(Chapter 9: Time for a Boss Battle Y'all)
It wasn't all that long after Yukari's 'disappearance' along with that of the lizardmen with not many of the students really giving a shit due to both her half-breed nature as a witch and her being an annoying and perverse little shit, that made it to where it was seen as more of an inconvenience than anything else; and if anything the students took it as a minor godsend that she disappeared. With Moka being so disgusted by the fact that Yukari had gone to such disgusting lengths as to break into her dorm room and steal her panties and undergarments that she put any memory of her out of her mind, all the while Kurumu was of the opinion of good riddance to the little shit.
All of which had Adrian in a supremely good mood at the fact that he quite literally got away with murder, so with him riding an extremely good high right now from killing off Yukari like the worthless pest she was, he felt that he might as well keep it going and finally get around to doing the true boss battle of the Celestial Dungeon for all his money's worth.
(Celestial Dungeon, 8:42 Pm, October 8th, 2016)
It was soon a Saturday night as Adrian had finally traversed his way towards the true boss of the Celestial Dungeon, with him being in an extremely good mood all things considered and as such was ready for the long-awaited showdown.
"Well, I finally made it... Cause man do I feel great about my life right now." Adrian said in feeling good about his life at the moment as he wandered further in search of the true boss of the Celestial Dungeon
'Now let's see who I'm up against and eventually incinerating today.' Adrian thought to himself as he saw Avenging Knight Parshath and used Observe to see how he was gonna stack up

For Parshath has been sent to punish you for the wanton slaughter of the celestials who reside here and wants you dead at his feet.
"Well, in for a penny in for a pounding." Adrian said to himself as he cast Delayed Blast Fireball
With that he watched as the golden bead of compressed arcane fire that surrounded itself by rings of sapphire radiance floated over towards Parshath who didn't notice it until it stood mere meters away from it. The celestial knight galloped towards the bead of arcane flame curious as to what such a thing was doing here, Parshath continuing forwards until it was an arms reach from the small bead of gold and sapphire and proceeded to lightly tap the bead with the tip of its longsword.
Which quickly proved to be its undoing as it exploded in a massive dome of golden flames that shook the area with great force causing the field around it to be sundered from the immense heat and searing flames of the spell that left a smoking crater where Parshath's heavily burnt form lay. The Pyromancer in question was now hiding away to let his mana replenish while also thinking of how he was gonna go forth in his next plan of attack against the burnt Celestial, who had stumbled back onto its feet pained and enraged by the sneak attack dealt to it.
All the while Avenging Knight Parshath after rising to its feet was looking around for where the deceptively strong attack had come from, only for it to raise its shield with an immediate quickness as it was soon bombarded by the salvo of Scorching Rays. Some of them managed to get past its defenses causing Parshath to grunt and grit behind its helmet as it weathered the small bombardment of rays made from arcane fire.
Once it was over the celestial knight looked quickly for where the attacks had come from, readying it's longsword to slice and hack apart his assailant, which quickly came in the form of Adrian using Misty Step to teleport above it. This was then quickly followed through by Adrian casting Cinder Blast as Parshath found itself sputtering and staggering back from the shotgun blast of superheated ash and cinder that had it coughing and blind as it invaded its eyes and throat.
"Damn you, you vile piece of wretched filth! I swear on all of the celestial you've killed I will take your head!" Avenging Knight Parshath roared in trying to attack Adrian despite it once again being rendered blind
'Keep tellin' yourself that, jackass. Meanwhile, I'll be laughin' my ass off while your going up in flames.' Adrian thought to himself as he continued to pour on his assault by casting Last Rays of the Dying Sun
The result was an eruption of scorching fire that exploded like a bomb burning everything and anything in radius of him, before a blackish- green wave of almost sludge-like energy followed through that gave way to an intense cold that could chill a person to the bone. Leaving a thin sheet of frost over the currently scorched earth where Parshath was still struggling and staggering to overcome the effects of the Cinder Blast that left it unable to move.
With Adrian following through with another Cinder Blast to stun Parshath once again before having a baker's dozen of Explosive Trap runes encircle the celestial before him, as he used Misty Step to teleport away and regroup for another assault. All the while Parshath eventually recovered from the superheated ash and cinder its glowing azure eyes scanning the area wearily after taking such heavy damage from the pyromancer, once he saw Adrian who was casually waving at the celestial soon broke into a furious gallop against the pyromancer.
This proceeded to be its undoing as the Explosive Trap runes soon glowed a bright emerald before going off in a small cacophony of explosions that to the Pyromancer were almost symphonic, as he watched a heavily scorched Parshath come out of the blaze. Yet the moment Parshath came within even 30 feet of Adrian he merely snapped his fingers and cast Thunderwave which caused the celestial to be sent flying back 10 feet in a crumpled heap.
Yet Parshath never even got the chance to fully rise to it's feet as Adrian decided to just say fuck it and bombard it with a small multitude of Fireballs; the emerald spheres of arcane fire exploding like small artillery shells that crashed against it in flashes of bright green and sapphire. With Adrian continuing to fire until his mana was in the low hundreds; the smoke and debris soon revealed the now dying and blackened form of Avenging Knight Parshath whose form showed heavy cracks and major burns all across its form.
"Just you wait, you wretched heathen. As one day divine vengeance will reign down on your head and you will pay your crimes." Avenging Knight Parshath said in mustering every final bit of strength it had to say its last words before dying off
"Whatever. All that matters is that I'm still alive while your currently a torched carcass, so suck it you piece of shit" Adrian said dusting himself off of the dust, ash and soot from his pajamas
"Well, I wonder what I won from all of this?" Adrian wondered as a pop up from the game appeared to make note of what he gained from his victory over Parshath

'Well, this was definitely a productive use of my night. Especially, because I finally got my White Mage class.' Adrian thought to himself with a grin spreading across his face before he headed back to the regular world
"Now I finally have some options to play around with. Better question is, what other cool shit will I get once I complete White Mage." Adrian pondered to himself as he was teleported back into his room now thinking of all of the new possibilities open to him by his newfound White Mage class
Worry about completing it first before you think of what sort of stuff you'll gain from it. Because you getting ahead of yourself is gonna get your ass in trouble.
"Relax, I'll be fine. I'm just excited about having a new class to soon mess around with is all." Adrian responded with a large grin on his face
(The next day later, October 9th, 2016, 3:45 Pm, Adrian's Dormroom)
It was the next day later as Adrian was sitting beside himself with his headphones on drawing up more blueprints for his future inventions and wondering what else he was gonna do for the upcoming week.
'Well, let's see what I got now that I'm level 90.' Adrian thought to himself as he looked to see what new skills were gained from his Pyromancer class

If they fail they will take (27,000+INT*10) Fire damage and (27,000+INT*10) Bludgeoning Damage. If they succeed they will take half damage.
"Holy shit...I can now do the ultimate flex and summon fucking meteors on people! Madara Uchiha can eat his heart out with this in my pocket." Adrian cheered to himself at the fact that he now summon meteors to decimate his enemies into oblivion
'Now then let's see who I get from some of these tokens. Please let them be something dope.' Adrian thought to himself as he used up 3 of his tokens in the hopes that he'd get some dope stuff from them

"I got the Impaler and a killer loli. Well, at least I know I can sick Jack on Dumbledore's minions. That'll be a butt-ton of fun to see Jack tear them to shreds." Adrian said to himself with a grin on his face at using Jack to tear Dumbledore's cronies to shreds
Granted the killer loli will make short work of any of Dumbledore's minions. That still doesn't solve how you'll go about getting rid of Dumbledore himself.
"Fair point. That's gonna be a hell of a task to accomplish all by itself. Since the old bastard pretty much has Hogwarts as his personal fortress. Not to mention that I couldn't really kill him in a head to head fight, without it screwing me over in the process." Adrian agreed with the Game on the simple fact that there was no surefire way he could get rid of Dumbledore as it currently stood without it screwing him over in the long-term
Granted he could kill Dumbledore through sheer brute force of his own growing magical prowess, but that would fuck him over in the long-term considering the monstrous hold the old goat had over everyone and as such would be made into a damn villain if he went about killing him the manner he heavily favored when dealing with everyone. Therefore, alongside running a smear campaign against Dumbledore he'd also have to find some sort of way to get him out of Hogwarts and kill him in a manner that wouldn't link back to him; because he knew that taking him out of Hogwarts and taking away a good chunk of political power and his allies were key to ensuring his position as Dark Lord and his crushing the old goat under-foot.
"Unless I can find a way to poison him and have him croak that way. Or better yet get him out of Hogwarts so I can get rid of him in his sleep. Then my list of ideas on how to kill him are slim to none." Adrian added in knowing that at the current moment there was no real way he could kill Dumbledore without it screwing him over in the long-term
I would tell you how you'd be able to do such a thing. But that wouldn't be entertaining at all for me, if I gave you the answer.
"Go figure that you wouldn't tell me how I could do it. But, I've got a shit-ton of time until I cross that bridge. Until then I have to figure out how I'll run the Death Eaters once I take it over from Voldemort. On top of getting my Engineer class maxed out once I do, if my plans for them are gonna work." Adrian said as he had plans for the Death Eaters once he maxed out his Engineer class
...Don't tell me you plan on making cyborg dark wizards. Because of all the things I've heard from you yet. That has to be one of the most unconventional and odd thing I've heard you say so far.
"You hit it on the nail! Because why have regular magicians as your minions. When you have cybernetically enhanced ones to function as you secret police and muscle. Like I said I'm gonna do what Voldemort failed to do and take being a dark lord to a whole other level." Adrian responded with a grin on his face for what he had planned with the Death Eaters once he maxed out Engineer
I'll say this much about you. You're certainly an interesting one.
"Thank you. Now if you don't mind I gotta get back to work on making my stealth tech. I think I'm finally close to a breakthrough." Adrian said to himself as he cracked his knuckles and began to work on a cloaking device
While Adrian soon went to work on crafting himself a cloaking device, unknown to him the purple-haired, pale skinned girl by the name of Mizore Shirayuki was watching him from afar sitting on a tree-branch with a pair of binoculars in hand.
'Adrian Taylor...one day I can't wait to you to be mine.' Mizore thought to herself with a small smile on her face at Adrian becoming hers someday
(2 days later, Yokai Academy, October 11th, 2016, 2:40 Pm)
It was 20 minutes till 3 in the afternoon as Adrian had just finished tutoring Kurumu and was currently enjoying some brownies she made.
"Once again, you make some damn amazing brownies!" Adrian chirped happily as he munched on another brownie made by the succubus
"It's no problem, I have to thank you somehow for helping. Besides, you really like my sweets." Kurumu said with a broad smile on her face as the pyromancer devoured her brownies
"Of course I do, I mean you make some pretty good stuff. So of course I'd love your sweets!" Adrian replied as his sweet tooth from his previous life may have followed him here, but with how great Kurumu's baked goods were he could care less
"Still you've been doing pretty well. At the rate we're going, you should be making at least a B or even a solid B+ in Mrs. Riruko's class by the end of the school year." Adrian said as so far Kurumu was improving pretty well to where her work could pass for a solid C
"It's all thanks to my awesome tutor. Yahahhooo!" Kurumu cheered in being thankful for Adrian's help
"Hey, its no problem. Like I said, its no skin off my back to help ya out." Adrian told her as him helping out Kurumu was really nothing major for him to do whatsoever
"Besides, if there's anything else you ever want to do with me. Then all you gotta do is just ask. Because I don't really do much outside of schoolwork. So all you gotta do is say something and we can chop it up anytime you'd like." Adrian added considering that the majority of his time was either spent drafting blueprints for future gadgets, training himself up or drafting up how he'd take over his next world he didn't really do much
"Well, I was thinking of wanting to still take you on your offer of getting to know you more. Because..I do actually really like you Adrian." Kurumu told him as she did find herself wanting to know more and more about Adrian in having grown to really like the pyromancer
"Really, now." Adrian said
"Of course, I mean your really nice. You've been helping me with my algebra, your really handsome and I could go on and on. But I think you get the idea." Kurumu said with a bit of a red tinge to her cheeks
During the almost month that Kurumu had been getting to know the pyromancer she had actually grown to genuinely like him as a person, in seeing him as a actually nice, loyal, protective and very driven person that had managed to make her start genuinely falling for him.
"Well, ain't that somethin' else." Adrian thought to himself at the fact that he got Kurumu to fall for him
"That's real nice of you to tell me that. Yet since you feel this way about, I'll tell you what." Adrian said to the succubus
"How about sometime around Halloween you come over to my place, and we have a movie marathon where we just chill together. You could think of it as something of a date night if you will." Adrian suggested to the succubus as something they could do together as a sort of date night
"That sounds really great Adrian." Kurumu said being very much for the idea of a movie night with Adrian
"Excellent! Hopefully, I'll have everything set up by the time we get together." Adrian replied in hoping that some things he wanted delivered would come soon enough
Adrian was hoping to get a T.V and laptop ordered here for the express reason of not only having a television to use for entertainment purposes, but at the rate he was going with his Engineer class he wanted to program more of his machines to be connected to his television and laptop. This way he'd have a more efficient way of keeping tabs on things without the use of having them to come back to his room every week and then out again.
"Besides that, anything else you wanna do? Cause anything you'd like to do I'm down for.. Within reason of course" Adrian asked considering that he was mostly good to do anything with Kurumu as long as it didn't get out of hand
"Maybe we could do karaoke sometime." Kurumu suggested to the Gamer as something they could do
"Wait a minute, you can sing?" Adrian asked while Kurumu nodded in pride of her skills as a singer
"Of course I can. Because I know for a fact that I can blow anyone out of the park when it comes to singing." Kurumu answered back with complete confidence and pride in her singing abilities
"Well, I guess one of these days I'll have to see you put your money where your mouth is." Adrian replied in wanting to see her put her money where her mouth is
"You'll be seeing me doing that and more with my mouth when we actually start dating." Kurumu said with small undertones of lewdness in her voice as the Gamer smirked in immediately catching onto the innuendo
"Yeah...I can tell we're gonna go great together." Adrian said in knowing that he was gonna have great times with Kurumu in the future
"Of course we will, because I know for a fact that I'll make a wonderful girlfriend." Kurumu boasted in knowing full that she'd make a great girlfriend
"I'll hold you to that, Kurumu. Anyways, I'm gonna head out. So I'll see you later." Adrian told the succubus as he gathered his things and soon headed off
"You know I should really ask him when his birthday is. Because if we're gonna be going out together then I should start putting a really good surprise together." Kurumu mused to herself in making a mental note to find out when Adrian's birthday was so she could put together a worthwhile birthday present for the Gamer
(Yokai Academy, 2:57 Pm, October 13th, 2016, 2 days later)
It was another 2 days later as it was a bit after classes had let out as Adrian was currently enjoying a bottle of lemonade until he saw Moka and hailed her to come over and chop it up with him for a bit.
"So how are ya doin' after...well Yukari is no longer here?" Adrian said after the two had spent a good bit of time chatting with each other for awhile
"Its...It's taken a while, but I can finally start to rest a little bit easy after what happened to her." Moka replied in starting to get back into actually having peaceful rest in knowing that Yukari wasn't around
"Although, because of her I decided to have the door to my room locked and deadbolted. After what she did, it freaked me out so much that I thought that it would be a good idea. I still can't believe that she broke into my room without me even hearing a single thing from her." Moka told the pyromancer that thanks to Yukari's breaking into her room she decided to invested in getting deadbolts and locks placed on her door to prevent stuff like that from happening to her again
"I'm sorry that happened to you, to begin with. I knew she was fuckin' creeper. However, I didn't think she'd go so far as to break into your room and steal your stuff. Now that's a whole other level of creepiness." Adrian spoke in having figured that even in canon Yukari was a bit of a creeper but what she did with Moka was an entirely new tier of creepiness
"...Adrian, I do want to ask you something?" Moka said with a bit of hesitance in voice
"Go ahead, shoot." Adrian replied
"Is it a bad thing that I'm glad she's gone? Because I feel so much better now that she's disappeared to wherever she was." Moka asked in having found a bit of happiness and a great deal of comfort in Yukari's disappearance
"Not at all, Moka. If anything you deserve to feel as happy as you want too that she's gone. Especially, with how much she did with all of her harassing you and pretty much molesting you like it was going out style. To tell the truth, if I were in your shoes I'd be dancing with joy on her non-existent grave that she's gone." Adrian answered back in seeing no reason why Moka should feel bad when in fact she should feel the clear opposite
"Thank you. I..I just wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was just lonely and needed a friend. That all of what she did was just some misguided attempt at being my friend. But after she broke into my room and Kurumu showing me what she stole from me. I had to face the facts that she's not some kid looking for a friend. Instead she was a disgusting pervert taking advantage of me, and I let her do it to me... How could I have been such a gullible idiot." Moka said lamenting in reflection of how Yukari had taken advantage of her kindness
With Moka having kicked herself constantly since it was revealed what Yukari had broken into her dorm room that she'd been played all for a fool, in having hated that she trusted Yukari to want her friendship when instead all she wanted was to get in her pants. Something that her Inner self while being rightfully smug in knowing that Yukari would escalate to stealing her panties and breaking into her room to do so, yet she was thankful that despite her Inner self's prideful and at times haughty nature that she never rubbed it in her face that she was right.
"For one you shouldn't beat yourself up over it. I mean you did what any person would in your situation and believed that someone wanted to be friends with you. Although not to the extent that you let happen, since letting her feel up on you was taking it too far. Still your heart was in the right place. It just sucks that it taken advantage of by some witch who couldn't keep it in her pants." Adrian said as he knew full well that she shouldn't beat herself up considering that it wasn't her fault a perverted little shit exploited her good nature
"But I'm pretty sure that after all of this, ya gotta be more careful. Cause this could've been a whole lot worse, as had this been anybody else. Then you could've wound up in serious trouble." Adrian added in knowing that had this been anyone else that Moka could've been in serious trouble that could or would've resulted in her death
"I know. I just wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt so bad, since I know what its like to be alone. Worse, I know what its like to be hated by people around you." Moka replied sullenly from having known from experience what it was like to be hated and scorned
"Not much I can really say about that." Adrian said in not knowing what to really say on that front in never having had such experiences
"The best thing I can really say on that front, is just to be more careful. Because not everyone here is genuinely nice. Some just pretend so that they can do what Yukari did to you and others...well others will pretend so that they can do far worse things." Adrian told her in wanting Moka to be more careful of trusting others in wanting to prevent what Yukari did or worse yet her getting violated by some schmuck
"Don't worry, Adrian. After what happened with Yukari, I'm going to be much more careful around people." Moka replied in having become more weary of the people around her
"Good to know. Cause it'd be a real shame to lose out on a wonderful friend, such as yourself." Adrian said getting a semi-bashful smile from Moka
"Ah, stop it Adrian. You're making me blush." Moka said in doing a playful shove to Adrian
With said shove equating towards Adrian getting sent 35 feet into a stone pillar where he landed in a dazed heap, both the pyromancer and vampire having forgotten that despite Moka's rather gentle and demure nature she was still incredibly strong was currently peeling himself out of the heavily cracked stone pillar. Almost immediately Moka rushed over towards Adrian who at the current moment felt like he got hit by a truck as he started to recover from getting 6K of his health blown apart by Moka who was apologizing to him, the Gamer in seeing it as a 'harmless' mistake merely brushed it off.
"Anyways, Moka..also wow you're fucking strong. Why don't we go and get somethin' to eat." Adrian partially groaned in pain in having forgotten that Moka had a tremendous amount of strength at her disposal
"Are you sure you're gonna be ok?" Moka asked worriedly for the pyromancer's state of being
"Oh yeah, I'll be fine." Adrian answered back in dusting himself off
"Now enough about me, let's enjoy the rest of our day and get somethin' to eat. All on me." Adrian offered as Moka nodded and the two headed off to get themselves something to eat
Unknown to them Mizore had been watching them quietly from a maple tree about 10 yards away more specifically eyeing the pyromancer who she couldn't help but feel drawn to, and more importantly who she desired to have as her own.
'Just you wait Adrian. One day we'll be together.' Mizore thought to herself as ice and permafrost creeped around the tree bark she was hiding behind
"And nothing will stand in the way of that. So I'd watch your back Moka and that succubus as well." Mizore said to herself as the ice deepened and grew to the point of it cracking and nearly shredding the tree she hid behind
So with Adrian having defeated the first boss of the Celestial Dungeon and starting to move forward in getting with Kurumu. Things are looking to further brighten for the pyromancer. Will things continue to brighten for Adrian and company or will all of this good cheer soon go down in flames? That's something you'll have to find out on the new chapters of A Gamer among Monsters
With all that being said let's get down to some of the reviews from the last chapter.
TheOnlyKing: Yeah I'm surprised too considering that the only thing she really was in the story when you break it down was the token loli and pervert character for Tsukune's harem..other than that not much else. Furthermore Kubasaki's gonna get obliterated as he doesn't really register on Adrian's radar. Also, she will start following more of Inner Moka's lead and actually grow more and more of spine.
superpierce: Like I said Adrian's evil. As the thing is that Yukari pissed him off pretty severely with what she did. So no matter what she was still gonna die.
Yinko: Well, his arrogance is warranted considering that from his perspective his fire magic has allowed him to pretty much incinerate whatever gets in his way. But thanks to him having the White Mage class on his side he can now mix up his options to deal out holy magic based damage, something that the world of Harry Potter doesn't really have a counter too.
jenes-db: He will eventually go to the Harry Potter world to learn some dark magics like Necromancy and Blood Magic. But as for when he'll go there that's something that's gonna be up in the air as for how many chapters it'll take. But it will be soon enough.
Mckenray: Oh yeah Harry really is considering that he can't do magic while he's at the Dursley's so all Adrian would have to do is just firebomb the place while Harry is asleep and its pretty much Game, Set, Match from there. Also, he will eventually look into rituals to amp up his own magic and his own mana reserves. Since he can and more than likely will use Harry's death to his advantage when it comes to his smear campaign against Dumbledore.
Guest01010: Well, it only made sense that with him killing off Yukari that he'd get a good payoff for it. So why not the ability to summon Fate Servants.
NazgulBelserion: First of dude don't slap me or you will get a drop-kick to the family jewels. But don't worry man I've got something in the works to get Neville off the table. Also, side note why would anyone give him the last name of Longbottom. Because with something like that its pretty much prime bullying material and makes it really hard to take you seriously tbh. Furthermore Adrian won't be going to Hogwarts as it would conflict with his becoming Minister of Magic and a Dark Lord as I stated in earlier chapters. As for Bellatrix I do have plans for her, its just gonna take some time to set up. But yeah Adrian will eventually take on some of Akainu's character traits later on in the story.
Guest: I mainly planned on summoning up Jack the Ripper so that Adrian could have a personal assassin to take out Dumbledore's allies. But I will eventually get around to having Mordred, since she's one of my favorite Fate characters of all time.
AvidReader2425 (Chapters 1-8): Glad you've been enjoying the story so far and I've already got an idea for a racial class that'll come into play with him taking up the White Mage class. Also, I will be doing some of that when he goes into different worlds like Harry Potter for example. Also, Supernatural sounds like such a fun world for Adrian to rampage in..mental note have Adrian eventually go there and just obliterate canon.
Tristan Mabey: Dude I agree with you wholeheartedly. Considering that there are a lot of Fate servants who can do what she does 10 fold better. Since she pretty much was just the token loli character and not much else besides that.
NobodyOwens5: I'll be trying to put my hand more into the romance side of things since my thing is more on writing out dope actions scenes and world building than romance and smut. Also, I'm sorry but Adrian with his Sin of Wrath flaw active would probably incinerate Hermione and call it a day if she pissed him off.
Soulbow109: Yeah Yukari won't really be missed by anyone. And the girls I have planned for Harry Potter so far are Narcissa Malfoy, Bellatrix, Rita Skeeter and Fem Voldemort. Also in terms of Fate servants I plan on summoning Jack the Ripper and Semiraimis eventually.
That takes care of that as I hoped y'all enjoyed this chapter and everything that went into it. However, without further delay let's get down to it now shall we.
First up we've got Adrian in his first boss battle which I hoped y'all like, on top of Adrian now gaining access to the White Mage class which is gonna come in real handy later down the line.
Following that up we've got more of Adrian talking with the Game in terms of how he's gonna go about things once he reaches the Harry Potter universe and all that jazz.
Next is Adrian and Kurumu just chillin' out with each other and things starting to move towards them being an actual thing, as unlike Tsukune, Adrian can actually go after a girl.
Lastly we've got Adrian talking with Moka in the aftermath of Yukari's 'disappearance' which I hoped y'all liked considering that because of this Moka's not gonna be as trusting and a bit less gullible than in canon.
All that being said please favorite, follow, review and share this story out as much as possible. And flames for the most part will be ignored because at the point you're mainly wasting mine and everyone's time. Other than that constructive criticism and ideas on how to improve things are welcome.
