(Chapter 4: Going to School)
It was coming up on the end of August as Adrian was in good spirits considering that he made it to 2 more levels of Pyromancer allowing him a small boost in power, and besides that had made considerable strides in his Artist profession during the time period leading up to Yokai. With him having been diligent in grinding it to level 27 in spending a number of nights and countless hours practicing, the reason for it is that not only would it allow him to better make detailed blueprints and schematics, it would also help for when he wanted to make a list of targets to go after in the future.
So for now he was merely enjoying his free time until it came for him to go to Yokai Academy and fully start canon and get wrapped up in all the shenanigans that the strange place that was his starting world.
(August 25th, 2016, Adrian's House, 2:10 Pm)
It was the day before he'd head out to Yokai Academy as he was enjoying the nice day out in his backyard...albeit it being scorched from Adrian practicing his pyromancy.
'Well, tomorrow things pop off for real.' Adrian thought to himself as he sat outside on his rocking chair to enjoy the sunny afternoon
Indeed, which reminds me. Since you've managed to get yourself to a pretty good level of power. That this is happening so have fun with that.
Hidden Quest Completed: Don't die like a bitch
Congratulations you've grown strong enough that now you won't completely die like a punk when canon starts.
Objective 1: Get to level 50 before canon starts (Completed)
Objective 2: Make it to canon without sustaining crippling injuries. (Completed)

"Well since I got some points to spend. I might as well put them to good use and see what I got from some of these skill scrolls." Adrian said to himself as he started allocating stat points
He split the stat points into bumping up his Wisdom to 370, his Intelligence to 340, his Constitution to 80, his Charisma to 70, his Luck to 50, his Strength to 60 and his only uneven stat to be Dex which sat at the lowest in being a 47. With the Pyromancer feeling good about how everything stacked up as now his health was enough to allow him to take hits better should he ever get into trouble, not to mention he put more focus into Wisdom, Charisma and Strength than his other stats.
The reason being that he wanted to be able to better regenerate his mana faster so Wisdom made the most sense, Strength so that in case he ever found himself up close he'd be able to escape a grapple and Charisma so that he'd succeed far more effectively in social situations.
"Now that that's settled, time to see what I've got from one of these scrolls. I just hope its something good" Adrian said to himself as he decided to see what he'd gain from it
Misty Step

You are able to teleport yourself to anywhere within a 30-foot range and reappear within an area of said 30-foot radius that you can see.
'Well I guess I'm sitting pretty so far.' Adrian thought in being pretty happy with how he was stacked up with his stats
There's nothing pretty about you.
"Oh look, someone here has a sense of humor." Adrian said rolling his eyes at the game's snarkiness
Someone has to have one between the two of us.
"Hey I'm funny." Adrian responded as he could almost feel the snideness in the way the game responded
The only thing that's funny about you is the fact that you can still get your shit kicked in from someone that knows how to throw a solid punch.
"I can handle my own just fine. I may be a glass cannon, but I'm damn powerful one at that. So don't you forget it!" Adrian retorted in knowing that he might be a glass cannon, but he was still a very powerful one at that
Relax already, I'm just givin' you shit all. Besides, its a no brainer that your plenty powerful. In fact I'm pretty sure that nothing short of an S-Class monster can kill you if you keep playing your cards right.
"Soon enough I'll be able to kill even monsters and shit of that level. Since stuff like that is just the beginning, as I've got my sights set on bigger fish in the multiverse." Adrian responded as he was merely here to get himself amped enough to contend with higher-level stuff like Bleach and Naruto as examples

"Thanks. But until then and I finish up with things here, then I'm just gonna enjoy this nice day." Adrian said as he proceeded to enjoy the rest of the nice day out until he had to head out for tomorrow
(The next day later, 9:36 Am, Yokai Academy, August 26th, 2016)
It was the morning later with Adrian as the bus had soon stopped itself at the entrance to Yokai Academy where the Pyromancer soon got off.
'Yup definitely doesn't look like a fucking horror movie.' Adrian thought to himself as he took in the surroundings of the area
"I know this place is a school for monsters, but would it kill them to not make the place scream 'you've walked into a horror movie'. Seriously, it's like it'll kill them to have it not look like Halloween 24/7." Adrian said under his breath before soon hearing a runaway bicycle coming his way
With him quickly using Misty Step to evade the bicycle coming towards him in a burst of shamrock green and onyx smoke before reappearing a few feet away, he looked to see a young woman having face-planted in the dirt with her bicycle across the ground. So with nothing else to do he went over to help her up and saw that she had large bright green eyes, bubblegum pink hair and a slender yet still curvaceous figure that had him recognize her as Moka Akashiya
"You ok, you look like you scuffed yourself up a bit." Adrian spoke as he helped the vampire up to her feet
"I'm fine thank you." Moka said while dusting herself off
"So..are you going here too?" Moka asked the pyromancer
"Oh yeah I'm a first-year here, by the way my name is Adrian. Pleasure to meet ya." Adrian answered back while introducing himself
"Nice to meet you Adrian, my name is Moka." Moka responded
"Well, since your bike is probably all busted up. You wanna walk with me?" Adrian asked the pinkette considering that it would make things go a lot faster
"Sure..but I want to ask you something? What do you think about vampires?" Moka asked nervously as she walked alongside the pyromancer
"I don't really feel strongly about them either way. So long as they don't try to hurt me, then I'm fine with them." Adrian answered nonchalantly in not really caring about vampires in any real capacity
"That's great because I am one! I just got nervous for a bit since I don't have any friends yet and I thought you wouldn't like me if I told you I was one." Moka said elated to hear he didn't hate vampires
"Well, mazel tov to you then. But I couldn't really care what you are, just don't be a jerk and we'll be fine." Adrian spoke as he didn't care that Moka was a vampire just so long as she didn't fuck with him then they'd be all good
"Great! So do you want to be friends with me?" Moka asked as he merely shrugged as they walked towards Yokai
"Sure why not." Adrian replied and was rewarded with a tight hug from her

'Huh, neat.' Adrian thought at the high boost of Affection from Moka
With that the two walked together towards Yokai Academy which from the Pyromancer's perspective looked a lot larger than what he thought it would and made him feel a lot less like he was in a Halloween movie. From there things proceeded with Moka and the pyromancer having gone to some of their classes and done orientation where they'd done a rundown of the rules of the academy like what had gone on in canon and then some.
The rest of the day proceeded fairly well with the day ending fairly well once they'd gone to all their classes and had the orientations for all of them, they mainly spent the rest of the time getting themselves drinks and getting to know each other, with Adrian getting himself a bottle of lemonade and Moka some tomato juice. With their good time continuing until Adrian's thermal vision picked up a heat signature close to them that soon revealed itself to be Saizo Komiya who looked at the Gamer as though he were nothing more than a pest and Moka like she was a fresh piece of meat.
"So your Moka Akashiya, huh. I gotta say you look even better up close." Saizo spoke as he strode over and slammed Adrian against one of the stone pillars who grinded his teeth more out of anger than pain
"I mean really why are you hangin' around a scrawny little bastard like him. When you could be with me. Especially when I could make you have a real good time with yours truly." Saizo added before throwing Adrian like a sack of potatoes where he skidded across the ground for a bit before using Misty Step
"Adrian!" Moka cried out but was grabbed by Saizo who had a lustful grin on his face
"Hey what's the rush, you should be spending time with me. Instead of that punk-ass bastard." Saizo spoke before Adrian leveled a glare at him as his eyes glowed a bright emerald
"Saizo wasn't isn't it?" Adrian questioned as he dusted himself off
"Yeah what of it?" Saizo spoke
"You've got the next 10 seconds to piss off or I turn you into a pile of ash." Adrian threatened while his hands smoked and crackled with sparks of arcane flame
"That's rich, you really think you can beat me up! Give it a rest I could snap you in half with one arm tied behind my back." Saizo laughed at the fact that Adrian thought he could take him on
"I don't even think I'd need my monster form to beat you." Saizo added as he'd strode over towards Adrian towering over him
"This is the only time I'm gonna tell you. Piss off and never come within shitting distance of Moka and I ever again. Or I'll let you have it." Adrian spoke which earned him a backhand from Saizo
"The only thing that's strong about you is your sense of humor." Saizo spoke as Adrian spat out a tooth
'Did..did he just he bitch slap me..that tears it he's so getting fucking fireball.' Adrian thought to himself as he felt a blazing inferno of rage burst forth
"What's the matter, don't have any…." Saizo tried to say but was sent flying 10 feet away from Adrian via a Thunderwave
"Moka, could you watch my bag for a few minutes. This won't take long." Adrian requested as he nodded before taking his backpack
That in mind Adrian walked over to where Saizo was and launched two more Thunderwaves which sent him spiraling through the air as he was sent 20 feet away from him, the ogre rose to his feet wondering what the hell just hit him. With his train of thought ending the moment Adrian hurled a baseball-sized orb of emerald flame at him that collided with and exploded into flames, the orc staggering to his feet and trying to put himself out while wondering what the hell just happened.
However, he didn't get so much as 5 seconds to think before a fiery boulder the size of a grown man's torso rocketed towards him and exploded into flaming rubble that knocked him flat on his ass as Adrian cast Pyroblast thrice more. With Saizo jumping out of the way from the first one, yet the next two crashed into his stomach and knocked him back down to earth where he landed with an audible thud as Adrian just glared daggers at him with his eye glowing a hateful emerald green.
The moment Saizo got up to rise and try to charge at Adrian, the pyromancer lobbed another fireball at the orc who was unable to escape it and soon found himself caught in another explosion of emerald flame and once he got up again had another one and another dropped on him. With Adrian then casting Misty Step to get within 10 feet of him before proceeding to burn Saizo via his Flamethrower spell in watching the torrent of scorching flame burn away at his uniform and flesh until he was a barely twitching mess of a man.
"The next time you want to start shit, then do it off square grounds. That way if you wanna come for me again then I'll really make sure you get turned into an ash pile." Adrian whispered down to his ear as all of Saizo's world was filled with nothing more than pain as the pyromancer walked back towards Moka
"Sorry that we had our time together, interrupted. Adrian spoke as he took a moment to calm down
"You're fine, are you ok?" Moka asked
"Oh yeah I'm perfect. Sometimes my temper just gets away from me." Adrian answered in knowing that his wrath while having served him well also happened to often go off like a hair-trigger
"Anyways, why don't we take this somewhere else." Adrian suggested in seeing people having gathered from the pyromancer having quickly decimated Saizo
"That would be nice." Moka replied in wanting to get away from the now semi-ruined part of their afternoon
So with not a second more of hesitation the two made their way away from the scene of the broken and burnt form of Saizo and onto one of the rooftops of Yokai Academy to get away from the slowly growing mob of students.
"How did you get so strong Adrian, I've never seen anyone do things like that?" Moka questioned as to how Adrian was that powerful
"Simple. One day my powers just came up and popped up. From there I just started practicing with them and getting good with it." Adrian answered in giving her a more abridged version of things
"You must really be a strong monster, what kind are you?" Moka blurted out in being interested in what kind of monster he was
"..Sorry if I'm prying, I know its against school rules to ask, but I just wanted to know since you seemed super strong." Moka said near flustered in having done a brain fart in momentarily forgetting one of the major school rules
"You're completely fine. For what monster I am...I don't really know what I even am, to be completely honest. I mean I was raised by humans for my entire life, so I have no idea what I even am." Adrian responded in making up a convenient lie to explain his situation which he felt would be far better to do than say he was human
"Really? You were raised by humans?" Moka questioned the pyromaniac
"Yep. It wasn't all that bad, moved around a lot, and nothing much really happened for the majority of it. Eventually my parents decided that since I wanted my own living space that they'd set me up with a place in Hiroshima. They give me the money I need to live and sustain myself and do what I want so long as I don't make a scene." Adrian responded in a condensed version of the cover story the Game created for him
"So really, my life is really not all that bad." Adrian added in knowing he could've got it far worse
"But enough about me. Tell me some stuff about yourself, Moka, as what are some of the things that you like. What is it that once your out and about in the world that you want to do?" Adrian questioned in shifting things over to Moka's side of things
"Well, besides being a vampire. I've always wanted to be a doctor." Moka answered catching the pyromancer completely by surprise
"You wanna be a doctor..huh never would've seen that coming. No offense to you or anything." Adrian said in being thrown off by the answer
"Oh you're fine. I've always wanted to study how to be one and work towards making people better instead of doing the work my family does." Moka replied in having wanted to be a doctor because she didn't want to really hurt people so much as she wanted to work towards healing them
"I say good on you for wanting to be a doctor of any sort. Because not many people appreciate the value of a medic. So whatever type of doctor you wanna be then I say fucking go for it. Heck if you want I can get ya some books on what you wanna study." Adrian offered considering that if Moka wanted to be a medic/doctor then he was all for it
"Do you mean that?" Moka questioned her large lime green eyes beaming up at him
"Of course. If your really passionate about wanting to learn about medicine and how to heal, then I'll be more than happy to support your passion." Adrian answered back in being more than happy with supporting Moka if she was serious about this then he'd be all about supporting it
"Oh thank you Adrian!" Moka exclaimed in joy that her new friend would be so willing to support her dream that she gave him a very tight hug

"No problem...although my ribs would appreciate it if you'd stop crushing them." Adrian requested in feeling his ribs being squeezed like they were in a pneumatic press
"Sorry..sometimes I forget my own strength." Moka apologized in sometime forgetting her own strength
"Your alright, just try to be conscious of it." Adrian replied in laughing off his sore ribs
"Anyways, let's just enjoy the rest of our 1st day." Adrian added as Moka nodded as the two pretty much spent the rest of the day just getting to know each other
(5 days later, August 31st, 2016, Yokai Academy, 4:48 Pm)
It was soon a Wednesday evening as Adrian was off of school grounds were a healed Saizo was there with a smug grin on his face in deciding to challenge the pyromancer in a fight, in thinking that he only got lucky because he wasn't using his monster form.
"I'm only gonna tell ya this once and once only. If you fight me, you will fucking die." Adrian told the orc at the simplistic fact that if he chose to fight Adrian then he would definitely die
"You only got those attacks in because you were both lucky and I wasn't using my monster form. But now your gonna be a goner and Moka's tight ass will be mine." Saizo said as his long tongue whipped about in a lewd manner concerning Moka
"If you don't put that tongue away, I swear to god I'm incinerating it." Adrian spoke in finding the manner of Saizo doing that to be disgusting
"You ain't gonna do shit but die and watch me pound her into next week." Saizo boasted before getting a Psybeam straight to the face
"Shut your damn mouth and get to it already." Adrian responded in getting tired of the orc's mouth
That in mind Saizo quickly transformed into his monster form which Adrian would give one thing to the orc...that being he was uglier in real life than he was in canon as the brute charged after him intent on taking his head off. Only for him too soon find his body covered in fire and his flesh burning thanks to Adrian casting Overheat on him that was soundly followed up by him casting Cinder Blast, with Saizo finding himself coughing and sputtering from the superheated ashes that clouded his vision and seared at his throat.
This was followed up by him casting Scorching Ray at Saizo who found himself getting hit by a veritable bombardment of rays made of blazing flame that hit him like machine-gun fire, leaving multiple burns that pierced into his hardened flesh. Yet he didn't let up as he cast Fireball twice over causing a small explosion to burst into life in a flash of bright green that was near blinding with it clearing to reveal a substantially burnt Saizo who despite the wounds sustained just glared bloody murder as he charged at the Gamer once more.
The moment he attempted to get close Adrian merely casted Thunderwave and knocked him back on his ass and 10 feet away, with him having gotten back up and tried to rush him again only for another Thunderwave to be cast and send him sprawling. With him rising back up and being hit by another Cinder Blast as the pyromancer then used Misty Step to take cover behind one of the gravestones and cast 8 Explosive Traps in a ring-like formation around Saizo before using this chance to regenerate his mana.
"You can't fuckin' hide forever Taylor! When I find your sorry ass I'm gonna tear your damn arms off!" Saizo bellowed after the Cinder Blast wore off and in his slightly blurred vision began searching for the pyromancer
"Then what are you waiting for?! Come and get me you big ugly bastard." Adrian called out to the orc who went to charge after him only for the ground around him to flash bright green
"Took it hook, line and sinker." Adrian said to himself with a smug grin as the spells went off
The result was a small explosion of a fire that lit up the area as Saizo came out of more enraged than anything as he surveyed the area as the autumn air stung at his burnt flesh, with Adrian soon using Misty Step behind him and casting 4 Fireballs out at him in quick succession. The result was multiple explosions going off at once as Saizo felt his skin and flesh melt away to reveal charred muscle underneath as he could only glare bloody murder at the Pyromancer who held a malicious grin on his face.
With him unleashing two Psybeams that raced towards him and struck him in the face, the combined force of the psionic attacks was enough to burst the blood vessels in his eyes and ears, evident by the trails of blood that soon leaked down his face. The orc soon leapt into the air in an attempt to body-slam the Gamer who merely countered with a Thunderwave that blasted him back away, but not before a follow up casting of Scorching Ray bombarded him in a series of beams made of arcane fire that slammed into him.
Saizo landed with a thud as the moment he opened his eyes he was subject to another Cinder Blast that had him momentarily blinded and coughing as the superheated ash invaded his throat once again, the orc furious at the fact that he was being so quickly overwhelmed by Adrian. The Orc trying to find where Adrian was but 4 consecutive Psybeams to the back of the head later ruined that for him, as he felt himself stumbling and staggering from the assault that had him tripping over in a confused and burnt mess.
"I swear he's making this too easy for me." Adrian thought with a vicious grin on seeing the confused Orc stumble about trying to find him
That in mind he set up a baker's dozen of Explosive Traps' around Saizo's confused and choking form and watched with dark amusement as he soon stepped onto one of the runes, making himself subject to another series of small explosions that echoed through the evening. Saizo found himself struggling to stay standing and yet it wasn't long before Adrian fired out a Pyroblast into his left thigh, taking out a chunk of it in the process.
Yet it was in this moment where he sent his tongue out at Adrian and used it like a whip to smack him across the face before sending it to wrap around his right arm to constrict and crush it, which made Adrian further angered that he put his disgusting tongue on him. For that Adrian decided to punish him by gripping it with his free hand and his bound and casting Flamethrower onto it, with arcane flames rapidly racing up the appendage that Saizo had tried to yank away and uncoil from him but was too late.
The heavily burnt form of Saizo was soon screaming in agonizing pain as his tongue was soon burning as the flames proceeded to travel down to scorch his throat and spread across his face in an all-consuming blaze of emerald fire. With Adrian holding onto the tongue for dear life as he continued to watch as Saizo scream in agonizing pain as his throat was being scorched and the flesh on his face was melting and burning into nothingness, the sight of which brought a large malevolent grin as he watched Saizo claw at his face.
With it being moments later before Saizo's tongue was reduced to a charred mess of bubbling flesh that freed his arm as he continued scorching away at Saizo's face, getting himself up closer so he could watch the horrified look on Saizo as his flesh melted away. Soon enough Adrian was forced to end his spell as slumped over on the ground was the heavily scorched corpse of the orc, his eyes had melted from their sockets, his face reduced to a heavily charred skull and his throat all other blood vessels had been cooked to the point where they were nothing more than a boiling and burnt mess of flesh and blood.
"I told him he'd die today. He just had to try and go against the person who can literally burn the flesh off your bones in moments...what a fuckin' idiot." Adrian said to himself before he soon saw a pop-up appear
Hidden Quest Completed: Torch the Orc
You've gotten rid of that rapacious dickhead ahead of schedule. So thanks to you a lot of girls and mainly Moka won't have to worry about his shenanigans ever again.

"I guess the only thing left to do is just go back and enjoy my happy ass, a Hershey Bar as a reward." Adrian said to himself in feeling pretty good about how the events of things turned out
(Adrian's Dormroom, 5 hours later, 10:26 Pm)
It was hours later as Adrian was in his room brushing up on his Artist skills with the time here having allowed him to get to Level 29 of his Artist class as he spent his time mainly sketching blueprints and portraits of his eventual targets.
"Well that takes care of the last one for now,which means I've got a whole lot to do between Ginei and Kuyo. Not to mention taking care of AntiThesis before they get out of hand." Adrian spoke to himself in having made decent looking portraits of Gin, Kuyo, some of the Security Committee and those of AntiThesis
At the rate your going you shouldn't have any problems from those from AntiThesis. Although I would get rid of Kaneshiro before he can cause any problems for you in the future.
"Wait a minute that schmuck is here?" Adrian questioned
Ding, Ding, Ding. We have a winner! Hokuto Kaneshiro is at Yokai Academy as a 2nd year student. However, I'd still be careful as he's still a Monstrel and a powerful one at that. Which is why I'd spend some time leveling yourself up big-time before taking him on.
"Believe me the first chance I get, everyone and everything concerning them dies. Unlike Aono, I'm not so nice." Adrian said as unlike Aono who currently lie in some junkyard rotting, he wasn't so merciful
Good. Because it would be a real shame if my entertainment ended because you've gone soft.
"..You've seen how I've been the whole summer. So you should know that my being soft in any capacity, can't and probably won't really ever happen." Adrian replied in knowing that him going soft wasn't gonna ever truly happen
I've seen more than enough to know that your a complete psychopathic arsonist.
"Hey my life is literally a video game. It wouldn't be fun if I didn't indulge and revel in causing complete destruction. That's half of the fun of video games." Adrian said in having loved playing video games for the fact that he got to cause wanton amounts of destruction and violence
"I mean why would I wanna waste my time playing the hero, when I can just be force of pure destruction to fuck shit up. Because I plan on making this place my playground to fuck up anyone who gets in my way." Adrian added as he didn't really care for heroics when he could use that time getting so strong that he could scorch the world around him should anyone get in his way
At least your not one of the Gamers who decided to play goodie two-shoes..ugghh they were nauseating. I swear their attempts of being the good guy and trying to be the hero sickened me. Which was why I was all too happy to see most of them die.
"That's what they get for trying to be good. People who try to be a hero and try to be the good guy get what they deserve. Meanwhile people like me get to stand at the top." Adrian spoke as he honestly couldn't stand heroes and people who wanted to be the good guy
In any case I'll leave you to your devices. Seeing that you still have a ways to go.
"Alright, later then." Adrian said
'Now then let's see what I got for hitting Level 61.' Adrian thought as he pulled up the list of techniques he had at his disposal

"It may not be much, but that Sunburst looks like it'll be a new heavy hitter." Adrian thought to himself excited that he had a new heavy-hitting spell in his arsenal
"Now then time to upgrade some of my spells." Adrian said to himself as he went to upgrade his spells

Congratulations you can now cast the staple of all wizard spells known as the fireball. With this, your enemies will be scorched as you send a powerful fireball towards them. This attack deals 2,250 +(INT * 8) Fire damage to all targets in a 20-foot sphere.

Description: You point to an area that isn't currently occupied by a creature and a 10-foot radius explosive rune appears. It briefly glows brightly before turning near invisible. Creatures can make an INT check contest by your INT to try and find it. Any creature that stands on or activates it in anyway will trigger the rune causing it to explode. All creatures in a 20-foot radius must make a DEX saving throw against your INT or take 1,080+ (INT *7.5) Fire Damage. Will take half damage on a successful save.

Type: Cone
You summon forth burning hot ash and cinder and fire them out like a shotgun blast to stagger your enemies. You deal 1,680+ INT*6 Fire damage to your enemies blinding them for 10 seconds. They must also make a Constitution saving throw against your INT or be stunned for 30 seconds as they choke on superheated ash.
"That may have cost me a butt-ton of a mana to upgrade. But, now I'm definitely packin' heat with these at my disposal." Adrian said in having felt a drain on his mana equal to double the MP of what his newly upgraded spells cost, but was more than satisfied with their upgraded damage potential
With Adrian having successfully made it through his 1st day at Yokai and gotten rid of Saizo from being a thorn in his side, things seem to look pretty good for him as canon officially pops off. So how will things go for our resident pyromancer now that he's in Yokai Academy? Well stay tuned for more chapters of A Gamer among Monsters.
Now then onto some of the reviews from the last chapter.
Kahizzie: Yeah I can do that no problem. It'll just take some time for me to calculate everything together and fit it in without bogging the story down.
Remzal Von Enili: Not really, as all he has to do is not be a giant dick to her and he should be good.
Lq840i: I figured that him doing so with his Searing Blood passive ability would eliminate him doing so by giving her his blood. Which is why I figured why not do something to substitute it and give her more depth to her character by having her want to learn about medicine and become a doctor/medic. I will admit that its gonna be some slight discomfort for them due to them being opposing elements. But I still think that it would work as he's not constantly bursting into flames or what have you. Also, it'll be a maybe on Ruby being in the harem. As for Kurumu I do plan on her being the main girl of the Rosario Vampire harem. When he eventually gets to using weapons in tandem with his martial arts I think I'll probably do something like a battleaxe or glaive to mix it up from it being the standard of a sword.
Treksh: Yeah I re-read it and went back and fixed his deal with the Game so it didn't seem so weird.
joepaul6: Well, the thing is that while he'll eventually get with Inner Moka which is gonna be interesting in and of itself. Inner Moka won't really make a physical presence in the story until a good number of chapters from now around like 10+ if I had to make a guess. Also, glad you like Adrian's character since I'm pretty sure a good number of people wouldn't go out of their way to be morally good paragons like most Gamer stories present.
TheOnlyKing: Well, here we are at Yokai Academy now. So there's that. Also Adrian will be leveling up his classes while he's in Yokai, with the main focus being Pyromancer with all of the destructive capabilities it affords him.
McKenray: Oh no Yukari's gonna fucking die. Considering that her antics plus Adrian's Sin of Wrath flaw are gonna equal out to her being blown to bits more than anything.
Thel310: I'll get to having Yhrom being a possible summon as I've checked him out and he seems like he'd be a pretty dope Dark Souls summon. Right up there with my boy Artorius.
CuriousGuest: Oh trust me there's gonna be some consequences to his having killed those monsters during his summertime of slaughter. Especially considering that the spider woman he killed off has a daughter that goes to Yokai Academy, and I'm excited to write out how that'll go down. For the most part Adrian won't really take too much damage as he knows full well that compared to everyone else he's still a squishy human. Hence why all of his methods revolve around hiding and fighting from a distance, as he knows full well that all it takes is a few solid hits and he's down for which is why he'll stick to hiding and doing ambushes and long-range assaults. He did choose Engineer considering that he will get blueprints and draw up his own thanks to the Artist class, as there's a butt-ton of useful machines he can craft himself given enough time.
Wittyartificer: A maybe on Kendo as it doesn't really rank up there with my favorites. Speaking of I already have a racial class that he can gain as a Yokai form, it'll just take a while to get to.
Stratos263: He'll need it, but as long as he plays his cards right. Then he should be fine.
And cut as that wraps things up with this chapter. So I hope y'all enjoyed this chapter and all that went along with it, but without further ado let's get down to it.
First up we've got Adrian just enjoying the day before heading out to Yokai and talking with the Game which I hope you guys enjoyed.
Following that up we've got a more condensed version of the 1st episode and all that jazz that I hoped you guys liked with the bonuses of Adrian taking down Saizo and giving a boost to Moka's character as far as motivations go.
Next up is Adrian vs Saizo which I hoped you guys liked because I loved the idea of Adrian using his pyromancy to basically kick his shit in.
Lastly, we've got more of Adrian talking more with the Game since I really like building up the dynamic between the two of them and all of what goes along with it.
All that being said please favorite, follow, review and share this story out as much as possible. And flames, for the most part, will be ignored because at the point you're mainly wasting mine and everyone's time. Other than that constructive criticism and ideas on how to improve things are welcome.
