(Chapter 26: Task at Hand)
It would be weeks later as Adrian had spent more time with Jack and had continued to work further on her morpher and costume, in having worked tirelessly to where it was around 90 percent of its total completion; the toughest parts being the morpher she'd use. Along with working further on a magical EMP so that in case things would go south he could dick over other wizards and witches, and his not over looking over more and more about Necromancy but also having wondered how he'd get to destroying the next Horcrux; due to the only other one he could reasonably get to was at Hogwarts.
Besides all of that he mainly spent time with Jack, sketching ideas for her own megazord and overall just dicking around as a Fallen Angel via seeing if it was possible to fly so fast that he could break the sound barrier in the weeks leading up the Triwizard Tournament's 1st task, with the results varying in his attempts as the fastest he could go was near subsonic before damage started to set in..
(November 24th, 2013, 1:45 Pm, Hogwarts)
It was a quarter till 2 in the afternoon as Adrian had decided to pay a visit to the Champion's tent and more or less just say hello to Rose and wish her good luck, before her task began .
"Hey is Rose Potter still in here?! I want to talk to her for a bit, before her task starts!" Adrian called out in looking for where the Potter heiress was within the tent
"Oh..hi Lord Ravenclaw. What are you doing here? I thought you'd be up there with everyone else." Rose asked in being very much surprised to see Adrian here in the tent while she awaited her task to begin
"I just wanted to wish ya luck and see how your doin' is all." Adrian told her as he continued to approach her and sit beside a rather frazzled Triwizard Champion
"Would you believe me if I said that I was nervous as all hell. Because I had hoped that maybe this year I'd finally get to have a halfway normal one...Instead I have to go up against a dragon, just my luck as always... Why can't I just have one single school year where things aren't so batshit insane." Rose lamented with a tone of voice that was one part anxiousness and one part just done with everything that went on around her
"I believe ya. You'd have to be either stupendously brave or insane not to be nervous about going up against a dragon. However, I think I got something that may help give you a bit of a boost. I think a Hershey bar will help your spirits, Miss Potter." Adrian said while he produced said candy bar from his inventory and gave it to Rose
"Thank you, Lord Ravenclaw! Sorry to bother you with all my issues, but I just need something to take my mind off what's gonna happen soon." Rose answered back while taking the candy bar and munching on it to help ease her frazzled nerves
"Your fiinne and please call me Adrian. Besides, its not a bother to me at all to hear what's on your mind Since I'm more than happy to listen to what ya gotta say, so by all means fire away." Adrian told her which brought a small chocolate covered smile to her face
"...Really?" Rose asked as Adrian gave her a broad smile
"Of course! I mean just because I'm a noble lord, doesn't mean you can't come talk to me about stuff. In fact after you get done with your task, how about you swing by my quarters I'm staying at for this. And we can just chat and stuff." Adrian told her as he didn't mind talking with Rose and just seeing what this version of Harry Potter was like
"..Thank you that really means a lot." Rose said in being happy to have someone to talk to in a time of where her nerves where borderline fried
"No problem. By the way, let me help ya out a bit." Adrian spoke as his hand had a ethereal glow of emerald green that looked like a miniature flame
"What are you gonna do to me? Is this gonna hurt?" Rose questioned while the ethereal flames on Adrian's hand only grew brighter and more intense
"Something that's gonna help you out a lot, and something that should've happened awhile ago. Just hold still and relax, as I'm gonna make you feel better in just a moment!" Adrian answered back as he placed his hand on her head and hoping that his Hail Mary of what he was gonna attempt worked
The ethereal green glow soon spread across the upper part of her face and specifically around her eyes as he sent a massive burst of white magic into them, which had them briefly turn a robust shade of harlequin green and as a side effect of this her scar began to pulse a bit before shrinking slightly. With said process taking a few moments before Adrian had finished and had released his hand from her forehead, all the while Rose was rapidly blinking her eyes that had sharply stung from whatever he'd done to her.
"W-What did you do to me Lord Ravenclaw?" Rose asked while taking a few moments to look at her surroundings which came in such clarity that it was very much surprising to her
"See for yourself." Adrian said as Rose did just that an looked at her surrounding in surprise
"..I can see..I can see without my glasses!" Rose exclaimed in finding that she couldn't only see without her glasses but had perfect 20/20 vision
"Yup, I fixed your eyes up pretty good. So you shouldn't have any real sight related issues." Adrian told Rose as she continued to look over everything with a sense of joy at no longer needing glasses
"T-Thank you for doing this Lord Ravenclaw, I-I don't know what else to say." Rose spoke as she didn't know how else to feel but pretty grateful

"Its no big deal. Just remember that if ya want, I'm free whenever you want to talk." Adrian replied as Rose nodded all the while was in now higher spirits from having her eyesight repaired
"Again, thanks Lord Ravenclaw." Rose again thanked the pyromancer for the minor miracle he just did
"No problem, anyways good luck to you. I'm sure you'll crush it!" Adrian responded as he soon left the Champion's tent and headed back to the stands where Jack was sitting with an armful of sweets in hand
"So Jack, you enjoyin' yourself?" Adrian asked the killer loli who was in the middle of munching on a Chocolate Frog
"The first two were pretty boring, but it was pretty funny when the first guy got half his face burnt." Jack answered back as she started eating another while having been marginally entertained by Cedric getting torched by his dragon
"Sorry I missed it and all, but hey at least we get to see Mrs. Potter can do." Adrian spoke as he saw Rose stride out in confidence cracking her neck
With Rose proceeding to go about things like her canon counterpart did in dodging the torrents of dragon fire from the Hungarian Horntail, as well as using powerful Protego spells to try and minimize the flames when she'd hide behind a boulder. Yet things went somewhat different the moment she got onto her broom and began flying onto the roof of Hogwarts where she grabbed an iron rod that was oddly lying about she had in hand while maneuvering throughout the roofs and towers of the castle-like school.
Adrian kept a close watch as Rose used her knowledge of Hogwarts layout to force the dragon to crash into the walls and towers of Hogwarts in order to disorient it, which managed to work as the dragon roared from being tricked and misdirected by the teen witch. Yet when they made another loop back around to where she eventually casted a Lumos Maxima to briefly blind the Hungarian Horntail by having it go off like a flash grenade in the Horntail's eyes, which managed to work as the dragon flailed about and began to wildly breath out flame in an attempt to scorch Rose.
Only for the young witch to jump off her broom and land on the side of its neck to where she took her wand and in a skillful act of transfiguration turned the iron rod in hand into a large chainsaw with teeth that looked like they could cut through steel and glowed with a faint dark crimson hue. Before she revved it and with all her might and channeling as much of her own arcane energies into it as possible; drove the transfigured chainsaw into the neck of the dragon which roared in pain as she jumped down and slid across its neck, using the chainsaw like a zipline to spit the Horntail's neck open.
Blood soon gushed from the massive wound in its neck as the large beast began to dive and then promptly crash into the stadium grounds where it began to hemorrhage out blood, coughing and sputtering out fire as it went into its death throes. All the while Rose then went up the Hungarian Horntail and finished it off by driving the chainsaw into its skull until it stopped thrashing about from having the full length of the chainsaw blade driven through its skull, once that was done and over with Rose tossed her weapon aside and went looking for her objective while covered in blood and gore.
'Definitely didn't see that coming.' Adrian thought to himself in never thinking he'd see Rose do something like that
"That was so cool! Did you see that, she killed it with a chainsaw!" Jack exclaimed in being very much entertained at the fact that she saw a dragon get killed by a chainsaw
"It was definitely awesome that's for sure. Of all the things I thought I'd see, someone killing a dragon with a chainsaw wasn't one of them." Adrian spoke as he was very much impressed and surprised at what Rose pulled off
"Can we go meet her after this?! She looks really cool! Please, please, please!" Jack requested bouncing up and down while Adrian gave her warm smile
"Of course we can. I'm sure she'll love to meet you." Adrian spoke as he saw that after Rose holding up her egg that she received a near perfect score except for Karkaroff who gave her a 7
"Oh fuck you! That was fucking awesome and you goddamn know it, you bearded asshole! I'd like to see you come down here and kill a dragon with a chainsaw!" Rose shouted in putting the egg down to give Karkaroff the double bird in anger of not getting a higher score
"I definitely like her already." Adrian said to himself in liking the fire that he saw in Rose while she walked off elsewhere
(2 days later, Hogwarts, November 27th, 2013, 7:43 Pm)
It was a couple of days later as Rose had decided to take Adrian up on his offer and visit his quarters of where he was staying at, and entered to see him just going at it on a punching bag and Jack watching Digimon Frontier on a modified tablet that Adrian built for her.
"Oh hello, Mrs. Potter. Glad that you decided to drop by." Adrian greeted the young witch while he was in the middle of a combination that transitioned from a right cross and into a shovel hook
"Thank you for inviting me Lord Ravenclaw. Also, I didn't know you knew how to fight..I mean outside of being skilled with magic that is." Rose spoke in being surprised at the skill Adrian showed as he continued to go at it with the punching bag
"Not to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty decent at throwin' hands. Especially since I love boxing so much that I figured why not get good at it. So here I am today." Adrian replied while landing a particularly vicious left jab that punched a hole into the punching bag
With Adrian despite being a rather powerful mage was also a big fan of boxing and out of all the proficiencies gifted to him by his Martial Artist class, he spent the most time working on and perfecting his proficiency in boxing. The Gamer taking inspiration from Roy Jones Jr., Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Connor McGregor, Roberto Duran and Evander Holyfield to make his own personalized boxing style that combined the best attributes of his favorites to create something that would take brute strength, putting constant pressure on an opponent, great footwork to make something truly great.
"Anyways, I'm glad you could come by. Could I get you anything to drink or anything to snack on? You're more than welcome to help yourself." Adrian offered her to more than help herself to what he had on hand
"No thank you, I had plenty to eat after dinner. But thank you." Rose replied as she was plenty full from having ate dinner before coming up here
"Fair enough. So tell me some stuff about yourself, Mrs. Potter? Because I wanna know about you, not as the whole Girl Who Lived nonsense. Just as you are as a person." Adrian said to her in wanting to know about Rose as she was and not the hype that surrounded her
"...Sorry if I'm at a loss for words on what to say. But hardly anyone really asks me of what I actually like, even the people in my own bloody house don't do that much for me." Rose apologized as she didn't know what to come out with since rarely even amongst Hermione and Ron did she get asked on what things she liked
"You're fine. Besides, I'm in no rush to do anything at all. So if anything take a seat and why not get comfortable for awhile. After all, your a guest here." Adrian told her while Rose took a seat on an adjacent chair
"Thank you..Although, one thing I do love that my cousin Dudley would make fun of me for is my love of manga. Since I'm a big fan of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and One Piece." Rose revealed in having been a large fan of manga and in particular those two franchises
"Really now? I didn't know you liked manga." Adrian said while Rose gave a small yet excitable smile
"Its really one of the only things I have that have kept me happy in that hellhole. If it weren't for my secret manga collection that I have to hide from Aunt Petunia, I'd probably go insane from being over there." Rose told him as her love of manga was really the only thing she had that really gave her joy while she was forced to stay at the Dursleys
"I'm guessing its from your love of it that you came up with the idea to use a chainsaw on a dragon. Which by the way was pretty cool." Adrian guessed as to where she would've came up with the tactic against the Horntail
"Yep. They always come up with some wacky and crazy stuff to do against the people they fight. So I figured why not apply it against the big fuck-you dragon, I had to go fight. Besides, no one would've tried; cause for a people that use magic all the time. They really lack in the creativity department." Rose replied as she had got the idea after reading Parts 4 and 5 of Jojo's
With said manga being the reason as to why she rather liked magic and often cursed the fact that she couldn't really do more with it at the moment so that she could try and replicate some of the weird and bizzare shenanigans she'd often read from her favorite manga series, as it was actually thanks to Jojo's that she was able to get out of some of the scrapes she, Ron and Hermione had gotten into over the years.
"You certainly have that right. I mean honestly I'm disappointed in what their teaching you guys here. Because I'm expecting you guys to be learning how to do magic that's balls to wall awesome. On top of being able to make stuff that would have y'all be future alchemists in the making. Instead all there really is, is just middling light shows and shit." Adrian spoke in having his expectations of Hogwarts as a wizarding school to be vastly underwhelming
"I had hoped for the same thing in being able to do all sorts of awesome stuff. Like make huge fireballs, or disintegrate people, or turn stone into gold. Instead I get stuck with a new Dark Arts teacher every year, Snape who hates my guts because I look like my dad, and even worse gives me creeper vibes most of the time. Not to even mention 3 years running I've been in near-death situations. Honestly, at this point I'm surprised my hair hasn't gone grey from how much crap I've gone through" Rose replied in having hoped to learn all sorts of dope magical abilities instead of something lackluster that left her feeling marginally better than when she was at the Dursleys and being in enough life or death situations to last her a lifetime
"...Well maybe I can do something about it. Considering this place was founded by my a thousand time great grandma. That it does fall to me to make sure that this place gets an upgrade. Cuz don't get me wrong I definitely dig the whole castle aesthetic. But other than that...this place is kinda shit and the education y'all get from I seen is even worse." Adrian told her as something he could do for the place to help improve it
With this working out twofold for the Gamer in that one one side of things he could use this to put further pressure on Dumbledore and get him out of his fortress in Hogwarts, and overtime replacing his followers with his own people he could use to turn the castle against him. Not only that but he could actually turn this school which by his standards was severely outdated, into something that would truly be worthy of being called one of the best schools for magical learning in Britain; granted Adrian was evil but even he could see that if things were gonna run smoothly that there had to be a large amount of changes done.
"Could you really make this place better..? I mean I know your a noble lord and all, but as far as I know Dumbledore is pretty much king-shit around here." Rose asked which caused a hearty laugh to escape from the pyromancer
"Oh trust me, I can and will. Because the only reason why he's king around here or pretends to be is that I haven't been around here. However, now that I'm back home. I can finally start making things a whole lot better." Adrian answered back with a wide grin as his mind was already racing with ways on which to make his own little improvements
"Perhaps you could get rid of Snape and get a Potions teacher that doesn't dick over everyone who isn't a Slytherin. Better yet could you possibly get us a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher that's halfway decent and can stick around for more than a year?" Rose requested as a Hogwarts without a Snape and a halfway decent D.A.D.A teacher would be very much welcomed
"I can more than swing that given enough time. Heck, if ya want I can even throw in a manga section to have something to entertain yourself. Cuz I'm pretty sure it beats looking at musty old tomes all year long." Adrian offered which had Rose light up like a Christmas tree at hearing that
"Really? You'd do that?!" Rose asked in excitement of being able to read more manga while at Hogwarts
"Of course as even my daughter Jack here is a fan of some manga you might know about." Adrian answered back as Rose upon hearing that went over to the Assassin of Black
From there it wasn't long before the killer loli and girl who lived began talking about their favorite anime and manga, with Jack gushing about Berserk and Baki the Grappler while Rose did so with Yu Yu Hakusho and One Piece. With Adrian being entertained as the two went on for what would be around 2 or 3 hours of gushing over said subjects, all the while Adrian had finished tinkering with his newest machine to help him track down the horcrux within Hogwarts's walls.
'Nice to see that those two are having a good time.' Adrian thought as both Jack and Rose continued to gush over their favorite anime and manga
(12:25 Am, Hogwarts, November 27th, 2013, 4 hours, later)
It would be well into the night as Adrian had decided to put the device he built to track down Horcruxes to good use and find Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem and add it too his collection, from there he'd figure he would probably go by the Chamber of Secrets and get the Basilisk corpse that resided there. Since he figured that while he was here he might as well acquire it for all it was worth.
"I wonder what to do after all of this?" Adrian pondered to himself as he continued towards the path of the Diadem
'Perhaps give Volcanic Lord a break and start on Storm Mage. Since leveling Necromancer and that in tandem would be pretty dope.' Adrian thought to himself as he felt that he was high enough in Volcanic Lord that he start focusing on Storm Mage class and further give himself options in the arcane department of things
"What do we have he…." Peeves tried to say before Adrian's hand caught him by the neck
"Oh goodie I've been meaning to talk with you about something. Especially, since you've been living here rent free for way,way WAY too long in my opinion." Adrian spoke to the poltergeist who struggled in his grip while his now glowing absinthe green eyes locked onto the spirit
"Let me go, or I'll make you sorry you ever messed with Peeves the Poltergeist! I'll make sure that you'll get pranked for the rest of your natural and unnatural life if you don't let me go!" Peeves demanded while trying to get out of Adrian's grip and all the while failing as Adrian used a steady stream of magic to prevent the poltergeist from escaping
"Nope! Besides, I have a counter offer instead. First off you don't mention that I'm wandering around here. Second of all, and I can't make this clear enough. Rose Potter from here on out is off limits. Otherwise I'll make sure you're more or less evicted." Adrian told the poltergeist who still struggled in Adrian's grip all the while a confident and smug smile was on his phantasmal form
"What are ya gonna do to make me?! As you can't get rid of me, everyone else has tried for centuries and yet no one can get rid of my awesomeness! So what makes you think that you can get rid of me, and even tell me what the fuck to do?" Peeves questioned confident in the fact that he was practically damn near impossible to get rid of, all the while Adrian just gave a malevolent grin while he deployed one of his machines with let out a faint pulse of lime green energy
"I'm glad you asked. Because now I get to try out something on you that I've been dying to see if it works." Adrian replied as his hands began to surge with holy magic
That in mind he began to force a considerable amount of said magic into Peeves's form which caused the poltergeist's grinning and smug expression to soon become one wracked with pain and soon began to scream in pain as he felt it eat away at him. The holy magic soon made itself physically present on Peeves's ghastly form via vein like cracks of glowing lime green that began to spread like a virus and widen, with Adrian being quite happy at testing out his theory on if White Magic could affect spirits such as a poltergeist.
With Adrian letting this continue onwards for around a minute or two before releasing the poltergeist who was currently bleeding ectoplasm from having had a constant stream of holy magic forced into him, all the while Adrian was both happy that his tactic worked and that his machine had been producing a sound dampening field.
"What... in the bloody... hell did you do to me?" Peeves questioned his voice hoarse from having been damaged as he was as ectoplasm leaked from his mouth, nose, and eyes
"Simple, that was me showing that I can actually hurt you. Because I want to make it perfectly clear that you are in my house. As such you do whatever the hell I tell you too. So when I tell you that Rose Potter is off-limits, you do not fuck with her in any capacity. When I tell you that you do not say shit about what I do tonight, your mouth stays shut." Adrian answered back his eyes glowing a bright lime green as he got front and center with the poultergeist who actually felt fear and terror invade his phantasmal form as he almost felt paralyzed and locked into place
"Otherwise I will make good on my promise to evict you from it. Or at the very least make sure you regret your current afterlife and wish you could die. Do I make myself clear Peeves, or do you need a reminder of where you stand right now? Because that can be more than arranged." Adrian asked as he seemed to cast a massive shadow over the poltergeist who felt a massive amount of heat and pressure surround and envelope him as though he were inside a gigantic furnace
"C-C-Crystal. I swear not to even go near the Potter girl at all. J-Just don't do whatever the fucking hell that was, you just did!" Peeves replied haggardly and afraid of Adrian fucking him up with holy magic again
"Good. Now then, make like Michael Jackson and beat it!" Adrian ordered as the Poltergeist wisely got out of Adrian's sight

"Good to see that he knows his place in the pecking order." Adrian said as he recalled his machine to his side before continuing on his way
With it being what felt like hours before his Horcrux locator soon led him to the location of where Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem was within the Room of Requirement, from there it didn't take him long to find where the diadem was located. The Gamer soon taking the silver diadem that had multiple sapphires inlaid into it, into his hands and immediately sent a continuous stream of holy magic into it that caused a high-pitched screeching noise and onyx colored smoke to erupt from it as the soul shard of Voldemort was soon burnt out of it.
This continued onwards for what felt was nearly an hour until the soul shard was soon destroyed; leaving a smoking diadem of Rowena Ravenclaw in his hands that he soon pocketed in his inventory to see what to do with later on. So with a Horcrux destroyed and his ancestor's relic recovered he decided to hit up the Chamber of Secrets which was far easier to track down and get into, only taking a fraction of the time to get there and slide his way down into the depths of where it was located.
Yet when it came to enter the Chamber of Secrets it presented something of a difficulty to him, considering that he wasn't a Parseltongue and as such could speak the password to enter into it and get what he desired. So he decided to do the next best thing that came to mind and bombard it with Fireballs and blast his way through, which just as one would expect work as in the span of a few moments he had exploded his way through the stone barrier and into the Chamber of Secrets.
"Man this place has seen better days." Adrian said to himself as he looked at the rather decrepit Chamber
What the hell were you expecting? This place hasn't been touched in over 2 years, moreso even had anything done to it in 50+ years.
"Fair point. Anyways, I might as well get to work on taking what I came here for." Adrian replied with a shrug as he went over to the still intact corpse of the Basilisk
So with that in mind Adrian went over to the Basilisk corpse and to put simply had gone and put it into his inventory which went off without a hitch, as the Gamer could only grin madly at all of the stuff he could do with the basilisk. From making all sorts of poisons once he started going into Alchemist, to making scale mail and other forms of armor from it and its bones and using its teeth for the eventual creation of something he wanted to build since getting here.
From there he went out of the Chamber of Secrets and clambered out of the bathroom as he returned to his room with a quickness, where he arrived to see Jack still up playing Pokemon in her pajamas as though nothing happened.
"Where did you go?" Jack asked as Adrian stretched himself out
"Just exploring this place is all. I mean I do sort of own it, so it just made sense for me to see some of what this place was about?" Adrian answered while Jack was busy trying to beat the 6th Gym Leader
"Ok. We didn't tell us where you went, and we thought something happened to you." Jack replied in having thought that something happened to her master in the time he'd been gone
"Don't worry Jack, there's not all that much that can really bother me all that much. So you've got nothing to worry about. Although I'm sorry I didn't tell you where I was going." Adrian said while apologizing to the killer loli
"Its fine, just please tell us where you'll go next time." Jack requested in simply wanting to know where her master would go before he'd leave
"I'll be sure to do that. Anywho, we'll be staying here for another day or two before heading out." Adrian told her as he wanted to do one small thing first before they left
"Ok. We can't wait to get back home, other than watching the task a few days ago. Its been really boring here." Jack replied in otherwise finding Hogwarts to be pretty boring
"Trust me I know. But don't worry, you won't be waiting here any longer." Adrian told the Assassin of Black as he proceeded to go ahead and turn in for the night
(The next night, November 28th, 2013, 9:30 Pm, The Forbidden Forest)
It was soon half past 9 at night as Adrian stood at the entrance into the Forbidden Forest deciding that now would be as good a time as any to get to work on leveling his Necromancy class and getting into his Storm Mage one as well.
"Before I get started. Time to finally get into being a Storm Mage." Adrian said to himself as he unequipped his Volcanic Lord class as his primary one and selected Storm Mage

With the power of a Storm Mage you now gain the power to control lightning, thunder and winds to devastate your enemies. As a Storm Mage you'll be calling down lightning bolts, tornadoes and even sandstorms to obliterate your enemies. Once this class has been completed you'll be nothing short of a walking natural disaster.

Wind Lash
MP Cost: 450 per 10 seconds
Range: 30 feet
Description: You send out a whip-like blast of wind to slam into your enemies and take the proverbial wind out of their sails. This deals (INT * 1.5) bludgeoning damage and must make a Dexterity saving throw against your INT or be knocked prone.
Lightning Lure
MP Cost: 500
Range: 15 feet
Description: You send out a surge of electrical energy to not only electrocute an enemy, but reel them in closer for a follow up attack. The target must make a Strength saving throw against your INT, if they fail they 320+INT Lightning Damage or half as much on a successful save. In addition when they fail the save they are pulled 10 feet closer to you.
Lance of Lightning
MP Cost: 540
Range: 30 feet
Description: You channel the fierce energy of a storm into a crackling lance of lightning for you to throw at your enemies. This attack deals 480+INT Lightning Damage to a target.
"Well then, looks like I'm gonna have a lot of fun tonight." Adrian said to himself with one hand being arcane lightning and the other was the greenish black of necrotic energy
That in mind Adrian rushed into the forest like a bat out of hell with a large grin on his face as he soon encountered a group of Acromantula who before they could even make a single noise he summoned forth a Lance of Lightning. The crackling lance of harlequin green landed itself as a critical hit in the form of spearing right through the wolf-sized spider, causing the other 4 to rush after a grinning Adrian who unleashed a gatling-gun like storm of Ray of Death spells that had a mass of greenish black beams of necrotic energy lance out at them.
The swarm of necrotic energy struck down the large arachnids to the point of which they became nothing more than shriveled up corpses, from there he continued onwards in striking down any Acromantula, Dire Wolves, and Trolls with the combination of his necromantic and storm magic spells. With flashes of bright green lightning up the forest as the smell of decay and ozone from the continuous releasing of his spells against the various creatures of the forest, that had a large amount of delight spread across his face in doing so.
With him taking dark joy in sneaking up on an unsuspecting troll that was wandering through the night and using Lightning Lure to reel it in closer to him so that he could jump up onto it and pummel it to a bloody pulp with his bare hands. Then destroying a group of dire wolves with a continuous stream of Ray of Death spells from 60 feet away in the cover of a towering maple tree that reduced the full lot of them to rotting corpses that he stowed away in his inventory to be turned into undead, yet the ones that tried to get away he chased after and impaled with a Lance of Lightning through the neck.
'I swear this has to be the most fun I've had here yet.' Adrian thought to himself with a wide smirk
"Hopefully there would be somethin' in this god-forsaken forest that'll give me an actual fucking fight." Adrian hoped as he rammed a Hammer Arm through the skull of a Dire Wolf and watched it caved in form slump to the ground
That out of the way Adrian continued to go through the Forbidden Forest where throughout his testing out more of how he could use his powers, with him using Lightning Lure to drop trees on unsuspecting Acromantula and Dire Wolves to squash them. Or use a Chill Touch to choke out other such creatures to a rotting and bloody pulp, during all of this he also had sent out some Surveillance Drones to spread out and go about the Forbidden Forest; this way he have them search out strong monsters for him to kill at a future date.
With it being nearly an hour of almost non-stop killing of the creatures in his way that he soon found himself bored of it all, and so after reaching Level 12 of Storm Mage and Level 10 of Necromancer that he decided to call it quits for tonight. So not really wanting to waste his time further after getting to a sufficient level in both of his classes, the fallen angel of a Gamer soon unleashed a single pair of his large wings and decided to fly high into the sky where no one could see him amidst the clouds.
'Now that I've got Necromancer and Storm Mage up to speed there's really a few things left to do.' Adrian thought to himself as he flew through the night
"First off get started on building up an undead army to make into cyborgs. From there start finding some strong monsters and such to give me an actual challenge around here." Adrian said to himself in the checklist of what he had to put on the checklist of things to do
Unknown to him to him two figures in the form of Bane and Firenze who had saw and bore witness to his massacre in order to test his abilities saw the mage fly up and away in having grown bored.
"What do you we do about this one Bane? You felt the power he wields this night?" Firenze questioned on what should be done about Adrian
"For now we do nothing but wait and watch, Firenze. The power that he wields is just the start of something greater, with Aires and Sagittarius in alignment the moment he decided to have his 'fun' in our forests showed me this." Bane answered back in having noted that with the way the stars had aligned themselves that what Adrian had done and was capable of was just the mere beginnings of his destructive power
"Do we wait for now and warn the others of him?" Firenze asked as his fellow centaur nodded
"That is a wise idea. We do not know the full extent of his power or if he will one day turn his destructive might upon us, for his own amusement. The only thing we can do is warn the others of what we witnessed. Then prepare in case he decides to have his 'fun' on our people." Bane told him as to what was the best course of action
"Perhaps, we can come to an accord with him to leave us out of his fun so to speak." Firenze suggested but his black-haired compatriot merely scoffed at the idea
"Unlike Albus or that Potter girl you saved years ago, this is not someone who can be reasoned with. From what we've seen this night, he seems more like a force of nature than an actual person. Uncaring and unstoppable in what it desires, so until we are better prepared no one deals with the human...Now come, we must warn our people about the newest danger to us all." Bane responded in wariness of Adrian and all of what he could possibly do to them as Firenze only nodded and the two galloped away into the night to warn the other centaurs about the pyromancer
So with the 1st Task of the Triwizard Tournament done and over with as well as having gotten to know Rose Potter a bit better and get what he came for from Hogwarts, things are looking quite well for the Gamer. But how will things continue further down the line? Find all that out and more in the new chapters of A Gamer among Monsters.
Now then onto some of the reviews from the last chapter.
TheCuriousGuest: Thanks for the well wishes my dude, I appreciate it. Well, the fact that Snape is such a massive fear to Neville is gonna play a major part in why he and the Longbottom's won't be staying in Britain for too long. Not to mention that Jack is definitely gonna go grave robbing so he can have a robo-zombie army. Good idea on Rita finding out the hidden secret between Dumbledore and Grindelwald as that and a little something else I've got in mind will serve as more than large enough nails in his coffin. Also clearing Sirius's name is gonna happen eventually because oh boy is it gonna help things out in the long run and further mess things up for Fudge and Dumbledore who more than have it coming. Glad you like the idea of an Elder-Lich Rowena considering that it makes the most sense that someone who focuses so much on gaining knowledge would become one for the sake of acquiring more to unlock all the arcane secrets of the world she can get her hands on. Yeah the moment Jack and Rose actually start bonding together, then Rose has no real chance against the 'innocent' loli.
dmcdragonknight: Glad you like the whole dynamic with Jack and Adrian as I figured that it would be nice to build a father/daughter thing between them and it won't go much further than that as at this point it'd be kind of weird to do so. Furthermore after this and him finishing the 2nd half of Rosario Vampire's 1st part then Akame Ga kill will be next up on the list.
OeschnerC: Glad you liked the reference and all that. Not to mention that he will eventually get new summons as the next major summon that he'll be using in the future that will make sense will probably be Olga from Kuroinu. Highschool DXD is something that will happen a lot later down the line. With the other anime's all be crossing over into are Akame Ga Kill, Bleach and Naruto.
Mckenray: It won't really take Jack all that much to convert Rose onto her side seeing as how her nerves are already fried from so much crap she's had to go through, so its really a matter of if than when she'll get turned over.
Thedarkness1996: The idea of Adrian being in the Supernatural universe is something I've been considering seeing that he could do a lot of damage and fuck with canon massively as he is. Not to mention that with the archangels about he can really roid himself out on angel power if he wanted to.
alphaprince0: The thing about Semiraimis is that while she's a possibility that I'd like to have as another companion. Also, realize that she's just as much of a conniving danger considering that she's the type of servant you'd have to keep a tight leash on since she'll stab you in the back the moment she realizes she can get one up on you. Also on the Rinnegan and Senjutsu, I'm holding off on all that at the moment until I get to the Narutoverse in order to consider having it.
That takes care of that as I hoped that y'all enjoyed this chapter and everything that went along with it, yet without further delay let's get into it now shall we.
First up we've got a condensed version of the 1st task and all that jazz which I hoped y'all liked and the version of which Rose took down the Hungarian Horntail.
Next up is Adrian just getting to know Rose a bit more and what she's all about and something that's gonna come into play with his position as Lord Ravenclaw at a later date.
Following that up there's Adrian getting rid of another Horcrux and taking the Basilisk corpse for himself. Furthermore I'd like any help with coming up with ideas on what Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem and Salazar Slytherin's Locket could do in terms of item abilities if anyone would be down with that.
Lastly is a short bit of Adrian busting out his Storm Mage and Necromancer abilities against some of the creatures within the Forbidden Forest and not much else besides that.
All that being said please favorite, follow, review and share this story out as much as possible. And flames for the most part will be ignored because at the point you're mainly wasting mine and everyone's time. Other than that constructive criticism and ideas on how to improve things are welcome.
