Chapter 6:

A lot has occurred within the following days in Beacon involving both Team RWBY and the Doctor. Seems for now that things were in good terms with Weiss and the rest of her team and welcoming Blake after finding out she was a Faunus but with the Doctor, it would seem they have become distant from each other which both Team RWBY and JNPR noticed and would plan an idea soon to have them reconcile. Not that long, Team RWBY met a strange girl named Penny outside of Beacon which instantly became friends with Ruby. As for the Doctor, more flashes of memories kept hitting him and while it is not clear, he now remembers two things: A Dalek and a city that was destroyed but the old man he saw would still appear in his head every time a new memory returns. But for right now, he was following Ruby Rose who told him there was an emergency with Weiss.

Ruby: In here! *Goes inside*

The Doctor follows and sees a giant web with Weiss tangled up in it and blindfolded. He noticed the same vine that was on her neck now fully spread around her arm. It hurt him to the core to see her like this and it isn't the first time, just the other day after his argument with Weiss, Jaune fell victim to this same situation and all of Team JNPR were tied up and teleported to some kind of dream world within Jaune's mind. It took them most of the day but they were able to save him. When it was done, a creature came out and it looked like a poisonous rose.

*FLASHBACK*

Pyrrha: Jaune is freed!

Shion: Copy that, awaiting the nightmare.

Out of the web comes out the Nightmare Grimm as it flies around trying to escape. Team RWBY watch in shock as the Doctor watches in amazement. He knows these creatures are vile and dangerous but he wants to know where they come from and why do they keep coming. His thoughts came to an end when he noticed the Nightmare get captured by Shion.

The Doctor: Whoa! Whoa! What are you doing?

Shion ignores the Doctor question as they launched the Grimm into a machine which kills it. The Doctor looks in disappointment as Shion approaches him.

Shion: No Grimm should ever be left alive. You shouldn't feel pity for a creature that has killed innocent lives in the past.

The Doctor: Rather than killing it, we could have found a way to track where it comes from and send a warning to their creator.

Shion once again ignored the time lord as they approached Team JNPR waking up.

*END FLASHBACK*

The Doctor watched his friend being poisoned by this vile thing as he looked at Team RWBY with a sharp glare at them.

The Doctor: Tell me what happened and I. Want. Everything.

Ruby: W-We don't know. We found her like this and she was unresponsive.

Blake: That's when we found the vines around her.

The Doctor: This creature feeds on negativity which explains Weiss attitude for the last few days, not only was she letting her ego get the best but the Nightmare was mostly in control of her. *Looks at Shion* How do we bring her back?

Shion: One must enter the mind of Weiss and find the Nightmare before sending in the entire group.

The Doctor was ready to volunteer to save his friend but is abruptly interrupted by Ruby Rose putting her hand up in the air.

Ruby Rose: I'll do it. She's my friend and teammate! As captain as well, I volunteer to jump in her mind.

Shion: Very well then. Should it get out of control just alert me and I'll bring you out.

The Doctor: Ruby, you must realize that considering your last conversation with Weiss didn't end so well. She finds you; she will most likely try to finish you at the spot.

Ruby: I know Weiss and she would never do such a thing like that. She may see things different and judge me but I know she still has a good heart. I just find the nightmare, save her, and bring her back.

Yang: She's got this! My little sister always has a way.

The Doctor did trust Weiss's teammates but he knows too well that this is a concerning situation and a very dangerous creature. He watches Ruby lay on the web as Shion puts her to sleep with a blindfold around her eyes.

Jaune: Hey.

The Doctor: Hello.

Pyrrha: She'll be alright William. She's strong and she's got her team.

The Doctor: That's not my biggest concern. I've seen how well Team RWBY are when they are together or with only two people. It's the creature that is feeding on Weiss's thoughts and emotions. Where does it come from? Who created it? Will it die if we capture it or retreat back to its creator?

Nora: You sure say a lot more questions every time you get memories back.

Ren: Nora!

The Doctor: *chuckles softly* Not clear memories but more like knowledge of what I already know. Feel like I'm not even from here at all.

Jaune: Well, wherever you are from; You sure know your stuff.

An hour has passed and nothing has changed as everyone still waited for a response by Ruby. It was beginning to concern Blake and Yang until suddenly, Ruby wakes up gasping for air.

Yang: RUBY! *Runs to her*

Blake: What happened? Did you find Weiss?

Ruby took a deep breath to relax herself before she nods but everyone knew something was off with Weiss not waking up.

Ruby: I found her but she was completely different from how we all know her. She was like this general figure and I was a wanted criminal in her world. Is that how she sees me...

The Doctor: No. The nightmare is filling her with what she desires which is perfection. It's creating a perfect world where it goes how she imagines it: No Criminals, No Faunus, and No Grimms. And while she continues to live in that "perfect" world of hers, the Nightmare will continue to kill her slowly until nothing is left.

The room was in complete silence by the response of the Time Lord, despite that he still doesn't know who he truly is, his intelligence did return to a full steam as he would talk like this when they first met him.

Shion: So then what do you suggest Mr. Smith?

The Doctor: Ruby, Blake, and Yang must all go in there together to stop the nightmare and free Weiss. I'm going to join as well.

Blake: Wait a second William! We understand and know that we are going inside Weiss mind but You?! You aren't in condition to-

The Doctor: There is no time. Every second, every minute, every hour that passes by, Weiss will slowly die.

Without hesitation, The Doctor and rest of Team RWBY get onto the web as Shion after debating whether it was a good idea or not decided to go with it as she puts all of them to sleep.

*IN THE DREAM WORLD*

Blake wakes up to find herself looking at the cold sky and feeling something cold and soft around her. She gets up to see she's sitting on snow but no sign of her teammates around.

Blake: Yang? Ruby? William?

Walking nearby a lake hoping to find her team soon, she notices her appearance in the water and while most of herself looks the same, she noticed her hands are claws and one of her ears is her Faunus ear with the other side is a bow.

Blake: Is this how she sees me?

Yang: Aww, you look cute.

Blake: Thanks? What's with the motorcycle?

Yang: I don't know, I just found it when I woke up. Looks like Weiss knows my taste.

Ruby: But look at what she did to my Crescent Rose.

Ruby activates her infamous weapon only to come out in all the wrong ways to her disappointment not realizing the gun is pointing towards Yang and Blake as they move to the side fast.

Ruby: It shouldn't be coming out of there. What if I accidentally shoot someone?

Yang: Gotta get used to it, I guess. Wait, where's William?

The trio looked around for the Doctor until they noticed him standing up on the hill and surprisingly, he remains with the school outfit. It would seem not even Weiss would know how to picture the Time Lord.

Blake: What do you see William?

Ruby: Did you find Weiss?

The Doctor: No. I see what is called a "perfect" little world. We don't have enough time, let's get a move on. *Walks down the hill*

Above them, hanging from a tree is a bat watching them head to town as it flies off to a giant castle. Once it goes inside, he enters a dark room where a familiar face is writing on her journal.

Whitley: My dear majesty, it would seem the girl known as Ruby Rose has returned.

Nightmare Weiss: *sighs* She does not learn at all does she? Like always.

Whitley: She is not alone though. Two other girls and a man are accompanying her.

Nightmare Weiss: Her sister Yang and that Faunus Blake. But you said a man...William...

Her eyes widen at the realization that she didn't expect him to join her team in her world. It didn't matter now as she gets up putting her officer gear and heading out. Behind her lays the Nightmare Grimm covering the other side with vines and inside of it lays a mirror. But inside the mirror lays another Weiss, the real one banging on the mirror with tears in her eyes.
