(Chapter 23: An Electric Experience)
For Adrian the month of September was proceeding quite well all things considered seeing as with it he gained his alliance with Lucius and started a relationship with Andromeda, who with her skills in herbology had him thinking that going into business with her and using her talents wouldn't be such a bad idea. With his training having continued to quite well for himself in having managed throughout this time period to get to Level 87 of his White Mage class and Level 45 of his Martial Artist class, with him wanting to level both up so that way he could see what would happen if he started mixing Full Cowling with White Magic.
Besides that he had felt himself nearing completion with his obtaining Storm Magic with it becoming easier and easier to manipulate the lightning he generated from his flames and the rush he felt from knowing he'd soon command the power of a storm at his fingertips. Other than that he'd also had gone out with Jack to Hogsmeade a few more times to let her enjoy herself more as a kid, well that and to mess with Rosmerta more in using his Eromancy on her when he'd usually just engage and often times flirt with her; having gotten it up to Level 11 in the process.
(September 18th, 2013, Taylor Residence, 9:51 Pm)
It was 9 minutes till 10 at night as Adrian had continued to practice with trying to unlock his Storm Magic which he felt was so close to completion as he had spent hours on end ever since coming to this world practicing to unlock it.
"Finally I'll have the power of a storm all at my control. Then soon enough I'll be that much closer to becoming pure destruction." Adrian said to himself with a broad grin as he continued to manipulate and form the now arcane lightning into various geometric shapes
'Now all that's left to do is just keep focused and soon that power is gonna be mine to unleash on the world. Hmm what to do first when I get real good at it? A lightning storm that could scorch a city block or a fuck-off tornado to shred everything to hell?' Adrian pondered to himself as he continued his manipulating and formation of the various forks of lightning that arced around him
With Adrian seeing that his control and manipulation of it was not much easier whereas before it was a frantic and unstable electric blue like that of normal lightning when he started, was now a far more stable and controlled Amazon green that arced around him like a miniature storm that was accompanied by fierce winds that howled in the night. The Gamer continued to mold and form the lightning around him into various geometric shapes and objects as the winds around him began to howl more fiercely, growing so intense that they began to shred the grass and earth around him like a wheat thresher.
This continued on for some time as Adrian soon formed a field of howling winds and now arcane lightning began to expand until it was a field of high-speed winds and bright green lightning in a spherical field about 70 feet in diameter. With him feeling confident enough in his control of said lightning and wind that he soon concentrated it into a singular point the size of a watermelon before firing it off into the night sky, where it soon exploded into winds strong enough to shred any trees or brick and mortar to rubble and debris.
With the lightning soon taking the form of a majestic eagle the size of a semi-truck with a trailer attached to it that lit up the night sky in a Amazon green glow that had wings thrice the size of an RV, before it let out a shrill caw and flew away into the night before dispersing with an almighty clap of thunder that could shake the world around it.
Due to your constant training in manipulating and controlling your flames into lightning, and doing so to pull off that spectacle. I think that you deserve this.
Storm Mage class has now been unlocked.
"Well, after I get done with my White Mage class. I think I know what I'll be focusing on next. Well, besides Necromancy because I really wanna make an army of robo-undead." Adrian said to himself with a grin as he looked at his hands that now crackled with arcane lightning
'Soon I'll be able to rain down fucking lightning bolts on Voldemort's stupid head! Oh that'll be a great day.' Adrian thought to himself with his face curling into a sinister grin at the imagery of Voldemort being violently electrocuted
"Master Adrian is everything alright?!" Nadrey asked in having come rushing out after seeing the eagle shaped mass of lightning that followed with it a deafening boom that shook the house
"I'm doing absolutely wonderful, Nadrey. Is something the matter?" Adrian answered back as a feeling of absolute joy and near euphoria at unlocking his Storm magic
"I saw this massive flash of lightning in the shape of a bird that flew into the sky and nearly broke our windows from the thunder that came with it. That's not even mentioning the winds that blew the windows and doors open like a starved dementor coming through the place. So I came out to see that everything was alright and that you were safe, Master Adrian." Nadrey told him as Adrian's unlocking his storm magic was enough cause for the House Elf to come and see what in Merlin's name was going on
"My bad. What ya saw happenin' was me unlocking another one of my magics. Probably should've warned you that whenever I experiment with my magic, that the results are normally...chaotic and in this case deafening to say the least." Adrian said in knowing that he probably should've warned the House Elf about his experimenting with his magic and the spells that came from each of his arcane based classes
"If I may give a suggestion to you, Master Adrian. Perhaps it would be best to have a training room built. This way you would be able to fully experiment and test out your magic without having to destroy your backyard. Not to mention it would do well for you to unleash your more...destructive spells in such a setting." Nadrey advised to the Gamer who recognized it as a great idea
With Adrian knowing that it would make perfect sense for him to have a training room built so that he could better field test his more destructive spells, on top of being able to have a space to experiment with his magic to create new and more powerful techniques than what his current skill-set currently yielded. Yet only one problem remained in having a sufficient training room that could handle his destructive magics, which was one that would be able to handle the amount of punishment he could deal out and have round the clock warding so as to withstand the constant damage he would be putting it through.
"That's a wonderful idea Nadrey. Although I'll have to really get together some people who know their way around warding and abjuration magic. Because with what I have planned the costs to make what I have planned are gonna be up there." Adrian replied in knowing full well that building that training room like he wanted was gonna cost a pretty penny
"Another suggestion that I'd like to make. Perhaps it would be best if we went inside, before it rains." Nadrey advised as he saw that thanks to Adrian's spectacle dark clouds had already begun to form
"Its not gonna…nevermind I spoke too soon." Adrian asked before he felt a raindrop fall on his head
"I would assume it would be because your unlocking whatever magic you were working on, has now caused a thunderstorm to happen. So I think it would be in everyone's best interest to head inside. Unless you like getting rained on Master Adrian." Nadrey answered back as soon enough it began to start raining in thick sheets while thunder boomed and lightning cracked across the night sky
"That sounds like a great idea. By the way is Jack awake? Since she probably heard what happened I figured that we might as well watch some movies." Adrian wondered it the killer loli had gone to bed
"No sir. Lady Jack has been up all night. To be quite frank with you. The fact that she hardly sleeps at all does unsettle me." Nadrey spoke as the middle-aged house elf did find himself being incredibly unnerved by Jack's presence
"Yeah...Jack's a..special case. But she's still a good kid, she's just a little bit off you could say." Adrian told Nadrey as they headed back inside while the storm continued to rage outside
"Whatever you say, Master Adrian." Nadrey spoke still incredibly unnerved by Jack's behavior
'I swear that girl is a monster, no matter what Master Adrian says about her. There's something incredibly wrong with her, that I don't wanna know about.' Nadrey thought to himself in feeling very creeped out and afraid of the killer loli
(4 days later, September 22nd, 2013, Demon Dungeon, 2:16 Pm)
It would be a few days later after Adrian had unlocked his Storm Mage class and was currently within the 2nd layer of the Demon Dungeon and riding atop Kuraz's shoulder on their way to the next mini-boss.
"Hey Kuraz. Mind if I ask ya somethin'?" Adrian said to the Light Monarch
"What is it that you wish to ask of me, my master?" Kuraz replied as they soldiered forth through the desert like dungeon
"I was just wondering what will happen when we get the rest of the monarchs together? Because I'd like to know what happens when I eventually assemble how many of you are." Adrian asked in wondering was gonna happen once all the Monarchs were assembled
"I do not know what shall happen once I and my fellow monarchs are reassembled. Only that once we do our collective power shall have us be unstoppable under a single banner. That is all that I can give you for current information of our inevitable reunion, my master." Kuraz answered in not knowing the full breadth of what would happen once he and his fellow monarchs were reunited only that they would once more be an force of great power only this time under a singular banner
"Your all good, Kuraz. Any information is good information, so say your peace on it." Adrian replied in being content with what Kuraz told him as good enough
"Still. I would like to know what some of your fellow monarchs are like?" Adrian questioned Kuraz as to what some of the other monarchs may be like
"I do know one of my fellow monarchs who would be similar to you. At least from an elemental perspective and somewhat like you would be Thestalos." Kuraz answered back in knowing that said monarch was somewhat similar to Adrian
"Isn't Thestalos one of the monarchs who controls fire?" Adrian questioned in having a vague knowledge of all of the Monarch cards
"Correct. Thestalos is the Firestorm Monarch. His domain was over fire, heat and all things that burn. At his height of his power; he was able to scorch entire cities to cinder with his infernos. Not to mention that he was one of the more warlike of us all." Kuraz spoke in knowing that at the height of his power that Thestalos being the most destructive of them all was able to turn entire cities to ash
"Wow that's cool! Now I really wanna meet Thestalos! But how else is he similar to me besides both us favoring fire as our primary element?" Adrian wondered as now he was really wanting to get ahold of Thestalos to have said Monarch join up with him
"Thestalos was also the most destructive of all. He craved nothing more than to show off the power of his flames and cause utter mayhem in the process. In that regard he reminds me of you. Seeing that both of you share an incredibly potent joy for causing destruction and mayhem. The similarity in that regard is honestly quite frightening." Kuraz told him in seeing that both his new master and Thestalos were similar in the aspect of loving to cause pure and untold amounts of destruction
"To be fair destruction is an incredibly wonderful thing once you really look at it. I mean creation is really overrated if ya ask me. But the power to cause chaos and reduce everything the other guy has worked so hard to build into ashes and rubble. Now that is a power that I see as the greatest thing to ever exist." Adrian said in seeing the power to destroy and devastate as one of the greatest things in existence
"Truly you are an oddity if I've ever seen one. Now I'm definitely assured that you and Thestalos will get along greatly." Kuraz spoke in noting that Adrian spoke about the powers of destruction and death with a reverence similar to what Thestalos would have when talking about the subject
With more of the conversation being had while the both of them continuing onwards in slaying the various fiends and devils that came for their necks, between Kuraz's great strength and command over radiant energy as well as Adrian deciding to say fuck it and bust out his Volcanic Lord spells to scorch his enemies en masse. Yet one thing that was made known throughout their trail of destruction was that Kuraz had noticed a power that he'd not felt in many ages, one that as they got closer and closer recognized all too well in who it belonged to.
"Somethin' wrong there Kuraz?" Adrian asked the Light Monarch who felt something in the distance
"Not necessarily. We're merely approaching one of my fellow monarchs, Caius the Shadow Monarch." Kuraz told him as he soon saw the silhouette of said Monarch sitting atop a throne made of the corpses of various fiends and solidified shadow
"Anything you can really tell me besides him being your probable opposite. Ya know with you being the Light Monarch and him being the Shadow Monarch?" Adrian questioned on if Kuraz knew anything about the Shadow Monarch
"That luckily Caius hasn't returned to his true form. Otherwise this would be a much more difficult battle. Furthermore we're also lucky that there isn't anywhere that casts a shadow or darkness. For anywhere there is shadow and darkness is another avenue of attack for Caius to use against us." Kuraz answered back in being glad that there was no real shadowed area for Caius to use and really screw them over
"Good to know that we've lucked out." Adrian spoke before he had to cast Wall of Fire to protect himself and Kuraz from being hit by a undulating mass of shadow and malefic energy
"So you've allowed yourself to be subservient to a mortal. Either you've allowed yourself to fall extremely far as a fellow Monarch. Or you've finally found the one who will reunite us all and lead us to our former glory. Something I highly doubt." Caius said his voice a deep bass that sounded all encompassing as the pitch-blackness of night
"How about you come over and say that to my face, ya edgy bastard!" Adrian called out as he wasn't gonna stand for Caius basically calling him weak
"Then prove how strong you actually are. Because I doubt your strength is enough to have gained Kuraz's loyalty. No doubt you probably tricked him into serving you. Seeing as how you look as though a mere flick of my finger would kill you." Caius spoke which caused Adrian's right eye to twitch in anger
So deciding to make use of one of his Volcanic Lord spells, Adrian had cast Pele's Outbreak with him firing off a large house-sized mass of magma that soared into the air before just as quickly erupting into a chaotic eruption of volcanic rock. The Shadow Monarch rose from his macabre throne and summoned forth a warbling mass of shadow and dark energy to parry the oncoming eruption of magma that came rocketing towards him, the two clashing and exploding against one another in a haze of heat, emerald light that was muffled by the shadows of Caius's attack.
Yet it was the moment that Caius had risen from his throne to launch forth his attack that Kuraz charged forth and landed a shoulder tackle augmented by his own radiant energies that crashed into his opposite, the force of which was so great that it all but obliterated his throne. This being followed through by Adrian launching a point-blank Sunbeam at Caius's face that further had the Shadow Monarch back away, due to being blasted back from the concentrated beam of emerald sunlight from the Gamer.
With the punishment being further amped up by Kuraz launching a small flurry of punches against Caius's form that was enough to crack away at his already smoking armor, so to counter this the Shadow Monarch unleashed an omnidirectional shockwave of darkness and insidious energies that blasted Kuraz and Adrian away. While Adrian used Misty Step to teleport himself to the ground safely, Kuraz on the other hand was sent tumbling some 60 feet away before immediately rising back to his feet to see Caius powering up an attack.
Adrian decided to retaliate alongside Kuraz as Adrian had cast Volcanic Meteor while Kuraz had unleashed a jet of golden radiance that soon combined with mass of volcanic rock and turned the magma and flame within it, to a greenish-gold coloration. With Caius firing out a undulating mass of black and royal violet shadow and and malefic energies that clashed against the attack; the clash became a brief one once Adrian fired 3 more Volcanic Meteors that helped said attack crash through Caius's and impact the Shadow Monarch with great force.
"So do you think those put had a dent in him? Because if not then I guess I can start breaking out more of the big stuff?" Adrian questioned the Light Monarch as the smoke cleared to reveal a moderately burned Caius who had a barrier of darkness raised around him
"While we are incredibly powerful. Even I must admit that Caius himself can't deny your destructive powers." Kuraz spoke as Adrian merely grinned before snapping his fingers
"Well then, let's see the great Shadow Monarch stand up to this!" Adrian spoke as soon enough the sky began to turn bright green that was accompanied by heat so fierce that sands around them started to smoke
Once informed of what was coming Kuraz decided it would be best to start getting away to a safe distance, all the while Caius was soon made aware of the fact that Adrian had cast Meteor Swarm as a small arsenal of meteors soon came crashing down towards him. That in mind Caius gathered all of his available power to summon forth a dome-like barrier of pitch-black shadows to solidify and cover him, the meteors then made impact and violently erupt into tumultuous mass of flame and pure destruction.
The aftermath of which left a massive crater in the sands of the Demon Dungeon that had turned it into white hot glass where in the middle of it all stood Caius, granted he stood heavily burned and his armor cracked from the Meteor Swarm which had magenta colored ichor leaking from his various wounds. This momentary state of weakness was seized upon by Kuraz going after his fellow Monarch in an intense bout of speed and pummeling him with fists covered in golden radiance, the weakened shadow monarch was unable to put up a token defense after expending so much energy to protect himself against the Meteor Swarm.
All the while Adrian had used this time to sneak behind the Shadow Monarch who was being beaten down by Kuraz and further leave him at the Light Monarch's mercy by casting Light Chains, the bindings of emerald radiance ensnaring the monarch. With Adrian having followed through by casting Starlight at near point-blank range at Caius who between being subject to the vicious blows from Kuraz and Adrian keeping the punishment via his Starlight spell, it was only a matter of time before the Shadow Monarch succumbed to the attacks from both ends.
'I guess that takes care of that. Not to mention I can add another Monarch to the list.' Adrian thought as he soon saw Caius's HP reach 0 thanks to his Starlight spell blasting a hole through Caius's chest
"I did not expect for you to summon meteors on top of Caius, my master. Such a thing I didn't know was in your capacity to do." Kuraz spoke up in surprise of his fellow monarch having been struck by meteors as he watched Caius fade away into darkness
"That's just one of my many tricks I've got up my sleeve. To tell you the truth I've just been getting started on really tapping into what I can do." Adrian replied as Meteor Swarm was just one of his many tricks in his highly destructive toolbox that he was just beginning to scratch the surface on being a true destructive force
"Your destructive prowess grows more and more impressive everytime I fight alongside you." Kuraz said in finding himself more and more intrigued and gaining more respect for Adrian's arcane might
"Thank you. So seeing as how with our defeat of Caius, and his joining my side because of it. I think we can call this a day." Adrian replied in having received the Gacha Token to summon Caius as an ally
"Understood, my master. I was glad to have been of service to you." Kuraz spoke as he was soon dispelled and Adrian returned to the regular world
"Now that that's taken care of, I can start planning how to do things for tomorrow night. Since it sure helps to know that some people can be bought off." Adrian said under his breath as he had a meeting with a fleabag to get ready for tomorrow night
(The next night later, September 23rd, 2013, Cardiff, English, 10:40 Pm)
It was the following night as Adrian was waiting for one Mundungus Fletcher who he had come by and paid to deliver to him one of the Horcruxes stashed away at Grimmauld Place, with Fletcher agreeing to do so by tonight after being showed how much the Gamer would pay him.
'I swear if the bastard isn't here in the next 15 minutes with that fucking horcrux. I'll find where he lives and torch him and it to the ground.' Adrian thought to himself in a great amount of anger and irritation as he soon felt a heat signature appear out of seemingly nowhere
"You're over an hour and a half late Fletcher. What part of being here by nine-thirty do you not understand?!" Adrian questioned Mundungus who came half walking/half stumbling towards Adrian who upon closer inspection saw that his eyes were starting to glow green in irritation of being kept waiting
"I thought I'd swing by to grab me a drink. I mean what you wanted me to grab out of there, especially while Order members are there in full view was very fuckin' hard to do! If anything I should be gettin' paid double for my services!" Mundungus spat his breath smelling of cheap alcohol while his bloodshot eyes looked over at Adrian with impertinence
"Perhaps this should sober you up, Fletcher." Adrian spoke as he used his control over flames to set Mundungus's pants ablaze in arcane fire
"What the bloody hell is your problem?! You could've burned my goddamn cock off, you uppitty bastard!" Mundungus howled as he had to cast a Aguamenti charm to put out the flames from roasting his undercarriage
"My problem is that your a drunken mess Fletcher. Not to mention you dare to make demands out of me when I'm the one that's paying your worthless behind. Which is why you should be grateful I don't do far worse than torch your pants." Adrian spoke as Mundungus took a moment to really look Adrian in the eyes and saw that they were no longer a usually chilled out and fun-loving azure blue
Instead he was looking at ones that were a bright and furious Harlequin green that glowed like miniature infernos that combined with the immense pressure and heat Adrian seemed to radiate like he was a brilliant star, Mundungus soon got the message of 'either sober up and get your shit together, or I torch you to ashes in the next 10 seconds' as a thin line of anger and heavy irritation from the drunkard's actions was now stretched across the Gamer's face.
"So are you sober enough to act like you've got some goddamn sense?! Or do you need further motivation to get your shit together, you good-for-nothing drunk? If so then I can more than make it happen." Adrian questioned with his tone colored by burning hot fury as the thief saw the gamer's hands began to smoke further with emerald fire
"I-I'm good. Jeez calm your tits already. I'd rather not be an ash pile tonight." Mundungus answered as the thought of Adrian incinerating him made him sober up with a quickness
"Good to see you've sobered up. Now then, do you have what I want?" Adrian asked his eyes returning back to their normal blue color and dispelled the fire that crackled around his hands
"Yeah, I do. But first, I want my bloody reward for going through all this trouble. I deserve that ….." Mundungus demanded but a irate glare from Adrian quickly silenced him
"What I paid you to get me first. Then you'll get your reward." Adrian told him as Mundungus grumbled a few curses under his breath before he reached into his pockets for Adrian's prize
"Here it is. I swear this is the real deal and then some." Mundungus spoke as he handed Adrian, Salazar Slytherin's locket
"Thank you. For your services Mundungus. You've truly been most helpful." Adrian replied as he took the locket from Mundungus
"So about my reward, Lord Ravenclaw? Because you promised me nearly my full weight in galleons for doing this for ya. So come on and give me my goddamn reward already!" Mundungus spoke as he wanted his galleons and now
"Don't worry Fletcher. I'll be getting your reward right now." Adrian replied with a cruel smile that came across his face while he snapped his fingers
Faster than Mundungus could even utter a word or move his wand he soon found a sharp pain going through his back and looked down to see that his shirt was rapidly turning red, but before he could even utter a word or say a single thing to cast a spell. A blade soon ripped its way through his jugular vein and sliced downwards to sever his windpipe and cut into his collarbone, causing him to fall over and rapidly bleed out as out of the darkness the culprit was revealed to be none other than Jack the Ripper herself.
"There's your reward Mr. Fletcher. I really do hope ya like it, as its all that leeches like you deserve." Adrian said as he watched Mundungus soon expire thanks to his mortal injuries
"Did we do a good job father?" Jack questioned the Gamer who looked at her with a broad grin across his face before responding
"You did fantastic tonight Jack, I'm proud of ya." Adrian answered back in getting a wide smile from the Assassin of Black
"Hooray! So what are we gonna do now?" Jack asked her master as to what they'd do next
"After we get you into some fresh clothes, since that maggot got yours all dirty. Then i'm gonna take you to IHOP to get you some pancakes. How does that sound?" Adrian told her which made her smile widen at the idea of getting pancakes
"Can you get us blueberry pancakes?" Jack asked as they were her favorite
"Sure. I'll get you all the blueberry pancakes you can eat." Adrian answered getting cheers of approval
"Just let me take care of this first and then we'll be on our way." Adrian told Jack as he put Mundungus's corpse in his inventory before scorching away any blood from said corpse with his Burning Hands spell
"Now let's go get you changed into some fresh clothes. Then off to get us some pancakes!" Adrian said to the Assassin of Black who had a massive grin on her face
"We can't wait to get pancakes, this is a great night for us!" Jack cheered at soon being able to have all the blueberry pancakes she wanted
'Well, two down. Four more to go.' Adrian thought to himself as with the imminent erasure of Voldemort's soul fragment from the locket he had merely 4 more to get rid of
(3 days later, September 23rd, 2013, 2:10 Pm, Taylor Residence)
It was a few days later after Adrian had gained the locket of Salazar Slytherin and had destroyed the soul fragment that resided in it by sending in mass amounts of White Magic into it, which effectively obliterated the shard of Voldemort's soul from existence.
"Now what to do? After I finish White Mage." Adrian pondered to himself as to what he should do once he finished with White Mage
"Well, might as well leave it to a good ol' fashioned coin flip. Heads for Storm Mage and tails for Necromancer." Adrian said as he took out a Galleon and flipped in his hands before catching it
"I guess Necromancer it is. Well, looks like I can start making my army of robo-undead after all. Not to mention it would be a pretty good dichotomy for my having holy magic." Adrian added with a shrug of his shoulders
So with his day being pretty much empty and nothing else to do for the current moment besides look over the locket of Salazar Slytherin and all that it could possibly entail, he decided it would be best to contact Andromeda and see how she was doing. With his Engineer skills having paid off as he'd built her a tablet to use in order to keep in contact with him via Skype, as well as a few other things to help her out and be entertained while she was by herself.
"Oh, hello Adrian. I wasn't expecting to hear from you today. What can I do for you?" Andromeda questioned the Gamer
"Nothing much really, I just wanted to see how you were doing is all?" Adrian asked the middle Black sister as to how she was doing
"I've been doing fine recently. I'm just getting back into the swing of things." Andromeda answered back as she took an inhale of her blunt before letting out a puff of smoke
"...Are you getting high right now?" Adrian questioned the now widow who took another deep inhale
"Well, I have come up with some of my best ideas while I was stoned. Besides, I've not much else to do besides growing my plants and trying to get back into business is all. That and since Nymphadora isn't over I can be high as a hippogriff all I want." Andromeda replied while taking another inhale of her blunt in feeling extremely relaxed right now
"Other than that I'm doing pretty good right about now." Andromeda told him with a small giggle escaping her
"Good to know. Also since your getting back into the whole medicinal weed business. Ya mind if I back you up on the endeavor?" Adrian asked Andromeda who coughed a bit while being somewhat taken aback at the offer
"You wanna help me front my weed business? Aren't you worried about what all of those uppity nobles are gonna think of Lord Ravenclaw being involved with a stoner for the last of the great Blacks? Since I've already heard enough from Narcissa about my antics." Andromeda said as she and Narcissa to say the least had a strained relationship due to her putting her talents in herbology to in her younger sister's words 'shameful and pitiful ventures'
"Of course I would. Besides, I've seen your little sister and take it from me when I say. That if she got high every now and again then she wouldn't look so uptight all the time. Heck maybe if she took a smoke once and awhile then she'd probably be able to loosen up and actually have some fun in her life." Adrian replied knowing full well that it wouldn't kill Lucius's wife to get stoned every once and awhile so that she'd loosen up for once
"That's something we can agree on. I swear even Bellatrix before she shacked up with the Death Eaters knew how to have fun every now and again. Heck between Narcissa and my own mother. Bella was the one who was the most supportive of my making magically amped up cannabis to sell." Andromeda said while laughing a little bit over the idea of a stoned Narcissa
"Wait a minute. You mean to tell me that Bellatrix Lestrange, former Death Eater had supported what you did? No offense but kind of sounds unlikely considering how uppity someone that comes from House Black or really any noble house normally is, if your sister is anything to go by." Adrian spoke in being a bit surprised that Bellatrix would be supportive of Andromeda's endeavors
"I'm not lying to you when I say that Bellatrix supported me concerning my selling weed and other magical plants of that nature to witches and wizards. It also didn't help that we had something of a partnership together when we were in Hogwarts and up until she married that dick Rudolphus and ended with her being a Death Eater." Andromeda replied as she and Bellatrix did have a partnership together that lasted until she shacked up with Rudolphus and one that ceased upon being a Death Eater
"Y'all were partners, when you were selling weed?" Adrian questioned Andromeda who gave a nod
"Of course. I handled growing our product and making sure that it was effective as it needed to be. On top of making sure our orders got out on time. While Bella was in charge of finances and making sure that people paid on time. It was thanks to her that no one ever dared to stiff me on payments...good times." Andromeda answered back in fondly remembering of their partnership during their younger years before Voldemort's agenda ruined everything
With Bellatrix and Andromeda being the closer of the two Black sisters especially during their years at Hogwarts where Bellatrix had actually been the one to encourage her younger sister's talents, both in seeing how passionate Andromeda was for it and the fact that they could make a killing off it. The two making more money than they knew what to do with in the times they spent growing Andromeda' cannabis business into something that could truly flourish, the only time it really hit a snag before Voldemort reared his head and ruined things was when Bellatrix was forced into an arranged marriage with Rudolphus.
The leader of House Lestrange having tried to deny and break up the partnership in seeing that no wife or betrothed of his was going to be apart of something beneath those of noble stature, which didn't work as planned considering that while in front of others Rudolphus put on the front that he was the dominant one in their supposed marriage. It was truly Bellatrix who for the most part wore the pants within their marriage and especially in the bedroom where she let it be known who was the subservient and obedient one, which allowed the eldest Black sister to continue her partnership with Andromeda when she wasn't under the strain of dealing with her husband.
"Of all the things I'd ever think I'd hear about. The two of you running a weed business and whatever else y'all sold, was something I never thought I'd hear in my lifetime." Adrian said in never thinking he'd hear of how Bellatrix Lestrange of all people ran a weed business with her sister
"We did and had it not been for the Dark Lord. Then we'd be on top of things and pretty much be the muggle equivalent to billionaires by now. Not to mention that before Voldemort got his hooks into her she was a really great person." Andromeda replied in knowing that had Voldemort not came about then they'd be the richest pair of witches in all of Britain and possibly Europe at the rate they were going
"Sorry that you got one sister who's an uppity douche-canoe and the other one who got driven insane by Voldemort that's locked up in Azkaban." Adrian spoke in feeling sympathy for Andromeda concerning her 2 sisters
"Its fine Adrian. Besides, I'll always have the memories of what used to be with Bellatrix before things went to shit. As for Narcissa..we weren't all that close to begin with growing up. So there's nothing to feel sorry about concerning her. Although thank you for your condolences" Andromeda replied in knowing that she'd always have memories of the times she and Bellatrix shared from when they were partners to keep her smiling
"Anyways, beyond regaling you with how Bella and I used to be thick as thieves back in the day. When are you gonna come over so we can spend time together and get high as a hippogriff. Since that would be a great opener on discussing how we can go into business together?" Andromeda asked Adrian as to when he was gonna swing by her play so they could both get stoned and discuss fronting her business back into the wizarding world once again
"Probably in a few weeks or so. I've just got a few things I'm working on to finish up before I go over to you. Once I get everything taken care of, then I'll head over to you as soon as possible." Adrian answered back as he had to finish up a few things he had in the works before he'd go to Andromeda
"That sounds great. I can't wait to see you, and hopefully you could bring over some of those movies we watched together. Some of those were very good ones. Especially that Blade movie you showed me earlier." Andromeda requested as some of the movies she had got to watch in her visits with Adrian were quite fun to say the least
"I'll be sure to bring some over when I come see you again." Adrian promised Andromeda who gave a quite lucid grin
"Lovely. Now if you don't mind, I'll be going since the new stuff I've been working on is finally starting to kick in. So see you soon, Adrian...Oh man this is some good shit." Andromeda spoke as she felt the effects of her newest project starting to have an effect on her
"Going into business with someone who can make magical marijuana. Not something I ever expected to do while I'm here. But it should definitely prove to be highly entertaining." Adrian said to himself as he felt that his going into business with Andromeda was gonna prove to be a lot of fun
So with Adrian now going into business with Andromeda to help front her cannabis operation, he now gains and eliminates another one of Voldemort's horcruxes of the map. With everything going accordingly in his time in the new world, how will things proceed from here on out? Find out next time on A Gamer among Monsters.
Now then onto some of the reviews from the last chapter.
Lq840i: Yeah when Jack does grow she will eventually look like some of those pictures, especially the one I found where its an adult version of her in a buisiness suit. Also Adrian's skills in being a arcane powerhouse that doesn't need a wand or to cast verbally will make itself known in later chapters. I just haven't gotten around to it since people do recognize the threat along with his robot army. Also Dumbledore will be trying to arrange a meeting with Adrian soon enough as well as Death Eaters eventually coming for his neck. Furthermore that speech will eventually come, its just that I plan for it to happen when he finds out about fake Moody just so he can stick it to Dumbledore further in that regard.
Krumpwoman: I'm altering the timeline so that everything would take place in 2013 going onwards. Although everyone would be the same age and such as in canon, just with my altering and adding a few things hear and there.
Duskrider: Yeah once Jack gets her morpher and eventually her own Megazord, she and Adrian will eventually go to the Megaforce Rangers and just straight up wreck their shit and destroy them and that Zordon rip-off named Gosei. And I completely agree with you that their big 'epic' battle with all the past rangers was just disappointing and didn't make sense at all continuity wise. So trust me when I say that the Megaforce rangers are gonna get their shit rocked eventually.
Austin: Glad you liked the whole Death Eater massacre considering that its pretty much between Adrian's incredibly strong magic and his attack droids that they would get epically boned. Also I'm well aware of the relationship paradox that would happen from the Black sisters, that while not as confusing as the grandfather paradox as seen in Futurama is still a danger nonetheless in terms of writing. Yeah as Nomadic seemed really pumped on his Wild Force AU when I last checked in with him.
EV: Thank you for wishing me luck when he goes to Akame Ga Kill, as you are right about one thing in the fact that there's not that many good Gamer stories of Akame Ga Kill. Hopefully Adrian going there and can help rectify that. Also the ability to sense Electromagnetic fields with his Storm Mage ability sounds super dope and would go absolutely awesome with how he fights and whatnot.

TheCuriousGuest(Chapters 19-22): Well as you can see Jack is definitely having a good time with Adrian and just imagine all of what she can do when she becomes a Power Ranger thanks to Adrian. Also yeah the Longbottom's are definitely gonna have a good long conversation with Augusta about their treatment of Neville. Yeah as Dumbledore while he does present himself as a good chessmaster a lot of his plans the more you think about it don't make any real sense in the grand scheme of things, not to mention the idea of Jack attending Hogwarts amuses me if only for the gradually increasing death toll because people either make her mad or insult Adrian in her presence. Also that's really the thing about all of the Black sisters in that with Andromeda as the key example not much is known about who they were during Hogwarts and before shit popped off with Voldemort and something I'm gonna try to expand upon. Not to mention another thing that always bothered me about Voldemort is that instead of being an uber-terrorist that he could've done things far easier as a politian and by taking on the name of Gaunt or Slytherin and would've been able to landslide pass all the bills he wanted to upon getting into office thanks to the Dark/Neutral houses supporting him. From there he would have a lot of leeway to do as he wanted while also preventing regular Britain from doing air strikes and sending in the military before someone was just going around murdering the Queen's citizens. Also Adrian not only using Celestial Regeneration on Moody to turn him into the Punisher, but take it a step further and augment him with cybernetics to make him the fucking Terminator. Not to mention that Fenrir had to die because it really would've been a matter of time before he had one of his minions re-infect him so that he could rampage and turn people into werewolves again and this time comeback at Adrian with a vengeance. Also I've got plans for Bellatrix in the future although yeah, she realized she fucked up immensely in siding with Voldemort. Also once again Remus is an example of Dumbledore being a man who doesn't make good on his word, because had he simply went the extra mile and cured Lupin of his lycantrophy then Remus would've been triple loyal to him than what he is in canon. Rose's life is similar to her canon counterpart in a lot of aspects, furthermore Ron for the most part is an idiot since he's as dense as cinderblock he really wouldn't think about his actions in mocking Adrian's own achievements. Plus it does make total sense why Lucius would choose Adrian over Voldemort, since the former both helps him out politically and doesn't throw around Crucio's everytime he has a hissy fit about something.
That takes care of that and I hope y'all enjoyed this chapter and everything that went along with it. But without further delay let's get down to it now shall we.
First up we've got Adrian's finally unlocking his Storm Magic, which I hoped y'all liked as I wanted to make it as dope a spectacle as possible.
Coming up after it we've got Adrian and Kuraz talking about gathering more of the Monarchs and them battling against Caius the Shadow Monarch which I thought would be a neat little thing to do.
Following that we've got Adrian gaining another Horcrux and his dealing with and disposing of Mundungus Fletcher, which I wanted to do as he's one of those characters I never really saw long-term appeal in.
Lastly we've got Adrian talking with Andromeda in which we get some more detail on her past and some of what went on with her and Bellatrix in their younger days that I hope you guys enjoyed.
All that being said please favorite, follow, review and share this story out as much as possible. And flames for the most part will be ignored because at the point you're mainly wasting mine and everyone's time. Other than that constructive criticism and ideas on how to improve things are welcome.
