A world with quirks means its people are going to wind up rather quirky. Whether heroes, villains, or somewhere in-between, every BnHA character deserves to have their story told. These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. Newest chapter: Beru Asui is happy at home with her family of five. But the norm is about to be shaken up.

253. Yuyu Haya

A.N. — Happy birthday, Yuyu Haya. Short name, short hair, but you still get the same 100 words as everyone else... even though this drabble probably had the most scrapped content out of any I've so far written. I swear, this fought me so hard because I didn't want to make this more about Nejire Hado than Yaya herself.

253. Yuyu Haya

If it wasn't going to doom her to being an eternal sidekick, Yuyu Haya would pick Wingwoman as her hero name. It was, after all, her most dependable trait.

It wasn't just her steadfast support of Nejire Hado; Yuyu's quirk, too, functioned better in a complementary role. She was satisfied as the tomboy who stood out for her multiple piercings and salmon-pink dyed hair. Yuyu knew surpassing her classmates in sheer strength and skill was very unlikely, nor could she match her best friend's level of cuteness. But by synergizing with her classmates, Yuyu, too, could touch the sky.

A.N. 2 — I think the Cementoss drabble has been the only other time I've mentioned this, but the character list in this fandom is lacking. Yuyu, an actual named UA student, is absent. There's many other, more minor, characters I've let slide. But when it's someone with a robust fandom presence, I get irritated.
