These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. Newest chapter: Beru Asui is happy at home with her family of five. But the norm is about to be shaken up.

224. Tsumuji Kazetani (Gust Boy)

A.N. — Boku no Hero Academia is full of many strange-looking characters, but today's birthday villain is among the most bizarre in appearance. The second of three Volcano Thieves, he almost reminds me of an alien that belongs in Star Wars. Happy birthday, Tsumuji Kazetani.

224. Tsumuji Kazetani/Gust Boy

Tsumuji Kazetani called himself Gust Boy, but he had the joints of an old man.

His quirk, Fan, allowed him to rotate his fingers and wrists to create cyclonic-level whirlwinds. But it was hell on his body. Due to the strain, Tsumuji was limited in the time he could spin up his fan powers. He'd dreamed of a super move where he helicoptered himself out of danger, but that was beyond his tolerance to pull off. The biggest indignity of all, though, was having a duck bill instead of a useful mutation that reinforced his fragile but vital carpals.

A.N. 2 — This drabble was a big victim of cut-downs to get to 100 words. I had a line about pyroclastic flow in there originally, and a nod to Inspector Gadget too.
