Standing up, Aokiji cracked the muscles in his neck, while declaring.

"Eventually, you might be even more dangerous than I thought."

"You took it out on our friends." Luffy retorted, "So you're going to suffer the consequences."

" You decide to fight me just because I wanted to kill Nico Robin? " Aokiji questioned him. "Honestly, don't you think that's stupid? Why would you want to protect a woman like her? She doesn't deserve it."

Then, looking at the pirates in front of him, he ends up turning his gaze to Bruno.

"You seem to be the only one with seastone on you! Therefore, I only have to neutralize you to win this fight! ICE BIRD !"

Creating chunks of ice in his hand, the admiral threw them at Bruno. Magnifying, the chunks of ice took on the appearance of birds, which flew towards their target.

" ZIP ! "

Throwing a zipper open in the ground, Bruno jumped into the newly created hole, which allowed him to avoid.

"Huh?" Aokiji wondered, seeing him disappear into the ground.

Then the other pirates started running towards him.

" Above all, he must not know Bruno's position. " Sanji affirmed. "Our only chance of defeating him is to neutralize him with the seastone."

Then, he jumped in the air, before performing several pirouettes.

" CONCASSE! "

" 108 KLESHA SLASH! " Zoro shouted, creating several slicing winds.

Seeing Zoro's attack flying towards him, Aokiji created a wall of ice in front of him.

" ICE WALL ! "

Slamming into its wall, Zoro's attacks were stopped short, barely managing to crack its surface.

"Is this a joke?"

The next moment, Sanji's foot slammed into the top of Aokiji's head, creating a powerful impact. Neck pulverized, Aokiji's head began to deform, before being pulverized into chunks of ice.

Unfortunately, it was too late for Sanji to see Aokiji's arm move and grab his leg.

" What ? "

Then, the cook began to scream, while ice began to cover his leg.

"AHHHHHHHHH!" He yelled, feeling the intense cold start to burn his leg.

"You're next." Aokiji asserted, as he wanted to freeze his body.

Nevertheless, a tonfa hit his left side hard, shattering much of his body, including the arm that held Sanji's leg.

"The cook isn't the only one fighting you." Gin asserted, backing away almost immediately.

Thus, he gave way to Velvet, who made blades appear at the end of her boots.

" IMPULSE DESIRE ! "

Slicing through Aokiji's chest, the demon attempted to mortally wound him. Unfortunately, while reforming his body, the Admiral had created an ice sword that had managed to block one of Velvet's blades.

"You can never defeat me this way." The man affirmed, with a stoic look.

Nevertheless, he showed some astonishment, seeing a sphere appear in the palm of her demonic hand. Then, without waiting, Velvet slammed the sphere against Aokiji's abdomen. In an instant, the sphere exploded and released a large amount of black flames, which covered the Admiral's body.

Grimacing in pain, the man took a step back, as his body began to melt.

"Great! He really doesn't like fire." Yosaku remarked.

Hearing this, Menma let flames appear in her hands.

" PYRO BALL ! "

Still covered in black flames, Aokiji was suddenly hit by a new sphere of fire. Seeing him retreat further, Menma decided to attack him again.

" PYRO BALL ! "

Nonetheless, looking annoyed at being a target, Aokiji opened his eyes, before taking a deep breath.

" ICE BREATH ! "

Blowing a veritable icy mist out of his mouth, the Admiral let his breath touch Menma's fiery sphere and freeze it entirely.

"What?" The child wondered. "He froze my flames."

Finally, feeling the black flames disappear, Aokiji looked at the pirates in front of him more seriously.

"Honestly, I'm glad none of you know how to use haki! It could have gotten problematic."

In response, a sandstorm hit the area.

"It doesn't matter if we know how to use haki or not." Lucy affirmed, while Scorpio was next to her. "We're going to force you to turn into ice so many times that you'll end up completely exhausted."

Bothered by the sand, Aokiji found himself in the center of the sandstorm. And behind him, a zipper appeared in the ground, while Bruno exited. Arm already raised, he aimed his seastone stake at Aokiji's back, ready to drive his weapon into his flesh.

" Checkmate. "

Then, running through the sandstorm, Wiper had dropped his bazooka, as he reached for Aokiji.

" REJECT !"

"Damn it." Said the admiral, while understanding the duo's plan.

At that moment, a sound of impact was heard through the sandstorm, while a shock wave made the sand disappear. Startled, the pirates saw the silhouette of Aokiji who was still standing. Unfortunately, behind him, Bruno now had his face flattened against the ground. Stunned, the man had been punched by Shizuo, while his fist had violently struck the back of his skull.

"Your plan was too predictable." The blond asserted, bending down.

Seeing that Bruno had dropped his seastone stake, Shizuo picked it up before putting the object in his pants pocket.

"I confiscate it from you."

For his part, having remained still, Aokiji only stared at Wiper, who was still in front of him. However, having been touched by Aokiji's hand, the shandian now had the entire right side of his body completely frozen.

"Wh…What?" Wiper wondered, unable to make a move.

"BRUNO! WIPER!" Luffy shouted, running towards Shizuo, before extending his arm. " BULLET !"

Unfortunately, moving in front of his teammate, Aokiji let Luffy's fist hit him in the abdomen. And no sooner did Luffy's hand touch it than she froze.

" ICE AGE ! "

Immediately, the ice started moving and completely covered Luffy's arm.

"AHHHHHHH!" The captain shouted, trying in vain to unhook his arm from Aokiji's abdomen.

"Goodbye, Mugiwara."

However, to his surprise, the ice stopped covering Luffy's arm and even started to melt.

"Huh?" The admiral wondered.

Suddenly, feeling a bead of sweat appear on his face, the Admiral felt like a wave of heat enveloped the area.

"What's going on?" He asked, looking up.

It was then that he saw hundreds of red spheres in the sky, which formed a mass just above him. It being away from the combat zone, Nami had taken advantage of the sandstorm to start creating hot-balls, in order to warm the air around Aokiji. Smiling now, she declared.

"The air around us is way too hot for you to use your attacks! Sorry, but you lost."

"Really?" Aokiji questioned.

The seer put on a stoic face, Gin looked towards Shizuo.

"This guy...he managed to steal our one chance to hurt this guy."

Spinning his tonfas, Gin targeted Shizuo.

"You're going to give us back our seastone."

Dodging his attacks, Shizuo began to walk backwards as he retorted.

"I'd rather we could settle this thing without any violence."

"Give us back what you stole from us."

" That's not going to be possible. " Shizuo retorted.

" HOPPER ! "

" Huh ? "

Turning around, Shizuo saw Bellamy lean on the trunk of a tree before propelling himself towards him.

"I have you." He assured.

However, remaining calm, Shizuo only saw a slight stoop. Thus, he suddenly heard a double impact noise, while Gin's tonfa hit Bellamy's face, who punched Gin himself. Struck, the duo backed off, before getting angry.

"ASSHOLE!" Gin roared. "Can't you watch what you're doing?"

"What? It's your fault asshole! You just had to immobilize this guy."

"Hey, guys." Shizuo called to them, starting to roll up his sleeves. "If you want to fight, that's okay! But, please, at least make it look like a real fight! We're not in the circus."

pissed off by his words, Gin and Bellamy rushed over to him.

"You're a dead man."

Seeing them running in his direction, Shizuo disappeared the moment they hit him.

" What ? "

With only a single jump, Shizuo found himself right on top of them. Then, as he dropped back, he gripped both Gin and Bellamy's heads between his fingers, before violently smashing them against the floor. Feeling their skulls crack, the pair spat blood as they lay on the ground.

Seeing them passed out, Shizuo started to straighten up, as he affirmed.

"As I just told you, a fight has nothing to do with the circus festival."

However, a hand grabbed his arm and the man looked surprised to see Gin staring at him. Despite the trickle of blood that was now running down his face, the man began to smile at him, while he assured.

"I know! And now I'm going to teach you what a fight to the death is."

And before Shizuo could react, Gin's tonfa hit him in the face. Feeling his sunglasses shatter as he lost his cigarette, the blond was ejected backwards, before collapsing to the ground.

"Shizuo?" Aokiji wondered, seeing him on the ground.

Getting to his feet, Gin wiping the blood from his face as he declared.

"I'm used to getting hit! So smashing into the ground isn't going to make me give up."

Still, he was surprised when he heard Aokiji sigh.

"You better stay on the ground."

And before Gin could understand his words, he saw Shizuo get back to his feet. Also having a trickle of blood running down his face, Shizuo began to breathe heavily. Then, looking up, he broke into a creepy smile as he took over.

" You will die. "

Then, stretching out his arm, he let his fingers grip the trunk of a tree. Hearing creaking noises, Gin's eyes widened, seeing the man uproot the tree entirely and lift it above him.

"Oye! Is this a joke?"

Forgetting all thoughts of non-violence, Shizuo used the tree to hit Gin. Jumping to the side, Gin dodged the first strike. Nevertheless, performing a hip movement, Shizuo performed a horizontal strike, which managed to crash into Gin and eject him away.

The impact was so powerful that Gin dropped his weapons as he slammed into the ground. Rushing towards him again, Shizuo wanted to hit him again to finish him off. Nevertheless, a blade passed close to his face and Shizuo was forced to let go of his tree trunk, in order to jump back.

Becoming Zoro's target, the tree was sliced into slices. Then, aiming one of his sabers at the blonde, the swordsman asserted.

"I advise you to stay calm and give us back what you know."

For answer, Shizuo rushed to the forest and hid among the trees.

" Huh? " Zoro wondered, before following him.

However, he stopped as he saw a tree fly over the forest, before falling back towards him. Pulling out one of his sabers, the swordsman sliced it to stop it. But immediately, other trees were uprooted and thrown towards the swordsman.

A veritable deluge of tree trunks were uprooted from the forest and thrown towards Zoro. Slicing them as he could Zoro retorted.

"Even if you throw ten or a hundred trees at me, I'd be able to cut them all down."

However, a projectile similar to a rifle cartridge suddenly hit him in the abdomen causing him to cough up blood. And before he could pull himself together, trees fell on him.

"ANIKI!" Frightened Johnny and Yosaku running towards him.

Nevertheless, new projectiles were launched in their direction, forcing them to retreat.

" What is this ? "

For all answer, Shizuo came out of the forest, with a tree trunk in one hand and pebbles in the other.

"Sometimes brute force can trump any strategy," he stated, throwing his pebbles at the pair.

Seeing the pebbles target them and reach a velocity similar to revolver bullets, Johnny positioned his dial towards them.

" AXE DIAL ! "

Being cut, the pebbles fell to the ground and Johnny took the opportunity to target Shizuo.

" AXE DIAL ! "

Unfortunately, running towards him, Shizuo took a single step to the side to avoid his attack, before twirling his tree trunk between his hands. Only able to show fear on his face, Johnny saw the tree trunk lift into the sky, before lowering itself in his direction.

" PYRO CLAWS ! "

Hitting the tree trunk with her flame-covered talons, Menma managed to pulverize it.

"Huh?" Shizuo wondered.

Then, he was forced to jump backwards to avoid Yosaku's sword.

"We have to stop him from going back into the forest! If we go after him, we'll get him eventually."

"YEAH!" Menma and Johnny assured.

Surrounding Shizuo, the trio began to attack him from several directions, forcing him to go on the defensive, in order to dodge their attacks.

Seeing his partner starting to get into trouble, Aokiji heaved a weary sigh.

"Finally, I should never have come to this island! This mission is even more tiring than I thought."

" You better concentrate on your fight against us. " Velvet retorted, while beads of sweat were visible on her face.

"Now that it's as hot as a sauna, you don't stand a chance against us." Raynare assured.

Indeed, as Nami continued to create hot balls, this area of the island became increasingly hotter. Even the ice that froze the sea near the shore was beginning to melt.

Quickly, Sanji had regained the use of his leg, while Wiper felt the right side of his body begin to thaw.

"Now, there's not the slightest chance that your ice will have any effect on us." Nami assured. "Even if you try to freeze us, it will only take us a few seconds to melt your ice."

"Really? Then let me prove you wrong."

Then, the man surprised everyone by putting his hands on the floor. And before anyone could react, ice appeared around him, before freezing the entire area.

Paralyzed, Nami was both frozen by the cold and paralyzed with fear. In an instant, he was so cold in the area that all of his hot balls had frozen before being destroyed by the cold.

" Impossible. "

" Nice try. " Aokiji assured. "Even know that my ice is even capable of freezing magma for a while."

Then, creating two needles of ice in his hands, he threw them and let them crash into Raynare and Velvet.

" What is ... ? "

And before any of them could defend themselves, the ice began to cover their bodies, before freezing them entirely. Looking wide, Luffy had seen the two women stop moving before being transformed into a statue of ice.

"Raynare...Velvet..."

"Do you understand, Mugiwara?" Aokiji questioned, walking in his direction. "Just to save a woman convicted of various crimes, you foolishly sacrificed your crew! Is that really the role of a captain?"

" SAND BLAST ! "

Suddenly, Scorpio targeted him with a sandblast. Unfortunately, making a quick move with his arm, Aokiji created a veritable wave of ice that froze Scorpio's attack, as well as Lucy's entire spirit body.

" SCORPIO ! "

"Now all I have to do is kill you all." Aokiji assured.

" GUM GUM ... "

Showing rage on his face, Luffy retorted.

"I won't let you hurt my friends! BAZOOKA !"

Getting punched in the abdomen, Aokiji felt his body being shattered into chunks of ice again. However, seeming to be able to move around in this frozen area, his body reappeared and began to rebuild right behind Nami.

Sensing his presence, Nami turned and started to back away, while fear was visible on her face.

"How... How can we beat a man like him?"

"That's impossible." Aokiji replied simply, pointing his hand in her direction. "Now let me end your suffering."

However, to his surprise, he found himself completely paralyzed.

" What ? "

Staring at him, Hatterene was the one who had just stopped him, while her eyes had turned blue.

Hatterene use PHYCHIC.

Taking advantage of this, Eevee and Boufallant rushed towards Aokiji.

Boufallant use WILD CHARGE.

Eevee use QUICK ATTACK.

Hitting Aokiji at the same time, the two pokemons once again destroyed his body. Unfortunately, this had little effect, as several pieces of ice took on the appearance of Aokiji's arms, as the man wrapped them around the body of the two pokemons.

" ICE AGE ! "

Can only watch him do it, Luffy saw him transform Boufallant and Eevee into ice statues. Even having attacked his together, his crew was being decimated.

" S... STOP ! "

" JOHNNY ! "

Having managed to grab Johnny's head, Shizuo gave him a powerful punch that crushed his face.

"ASSHOLE!" Yosaku roared, pointing his hand at him. " FLASH... "

Not even having time to launch his attack, Yosaku felt Shizuo's fist hit him in the chest, knocking his breath away.

Seeing the two men fall to the ground, Shizuo then turned to Menma and lifted his foot in her direction. Crossing her arms in front of her, the child tried to block his kick. Unfortunately, using a powerful devastating power, Shizuo managed to cause a crack on impact, as Menma's body flew backwards, before crashing into a tree.

"ARGGGGHHH!" she cried, before collapsing to the ground.

"STOP!" Luffy repeated.

Hatterene use PSYCHIC.

Using her telekinetic powers again, Hatterene wanted to stop Aokiji a second time. However, no longer surprised by this, Aokiji only huffed in her direction.

" ICE BREATH ! "

Touched in her face with her breath, Hatterene felt frost cover her eyes.

"HATE!" she cried, shaking her face in an attempt to pull the frost away.

Nevertheless, ceasing to attack, she allowed Aokiji to run towards her, while creating an ice saber.

" ICE SWORD! " He shouted, pointing his weapon at her.

"HATTE...?" The pokemon wondered, seeing him right in front of her.

Suddenly, a fist hit Aokiji's face. Startled, the man felt real pain as blood poured out of his nose. Flying back, he then felt his back touch the ground, as he lay on the ground.

Startled, Nami and Lucy looked at Luffy, who had just positioned himself in front of Hatterene, while some blood was visible on his fist. "

" Luffy ? "

" How did you do ? "

Ignoring their questions, Luffy just stared at Aokiji, who was starting to straighten up. Putting his hand to his nose, in an attempt to stop the bleeding, the Admiral stared at Luffy's fist and saw nothing that looked like seastone.

"I'm surprised, Mugiwara! I didn't know you could master haki."

" I don't know what you're talking about. " Luffy retorted, getting into a fighting stance. "I just hit you to keep you from hurting my friends more."

Seeing nothing but frankness on his face, Aokiji noticed.

"So you're unable to control your haki! It's too bad for you."

At that moment, being able to set foot on the ground again, Sanji groaned.

" Motherfucker. "

For his part, managing to move the trunks that was crushing him, Zoro got back to his feet, while positioning one of his swords towards Shizuo.

"It's not over."

" GUYS, STOP ! " Shouted Luffy.

Startled, Zoro, Sanji and all the still conscious pirates turned to Luffy, who only stared at Aokiji.

"Leave immediately! I will fight this guy alone."

"What?" Sanji wondered.

"Luffy, this is crazy." Lucy retorted. "The only way we have to beat him and fight him together! You can't..."

"THIS FIGHT IS JUST ABOUT HIM AND ME." Luffy roared, getting into a fighting stance.

Looking at him without doing anything, Aokiji ends up questioning him.

"Do you realize that if you lose, you will have no chance of surviving?"

"I have no reason to lose." Luffy retorted.

Seeing him do this, Nami wanted to take a step towards him.

" Luffy ... "

" EVERYONE TO MERRY. " Zoro yelled suddenly.

Having uttered this order, while gritting his teeth, the second of the crew ordered.

"Everyone still able to run help the others! We must leave the area immediately and wait for Luffy at the Merry! Everyone...don't shame our captain."

Hearing him, knowing how critical the situation was, Wiper finally managed to remove the last pieces of ice that covered him.

" Damn it. "

Then, he had to help Nami, Zoro, Sanji and Lucy to try to wake the others or carry them. For her part, still being behind Luffy, Hatterene slowly approached him.

" Hatte ... "

"Go back to the boat." Luffy ordered her.

" Hatte ? "

"I won't die." Luffy assured her.

Hearing this, Hatterene wanted to insist. However, eventually lowering her gaze for a few moments, she ends up letting her eyes turn blue.

Seeing them do this, Shizuo groaned. However, instead of chasing after them, the man reached into his trouser pockets and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. A few seconds later, he began to smoke.

"Are you going to pursue them?" Aokiji questioned him.

"Why would I?" Shizuo questioned him. "I'm not a Navy soldier.

"I validate your argument."

Suddenly, the pair were startled, seeing Luffy slam his fist into the ground.

"I have no choice." Luffy affirmed. "I must defeat you quickly."

"And how are you going to do it?"

Immediately, steam surrounded Luffy's body and feeling his arm pain return, the pirate winced in pain. Yet, staring at Aokiji with rage and determination, he shouted.

" GEAR SECOND ! "
