(Chapter 16: Burning Consequences)
It was sometime later around Christmas time as Adrian was enjoying this time to himself in still being on guard for any monsters that would try and start shit by doing a home invasion, having made numerous attack and battle droids. Along with aerial surveillance drones to cover his ass while he slept, on top of using his skills as an Engineer to install some underground machine gun and missile turrets set to go off the moment an intruding monster tried to come and take vengeance on him for what he did during his summer of slaughter.
Besides, with some of the monetary gains he made from his various training sessions in the dungeon and the fact that his background in starting in Rosario Vampire had his parents be very much wealthy; he was able to come up with some decent gifts for Inner Moka. All in the form of books on various martial arts for her to practice from Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, Muay Thai and Karate and Southern Dragon Kung Fu; all of which he knew the vampire would greatly appreciate due to him having found out her love for martial arts.
(December 22nd, 2016, 8:40 Pm, Mihara, Japan)
It was 20 minutes till 9 at night as Adrian was walking around Mihara after having gotten the books he ordered as part of Inner Moka's Christmas presents, that was until he felt a heat signature coming for him.
'This should make for a halfway decent night. Besides, it'll be rather interesting to test out my Level 50 spells from being a White Mage.' Adrian thought to himself as he started using Misty Step to teleport across Mihara so that he could find a suitable battleground
With it being over the course of around 10 to 15 minutes of teleporting across Mihara until he found a suitable spot for his battle with his would be pursuer, all in the form of a run down parking lot where he confidently awaited his enemy.
"Alright time for me to see what I can do with Level 50 as a White Mage." Adrian said as he looked to see what new goodies he had to play

Description: Your command over white magic has grown to the point where you can reverse the age of a target. Perhaps restoring them to their prime given enough time.
"Looks like Restore Youth is gonna be a really good bargaining chip in the future. While Seraphim's Wrath is gonna make for a great heavy-hitter and Starfall for more group based encounters." Adrian said to himself in gauging the usefulness of his attacks

"Oh, how delightful." Adrian said as he saw his newest victim
"So your my newest victim. The name is Adrian Taylor, pleasure to meet you." Adrian introduced himself to the violet-haired, blue-eyed man of above average height who glared heavily at him
"So your the one who killed my wife, you bastard." The man responded with barely contained anger
"I'm sorry, but I've killed a butt-ton of people. I mean like enough to fill my own small graveyard by my own recollection. So you'll have to be more specific." Adrian said as he killed a lot of people so it was really hard to keep track of specific people
"A jorogumo you killed in July, my daughter Keito's mother that you incinerated. You rotten piece of shit!" The man snarled in anger as his eyes turned a dark azure blue
"Oh shit! You're Keito's pops..wow this is not how I expected meeting you. I mean don't get me wrong you've got every right to be pissed at me, considering how I deep-fried your wife. But I gotta ask...sorry what's your name?" Adrian questioned as to the name of the tsuchigumo
"Kenichi Fukunaga. The man who is gonna kill you and avenge his wife." Kenichi told him with utmost determination in his voice
"Well, Kenichi. I hate to be the one to burst your bubble, but you really don't have that good of a chance against me. Seeing as how I'm far stronger than what you could hope to be." Adrian responded with him seeing it in that his magic outstripped anything that Kenichi would bring to the table
"I figured as much. That's why I went to this witch and although it cost me an arm and a leg. It was well worth it to get the power I need to kill you." Kenichi responded as he began to transform
'Might as well see what I'm gonna be up against.' Adrian thought to himself as he used Observe on the transforming Tsuchigumo

"Is that even a question at this point." Adrian said to himself as he looked at Kenichi who had finished transforming into his monster form
"Also, holy shit you are ugly. At least when I killed your wife she didn't make me wanna vomit from sheer fugliness." Adrian remarked as he looked at the nearly 9 foot tall hulking spider person who was covered in coarse reddish-brown hair and had 6 meter long spider legs that could impale him
"My appearance doesn't matter. The only thing that does is that I take your head and avenge my wife!" Kenichi bellowed out his multiple compound navy blue eyes glaring a dagger
"More like joining her." Adrian retorted as he casted Cinder Blast on the charging Tsuchigumo
With Kenichi being caught by the shotgun blast that Adrian noticed that when it struck that the Tsuchigumo's eyes and body glowed red as he saw it partially absorb the fire damage from his spell although at a cost to his stamina, which had him immediately switch gears in deciding to switch to White Magic. Because of that he unleashed his Sunburst spell at him, a high powered burst of emerald colored sunlight further struck down and even further blinded by it as it seared away at his flesh and allowed for Adrian to find somewhere within the parking lot.
With it being once the Tsuchigumo regained his sense of sight that he then went back on the warpath to find where the pyromancer was, his multiple eyes scanning the area for where he could be while every hair on his body bristled for the slightest movement. Yet was once again blinded by Adrian unleashing a Sacred Light a mere 10 feet away from him, causing his large spider legs to whip about in a frenzy to try and gore Adrian and fail as it was only added upon as he fired off a Holy Malediction at the Tsuchigumo who recoiled from the beam of holy radiance.
Another Holy Malediction was cast once Kenichi had finished recoiling from the last one, the Tsuchigumo feeling himself almost caustically burned away by the holy magic unleashed upon him as his spider legs whipped around in a furious frenzy. With Adrian before he could teleport finding himself being stabbed in the leg and cut across the face causing blood to flow forth from the wounds and him grinding his teeth in pain, as Kenichi despite his blinded state was able to follow through with a hard punch to Adrian's face faster than he could evade.
Sending him sprawling about several feet away as following the sounds of Adrian skidding across the pavement and leapt upon him to smash his large ham-sized fist into Adrian's stomach multiple times, yet lucky for the Gamer he had managed to use Brace to withstand some of the damage before retaliating with a Counterstrike to his stomach. Which was immediately followed up by a Hammer Arm to his face that struck with so much brute force that it obliterated his mandibles and knocked out a good portion of his teeth, causing thick reddish-green ichor to burst from his mouth.
Adrian then quickly used Thunderwave twiceover to send him flying away from him before casting Vitality Drain on himself to restore the health he'd lost as Harlequin green tendrils of arcane energy erupted from the Gamer, and quickly lanced out and pierced into Kenichi's flesh. The tendrils of life-sapping energy pulsing and causing Adrian to glow with a deep emerald light as his wounds began to heal over, all the while his own flesh began to wither and decay with the span of little over a minute from the spell's duration.
"Holy shit, I feel a lot better." Adrian said glad that he recovered around all of his health
"Tell ya what, since I'm feeling generous cause its almost Christmas time. I'll make you a little offer. You piss off and go back to Keito and we can go about our separate ways. You don't and I fry you and I make sure your daughter comes to live with me and calls me daddy. How does that sound?" Adrian offered although his gesture was colored by fury and snark over having his shit kicked in
"The only offer I'll take is the one that ends up with my taking your head!" Kenichi snarled as he shot out a web like at Adrian
"Have it your way then." Adrian spoke as he used a Firebolt to burn away the web-line
After he did so Adrian decided enough was enough and that he might as well bring out the big guns and cast Starfire on the Tsuchigumo who found himself surprised as a beam of concentrated flame and light from the stars themselves came rocketing towards him. With him having tried to dodge out of the way from it but it came towards him far too fast for him to evade, the thin yet immensely potent beam of starlight and arcane fire came crashing into him with the force of an artillery shell as Adrian decided to say fuck it and no more Mr. Nice Guy.
With it being not even a full minute as Adrian watched that no matter what the large Tsuchigumo did to try and leap away from the immensely powerful beam of arcane fire and starlight that the Gamer would just readjust it to strike down at him once more. His attack rapidly burned away at Kenichi's monster form and not even a minute passed before he was reduced to his now severely burned human form, even then it wasn't long before what followed was him soon being turned into ashes under the immense power of the Starfire spell.
"That takes care of that. Had I not busted out the big guns when I did, I would've been in big trouble." Adrian said as he went about his business
You sure would have, as I told you that their would be people coming for your neck.
"I know but he actually did me a favor to be honest. Considering that thanks to his fuck up he left his only daughter homeless. Which means all I need to do in the meantime, is just play my cards right and she'll be living under me as my personal maid." Adrian said as hopefully with his plans to have Anti-Thesis and the Public Security Committee tear themselves apart that it would leave him Keito to be under his thumb
Hmmm...that'll be interesting to see how that turns out. Because now you've got me curious to see how your gonna pull that off.
"It's really easy for me to do. They are both enemies of each other. All I have to do is put pressure on both of them until they eventually self-destruct and go at each other's throats, like a pack of rabid beasts. Then once the dust settles, I'll be standing atop it all." Adrian responded as it was merely a thing of pitting them against each other until they both killed each other
All I can say to this is that it'll make for very great entertainment.
"Trust me you'll be entertained. But for now, I'm just focused on getting the hell home." Adrian said as he began his trek to his car in order to drive hom
(The next morning later, December 23rd, 2016, 9:48 Am)
It was the next morning as Inner Moka to her curiosity looked outside to see Adrian practicing with his magic, yet what caught her interest was the winds blowing around him; along with the on again off again smell of ozone and the arcane fire gathered in his hands that she saw him try to manipulate into lightning before it exploded back into fire.
"What are you doing?" Inner Moka asked inquisitive as to why Adrian had been blowing himself up
"Oh, good morning. Well, you just caught me in the middle of a pet project I've been working on." Adrian informed the silver-haired vampire
"Then explain. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Besides, setting yourself on fire or blowing yourself up to hell." Inner Moka questioned as to what he was trying to do
"Alright. I figured that sense I've pretty much gained a good handle on what I can do in terms of manipulating fire in its base form and being pretty good in using it to scorch people to hell. That I've already evolved to its other state in the power of magma and of an eruption. Which is why I've decided to start looking at things from the opposite spectrum." Adrian answered back as he gathered arcane fire in his hands again as the winds howled around him once more as he began converting it from flame into lightning once again
"That instead of going for the explosive power of magma and a volcanic eruption. That why not focus on evolving my mastery with it to create lightning." Adrian added as the winds continued to sharply whistle as in both hands he forced the arcane fire to turn into crackling electricity
"..Of all the things I'd see. You trying to create lightning from fire magic was not one of them. Truly you have a gift for the impossible." Inner Moka said in being legitimately impressed with Adrian's creativity and drive to do something such as that
"Here's the thing, its not impossible when you really begin to think about it. I mean lightning is just fire all the same. Except where as magma is explosive, chaotic and all-consuming, burning everything away until there's nothing left but a molten hellscape. Lightning on the other hand silent, immensely quick and precise to impale and electrocute what stands in its way. Or to better put it, lightning is fire's more silent and focused cousin." Adrian explained in difference when it came to use magic for magma and what it came to concerning lightning
Adrian did note a key difference when using the magic of his Volcanic Lord class and to a lesser extent his Pyromancer classes and trying to manipulate and convert his fire into lightning, was that with the former that he was able to use them to their full effect by just being as a chaotic as he wanted to be; allowing himself to just become pure chaos and incendiary mayhem. Meanwhile his conversion of flames into lightning and his manipulating of it while in this state had him remain focused and have to not act as chaotic, with the Gamer having to continuously having to pay attention to it and keep it in its state of pure lightning lest it violently backfire onto him.
"With all of the tricks you seem to pull out of nowhere, I don't know if I should be impressed with the variety of what your capable of or just fascinated that your capable of such things. All in the span of a few months." Inner Moka said in finding herself both impressed by Adrian's drive to grow stronger and so so at a startling rate and fascinated by his intelligence and his will to experiment and mess with his powers
"I wouldn't sell yourself short either. Considering your a vampire and essentially the apex predator of monsters, so I'm pretty sure that you could figure out how to do some dope stuff too. All you have to do is just go out and experiment and see what comes of it." Adrian told her in knowing that she was capable of doing great stuff as well, all she had to do was take the time to do some experimentation with her own powers
"You do make a great point. The only thing is I don't know where I would start." Inner Moka spoke as Adrian while listening to her kept a consistent focus on making sure that his lightning retained its form
"Well, think of what you can do with your own immense power. I mean the other you was all about learning about medicine and anatomy. So perhaps build off of that and use it to create some dope techniques or powers related to that." Adrian suggested as something she could do in terms of experimenting with her own powers in that aspect
"That isn't a bad idea now that you mention it. Not to mention it would let me do some ideas I've had from all of studying on those subjects." Inner Moka said in having garnered some ideas from Moka's continuous study of anatomy, medicine and overall biology that she could use to create techniques of her own design
"That's the spirit! Also if you ever want to workshop any moves or abilities you wish to come up with. Feel free to just say somethin' and we can get started on it in no time." Adrian replied in being totally for helping the silver-haired vampire come up with and experiment with her power to become far deadlier
"I will take you up and that offer. By the by, we're still on for what was planned tonight?" Inner Moka questioned as Adrian took a moment to let the lightning disperse so he could turn his full attention towards her
"Of course, I mean why wouldn't we. Unless you can't handle it?" Adrian replied with playful snarkiness in his voice
"I can more than take care of myself. Besides, shouldn't you watch yourself since one serious punch from anything and you'll be knocked down in a minute." Inner Moka retorted with the same level of playful sarcasm in her voice before heading inside
"Tonight's gonna be real fun. Also, I wonder once I practice enough with this that I can start making tornadoes and my own personal thunderstorms..Ah, that'd be super dope!" Adrian said as a broad smile came to his face over him being able to one day create tornadoes and lightning storms of mass destruction
'Yeah..yeah let's make all of that happen. Because dropping one on Dumbledore's stupid head would be awesome.' Adrian thought to himself while envisioning Dumbledore getting shredded and swallowed up by a tornado
(12 hours later, 10:08 Pm, Mihara, Japan)
It was soon night time as Adrian had driven himself and Inner Moka to the base of one of the Fairy Tale Subdivision Leaders both of whom had relocated their bases, with this one being in Mihara of all places.
"Alright. So are ya ready to make our appearance?" Adrian questioned Inner Moka as he began casting Delayed Blast Fireball
"I've been waiting for something else other than us training together. So let's get to it." Inner Moka eagerly answered back as she was more than ready to get started
"Well, here goes nothin'." Adrian spoke as he sent the golden bead of compressed arcane fire outwards
With it not taking long before the bead of golden flames soon reached the base some 350 feet away as the guards wondering what the hell was going on decided to try and gingerly poke at the bead of golden flame that hovered in the air. Only for it to detonate on Adrian's mental command and into a cacophonous explosion that flash incinerated anyone caught within it before the explosion itself shattered the walls and further caused the flames to spread and seriously burn anyone who couldn't escape the highly potent fireball going off.
That in mind the two sprang into action in rushing into the now on fire Fairy Tale base that had many springing into action wondering what the fuck was going on, as Adrian while runnning decided to cast Firestorm to add onto the mayhem of things, when he was within the maximum range needed to cast it. Something the spell greatly succeeded in as in an instant a massive inferno burst into life engulfing everyone within the lime green flames, torching their flesh and melting their insides before they could even have a chance to transform into their monster forms.
Once they closed the distance Adrian manipulated all of the flames from his Firestorm spell to gather into a massive orb of flame and used it to separate and cast Scorching Ray, having the multiple rays of searing flame be fired off like a machine gun. All of which struck down the guards and cronies of the subdivision leader with impunity and within mere moments of it going on they were pretty much dead or burning from having been struck down or having a critical hit done to them from the attack.
"Huh, that did not go as I expected. Since I honestly thought they would've lasted longer." Adrian said looking over at the charred and heavily burned corpses
"You work incredibly fast." Inner Moka spoke in looking around to see the mass destruction while Adrian absorbed the flames into himself
"I guess that means you'll just have to keep up with me then." Adrian responded as he headed into the base in order to draw out the subdivision leader
"Challenge accepted, Taylor." Inner Moka thought as she darted into the base as a blur of motion
With Adrian having met up with a group of Fairy Tale members that were beginning to transform into their monster forms, but before he could unleash a spell to decimate them with a blur of motion beat him to the punch and within the span of mere moments the small group were reduced to bloodstains on the ground, walls and ceiling. The Gamer being impressed that Inner Moka had pretty much obliterated them faster than he could cast a spell to bombard them with holy magic or watch them go up in flames, as the silver-haired vampire looked at him with a smirk of 'I'm better than you' before continuing onwards.
Something the Gamer took with a look of challenge accepted before following after her as the two proceeded to wreak bloody havoc within the base of operations, with Adrian using his White Magic spells in tandem with pyromancy to either incinerate or bombard with holy magic. Meanwhile Inner Moka continued to zip around the area in full indulgence of her battle lust, in using her kicks to turn every unlucky person within her crosshairs into a bloody paste; which they only made worse when they tried to flee from her and she'd just straight out punch a hole in their chest cavity.
Between the two of them just straight up obliterating every minion within the base it became only a quickly apparent short matter of time, as nearly every member of the base they encountered was either incinerated or caustically burned by Adrian's pyromancy and or white magic; or turned into a bloody paste by Inner Moka. With the two of them traversing further and further until they soon reached the office of the Subdivision Leader that Inner Moka had proceeded to kick down, revealing them as a man of above average height, dark greenish-grey eyes, a thick head of golden blonde hair, a rather heavy set build that fit quite snug against his uniform along with a rather brutish expression.
"So you're the piece of shit that's been tearing through my forces." The Subdivision Leader spoke his eyes boring holes into the two of them
"Well, to be fair they were cannon fodder. So its not our fault they got crushed like ants, ain't that right Moka?" Adrian responded with a shrug
"They didn't know their place before a real vampire. Which is why it only made perfect sense to obliterate them. That and it feels good to have live target practice." Inner Moka responded with a vicious smirk stretched across her face
"I've heard all about you Akashiya. In fact if I recall about you, our leader really wants a piece of you. Which means if I kill your friend over here and capture you, then I'll get myself a huge promotion." The Subdivision Leader said with savage grin as he seemed to grow in size and his grin widening
"Who are you to dare think you could take me?" Inner Moka questioned
"I am Hiashi Miya…." Hiashi tried to say before Inner Moka had ran up to him from clear across the room and delivered a brutal bicycle kick to Hiashi that sent him flying
"Forgive me, but I do not care for the words of deadmen." Inner Moka spat at the arrogance he had to think he could capture her
"So that's what he is. Honestly, I expected a bit more from this guy." Adrian spoke as he saw him turn into quite large ushi-oni armed with a large kanabo that had a caustic violet glow around it
"Anyways, are you ready...and she's already started kicking the shit out of him." Adrian tried to say before realizing she began going at it with the half giant/half-ushi-oni
Inner Moka in the meanwhile continued to pour it onto Hiashi in going nearly nonstop with her attacks against the half-giant, who had to use all of his speed to just be able to register and react to her blows that came down with such power they began pushing him back. With Inner Moka grinning madly as she continued to hammer into him with punches and kicks that when they did hit left large bruises on the nearly 12 foot tall ushi-oni hybrid, who found enjoyment in letting herself just wail and dominate against her opponent.
With Hiashi's defense being broken when Adrian who had teleported a good distance away from the battle launched a Volcanic Meteor headed straight for Hiashi, with Inner Moka being quick enough to leap out of the way as the large mass of molten rock hit him center mass before exploding. Something of which left him subject to the silver-haired vampire coming down on his horned skull with a heeled drop kick, the force of which damn well shattered his teeth like glass and had him face plant and crater into the snow covered ground.
This was followed by her mule kicking his horned skull and sending him flying like he was soccer ball which had him get a point blank Holy Malediction from both of Adrian's hands, the twin beams of holy radiance blasting into him and causing him to bellow in immense pain. Then the ushi-oni/half-giant hybrid was once more sent flying by Adrian casting Thunderwave sending him spiraling 10 feet away from the Pyromancer, before being sent flying another good amount of distance away via a drop-kick from Inner Moka.
"Is it me or is this guy just not as challenging as you'd think? I mean with him being the leader of this place, you'd think he'd be a lot stronger." Adrian said in having thought Hiashi would be far stronger
"You have me at your side. So it would only stand to reason that this maggot would stand no chance against the two of us." Inner Moka reasoned at the fact that with their combined strength the subdivision leader wouldn't have a chance against them
"Fair point. Too bad he wasn't since I had planned to nuke this place by dropping some meteors on it." Adrian replied in disappointment that he wouldn't be able to use Meteor Swarm to nuke the place
"Wait a minute? You can summon meteors?!" Inner Moka questioned in understandable surprise that Adrian could just have meteors drop out of the sky
"Oh yeah. All I have to do is just snap my fingers and this place gets bombarded with meteors coming down on it. Right before they can even think to put up a defense. So as you can see I'm pretty disappointed that I wouldn't be able to pull off something so dope." Adrian answered back at the fact that he didn't get to use Meteor Swarm
"Just how strong even are you?" Inner Moka questioned at the sheer scale of strength that Adrian possessed at his disposal
"I'll answer that later, when we don't have a giant ushi-oni coming after us." Adrian answered back as Cinder Blast at the charging Ushi-Oni
While Hiashi was blinded by the shotgun-blast of cinder and ash, Inner Moka decided it was high time to get rid of the kanabo he possessed and decided to do so by rushing up to him and leaping forth to deliver an extremely powerful kick to his left arm. The power of it was enough to shred and tear the limb off at the upper bicep resulting in a shower of gore erupting from the limb, which was enough to cause him to bellow and roar in pain yet even still he refused to drop the Kanabo in remaining hand.
With the ushi-oni hybrid using all of his remaining strength to smash the Kanabo onto Inner Moka who blurred out of sight to easily evade the attack, before a brutal claw strike slashed out a sizable chunk of his abdomen that fell to the ground. Adrian followed up on this by using Misty Step and unleashing Hammer Arm onto Hiashi and had it come crashing into his face with enough force to dislocate his jaw, causing the Ushi-Oni despite spitting out blood and teeth to have him near comically look slack-jawed.
All of which was followed through by him thrusting out both hands and at point-blank casting his Flamethrower spell to unleash twin torrents of bright green flame to engulf and soon consume the ushi-oni hybrid in flames. With Hiashi roaring and bellowing out in pain as he felt his flesh be scorched and burned away, but even so he tried to go against Adrian as he raised his kanabo to try and strike him down despite feeling all of his body burn away.
With Inner Moka intercepting via a punch to the ribs that practically shattered them like glass and another barrage of kicks that broke or shattered the rest like glass, all of which came with such force that it put out the flames to reveal his heavily charred body. Hiashi being on his last legs and spitting out copious amounts of blood from both his dislocated jaw and shattered ribs, yet his pain was soon ended as Adrian jumped up and with both hands unleashed twin Hammer Arm attacks that went they crashed into Hiashi's skull caved it into a bloody pulp.
"That takes care of that hot mess." Adrian said while dusting himself off
"So what do we do now that the maggot has been put in his place?" Inner Moka wondered as to what they gonna do next
"Well, we can go grab something to eat. Because there should be a few places still open." Adrian suggested as it would be a good idea to get something to eat
"That sounds like a good idea. Granted they made for great exercise, but even still they've made me famished." Inner Moka said in agreement to getting something to eat
"Good. If we hurry we can run by McDonalds or somethin'." Adrian replied as they both headed back to his car in hopes of grabbing something to eat
(2 days later, December 25th, 2016, Adrian's House, 6:42 Pm)
It was the evening of Christmas Day as everything was going quite well considering that from what he'd heard from Kurumu who he sent more portraits of her, and Mizore greatly enjoying her comics and Inner Moka her books on various martial arts. Adrian on the other hand was content with how things currently were on his end.
"Well, its nice to see that everyone has enjoyed what they got for Christmas." Adrian thought to himself as he had to admit it was a pretty good day all in all
I'm surprised you didn't ask for anything for Christmas. Considering your flaw of avarice, you have.
"Here's the thing. While I do want to gain and acquire as much as I can, that really only concerns my gaining power and whatever else I desire. Other than that I can mostly just buy or take whatever I want. Not to mention that with my Engineer class nearly maxed out I can pretty much make myself whatever I want as well. So really I didn't see any reason as to why I should ask for anything on Christmas." Adrian reasoned that despite his having the Sin of Greed it only really applied to him desiring more power on the material side of things he didn't really want much as he could just make or create it himself
Fair enough point I suppose. However, even I recognize that for all of what you've done to provide a substantial amount of entertainment that you are deserving of some rewards.
"Thanks I suppose. What did you have in mind to give me exactly?" Adrian questioned the Game
Somethings that I feel will help you out along the way. So now you can never say I've done anything nice for you.
"Alright, well show me what you've been so kind to gift me?" Adrian asked the Game

For when you want to head-off to another universe without worrying your gonna miss something. Then this is just for you. Allows you to put a universe of yours on pause while you are at another one. Can be toggled on and off.
Trident Proficiency (Legendary)
Congratulations you've managed to become a master with the trident, being able to skewer and impale your opponents with ease. 160% increased damage when using a trident, 120% chance of causing a bleeding status effect.
"Well, this is interesting. Also, apparently I'm gonna be real damn good with trident. Any reason why you decided to make me an absolute badass with a trident?" Adrian questioned as to why the Game decided to give him such a extreme amount of skill with tridents that he felt being downloaded into his mind
Simple really. I figured that eventually there's going to come a time where you'll have to learn how to fight with a weapon and as such I figured that a trident would work well with you. Seeing as how no one would really see it coming when you gore them with a trident and due to people rarely training against such things. Would give you an edge. Besides, tridents are pretty cool all things considered.
"You do make a compelling point on that subject. Now all I need to do is get my hands on said trident and I'll be good to go." Adrian said in knowing that all he needed was a trident to actually work with and then he'd golden
Who knows you may have some luck with your dungeon delving. Anyways, I've done my part. By the way you may want to check on some perks you've gained considering that you've gained quite a few.
"Alright, might as well check to see some of what I've got." Adrian thought to himself in pulling up the perks he's gained from his stats
For reaching 500 Charisma you gain the Perfection give Form perk.
You're now supernaturally attractive to others. As such people become much more likely to become endeared to you as your aura has a charming effect on people.
Charisma Checks will nearly always pass.
Unparalleled Intellect
Class XP gained is now doubled
INT Checks will automatically pass.
For reaching 500 Strength you gain the Titan's Strength perk.
All Physical Damage is increased by 60%
Intimidation Checks will always succeed on those who have a lower amount of Strength than you.
For having reached 500 Constitution you gain the Orge's Vitality Perk.
HP and SP regeneration is now doubled.
For reaching 1,000 Wisdom you gain Grand Sage's Wisdom.
Profession and Party Bonus XP gains are greatly increased.
MP Regen has now doubled.
"Well holy shit am I feeling great about everything." Adrian said in feeling quite content with his perks he gained from his stats
So with that out of the way he decided to check up on how Inner Moka was doing as she was currently practicing katas and moves from some of the books on martial arts, specifically the ones on Muay Thai and Northern Shaolin Kung Fu in his backyard.
"Looks like someone is happy with all of her presents." Adrian spoke in seeing that Inner Moka had stopped mid kick to turn towards him
"These books you've given me are wonderful. Finally, I have a way to work on my kicks and actually get better at fighting." Inner Moka replied in being extremely happy about the books he gave her
"Glad you like them. Since I figured that with you loving all things related to martial arts and close combat. That some books and things on that would go great as presents." Adrian said in having noticed her affection go up to 74 thanks to his gifts
"They are greatly appreciated. Because I can finally get to work on becoming fantastic as a martial artist!" Inner Moka said in pure excitement of being able to improve as a close-quarters combatant
"If you wouldn't mind my asking. Why is it that you like martial arts so much?" Adrian questioned her as to why she loved martial arts so much
"That is an easy answer. Like my counterpart, I want to be defined as something else than just the daughter of a vampire lord. So where she wanted to become a doctor and medic to heal people and show she was different that way. I want to show I'm different by taking all of my physical speed and strength as a vampire and turn it towards becoming a great martial artist. Because I want to prove that I'm far more than just a great vampire. I want to prove that I am the strongest when it comes to martial arts, and that I am the deadliest and strongest of all monsters." Inner Moka answered back as to why she was so passionate about martial arts
With Moka's inner vampire being so passionate about martial arts because she saw it as the greatest way to separate herself from other vampires and especially within her own 'family', because in her mind if she became so proficient and so deadly with martial arts and close-quarters combat. Then no one and she meant no one, not even her father, her wretched stepmother or even that nightmare of a woman Akua who stand in her way and would have to bow and accept that she was the most powerful of all S-Class monsters as it stood.
"That's quite the goal you've set yourself up for. Something that you look like you can accomplish no doubt with just how outrageously strong and stupid fast you are." Adrian spoke in knowing full well that she had a clear advantage due to her being so wickedly physically capable
"Thank you. However, just my having extraordinary physical might at my disposal won't cut it. Because even with all of that, it just isn't enough. Which is why I've also been working on a few techniques that should help me define my own style of fighting." Inner Moka replied in knowing full well that it wasn't simply enough to be a physically superior opponent
"Really? What have you come up with so far?" Adrian asked the vampire
"Well, I've only been able to come up with one technique so far. It's not much, but its a start on what I wish to do." Inner Moka told him before continuing
"Too simply put. I concentrate my power into one of my kicks and rather than it simply breaking bones and bruising their flesh as an attack normally would. Instead I have all of my physical might and demonic power focused into dealing damage internally. Having it instead crush their insides and violently distort their internal organs. Its still a work in progress, but ultimately it should prove to be a truly devastating technique." Inner Moka explained the basis for one of the techniques she was working on creating that would have her deal internal damage to an opponent rather than external so as to put her on a higher footing than her enemies
"That sounds rather impressive to be honest." Adrian said in thinking that it was a pretty dope concept for a technique
"It most certainly is. Although the main trouble I have is making sure that once I deliver the attack to an enemy. That my own energies and the physical force along with it, stay concentrated into the point of impact." Inner Moka replied in having found that the most difficult part was keeping all the force of her kicks contained until they struck at the point of impact to deal the damage internally
"Well, I'm sure I can work on building some training dummies for you to develop and refine that technique." Adrian offered as it wouldn't take him any real time whatsoever to build some training droids to help in that regard
"I would extremely appreciate you doing this for me. Because I know if I can get to work on perfecting that technique. Then the development of my own fighting style can really start to take shape." Inner Moka replied in being thankful of Adrian's willingness to do that for her
"Its no problem for me at all. The only thing that I will have to do is make adjustments on them quite regularly to account for how powerful your kicks are. Other than that, I should be able to have some built for you in about a day or two." Adrian told her as it wouldn't really take him that long to build some training droids for her
"Thank you Adrian." Inner Moka replied happy that she would have training dummies in order to perfect her martial technique
"No problem. Anyways, our pizza I ordered should be here any minute. I ordered meat lovers for me and a Pepperoni and Pineapple for you." Adrian told her as he heard a ring at the doorbell
"Yes! If there was ever a favorite type of pizza I and my other self had it was pepperoni and pineapple." Inner Moka said as she headed inside to get some pizza
'Why she likes pineapple on pizza is beyond me.' Adrian thought to himself in not understanding how she liked pineapple on her pizza
So with Inner Moka and Adrian having defeated the first of the 2 Subdivision Leaders within his area, as well as him gifting Inner Moka with her Christmas presents and her passion for martial arts explained. It looks as though the spirit of Christmas is truly with Adrian. But how will things proceed from here? Find out next time in the all new chapters of A Gamer among Monsters.
Now then onto some of the reviews from the last chapter.
Setokayba2n: Well, hope you enjoyed all of what Adrian's gained for his stats being as high as they are. Also, since Adrian doesn't have multi-form he can't really divide up his time between everyone. Meaning that he's relegated to doing Skype calls with everyone. Well, I understand that she's one of your favorite characters but considering what she did within the story and that I don't really care for her. Her shelf life within the story was gonna be relatively short.
Ryan Way: His summons will start coming into play once he goes into the Harry Potter universe. Seeing as how that's where he'll get to make a good deal of use of them.
Yinko: You do raise a good point. Since with how many people die or are maimed at Yokai Academy, its a real surprise how the graduating class is still in one piece. Which does beg the question of how in the hell no one has raised the question of why do we keep sending people here if they just keep dying one after the other?
Lq840i: Yeah Adrian did agree to it since its like it'll happen sooner or later, so I might as well roll with it. Plus Adrian will be working on his Martial Artist class overtime as he still knows that while his arcane power is extremely potent that it wouldn't kill him to shore up his close combat skills as well. Plus ya can't really blame Kurumu for how she feels concerning her mother, as both are on opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to their succubi nature. Also Adrian will be getting more powers that focus on single targets and what not, but at this point in time he's more or less focused on mass destruction and AOE's so that his enemies chances of running away are reduced to slim to none. Also, he will eventually get to fixing the Yuki-Onna fertility problem in due time.
CyberDragon-EX: I already have it set up to where I'm gonna drop him in terms of the story in being a few months before the 4th year starts, considering that its the perfect place to start changing things up. Not to mention that its also in the story where its good enough to where he can start setting himself up for more and more power to be had in said universe. Also your evil-MC idea does sound pretty good although how would that whole magical apartment thing work considering that is it a pocket dimension thing or its own separate demiplane for her to live in, as not to nitpick at it but I'd like to know the logistics of that tbh.
AvidReader2425: First off thanks for talking with me during everything, as you've been a really big help for helping me to better plan out the Harry Potter world when Adrian gets to it. So many thanks to you on that my good dude. Plus I'm glad you liked that little twist I added to Inner Moka's character as I thought it would be a neat little change. Plus I already have a little something in the works for his Volcanic Lord class that's similar to what your getting at once he hits level 30/40 of it. Also, I'm already working on a way to get rid of Ron as out of everyone he's really one of my least favorite characters next to Crabbe and Goyle as well as Peter Pettigrew. Plus I will consider going to Avatar the last Airbender as a possible universe.
Soulbow109: Trust me man that's the 1st thing that came to mind when thinking of Agaeha, because even too this day I wonder what the triple fuck were they thinking when making that a thing. Plus I thought it would be rather nice to have their be a bit of gap moe with Inner Moka, as it would fit her character when you think about it seeing as how she never gets to be her own person in a physical manner. Eventually Inner Moka will get more dope equipment and possibly get around to getting Akasha's armor and such. Yeah the thing about Outer Moka in this iteration is that she's not really the romantic type and mainly is just one of those people that cares for everyone in a platonic sense and not much else besides that. Plus Adrian has mentally prepared himself since he did know that it was gonna happen sooner or later concerning Mizore and what her race is, so he figures that there's no point in making a big fuss out of it and just roll with the punches. Plus Tsurara being against it is something I don't see considering that Adrian did save her daughter from getting tentacle raped, so if anything she'd be indebted to Adrian for what he did. Not to mention my making Mizore was a geek was something I had planned so as to give her a needed boost of depth that we don't really get to see all too much in harem anime.
OechsnerC: I agree that a Hoverbike would look pretty awesome: Also Mandolorian Jet-Packs for the win in that regard both in functionality and with how awesome they look.
TheCuriousGuest: Yeah last chapter was something that was definitely needed after what happened in chapter 14, plus with how both Moka's family are her wanting to stay with Adrian and get to know him was something I thought would be more favorable than staying with the Shuzen's. Plus glad you liked my making her a hug-monster as I personally just did it cause I thought it would be cute. Yeah as Mizore cosplaying as Black Cat is something that'll definitely happen and Outer Moka will definitely be ok with everything than the alternative of her incredibly jacked up family. Plus Adrian didn't really notice her being shocked over his being able to travel to other dimensions.
Austin: I'm still iffy on the whole adding the moms into the harem considering that it does turn into that whole paradox of if he knocks up both the mom and daughter that who is who in terms of a family tree...and I'd rather not deal with that clusterfuck. Yeah Inner Moka is a hug monster alright plus both Moka's being a fan of Avatar the Last Airbender is a neat little detail I thought I add as who wouldn't like the show tbh. I went back and watched both Dragon Knight and Ryuki and definitely could see the differences in personalities in both iterations, both are still enjoyable though with Ryuki being considerably better. Yeah I'm not really the biggest fan of Samurai or Megaforce especially since both of them have the worst mentors ever in Power Rangers history.
Well, I hoped you guys enjoyed this chapter and everything that went along with it. Now with that being said let's get down to it now shall we.
First up we've got the 1st of many in Adrian's actions coming back to bite him with Keito's father trying to kill Adrian to avenge his wife. Which I hoped y'all enjoy since this is gonna come into play once the 2nd half of the 1st part of the Rosario Vampire arc comes to a close.
Following that we've got Adrian getting to work on trying to create and sustain electricity so as to unlock Storm Magic, which I hoped you guys liked since it would only make sense for him to do so considering that why not go in the other direction in experimenting with his fire powers.
Next up we've got Adrian and Inner Moka just wrecking shit at one of the subdivision leader's hideouts. Since it was just a lot of fun writing Inner Moka and Adrian just cuttin' loose and fucking shit up.
Lastly we've got Adrian getting his Christmas gifts from the Game, as well as talking with Inner Moka about her developing her own martial arts style and why she's so passionate about becoming a martial artist in general.
All that being said please favorite, follow, review and share this story out as much as possible. And flames for the most part will be ignored because at the point you're mainly wasting mine and everyone's time. Other than that constructive criticism and ideas on how to improve things are welcome.
