Growling in displeasure, Paulie tried to punch Luffy who backed away.
"Stop making fun of me, Mugiwara! Are you trying to make me believe that you don't know anything about this assassination?"
"Of course! And I know Robin isn't a murderer."
"Then why does Iceberg-san say he recognized him?"
Gritting his teeth, Luffy declared.
"Then let me talk to him! I want to hear him say it was Robin who shot him."
"We have no reason to trust you."
However, he was forced to jump to dodge an attack from Tilestone.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" The man roared.
"Grrrr! Tilestone, you're seriously starting to annoy me."
Then, letting several ropes come out of his sleeves, Paulie used them to tie up his comrade, before lifting him into the air.
"Sorry, but it's for your own good."
Still unable to see reality, Tilestone eventually felt his body hit the ground, while his head and upper body disappeared underground.
"With a shock like that, I hope this will help him come to his senses." Paulie said.
Hatterene use PSYCHIC.
Flying around the pokemon, a multitude of debris left their place to float in the air. Seeing this, Paulie could only take a step back, before seeing the pokemon throw them towards him.
"DAMN IT!" The carpenter roared as he fled.
And while many crashing noises were heard, Johnny began to cough up blood. Having thrown the palm of his hand against his stomach, Lucci had thrown him back, while his attack had the same force as a cannonball.
In front of the man, who had no scars, Johnny and Yosaku got up with difficulty. Even two against the carpenter, they hadn't managed to touch him once.
"Damn it! This guy is too strong."
"He is able to block our swords effortlessly and he has Herculean strength! How can we defeat such a monster?"
Not giving them time to find a solution, Lucci jumped into the air, before falling back towards them, clenching his fists. Screaming in fear, the duo jumped to the sides to avoid his attack. Striking the ground, Lucci's fists created craters, proving that he could have destroyed the skulls of the two pirates, if he had managed to touch them.
"This... This guy really wants to kill us." Yosaku feared.
However, seeing that Lucci needed a few seconds to get back on his feet, Johnny held out his dial towards him.
" AXE DIAL ! "
Immediately, a sharp gust of wind shot towards Lucci and hit him.
"GOTCHA!" Johnny rejoices.
However, he quickly lost his smile, seeing Lucci staring at him. While only his shirt appeared to have been cut, Johnny's attack hadn't even scratched his skin.
"Huh…this…Is this a joke?"
As scared as he was, Yosaku suddenly let out a cry, before attacking Lucci's back. Yet, not even needing to turn around, Lucci simply moved his arm back and hit Yosaku with his elbow.
Feeling his diaphragm being hit, the man gasped. But as he fell to his knees, he felt Lucci grab his head. And the next moment, his body was thrown forward, before colliding with Johnny.
Once again, both men ended up on the ground. Looking at them with contempt, Lucci seemed to be annoyed at their weakness. Seeming to wonder what he was going to do with them, his attention was drawn to the sounds of another fight.
Continuing to move backwards to dodge Velvet's attacks, Kaku seemed to be in trouble.
" IMPULSE DESIRE ! "
Continuing her kicks to knock Kaku back, Velvet then jumped, before raising her arm in the air. Following her with his gaze, Kaku saw her create a sphere of black flames, which she let fall towards him.
Then, a big explosion took place when she hit the ground. Landing back on her feet, Velvet stared at the scene of the explosion. However, not even needing to turn around, she felt Kaku's presence at her back, while he had used his lightning speed to dodge her attack.
"You are fast and you seem to be a good fighter." The demon stated.
Then turning around, she questioned him.
"Then why don't you attack me? Are you ashamed to attack a woman?"
Remaining silent, Kaku didn't know what to think of the situation. He had had around ten opportunities to counterattack. And yet, every time he was about to attack Velvet, he froze when his eyes met her. He couldn't. His body was incapable of harming Velvet.
"Damn it! What's happening to me?" He asked himself, shaking his face.
Seeming hesitant, Velvet growled in displeasure, before running towards him.
"I'll teach you not to underestimate me."
However, quick and discreet, Lucci approached her before punching her in the ribs. Opening her mouth to spit blood, Velvet flew over a large portion of the shipyard before crashing into the hull of a ship, which she fell through.
"Velvet!" Nami panicked.
As surprised as she was, Kaku saw Lucci in front of him, while the carpenter was aiming at him. Seeing only frustration in his eyes, Kaku couldn't help but feel a certain fear, while he knew that Lucci was angry with him.
"Can I know what you're doing?" Hattori asked.
"So...Sorry! I just let my guard down."
"In this case, I strongly advise you to concentrate! Because otherwise, you risk feeling a lot of retaliation."
Getting up at this moment, Lulu placed her hand on her sore side.
"Damn it! Why did Tilestone attack me?"
Moving his legs, Tilestone also seemed to regain consciousness. Finally, managing to raise his head from the ground, he let out a huge cry.
" MY HEAD ! "
Placing his hand on his head, he tried to regain his senses.
"I was fighting a ghost and then…"
Suddenly displaying an angry look, he turned to Paulie.
"PAULIE! May I know why you knocked me out?"
"I hope you're joking." Paulie groaned. "You've gone completely crazy."
"It's not my fault! It's because of that ghost."
"And how could I have continued to fight with you trying to kill me?"
Finally, trying to calm the situation, Paulie looked at the multitude of debris that covered the ground around Luffy and Hatterne.
"Tsss! That damn ghost purposely protected Mugiwara with this debris! As soon as we want to get close to him, this thing uses its telekinetic powers to lift the debris and try to crush us with it."
"In that case, we have no choice." Kaku said, joining them.
"We will have to defeat this ghost, in order to be able to capture Mugiwara." Hattori understood.
But as the five carpenters gathered to face Mugiwara, laughter was heard.
"Hahahaha! The reputation of the Galley-La carpenters is not exaggerated." Franky remarked.
Sitting on the ground, while holding a cup of tea in his hand, he seemed to be enjoying the show, while neither carpenter seemed very interested in fighting him.
"If this continues, Mugiwara will lose against them." Mozu remarked.
"Aniki, is it really reasonable to let your prey be defeated by these guys?" Kiwi asked. "If they are the ones who manage to defeat him, we will never get the reward for his capture."
"Hahaha! Indeed." Franky agreed, drinking his tea. "However, there is much more important than money."
Suddenly throwing his cup of tea on the ground, he stood up while declaring.
"Initially, Mugiwara was my opponent and suddenly Galley-La intervened! And because of that, our fight was stopped! And that, I can't stand it! My reputation has been damaged."
Hearing this, Paulie groaned.
"Stay still, Franky! Just be glad we're not interested in your capture."
"A word of advice! Take advantage of our indulgence and run away." Lulu declared.
Starting to smile, Franky repeated.
"Your indulgence?"
Seeming angry to hear this, the cyborg clasped his arms together before pointing them towards the carpenters.
"Do you really think I have any reason to fear you? I think you've forgotten who I am."
Suddenly his forearms began to swell.
"But don't worry! I'll be happy to remind you why I fear Water-7."
"What is he doing?" Kaku asked.
"Oye! Is he preparing a laser?" Tilestone asked.
"Not a laser." Franky retorted. "I'm simply preparing an air blast! I'm going to release a huge amount of air at supersonic speed! And the effect will be so devastating that you'll feel like you're being hit by a giant cannon."
"Hey! Is he serious?" Lulu asked, taking a step back.
"Tsss! He's bluffing." Paulie retorted, starting to pull his ropes out of his sleeves.
Yet Franky's arms continued to swell, as he still aimed at the small group.
" COUP ... "
"What is he doing?" Luffy asked, while he was also in the path of the impact.
" ... DE ... "
Taken by a bad feeling, Hatterene decided to attack him.
Hatterene use PSYBEAM.
Passing between the carpenters, the attack flew at full speed towards the cyborg. However, continuing to smile, Franky seemed to take pleasure in seeing the attack coming his way. And before she could touch him, he unleashed his own attack.
" ... VENT ! "
Immediately, a devastating blast was felt throughout the shipyard. Hit by the gusts of supersonic winds, Hatterene's attack was decimated, while the air explosion continued its path towards the Carpenters.
"RUN!" Paulie ordered.
Too late. The attack hit the group of carpenters, before hitting a crane and a ship under construction. With a few intact parts, the metal of the crane twisted as the boat was pulverized into pieces.
Finding themselves not far from the affected area, Johnny and Yosaku felt their bodies flying backwards, as did those of the civilians watching the fight. Seeming to be the only one left standing perfectly, Franky looked in awe at the extensive damage he had just caused, as he asked.
"So? Who should you fear?"
His only response was to see the crane collapse on the ground, while the shipyard looked like nothing more than a field of ruin. Almost the entire area had been damaged. Having been thrown into the air, Paulie ends up crashing among the debris.
"Damn it!" He growled, not even having the strength to get up. "He wasn't kidding! This gust has the same power as a giant cannon."
Feeling a large amount of dust hitting them, Johnny and Yosaku began touching.
"Tell me I'm dreaming! This guy destroyed the shipyard with one attack."
"It's impossible that he's human." Yosaku stated. "It must be a machine from another world."
For her part, having seen the explosion, while she was on the other side of the construction site, Velvet wiped a trickle of blood that ran down her chin, while grunting.
"Since I have been in this world, I have the impression of only meeting specimens worthy of being exhibited at a fair."
"VELVET! We have to leave."
Raising her gaze, the demoness saw Luffy who had grabbed the top of another crane. Having stretched out his arm in time to hoist himself out of danger, the pirate had also wrapped his second arm around Hatterene to pull her out of danger. Having seen Velvet, he motioned for her to follow him.
"We have to leave the construction site." He affirmed, while letting go of his grip.
Dropping to the ground, he ran towards Nami.
"JOHNNY! YOSAKU!"
"A...AYE!" The duo shouted, rushing to get up.
But as the small group of pirates rushed out of the construction site, they saw several civilians begin to surround them.
"You are not leaving here."
Seeing them arriving in large numbers, Luffy hastened to stretch his arm towards a roof.
"We have to go that way."
And before the pirates could understand, they felt their bodies begin to float above the ground. So, while Luffy carried her under his arm, Hatterene used her powers on Nami and the others, and managed to take them to the roof.
" They run away. "
"We have to catch them."

Removing a mask that covered his face, Usopp inspected the welding he had just made. Then he declared.
"This time I'm done."
being seated behind him, Gin saw him handing him his tonfas.
"With my modifications, you should be able to boost your abilities during your next fights."
Hearing this, Gin took his weapons and inspected them.
"I hope you're telling the truth."
In response, Usopp began to put away his equipment, while declaring.
"It doesn't matter that we have become enemies! I never botch my work."
Simply putting away his weapons, Gin got up before putting some money on a table.
"So much for your expenses."
"Huh?" Usopp said. "Is this pity?"
"Bakayaro! We are no longer companions." Gin retorted. "Normally, you would have waited a long time before seeing a penny come out of my pocket! However, I am obliged to pay you, now that we belong to two different crews."
Then, getting ready to leave, Gin declared.
"By the way, I hope you're ready to face the Aqua Laguna."
"Aqua Laguna?" Usopp repeated.
"A word of advice! Go to town! You'll understand."
"Luffy-aniki! I hope you're joking."
"It's suicide."
Staying still, Luffy stared at a building, which was surrounded by journalists and carpenters. Knowing what he wanted to do, Johnny and Yosaku wanted to stop him.
"This is where Iceberg is! You can't go into this building."
"If the carpenters see you here, they'll think you're here to kill Iceberg."
"Luffy, they're right." Nami affirmed. "Remember, they think we are responsible for the assassination attempt on Iceberg! Wanting to talk to him will only intensify their suspicions."
"I need to talk to him." Luffy retorted.
" Huh ? "
Thinking about what Paulie had said, he declared.
"I want Ice-ossan to tell me himself that it was Robin who tried to kill him."
"And how do you plan to find it?" Johnny wanted to know.
"On top of that, if he thinks you're the person who ordered Sister-Robin to kill him, I doubt he'll want to talk to you."
"To find out, I just have to try." Luffy said.
Letting out a weary sigh, Velvet groaned.
"He's just an idiot."
Then, she let herself fall from the roof, before landing in front of the carpenters.
"Huh?" The group of men were surprised.
"Hey, pigs." Velvet insulted them. "I'm part of Monkey D. Luffy's crew and I order you to let me see Iceberg."
Surprised at first, the carpenters aimed their weapons at her.
"Are you part of Mugiwara's crew?"
"Are you stupid or something?"
"There's no way we're letting you see Iceberg-san."
Expecting this kind of response, Velvet didn't want to push it. Simply turning around, she began to run at full speed. Seeing her, several carpenters pursued her.
" Come back here. "
"We must capture her."
Seeing several of his comrades chasing after Velvet, one of the remaining carpenters retorted.
"Bakayaro! It must be a trap."
Too late. now being half as numerous, the remaining carpenters were easy targets for Hatterene.
Hatterene use CONFUSION.
Affected by her attack, some carpenters felt pain in their heads.
"Are you okay?" Someone asked, seeing them in pain.
"In response, the people targeted by the pokemon aimed their weapons at the other carpenters, before shouting.
"They're here! Mugiwara's crew!"
" What ? "
And a few seconds later, the carpenters began to fight among themselves. Noticing this, Luffy took the opportunity to stretch his arms towards Galley-La HQ.
"Stay here! I'll come back as soon as I talk to Ice-ossan."
Then the next second, he let his body crash into a window, before entering the building.
" BLUENOOOOOO !"
Hearing someone shout his name, a bartender almost broke the glass he was cleaning. Then, turning his gaze towards the entrance of his bar, he saw Franky entering the building, followed by Mozu and Kiwi.
"Franky…Are you here to pay back everything you owe me?"
"Tssss! At your age, aren't you ashamed to believe that Santa Claus exists?"
Then, opening his stomach, he removed three empty bottles from his abdomen.
"As usual! Give me three colas."
However, as he placed the bottles on the bar counter, he heard a female voice behind him.
" Franky ... "
Turning around, he saw a woman dressed like a waitress, smiling at him.
"Have you come to repay all the debts you owe us?"
"Grrrr! What do you have today? As usual, I don't have a penny on me! So, as usual, I'll pay you back when I can."
The next moment, sounds of struggle were heard, followed by a cry of agony. Performing a wrestling hold, the waitress managed to pin Franky to the ground, while the poor cyborg was unable to get up.
" OUCH ! OUCH ! STOP ! STOP ! "
"REFUND US OR I'LL BREAK YOUR ARM!" The waitress roared.
Letting out a weary sigh, Blueno finally intervened.
"Fosha! I already told you to stop being violent with customers! You'll end up scaring them away."
"What's the point of keeping a customer like that cheapskate?" Fosha growled, releasing Franky. "He never pays."
Rushing to a stool, Franky held his sore arm, complaining as he did so.
"Blueno...I'm going to have to go to the hospital because of your waitress! Can you tell me why you hired this fury?"
"To keep my bar safe." Blueno said simply. "As soon as a pirate causes trouble here, you can be sure that Fosha will break his arms to calm him down."
"No need to fight." Mozu assured, showing several bills.
"Today, we are still rich." Adds Kiwi, "We have 1 million berries left."
Hearing this, Fosha put glasses on his nose before doing calculations on a notebook.
"Franky has to reimburse us... a table... three chairs... a window pane... a dozen broken bottles... 33 bottles of colas... the hole in the ceiling... I think this money can pay off his debts."
But as she was about to grab the money, Fosha saw Franky grab the bills, before heading towards the other customers of the bar.
" Hey, everybody ! "
Tossing the money into the air, he declared.
"I'll pay for the next round! Drink and eat whatever you want."
" OUAH ! GREAT ! "
"You're the best Franky."
"HAHAHAHA! Of course I'm the best." The cyborg assured.
Unfortunately for him, he felt himself being strangled, as Fosha performed another wrestling hold on him.
" FRANKYYYYYYYY ! "
"STOP! You're going to kill me!"
Finally, taking refuge again towards Blueno's counter, he insisted.
"Hurry up my cola! If I stay here, I feel like your waitress is really going to kill me."
But before Blueno could answer him, Franky heard someone notice.
"Your business looks good, Franky."
"Huh?" The cyborg was surprised, noticing that someone was sitting next to him.
Immediately, he recognized the face of Kokoro, who was drinking a pour of alcohol.
"Kokoro? What are you doing here?"
"Hey, Franky." Chimney greeted.
"Meow!" Gonbe adds.
"It's a bar here." The man growled. "Not a daycare! Children like you shouldn't be allowed to come here."
"I should also ban exhibitionist cyborgs from entering." Fosha growled.
"Stop growling." Franky ordered. "This is what I offer you! You give me my cola and when I have defeated Mugiwara and stolen all his money, I will come back to pay back everything I owe you."
"Okay! But if not, you will have to work for us until you pay us back." Fosha declared.
"You can always dream." Franky growled. "I have no desire to be like you and play the role of a maid."
"Do you know what the maid is telling you?" Fosha roared.
But before a fight could begin, Blueno placed three bottles of cola on his counter.
"Quiet! Here's your order, Franky."
" Great ! Thank you, Blueno. "
"Tssss! You're too nice to him, boss." Fosha retorted.
Hastening to place the cola bottles inside his abdomen, Franky felt his strength returning at full speed. Then, he placed his arms above himself again.
" SUUPPPPPEEERRRRR ! "
Having regained much of his vitality, he roared.
"Next time I see Mugiwara, I'll have no problem killing him! By the way, Kokoro, can I ask why you're here? Is your alcohol supply empty?"
"The aqua Laguna is coming." The old woman replied. "I preferred to come and find safety here."
Continuing to drink, she affirmed.
"I would have liked to take this opportunity to have a drink with Iceberg! But apparently, someone shot him."
"That's what I heard." Franky affirmed. "Pirates are believed to be responsible."
"Are you sure?" Fosha asked. "I would have bet it was you."
"SHUT UP!" Franky roared. "I have no interest in killing Iceberg! On the contrary! Even if this guy annoys me, it's thanks to his company that pirates come to this island! If Galley-La disappears, I no longer have a job ."
At that moment, Kokoro started laughing.
"I doubt those responsible are pirates."
"Huh?" Franky and Fosha were surprised.
"The government won't stop harassing Iceberg."
"What? Are you accusing Corgi?" Franky asked. " It's ridiculous. "
"Corgi is just an idiot." Fosha agreed. "He acts tough when he comes to Water-7 but it shows that he doesn't have the courage to kill someone."
"I'm not accusing Corgi." Kokoro retorted. "But CP9."
Immediately, Blueno and Fosha's eyes changed for a very short moment. It was so quick that no one noticed this detail.
"CP9?" Fosha repeated, pretending not to know what it was. "Have you ever heard of this, Boss?"
"It's just rumors." Blueno stated. "The Cipher Pool is only made up of 9 units ranging from CP0 to CP8."
"He's right." Franky agreed, looking bored. "These are just rumors about so-called secret organizations."
"Don't be stupid." Kokoro retorted. "You speak like the rest of the population! But ultimately, you are like everyone else! In a rumor, there is always a hint of truth."
"You seem very confident to me." Franky remarked. "How about you tell us everything you know?"
"I don't know any more than you." Kokoro retorted, drinking another drink.
"BAKAYARO!" Franky roared. "To think I'm wasting my time listening to the stupidities of an old drunk."
Lying on his bed, Iceberg stared at the ceiling without uttering a single word. Being with him, Kalifa looked out the window, while she saw the carpenters fighting in front of the building.
"What are these idiots doing? The noise they're making is keeping you up, Iceberg-san."
"I doubt I'll be able to sleep anyway." The man retorted.
" ICE-OSSAN ! "
Surprised the duo, heard footsteps coming from the corridor. Then, a few seconds later, the door opened.
"ICE-OSSAN!" Luffy repeated.
Looking around the room, the pirate was about to leave to continue looking for Iceberg, when he saw him lying on his bed.
"I found you." Luffy rejoiced.
"Mugiwara?" Iceberg wondered.
" MUGIWARA! " Kalifa roared, rushing towards him to attack him.
However, she heard Icerberg's voice stop her.
" Stop ! Kalifa ! "
"Huh?" His secretary was surprised. "Iceberg-san?"
"I would like to talk to him." The man said, standing up.
Then looking at Luffy, Iceberg questioned him.
"So, you came here to finish me off, right?"
"What? What are you talking about?" Luffy questioned.
"Don't act innocent." Iceberg retorted. "I admit that I don't understand the reason for your action, but you are inevitably the person who is behind my attempted murder."
"That's not true." Luffy retorted.
"In that case, can you tell me why Nico Robin wanted to kill me?"
"What?" Luffy was surprised. "
"I couldn't recognize the other person wearing a mask." Iceberg admitted. "But I am certain of one thing…"
Remembering the face of a woman with black hair and blue eyes, he assured.
"Yesterday, Nico Robin tried to kill me."
