, even though it wouldn't be easy - nor should it be. Life presents enormous obstacles, and it's up to each individual to decide whether to overcome them or let them obstruct their path.
"I see," Hawkins whispered, taking one last card. Death... such a strange combination of cards. What are they trying to tell me? Hawkins saw it and closed his eyes before putting all the cards in his pocket. "It seems that we are in a disagreement with that."
"Mm?" Galadriel hummed, tilting her head. "Are you leaving?"
"I must find something to eat," Hawkins replied in a very non-chant tone. "And I can't help you with the person you're looking for."
"Oh, how did you know about it?" Galadriel asked, surprised, to which Hawkins simply raised an eyebrow at her.
"You were talking to yourself quite loudly. You should stop that. People would find out you're here if they aren't already aware."
Galadriel let a small awkward chuckle, forgetting how problematic that little quirk of hers could be. Still, Hawkins only walked away, deep in thought. Galadriel waved at him before sighing deeply. She thought he had an extraordinary power, but that wasn't the case.
"Mm, I guess I should begin my search again," Galadriel sighed before putting her cloak up again. "Now, where should I begin? I guess I should really call Hancock... ugh!"
Galadriel muttered before walking away.
With a big smile on her face, Shakky happily cleaned the dishes. She couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of the exciting boy she had met who wore a straw hat. It made her feel excited and happy to know that there are still people like him in the world today.
"Truly, what a refreshing sight to meet someone like him," Shakky smiled before soon noticing someone walking towards her bar. She frowned deeply, slowly putting the dishes down. "Who could it be?" She muttered slowly, knowing it wasn't Rayleigh or any other Straw hat crew.
Shakky raised an eyebrow when she heard a gentle knock on the door and someone saying, "Excuse me?" She appreciated the person's politeness for knocking before entering.
"You may enter," Shakky said, giving permission to a cloaked woman who arrived at her establishment. Initially, Shakky was puzzled about the woman's identity. Still, the woman removed her hood, revealing a face that Shakky had seen on wanted posters before. "My, my... I am having quite an interesting day."
"Good day," Galadriel bowed politely. "Are you Shakky?"
"That's right," Shakky said, smiling while lighting a cigarette. "I am Shakky. What can I do for you?"
Galadriel smiled. "I am looking for a pirate named Rayleigh. Do you know him? Old, drinks a lot, likes to gamble and is in debt."
Shakky simply laughed at the way the Lunarian was describing her husband. "Yes, you are describing my husband in great detail."
Galadriel smiled, happy to finally meet the famous Shakky, the previous Amazon Lily Empress. When Hancock told her about this woman. At first, she wasn't sure if she would help her. But then, when they told her who Shakky was married to. Galadriel wasn't sure if she should be worried or have some pity for the poor woman. But as far as she could see. Shakky didn't seem to be a frail princess. Nor a woman who didn't know who her husband was.
"So, why is the famous Lunarian Queen, Galadriel, looking for my husband?" Shakky asked as Galadriel sat near the counter.
"I came because an annoying pirate wanted me to check on his first mate," Galadriel replied gently, which made Shakky confused.
"Oh, is that old pirate friend of my husband?" Shakky asked, intrigued.
"You could say," Galadriel said. "He's been dead for a long time."
Shakky froze, almost dropping her cigarette. "Roger...?"
Galadriel only smiled, not saying anything else. Shakky took a deep breath as she pulled a drink from her cabinet. She served herself and asked Galadriel if she would like it, to which Galadriel declined politely.
"It seems you have so much to tell," Shakky said, making Galadriel chuckle.
"I guess you could say that," Galadriel replied. "It's been quite the adventure."
"Oh, could you tell me about it?"
"Mm, I can't tell you all..."
"I know, I know, Rayleigh already knows enough, and I am not asking about that. But more about your travels. Especially, how did you know me."
Galadriel state deeply. "Well, I can tell you that. But first... do you have something like cakes?"
Shakky hummed. "I don't have them, sorry. The last sweets were eaten not too long ago."
"Shame, do you have anything that you may not use...? Like that empty bottle?"
Shakky looked amused but gave Galadriel the empty bottle soon enough. She saw the white-haired girl point her finger at it before the bottle transformed into a delicious cheesecake. Galadriel began to eat happily.
"My, what a useful power," Shakky commented. "Devil Fruit?"
"Yep," Galadriel replied with her mouth full of cheesecake. "One of many."
"Oh...?" Shakky exclaimed, stunned. "Now I am truly interested."
Galadriel made sure her mouth was clean before she smiled. "Well, first, where is Rayleigh? Where can I meet him?"
"Mm, I don't know, honestly. Rayleigh's been gone for half a year. Maybe he got some problems with money and is somewhere. I'll suggest looking in the gambling houses or pubs," Galadriel groaned in response to Shakky's careless and slightly amusing comment.
"Great," Galadriel muttered.
"Don't worry about it. My husband, he'll come around sooner or later," Shakky announced happily.
"Well, I guess..." Galadriel's child-like whine made Shakky amused.
"Now, please tell me, how did you end up here?"
Galadriel only sighed. It seemed she'd have to wait again for something to happen. "Well, it all started a while ago..."
Galadriel shared with Shakky the events that had occurred since her arrival at the Grand Line. However, she chose to omit specific details, such as Laugh Tale and any information related to the events that took place 800 years ago. This was due to her concern for the safety of Rayleigh's wife. Additionally, she was curious to know if Shakky was already aware of this information. As a result, she refrained from discussing the topic. She was content not to reveal anything unless Shakky asked, which she didn't. Shakky knew what she should and shouldn't know.
A truly smart woman, Shakky was, no doubt about it.
Galadriel allowed her tale to truly show why she was there, and it seemed it worked as Shakky began to laugh. So, after almost an hour of talking, both women started to know more about each other.
"My, my, of all the things I expected to happen, this was not one of them," Shakky said, smiling. "I can't believe the stoic and arrogant Hancock would fall in love with you."
"Neither I," Galadriel replied, chuckling as she drank her tea. "But, now I am a married woman, strange the world can be."
"Oh, I know it truly can be," Shakky chuckled. "But, I am happy for both of you. Hancock's mistrust of men... or almost everyone who is not from Amazon Lily, was a poison filling her mind."
Galadriel hummed deeply, already sensing that was the case. "Past experiences, especially awful ones, can be quite traumatic. I know that for a fact."
Shakky cleaned the ashtray before lighting yet another cigarette. "Yes, what Hancock and her sisters' experienced as slaves didn't make things easy. I hoped that time would heal those wounds, but I was wrong. Forgetting... is not easy. And asking people to move on insults those who have suffered."
Galadriel stared at Shakky's eyes and saw that the woman in question had quite the skulls hiding in her closet. Shakky was a pirate at one point in her life and has done what she regrets.
"But she's fine. As beautiful, deadly, and still arrogant as ever," Galadriel joked, making Shakky smile.
"And I do hope you two have a great life together," Shakky replied with genuine honesty. "Marriage can have its fair share of challenges. Especially when it involves two pirates."
Galadriel simply nodded, finding the idea of marriage quite amusing. Her union with Hancock was not something she had anticipated, nor was it something she felt particularly attached to. Nevertheless, she was committed to being a supportive partner and doing everything possible to make the relationship work. Even though Galadriel had no idea of what a healthy relationship was.
"I want to make Hancock happy, although she could definitely be quite a handful," Galadriel chuckled as she spoke those words, which made Shakky smile.
"That's true."
Galadriel soon senses something coming from her Shadow Demon. Whispering words about something happening on the archipelago. Shakky didn't notice it, but Galadriel glared at the window where she could see fire coming from one in the distance. Mm, what's happening out there? Galadriel thought deeply. I should investigate.
"Galadriel?" Shakky asked, looking at the severe face of Galadriel, who seemed to be focusing on something outside the bar.
"Mm, Shakky, where could I find Rayleigh?" Galadriel asked again.
"Between 1 to 29... but truly, If I am being honest... I can't be sure."
"I see," Galadriel looked at Shakky, who seemed to be thinking deeply. "I must go... I need to find him. Also, something is happening out there..."
"Mm, with so many rookies, chaos was bound to happen," Shakky expressed. "Try to be careful out there, dear."
Galadriel shook her head amusingly that Shakky behaved like old friends. "I will be careful. Thank you."
"Ah, you're not the only one searching for him. A group of pirates was also searching for Rayleigh."
"Uh? Whom?"
"The Straw Hat Crew, maybe you'll meet them. They are quite the fun bunch," Shakky said, smiling at her, as Galadriel couldn't help but remember their previous meeting.
Uh, who would've thought? Our meeting is going to be sooner than I expected. Galadriel couldn't help but wonder if her meeting with the pirate crew would have any significance in the end. Galadriel couldn't shake the feeling that it might.
The Human Auctioning House was a terrible place where people's lives were sold to the highest bidder and where basic human decency was disregarded. Honestly, what a place to be if one were a wealthy prince or king. Yet for those who weren't there as buyers. The entire show was truly disgusting.
Nami looked around as she prepared to "buy" their friend Camie. They had approximately 200 million Berries, enough to buy her back at any cost. Yet, Nami couldn't help but feel so utterly disgusted that she was watching people being sold as if they were nothing but things, pieces of meat, or toys to be broken.
"These people have no shame?!" Sanji hissed furiously as he watched a young girl being sold off; there was nothing he could do about it. "They are not humans!"
"The fact that the World government turns a blind eye to this makes me wonder how much they are allowing to in the world," Franky spoke slowly.
"We will save her!" Pappagu sadly exclaimed, his trembling hands betraying the anxiety he felt. "I refuse to let Camie get sold to the likes of them!"
The Celestial Dragons' presence didn't improve things; deep inside, Nami hoped and truly wanted to believe they were there just to watch.
Soon enough, the lights went off, and a colossal presentation began to play, with music and drums. A circus of sorts. "A highly sought-after item, to be sure!" Disco exclaimed, filled with excitement, as the people in the human auction house began to share the same feeling. "Observe this silhouette!"
Soon, Camie's shadow was shown, and everyone already knew what it was.
"Now, let me present you our best item of today! Take a good look! All the way from Fish-Man Island! The Mermaid Camie!"
The house went crazy at the sight of a young mermaid, like a trophy, a unique item—a toy to play with.
"Camie!" Hatchan exclaimed, filled with horror and desperation. "They're selling Camie now!"
"Don't worry, Hatchi!" Nami whispered, holding her number. "We are going to save her, no matter what!"
Regrettably, the carefully crafted plans of those involved did not unfold as seamlessly as anticipated. It seemed that a great number of individuals, ranging from esteemed nobility to monarchs of various realms, harboured a keen interest in acquiring Camie for themselves. This was due to her unique and alluring status as a mermaid, which many sought to possess as a means of flaunting their wealth and status to others in a way that was decidedly pompous and self-serving. But none of them were as arrogant or pompous as the Celestial Dragons.
"I see that there's immense interest in this, our first mermaid in a while!" Disco exclaimed happily, licking his lips like a rabid dog devouring and tasting his meat. "Now, then! How much shall we start from?"
Everyone was ready to bid; they were counting on their money.
"All right! Let's begin with-!"
"500 million!" The Celestial Dragon, Charlos, shouted loudly, leaving everyone stunned. No one could compete against him since he was a Celestial Dragon - it was the norm. Even Disco was stunned since it was in his plan to increase the price. But different from this.
"I'll buy the mermaid for 500 million Berries! Now!" Charlos exclaimed, earning a few sighs from his family sitting beside him.
Nami couldn't believe what she was hearing. The shock was so much that she couldn't think properly. "How could that happen so suddenly?! We don't even have close to that much!"
Back below, the rest of the Celestial Dragons were rather amused by the whole thing. "What another waste of money. You have piranhas in your aquarium, you know?"
Charlos hummed at his father while picking his nose. "I'm going to have them chaser her for fun. Merfolk are the fastest swimmers in the world! I want to see that!" he only replied.
"Big brother, could I have her once you tire of her? I want to see how their scales work," Charlos sister asked, earning a nod from him.
"Alright, you may, once I'm done with her."
The Straw Hat crew were clenching their hands, biting their lips, desperately thinking of a way to save Camie. But couldn't think of anything. They knew they couldn't do anything so publically, especially before a Celestial Dragon. It would be a death sentence to them.
The only thing they could think of was too, perhaps, find a way to free her from that slave necklace and help her go to the sea. But every minute they spent talking. It put Camie closer to a life in slavery.
"The bidding has ended! Today's super showcase item, the mermaid Camie, is being sold to Sait Charlos-!"
Before Disco could even finish his sentence, chaotically entering the slave house was Luffy and Zoro, who were mounting a flying fish of sorts, and who didn't seem to know what they had brought on themselves. Not that they cared, of course.
"What's your problem?! You can land better than that!" Luffy yelled.
"I can't! It's a flying fish! Besides, you said to run into it!" The rider exclaimed.
"You told me to just get on, remember, Luffy?" Zoro muttered, still sore from the fall.
Luffy just muttered angrily before looking around the room. "Camie! I came here to rescue you!" Luffy yelled with all the mighty of his lungs, as Camie couldn't only cover her mouth, overwhelmed with emotions. Luffy was finally there, and things were going to be alright. Or so she thought.
Galadriel could feel it. Something big started as she watched the Marines arriving at the island incredibly fast. Warships were being called, and soon enough, a large group of elite marines were preparing themselves for a possible battle. Galadriel hummed, watching from a distance, following them from the shadows. Galadriel was flying while using an invisibility ability.
"I wonder where are they all heading?" Galadriel muttered before looking in the distance at a strange building. She frowned, but soon enough, she saw a word written all over it. "Human...? Is this one of those slave houses?"
Galadriel let a slightly disgusted growl as she observed the Navy surrounding that place. Whoever was inside that place brought the entire forces of the Navy to them. And it made her quite interested to see who it could be. Eventually, she noticed that there was a large hole in the roof of the building. It allowed her to see that a group of pirates seemed to be fighting for some reason. However, Galadriel could easily recognise a distinctive straw hat moving around.
"I see..." Galadriel muttered before deciding to include herself in whatever shenanigans the Straw Hats were doing down there. Also, if she could guess. Maybe Rayleigh was also there. Galadriel would allow destiny to play its part and see where it took her.
Slowly, she flew down, carefully making sure to first see who was down there. And so a big fight was taking place. Galadriel hummed, watching the Straw Hat pirates fighting the guards, and while she couldn't quite see why was the reason for fighting. It took no genius that it had to do with slaves. Maybe, one of their friends was captured, and they were trying to save that person. If that was the case, then Galadriel understood.
"This is unforgivable!"
Galadriel saw a woman wearing a bubble on her head screaming angrily. "A celestial dragon, eh?" Galadriel muttered as the woman pointed a gun into a mermaid's head.
"For mere commoners to dare to strike the creators of this world's descendants! Unforgivable!" The woman yelled. "All because of this mermaid!"
Galadriel now saw who was the Straw Hats friend. The small girl seemed utterly terrified and tried to move away from the pistol aim, but without luck since she was trapped inside her water prison.
"Then, I'll kill this mermaid that they're after!"
"Ah! The 500 Million Berries!"
"Silence, you filthy commoner!"
Galadriel hissed as she saw the woman shut the auditioner. Nevertheless, she didn't care about a slavers life. But an innocent person sold into slavery was a different thing. "I hate them so much."
Galadriel decided to intervene before she could teach that annoying Celestial Dragon some manners. Galadriel felt a sudden wave of energy coming from inside the place. But it was small, just a tiny wave of Haki, which means that whoever used it knew how to control it to that extent.
"Could it be...?" Galadriel muttered before releasing her incivility skill. Soon enough, that woman fell to the ground, unconscious. But what took the attention of Galadriel and everyone there was that the wall was destroyed by someone with strenght enough to ignore brick and steel. And following that person was a giant. Yet, Galadriel only focused on the old man, who kept a smirk on his face.
"I found you..." Galadriel smiled as she stared down below her at the person she's been looking for all this time.
"See, Mr Giant," the old man said. "The place is in a real uproar. I'd say the auction's over. I've stolen some money now, so I guess I'll head back to the gambling houses...!"
"You're one disagreeable old man... You were only here to get some money?" the giant muttered in disbelief, and Galadriel could only nod in agreement.
"I was hoping for a chance to steal from whoever bought me too... but who would want an old man like me?! Hahaha!"
Galadriel groaned deeply. Yep, this is definitely Rayleigh.
Soon enough, Rayleigh looked around and saw the guards, the pirates, and Hatchan on the ground bleeding. As well as Camie with a slave necklace. It was all it took for him to deduce what was taking place. However, he could feel someone else watching him. And it was someone who was truly above all the pirates before him. Rayleigh looked up and saw two pairs of golden eyes watching him, and the face, was one he recognised quickly.
"Young lady, it is dangerous to be here," Rayleigh called, as everyone seemed confused since they didn't know who he was talking to. But a loud sigh made them all look up too.
"That's...!" Among them, who gasped at how Galadriel simply flew down, was Robin, who saw the supposed Lunarian gently touch the floor. Galadriel turned around and saw the Straw Hats crew and two other pirate crew. She frowned before recognising one of them.
"Trafalgar Law, it's been a while," Galadriel called, making Trafalgar nod slowly. Surprised to see her there. "Straw hats, a pleasure."
"Uh, who are you?" Luffy asked, tilting his head.
"Ah, that's true. Luffy was unconscious," Nami said, snapping back to reality. "He didn't have the opportunity to meet her before."
"Meet her? Who is she?" Luffy asked again, making Galadriel chuckle.
"My name is Galadriel. I heal your wounds back on Thriller Bark."
"Oh... thank you!" Luffy exclaimed happily.
Galadriel shook her head, amused by him. Yet, she glanced at Rayleigh, who had a very intrigued look on his face. "I've been searching for you, Rayleigh."
Rayleigh raised an eyebrow at that. "Oh? And why could that be?" He asked.
"A friend of mine wanted me to check on you. Our good friend wanted me to tell you that it's been years, stop sulking and keep moving forward," Galadriel's words made Rayleigh freeze in place. He didn't know how to react for a few minutes or if he could believe those words. However, that smile and eyes were telling him the truth. And it made him laugh.
"So... you've met him?" Rayleigh asked her, with tears in his eyes.
"I was... born there, so yeah... he can be very annoying, y'know?"
Rayleigh again laughs. "Yes, he can... very stubborn too."
Galadriel and Rayleigh chuckled among each other. However, the rest staring at them needed clarification about what they discussed.
"I'll like to hear about it," Rayleigh told Galadriel, who nodded, smiling.
"Yes, but now... I think we have some matters to attend to."
"Mm, you're right."
The rest of the pirates were quite confused about what would happen, but one thing was clear. Rayleigh, and this Lunarian, seemed to share a mutual friend. And who was that friend? They didn't know.
Authors note!
-Sorry for taking such a long time to update this particular fanfic, but the reason for it, it's because... well, the current One Piece is going crazy. Like, Oda is cooking right now. So, I am waiting for whatever craziness will await us in the following manga chapters.
-Also, some people were saying how Galadriel stole Luffy's love interest and while I understand it... c'mon... to say it's just a one-way love interest between Luffy and Hancock would be an overstatement. It's like a goddam one-way highway. The only way for Luffy to actually see Hancock as a love interest is if he were interested in love at all or if Hancock was food. Still, I get it. I truly do. I am one of those who truly want Luffy and Hancock to end up together at the end of One Piece. You know? Like Goku and Chichi. But we are all dreamers.
-I want to add also that, do Devil Fruits have weaknesses against each other right? Like, I remember the fact that the only reason Luffy beat Enel was that he was made of rubber. Quite the plot armour, eh? Still, please, if you have some ideas for a Devil Fruit, please share them with me!
