Being on the roof of a house, Isuka looked around, in order to find Ace.

"Where is he? Where is that damned pirate?"

Not seeing him anywhere, she groaned, before jumping on another roof, in order to obtain another point of view.

"You won't be angry! No criminal will leave this island as long as I'm here to defend it! I represent the justice of this island."

" Are you stupid? If what you say is true, would you insist on focusing on a pirate who came here to eat, rather than a man who enjoys killing people? Tsss, justice of the Navy really isn't worth anything anymore. "

Pausing, thinking back to Ace's words, Isuka tightened her grip on the hilt of her sword.

"Who does this pirate think he is? My justice is worthless? Nonsense! I help the Berkam-san's justice! His justice is ... it is..."

Suddenly silent, Isuka remembered a memory, when she was a simple recruit in the Navy.

"No alcohol?" Asked Berkam.

" I… I don't like it. " Isuka affirmed, a little ashamed.

Simply laughing, Berkam patted her back and nearly knocked her out of her glass. Then, drinking part of his mug of beer, he remained silent for a few seconds. Seeing him thinking, Isuka questioned him.

" Berkam-san ? "

"Isuka…how did you feel stopping that pirate?"

"How so ? "

"Pirates are the criminals of this world." Isuka assured. "They only think about looting, killing, stealing... In truth, I admire what Akainu-san says about them."

Standing still, staring at his tattoo, a man ends up opening his eyes wide, before taking a step back.

" Whi ... White ... WHITEBEARD ? "

"Do you understand who I am?" Ace asked, with a big smile.

"He...He's bluffing." someone retorted. "There's no way Whitebeard's crew would decide to interfere in our affairs."

"No, I recognize him! It's Ace."

"WHAT? Ace...Whitebeard's second in command! Damn it, why is a pirate like him on this island."

"Bitch! I bet you're here because Whitebeard wants to get our drugs."

"Drugs?"

Pulling up his hat with his finger, Ace stared at the small group, before asking.

"Are you smugglers? Perfect! In that case, here's what's going to happen: I'm going to ask you some questions, you're going to answer me, and then you'll let yourself be captured by the Navy."

"You make money at the expense of the lives of the people who buy your drugs! There's no way I'm letting you continue your little business."

"Dumbass." One of his comrades roared. "You don't stand a chance."

Too late. Raising his sword, the dealer tried to decapitate Ace. Unfortunately, covering his upper torso with flames, Ace smiled at the man, before getting into a fighting stance.

Being still on a roof, Isuka saw a new corpse, in an alley below.

"DAMN IT! Damn Ace! He will pay for his crimes! Yes, he will."

Continuing to jump from roof to roof, she declared.

"Even if I have no proof, I know that it was he who killed them! That is obvious."

However, again, she stilled, thinking of a memory.

" BAKAYARO !"

Turning around, while she was training, Isuka saw Berkam in front of a corporal, while the commodore seemed to be angry.

"He tried to run away and his wife wanted to stop me from killing him! So, I got rid of her! And as Akainu-san says, a child is bound to become like its parents! That I killed their two children, to keep them from becoming enemies of the Navy.

Smiling, he said.

"If I did this...it was for justice."

" Justice ? "

"Yes, that's it! I killed them for justice."

Immediately, he felt strangled, as Berkam's huge hand gripped the back of his neck. Using one hand, the commodore lifted him off the ground, as he roared.

"Motherfucker, I forbid you to utter that word! What you did was the opposite of justice."

Feeling like his throat was crushed, Ido could only wiggle his legs in a vacuum, unable to free himself.

"A vigilante who kills innocent people? That does not exist! What you have done is nothing but murder! And the worst thing is that by killing all these people, by being dressed in your uniform, you have sullied the honor of all the soldiers of the Navy, who have sacrificed their lives to allow the maintenance of true justice! You are the shame of the Navy."

Then, finally, he threw Ido to the ground, before affirming.

"Ido... I'm arresting you for murder, filthy murderer."

Growling, Isuka affirmed.

"Even though I don't have proof...I know I'm right! Who else but this pirate could kill all these people?"

Suddenly, Isuka saw a column of fire coming from another alley. At first surprised, she ended up rushing towards the attack, knowing perfectly well what she was going to find.

" PORTGAS D. ACE ! "

Unable to control his body or think properly, Berkam walked down a new alley. Having foam dripping from his mouth, he eventually made his way to a trash can. With a punch, he pulverized it, before watching the contents fall at his feet. Seeing nothing resembling Cezare, he roared with rage.

"Please go home peacefully."

Hearing a voice, Berkam moved. Then, finally, he arrived in front of a market square, where soldiers were ordering civilians to go home.

"I repeat: an unidentified ship has been spotted off the coast of the island! For your safety, please return home and let the Navy sort this out! I promise you it won't last long."

Unhappy with this news, the civilians nevertheless ended up complying. Seeing them leave the place, a soldier affirmed.

"At least the evacuation is going smoothly."

Suddenly, hearing a noise above his head, he jumped to the side, to avoid the blade of a saber. Feeling her weapon hit the ground, Isuka turned to Ace.

"Again you ? You're as glue."

Showing a mocking smile, he gave her a wink, before asking her.

"Are you stalking me because my charm had an effect on you?"

"SHUT UP, asshole! I already told you! I'm going to capture you."

"What? Do you want to send me to prison again? Please leave me alone! I don't want to cause any trouble here."

"Even if that were the case, you know very well that it is impossible! Because, as long as I wear this uniform and you are a pirate, we will be enemies."

"Ber...Berkam-san?" Isuka wondered, blushing in shame.

"The rank of lieutenant is insignificant." The man affirmed. "In the Navy, he's worth almost nothing! You can almost compare it to the fact that the Admirals decided to reward your efforts by giving you a candy."

"But...that lieutenant title...it was my dream."

" Your dream ? "

"Yes! You are a commodore! Which makes you the highest ranking man on this island! Your presence alone is enough to protect this island! Lieutenant rank is the highest I can get! If I become Captain, Navy HQ will force me to leave this island and put me in charge of another place! And I don't want to! I want to stay here."

Hearing this, Berkam growled.
