(Chapter 11: I meet a Ice Woman)
It would soon be the month of November as Adrian had all things considered felt a mix of boredom and happiness as things headed into early November, something that was proving to be a bit of a conundrum for the pyromancer. With him being quite happy that his planned movie night with Kurumu had went off without a hitch in having shared a good number of laughs and a general atmosphere of good cheer during said night, with Adrian feeling pretty good about things considering thanks to some of the horror movies they watched he wound up with Kurumu cuddled up next to him.
Yet the feeling of boredom came from the fact that besides some of the S-Class monsters in Yokai and the remaining members of Anti-Thesis that their wasn't anything to really give him a challenge, as he knew that as he stood that it would be sucide at his current level to go up against an S-Class monster. So with nothing to really do he decided to spend the rest of this time tinkering and messing around with his Engineer Class, with it being thanks to the Game supplying him with adequate materials that he was able to finally build a Cloaking Device and get to Level 24 of said class; while also having working on building a Mark 2 version of his surveillance drones.
(Adrian's Dorm-room, 6:42 Pm, November 3rd, 2016)
It was 18 minutes till 7 in the evening as Adrian was mainly in his room just toying around with his cloaking device and some other inventions he was working on, giddy at the fact that he finally was able to successfully build the device and make it a sustainable model for him to use both in combat and when he wanted to personally do reconaissance.
"I can't believe I finally got this thing to work. After so many goddamn failures I got it too work! This calls for celebration with cake!" Adrian cheered as he turned off his cloaking device which had him reappear in a shimmer of emerald light with the intent of celebrating with lemon cake Kurumu had made him
"Now I can get to work on all sorts of fun stuff to help make me an ambush predator. Although machines on how to eliminate any sound I make and any scent I give off are gonna a be bitch to sort out. No matter I'll have all of winter break plus being in the world of Harry Potter to sort out how to do just that." Adrian noted to himself as one thing he'd have to get around is how he'd go about inventing something to get rid of making sound from his footsteps and movements or any scent that he'd give off
Well, I'll say this much. Out of everything you've built so far. This has to be one of your most impressive trinkets to date. Now if only you could create one to actually make yourself funny. That would be nothing short of a miracle, since you have the humor of a monkey with down syndrome.
"Hey! Give my machines more credit than that. As its thanks to my drones that I've been able to keep my hands in everything. Especially now that I can view things from my laptop and know what the hell is going on. By the way I am actually funny, I don't need any machines to augment what's already good." Adrian replied in knowing full well that his machines thus far had proven useful too him on top of knowing that he was actually decently humoress when he wanted to be
"I mean its thanks to them that I know that so far the Public Safety Committee, so far doesn't give a fuck about what I do. Because with all of what I've seen I'm pretty much in the clear to do whatever the hell I want to...Minus soloing an S-class monster or killing Kaneshiro and the rest of Anti-Thesis all on my own." Adrian added in having made full note of the fact that his actions thus far have left him still away from said Committee coming after him
Something which genuinely surprised Adrian who would've thought that with his antics in incinerating a considerable number of students, that it would've caused some fuss amongst them in wanting to see why this person was just going out and about murdering people. Perhaps he hadn't been making quite destructive enough displays of power, which angered him somewhat as he hoped had hadn't been going soft sense his time at Yokai Academy; because if that were the case then it would seem his going to the Harry Potter universe would be all the more paramount to making it clear he was a destructive force of nature.
Your guess is as good as mine. Then again think about the people you've roasted to ashes. A future rapist, some lizardmen who aren't worth all the much. A witch that the majority of the student body could care less if she died or not. A group of fanboys who were utter creeps and a bunch of monsters who by their standards are seen as abominations. So really you've probably been cleaning house for them and sorting out a good portion of their problems for them.
"Makes a lot of sense now that you mention it. Still you would've thought they would've raised some stink about me." Adrian said in having thought that they would've made some fuss about him by now
I guess you aren't as special as you think. Perhaps all your little fireworks just aren't making a big enough bang like you hoped. Who knows maybe you've been getting soft after all this time.
"Whatever. Anyways, I'm gonna go back to looking through my drones and seeing what they're up to. Hopefully its better than listening to your smart mouth." Adrian responded in rolling his eyes as he sat down too look through his drones and see whatever the hell they were up too
'Then again maybe its right that I should think about stepping up my destruction. Because I really hope I'm not going soft.' Adrian thought to himself as he watched the video feed through his laptop
With his viewings being not much to go on, in terms of what was going on during the evening that soon turned into night as Adrian decided that if he was gonna do this then he might as well have some snacks with him; which he gained in the form of a few Hershey bars and a bottle of cranberry juice to drink. His viewing through the drones continued until he noticed something that caught his attention and that was in the form of Mizore sitting on a tree with a pair of binoculars, with Adrian deciding to use said drone to see where said tree was in relation to him.
Soon enough he saw that it was directly outside his dorm room a couple dozen yards away, and deciding to see how long this had been going on had rewound the footage to see that she'd been watching him for around 2 and a half hours straight. So deciding to see what this was all about he quickly put on a sweatshirt and decided to head out to where Mizore's location was in order to talk to his newfound stalker in the yuki-onna, which didn't take much time at all for him to reach.
"Hey! Um, Mizore right! Do you wanna come down and talk to me for a little bit? Because I'd rather you do that than just stare at me through my window!" Adrian called out to the yuki-onna who he saw expertly climb down from the tree before coming up too him
"Well, now that your down here. Do you wanna explain why you were doin' all of that? Because you could just come and talk to me." Adrian told the violet-haired snow woman, since all she had to do was just come and say she wanted to talk and he would've gladly started choppin' it up with the yuki-onna
"I didn't think you'd notice me. Especially when your being so friendly with the succubus and the vampire." Mizore replied in having thought the pyromancer wouldn't notice her with how involved he was with Moka and Kurumu
"All you really had to do was come up and say hit to me. Had you just said hello and said you wanted to do stuff with me, then I would be more than happy to spend some time with you." Adrian said to the yuki-onna as all Mizore had to do was come up and say hi to him and he probably would've spent time with her as all it was in his mind was a simple matter of saying hello to him
"I really wish I had known that earlier. Because I would like to know you better, since we're both alike you and I." Mizore spoke as she got closer to Adrian who quirked a brow at that
"Really? How exactly are we alike. Because last I checked we're opposites in terms of me being white-hot fire and you being cold as ice. No offense." Adrian wondered as to how they were alike considering that their elements were the complete opposite of each other
"We may be opposites when it comes to elements, but in others we're alike. One of the most, I've found how we're both alike is that we're both killers." Mizore told him which got Adrian's curiosity
"Really you've got yourself a body count? Alright then show me what you can do then." Adrian spoke in being curious as to what she was capable of
That in mind Mizore in a display of impressive speed seemed to blur out of Adrian's sight and back again within the span of a few moments, once he looked around he saw multiple shards of ice coming from nearly a dozen trees. All of which from what Adrian's eyes could see were not only completely frozen wherever they touched, but said trees were also shredded as those someone had taken a large buzzsaw and raked it across their surface.
"Not gonna lie. What you just did, was pretty cool." Adrian said in being impressed by Mizore's speed and capabilities with her ice powers

"Thank you." Mizore said her pale face reddening slightly at the compliment
"Hey its nothin' if anything you should be proud of yourself. Because I'd hate to be on the receiving end of that." Adrian replied in seeing that Mizore was far more of a speedster than in canon
"That's not much really. Its just some of the small scale stuff I can do." Mizore said a small smile coming across her face
"Alright. Well, besides you having dope ice powers. Your more than welcome to come and hang out with me anytime you want." Adrian told her as Mizore was free to hang out with him at anytime
"I'd like that. Thank you, Adrian." Mizore who despite her stoic demeanor was internally happy at being offered the welcome hand
"No problem at all. Anyways, have a nice night and feel free to come swing by my dorm room. Adrian said as he waved her goodbye while a now faintly smiling Mizore was left with her thoughts
'Finally, I have a chance to make Adrian mine and mine alone. All I have to do is figure out a way to get rid of the competition.' Mizore thought to herself in wondering how she was gonna put her skills to use to make sure the other skanks at the academy wouldn't get in the way of what's hers
"I do wonder if he would've helped me dispose of you. Since I can't believe I caught you looking at what was mine." Mizore spoke as he walked over to a girl she'd tied up and her mouth shut as she looked at the snow woman with fright and terror
"Oh well, I'll worry about that later. Right now I have to find a place to dump you. Can't have you getting in the way of my Adrian." Mizore added as she tuned her hand into sharpened ice claws and slashed the throat open of the screaming girl before dragging her away to find somewhere to dump and or bury the corpse
(2 days later, November 5th, 2016, 3:45 Pm, Yokai Academy)
It was the 2 days later as Adrian had gone to see how Moka was doing with him not having much else to do and having already finished up his blueprints for more machines and having practiced with his Martial Artist class a bit in his free-time.
"Hey, Moka are ya doin' ok?" Adrian questioned as he opened up to see Moka
"Oh hey Adrian, I'm doing ok. Just a tiny bit under the weather is all." Moka said as she opened up the door which caused Adrian to be a bit taken aback at appearance
"Are you sure? Because your looking a little pale." Adrian noted at Moka's nearly haggard appearance
With Moka now looking a few shades paler in terms of her overall skin color, her eyes having bags under them as though she's gone without sleep for a few days and her normally vibrant green eyes having a ruby red hue to them, while her eyes had dialated into predatory slits before back to the regular shape.
"I-I'm fine. I just haven't had any blood in the past couple weeks and its..its starting to show isn't it?" Moka told him as her current appearance was due to her not having any blood for an extended period of time
"...Yeah. Are you sure your gonna be ok? Because if I need to leave or something then I'll come back at a better time." Adrian asked in wanton to make sure that it was safe to be around her when she was n a state of not having had blood for an extended period of time
'Because there's no way, I'm gonna deal with her going on a rampage because she wants blood.' Adrian thought to himself as he was prepared to bolt so he wouldn't deal with Moka going on a hunger induced rampage to satiate it
"I'll be fine, Adrian. I promise everything is ok." Moka assured him in that everything was fine with her
"Alright. I'll take your word for it." Adrian said his voice still holding a bit of weariness before he entered her dorm room
"So is everything else going ok with you? Ya know minus your whole lacking of had blood lately." Adrian asked as he saw that everything for the most part was ok in Moka's room
"I've been doing pretty good actually. In fact, I've started looking for summer internships and programs at some of the hospitals here in Japan. I've also applied to some programs abroad in the United States, Russia, China and Germany." Moka told Adrian that she had gone forward to look for programs in the country so she could get started in learning more and more about medicine
"Oh really? How's that been working out for you." Adrian asked in curiosity to how her endeavors had been going
"So far I haven't had any replies from any of the places I've applied to. Which is fine, as I'm sure they're busy and all with other people applying for other spots. But I really hope I can get into one of them or even a medical program abroad." Moka said hopeful that she'd get into one of the many internships and medical programs she's applied too
"I have full faith that you will Moka? I mean you're one of the smartest people at the academy, so if you don't get into at least one of them. Then I'll be surprised, because they'd have to be total idiots to not take you on." Adrian said as he would be honestly surprised if Moka didn't get accepted onto one of the programs of internships she applied for
"I'm sure your just saying that." Moka said in waving off the compliment
"I'm not just saying it to hype you up Moka. I really do mean it when I say that they'd be idiots not to take you on. Because, from how hard you throw yourself at schoolwork and anything else I see you do, so I know for a fact that you would be a shoe in for any single one of these programs or internships you apply for." Adrian said in seeing how dedicated that Moka was about everything she threw herself into something he valued in the vampire he knew for a fact that it would be a definite that she'd get into at least a couple of them
"Thank you Adrian, that actually means a lot coming from you." Moka replied touched by Adrian's uplifting words

The creatures of the night who drain the blood of their prey see you as a sort of kindred spirit and someone they can actually hold a decent conversation with. Affection/Reputation and Obedience rises faster with Vampires.
'This is gonna come in real handy with Inner Moka and hopefully any other vampire I come across.' Adrian thought to himself as he briefly looked over the perk he just gained from Moka
"Its no problem. By the way, Moka. I gotta ask you one thing. How is it that you have the time to apply for all this stuff and focus on wanting to be a doctor?" Adrian questioned as to how Moka had the time to do so
"Well, when I have the free time and because I don't like to sleep all that much. Because its time that I could be using to be better at what I want to do. I use that time to read up on the books you give me, or apply to those programs and internships. Even before all of this I use what time can get to learn other languages in case I get the chance to study abroad." Moka answered back in not really caring for sleep and as such used every waking moment available to her to improve herself
"..Wait a minute you can speak other languages?" Adrian asked in never knowing Moka was capable of such while the pink-haired vampire nodded in pride of being multilinglal
"Yes! Besides English and Japanese. I can also speak Chinese, German, and Spanish and I'm currently working on how to speak Russian. The difficult part is trying to get the pronunciation for their words correct." Moka replied in having endeavored to finish learning Russian before the end of the school year and having also been proud that she was able to accomplish what not many people her age could
"Ok. Not gonna lie, you just became a whole lot more awesome to me. Since anyone who can be as focused as you are at doing things has my complete respect." Adrian said in finding his respect of Moka growing upon hearing that
Because if there was one thing that Adrian would respect about anyone was that they were dedicated and passionate about something, that they would have his complete support and attention to them as long as they remained dedicated to their chosen field. With the pyromancer being so genuinely supportive of Moka because he saw that she put in a great amount of dedication and hard-work into her desire to become a doctor and as such felt nothing but respect towards her, hence why he would be ready to lend his support towards her in her endeavors in the medical field.
"Thank you for the kind words Adrian. Again, it feels nice to hear it from you. Because I don't really get to have much support from my family when it comes to my wanting to be a doctor. Especially with my little sister who isn't particularly fond of me. Then again after all of her antics, she's one of the very few people I can't stand at all." Moka said in having to stand by and be her own support system due to the lack of support she got from her own family, especially since Kokoa scorned her very existence for something out of her hands concerning her Inner vampire being stuck in the rosary
"Well, the only real thing I can say about them is. That they can go right ahead and fuck themselves. Because if they can't recognize you for being an incredibly hard worker, who I'm sure is gonna make a fantastic doctor one of these days. Then they don't deserve you at all." Adrian replied as in his honest opinion if Moka's family couldn't recognize the dedication and passion Moka put towards her goal then they could suck it
"Again, thank you Adrian. I needed that. Still, I'd appreciate it if you'd leave. I wasn't expecting company and I still have to brush up on those books you got me. On top of practicing my Russian." Moka told him as she had kept herself to remaining diligent in her studies and of her practicing medicine
"Alright. If you ever wanna talk to me. My door is always open." Adrian spoke before taking his leave while Moka went to grab her book of Russian terms
"...I swear that was too close for comfort. I could feel all of that delicious blood pumping through his body the entire time he was talking." Moka said to herself in being thankful that her will was strong enough to resist the urge to drink Adrian like a juice box
"If there is one thing I will commend you on, it is your willpower. Had it been myself in your situation, then I'm pretty sure I would've tried to drain him dry of his blood." Inner Moka replied in knowing that what her Outer self lacked in combat prowess she made up for with a great amount of willpower and drive
"Well, if I want to reach my goal of becoming a doctor or just a medic. Then I have to have a strong mind. Besides, Adrian who supports what I do and you of course. I don't have anyone to be there for me." Moka spoke in knowing that she had to be of strong will in order to pursue anything
"If there is one thing I will say about him. It is that despite my earlier reservations about him, he's proven to be a good friend to you." Inner Moka said in seeing that despite everything she believed about Adrian he seemed actually genuine in his friendship with her Outer self
"Like I told you from the start. You were being paranoid about nothing, which is why you should really take the chance to get to know him. If you do then you'll see what I see in him." Moka told her Inner self that she should give Adrian an honest chance to know him as she had in these past few months
"...Perhaps your right. So far I've sensed zero malicious intent or ill will towards you. Therefore, I'll consider doing so. Hopefully, it can be done when a way to get this bothersome rosary off is a possibility." Inner Moka said in being in consideration of the idea
"Good, because he's a nice guy once you know him. Besides, I'm sure you two would get along swimmingly considering both your personality types." Moka said as she opened up the book
"Now if you don't mind. I have some Russian to study up on." Moka told her Inner self as she spent the rest of her day between furthering her learning of the Russian language and studying over medical terms and anatomy
(The next day later, November 6th, 2016, 1:45 Pm, Yokai Academy)
It was the next day at Yokai Academy as Adrian was sitting outside enjoying the partly cloudy day to himself, as he mainly looked over the flyer for school clubs coming up next week, which meant that he'd have to be on guard for Gin and his shenanigans.
'Well, looks like I'll have to be on my A-Game again Gin. Because I might be strong, but even I know that squaring up against a werewolf in a head to head fight is damn near impossible.' Adrian thought to himself in knowing that fighting Gin head to head would be suicide
"In any case I might as well use up a Gacha Token and see what they're all about." Adrian said under his breath as he decided to use up a

'Huh, well at least I got me a dope monster to help me out when I face up against the really big stuff.' Adrian thought to himself in knowing he was gonna need help against his future enemies
"Hey, Adrian!" Kurumu said as she came over to the pyromancer
"Hi Kurumu, what's going on with ya?" Adrian questioned as he found himself getting wrapped up in a hug from the busty succubus
"I'm doing great since I get to see you." Kurumu said as she landed herself right on Adrian's lap
"So whatcha doing?" Kurumu asked as to what he was looking at
"Oh not much, just some stuff for the clubs that are gonna be opening up next week. I was thinking of joining some." Adrian answered back in having a good idea of some clubs he planned on joining
"What clubs are you gonna be joining?" Kurumu asked
"I'm thinking of joining the Newspaper Club and the Martial Arts club." Adrian answered back which had Kurumu be a bit surprised at him wanting to join the Martial Arts club
"I never would've guessed you would want to join the Martial Arts club. I mean no offense, but I didn't think you knew how to fight...minus what you can do with your spells." Kurumu spoke in never thinking that she'd see Adrian join the Martial Arts club of all things
"Well, I actually do know how to fight. Granted I'm not up there with Mike Tyson or Joe Louis. But I'm still decent in a scrape." Adrian said in knowing he wasn't anywhere close to the greats, but he was still decent nonetheless in his opinion
"Any reason why you want to join?" Kurumu asked in wanting to know the reason behind why the pyromancer wanted to join said club
"It just seems like a lot of fun really. Because squarin' up against some people and just having a good ol' fashion time throwin' hands against each other. That seems like a pretty fun time to me all things considered." Adrian answered back in wanting to join the Martial Arts club for that simple purpose
Adrian did want to join the Martial Arts club for the desire of wanting to have a good challenge and fun time just beating the living hell out of people and seeing what other people who dedicated themselves to close combat could do. Not only did he want to do this for wanting to simply have a good time via beating the living shit out of people with his own two hands, but he also saw it as a great way to improve his Martial Artist class and allow him to refine his own technique and become more adept in dealing with people at close range.
"Well, good for you that you're gonna join them." Kurumu said before continuing
"Anyways, I was wondering if you wanted to join the Swimming Club with me?" Kurumu asked as Adrian gave it a brief moment of consideration
"Don't get me wrong Kurumu. Seeing you in a bikini and all...that's..that's a pretty great idea. However, I don't think it would be a good idea if I joined you in the Swimming Club." Adrian replied as the idea of joining said club to see Kurumu in a bikini was very tempting but he knew that it wouldn't be a good idea
"Oh come on, Adrian. Why not, I mean don't you wanna see me in a rockin' swimsuit?" Kurumu questioned a bit down that Adrian didn't want to join with her
"Again, its not that I don't want to. But its more of that I can't for your own safety. Because I have fire powers and I'd rather not jump in and start swimming around with you. Only for the swimming pool to start getting super hot and the next thing I know you and everyone in a pretty decent radius of me starts getting boiled alive." Adrian told her as he'd rather not jump in and his power over fire start superheating the pool to the point it starts boiling everyone and more importantly Kurumu within it like their a bunch of lobster
"...Well shit, there goes my plans. I guess that means I can still join the Newspaper Club with you." Kurumu said cursing that her plans to start seducing Adrian via some sexy swimsuits were down the drain
"Sorry about that. Trust me no one's more disappointed about it than I am. Since you in a bikini is something I'd very much like to see happen." Adrian said in being equally disappointed at the fact that he wouldn't be able to see Kurumu rock a swimsuit but he didn't want to risk his fire powers getting out of hand and boiling her like a lobster
"Still if we're gonna join the Newspaper Club together. I think that we should be careful around the guy who runs it..Ginei Morioka." Adrian warned the succubus concerning about the lecherous werewolf who he didn't trust as far as he could throw the son of a bitch
"Oh yea, I've heard rumors about him being this creepy pervert. I don't know how far it goes, but every girl I've asked about him tells me the same thing." Kurumu replied in having heard rumors about the werewolf and such was gonna stay a good distance away from him
"Good, good, good. Because if he ever fucked around and did anything to you or Moka...I'm pretty sure I'd utterly lose my shit." Adrian said in knowing that if Ginei did anything to either one of them that his rage would be unleashed in its full totality
Because one thing that the pyromancer wouldn't tolerate without question is anyone going near or harming what he considered his, because anything that dared to harm or even take what he considered his would be met with aggression whether it'd be him ruining their reputation or him tearing them asunder with every ounce of deadly force he had at his disposal.
"Don't worry Adrian, I'm sure everything will be fine." Kurumu assured the pyromancer
"..I'll take your word for it, Kurumu. Anyways, enough about that. You wanna go out and enjoy the nice day we've got going on?" Adrian asked Kurumu as he got up from his seat
"I'd love that." Kurumu said as she soon accompanied him on a rather peaceful walk around campus
(5 hours later, Yokai Academy, 6:08 Pm)
It was around a few hours later within the headquarters of the Public Security Committee, as Keito was being summoned by her leader Kuyo to discuss one student in particular that had gained his attention.
"You wanted to see me Kuyo?" Keito questioned as she soon locked eyes with her leader
"Yes, as you may know one of the students here has been making a lot of noise around here. One by the name of Adrian Taylor." Kuyo answered back in concerning the pyromancer
"Him, besides you. He's the only other student here that shows a talent for control over fire. Perhaps skilled enough to possibly rival your own." Keito spoke in having seen and heard of how Adrian wielded a devastating control over fire
"As much as I don't want to admit to such things. You do raise a point. His prowess over controlling flame and fire is enough to be equal to myself. Among his rather rapid jumps in power that you would have to live under a rock to not notice. That he is becoming extremely powerful, enough that its possible for him to even contend with and even kill S-Class monsters given enough time." Kuyo responded as he held his own powers as a kitsune in high regard that next to no one could stop him but even he had to acknowledge Adrian's own power
"Then how do you wish to deal with him? Say the word and Deshiko and I will capture and terminate him." Keito questioned as all Kuyo had to do was give the order and she along with her other cohorts in the committee would go after Adrian in an instant
"No. I do not want him killed, Keito. To simply exterminate someone with such power and capability to rise so quickly in power, would be such a waste. Which is why I don't want him killed whatsoever, as I want the order carried out that Adrian Taylor isn't to be harmed." Kuyo told her as he wasn't going to simply kill off the pyromancer who had such promise to be something truly great
"As you wish. But what is it that you do have planned concerning him?" Keito replied in making note to spread the word that no harm was to be done to the pyromancer
"Simple. I plan on having him join our side." Kuyo told the spider woman which caused understandable surprise to creep across her features
"Not to question your judgement on this. But are you sure that is a wise idea? He has gained a reputation for having a volatile temper. Such a thing wouldn't do well for our group." Keito said in being weary of someone who had Adrian's capabilities but with an explosive temper attached to it
"On the contrary I think it would work rather well in our favor. Granted his rage and anger are quite dangerous when provoked, but so far its served to make a lot of the messes we would've had to deal with, far easier to manage. Thanks to him we no longer have to deal with that bothersome orc, who was nothing but arrogant trash. That disgusting half-breed of a witch who grated on my every nerve with her antics." Kuyo listed off with examples to name a few of how Adrian's had actually helped them out
"Not to mention he's already helped strike a blow to Kaneshiro's little group of abominations, by taking out two of their members in such a short period of time. Something I'll have to personally thank him for once I get the opportunity. In any case, Taylor's wrath has only served us well in the end. Which is why I see nothing wrong with recruiting him to our cause." Kuyo spoke in personally wanting to thank the Gamer for killing two of those abominations under Kaneshiro and his band of abominations
"If you wish to recruit him onto the Security Committee. Then why am I here for this?" Keito inquired as to why she was summoned if that were the case
"Simple. In order to do this, we'll need to have a way to get our hooks into him and keep him on our side. Which is why I'm giving you the task of not only recruiting him. But also doing what you can to seduce him and make sure that he stays on our side. Such an asset can't be allowed ro go around unless it's on the side of justice." Kuyo replied which caused Keito to be taken aback by this mission given to her
"While...While I am honored that your giving me this important task. Why am I being sent to do this? Wouldn't Deshiko be just as good for this mission, given her..enthusiasm." Keito questioned as to why she was being chosen for this mission when their were others just as suitable
"Because Keito, you are our best bet for this too work. Given that the students here at Yokai see you as one of the most attractive women here. It only stands to reason to use you for this mission to seduce Adrian, as he may be a powerful wielder of fire and other such tricks. But from what has been gathered he is more enslaved to his passions. Therefore you've been chosen as our best bet." Kuyo explained as to why she was being chosen for this mission to recruit and seduce him
Kuyo knew full well that Keito was seen as one of the most attractive women here at Yokai, in having seen that despite her position within the Safety Committee that many of the male students still lusted over like a bunch of horny dogs in heat. Hence why he specifically chose Keito for this mission in knowing that with her loyalty to his cause and her beauty that she would be perfect for the job of seducing Adrian and making sure that the pyromancer would join and stay on their side.
"I would not select you for this mission if I didn't think you would be able to carry it out, and do so with full success." Kuyo added in knowing that Keito would do well in terms of this mission being a full success
"Then it shall be done. I will not fail in making sure that Taylor is brought to our side, Kuyo. You have my word." Keito replied as she would do this mission to the best of her ability if Kuyo himself had chosen her personally to carry this out
"Excellent to hear, Keito. Now then prepare yourself and do whatever it takes to make sure he comes to and stay on our side. For its paramount that he comes to and stays on our side no matter what." Kuyo ordered as Keito bowed before exiting the dungeon-like headquarters
'Adrian Taylor. You of all people are a peculiar case, that I am curious to see how much you are truly capable of. Once your on my side of course. Then true order can really reign upon Yokai Academy' Kuyo thought to himself in knowing that with Adrian at his side the Public Safety Committee would be nigh-unstoppable
Unknown to the 4-tailed kitsune one of the spider-like drones that Adrian had built had recorded was live-streaming the entire conversation between him and Keito to the pyromancer, who had been watching the conversation with vested interest.
"So...he wants me to join up with him. Well, this could be interesting and add too it that I get sexy spider-woman as the icing on the cake. Alright, Kuyo...I'll play along. Because this sounds like it could be all sorts of fun." Adrian said to himself in being very much interested to see where this whole thing could go
"First I get rid of Ginei and take over the Newspaper Club. Then I infiltrate your little committee and before I know it, I'll be able to have this school under my thumb in no time. Because there's no way in hell I'm playing 2nd fiddle to Kuyo of all people." Adrian added as he'd play along with Kuyo, but the first chance he got, he would kill the kitsune and take over from there
So with Mizore having made her debut into the story and Adrian looking to join some clubs in the days to come, we now see that Kuyo has his sights set on Adrian and wants him onto his side to help in ruling over Yokai Academy. How will things fair once Adrian gets involved in both ends of Kuyo's side and his own plans for things? Find out all of that in more in the new chapters of A Gamer among Monsters.
That being said let's get down to some of the reviews from the last chapter now shall we.
Soulbow109: Yeah the thing is considering how they are so fanatic over them that in their mind if they took out Adrian, then their having a shot with their sacred goddesses would be assured without fail. Hence why they rather foolishly took the chance to try and take out Adrian. Also, I fixed that scene your talking about so it'll make more sense. Furthermore you are right that there are a good number of moments that happen off-screen between Kurumu, Moka and Adrian. Considering that I can't write every little thing that happens between them seeing as how it'd more or less bog down the story. Also, Issei sadly is gonna be a casualty when Adrian is gonna go to DXD since its nothing really personal against Issei but he has to get rid of the competition.
NazgulBelserion: Well, we only have about 2-4 more chapters of Yokai Academy before I do a mini-arc of Adrian's winter break and then onto stuff with the Harry Potter universe. Also, Outer Moka will go through a personality shift after Adrian's 1st year at Yokai Academy comes to a close.
jenes-db: Hey it was just too hilarious for me not to have as a title.
demzerff1: Yeah its gonna be real fun with how I handle Adrian dealing with the daughter of the spider woman. Also, I do like the idea you've got about Adrian learning to compress the power of his spells since that does give me something he can do for when he goes to the world of Harry Potter when he isn't trying to do a takeover as future Minister of Magic and dark lord to be. Since stuff like that will really help in his future upon all of the other ways he'll be trying to experiment with his magic.
Lq840i: Yeah it always bothered me too how a witch who mind you hasn't even hit puberty or when you think about it talks a big game but doesn't know shit about anything sexual, was more perverted than an actual succubus. Which further frustrated me about her character and hence another reason why she got the axe. Also, I love the idea you have for when he maxes out his Martial Artist class. Anymore you'd can come up with would be appreciated as there's not much I can think of in terms of new skills and abilities when in relation to the class so any help is very much appreciated. He will be learning stuff such as alchemy and warding when he gets to the Harry Potter universe as that's where he'll be expanding his magical arsenal so to speak. Although I do have an idea of Ruby becoming something of his assistant when it comes to some of that.
John50: Let's see some of the other worlds I do want to have him go to are the following. Bleach, Naruto, Akame Ga Kill, RWBY, Marvel.
duskrider: Well, to be fair I did forget about Venom as I knew I was missing something. But yeah I also thought it would be dope to have him be a huge nerd about comic books and other such media as it gives him another layer besides being a homicidal pyromaniac. Also, glad you like the twist I've been putting on Outer Moka wanting to be a doctor.
TheOnlyKing: That's the thing about Adrian that I like tbh. Because granted he's rather easygoing and pretty chilled out most of the time in contrast to his main element. But one thing Adrian does like doing is getting rid of pests and moreso competition, since he likes to get his shit done and out of the way so he won't worry about it later. Other than that glad you enjoyed the chapter.
Austin: Yeah, Zhao really didn't think things through in the short time considering that his antics would've resulted in a nationwide crop shortage, their supplies of fish and other maritime goods being more or less sundered. Not to mention that since you killed said spirit other spirits affilated to it with ran and water would decide to fuck over the Fire nation by causing either droughts or devastating hurricanes and floods. Also, its thanks to your idea that I've started the process of rewatching Super Sentai and Kamen Rider again and oh man is all of that as dope as I remember it. Furthermore for all of Voldemort's being a dark lord the man really didn't think things through in the long-term, since that's another mark against him as a dark lord as he pretends to be this grandiose chess-master of a dark lord when in reality he's a short-sighted terrorist who can't kill a teenager. Because had his antics continued on them I'm pretty sure the Queen would've had all gloves come off and had the Royal armed forces, military, navy and special forces just start massacring left and right. Because I know for a fact that you just simply do not mess with the person who is essentially your landlord and can have you bombed and missile striked until she feels you've appropriately learned your lesson. Also, I'm gonna be saving lemons for later on down the line since lemons will become more apparent when I get to the Harry Potter universe. Not to mention that I want him to do the deed with Kurumu once he eventually gets to having Eromancy under his belt and some experience as well, because you only get one shot to impress a succubus in bed.
Well that takes care of all of that good stuff as I hoped y'all enjoyed what's gone on in the chapter. But without further delay, let's get down too it now shall we.
First up we've got one part Adrian's celebrating his having made a Cloaking Device which will come in handy later on down the line. Which goes into him meeting Mizore, something that I hoped you guys liked as I think I'm gonna have a good deal of fun messing with her character and all that good stuff.
Next up we've got a bit between Moka and Adrian, which I thought would be rather nice in doing more fleshing out of Moka's character besides her having just be the ditzy nice girl she is in canon. Because I thought that it would be real cool to have her be this extremely determined and hard-working young woman who is dedicated to what she wants.
Following that we've got a neat bit between Adrian and Kurumu going over what clubs they're gonna join together. Not much beyond that.
Lastly, we shift over to Kuyo giving the mission to Keito of recruiting/seducing Adrian onto the Security Committee and having him stay on their side. Which I thought would be dope to do considering that to me Kuyo who recognizes strength would see it as far more useful to recruit Adrian rather than just have him terminated on the spot.
All that being said please favorite, follow, review and share this story out as much as possible. And flames for the most part will be ignored because at the point you're mainly wasting mine and everyone's time. Other than that constructive criticism and ideas on how to improve things are welcome.
