(Chapter 20: Time for an Interview)
It would be the beginning of August as Adrian who had become properly acclimated to his home had decided to get back to training, with him doing dungeon delving in the Celestial Dungeon once more and as such had leveled up Volcanic Lord to level 26. The pyromancer having nearly forgotten the joys that came with tearing into things with his power over fire and magma, his heart being filled with a malevolent sort of glee in watching everything burn and melt into nothingness.
During this time period besides both spending time with Jack who'd started growing on him and his practicing more and more with trying to unlock Storm Magic through the constant compression and condensing of his flames into electricity and the howling winds that came with it. He found himself having gotten a requested interview from Rita Skeeter of all people from having heard of his curing the Longbottom's of their insanity, after some of what Dumbledore's personal best after over a decade had failed to do.
(August 1st, 2013, Celestial Dungeon, 1:45 Pm)
It was a quarter till 2 as Adrian was within the Celestial Dungeon surrounded by the torched corpses of all the creatures within, with a broad smile across his face at the smell of ash and charred flesh was heavy in the air around him.
"Ohhh...how I've missed torching stuff. I swear this is just what the doctor ordered." Adrian said feeling absolute ecstatic as he was surrounded by charred bodies and scorched earth
"The only thing that would make this better is if I had some jams to help keep this going...oh wait. I do have some." Adrian added as he put on his headphones and decided to play some Blind Guardian while he continued his incendiary rampage
So with Another Stranger Me playing in the background and a wide grin spread clear across his face at all of the destruction he had wrought thus far, Adrian continued to spread the destruction he loved to dole out to every living thing with an immense amount of joy. Said joy was spread clear across his face as his demeanor was one of immense happiness and an air of chipperness, as he took pride with each Wall of Fire or Basaltic Tide that incinerated the creatures within the dungeon outright and all the flame and fire that scorched the earth around him.
The land around him soon became a fiery hellscape where smoke and ash began to slowly block out the sunlight and the ground either ablaze from arcane fire or the ground and stonework being melted and scorched away by magma. All the while Adrian still had one of the biggest grins on his face as he continued to wreak havoc with the power of his Volcanic Lord class at his disposal, with not a single creature being an exception from the widespread destruction he wrought like a walking natural disaster.
With his cheery yet highly destructive walk through the Celestial Dungeon's 2nd layer continuing as he left a hellscape of magma, searing flame and death in his wake; he soon came across the next mini-boss of the dungeon. Which was none other than Utopia except this time said monster had been upgraded to his chaos form of Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray who stood proudly and at the ready to take vengeance against Adrian after he slaughtered him the last time.
"So we meet again. Looks like someone has gained an upgrade." Adrian spoke as he cracked his knuckles in being ready to go against the powered up Utopia
"Unlike the last time I've obtained enough power too..." Utopia Ray tried to say before Adrian snapped his fingers and cast Blasted Eruption
"I'm sorry don't wanna hear your monologue. I just wanna obliterate you to be honest." Adrian responded with a wide grin on his face before activating his cloaking device and going invisible
With Utopia Ray who was recovering from the sudden eruption of molten rock that tore into it and heavily scorched its armored form, it's eyes darted about looking for where the pyromancer had suddenly vanished too. That was until it had to use the power it gained from becoming a chaos number to empower himself so it could hold back the sudden tidal wave of magma that came crashing into it, with it slamming both of its now glowing broadswords against it to hold it back and even split it in twain.
Something that would've worked if not for the sudden bombardment of Scorching Rays came raining down as streaks of fiery emerald, that had it become overwhelmed from trying to fight off the Basaltic Tide while deflecting the rays of searing fire. The end result was the remaining rays of arcane fire colliding into the Chaos Number while also causing it to be engulfed in the tidal wave of magma that practically dwarfed its form, an incredibly potent wave of heat radiated from the epicenter searing everything in its wake for 30 feet of it .
Yet the punishment didn't even come close to stopping there as Adrian whom after Utopia Ray had arisen from the magma that covered it and ate away at its armored carapace had cast Cinder Storm right on top of it. The result was a blizzard of scorching-hot volcanic ash and cinder spiraling and swarming around to further burn and scorch at its armored carapace, with Utopia Ray having tried to fly away and out of the storm of volcanic cinder yet found that it couldn't no matter how much it tried.
With it looking down to see chains of radiant energy wrapping around it and forcing it down into the ground unable to get away from the swirling storm of volcanic cinder and ash, with Utopia Ray seeing very little ways of escaping this did what it saw necessary to escape. The Chaos Number used all of its strength to sever its wings and right arm which the majority of the chains were concentrated around, allowing it to use its great amount of strength to leap away from the Cinder Storm spell and landing in a scorched and heavily damaged heap.
'I'll definitely give it guts for that maneuver.' Adrian thought to himself in having to give credit where credit was due on Utopia Ray pulling such a gutsy move
"Come out you damnable coward! Are you such a dishonorable heathen that you'd dare not face me, face to face?!" Utopia Ray demanded as to where the invisible Pyromancer was
"Oh..so you think I'm a coward huh? Well, let's see how cowardly you think I am after this." Adrian spoke as he'd teleported a fair distance away before snapping his fingers
With the heavily beaten down Chaos Number soon looking up at the sky that had turned a bright lime green in color, something that was cause for it to look up and see why the sky had become such and upon doing so its eyes widened in utter shock. With it seeing a small arsenal's worth of moderately house-sized flaming meteors headed for it at breakneck speeds, the only thing that Utopia Ray could think to do in that instance was to try and destroy the meteors as it refused to retreat from the rapidly oncoming threat.
So with it raising its only sword in defiance had used all of its strength to leap into action against the Meteor Swarm spell that continued to rapidly descend upon it, with it soon putting every ounce of strength it had against the first meteor. At first it seemed that Utopia Ray was able to make some headway against the meteors as it's sword managed to crack some of the meteor, yet this thought of slicing through it was quickly squashed as the other meteors soon crashed on top of it and proceeded to smack the Chaos Number into the ground.
The Pyromancer watched with glee as the meteors had bombarded and exploded with great force, shredding the ground and scorching everything in sight like a ravenous plague that illuminated the area in bright Harlequin green light. Once the Meteor Swarm had ended he had saw that in its wake was a massive firefly crater that even in the epicenter not a single piece of Utopia Ray remained, as it had been utterly devastated by the spell to being simply crushed out of existence; so upon seeing that Adrian teleported back to the normal world in satisfaction of what he'd done.
"Alright, that fight put me at being a Level 31 for a Volcanic Lord. Let's see what the hell I've got for hitting that high." Adrian thought to himself as he went to see what new stuff he'd gain from reaching the 30's of his Volcanic Lord class
Obsidian Forest

Description: You point to a place within range to force a razor sharp forest made of volcanic glass to erupt. Causing it to viciously shred and impale anyone caught in the vicinity. All enemies within the 90 foot sphere must make a DEX saving throw against your INT. If they fail they take 35,800 Piercing damage, if they succeed they take half as much. In addition when they do fail they take (INT*5) Piercing damage over the next 3 minutes from razor sharp shards of obsidian grinding and falling to shred their flesh.
Pele's Outbreak

Description: You channel some of the fury of the Hawaiian goddess of volcanoes into this spell. With you concentrating the power of it and causing a chaotic mass of magma to erupt and shower your enemies with lava to punish them for daring to go against you. This spell deals 40,200 + (INT*10) Fire damage as the eruption of molten rock descends upon your enemies. Enemies must make a Constitution saving throw or take additional (CON+INT)* 5 Fire damage over the next minute.
Corrosive Eruption

Range: 140 feet
Type: Square
Description: You summon forth the power of a volcanic eruption to corrode and scorch your enemies. All enemies within range must make a Dexterity saving throw against your INT, as the ground beneath and around them violently cracks apart. As highly corrosive and extremely hot magma bursts forth to deal 42,000 Fire damage and 14,700+ (INT*4) Acid Damage. If they fail the Dexterity saving throw their movement speed is reduced by 85%.
'Holy shit do I love being a Volcanic Lord.' Adrian thought to himself with a broad grin as he soon felt someone tug on his pant leg
"Oh hey Jack. Is something the matter?" Adrian wondered as Jack looked up at him
"We want you to watch Power Ranger with us. The Dragonzord combined with the Megazord." Jack requested in wanting Adrian to continue watching Mighty Morphin Power Rangers with them
"No problem. Besides, I'm so glad I got you to watch Power Rangers with me." Adrian said in finding that to be one of his greatest achievements with Jack thus far
That being that he managed to pass on his love of Power Rangers down to the Assassin of Black who became very entertained as she watched the series with him, as the Gamer and killer loli were watching it from the start and currently where Tommy had recently overcome Rita's control over him.
"Hooray!" Jack cheered
"Also, can you give us hugs please?" Jack asked as Adrian picked up the killer loli and gave her a big hug
"Like I keep telling you Jack, I'm mainly happy to do anything you request of me...So long as its within reason." Adrian answered back as he proceeded to plop Jack on top of his shoulders and give her a piggyback ride
"Do you think you could make us a Power Ranger costume, like the people in the show? They look so cool." Jack wondered as the assassin was very much down for the idea of having her own Power Ranger costume
"Tell ya what. If you're a good girl and behave. Then I'll make you your very own Power Ranger costume for Halloween. How does that sound?" Adrian told her considering that if Jack behaved herself around his mansion then he'd be more than happy to make her, her own costume
"We'll be really good, we promise." Jack swore as she would have her own costume no matter what
"Great to hear. Now, let's go watch us some Power Rangers! I think the episode where the Dragonzord and Megazord combine is gonna come on" Adrian replied as he and the Assassin of Black went inside to watch said show
"...They can combine together?!" Jack asked as the idea of the two giant robots combining into one mega-robot sound awesome as all hell to her
"Trust me its gonna be real awesome when you see it." Adrian assured her as he flipped on the episode to watch
(3 days later, August 4th, 2013, 2:10 Pm, Taylor Residence)
It was a few days later as Adrian was in his house waiting for Rita Skeeter to arrive for his interview with her, as Adrian had Jack practicing with her newly fire magic imbued knives in the backyard.
"Master Adrian. Rita Skeeter is here for the interview." Nadrey informed Adrain who was playing Pokemon Ruby on a Nintendo DS
"Thank you Nadrey, I'll be right over to see her in just a minute...I just need to finish getting rid of Flannery's last Pokemon." Adrian replied as he had his Swampert use Muddy Water and kill her last Pokemon to gain his 4th Gym badge
After that was done and he saved his game he went to greet Rita Skeeter and take her to his living room where they could conduct their interview, with the Daily Prophet reporter being quite a bit surprised from seeing the man who was Lord Ravenclaw. A pureblood descendant of one of the founders of Hogwarts whom she expected to look and act like many of the other nobles in Britain, yet instead of that he mainly looked like a regular guy as he wore blue jean shorts, a Power Rangers t-shirt with the Dragonzord on it and some sandals and a Green Lantern ball-cap atop his head.
"For all our readers out there I must say that it is a pleasure to meet you, Lord Ravenclaw. I mean its not everyday we get to interview a descendant to one of the founders of Hogwarts." Rita spoke as Adrian opened up a bottle of lemonade
"Well, I'm happy to do this. Also don't do that Lord bullshit, as your guest at my place and I'm not one of these uppity nobles. So just call me Adrian." Adrian replied as the whole lord thing wasn't really his speed as it felt rather weird to him
"Alright. So Adrian, I will say that you aren't what I or anyone would expect from someone who comes from a pureblood family and one that directly descends from Rowena Ravenclaw herself." Rita said as she looked over Adrian's attire
"How so, I mean granted I'm extremely strong. Other than that I'm just a guy who got real lucky to be livin' it up as I do now." Adrian spoke as he didn't see what the big deal was
"I'm talking about your attire. Considering that from what others have seen of you, you don't exactly dress or act like those from other noble houses would. Especially from those of your standing like House Malfoy or Black." Rita replied as she looked over Adrian's state of dress
"Don't see why I'd have to dress like them. I mean why the hell do I wanna wear some stuffy robes and act all like uptight dick for. Because I personally don't get how anyone wears those things, I mean especially when there's a breeze going down there. Besides, I feel far better wearing some shorts and t-shirt, which by the way feels a lot more comfortable if ya ask me." Adrian spoke as he'd rather wear what he normally did then wear any robes
"Cause I'd dare anyone of them to say somethin' that how I dress ain't comfortable as all get out. Since I'll wear what I damn well please as part of House Ravenclaw….But besides my fashion sense what else do you wanna talk about." Adrian added as if anyone had a problem with how he dressed they could say it right to his damn face
"Well, barring that. You've also done what was thought to be the impossible and cure the Longbottom's of their madness. Something that even those hired by Dumbledore said was impossible to do after nearly 4 years of trying. So how was it that you were able to do what they couldn't?" Rita questioned considering that what Adrian accomplished was a pretty big deal
"That was easy. I had something that his supposed best didn't. Since I can use holy magic and that's how I was able to cure them of their madness." Adrian answered back as he decided to show off a little by letting ethereal tendrils of white magic arc off his fingers
"Pretty handy I will say for healin' up wounds and other stuff like that." Adrian added as he began messing around with it and moulding it into geometric shapes which definitely put a look of surprise at Rita's face at the casual manipulation of raw magic
"Seems as though you are a man of many talents. Considering how hardly anyone if really anyone is trained in the ways of white magic. Even fewer to where they can accomplish what you've done." Rita spoke as the art of white magic was considered a nearly lost art of magic
"Especially with white magic being something that a lot of Light sided or light leaning families would be interested to have marry into their family." Rita added in knowing full well that a user of white magic would be something a lot of families would want married into their side
"What I teach currently isn't for sale. Don't get me wrong I'm up for a good time as any other guy would. However, I'm not up for marriage. I got so much I wanna do and me being tied down to anyone would put a wrench in that." Adrian spoke as he had a lot of plans he wanted to do and being tied down to some uppity broad who had nothing in common with him or couldn't keep up was not on his agenda
"I take it you aren't a big fan of political marriages?" Rita guessed as Adrian continued to manipulate the white magic in his hands into various geometric shapes
"Yes, a hard pass on that. Considering how I don't really care to be married to someone who for number 1 their heart isn't it. Not to mention that we'd have nothing in goddamn common to bond over. Besides, what the hell would I have to gain from marrying some broad in that regard? As well as the fact that I'd have one little stipulation that would make or break them." Adrian said with a broad smile on his face
"What would this stipulation be exactly? I'm sure our readers of the fairer sex would love to know?" Rita asked as to what was
"To simply put they'd have to last through a 5-7 month trial run of being with me. Before I consider sealing the deal. Which is gonna be hell for them, because if you haven't noticed. I'm a real big fan of muggle pop-culture and all that goes along with it." Adrian answered back as he gestured to his Power Rangers t-shirt
With Adrian knowing full well that a good deal of the pureblood families had a potent distaste for most things related to muggles, so considering how he had such a massive love for muggle pop-culture via his love of Power Rangers, comic book, manga and heavy metal music. That anyone who wanted to stay with him who was from a noble house or pureblooded traditionalist would be having the time of their lives be around Adrian for such an extended period of time, said time of which he would just as himself in all its chaotic glory.
"Because if they wanna do this then fine. However, I'm gonna make them work for it. Considering that I'm not gonna agree to any marriages or anything just so they can rob me blind in the end. I refuse to let that happen in any capacity." Adrian added as he wasn't gonna do any of these arranged marriages only so they could take everything out from under him, because if anyone was gonna do the taking it was gonna be him
"That's certainly something interesting to hear. Then again I take it that your one of those hopeless romantics that only marry for love?" Rita coyly asked as Adrian scoffed
"Don't get it twisted, Mrs. Skeeter. Would I like to marry some nice woman out there cause I love her, that would be nice don't get me wrong. However, I'm not some idiot that only marries for love. Since I'm still a young man and I don't feel like getting tied down to someone if my heart ain't in it. Because its gonna be no fun for me at all, if I have to be stuck with someone who we have no common ground with, is gonna shit on me for what I like and drain me for all I have while they contribute nothin'." Adrian spoke as he didn't really like the idea of being tied down to someone especially if they were gonna be all uppity cause their a pureblood, shit on him for what he likes and just be a goddamn parasite to boost their reputation in the end
"After all, if I ever have to agree to one of these marriages and that's a big if and when that happens. Then they better be able to contribute something worthwhile and bring something to the table that's of equal value to me and my house. Cause I will not be disrespected by someone who gives and brings anything less than what I can do for them. I just..just simply won't have it." Adrian added as he wasn't gonna put up with someone who couldn't bring anything substantial to the table in a supposed arranged marriage as he looked for substance over style so to speak in relationships of that nature
"It certainly seems as though you have quite high standards. Then again from someone who descends from such a powerful bloodline. One that's been a most noble and ancient house for centuries, its to be expected. Which is going to most certainly make the number of potential suitors slimmed down." Rita spoke as she found it only made sense for someone of Adrian's stature to have such high standards
"Of course I have standards that high, since I want people to bring their A-game if their with me. Also people can still try and send me marriage contracts to do all this. However, they're gonna have to make some really good cases on why I should consider doing anything with them." Adrian stated as he'd still take marriage contracts but they'd have to make some damn good cases on why he should consider them
"Well, you certainly are proving to make this quite an interesting interview. Is there anything that you would like to add, before I ask my next question?" Rita asked the Gamer onto anything he had to add
"Yes actually. Because I've done some digging around to find out what made this Voldemort guy so scary. Considering that we don't know dick about where he came from or even who he was. So after some much needed research and wandering around. I've found out that he isn't all that he's cracked up to be." Adrian answered back catching the reporter off-guard
"Please, Adrian tell the public of what you've found. I'm sure that they'd love to hear about this." Rita said very much gripped at this possible information
"Well as it turns out my findings have led to me finding out that Voldemort isn't who he says he is. If anything he's not even half of what he says he is." Adrian replied with a smug grin of how he was about to ruin the Dark Lord's reputation for good
That in mind Adrian began to tell Rita of how Voldemort was nothing more than the bastard child of one of the Gaunts who had cooked up a roided out love potion to douse some muggle girl with, and have his way with until she popped out dear ol' Tommy boy. With him making light of how Voldemort was nothing more than a quarter-blooded bastard child who without his prodigious talent, would've been nothing more than a squib that worked at St. Mungo's janitorial detail.
The Gamer had provided evidence of his claims after going through the wreckage of the Gaunt House and luckily finding an enchanted journal from Voldemort's supposed mother had seduced a rich muggle, before raping, torturing and constantly drugging him until she squeezed out Voldemort who she referred to as the greatest fuck-up of her life, due to her having to settle for something so close to a goddammned muggle in her entries and how she had to choke down her disgust of looking at the little shit. With her entries further detailing of how the best day was when she got rid of Voldemort at the muggle orphanage so she could continue to endulge in her promiscuous lifestyle, and further her constant rape and debauchery of other muggle and half-blood men who she'd pop out countless bastards in hopes of producing an heir only to live in disappointment as none were ever good enough; before she did away with the men she had her way with.
"There ya go. You-Know-Who is nothing more than a quarter-blooded charlatan. I mean it must really suck for all of his former followers out there when they read this. I mean to find out that the man who championed the supremacy of all purebloods, is just slightly and I mean slightly better than a squib. That has to be one hell of a kick to nuts if I say so myself." Adrian chuckled at the fact that Voldemort for all intents and purposes was nothing but a quarter-blooded bastard
"This is quite the revelation I must say. To think that You-Know-Who is barely anything greater than a squib, is nothing short of hilarious when truly begin to think about it. Especially for all of the former Death Eaters in Azkaban who must feel like fools to know they followed him." Rita said in finding it somewhat humorous to know that the man who championed the supremacy of purebloods was nothing more than a talented squib
"Oh I agree, so if anyone is reading this. Then I just gotta ask them this? How does it feel to know that the man you killed for and believed was your Christ figure. Is nothing more than a charlatan who played all of y'all. I imagine it certainly sucks." Adrian replied with a smug grin on his face in knowing that it had to suck utter shit to know who Voldemort really was
"I imagine those who used to follow him, would be enraged as well. Considering how they followed the Dark Lord to the ends of the earth thinking they'd rule the world. Only to now find out he wasn't only beaten by a toddler, but also that everything he'd built himself upon is a lie." Rita spoke knowing that those former followers would have to be enraged
"As they should be. Heck he wasn't even that great of a dark lord. Because the man didn't do anything smart to take over things, like Grindelwald before him had done. All he did was act like a glorified terrorist who just rampaged about like a child throwing a temper tantrum. I mean when you really look at it and I mean really look at it. He didn't act with the cunning or guile of a Slytherin, he acted with all the brashness and bravado of a foolheartedly Gryffindor. Then to add insult to injury had all of his followers go along with him to act like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off." Adrian brought up at the fact that Voldemort acted more like some foolhardy terrorist than an actual Dark Lord who acted more akin to a Gryffindor than anything
"That has to be one of the most spot-on depictions of the Dark Lord, when you do compare him to Grindelwald." Rita agreed in seeing that when you compared the two Voldemort utterly failed at acting like a Dark Lord would
"Glad you share my sentiments Mrs. Skeeter. Now then, is there anything else you'd like to ask me? Because you did say you had another question to ask me." Adrian asked if there was anything else the reporter had to ask of him during the interview
"To be quite honest with you, I had completely forgotten about it when you threw that curveball about the Dark Lord my way." Rita answered back in having forgotten what she was going to ask him
"Well, maybe you'll have that question the next time we do an interview." Adrian responded in being very much down for another interview with the reporter
"Hopefully so. However, I think that concludes my interview with you today. Thank you for your time Lord Ravenclaw." Rita thanked Adrian for the wonderful story that this was going to make
"It was no problem. If nothing else, have yourself a nice day." Adrian wished the reporter as she did a polite bow before heading out of his door
"Seeing as how I did so great with that interview. I think I should reward myself by seeing what this Eromancer class is all about." Adrian thought to himself as he decided that since the review went so swimmingly that he'd see what Eromancy was about

'This certainly changes things. Now, then time to do some practicing and testing of what this can do.' Adrian thought to himself as he felt that some trips to Hogsmeade would really make for some interesting results with Eromancer

It was nearly a week later as Adrian had after reading the article of which he was interviewed which turned out surprisingly well all things considered, the Gamer had decided to do some dungeon diving within the Demon Dungeon's 2nd layer and test out more of what he could do as a Level 80 something White Mage.
'Before I head out. Let's see what good stuff I've got from being so high up as a White Mage.' Adrian thought as he looked to see what new stuff he gained
Sunbeam

Guardian's Light

Description: You summon forth the healing energies and radiance of guardian angels from on high to knock back your enemies and heal your allies. You create a field of healing radiance that radiates from you for 20 feet that heals your allies for 10,200+ (INT*8) HP per 10 seconds. Enemies must make a Wisdom saving throw against your INT or be pushed back 30 feet and be stunned for 1 minute.
Celestial Regeneration
MP Cost: 30,000 per minute
Range: 15 feet

Description: You summon forth celestial light and fury in a similar vein to the fallen Lightbringer himself, Lucifer to punish your enemies with heavenly light. All enemies in a 40 foot in diameter sphere must make Constitution Saving throw against your INT. If they fail they take 32,400 +(INT*9) Radiant damage and take additional (INT+CHA)*4 Radiant damage over the next minute as they are furiously burned by celestial light.
"Ooohh Fury of the Lightbringer sounds dope as hell. Not to mention there's so much fucked up shit I can try with Celestial Regeneration. Plus I finally have a security measure for all of my shit." Adrian said to himself before he headed off into the Demon Dungeon's 2nd layer
That in mind he found himself transported within the dungeon's 2nd layer which took the form of a desert-like wasteland with navy and emerald sands covering the area as far as Adrian's eyes could see that stretched for miles. All the while a sky of dark indigo was overhead where a sun of deep royal violet was hidden behind thick clouds of sapphire and silver that swirled about, as thunder boomed overhead and howling winds that whipped the sand about in a frenzy causing large dunes of sand to kick about.
"Well, I might as well summon some backup while I'm here." Adrian spoke as he summoned Kuraz the Light Monarch who appeared beside him a column of lime green radiance
"How may I be of service to you, my master?" Kuraz questioned the Gamer with his voice a resonant baritone as his eyes locked onto Adrian
"Simple, Kuraz. I need your help in destroying the creatures of this area. Can you assist with that?" Adrian asked the Light Monarch
"Of course my master. I shall lend you my power to vanquish all of the creatures that dare oppose us." Kuraz answered back as Adrian grinned widely with the power of a Monarch at his disposal
"Excellent. Now let's get to monster slaying." Adrian said in excitement as he and said Monarch went about to carve a path of destruction
With it not being long before Adrian and the monarch that towered above him were soon assailed by undead and fiends that came after them, all of which ranged from monsters from DOOM: Eternal to Infernity Knight, Archfiend Soldier, Archfiend Cavalry, Feral Imp, Plague Wolf, Dark Assailants, Samurai Skull and Zombie Mammoths. All of which were quickly decimated by the duo of Adrian and Kuraz who proceeded to run a swath of radiant destruction against said creatures who stood no chance against them, between Adrian unleashing his White Magic spells in full fury much to his glee; while Kuraz using his great amount of strength and blasting the infernal and undead creatures with jets of shimmering golden radiance.
With the desert being lit up with multiple flashes of emerald and golden light as the two continued to destroy anything that got in their way, as Adrian was more than content to provide ranged support in blasting everything from a distance. All the while Kuraz battered and crushed all that got in his way via using his great strength to punch and slam into his enemies with the force of a great battering ram, or concentrating the radiant energy within himself to send forth great shockwaves of light energy to blast apart the undead and fiends.
This continued onwards with them pretty much sailing through their enemies as they delved further and further in the desert-like dungeon, intent on fighting the 1st mini-boss of the area and then promptly killing them with radiant fury. This continued onwards until they reached a section of the desert where the sands had turned black as pitch, gnarled trees that looked withered beyond recognition stood and turned more into a rocky beach like area where on the far side of it was none other than Dark Highlander.
"So you two are the ones who have traveled to the underworld. What reason you have to be here I do not know." Dark Highlander spoke its voice a morose monotone as it held out its large scythe
"Just wanna ask you this question? But you won't mind if we go right past ya, I mean it really seems like even you don't wanna be here." Adrian questioned in wondering if Dark Highlander would let them through to go and fight others
"Sadly I can not. For I am forced to act as a guardian for this wretched place. So against my own will I can not let you pass without fighting me." Dark Highlander answered back while holding its scythe out ready to attack them if they moved so much as an inch closer
"What is our next plan of action my master?" Kuraz questioned as Adrian smirked while radiant energy pulsed from his hands
"Simple. We attack and leave no quarter to be given." Adrian told him as he saw that with nearly 300K health that this was gonna be a hell of a fight
"As you wish." Kuraz spoke before rushing after Dark Highlander
With Kuraz meeting Dark Highlander head on with Adrian riding atop his shoulder and jumping off as Dark Highlander went to go in for a scythe swing, Adrian immediately cast Anger of the Noonday Sun against the fiend. Exploding into emerald colored sunlight against the armored fiend who had to shield his eyes as the radiant energy exploded against him, leaving him wide open for Kuraz to unleash a light covered uppercut that sent the partly blinded Dark Highlander sprawling onto the pitch black sands.
Yet this didn't deter Dark Highlander from grabbing his scythe and swinging it in a wide arc while it reddish-pink demonic energies, the weapon biting into the bright golden armor of the Light monarch yet even while staggering back from the blow Kuraz stood resolute. If anything Kuraz grabbed the scythe and gathering up a great amount of radiant energy into his right hand launched a powerful haymaker into Dark Highlander's gut with such force to send the fiend back 10 feet, all the while Adrian followed through by casting Wrath of the Seraphim right on top of the scythe-wielding fiend.
The bright emerald light illuminating the area in all of its brilliance leaving Dark Highlander still holding its scythe, its robed form smoking from the potent radiant energy that burned away at it's attire while having caustically melted away at its flesh underneath it all. Even with its wounds it still stood as though nothing had happened to it to begin with, as it merely charged its wounded form towards Kuraz who rushed against it with both fists shrouded in golden light that met against scythe covered in reddish-pink demonic energies.
"Never did I think that I'd see one of the Monarchs here. Especially under the command of a mortal." Dark Highlander spoke as the clashing energies caused the sands to spiral around them and the winds to howl more intensely
"My master is one such mortal that is strong enough to command me. So long as he proves that he has the strength to lead me and my brethren when we find them. Then I will stay under his command till the bitter end." Kuraz responded in seeing that Adrian was a more than strong enough for him to be under the pyromancer's command
"Then where is your master? One would think that if he's strong enough to command a monarch, then he would be right beside you." Dark Highlander questioned as to where Adrian was while they continued their clash
"That matters not. What matters is that your attention belongs to me fiend." Kuraz responded before headbutting Dark Highlander causing it to stumble while briefly seeing stars
"So be it. Although I will not hold responsibility when your master sees you without your head." Dark Highlander spoke as its scythe cut into Kuraz's right arm that was used to block the blow
'That's what you think.' Adrian thought as he cast Volcanic Meteor
With the large chunk of volcanic rock blasting into Dark Highlander's side and sending it careening a ways away before it exploded, lighting its cape and the lower part of its armored robes ablaze with lime green flame. Yet Adrian followed this through with by testing out his new White Mage spell in the form of Sunbeam onto Dark Highlander who tried to deflect the beam of sunlight that crashed into it, only for Kuraz in a surprisingly quick burst of speed get behind the fiend and sucker punch it.
Which left it open to the beam of sunlight striking its center mass as it used its scythe to shield itself from the constant stream of sunlight that continued to eat away at its flesh and burn away at its armor, nearly forcing it to one knee. Yet in refusal to give in Dark Highlander channeled great amounts of demonic energy into its scythe and slammed it into the sands around it, causing a concussive shockwave of demonic energy to rip through everything in a 80 foot radius that sent Adrian and Kuraz sprawling.
With Adrian having a large chunk of his health that neared a 3rd in its totality stripped from him, which was evident by his body covered in corrosive looking burns across his upper body and neck, which had Adrian for the first time in a long time coughing up blood. So to remedy this the pyromancer had cast Vitality Drain to sap away at Dark Highlander's own lifeforce as tendrils of black and Harlequin green lanced force and wrapped and impaled themselves into its form, momentarily stunning it before it tried to go on the offensive.
The key word trying as Kuraz used another burst of speed to launch a golden radiance covered kick to Dark Highlander's stomach with such power it had the fiend double over, yet retaliated in kind with a scythe strike to the Monarch's armored skull before another short flurry of them across his chest. Which was enough cause for Adrian to use Misty Step to teleport into the middle of things and cast 3 Thunderwave spells in short succession to blast back Dark Highlander till the fiend landed flat on its ass.
'Now this oughta finish the bastard off.' Adrian thought as he used Blasted Eruption to incinerate the scythe wielding fiend for good
"Kuraz. Are you doing alright?" Adrian asked the wounded Monarch as he quickly cast Aura of Vitality and Cure Wounds on Kuraz
"I will be alright, my master. Many thanks for getting rid of the fiend. Also, apologies for having not been able to get rid of it by myself. It seems as though I've weakened in the time my fellow monarchs have been separated from each other." Kuraz answered back in cursing his weakness that he wasn't able to take on one loathsome fiend by himself
"You're all good man. Besides, this was your 1st outing after who knows how long. So all is forgiven." Adrian spoke as he finished healing Kuraz
(+7 Reputation to Kuraz the Light Monarch for forgiving his failings to take down Dark Highlander without being wounded. 39/100)
"So what is it you wish to do now, my master?" Kuraz questioned the pyromancer
"I say we continue taking out more of these creatures for a bit longer. After that we head out." Adrian spoke as Kuraz nodded and together they headed off into the dungeon to further slaughter the creatures within it
(3 days later, August 12th, 2013, Taylor Residence, 2:46 Pm)
It was a few days later as Adrian who had over the course of the week had found a place for the Longbottom's to set up shop in Liverpool and had kept a watchful eye on them by bugging the place with his surveillance drones.
"Whatcha watchin." Jack asked as she waltzed up to Adrian who was looking at a video feed on his laptop of the Longbottoms
"Not much really. Just finished watching something quite interesting is all." Adrian replied in having finished watching the Longbottom's converse with none other than Remus Lupin
"What was it you were watching, can we see it?" Jack asked the Gamer as she was too short to look over Adrian's shoulder
"Simple really. Those nice people who stayed with us were talking to someone I've had my eye on for a while." Adrian told the Assassin of Black in having had his eyes on Lupin for a long time
"Is it someone you want us to kill? Because we really wanna test out the knives you made better for us." Jack questioned in hoping it was someone her master wanted them to kill
"Sadly not. Although I will have some more people for you to get rid of soon enough. No, this one is someone that I want to come to me. Someone that I have plans for to get rid of some more bad people." Adrian told the childlike assassin with a smile that cracked itself across his face
"How's that man gonna help you out? He looks really sick." Jack wondered as Adrian had pulled a chair for the killer loli to sit next to him
"That's easy. Because you're right about one thing Jack, he's got something that's making him real sick. However, I can help make him all better in no time. Once I do he'll be indebted to me enough to where I can have him do a few favors for me." Adrian responded in knowing how to get Lupin under his thumb
One part of which was to cure him of the lycanthropy he long since suffered from, something that he was happy to do since it wouldn't just have him indebted to him enough to where he could use it as ammo to make sure the werewolf would turn against Dumbledore. It would also be because Remus Lupin was one of his favorite Harry Potter characters growing up that he felt got dealt a raw deal in being a werewolf, so a more benevolent part of him was also doing so since it was him helping one of his favorite characters.
"That makes sense." Jack said in being downtrodden at hearing that she wouldn't get to murder
"Don't worry your pretty little head Jack. Since I actually do have someone for you to kill and test your new knives out on." Adrian said in getting the Assassin of Black to perk up at hearing that
"Really?! Who are we gonna get to kill with our new knives! This is gonna be so much fun to have them stay alive longer." Jack wondered as to who would be the target of her testing out her new knives on
"That's simple. His name is Ted Tonks and he's someone whose in the way of a nice lady I want. So when he goes out into one of the towns I want you to cut him up for me and bring me his head or whatever else you want to take from him." Adrian told Jack of who she was to kill in the form of the Tonks matriarch
"Don't worry we'll make sure that he dies without a problem. We're just really excited that we get to use the knives you made better for us on him." Jack spoke with excitement in her voice at being able to test out her flame magic imbued knives on a target
"I know you are. Keep doing good work like what you did with the last two people I sent you after. Then you'll be getting that Power Rangers costume of yours in no time." Adrian told her as Jack's expression immediately lit up like a Christmas tree upon hearing that
"You really mean it?! Have you made it yet, have you, have you, have you, have you?!" Jack asked excitedly as the mention of her Power Rangers costume immediately at had her bouncing like a kid on a sugar high
"Of course I'm getting started on it. The real question is, what color do you want your costume to be in? After all, I'm making it specially made for you." Adrian answered back while wondering what color Jack wanted her costume to be
"Can we have ours in red? We want to be the red ranger really badly." Jack told the Gamer as to what color she wanted her Power Ranger costume to be
"Sure you can. Besides, I'm sure you'll make an awesome red ranger." Adrian replied to the assassin
"You really mean it?" Jack asked as Adrian patted her on the head with a smile widening across his face
"Of course I mean it, I wouldn't say it if I didn't." Adrian told her
Considering that Adrian was very much entertained by the idea of Jack the Ripper being a Red Power Ranger both considering that she would paint the streets red with the blood of all the monsters, and the idea of seeing the killer loli running around being a tiny buzzsaw of destruction amused him
"Now then, why don't you go downstairs and I'll join you to watch more Power Rangers. Considering that we just started Zeo and are getting to one of my favorite parts." Adrian spoke as he always loved the Zeo Megazord
"Hooray! We can't wait to watch it." Jack replied as she scampered away to queue up the next episode of Power Rangers Zeo
Besides, you enjoying Power Rangers with the world's deadliest loli. Any real reason why your having her kill off Ted Tonks?
"Simple really. If there's one thing I've wanted to try and do since I got here. Its to fuck all 3 of the Black sisters considering that together they make the holy MILF trinity. And I really wanna have that. Ted Tonks is standing in the way of that. So that means he has to die. Besides, once I get next to her then I'll have a nice test subject for Eromancy." Adrian replied as he really wanted to fuck all 3 of the Black sisters and to do so meant that he'd have to get rid of Andromeda's husband
Truly you are an odd and extremely chaotic individual. Granted a highly entertaining one. But an unpredictable and chaotic one nonetheless.
"Hey. I'm setting out to get the holy MILF trinity of the Black sisters. So I will be damned if anyone gets in my way of what I want. Since they'll be mine sooner or later, they just don't know it yet." Adrian said as he desired to have all 3 Black sisters as his and nothing was going to get in the way of that
Then happy hunting to you. I swear seeing how you accomplish this is gonna make for some damned good entertainment.
"Thank you. Now if ya don't mind I've got some Power Rangers to enjoy with the world's deadliest loli." Adrian replied as he went downstairs to join Jack in watching more Power Rangers
So with Adrian having begun to getting back into the swing of things by training up his Volcanic Lord and White Mage classes, he also n has had his interview with Rita Skeeter. All the while setting his sights on Lupin and getting the holy trinity of the Black Sisters under him. So how will all of this coincide with each other? SetoKayba2n: I don't have anything against witches at all, its just that as a character I do not like Hermione in any capacity. Not to mention that this version of Harry isn't lost without her, when she's gone and over with.
Guest: Good point on if I send him to Avatar. The only problem I have is where I would put him in said series, because that to me is the tricky part so to speak.
Mckenray: I still have plans for Bellatrix, especially since Adrian can use Remove Madness on her and the fact that Voldemort's reputation is now in the shitter thanks to him.
Lq840i: Here's the thing, Adrian's not gonna kill Ron right away. Because at the current moment he still has bigger fish to fry before he gets to Ron. Plus the way I see it to Adrian, Hermione isn't all that special since what can she do for him that he can't get someone else for. Not only that but I honestly can't stand Hermione who just really rubbed me the wrong way growing up.
Ciliaen: You make a compelling point for why he should put a bigger focus on Necromancy vs Storm Magic. Granted he can still summon machines he makes to aid him and all that. Even so, having a undead army would help for future worlds on top of Necromancy being a stepping stone to learning Soul Magic.
Locothehood: I'll be getting to Ron eventually, as I have plans to just fuck over the Weasleys soon enough. Also I have plans for Eromancy so to speak, as more or less I just have to find a way for it to be used for shenanigans.
Demzerff1: Well one way that he could get his machines installed on Azkaban would be to just flex on everyone via obliterating them all with his White Magic, because if that wouldn't shock the Magical World I don't know what would. Also I don't know if they would clash, as its weird that both of them are thicc when you think about it...(shudders). Also I do plan to have Jack age and grow up so to speak, as it would make things more interesting and writing out a teenage and eventual adult Jack would be fun to do. The idea of a magical EMP sounds dope as all hell, as it would be an incredibly fun way to dick over witches and wizards. Also the idea of using the more vibrant and life-giving aspects of fire magic does sound interesting and is something that I'd be down for diving into since Adrian is about exploring what his powers can do and all that jazz.
Austin: Yeah as can you really blame them for wanting to leave, considering that in a society where your constantly badgered over if your blood is pure enough or what faction you belong too. Then getting out of Britain in favor of something completely new and not having to face the prejudice's that a would in Magical Britain is more than enough reason for them to wanna go to Brazil. Plus thanks for bringing up Japan as I do plan on getting other countries involved later down the line. Plus Adrian would have already told Alice and Frank about the hypothetical shitstorm Voldemort could've caused in their antics breaking the Statue of Secrecy..because seriously does Voldemort not think any of the stuff he does through in the long-term? Cause you'd think for someone wanting to be the biggest and baddest Dark Lord that he'd have some form of common sense of what would happen if he kept doing his muggle-killing sprees with the Death Eaters and how much it would fuck things up once the Statue of Secrecy is broken, as soon enough the Queen ain't gonna have any more of that and decide to just send armed forces and call in allies to just stomp your shit. Yeah I can imagine it would turn into a Mad Max type of situation with a quickness all things considered and would be one of the most brutal dark futures for Power Rangers possible, not to mention that when you think about it in terms of making their own twisted versions of the Power Rangers. I could see some of the villains capturing past Rangers and doing what DC did in making a Dark Knights Metal versions of Past Rangers for their own army. Plus I got real peeved when I realized that Daijinryu got downgraded in the Forever Red episode..even if it was super awesome.
OeschernC: Eventually female Mordred will get summoned as she's one of my favorite Fate characters. However, its more of a matter of picking which servant will fit what role Adrian needs for what new world he goes too.
That takes care of that as I hope you guys have enjoyed this chapter and everything that has gone along with it. However, without further delay let's get down to it now shall we.
First up we've got Adrian getting back into things by going into the Celestial Dungeon's 2nd layer and fighting another one of the mini-bosses and leveling up his Volcanic Lord to gain some more options of mass destruction.
Next up we've got his interview with Rita Skeeter which thanks to that is gonna do some real big damage to Voldemort in terms of his followers coming back to him, and any followers that he could possibly have join his ranks once more.
Coming up after that there's Adrian venturing forth into the 2nd Demon Dungeon with Kuraz at his side and taking on the 1st mini-boss of it together.
Lastly we've got Adrian setting his sights on Remus Lupin and getting him under his thumb to turn against Dumbledore, while also setting Jack the Ripper loose on Ted Tonks so he can begin his quest to acquire all 3 of the Black sisters.
All that being said please favorite, follow, review and share this story out as much as possible. And flames for the most part will be ignored because at the point you're mainly wasting mine and everyone's time. Other than that constructive criticism and ideas on how to improve things are welcome.
