(Chapter 2: Time for a Dungeon y'all)
It would be around a week and a half later of Adrian as the Gamer in question had received good news both in the Aono's deaths being ruled as a random arsonist having gone murder-happy and killed the family, which he was thankful for in taking any heat off him. Combining it with the fact that his monster-slaying had yielded success in him growing to Level 18 to nearly 19, as ambush hunting monsters would do just that and because of it had managed to get him to a high enough level to where he felt confident to go into a dungeon.
(July 9th, 2016, Adrian's House, 11:37 Am)
It was nearly noon as Adrian was in his room dressed in clothes that he was fine getting ruined by his 1st trip into a dungeon ready to get things started.
"Alright, heads or tails." Adrian said to himself as he tossed a coin into the air before catching it in his hands
'Well, heads it is then. I guess that means I'm taking a trip to the Celestial side of things.' Adrian thought to himself as he pocketed the coin and selected said dungeon
Near immediately the pyromancer felt the world around him warp and distort around him like he was on an acid trip, all before being consumed in bright azure light that within moments felt everything almost instantly snap into reality once more as the light subsided. With Adrian taking in the sight around him that had him feel almost guilty that he was gonna soon turn the place and every living thing here into ashes in his time here.
The skies were of a bright cerulean blue with hints of orchid streaking across it that while a reddish-gold sun shined overhead, with fields of verdant green that were streaked with oak and peach trees that seemed to tower overhead. Combined with the smell of peaches and strawberries and the small streams of rushing water beside him made him feel at peace with a calming breeze rushing over him, all while one thought pervaded his mind as he went forward.
"It's a damn shame that I'm gonna be torching this place. Oh well, getting more levels in Pyromancer definitely trumps this place looking fucking fantastic." Adrian said to himself as he traversed into the dungeon in feeling almost guilty that he was gonna torch a good chunk of this place to ash and cinder
With Adrian soon encountering a group of Lightsworn monsters that were training themselves until he cast Melf's Minute Meteors and quickly fired them off in quick succession, watching with dark joy as they exploded against his targets. He immediately cast Ash Cloud twice to blanket the area in superheated ash that had them coughing and stumbling about to try and get out of the widespread ash cloud, the pyromancer then immediately cast Pyroblast 4 times over sending a quartet of fiery boulders out into the ash cloud.
A grin of sinister delight came across his face upon watching everything explode into a small inferno as they were stumbling and running about trying to put themselves out, he then thrust his hands out and cast Burning Hands. The Lightsworn monsters gathered soon screamed in pain as a cone of emerald flame soon overtook them, with Adrian seeing some of them trying to escape and as such had cast Flaming Sphere to take care of those who would try to escape.
Between Adrian turning himself into a human flamethrower with Burning Hands mixed with the occasional Pyroblast to expedite his incineration of them, all the while the Flaming Sphere streaked about burning and melting the flesh of those who tried to scrabble away. With it being moments later as the Gamer stood amidst the burnt, charred or melting corpses of the Lightsworn monsters around him, as Adrian dispelled the Flaming Sphere while grinning as the massacre had given him a level up to 19.
"Let's see at the rate I'm going I should be able to hit 20 or 21. Not to mention holy shit is this fun." Adrian spoke in both finding a malevolent joy in burning them into charred corpses and surmising that at the rate he was going he'd be hitting the 20's of his Pyromancy class
"Oh well, onwards with more incineration!" Adrian near exclaimed to himself as he continued onwards
With a spring in his step and a smile on his face that was a mix of sinister enjoyment and ever-increasing joy that came from burning his enemies into charred and burnt corpses, as he went about scorching and searing any of the monsters that came his way. Besides the Lightsworn monsters that he came across he had encountered Constellar monsters such as Constellar's Kaus, Antares, Pollux, and Sombre that although they tried to kill him and managed to get some hits on him still fell before his incendiary might.
The Pyromancer continued his trek of incendiary carnage across the landscape that had the skies soon become filled with thick smoke and the air becoming tainted by the increasingly potent stench of burning flesh that pervaded the area. Once tall trees having been reduced to burning towers of charred wood that obscured the brightly colored sky with smoke while burning leaves soon fell to the ground and covering the grassy fields in jet black ash, with Adrian during his trail of destruction reveling in having gradually turned the area into a flame and smoke-filled hellscape.
His joy was only enhanced as he had made it to level 22 nearing 23 of Pyromancer with him soon stopping after having a considerable chunk of his health taken out through all of it, and his MP worn away had stopped to marvel at his handiwork. A broad grin crossing his face as he looked to see the charred carcasses and once serene area having been reduced to a burnt nightmarish shell of itself, with Adrian having to admit that this was quite a productive use of his time.
"Just one more and I'm gone." Adrian said to himself as he shot a Psybeam to finish off a Constellar Antares sending it spiraling headfirst into the ground
'That takes care of that. Hmph..well time to head out.' Adrian thought as he snapped his fingers and had himself transported back into his room
"Now that I'm back, time to see what new stuff I got for being level 22." Adrian spoke as he decided to see what new skills he gained
Scorching Ray
MP Cost: 500
Range: 60 feet
Type: Ray
You create a trio of rays made of searing flame to strike out at your opponent(s). Each ray deals 360 + INT*2 fire damage. An additional ray is fired off every 10 INT you have.
Explosive Trap
MP Cost: 450
Range: 30 Feet
You point to an area that isn't currently occupied by a creature and a 10-foot radius explosive rune appears. It briefly glows brightly before turning near invisible. Creatures can make an INT check contest by your INT to try and find it. Any creature that stands on or activates it in any way will trigger the rune causing it to explode. All creatures in a 20-foot radius must make a DEX saving throw against your INT or take 360+ (INT *2.5) Fire Damage. Will take half damage on a successful save.
Fire Resistance (Apprentice)
You gain a 15% resistance to fire damage
Overheat
MP Cost: 630
Range: 30 feet
You point towards a target within range and cause an aura of searing flame to wrap around and burn them and spread to your enemies. This spell deals 450 + (CON+INT) Fire damage over the next minute. Enemies within 5 feet of the target must make a Dex saving throw or the aura will leap onto them and cause the effect to spread to them.
"So many fun spells to try out. Oh man, all of the combos and traps I can set up with this stuff is gonna be amazing." Adrian chuckled to himself at all the possibilities of his new spells that were given to him, but the pain of his injuries soon stopped that
"But...first things first time to recover for a while. Because man did I take a hit from all those attacks." Adrian said gritting his teeth as he decided it would be best to relax for a while
(The next night later, Hiroshima, Japan, July 10th, 2016, 10:14 Pm)
It was the next night later as our Pyromancer was out and about doing some monster hunting to test out his new spells gained and had found a target in the form of a minotaur of all things.
'Well, you'll make a fine target.' Adrian thought as he cast Scorching Ray at said Minotaur
Soon enough 19 rays of scorching fire rushed forward towards the monster who brayed in anger as they all impacted him like machine-gun fire, with the Gamer seeing the scorched fur of the 7 and a half foot tall minotaur who stood as a hulking mountain of reddish-brown furred muscle with foot and a half long ivory horns and massive ham sized fists. Wearing scorched pants turned shorts that stretched across its broad frame and its shirt having been burnt away from the attack, its dark blue eyes burning with rage as it soon went into a charge to try and gore the pyromancer, the charge was soundly countered by him casting Ash Cloud to blind it.
The Minotaur already in motion found itself blinded and its eyes burning from the superheated ash that covered its eyes, causing it to crash headfirst into a brick wall where it briefly struggled to rip itself from the rubble. While it was doing this Adrian cast Explosive Trap 3 times over before getting some distance before they went off, with him some 20 feet away as the Minotaur managed to get out of the cloud of superheated ash only for it to eventually stomp it's way onto the Explosive Traps that the Pyromancer had set up.
With subsequent small explosions being heard along with the sound of pained and furious braying from being blown up, he merely awaited the Minotaur to compose itself as he set up for Explosive Traps around the area. By the time he was finished the Minotaur came out a smoking, burnt and semi-bloody mess, huffing in rage and anger that out of nowhere this human had got the jump on him and burned him this much.
'Good to know that those spells have worked out wonderfully.' Adrian thought to himself pleased with the effectiveness of his spells
"I'll tear you limb from fucking limb, ya piece of shit!" The Minotaur bellowed as it prepared to charge after the pyromancer
"Well, you can certainly try. But you'll be in flames before you get the chance." Adrian responded with a sure of himself grin on his face
With Adrian running away from the Minotaur who charged after him and in doing so activated the multiple Explosive Traps that had been set up prior, which caused small explosions to echo and be heard throughout the night. The Pyromancer soon saw that with the small distance gained between himself and the Minotaur that it was still coming after him, so to slow it down and gain more distance he shot out 4 Psybeams in quick succession that struck the monster center mass of its broad chest.
The Gamer thanking what luck he had as the Psybeams had caused it to enter a state of confusion evident by it stumbling about and crashing and charging into things, the near cartoonish manner of which was enough to make him chuckle for a bit. All before taking off again to let the Minotaur continue smashing into things as though he were in an old-timey cartoon while making off like a bandit had cast Explosive Trap along the way to make sure that while he could follow him that it was still gonna hurt like hell.
With Adrian having gotten a safe enough distance away from the Minotaur to where he could now safely regenerate his mana and prepare for his next onslaught of attacks against it, all he had to do now was choose a suitable hiding spot so that he could unleash the next onslaught of attacks. Minutes and multiple small explosions later the smoking and burnt form of the Minotaur whose horn showed a few cracks in it was currently stomping his way across the streets of Nagasaki.
"Gotcha bitch." Adrian said under his breath
With him firing off twin Psybeams that caught it off guard as it found the beams of psionic energy had it stumbling backward where the moment its right hoof stumbled back a few feet onto the concrete a ring of dark emerald glyphs glowed brightly revealing a baker's dozen of Explosive Traps. The result was a modestly sized explosion going off in the process leaving a small crater in the aftermath where chunks of the minotaur's flesh had been further blown apart leaving it staggering and yet still holding on if just barely.
Therefore Adrian decided to put the monster out of its misery by firing off Pyroblasts in rapid succession that combined with him casting Melf's Minute Meteors the Minotaur didn't really stand a chance as the incendiary attacks slammed into it. The fiery bombardment continued until Adrian was left with a few hundred MP and the end result was the Minotaur reduced to a scorched carcass of blackened flesh and burnt up bones, the pungent smell of which invaded the air around him yet at this point became the norm with what he normally did.
"Man I am killing it right now!" Adrian said to himself with a cheerful grin that so far he'd been absolutely killing it all things considered
At the rate you're going, you just may be ready for what I've got planned to help speed up your growth. Well, that and to give me some further entertainment while we're waiting for canon to kick off.
"What do you got set up for me?" Adrian questioned the game as to what it was setting up for him
As it stands that whole Fairy Tale thing that's going on. Well, that's all still getting set up to pop off in about a little less than a year and a half to two years. So I figured why not have one of their members. Namely, a Subdivision Deputy or two be stationed here for you to fight as bosses of the area.
"Alright, I can dig that. So when do I start goin' up against one of them?" Adrian questioned as to when he would be able to start fighting against one of them
I'd say hold off until your hitting level 60 or 70 of what you got now and take an additional class to be on the safe side.
"Alright, I'm good with that. Anyways, I might as well get to work on that. What better way than turning anything in my crosshairs into a goddamn ash pile."
Adrian said with a smile on his face at continuing to turn whatever came his way into ashes or charred corpses
Before you go, you really should check your stuff more often. Here are some perks you've gained so far
For reaching 100 INT you gain the following perk. Keen Mind Perk
Your mind is able to recall and memorize what you've read and observe with great accuracy due to having obtained a photographic memory.
For having reached 100 Wis you gain Wiseman's Wisdom
XP gains for classes are now made easier
Mana Regen is now 20% faster.
"Keen Mind is gonna make, making target lists so much easier." Adrian said to himself in being very much happy with the Keen Mind perk
(3 days later, Celestial Dungeon, 12:43 Pm, July 13th, 2016)
It was a few days later with Adrian during a combination of repeated trips to the Dungeon and monster-slaying was at level 29 of his Pyromancer class and was currently going through incinerating whatever came his way.
"I swear this is real great progress I'm making." Adrian said as he continued to scorch his adversaries into burnt carcasses
The Pyromancer at this point in time had gone through it again with him having a broad grin at the destruction he caused as he walked through the smoke-filled and burning hellscape he'd created. With him taking this time to enjoy some snacks he'd brought along that apparently with his body acting on video game logic had helped to replenish some of his health, which was very much welcome in his mind.
With it being around 10 more minutes of scorching the creatures of the dungeon to burnt carcasses and making it to a 3rd of the way to level 30 that he soon reached what he could only assume was his 1st mini-boss of the dungeon. That being none other than Constellar Pleiades standing 10 yards away from him, its white and golden armor shining in all its glory while holding a 2-handed white bladed saber with a wide golden handguard that made it look like a majestic yet futuristic knight ready to do battle.
'Alright let's see what I'm up against.' Adrian thought to himself while using Observe on Constellar Pleiades to see what he was getting into
Constellar Pleiades
Level:52
Rank: Veteran
HP: 43,200/43,200
MP: 3,600/3,600
SP: 18,000/18,000
STR: 172
DEX: 96
CON: 144
INT: 39
WIS: 48
CHA: 60
LUC: 58
Description: One of the many Constellar Knights that have served as otherworldly guardians from the stars and heavens above. With Pleiades focusing on strong offense and using its power to banish foes, if only for a short time. Pleiades currently hates your fucking guts for slaughtering so many in the realm.
"Can't really blame him." Adrian muttered to himself in not really blaming Constellar Pleiades
"So you are the foul monster who has run amok in our realm." Constellar Pleiades spoke in a voice reminiscent of a stereotypical knight from medieval times
"Well, they were in my way so I got them out of it. Besides, I made your place look a whole lot better if I'm honest." Adrian replied in finding the place to look like something out of a power metal album
"Thy will pay for this with their life." Constellar Pleiades spat gripping its saber and rushing towards the Pyromancer
Adrian quickly cast Scorching Ray at Constellar Pleiades who managed to dodge out of the way of a handful of them but was still got by a little over half as they struck upon his armor like a shotgun blast, with the Pyromancer quickly casting Ash Cloud 3 times over to give himself cover against the Constellar. Meanwhile, the Constellar in question was searching around trying to find his way out of the cloud of ash before a trio of Psybeams came crashing into him that briefly illuminated the dense cloud of superheated ashes that surrounded it.
While Constellar Pleiades was trying to make its way out of the large ash cloud, the Gamer was busy casting Explosive Trap surrounding the creature in an interconnecting ring of explosive runes that would bombard him the moment he got close to escaping. Once he'd finished his handiwork he quickly rushed off to take cover and replenish his mana so that he could launch another chain of attacks against the Constellar, for there was no way in hell he was getting up close to the creature to fight it.
Soon enough Constellar Pleiades had managed to navigate its way to just 10 feet of the dense cloud only to soon find the area around him growing even hotter as multiple glyphs of bright green glowed bright around him, surrounding him in an interlocking ring of 3 or maybe 4 dozen. The end result was the thick cloud of searing hot ash erupting into a large fireball of absinthe green, with the Gamer being glad he was such a good distance away from the almost deafening sound of the explosion that left Constellar Pleiades quite damaged.
'So far I am in the fucking clear.' Adrian thought to himself and saw that his trick worked and brought Pleiades to around half its health
"Where are you, despicable demon?! Come out here so you can be shown justice for your crimes!" Constellar Pleiades demanded as it still held its ground despite its heavily scorched and cracked armor
He gained his answer when 4 Psybeams came one after the other and blew out chunks of its armor revealing pale gold flesh underneath while its helmet began to bleed ichor of what looked like quicksilver from the assault of psychic attacks. Despite this it never dropped its saber as it turned to see where the attacks had come from only for him to have a Flaming Sphere come crashing into him, repeatedly burn away at and scorch at his armor like a fiery wrecking ball.
Constellar Pleiades soon found himself swinging away at the sphere of arcane fire, trying to cut into it with it's saber so that it could then pursue Adrian and vanquish the pyromancer for all the death and destruction he'd wrought. While the knight-like Constellar was distracted by his Flaming Sphere, Adrian fired off 8 Pyroblasts in quick succession at the monster, the flaming boulders crashing into and shattering against it and nearly knocking it over but despite that still held his ground against the onslaught.
This was further followed up by Adrian casting Scorching Ray and unleashing a salvo of rays made of searing flame that had the majority impacted against him as he managed to use his sabre to block a small number of them. The resulting amount of damage was enough to bring Constellar Pleiades to its knees its armor smoking and its flesh sustaining heavy burns from the incendiary attacks that had managed to cook its flesh from within its armor.
The knight of a Constellar only had enough time to look up before another Scorching Ray was cast in tandem with a trio of Pyroblasts that although it tried to deflect the Flaming Sphere had blinded it temporarily, via smashing itself into his cracked helmet. With the area around Pleiades soon being a literal fire pit evident by the earth being heavily scorched by all of Adrian's spells and cracked away by all of the damage wrought and there lies the soon fading form of Pleiades who was a burnt and broken shell of its former self.
"That takes care of that, and sweet level 32." Adrian spoke in seeing himself gain 3 and a half levels from killing Pleiades
'Now let's see what I got from killing the bastard.' Adrian thought to himself as he went to see what he gained from killing
Amulet of the Constellar's
An artifact of the Constellars, this carries with it the heavenly light of these otherworldly beings to augment one's strength. Be it physical or arcane with that same light they wield.
All damage-dealing spells and weapon attacks cast/used will now deal additional Radiant damage equal to your (Wisdom * 2).
Grants 10% Resistance to Radiant Damage
"I will not complain about extra damage being added on to my spells. Besides, it is a pretty cool looking amulet." Adrian said as he looked over the amulet
The chain was made of bright silver that led to an orb that became octagonal in shape upon closer inspection made of deep royal blue crystalline metal the size of a small egg with the symbol the Constellar in bright goldenrod. With him putting the amulet on and feeling it become equipped to him by the sapphire-colored light that briefly pulsed through him, once that was settled he soon returned home in contentment with his recent gains of the dungeon.
(The next night later, Hiroshima, Japan, 9:45 Pm, July 14th, 2016)
It was the next night later as our Pyromancer was sitting on a park bench, having decided to check over what he would've gained for having reached 32 of his Pyromancer class among a few other things before he'd go off to do more monster slaying.
'Alright let's see what new stuff I've got.' Adrian thought to himself as he looked to see what new spells he'd gain
Fireball

You deal 560+ INT*3 Fire damage to your enemies blinding them for 10 seconds. They must also make a Constitution saving throw against your INT or be stunned for 30 seconds as they choke on superheated ash.
"Looks like Flamethrower will replace Burning Hands, Cinder Blast is gonna come in real handy for making a quick getaway if I get stuck at close range. Lastly I can't fucking wait to abuse the shit out of Fireball and finally a heal spell." Adrian said to himself in being quite happy with the spells he had at his disposal
So feeling great about the newly gained spells he ventured forth to find more monsters to be the targets of his new spells, with it being a while before he found a new target in the form of a Hill Giant that resided in a junkyard of all things having captured some humans that it was munching on like chicken nuggets. With Adrian taking aim and had cast Fireball with him gathering in his hands a baseball-sized orb of emerald flame that had sapphire radiance surrounding it like the rings of Saturn before he fired it off at the cannibalistic Giant.
The result was an explosion of pure scorching flame with bursts of radiance accompanying it that flash-fried the humans that were about to be devoured and the one it was eating, that combined with its upper to mid-back, shoulder and its neck sustaining notable burns it's pain soon turned to anger. With it looking down to see who dared to ruin his meal only for it to soon get hit with a Flamethrower spell, as a stream of lime green fire came hurtling towards it causing it to roar in pain as Adrian scorched its flesh.
Once he'd done sufficient damage to it he quickly rushed off elsewhere to make his escape and regroup to set up a trap for the Hill Giant who after recovering from having its flesh burned by the Pyromancer, lumbered after in search of him. The end result was Adrian awaiting the Hill Giant to come after him after casting the Explosive Trap spell 8 times before waiting for it to fall into his trap, he soon heard its thunderous footsteps approach him.
"Com' out, Com out where ever ya iz?" The Hill Giant spoke its voice a grating bass that irritated the pyromancer all the more by its broken English
"I'm over here jackass, come and get me!" Adrian called out as he watched it lumber its way into his trap he set up
The moment its right foot hit the ground the ring of Explosive Traps glowed brightly before exploding causing the Hill Giant to bellow in pain as chunks of its foot been blown off from the explosion, leaving cauterized chunks of flesh missing while it stumbled backward from the pain. With Adrian then raising both hands to cast a Fireball from each hand with both orbs of flame streaking across the night before exploding against the Hill Giant's stomach, sending it reaching as skin and muscle were scorched away to reveal blackened and burnt flesh.
Soon enough Adrian was forced to dive out of the way as the enraged Hill Giant had smashed one of its fists into the ground where the pyromancer once was, leaving a large indent in its wake as he soon went to stomp on him with its uninjured foot. Lucky enough Adrian had managed to dash out of the way in time and cast Melf's Minute Meteors and soon enough sent half of them flying out at the Hill Giant in quick succession, taking dark joy in seeing bellow out in pain as he went to gain further distance from it.
Unfortunately, this was prevented as the burned Hill Giant soon grabbed Adrian and clasped both its hands around his torso and began to squeeze down on him, with him gritting his teeth in struggling not to yell out in pain from his ribs being crushed. With his health dropping at a steady rate of 350 every moment he was being crushed he decided to cast Burnout to heal himself in a corona of bright green flame that seared the hands of the Hill Giant and caused him to drop the pyromancer who felt his ribs mend themselves after having a bit over half his health drop.
With the moment he coughed out blood from the sustained injuries being enough to induce his anger that this idiotic thing before him drew his own blood, so with that, he retaliated by sending the remaining meteors barreling into its right eye. The result of that was its eye exploding into boiling mush made of gore and ocular fluid that had it roar in pain further before its end was met by Adrian raising both hands to cast Scorching Ray twice with each hand, the rays of scorching fire soon killing the giant as they each pierced and burnt its flesh.
'Just to make sure you can't get back up and try anything.' Adrian thought as he cast Fireball twice over on the heavily burnt carcass sending chunks of burnt flesh flying throughout the air
"Minus my ribs nearly getting crushed tonight went off without a hitch. Now, time to rest up for a bit and then because of that gigantic fuck..everything until..2 in the morning fucking dies." Adrian resolved to himself with his rage demanding to be quelled via the sight of monsters being consumed in flame and fire
With Adrian continuing to further grow in strength and his defeat of a mini-boss within the Celestial Dungeon, his plans to survive Yokai seem more and more like a reality. So will he gain enough strength to contend with even S-Class monsters? Well, wait and see in the new chapters of A Gamer among Monsters.
With that being said, let's get to the reviews from the last chapter
FlameofDecay21: Happy to see you got the reference
jenes-db: Well, I hope you'll enjoy the story for all its worth. With Necromancer I'm discontinuing it as I've just really lost all traces of creative interest to continue writing it. As for Red Dragon Revenant that story isn't dead, but moreso in remission as I will be writing more chapters for it soon enough.
Kourtney Uzu Yato: Oh trust me Adrian is very much ruthless as this is just some of what he's capable of. As just wait until he gets to Yokai and you'll start seeing why you both don't get in his way or piss him off in any real capacity. Well, with Mizore I think that's gonna be a lot of fun to mess around with considering that she's one of my favorite characters next to Kurumu. Also, its be quite a bit of fun to do the relationships between him and both Moka's when I start getting into Yokai Academy.
True Sage of 6 Paths: I'm really happy you like the story so far.
Piddle: Yeah, I'm not gonna do that. Because if I did so it would fuck with all of Adrian's stats considerably and get into a whole hot mess of him being a fusion between himself and Lancer of Black. That's why even when I do summon Vlad them fusing together will be a definite no-go.
NobodyOwens5: Yeah the reason for why that happened was the website acting all screwy. But glad to see you've noticed some of my writing skills improving.
Silber D. Wolf: Happy you like the story so far.
deoxeyses: Well, I've got a whole lot more of them to come in the story.
SuperMewtwo012: Not really, granted I don't really care for the class as it never really interested me. Also, I understand where your coming from with Aizen and Neo from RWBY. However, Illusions still don't interest me so sorry to tell you.
God doesn't love you: I will not be abandoning the story since I'm having a lot more fun writing Adrian than I did with the other one.
Bittersteel626: Happy you like stories and hope you'll continue to enjoy them.
WakeWalker: Thank you for the compliment.
Stratos263: Oh trust me I'm just getting started.
marvelfin: Thanks and I hope you'll stick around for more of what's to come.
Sortofsane: Huh, I never actually thought of that until you just brought it up. So in all fairness they would consider him a warlock most likely.
10: Well, I hope you'll enjoy this story and all of my other ones that I'll be getting around too soon enough.
bobyvokcs: Well, I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
TheOnlyKing: Trust me this is just a small bit of what Adrian is like as the moment he gets to Yokai, we're gonna be seeing more and more of what he like as the one about him is that when he truly gets angry or when something gets in his way. Then no one is safe whatsoever. With Tsukune's family being a great example of such. Also, he'll mainly be sticking to Dungeons considering that he really needs to build up his firepower for Yokai Academy.
TheDarkWolfShiro: Happy you're enjoying things so far. Also I fixed what you mentioned in this chapter so it'll hopefully read a bit more smoothly
That's a wrap with this chapter and I hope you enjoyed it and everything that's gone on with it. But without further delay let's get down to it now shall we.
First up we've got Adrian's traversing into his 1st dungeon which I hoped y'all liked in seeing him cut a swath of destruction through it.
After that, we've got him further being an ambush predator and testing out some more of his pyromancy spells against a minotaur.
Following that up we've got Adrian fighting one of the mini-bosses of the Celestial Dungeon in the form of Constellar Pleiades, which I hoped y'all liked in seeing him handle himself against someone such as that.
Lastly, we've got Adrian fighting against a Hill Giant which I wanted to do to show that for all of Adrian's prowess with pyromancy that he can still get in trouble with a mage's inherent weakness. That being if a physically superior enemy can get their hands on you, then you can get into trouble pretty quick even if it was for a brief moment.
All that being said please favorite, follow, review, and share this story out as much as possible. And flames, for the most part, will be ignored because at the point you're mainly wasting mine and everyone's time.
That being said this is Pravus666 signing off until next time. With the next chapter being Adrian making further gains in his Pyromancy class and his catching the attention of Mikogami, so stay tuned for that.
