(Chapter 5: Building yourself up)
Days later would pass for Adrian as he proceeded to more or less settle into life at Yokai Academy which wasn't as bad as he thought it was gonna be, considering that with word spreading of how he rocked Saizo's shit and them later finding his corpse off school grounds. A healthy respect and budding fear of the pyromancer and his abilities, all of which had him riding in the clear and allowed him enough time to work on both his Artist class and get started on putting his Engineer class to good use.
(September 4th, 2016, Adrian's Dormroom, 9:42 Pm)
It was 18 minutes till 10 at night as Adrian sat in his dorm room in having gotten his Artist class to a high enough level at 32 that he felt he could finally start putting blueprints together for some of the machines he wanted to build.
"Alright, I finally got the blueprints for one of the machines that's gonna help me out. Let's just hope this turns out well." Adrian said to himself as the game lived up to their bargain and given him materials to work with
That in mind he got to work on building the machine and oddly enough it felt like an out of body experience where his hands moved of their own accord, weaving circuitry and metal together to form into the machine that took a little under 50 minutes to build. But once he was done he looked at the newly created machine that booted to life within mere moments and looked at his mechanized creation with a level of pride in himself.
The machine was spider-like in design nearly twice the size of a small notepad that was dark grey and black in colorations with 8 mechanized legs the size of pencils while its main body was a segmented mass of metal that pulsed with a dark green light underneath. Meanwhile, on its face were four diamond eyes that darted around the area to take in everything while its mandibles clicked together and briefly sparked with an electrical current.
Machine Created: Surveillance Drone
This arachnid shaped drone has been created to continuously survey the area and all that goes in it in a 600-foot radius. This drone can continuously store footage of events for 2 weeks straight. This drone has 2 security measures in the form of being able to shock enemies with an electrical current that deals 480 points of lightning damage. And self-destructing dealing 960+INT damage to all targets in a 5 foot radius.
"It may have taken me for fucking ever. But at least its worth it to keep my hands in everything. Now then, time to build more of these little fuckers." Adrian said to himself as he cracked his hands and went work on building more drones
That in mind he decided to put on some Lamb of God, Katatonia, Strapping Young Lad and Alice in Chains and for the next 6 and a half hours build Surveillance Drones which was quite relaxing in the opinion of the pyromancer. Even with the feeling of it being an out of body experience as his hands seemed to move of their own accord while building the drones, he still felt oddly relaxed as he didn't even realize it was 3 in the morning after he finished building the drones.
Once he finished he gave them the command to spread out to Yokai Academy which they did so as they skittered out of his window and soon enough went out across all of the academy to record and gather information.
"Well that's my time for the night, and holy shit its almost a quarter till 4 in the mornin'. Hmph...time well spent." Adrian spoke in feeling this was a good use of his time
Looks like someone's been productive.
"Oh yeah. Now that I've got this all set up, I should have no problem getting my hands into things. Then walking my happy ass over and torching it all to the ground." Adrian said with a broad grin that with his surveillance drones were out and an about that he'd have no problem keeping tabs on his enemies
Well, will you look at that. You can do more than just incinerate things like a trigger happy arsonist.
"Hey, its not my fault that torching stuff is so much fun. Well, that and drawing stuff for new machines I wanna build soon." Adrian responded as granted he'd grown to like drawing nearly as much as he liked
I'm pretty sure that you just like being a violent psycho in general. Its just you really enjoy being a fucking pyromaniac.
"Hey when turning people to burnt-up carcasses and ash piles is no longer fun. Then I'll stop torching shit. Until then I will scorch whatever the hell I want." Adrian spoke as he manipulated a small flame in the palm of his hand
"Unless they're Moka's inner self, Kuyo, or that pervert werewolf. Then I'm pretty much game to take out anyone here." Adrian added as unless they were an S-Class monster or a fucking dragon then he was in the clear to take them out
Granted your pretty strong. There's no doubt about that, but remember not to get in over your fucking head. Otherwise, all it will take is one clean hit to knock you flat on your ass, and then you're done for.
"I know that full well. But now that I can build myself machinery to help out around here. Then I should be able to keep myself more in the clear than I could before. All that I need to do for now is just decide what I'm gonna multiclass into for close-combat stuff, then I'm golden." Adrian replied in knowing that he was still a glass cannon but with his Engineer class he may have finally found a way to mitigate things
"In fact, if I can get my Engineer class high enough. Then I'll be able to put myself ahead of the curb and even stand maybe head to head with a vampire." Adrian added in hoping to get his Engineer class high enough that he could potentially stand head to head with S-class monsters like vampires
What the hell do you have planned to do that?
"I'll let you think about that later. But for now, I'm going to bed." Adrian replied with a yawn as he turned out the lights and went to sleep
(The next day, September 5th, 2016, Yokai Academy, 2:10 Pm)
It was soon a Saturday afternoon as Adrian had decided to spend some time hanging out with Moka and getting to know more about her.
"Thank you for getting me lunch Adrian." Moka thanked the pyromancer after they'd finished eating
"Its no problem at all. Since we're friends I don't mind doing it for you at all." Adrian said in not minding doing such things for her
"Although I do gotta ask you somethin'?" Adrian asked the pink-haired vampire
"What is it?" Moka responded
"Well, I know your a vampire and all. So how are you getting blood, I mean do you guys need that and all to function?" Adrian wondered as to how Moka was doing with the whole having to feed on blood
"Oh that?..I've been using blood bags I've packed. Although I was going to ask you something if its not too much trouble?" Moka asked in having wanted to ask this originally but with the incident of Saizo's death and her school
"What do you want?" Adrian asked
"I was wondering if...you'd let me suck your blood?" Moka requested as Adrian sighed at the request
"Yeah, I don't think that would be a good idea if I let you do that." Adrian told her in knowing that with some of his pyromancy abilities it would make the act of doing so a bad idea
"Why? Is it.." Moka said before Adrian cut her off
"Moka its nothing that you've done or because of what you are. More specifically its because of what I am. Because you sucking my blood would hurt you more than it helps." Adrian replied as he decided to make a demonstration
That in mind he bit the inside of his wrist hard enough for it to bleed and let the blood drop onto the glass he was drinking out of and the moment it hit, his Searing Blood ability activated causing his blood to burst into crimson fire. With Moka watching as the drops of crimson burned away at the glass until it was molten sludge as Adrian used his control over fire to cauterize the wound shut and also use it to have the flames snuff themselves out.
"Now you know why I don't want you sucking my blood. Because if you had tried to do so then you would've wound up with your throat getting scorched. Which is why I'm telling you this..please do not suck my blood." Adrian warned her considering that he'd rather not deal with Moka or her inner self coming to kick his ass because she thought that he was secretly out to get her
"I understand, thank you for the warning, Adrian." Moka said in being a bit down that she couldn't suck his blood but understood the clear dangers that would come with it
"Nice to see you understand it. Anyways, going away from that, tell me more about yourself?" Adrian questioned the vampire his large blue eyes seeming to almost pierce through her
"Oh, ok. Well, there is something else I never got the chance to tell you with everything that happened with Saizo." Moka said in having never gotten around to telling Adrian of her other self
"Honestly Moka, I'd already forgotten about him. But please continue with what you were gonna go on about." Adrian replied in having practically forgotten about the loathsome maggot
"Well, since I'm a vampire I've had to wear this rosary that keeps my true form, that's a terrifying vampire locked away." Moka informed him as she showed him her silver rosary which had the crimson jewel seem to almost stare at him like it was an eye
"Oh please, the other you can't be that scary. I mean look at ya, you're super nice. So unless she's sporting goat horns, bat wings and teeth that would make a great-white shark jealous. Then I think I won't be piss my pants scared of her anytime soon." Adrian spoke what with all he's fought he didn't think Moka's inner self was all that scary appearance-wise
"Thank you for the compliment. But my other side isn't as nice as I am. If she ever got loose once my rosary came off, I don't know what would happen." Moka responded in knowing that her inner self wasn't as kind or warm as she usually was
She knew full well that her inner self was more or less at heart a blood knight at heart, whereas she wanted to learn to heal and become a medic or doctor to help people, her inner self wanted to learn more about combat so that she could crush everyone beneath her like insects. Combining this with her being more heavily inclined to cruelty and her being ever at the ready to judiciously apply her vampiric strength as judge, jury and executioner; which was why she was more than reluctant to ever let her run loose in knowing she could go out of hand quite quickly.
"Then its a great thing you've got me around. Since I'm plenty powerful enough that you won't have to turn into your other side anytime soon." Adrian assured her in full confidence of his arcane might
"How can you be so sure Adrian? I..I know your strong and all, but you can't be that strong. Can you?" Moka responded with skepticism in her voice at Adrian's strength while his demeanor never wavered from his confident grin
"Moka what happened with Saizo was more or less just a warm-up compared to what I can really do. Because I haven't even begun to show what I can actually do in a fight. In fact, I've just been getting stronger. So trust me when I say that I'm more than capable of holding my own in a fight." Adrian spoke with the utmost confidence in himself and his capabilities
"Heck at the rate I'm going there won't be hardly anyone who can stand on my level. So you can rest assured that as long as I'm with ya, there won't be any need to take off that rosary." Adrian added in knowing that with the gains he was making that the need for Inner Moka to come out would be slim
"Thank you, Adrian, it means a lot that you'd protect me." Moka said flattered that he'd protect her
"Well of course I have too. Since I get to use this in my favor." Adrian thought to himself while still keeping his grin
With him seeing his protection of Moka as a further boost to his reputation and the respect he could gain from the students at Yokai, that if he were strong enough to defend and protect a vampire then it would make others think twice about fucking with him. On the other side to it, it would mean he would get stronger opponents to kill in order to make higher gains in his Pyromancer class, so either way this worked out for him on a two-fold level.
"No problem. Besides, what are friends for." Adrian told her
"Which reminds me you wanna go get ice cream?" Adrian asked Moka who had a smile cross her face
"Sure I'd love some!" Moka answered back as she went with him to go get some ice cream they were offering
(Adrian's Room, 6 hours later, 8:42 Pm)
It was hours later as Adrian was sitting in his room, having debated with himself on what to multiclass into so that he could give himself a leg up in the close combat department.
'Well, let's see heads for Warrior and Tails for Martial Artist.' Adrian thought to himself as he flipped a coin in the air before catching it and seeing it land on tails
"Alright then, tails it is." Adrian spoke as he soon selected Martial Artist for his new class

You've decided to take a path many wouldn't normally go for in favor or weaponry or armor. Instead, you decide to take a path of where your body becomes a weapon unto itself, a devastating one at that. With you undertaking the path of the Martial Artist every part of you will become a force to be reckoned within the realm of unarmed and close-quarters combat. With it being at the end of this that you may release a new energy to wield as your path comes to ahead and you become an unstoppable force in hand to hand combat.
(While this class does not give weapon or armor proficiencies, but instead gives you better stat gains per level in exchange. In addition, some skills are more powerful than that of other classes.)
Boxing Proficiency (Novice) (Passive)
The Sweet Science, Footwork, Fighting IQ, head movements, combinations. You've definitely got the fundamentals down, but don't get too cocky as the pros can still knock you flat on your ass with a solid uppercut. +10% hand to hand (striking) damage
Muay Thai Proficiency (Novice) (Passive)
You know enough to protect yourself in a scrape...but that's about it. If someone physically or technically superior comes along, then you fucked worse than a white girl at a mandingo party. Kicks, Punches, knee strikes, it ain't the art of 8 limbs for nothin' hell throw a clinch in for good measure while your at it. While its the most versatile and practical of the martial arts, your still pretty basic at it. +10% to hand to hand (striking) damage.
Judo Proficiency (Novice) (Passive)
The Gentle Way is misleading concerning this martial art. You know judo's basics from chokes, joint locks, holds, throws and takedowns. If you can get lucky enough (which won't be often) you may be able to use some of them in combination with another. +10% to Strength and Dexterity when grappling.
Wrestling Proficiency (Submission and Greco-Roman) (Novice) (Passive)
Maybe the most dominant martial art to exist, yet wielded by a poor beginner like yourself. Nonetheless, you know the basics of these two forms of wrestling. Battling for takedowns, upper body throws, leg hooks, submission holds. You do know them, but maybe you should stick to the striking for now, champ. +10% Constitution and Strength when grappling.
Clothing Proficiency (Martial Artist) (Apprentice) (Passive)
Clothes, robes, tops, pants, gis, and other basic articles. While they may not offer protection, as a magical martial artist they offer you other benefits. +25% Dexterity, +10% Strength, +10% Stamina, +5% MP when wearing clothing.
Bulk-Up!
Add more force to your blows or your throws. Can be used while executing a choke, lock or other submission hold but beware of bone shrapnel and blood spray in those cases. (Stacks with ?)

Brace
Envelop yourself in your physical energy and brace yourself for a blow. Reduces the damage of Braced attacks by 25%. You may unleash a free Counterstrike after a Braced attack.

"Now that, that's out of the way. Let's see what I've got for one of these Gacha Tokens." Adrian said to himself as he used up a Gacha Token
Summon Gem: Armory Arm (Level 4) Added to Summon Machines
"Well, at least I got something to help boost my punching power." Adrian said knowing that Armory Arm would be a great asset in helping him hit harder
"Now then, let's go ahead and pay that bitch Celestia a visit. Since now is as good a time as any to level up my new class and test out my new summon." Adrian added before sending himself straight into the Celestial Dungeon to test out his new class
Once he landed he decided to summon, Armory Arm to equip himself with, which flew towards him in a burst of emerald and sapphire-colored light before hurtling towards him, with him raising his left arm towards it. Soon enough it landed and fitted itself to said arm, the Pyromancer armed and ready proceeded to go out and about to start leveling up his Martial Artist class and once again start turning everything into cinders while he was at it.
With Armory Arm at his disposal, he proceeded to go to work on every creature in his crosshairs launching uppercuts, jabs, and kicks at the creatures while also throwing in a Fireball or Cinder Burst here and there for good measure. Which as it turns out were very much amplified as the power unleashed was enough to incinerate some of the weaker ones outright, this allowed him to close the distance and deliver a barrage of punches, elbows and kicks to finish them off.
Adrian while rampaging through the Dungeon found out that his pyromania now had a new contender as he found a growing joy in every punch that smashed into someone's stomach, kick that lashed out like a bullwhip or a knee and or elbow that was driven into their bodies. With the Gamer having a complete blast as he either incinerated or beat down a creature from the dungeon that dared to come within range of his spells or him beating the living hell out of them, it was all done with an honest to god smile on his face.
Soon after defeating Constellar Pleiades and the other Lightsworn and Constellar monsters that he noticed he leveled up his Pyromancer to Level 64 and Martial Artist to Level 6 and going on 3 quarters of the way to 7. With him soon crossing paths with an irate looking Celestia who glared daggers at him for the wonton bloodshed and destruction he caused, in contrast Adrian had a massive grin on his face that was stained with blood, grime and ashes from his path of destruction.
"So here we are again Celestia. Are you ready for another go-around? Because I most certainly am." Adrian said with a broad smile on his face
"How dare you show your face here after the horrors you've done." Celestia growled her fury at Adrian being damned near tangible
"In my defense, I kinda had to do it since they were in the way of my getting more level-ups. So..I pretty much had to do it. Nothin' personal tho." Adrian responded as what he did wasn't personal so much as he needed the levels for his new class
"You vile monster, in the name of the Lightsworn who have fallen. I will see you dead!" Celestia furiously declared while the pyromancer laughed
"That's the spirit. Right before I crush it along with your windpipe." Adrian spoke before casting Misty Step
The pyromancer soon teleported behind her and landed a hard punch to the back of her head, stunning her as she felt her head ringing from the hit that had her staggering from the impact, before Adrian had used his Bulk Up ability and smashed one of his fists into the back once again. With him smashing his fists into her twice more before she finally erected a wall of deep light to protect herself against Adrian's blows that had her head ringing like crazy, yet this served as nothing more but a mere inconvenience to the pyromancer.
With him letting off 3 of his newly augmented fireballs off at Celestia who saw the orbs of arcane fire soon crash into her with a vengeance, the first one heavily cracking the shield, the second breaking while it absorbed nearly half of the damage and causing flames to crawl up and over her body before the final one she caught the full brunt of. Yet she had just a sliver of a moment to recover as Adrian teleported to her using Misty Step and slammed his knee into her face and following it up with a brutal right cross with Armory Arm to her nose that all but broke it sending a spray of blood out into the open from her now broken nose.
This was followed up by a mule kick to her newly broken nose that knocked her to the ground and from there he proceeded to start repeatedly stomping on her face like it was a filthy insect, with Adrian feeling her bones creak and groan under his repeated stomps. All the while Celestia gripped her staff and began mustering all of her focus into casting a spell to get the pyromancer off her while she felt the bones in her face crack and well on their way to breaking, with her succeeding in casting an almighty flash of light that was enough to blind Adrian.
"Fuck! That shit is bright." Adrian cursed as his vision was nothing but a blurred haze
"When was this monster able to learn to fight?" Celestia wondered to herself as she began sending a volley of light arrows at Adrian
Almost on instinct, Adrian used Misty Step to evade the small hail of light arrows coming his way, although a small handful caught him in the chest and stomach, so in retaliation, he cast Scorching Ray twice and sent a volley of beams made of searing flame out at Celestia. With Celestia's shield managing to hold out for a short while before Adrian had used Misty Step to teleport behind her and land a hard punch to the back of her neck, landing a critical strike that was hard enough to break her concentration and promptly have the shield shatter.
Leaving her subject to multiple rays of emerald flame that bombarded her and leaving her burnt and scorched wreck, all of which was subject to Adrian using Bulk Up to unleash a brutal uppercut that sent her sprawling onto the Adrian following it up by using the clawed fingers on Armory Arm to unleash a brutal pimp slap that slashed off a hearty chunk off her face, blood streaming down her face as she was subject a point-blank Cinder-Blast that had her choking and coughing on the superheated ash that scorched her throat.
While she was blinded by the ashes Adrian proceeded to unleash a quick combination of punches to her stomach like she was a human punching bag, before using Bulk Up to unleash a powerful right hook that knocked her flat on her ass. While she was prone and still coughing from being struck by the Cinder Blast, Adrian snapped his fingers and cast Immolation onto her and watching in sinister glee as the absinthe green fire consumed her being scorching and melting away at flesh and her screaming bloody murder all the while.
Not even a minute passed before Celestia soon was turned to ashes as courtesy of Adrian's spell as the pyromancer had the audacity to take a bag of popcorn out of his inventory and use the flames of her burning body that had turned to ash to heat it up. With him deciding to recover for a while and eat his popcorn all in satisfaction of having gotten to test out his Martial Artist Class and get it up to Level 8 while getting to Level 64 of his Pyromancer class as he headed back to his room.
"Might as well check to see if I've gotten anything from my recent stat gains." Adrian thought to himself as he checked to see what perks he'd gain
For having reached 100 Constitution you gain the Peak Constitution Perk.
Every point of CON for HP you have and gain onwards now has a +50 modifier to it
For having reached 100 Strength you gain the Peak Strength Perk.
All melee damage now deals an additional 15% of damage.
For having reached 250 Intelligence, you gain the Arcane Generator Perk.
All spells now cost 40% less.
When you drop to 0 MP, your mana will automatically refill to 100% once per day.
For having reached 250 Wisdom you gain the Wiseman's Wisdom perk.
Class, Profession and Production XP gains are made much easier.
Party XP Bonus is increased.
"Well, this just made things incredibly easy for me.."Adrian said in being pretty happy with his spell cost being reduced by a pretty significant amount
"Also holy shit, I'm no longer a glass cannon anymore! Now I can finally take a punch and not go out like a bitch." Adrian cheered to himself in having nearly 15K HP from his Constitution-based perk
Congratulations, now you won't go down from someone farting in your direction.
"Hey shut up and let me have this! Because now, now I have enough where I can try some of my more dangerous maneuvers." Adrian spoke as a mad grin came across his face
I don't know if I should be concerned or not by that smile on your face.
"The only people you need to be worried about is whoever is in my crosshairs." Adrian responded with his grin only widening and becoming semi-predatory
(The next night later, 9:45 Pm, Moka's Dorm-room, September 6th, 2016)
It was the next night later as Moka was getting ready for bed and having put on her pajamas and tied her hair up, soon saw the projection of her Inner self sitting on the bed next to her.
"W-What are you doing here?" Moka questioned as she saw the projection of her true form
"Besides seeing how you've been doing. I also wanted to talk to you about that Adrian boy you've been hanging around." Inner Moka told her
"Oh, Adrian. He's been really nice to me. Is something wrong?" Moka asked innocently in seeing nothing wrong with the pyromancer
"There is nothing wrong with you being friends with him. However, I want you to be careful around him. That man is extremely dangerous." Inner Moka answered back in wanting her counterpart to be very, very careful when dealing with him
"I don't know what you're talking about. I mean I know he's strong and all but he's not as dangerous as you think he'd be. Also, he's my friend so I know he won't hurt me." Moka said in defense of Adrian who despite having a temper on him was so far really nice to her
"That is the thing about him, his strength. In the short time we've known him he's been getting stronger and faster than any monster or anyone we've seen. Something that shouldn't be taken lightly at all." Inner Moka replied in being weary of Adrian due to his rapid increases to his already potent power
While Inner Moka was very confident in her own power, knowing full well that there were very few who could match her own power outside of her own family and the rare few that were S-Class monsters, the pyromancer made her weary. Not only did he seem to have a strong command over fire to the point where his very blood was a danger to both herself and her outer self, but it was also due to the fact that he was able to make rapid-fire increases to his own power far faster than what she'd seen in anyone.
The vampire within Moka knowing full well that at the rate Adrian was going that it wouldn't be long before he could reach the level of an S-Class monster like herself and so many others wielded, and an even more frightening prospect that he would surpass her in strength. In addition, although she wouldn't dare to admit it scared her, for she saw that behind those blue eyes and the face of kindness he showed Moka that there was a monster of pure unadulterated chaos and violence that would torch the world just to amuse himself in her eyes.
"So what do you want me to do? I'm not going to stop being friends with him just because you're being paranoid." Moka retorted as she refused to stop being friends with Adrian just because her inner self was being paranoid
"I am not being paranoid. I'm telling you to be cautious of him. Because he may be kind to you for now, but there's something about him that makes me wary of him despite my power." Inner Moka said as she couldn't but feel an aura of constant bloodthirst from Adrian that was always ready to incinerate anything in his sight
"What is it?" Moka asked
"Its not just because of his growing power that makes me wary of him and makes me cautious of you being around him. Its that I can see that behind that smile of his, that if he had his way that he'd incinerate you if it meant getting what he wants." Inner Moka answered back in seeing in Adrian a monster of a man that would burn away the world if it
"No that's not Adrian. I-I just know it isn't." Moka spoke before an idea came to mind
"Well, maybe you'd change your mind if you spent time with and got to know him. If you spent time with him you'd see all your worrying isn't that big of a deal." Moka suggested to her Inner self who was thrown back at the idea
"You can't be serious. What would I even talk about with someone lower than myself? Not only that, but he doesn't even have any real use to us, due to us not being able to drink his blood." Inner Moka scoffed at the fact that she would socialize with Adrian or what they would even talk about for that matter
"Maybe you would have more things to talk about, if I don't know you decided to switch turns with me." Moka suggested as a way for her inner self to get to know the pyromancer better
"The rosary isn't some toy that's to be used. Besides, you know as well as I do that you nor I can take it off. So the idea of me getting to know him is slim to none." Inner Moka countered at the fact that no one not even her Outer self could take off the rosary
"Maybe, maybe Adrian could be the one to take it off us." Moka suggested at the possibility of Adrian being able to take it off of her
"Perhaps, but I doubt it." Inner Moka spoke in doubt that Adrian could be the one
"If you don't have any solutions on how to get along with Adrian, then I'm going to bed." Moka responded with a tone that left no argument to argue which surprised her Inner Self but relented all the same in know her Outer self was set in her ways
"I don't know what your game is, but if you ever hurt Moka. Then I will break you." Inner Moka swore to herself as she saw her counterpart rest for the night
So with Adrian making use of his Engineer class to have eyes upon the Academy and having multi-classed into Martial Artist, it seems as though he's making a good deal of progress in growing stronger to survive. With the school year just beginning for him, there's still more to be dealt with. So find out how that will be handled in the new chapters of A Gamer among Monsters.
Now then with all that out of the way let's get down to some of the reviews from the last chapter.
Trpstar: He will be able to have sex with her in the future and I do understand where your going with it. But I'll hold off on that part until I actually get to it. Also, I already have an idea for how he can get around not currently having a monster form.
Soulbow109: Glad you like how I boosted Moka's character, as I want to give her some much-needed depth that she very much lacks in both the manga and anime and her wanting to be a medic/doctor fits well with her character when you think about it. Furthermore, I'm also glad you like Adrian as a character so far and his Pyromancy as I do have a good deal of stuff planned once he goes onto advanced classes. Also, agreed at the fact that as far as Harem protagonists go Tsukune is without a doubt one of the blandest ones I've seen. Because even Issei has more personality to him and that's saying something. Also as for why Adrian seems as genuine as he does its because thats kind of the thing about him in that if he sees that your actually and truly passionate about something then he'll be behind you and motivate you to go for it and push for you to do it to the best of your ability. Something that I'm gonna build upon later down the line. Also, concerning how Adrian will get the rosary off Moka, that's something I'll get to eventually.
TheOnlyKing: Yup we're finally at the Academy my dude. Also, trust me Saizo was gonna die without a doubt considering that as you said the guy has next to no strength necessary to back up his smack talk.
TheCuriousGuest: Yup he still does meet her on time. Also, glad you liked my making her want to be a doctor/medic as it does fit and make sense with her rather pacifistic nature all things considered and gives her much more depth than being Issa's daughter. Trust me the spider woman's daughter is gonna be revealed in the upcoming chapters as you are correct that she's in Yokai Academy. But who she is, is something I'm saving for a good long while from now. Also as for Yukari, don't count on her being alive long enough for her to get anywhere with Adrian.
demzerff1: Glad you like the story so far and thanks for seeing that it's become a lot more improved from my last one. Considering that with this I'm having a blast writing the new chapters.
McKenray: Trust me she definitely has it coming considering her antics in canon. Not to mention all of the stuff I have planned for when she actually does show up.
vmage2: Huh, I've never considered that being an aspect of it. As I just considered it being a part of him being able to better move quickly and dodge and evade attacks. But now that you mention it would definitely make a lot of sense that it would help him perceive speed, so in that line of thinking I will eventually give him something that as he goes on help him see things in bullet-time.
Dominus1389: I'm all for giving him battleaxes and such. Maybe not a katana as that's just overdone and overused in nearly every story I read. So probably something along the lines of a Khanda, Kilij, Saber or Hand and a Half Sword all things considered.
CoCoDu11: Well, Inner Moka won't really make a physical debut in the story till a good deal later on. Considering that thanks to Adrian there won't really be a need for her to step in and intervene as much as she did in canon. Also, yes she will be in the main harem. But she won't reallly phase out Outer Moka as I still have some plans for her along the way.
NobodyOwens5: I'll consider him summoning the Soul of Cinder as a possibility later down the line, when and if I can fit it into the story. No guarantees.
And that's a wrap as I hoped you guys enjoyed that chapter and all that went into it. So without further delay let's get down into it.
First up we've got Adrian making his first inventions in the form of surveillance drones to have around campus, which I thought would be a good thing to do considering that he'll more than likely want to keep his eyes on everything.
Following that, we've got Adrian just kickin' it for a bit with Outer Moka and bringing up something that changes things for them. Mainly that Moka can't really drink Adrian's blood without his Searing Blood ability going off and burning her in the process.
Coming up after it is Adrian multiclassing into Martial Artist and testing it out on the Celestial Dungeon. I wanted to do instead of Martial Artist because its a class that will give him more to work within the close combat department.
Lastly is both Moka's having their bit with each other in where we see Inner Moka having some weariness of our pyromancer and for good reason.
All that being said please favorite, follow, review and share this story out as much as possible. And flames, for the most part, will be ignored because at the point you're mainly wasting mine and everyone's time. Other than that constructive criticism and ideas on how to improve things are welcome.
